From Japan Pokemon Eeveelutions Haul

Almost a couple of months ago now, I decided to write about From Japan on my blog with a review of the proxy service, as well as showing you guys my haul from my second order. You can read all about that here.

I’m here again with yet another haul! This time it’s from my first order I made with From Japan in April, as well as my third order I made in June.

I know you guys loved when I spoke about From Japan before, so I knew when my first and third orders arrived I wanted to share what goodies I bought with you all!

I really hope you enjoy this post today, it’s such a hot weekend so grab a cold drink (or even better an ice cream!) and get in front of the fan as you read this post. πŸ™‚

I mentioned on my From Japan review previously that I’d made my first order with them back in April and I was still waiting for my goodies to arrive! I’d decided to ship via surface mail, which is notorious for taking MONTHS. Alas, my order took almost 3 months to arrive, but better late than never and it was definitely worth it!

First things first, if you’re happy to wait ages for your goods to arrive, surface mail with tracking is fab… But I definitely prefer airmail! Your goods come within a week and they always usually have tracking too.

Anyhoo, the first item I want to talk about on my haul post is the Pokemon TCG playmat from the Eevee Sweet Choices collection. It’s so cute and it’s actually from me ordering this that I decided to get my own desk in our front room/office.

The packaging it came in was great and it even arrived in its original packaging! The playmat is in perfect condition and has now found it’s place on my desk, which I adore so much! It only arrived on Thursday but in the short time I’ve owned it, it looks great on my desk and I’m so glad I finally made the jump at not only ordering it, but using From Japan to get it.

As far as I’m aware this playmat was a Pokemon Center USA exclusive, so I can only imagine the person who owned it in Japan before me must have imported it. It’s been a longgggg way! πŸ˜›

Shortly after my second order arrived, I started to order items for my third order. I’ve been after the Eeveelutions Pokemon Dolls from 2017 for quite some time now. I bought Flareon back when they released, then Espeon and Umbreon a year or so later and finally Vapreon shortly after that through a Facebook group.

I was still missing most of the Eeveelutions and had been keeping my eyes peeled on Facebook groups, eBay and stores similar. When I was in Japan in January 2020 I looked in stores too, the only Eeveelution Pokemon Doll we came across was the Vaporeon one, which I already owned.

I’d already starting searching for the remaining Eeveelutions I was after on From Japan, with some showing loads of results, others showing very few and one not at all! It was definitely a challenge and I wanted to share with you some of the struggles I faced this time. FYI none of these struggles are any fault of From Japan!

To try and find the Pokemon Dolls I was after, I searched for just that both in English and Japanese. As I mentioned on the previous post about From Japan, you can use Google Translate to help you with getting the rough translation. This result showed not only plushies, but figures too. This took some time when trying to just locate certain Eeveelutions, but it made for something chilled to do whilst watching something on TV.

Whenever I found the Eeveelutions I was after, I would add to my watch list/favourites and order when the time was right! Sadly, some orders were cancelled and fell through. This could either be due to someone ordering the item(s) before me, or just because of proxy seller issues.

The Eeveelutions I needed to complete my collection were, Eevee, Jolteon, Glaceon, Leafeon and Sylveon.

Eevee was the easiest and cheapest out of the five to get hold of! Before shipping I only paid 800 yen for this, which in pounds is Β£5.36. Complete bargain!

Jolteon was the hardest to get hold of. I’d actually found someone selling the American version (tag was different) for Β£45! I was close to buying it, just because I was beginning to see no light at the end of the tunnel, but glad I didn’t. I was refusing to ship all of the Pokemon Dolls I’d bought to me until I’d found this one. You get 45 days to ship your goods to you, something I was starting to get closer and closer to. Alas one day I was randomly having a search around From Japan for this Pokemon Doll and low and behold… I found it! I didn’t hesitate to order and worried a few days after that it may get cancelled for reasons. Thankfully this didn’t happen and as soon as it arrived at the From Japan warehouse, I shipped my goods to me! This Pokemon Doll only cost me 2,200 yen, which in pounds is Β£14.72.

Glaceon wasn’t straight forward and if anything was kind of stressful. The person who had listed the cheap Eevee Pokemon Doll also listed a Glaceon for roughly the same price. However, the order got cancelled as someone else had snagged the bargain ice Pokemon quicker than I had. I quickly ordered a back up I had in my watch list/favourites, which was painful considering how much more it was. I paid 2,700 yen which in pounds is Β£18.15. It was worth it though!

Leafeon was one of the easiest I ordered alongside with Eevee as it never got cancelled and it seemed to be a popular Eeveelution Pokemon Doll for sale too, making it really easy to find. It’s such a cute Pokemon Doll, it’s one my friend Sarah (Raiin Monkey) owns so whenever I see it, I always think of her. I paid 2,600 yen which in pounds is Β£17.40.

Sylveon was fairly easy to get hold of, but it was also the most expensive! It appears whilst people love Sylveon, they also don’t seem to love it as much considering how many of them were listed on From Japan. The prices seemed to rise every time a new listing was made for it too, which is crazy! I paid 3,851 which is pounds is Β£25.77, quite the price jump from the previous Eeveelution Pokemon Dolls, but totally worth it!

These arrived a week after I paid for airmail shipping and they arrived in a bubble wrap style package. I expected a box to be honest with you, but due to them being plushies it worked out fine! Some of the plushies (as you’ll see from the photos above) had tags, which I didn’t expect from some of them!

As always, I’m really happy with all the goodies I bought from From Japan and they’ve all arrived in perfect condition.

I posted a reel on my Instagram page all about buying these and it has done SO WELL, which has really made me smile. I’ll pop it above so you can see it. πŸ˜‰

A lot of people have already asked when I’ll be making a fourth order with From Japan… But I don’t know the answer to that question yet. I’m trying to be good with money since I bought my car. I am planning to use From Japan more in the future to buy my Pokemon goodies (old and new) as well as more! In the future, would you guys like to see a post of my From Japan wish list? πŸ™‚

What do you guys think of the goodies I ordered and had arrive From Japan? What’s your favourite? Who is your favourite Eeveelution too? Make sure to let me know in the comments.

I know the UK is not only a very warm place right now, but a bit scary too with restrictions being lifted from tomorrow. So, until next time please take care all and feel free to drop me a DM on Twitter/Instagram if you ever need someone to talk to. ❀

2017 Favourites!

This post is way behind schedule and as I mentioned in my recent post, I am sorry about that but my health comes first and sadly a week later I am STILL poorly! Not as poorly as I was beforehand, thankfully but still poorly all the same. Me and Dane have a feeling I’ve got the Aussie flu that’s been going around the UK at the moment, either way I hope it passes by the end of the week when I’m back at work!

