If you’re a huge Jackass fan like myself, you’ll have heard about Bad Grandpa… And even if you aren’t a huge fan but like the Jackass TV show and the films, you’ll have probably heard about it as well.
However, if you haven’t, this post will be ideal for you!
On the 17th July the official Jackass Facebook page announced that they were bringing out a new film, Bad Grandpa and that it would be out in cinemas late October and alongside the announcement they released the trailer for the film.
The film will of course be a comedy like the three (five if you include the straight to DVD movies too) Jackass movies that came out and the film was of course directed by Jeff Tremaine and written by Jeff Tremaine, Johnny Knoxville and Spike Jonze.
The film stars Johnny Knoxville as Irving Zisman and Jackson Nicoll as Billy.
Unlike the Jackass films, Bad Grandpa has a plot, as well as stunts and pranks which will make a change from the Jackass films for sure and something I am excited to see!
This is the plot, taken from Wikipedia:
86-year-old Irving Zisman (Johnny Knoxville) and Billy (Jackson Nicoll) are on a road trip across the United States. Irving is tasked with taking his grandson to live with his father after his mother is jailed. Interspersed with the brief story segments are hidden camera pranks and stunts.
I for one am so damn exciting for this film and whilst I probably won’t go and see it the day it comes out, due to how busy I imagine it’ll be, but I’ll definitely go and see it within a week after it’s come out in cinemas.
It’s out in cinemas in the UK on 25th October 2013, make sure you go and see it if you’re a Jackass fan, even though you probably plan to already. 😛
