Today’s blog post is going to be chatty one, because why not! I haven’t written a life lately in almost a year and that’s pretty crazy to be honest with you.
I just fancied doing a chatty type post this morning. The mood struck me last night to do this but most of the time I was to busy listening to music and chilling. Oops! 😛
This is just going to be a bit of a rambling post really, chatting about all sorts from personal life and blog life. You know, the usual. 😛
I feel like recently I’ve either not had any time for myself over a weekend and had plans from the moment I finish work Friday afternoon until Sunday evening. Or me and Dane have just spent the weekend doing fuck all but chilling together playing games and watching anime or binge watching something on Netflix.
Life has been good, but odd all the same… But not in a bad way at all!
Summer has pretty much been me and Dane playing Pokemon Go, avoiding getting sunburn and being excited for the arrival of Dane’s nephew.
The summer has whizzed by in a blur of under boob sweat and too many McFlurry’s. Whilst McFlurry’s can stay, I can’t wait for autumn now.
September is my favourite month of the year for so many reasons. I always talk about this in a separate post, which as usual I’ll be doing this month too. 😛
September to me is the start of something new, it’s sort of my New Year if you will. Purely because it reminds me of school. Starting back, becoming a new person for that year, all that shit. I’m like it every year. This year I was intending to start going to Japanese language classes, but that’s not looking as likely now as it actually was. There are a couple of reasons why it’s not happening now. 1. I wanted Dane to come with me so we could learn together, but he can’t commit to it due to work. 2. It’s a night class once a week and whilst I would be able to go after work I wouldn’t get home until late and with winter and early nights approaching, I don’t think I’d enjoy doing that on my own. Finally we have 3. It’s not exactly cheap and we’re trying to save up at the moment.
I’m pretty sure in the future I’ll go and do the classes, but for now me and Dane have rebooted our Japanese Rosetta Stone and bought some Japanese for Dummies books! We’ve had a go at chapter one together and it is amazing. If I think it’s post worthy, I’ll definitely write about my Japanese language journey monthly. Would you guys like to see this? 🙂
I won’t mention too much about it here but recently Dane became an uncle and we couldn’t be happier for his brother and girlfriend! We’re actually really excited and yesterday they popped over with the little one and their dog Dino. It was a lovely day, I cooked katsu curry and made some slimming world brownies too!
It was just a lovely way to kick start the bank holiday to be honest with you, which in turn is lovely to not be working this year.
Can I just add, how crap the weather has also been the past few days? Bloody hell! I feel like at the start of the week we were on 17-20 and this morning when I woke up it was 11! Jeez. Autumn is definitely on it’s way!
It’s currently 1pm and I have legit not left my bed all day apart from when I’ve been to pee and go make myself a cup of coffee. Man I need to move sooner rather than later! 😛
Random but something that is really good lately is my blog. It’s just done some leaps and bounds of late and I cannot believe it! I went to a Coventry bloggers event on Friday and I loved it so much. I’ll be talking about that really soon so keep your eye peeled for that. 😛
I’ve also got a brand to talk about on my blog soon too, so again keep your eyes peeled for that too!
I’m legit going to need to make a tab on my blog dedicated to companies I’ve worked with! 😛
Urgh I feel like I’ve chatted too much! I’m so boring I actually have sod all much to talk about. All I seem to have done lately is work, write blog posts, read manga, work, play Persona 4 Golden, work, eat, work, etc.
Right, with that note I am off to actually get out of bed and do some stuff around the house, BUT I will be working on blog posts today so make sure to come and keep me company on Twitter @maybeecoffee

I love september too! Since global warming is getting worse, august isn’t that cold like it used to be here in Chicago. So, now september brings more of those autumn vibes, which i love. Also, it’s my birth month lol.

See recently I was having a conversation with someone I work with about blogs and stuff and she asked me how many posts I write a week. When I answered, “Oh 2 maybe 3 a week!” I then realised it is only twice a week and I started to feel guilty and like I should post more. BUT I don’t have time to post more than twice a week most of the time due to work and social life, you know?!

Congrats to Dane on becoming an Uncle! I always hate this time of year, I hate autumn with a violent passion, its all spiders and manky wet leaves! Well done for learning a new language – I’ve never been able to grasp foreign languages so I really admire that you are going to learn! I hope you have a FABULOUS September! x