Finally I am getting around to sitting at my desk and writing this post, which is way overdue now but whatever, better late than never, eh?

I’m going to list my top 5 favourite things from all sorts of things including beauty, fashion and lifestyle because that’s the 3 topics I always focus on on There Might Be Coffee.

Again, I do apologise for how long this post has taken for me to write and publish, but here it finally is, my 2017 favourites!

Beauty

  • L’Oreal Paris Hydra Genius in Normal to Combination Skin (review here).

This is definitely my number one item of 2017 and was also my favourite discovery too! This was a product L’Oreal released last year and after hearing nothing but good things about it, I decided to pick it up when it was on offer. I only recently finished my first bottle and have already repurchased another. This is my go to moisturiser and one I recommend everyone to try, especially during the warmer months and for holidays abroad.

  • Rimmel Insta Fix & Matte Powder.

This is another release this year and one I’d heard positive reviews about so picked it up. Initially I didn’t think much on it, but hoped it would grow on me… It never did and I was really disappointed to be honest. I tried another face powder after this and it was only then I realised that the Rimmel powder was actually amazing and I ended up stopping use of the new powder and picked up another one of these. I really need to review it, but at the same time it doesn’t really need a review. It’s not the best matte powder in the world (Korean ones are! :P) but it really does the job for my oily t-zone and it doesn’t break the bank to buy either.

  • L’Occitane Shea Butter Hand Cream.

I’ve mentioned this hand cream time and time again over the years and I know for a fact I mentioned it plenty of times on here. That itself goes to show how much I love this product. It’s definitely the best hand cream I own and I’ll always go back to it no matter what! Since moving to my new job the state of the eczema on my hands has improved dramatically and it’s purely due to applying hand cream whenever my hands have been washed/wet. I don’t ALWAYS apply this hand cream but it’s often what I reach for. It’s also what I keep in my handbag all the time as it’s great to use if my hands are suffering a little in the colder weather. It really picks my skin back up and if you suffer from eczema like I do, then I recommend trying this! It’s not cheap, but it works wonders.

  • Carmex Cherry Lip Balm.

Again, another beauty product I have spoken about highly since I bought it in September. It was my holy grail whilst I was in Fuerteventura as well as during the day at work whilst sitting at my desk. There’s loads of things I love about using Carmex over other lip balm brands including the cherry flavour, the tingling feeling it gives my lips as well as how thick the product is. Of course the moisture it gives to my lips is always good too! πŸ˜› I recently picked up the Christmas limited edition sugar plum flavour too, which is amazing.

  • Body Fantasies Signature Body Sprays in Cotton Candy and Vanilla.

I picked these up before I went to Fuerteventura as I planned to take the Cotton Candy with me to use in the evenings, but I never bothered and as soon as I got back home I was using them almost daily and still do! These smell gorgeous and I already know they’ll be a regular purchase throughout 2018. They’re great to spritz all over your body before getting changed, as well as spritzing all over you instead of using perfume. I always get compliments on these and they’re a really good price too and come in loads of different scents. I definitely recommend giving them a go if you fancy trying a new brand of body sprays.

Fashion

  • Standard Fox Sweatshirt.

Standard is a clothing brand in Fuerteventura and it’s always a store I visit whenever I’m on the island. Me and Dane both went in when we were there in September/October and Dane picked up a Stormtrooper t-shirt and I picked up this sweatshirt. It’s one of the most comfortable ones I own and it compliments so many outfits, oh and it’s also VERY warm! I wore it on our last day in Fuerteventura when we were coming home and let me tell you, wearing a sweatshirt and jeans for 7 hours in a hot airport is NOT GOOD. πŸ˜› I wear this with jeans as well as my denim shorts and tights. When we had snow I LIVED in this as it kept me lovely and snug, without being too cold or even too warm.

  • Ohayou Clothing Umbreon Varsity Jacket.

This is my go to jacket whenever I’m not at work basically, as I don’t think an Umbreon jacket would go down all that well, do you? πŸ˜› I live in this though whenever I’m not at work, as as well as my Eevee version too. I bought this in October and since then have worn it loads! I really want to get more of Ohayou’s varsity jackets as they also have a Vaporeon and Sylveon versions I would love to have.

  • Primark Knitted Dress.

This is a dress I forgot I owned until before Christmas. I still have some bits and pieces ofΒ  mine left at my mom’s house which I need to go through and decide whether to keep or sell. I went to have a look for some potential work pieces and found this dress there. The last 2 times I’d worn it were both at funerals, my cousins and my grans so I decided to stop wearing it as I felt it was “tainted” with negative vibes. However since bringing it home I’ve worn it loads for work and it’s so comfortable and flattering on my figure. I don’t see it as being tainted anymore, but more of a dress I decided to wear to celebrate both my cousin and my grans lives.

  • Marks & Spencer Red Star Shirt.

I bought this dress not long before I went to Fuerteventura and even took it over there with me, although I didn’t wear it once! I love wearing this shirt for work, as well as for personal use. The first time I wore it was for a meal out with Dane and his parents. I teamed it with my denim shorts and tights and I felt so adorable! Now I’ll team it up with a black skater shirt and smart work trousers.

  • YURI!!! On Ice Cardigan.

Not going to lie, my new job was such an excuse for me to buy this cardigan… πŸ˜› I wanted it for ages but at the time it was so expensive at Β£41.99 but when it went down to Β£24.99 I snatched it up, as did my best friend Gabriella (HEYYY! :D) so we’re cardigan besties. πŸ˜› This is the most comfortable cardigan I own though and I wore it to death the first week I owned it! I still wear it loads as it’s got really long sleeves and isn’t too thick so isn’t too warm to wear in the office. I wear it with any outfit it’ll work with pretty much.

Lifestyle

  • Persona 5 on PlayStation 4.

This has to be the number one favourite thing of mine from 2017 and thankfully just before the end of the year I FINALLY FINISHED IT and guess what? I’m currently replaying it! Who would have guessed then, eh? This was definitely the game of the year for me and for anyone who knows me, they know how obsessed I have grown for this game and how much more I want from it. Since buying and playing Persona 5, I have since bought and downloaded Persona 4: Golden as well as Persona 4: Dancing All Night. I equally can’t wait for Persona 3: Dancing Moon Night and especially for Persona 5: Dancing Star Night. I really want to review Persona 5 at some point but I’m crap at writing game reviews, I just want to write over and over how much I love it and that’s it. πŸ˜›

  • Kimi No Na Wa/Your Name Anime.

