2018 is definitely the year of pin badges for me! For someone who started off with about two at the start of it, I now have quite a nice little collection coming on. I can complain all I want but I really love pin badges. They’ve fast become jewellery to me and I always have a pin badge either on my jackets, cardigans, jumpers and sometimes on my dresses. The only place I refuse to keep pin badges are on my bags and this is due to them either leaving holes behind on bags, or even the worry of them falling off. This has happened various times in the past with my Deapdool pin badge and thankfully I’ve never lost it.
Anyway, I thought I would share my newest additions to my pin flag as I feel that they need to be mentioned. I’ve mentioned Jennifairy on my blog in the past, which you can read here. I love her Eeveelution designs to death and I honestly need to order more of her goodies in 2019!
So without further ado, it’s time to show and talk about the pin badges.
These pin badges were announced back in October and whilst I was travelling to London I decided to order them. They arrived pretty much a week later due to the amount of Kickstarter’s I’ve backed with pin badges I forgot that these weren’t so they arrived quicker than I thought they would. Jennifairy is always great with shipping anyway, so if you wanted to order anything for Christmas, she’s great for that.
As you’ll have guessed from the title these are collaboration pin designs by both Jennifairy and Sour Attitude Club. I own pins by both of them and although I love the previous ones, these two Pikachu designs are definitely my favourite to date for so many reasons.
I ordered my pins from Jennifairy as she’s based in the UK, whereas Sour Attitude Club is based in America, so it just made sense really. You could either purchase both the pins separately or together, of course I had to go for the latter.
The two designs are adorable and cafe related and you have one Pikachu that is inside a crepe and the other Pikachu who is holding a Jigglypuff ice cream. Both are absolutely adorable! Although I was drawn to the Pikachu holding the Jigglypuff ice cream, I loved them both too much to just buy the one. I’m so glad I have both of the designs.
The designs of both the pins have clearly had loads of thought and love put into them and the detailing on the crepe Pikachu is amazing for a pin badge. It’s not even anything major, but I love it so much. It reminds me of something you would be served at the Pokemon Cafe in Japan, without the Pikachu sadly. 😛
The Pikachu holding the Jigglypuff ice cream I feel is a more subtle design and I feel has been made for people who may not want anything too much when it comes to a pin badge. This is the sort of badge I would wear for work as it isn’t too in your face. I do really love that the ice cream is in a Jigglypuff shape! They could have done a brown chocolate ice cream in the shape of Eevee ready for the new Let’s Go games that are coming out tomorrow. I love the Jigglypuff pink more. 😛
The crepe pin is surprisingly more weighty than I thought it was going to be, but I rather like that myself. Due to the size of the Jigglypuff ice cream pin it doesn’t weigh anything, which I also really like.
On the back of both pins the designers names are printed, which I really love. I like when I see artists adding their names onto their pins, it just gives a bit more of a luxe feel to the pin badges and it’s nice for people to remember who their pins are by, just in case they forget. I know a lot of people out there own a lot more pins than I do so they may forget. OR if you are gifting these to friends and family, if they don’t remember and want to buy more pins by that same designer they can see the names on the back.
I know this is nothing special, but when I buy pins and they have a nice backing card, it does make me happy! I really love the simplicity of these backing cards. It’s sad but I do keep them and stick them into my journal. 😛
When the pin badges arrived, Jennifairy sent along with the order a sticker of the Jigglypuff pin design which I LOVE, as well as a little thank you note. Jenn is so adorable and the note really made my day! I’d been poorly when I received these and it just cheered me up so much, I was very thankful. 🙂
Overall I LOVE these pin badges so much and I can honestly see me rocking them with my Insert Coin Clothing Persona 5 jacket for quite some time now! Well at least until some very exciting pins arrive from one (if not) my favourite independent artist out there… 😛 Stay tuned for that!
I’ll pop both Jennifairy and Sour Attitude Club’s websites and social media down below so you can go and check them out!

What do you think of the Pika Sweet Cafe pins? Will you be picking either if not both designs up yourself? Let me know in the comments down below!
Until next time, take care all and I hope you’re as ready for the weekend as I am.
OMG! The designs are so cute! I love the idea of using pins as jewelry. I stopped collecting pins because I was just keeping them on a pinboard and thought they were a waste of money, I’m going to steal your idea and use them as jewelry! ♥

Aww I love that I’ve inspired you to use them as jewellery like I do! 😀 A blogger I know if she wears dresses with cardigans she’ll use the pins to keep the cardigan in place, which I thought was a good idea! 😀 I have some pins from the Pokemon Centre that I want to make into a frame as I love them too much to wear them. 😛
I love pins, and I definitely need to start a Pokemon selection! These are so cute!
You should make it a goal for 2019! 😉
