From hardly any reviews on my blog, to LOADS! Aww I do love writing reviews and I always forgot how much I love writing them.
I’m back with yet another The Body Shop product to talk about and today it’s going to be another bath product. I recently spoke about the strawberry bath bomb on my blog and after using the bath bubble, I just knew I had to share how amazing it is with you all!
As I mentioned on my review of the bath bomb, I am still always trying to find brands that amazing bath products that won’t leave your bank account crying afterwards. The Body Shop is doing such a great job with creating amazing bath products and whenever I pick up new ones, I’ll definitely be sharing them with you all!
At the same time as I bought the strawberry bath bomb, I decided to pick up one of the bath bubbles too. I picked up the Coconut Bath Bubble as I found it sounded the most appealing to myself. Whilst the strawberry scent from The Body Shop will always be my favourite hands down, I also love the coconut scent too. I used to use it all the time as a teenager and it was my go to whenever I shopped in The Body Shop.
Like the bath bombs there are various different scents you can pick up for the bath bubbles including coconut, moringa and pink grapefruit. Like the bath bombs these don’t break the bank and only cost £1.50 each.
Like the bath bombs these are only 28g but for how small they are they really do pack a punch and leave you with a bath full of bubbles, scent and colour.
The bubble bar itself is in such a cute little heart shape, which I wasn’t expecting! I don’t know if the other two scents also share this shape, but if they do that would be so cute! It’s also this gorgeous baby blue colour, which really shows when you pop it into the bath. Of course it smells of coconut and I know this sounds odd but it just smells of The Body Shop coconut, a creamy scent that reminds me summers abroad and sun cream. I love it!
Like my Lush bubble bars I use a sieve/strainer to make sure I get the best bubbles possible! I sometimes crumble said bubble bar up into the sieve but I found the coconut bubble bar was quite strong and hard to break so I ended up just popping the whole thing into the sieve and running it under the hot tap.
The blue bath colour really does begin to show through pretty quickly, which took me by surprise! These aren’t big bubble bars but they really aren’t messing around when it comes to the colour payoff in the bath! You can see when you move the bar away from the water how it continues to foam up and bubble, which entertained me for a while.
Even halfway through me running this under the tap it was still really hard to break up and make crumbly, so I had to continue with this until I managed to break it up. It’s a really strong blue colour and I can understand why it gave off such an amazing blue to the water now, as well as loads of bubbles.
Oh my God, look at all the bubbles and all the blue water! I felt like a mermaid to be honest with you and I was loving it!
The water itself had a lovely delicate coconut scent, nothing too strong or too weak, which I really loved. The water was somewhat conditioning on the skin, but nothing like the Lush bath bombs and bubble bars. It did the job though and I felt so pampered after using it. It left a light scent of coconut on my skin too, which would be lovely to compliment afterwards by using either The Body Shop coconut body butter or body milk (which I used to use constantly as a teenager!), or the coconut body mist or eau de toilette.
Since trying the coconut bath bubble I’ve bought three more since as I just love using them so much. I am actually so happy that The Body Shop have brought out stuff like this as like I said on the strawberry bath bomb review, I really don’t want to keep buying and supporting Lush anymore, so if I can support better brands who also won’t rip me off, that would make me so happy!
What do you think of The Body Shop bath bubbles? Would you give them a go? Have you already? Let me know in the comments down below!
Until next time, take care all and I hope your weeks are going well so far.
The siv cracked me up! I’ve never thought to use that I’m always standing there burning away my finger tips trying to hold the bubble bars under the tap hah! Think I’ll have to give this a try love anything coconut!x

Hahaha I love that it made you chuckle! 😛 aww definitely give the coconut one a go, as well as the sieve. 😉 an old mug can work too if you pop the bubble bar in the bottom and run the hot tap on top. 🙂
It’s amazing how much bubbles and colour you can get from such a small product! I need to try out their bath bombs as they honestly smell lush!!

The results are so good aren’t they?! I can’t wait to have more bubble baths with them now! You could even cut it in half and get a decent amount of bubbles. ^_^
Oh I’ve never thought of the idea of using a sieve, that’s a fab tip! My daughter loves her baths, so I will definitely be trying out as they are far cheaper then the lush ones she adores!
Yeah I remember hearing Lushies talk about it many moons ago and decided to give it a go myself. It’s definitely a good idea and works wonders. 😀 yeah definitely give The Body Shop ones a go. ^-^
Oooh you know what? I’ve never tried a Body Shop bath product before! I haven’t had a bubble bath for so long… I love the sound of this coconut one though!
Aww definitely treat yourself to a lovely bath and get some bath goodies ordered! 😀
This looks amazing, I’m definitely wanna try them even more now! And absolutely love the sieve hack, gonna try that next time i have a bubble bar!

Definitely give it a go! 😀 I found out about the sieve hack from Lushies online. 😀 It’s definitely work grabbing! Don’t get a metal one as they go rusty, plastic ones are the best. 🙂