This film had to be the most popular anime film that came out in 2017 and it is clear why. It was a gorgeous film both visually as well as the story line and as soon as me and Dane got the chance to go and watch it, we took it with both hands. I loved the film so much so when Dane’s parents bought me it on Blu-ray I was thrilled! For my birthday a couple of days ago we got some takeaway Japanese food and popped this on the TV to watch. I forgot how much I loved it and this time we watched it in subbed, we watched dubbed at the cinema. I much prefer it in dubbed. πŸ˜› If you haven’t watched this film but love anime, GET ON IT!

  • South Park: The Fractured But Whole on PlayStation 4.

Although I was super excited for this game Persona 5 was the one that stole my heart in 2017. However, this game really holds a place in my heart for various different reasons. I love South Park and have done since it came out in the UK back in the 90’s. It was on Comedy Central as well as on Channel 4 late at night and it was my mom who introduced me to the show. Me and my cousins would stay up late to watch them together and if we never managed to, my aunt would record them for us to watch over the weekend. It was amazing! So when they announced a second game I was super excited! I grew pissed off though at the constant push backs of the release but eventually it stuck and before I knew it it was in my hands and then in my console being played. I finished it not long before Christmas and oh man, what a game! It was definitely different from The Stick Of Truth and I actually think I preferred it due to the story. I’m not saying anything but I wasn’t expecting what happened. This is another game I would love to review, but I’d be dire at it. πŸ˜›

  • American Horror Story TV Series.

Me and Dane started watching this in 2017 and oh man I love it so much, even though we’re very slow on continuing with it at the moment. Series 1 is by far my favourite one to date and the show is just so good. It pulls you in and yet keeps you on the edge of your seat all the same. The acting in it is incredible, especially by Evan Peters who I have fallen in love with thanks to the show, as well as his role of Tate. I can’t wait to continue watching the TV series in 2018.

  • A Silent Voice Manga.

This was by far one of my favourite manga to read this year, as well as one of my favourite anime movies alongside Kimi No Na Wa/Your Name. The manga just shouted out more to me and I found I enjoyed it that little more as you get more about the story from it, as well as learn more about the characters after the film ends. If you loved the anime, I recommend you go and read the manga as it’s so good!

So those are all my picks for my 2017 favourites! I could have picked so many more things, but I thought keeping it to a top 5 was for the best. πŸ˜›

What were your favourite things throughout 2017? Make sure to let me know in the comments down below!

Until next time, take care all and I hope you had a lovely weekend.

Christmas Wish List To Father Christmas – Now & Then

This is the post I mentioned at the start of the month that I was looking forward to doing! I decided that for this year I wouldn’t just do my normal Christmas wish list at the start of December and decided that I would do it on Christmas Eve as a sort of, “Father Christmas I’ve been good please bring me this and that and that!”

But I then changed my mind and had an even better idea! I decided as well as doing my Christmas wish list for this year, I would do one as I would have when I was 7 years old! The nostalgic feels will be all over the start of this post and I really hope you guys enjoy reading it, as much as I had putting it all together!

  • Happy Monday Store INU INU T-Shirt – Β£15.23 (link)

I discovered this brand through a girl on Instagram who is all Japanese themed. Basically into the shizzle I’m into! She got sent this t-shirt and I fell in love with it! It’s got a cute little shiba on it, but he’s getting his face squished and pulled and AHH SO DAMN CUTE! I’m really hoping that Dane has bought me this for Christmas, otherwise I’ll be ordering it after my birthday. πŸ˜›

  • Firebox My Neighbour Slippers – Β£29.99 (link)

I’m always down with anything that will help me feel all warm and snuggly in my own home! I live for putting my pajamas and slippers on as soon as I get home from work, and who can go wrong with wearing Totoro slippers?! These look so amazing and they’re not cheap, no but come on… They’re Studio Ghibli, they aren’t going to be! πŸ˜›

  • Good Smile Company Nendoroid Yuri!!! On Ice Yuri KatsukiΒ – Β£44.95 (link)

I didn’t have a clue what Nendoroid to add to my Christmas wish list, but I thought Yuri Katsuki from Yuri!!! On Ice would be a good one to add for sure. This is a Nendoroid I really hope Dane has bought me for Christmas he’s gorgeous and I really want to get him and Viktor to put with our collection. Any other Nendoroid’s I want are probably really old and very rare ones. In all fairness though, I don’t care which Nendoroid(s) I get from Dane for Christmas, I’ll be happy with any!

  • Your Name Manga Vol. 2 – Β£7.98 (link)
  • Your Name Collector’s Edition Steelbook Blu-ray – Β£24.99 (link)

I LOVED Your Name so much when me and Dane went to watch it in the cinema so I would love to not only get the collector’s edition blu-ray for Christmas, but I really want volume 2 of the manga to read! I picked up volume 1 in the summer when it came out and it’s so good. If you loved the anime, then you will probably love the manga even more! I also really want the Your Name Nendoroid’s too! πŸ˜›

  • Pokemon Indigo League Season 1 Blu-ray – Β£49.99 (link)

As regular readers will know (or anyone to be fair…) I am a MASSIVE Pokemon fan and I remember back in the day waking up early to catch the weeks episode of Pokemon on SM:TV Live. Earlier this year I binge watched all of the episodes of Pokemon Indigo League on Netflix. When I saw that this was coming out, I was super excited and it was one of the first items added to my Christmas wish list! I really hope I get this so me and Dane can binge watch it whilst I’m off work over Christmas.

  • Your Lie In April Part 2 Blu-ray – Β£41.09 (link)

This is an anime I fell in love with this time last year. Dane bought me part 1 on blu-ray for my birthday this year and back in April part 2 came out. it’s a limited edition set and of course I NEED part 2 to add to my collection. Again, I hope I get this so me and Dane can watch it all together. I haven’t actually finished watching this anime, but I’ve read all of the manga. It’s amazing but really quite sad.

  • A Silent Voice Blu-ray – Β£29.99 (link)

ANOTHER ANIME BLU-RAY! Oh man, I’m so sorry! πŸ˜› I had so many blu-rays on my wish list, all anime related! This was my favourite film of this year and is one I was so stoked to go and see and I left the cinema feeling great. I bought the whole manga series after and read them all so quickly. Again, it’s by far one of my favourite manga series as well as anime films. Dane recently wanted to watch this again in dubbed, as we saw it subbed in the cinema. A part of me hopes I have the collectors edition of this for Christmas. I can see me binge watching this loads if I get it.

  • Pokemon Center Vulpix’s Crystal Season Purse/Wallet – Β£37.99 (link)

This is a wallet I regret not asking YY Kawaii to pick up from Japan for me back in October when she was out there! I got one thing from that collection, that being a notebook. This wallet is so damn cute and I could imagine it getting just as much attention as my Loungefly Pokemon handbag. I doubt very much that I’ll get this for Christmas and with that I doubt I’d be missing out. πŸ˜›

  • Studio Ghibli Spirited Away Haku Chopsticks – Β£10.78 (link)

I LOVE using chopsticks and whenever I get the chance to use them, I do. I have 2 pairs my friend Sophi (HEY! :D) gifted me over the past couple of years and they’re amazing! When Dane asked me to look for some little present ideas, I found these Haku chopsticks. Haku makes me happy, merch especially, as well as artwork so I would be so stoked to use chopsticks with him on too!

  • Studio Ghibli Spirited Away No Face Sweater – Β£24.99 (link)

Another Studio Ghibli item, but whatever! πŸ˜› Truffle Shuffle are really on it right now with the Studio Ghibli merch and this and the Totoro sweater they’ve brought out are amazing. I would love this to snuggle up in with shorts and my Docs! I’d love them to bring out a Haku one but I doubt they will. If I got this I’d totally wear it for New Years Eve!

  • Lush The Man On The Moon Gift Set – Β£44.95 (link)

Finally we have my last Christmas wish list item on here and of course it has to be a bit of Lush! πŸ˜› Dane asks me every year to find a gift set or two from Lush that I like the look of, one for him to possibly get and one for his parents to possibly get. I linked quite a few for him and sadly this isn’t one he would accept due to the price. BUT it’s the one I actually really, REALLY loved and wanted! First of all I love the re-usable tin, as well as all the night time themed products inside, which I’d love to use on pamper evenings and weekends. It also contains quite a lot of items I’ve never tried before either! If I don’t get this for Christmas I’ll try and get some in the Boxing Day sale.

Now that I’ve done my actual wish list for “Father Christmas” this year (Father Christmas being Dane pretty much! :P) it’s time to go back in time to what I would have asked for Christmas 20 years ago when I was seven years old. πŸ™‚

Just a little disclaimer though, I don’t think all of these came out in 1997, some may be 1996 and later but meh I remember receiving these over Christmas… You get the idea! πŸ˜›

  • Loveable Bears.

These were cute little bear keyrings that came in different colours and scents! I can’t remember which I had to be honest, I have a feeling I had mint and strawberry. I know I had 2! They came with little bottles and if they cried you would feed them. They were like little Tamagotchi’s and were so adorable and fun to have on your backpack. Not so fun and adorable if they cried though!

  • Barbie & Ginger Doll.

This was one of my favourite Barbie’s, for so many reasons. First of all, look how cute and fluffy Barbie’s golden retriever Ginger looks! Second of all, it moves and third of all Barbie rides a skateboard, which Ginger helps her to achieve. As a kid this was just all kinds of wonderful to me and I remember playing with it all Christmas Day and onwards.

  • Doodle Bear Pets.

I remember getting a Doodle Bear when they first came out and I loved writing and drawing all over it, only for my mom to wash it so I could have myself a blank canvas all over again. I remember seeing the Doodle Bear Dog and I pleaded with Father Christmas to get it for me, which he obviously did! πŸ˜› I never drew on it though to be honest, I loved it too much to be honest to, “ruin” it.

  • Pocahontas Braided Beauty Doll.

This was definitely one of my favourite dolls, EVER! The first film I saw in the cinema was Pocahontas and I was in love with that film, and it’s still one of my favourite Disney films to date, especially my favourite Disney Princess. I never even knew this doll existed until Father Christmas gave it to me. I was in love! Not only did it come with a Pocahontas doll, but of course it also came with a Meeko who would braid yours and her hair. What else could a girl ask for? πŸ˜›

  • Baby Born Doll.

This was one of the baby dolls that really opened up the market for the future of dolls like this. It would eat the “baby food” you gave it and poop it out, pee the “milk” you would feed it and even cry “real tears”! It was a hit with kids alike and I was so excited to open mine on Christmas Day! That doll really did last ages and I loved it so much. Due to it peeing and pooping so much you would constantly have to put nappies on it to catch all of that, or at least some washable type knickers. Mine broke after a couple of years and the water you could give it as “milk” would leak out of it’s arm and leg joints. I loved that doll though, so damn much!

  • Home Alone Talkboy.

Finally we have the one toy every kid wanted, as well as teenagers at the time I’m sure! I remember being gifted one of these after 1997 (I think anyway…) but I just had to mention it here! I remember watching Home Alone 2 and not really thinking, “oh man I want that recording thing he has!” but when I got one I loved it! I didn’t realise until researching the toys to add to this post that this was actually made because it was in Home Alone 2! It wasn’t a toy until after that movie, how cool is that?! It was just a prop and because loads of fans asked about it, they made it. What legends!

Oh man I have to be honest and say this is one of my favourite posts I’ve done in a long time, purely because of remembering some of my favourite toys from Christmases years ago. I can’t believe I was seven 20 years ago! That makes me feel hella old. πŸ˜›

Well it’s Christmas Eve, I hope you’re all ready for tomorrow to spend a lovely day with your loved ones. I hope if you have children they get everything they wanted and wished for from Father Christmas.

But I’ve said it many times over the years and I’ll say it again, don’t forget that Christmas isn’t a time that everyone is happy. It’s also one the worst days of the year for people with mental health. If you know someone who needs support this time of year, please support them if you can. If you’re someone who isn’t feeling their best Christmas Day, please seek support, whether it be from friends and family, or even Samaritans. I’ve been depressed over the Christmas period and it’s really crippling, especially when it’s that time of year when you’re meant to be “okay”.

I’ll leave all the links and numbers down below for anyone who needs to reach out and get support this Christmas. Also, if you ever need someone to talk to, I’m always willing to listen and support. You can find me over @maybeecoffee on Twitter.

November Wish List ’17

Only this wish list now and the next two will be Christmas and birthday ones, how crazy is that?! I’m actually a mixture of excited and bleh about Christmas at the moment and sadly this is due to money issues. That being said due to that this months wish list is going to be full of stuff I won’t be buying… BOO YOU WHORE!

Due to this, this months list isn’t a big one either and I actually really struggled with putting it together. I honestly wish I had money… 😦

  • Yuri!!! On Ice Logo Cardigan – Β£41.99, currently Β£24.99 (link)

I eyed up this cardigan on Crunchyroll ages ago but I didn’t quite like the price of it, but recently I saw it for sale on EMP and not only would it work out cheaper due to no import charges, but also it’s on sale at the moment which is always a good thing! I nearly bought this a couple of weeks ago but left it due to lack of monies. I love Yuri!!! On Ice, it’s such a heartwarming and lovely anime so it’d be lovely to own a piece of merchandise from the anime. I especially love the little pork cutlet bowl on the bottom of it. They would be great for layering up during the winter months!

  • Kat Von D Sinner’ Lipstick & Fragrance Travel Duo – Β£24.00, currently Β£21.60 (link)

I’ve been after the Sinner liquid lipstick shade by Kat Von D as it’s a gorgeous dark purple shade but I don’t know if it’ll come out as it’s own shade, or if it’ll always be a little limited edition style shade that comes in this travel duo. I’m not massively after this set, just the liquid lipstick so I wouldn’t want to pay nearly Β£25.00 for it.

  • Ohayou Clothing! Sweet ‘Vee T-Shirt – Β£17.99 (link)

I love Ohayou Clothing! they’re definitely my favourite independent store right now and one I recently picked up a new varsity jacket from! It has a cute Umbreon on, which just makes me really happy. So when Chrissy came out with this kawaii Eevee design I just fell in love with it! She’s so adorable playing with her 3DS and eating Pocky! I’d love this design on a sweater instead, but I feel like this tee would have a lovely relaxed feel to it and would work perfect with leggings or tucked into a skirt.

  • Bershka Oversized Kurt Cobain Sweatshirt – Β£29.99 (link)

I saw this sweatshirt when I was in Fuerteventura and immediately fell in love with it! I didn’t buy it due to how heavy it was and also the fact that I could pick it up in the UK for the exact same price. It’d be great to wear with thick tights in the colder months and Dr Martens boots or even brothel creepers. I’d love to pick this up before my birthday to wear for then, but I may try and wait to pick it up in any sales… Β£30.00 is a decent price, but of course if I can get it cheaper, I’ll damn well try! πŸ˜›

  • Elodie The Unicorn Ramen Bowl – Β£24.99 (link)

When I saw that Firebox was stocking this ramen bowl I was seriously overjoyed! This bowl is by SmokoΒ a company whose designs are so adorable and I would honestly buy them all if I could afford it! πŸ˜› I remember eyeing up this bowl on their recent Kickstarter campaign, but due to how expensive it was going to cost me to buy AND ship the item(s) I wanted to back I left it. Now that Firebox is stocking it I know for a fact now that I can pick it up without worrying about paying loads of shipping as well as import! I love ramen and although I prefer to cook it “properly” it would be nice to have a cute little unicorn to eat it out of. πŸ˜›

  • Loungefly x Pokemon Eevee Mini Backpack – $78.00 AUS (link)

The final item on this list is the one I REALLY want but it is literally impossible to get right now… Not even due to money but because it would appear it’s an Australia exclusive… WHICH SUCKS! It’s hard enough being able to get hold of the Loungefly x Pokemon merchandise as it is, without making it even HARDER! So the only way I would get hold of this bag is by someone in Australia buying and shipping it over forΒ  me… Which sadly won’t ever happen! It’s just an adorable little backpack in a mint green shade, which is covered in little Eevee’s! I love the Eeveelutions so you can’t really go wrong with this backpack if you’re a Pokemon fan!

So those are my wish list items for this month! I know it’s nothing exciting, but to be honest most of the stuff I want I’ve either spoken about or I’ve popped on my Christmas wish list for Dane… He’s my personal Father Christmas! πŸ˜€

What items do you have on your wish lists this month? Make sure to let me know in the comments down below.

Until next time, take care all and I hope you have a lovely weekend!

Halloween Tag 2017

I swear if Sarah over at Raiin-Monkey had a super power it would be to read minds, as she certainly read mine recently! A few days ago she tagged me to take part in the Halloween tag that she’d recently done herself. I wanted to have a go at a Halloween tag again this year, so I thought HELL YEAH I’LL DO THAT! πŸ˜› You can read Sarah’s answers on her post here.

It’s officially Halloween today and although I didn’t go out for Halloween this year, I’m staying in on my own watching some horror movies and giving out sweeties to trick or treaters. Me and Dane have decorated the house this year for the first time and it certainly won’t be the last!

So without further ado let’s get onto the tag questions!

Image taken from weheartit.com

(1) What’s your favourite horror or Halloween-themed song?

If anything probably “Thriller” by Michael Jackson as I just always remember it being on during nights out, as well as on a radio show I used to listen to when I was younger (KERRANG! RADIO’s Tim Shaw’s Asylum was my holy grail growing up!). Can “Dragula” by Rob Zombie count as well? πŸ˜›

(2) Name something you wouldn’t want to run into in a dark forest or abandoned building.

The Alien! It’s definitely one of the things that still gives me nightmares to this days. If I ever watch the Alien movies I am guaranteed to not sleep for a week.

(3) Have you ever played with a Ouija Board?

Never and I don’t intend to either… I remember when me and my cousins were younger we discussed the idea but it never happened, thank God.

(4) Favourite horror monster or villain?

Ooo I don’t know really to be honest… I legit have had to Google because I can’t think of any! xD Seth Brundle from The Fly came up on a list I found and he’s not my favourite, but he’s one of the creepiest for sure. Jigsaw from the Saw films is always a good choice too! I didn’t really class it as a horror (but some people do) but Annie Wilkes from Misery would probably be my favourite to be honest!

Image taken from weheartit.com

(5) What’s the creepiest thing that’s ever happened while you were alone?

Years ago not long after my aunt died and before her funeral our house didn’t feel quite right. It was freezing cold whatever room I was in, doors were creaking open and slamming shut on their own and something just felt off. It was after the funeral that all these things stopped and it wasn’t as cold in each room anymore. I’m sure it’s nothing to do with ghosts etc, but it was definitely odd at the time.

(6) If you were dared to spend the night in a ‘haunted house’, would you do it?

Fuck no! I like my sleep. πŸ˜›

(7) Are you superstitious?

I am sometimes, it depends really. I believe that bad things come in threes, I don’t cross people on stairs (in a house mainly), groups of black crows make me think about death being on the way and so many more things I could think of!

(8) Do you ever see figures in your peripheral vision?

I probably have when I’ve felt anxious or paranoid but otherwise not really…

(9) Which urban legend scares you the most?

I don’t really have any in all honesty… At least none I can think of anyway. If anything has ever creeped me out it’s probably been like creepy shit Dane has told me he’s read about on Reddit.

Image taken from weheartit.com

(10) Do you prefer gore or thrillers?

Thrillers usually to be honest. Gore is good, but I love a good thrill. πŸ˜‰

(11) Do you believe in multiple dimensions or worlds?

Not really to be honest… I like to just focus on one dimension and world at a time. πŸ˜›

(12) Ever made a potion of any sort?

No, although I remember looking at the articles in Mizz magazine as a teenager and remembering all the jokey sort of potions you could do! I remember trying one where you would pull a hair from your head, write the name down of the boy you wanted to have fall in love with you, put them both in an envelope and say some words on it and it would “come true”… NAHHHH IT NEVER CAME TRUE!

(13) Do you get scared easily?

Oh God yes! I have anxiety so I get uptight, worried and scared over silly little things.

(14) Have you ever played Bloody Mary?

Never… What is it? *Googles* NAHHHH NOT DOING THAT! xD

Image taken from weheartit.com

(15) Do you believe in demons/the devil?

I don’t know to be honest… I don’t think I do really.

(16) You’re home alone but you hear footsteps in your house, what do you do?

Scream and probably die of a heart attack. πŸ˜› Nah I joke! I’d probably freeze wherever I am in the house, listen a little more and then maybe go and check it out… Probably stop off at the kitchen on the way and grab the biggest knife I own. πŸ˜›

(17) If you got trapped in one scary movie, which would you choose?

Erm I’m not sure… I said Saw but no way would I want to be in that franchise! xD I’d want to be in Scary Movie because it’s all jokes. πŸ˜›

(18) If you could only wear one Halloween costume for the rest of your life, what would you be?

Definitely Alex DeLarge from A Clockwork Orange! It’s by far been my favourite Halloween costume of all time! πŸ˜›

(19) Would you ever go to a graveyard at night?

No and not because I’d be frightened as to what could happen, but more because that’s just gothic and creepy! πŸ˜›

Image taken from weheartit.com

(20) In a zombie apocalypse, what is your weapon of choice?

I was going to say a baseball bat, but I don’t have one of those to hand… So I’d probably grab one of our bass guitars or my camera tripod.

(21) Would you rather go to a Halloween party or go trick or treating?

Definitely a Halloween party! I only ever went trick or treating once as a kid and I hated it to be honest, purely for the fact I felt like I was being so cheeky asking for sweets from a stranger. If me and Dane ever have a kid/children I’d want to hold an awesome Halloween party for them and their friends and hold a competition for the best costume etc. I love Halloween!

(22) You’re in a horror movie. Are you the final girl, the first to die, the comic relief, the skeptic, the smart one, or the killer?

Ooo I love villains so I’d definitely want to be the killer! πŸ˜›

(23) Do you have to watch something happy after watching a horror movie so you can go to sleep?

Not really, unless it’s an Alien movie. Then I need to watch puppy videos… Lots of puppy videos! πŸ˜›

(24) Whilst watching scary movies, are you the person who yells at the characters, the person with their eyes covered the whole time, or the person who falls asleep?

Oh I am for sure the one who yells at the characters! Watching the last couple of episodes of Stranger Things season 2 I just kept screaming at the characters! It was making Dane laugh loads. πŸ˜›

Image taken from weheartit.com

(25) Are you the one who gets scared, or the one who does the scaring?

I’m more so the one who gets scared, but depending on the situation I can do the scaring too. πŸ˜›

(26) Favourite scary book?

I can’t say I’ve ever read a scary book…

(27) How old were you when you saw your first horror movie?

HA! I was 6 years old funnily enough. I remember waking up due to noise downstairs so ventured down to see what was happening. My parents had the original Alien film on and my mom said, “come sit and watch this, it’s ever so funny!” and thinking it would be I sat, watched and waited for the funny moment to come on. She was referring to the chest bursting scene, which scared the crap out of me! I didn’t sleep for a week and since then whenever I watch Alien movies I don’t sleep properly and get night terrors. My mom scarred me! πŸ˜›

(28) What was your first Halloween costume?

Probably a bat, I loved them growing up. πŸ˜›

(29) What are you going to be for Halloween this year?

A disgusting late twenties mess of a coach potato. πŸ˜›

Image taken from weheartit.com

(30) If you could have a spooky Halloween pet (black cat, owl, bat, rat, wolf), what would you pick?

Oh my if I could have a wolf I would love it! A bat would also be amazing to be honest. I’d feel like some sort of evil villain with those two by my side. πŸ˜›

So that’s the Halloween tag! I have to be honest I really enjoyed doing this one as there were loads of questions that I’ve never answered before!

A massive thank you to Sarah for tagging me to take part in the tag, I really needed to do something like this to give me that nudge to do work on my blog. My mental health hasn’t been too great the past week so it’s been lovely to have this as a way to encourage me slowly back into writing on here.

I tag everyone who reads this tag post to have a go yourself.

Until next time, take care all and have a spooky Halloween!

Autumn Tag 2017

Image taken from weheartit.com

Another year, another autumn tag!

Just want to say first of all, HELLO! I feel like I haven’t been around for forever, when it’s only been about 3 weeks. As many will know I just got back (early hours of Thursday) from a 2 week holiday in Fuerteventura. It was amazing and to be honest I just felt like I’d gone home (which I kind of did tbf seeing as I’ve been there for more times than I can count and have a house there…) and had time off of work etc.

I’ll be writing LOADS of posts Fuerteventura related over the next couple of weeks so keep your eyes peeled for those! For now however I need to get an autumn related post out there. Autumn started whilst I was on holiday and Thursday morning when me and Dane went out for a very naughty McDonald’s breakfast I noticed that autumn well and truly started whilst we were gone.

Every year I do a post with an autumn tag, and this year is no different from the rest. I hope you enjoy this one, I’ve tried to find one that isn’t an exact replica of previous years. πŸ™‚

This tag is floating around everywhere to be honest but I found this one through Lotte’s Beauty Box, so please make sure to go and check out her answers!

Quick disclaimer… The use of both the terms Autumn and Fall kept chopping and changing throughout this tag and whilst I didn’t notice it, Dane did as he was sat next to me. His point about fall being an American term for autumn and the chopping and changing of the two was very accurate… So I changed Fall to Autumn. Got to be British and accurate/correct, right? πŸ˜›

Image taken from weheartit.com

1. What signifies the start of Autumn for you?

When the leaves start to change in colour. I just love the yellow, orange and brown colours of autumn so much and it’s when the leaves go this colour that I know I can start saying we’re in autumn territory.

2. What is your favourite Autumn scent?

I always forgot about how much I love it but La Petite Robe Noire by Guerlain is definitely one I love to wear as the weather gets colder. Since the day I first smelt it it has always reminded me of Lush’s discontinued Space Girl bath bomb. It has a warm blackcurrant/blackberry type scent which I love. I’ve owned this for ages and it’s still lasting so well! As soon as it runs out I’ll definitely be buying a new one!

3. What is your favourite Autumn colour?

Mustard yellow and burgundy. Always have been and always will be! Which in turn reminds me that I need to get a new mustard yellow jumper. I’ve seen one in Zara which I’ll be picking up very soon. My previous one was from there and it was so damn comfortable!

4. What is your favourite Autumn drink?

I’m always down for hot drinks… But I wouldn’t say I’m much of an autumn drink gal. I’m more of a winter hot drink person. If I could pick anything thought it’d definitely be something salted caramel related! I can’t remember when BUT I do remember Starbucks bringing out a burnt salted caramel latte and it was amazing. I wish they would make it permanent. 😦

5. What TV show, new or old, are you looking forward to this Autumn?

I’m definitely excited for Stranger Things 2 to come out! I’m also really excited to continue to binge watch American Horror Story with Dane. Now we’re back from holiday we’ll be starting on season 3 very soon… AKA later on today. I’m also loving that seasons 21 of South Park has kicked off, as well as the new season of British Bake Off, which I am loving this year.

6. What is your favourite Autumn fashion trend?

It’s got to be Dr Martens boots and sweaters with prints of my favourite things on! I’m really after a new pair of Docs this year and I’m forever after new sweaters! πŸ˜› I bought a new one whilst I was in Fuerteventura (which I’ll be showing in a haul VERY SOON!) and I’ve seen a sweater dress from Bershka that I’m going to buy soon too.

7. What is your favourite frugal Autumn activity?

I don’t really have one to be honest… BUT since being on holiday I want to go for walks with Dane in the countryside. We did loads of walking when we were away and if there’s a season I want to do this with, it’s autumn.

8. What is your favourite makeup look come autumnal weather?

As I only wear lipstick, a gorgeous dark and vampy look is always a good look no matter what! I’ve bought a new dark purple recently by Barry M (which I’ll be reviewing soon!) and it looks stunning, especially for autumn.

So that was the autumn tag! I’m so damn excited to be at home as it’s started to kick off. I never had it when I lived at home, but in my own home me and Dane have the best autumnal view in our front room, which I love more than anything.

I tag whoever loves autumn to take part in this! So… That’s practically everyone then. πŸ˜›

Until next time, take care all and have a lovely Sunday.

September Favourites ’17

I’m currently on holiday when this post will go live on my blog and although I’ve only really been in the UK for just over 2 weeks for the month of September, I can still write what products I loved throughout that time… Right? πŸ˜›

I do apologise for poor image quality… I took this the night before we left and was rushing to get so much done. 😦

  • Garnier PureActive Intensive 3in1 Charcoal Anti-Blackhead.

This is a product I bought on a whim. I love any facial cleansing products that contain charcoal, as it’s great for oily skin and can really help pull any crap out of your pores. As the title suggests this is a 3in1 product which means you can use it as a facial wash, scrub and as a mask. This isn’t the BEST product in the world but it’s done some wonders for my skin so far! It’s not as scrubby as I was hoping it would be, but my skin has been having some sensitive days recently so this has really helped when I want to use a scrub but nothing too harsh. I definitely recommend giving this a go! I haven’t tried it as a mask to be honest, but it’s an amazing facial wash for sure.

  • Lush Sugar Plum Fairy Lip Tint.

This is my tube of Sugar Plum Fairy lip tint from last Christmas and it’s a lip product I randomly just started using again this month. I think with all the excitement of the Lush Creative Showcase and the Christmas goodies of 2017 being announced, it jogged my memory of this lip tint. It smells amazing, leaves a lovely magenta pink shade on my lips and moisturises at the same time! I’ll definitely be buying more Lush lip tints this year, including Black Rose for Halloween and Santa Baby for Christmas.

  • Paco Rabanne Lady Million EDP.

I’ve owned for a while and when I was first given it by my mom (it was originally a gift she had been given but didn’t like it, so gave it to me! :P) and at first I REALLY hated it, but after using it for a while I’ve grown to love it. The scent reminds me of Yankee Candle’s Fluffy Towels scent and I love it so much. I feel fresh and clean when I wear it and whilst ages ago I couldn’t wait to get rid of it, I now want to buy a new bottle as soon as it runs out. For ages it was my go to scent for work, which to be honest it was for the 2 weeks of September.

  • Mandarin Spa Amber Heaven Gentle Hand Wash.

My mom recently gave me this hand wash after noticing I was running low on hand wash in my bathroom. I had a back up ready to pop next to the sink, but how cute is that??? When I lived at home I would often use this hand wash if either me or my mom had bought any. I love the scent of this hand wash so much as it smells so posh! I can’t really describe how it smells to be honest… Sort of musky but a floral musk… If that makes sense? Even though I really like this hand wash at the moment, I do have a hate/love relationship with this stuff. Before now this hand wash has flared up my eczema and I don’t really know why. I has flared up slightly the past month BUT it hasn’t been as bad as it has been in the past.

  • Dove Pistachio and Magnolia Shower Foam.

Whilst I love this shower foam, I highly doubt I’ll be buying it again unless it’s on a special offer. I picked this up in Boots for Β£2.00 and even then I think this was expensive, FYI it’s usually Β£2.99. There are three different ones you can pick but I love pistachios so I had to pick this one. I have found that this softens my skin after use and will leave me smelling yummy for a while after use, but I just feel like you have to use loads of it to get a good lather going in a sponge or shower scrunch and that in itself is a con for me. This being said this was something new and fun to try and due to the scent I picked it’s also lovely to use as we go into the colder months. The pistachio has a lovely warming scent to it. As I said, when this is on offer again I’ll definitely pick one up!

So now my beauty favourites are done, time to talk about the miscellaneous favourites of the month!

Favourite TV Show – American Horror Story.

First of all, I know I don’t usually include 2 images when talking about my non beauty favourites, but I had to for this. I just want to get this out there that 1. I have a new favourite actor – Evan Peters and 2. The way he acted when playing Tate in season 1 of AHS was amazing and beautiful. I love the first gif I attached but the second one, oh my! Whenever he cried in that season I just wanted to cry with him. He’s one of those actors who nails crying scenes perfectly and those are some of my favourite to watch. Due to studying acting (as well as writing scripts) I love when an actor can be emotional and he’s just perfect at it (and may I add a perfect human being? :P).

ANYWAY… American Horror Story! Me and Dane have heard loads of good things about this, including from his own parents and we’re a little late onto the AHS wagon but it’s better to be late than never at all, eh? We are currently halfway through season 2 and we are loving it. I loved season 1 so much and his parents both said it’s their favourite to date! I have a feeling it’ll be mine too. If you don’t know much about AHS, every season pretty much has the same actors/actresses but each season has a different story behind it. BUT they’re all supernatural themed. They’re currently all on Netflix so I recommend going to watch it if you haven’t already. To be honest I’m really excited to see more of Evan Peters acting. He’s amazing. :’)

Favourite Film – The Girl On The Train.

This was recently on Amazon Prime to watch and I had heard SO MUCH about both the book when it came out, as well as the film. I wanted to watch it in the cinema but Dane wasn’t keen for it at the time. I’m glad I waited to watch it in the comfort of our own home but bloody hell, it’s good! I haven’t read the book so I can’t compare that to the film but even if you haven’t read the book like myself then I recommend you give it a watch. It definitely reminded me of Gone Girl, but in a different way.

Image taken fromΒ readeroffictions.com

Favourite Book – Erm…

Yeah I’m shit. I haven’t been reading anything AGAIN! To be honest I’ve been saving all my reading for my holiday. I do have shit loads of reading to catch up on though. I have all the K-ON! manga to catch up on, as well as many other manga books. I also have normal books to read and intend on taking 2 Bridget Jones books with me on holiday (as you’ve probably guessed I’m writing this JUST before I go on holiday…) as well as some manga, but we shall see. I’m sure I’ll do a post about what books I took at some point.

Favourite Song/Album – Porter Robinson & Madeon – Shelter and Rihanna – Te Amo.

These are both songs I discovered this month and ones I know I’ll continue to listen to loads, especially during and even after my holiday. Shelter was brought to my attention by Dane who mentioned that someone had used an anime in their music video. It’s an amazing song and the anime music video that accompanies it is lovely and sad all the same.

As well as that I also discovered this Rihanna song thanks to a beauty video on Instagram. I didn’t know of this songs existence, even though it’s been around for just over 7 years now. Bloody hell! I know my usual music genre tastes are in rock music as well as some electronic but I do have a soft spot for Rihanna. She just writes some catchy as fuck tracks and this is one.

Favourite Game – Life Is Strange: Before The Storm.

I completed this game in a day (including unlocking all the specials in each level of the episode) and I loved it, but at the same time I’m unsure what to think right now. I will elaborate without giving away any spoilers! This is a prequel to Life Is Strange where you play as Chloe, sadly she doesn’t have Max’s power but she has her own speciality. In this game you get to find out what happens with Rachel including how her and Chloe become friends and what happens before Max comes into the picture and Rachel goes missing. You get to be a little more rebellious with Chloe than you ever could be with Max and whilst I like this, I do find that both Chloe and Rachel are bratty. I’m not the only one who thought this either. THIS BEING SAID I can’t really say they’re acting bratty when Chloe’s dad recently died and Rachel has some stuff going on herself, which you find out about somewhat in the first episode. Overall it was really fun to play and I already can’t wait for episode 2 to come out soon! I bought the limited edition bundle so that I can get the bonus Max level, as well as all the episodes for Before The Storm.

So those are my favourites from the 2 weeks I was in the UK in September! It went by really quick and I already can’t believe I’m going away in just a couple of days (as I write this) and I’ll be back in 3 days when this post goes live on my blog (FYI hello future Nat! :P)

What were your favourites throughout September? Make sure to let me know in the comments down below!

Until next time all, take care! I hope you’re all well, I miss all my lovely readers! :’)

Lush Halloween & Christmas 2017

Wow I can’t believe it. The Lush Creative Showcase has come and gone and I still regret not booking a ticket and going… Next time I will for sure!

It’s only September and Lush have not only announced what will be up for grabs this Halloween and Christmas, BUT they’ve released all the goodies online for us to buy NOW. Erm, what?!

I just want to get this out here that I am super pissed off about so many products that haven’t made a return. The main one being So White bath bomb, a bath bomb I have bought at least once every year since its release in 2009. FYI this was my favourite year for Lush Christmas as it had some of the best releases in my mind. Most of them are now shitty Lush Kitchen exclusives…

As well as that Lush hasn’t brought back Father Christmas bath bomb (Snow Fairy scented), Stardust bath bomb (was an amazing price and smelt amazing), Reindeer & Robin fun (cola scented), Santasaurus re-useable bubble bar (which I REALLY wanted to try last year and never got to!) and Peeping Santa bubble bar (strawberry scented). I’m sure there’s more I could think of as well! Either way I’m mostly disappointed that Yog Nog has COMPLETELY gone. What the fuck Lush?! :S Disappointed is not the word.

I also want to get this out there that I think Lush have REALLY put their prices up lately and it’s also very disappointing. Nearly Β£5.00 for a bath bomb?! For a few years now I’ve had a serious love/hate relationship with Lush and it’s usually due to their prices. I remember when I could walk into Lush and buy 2 bags of goodies for Β£30.00. Not those 2 bags would cost me near to Β£100.00. I seem to only really buy Lush when the Boxing Day sale hits, which is a shame. It really does say something about me… and I don’t care! If I can stock up on Lush products to last me the whole year then why the hell not?! I’ll be doing that again this year for sure.

ANYWAY! Instead of being gloomy about amazing Christmas exclusives that have come and gone, I wanted to share with you guys today about what I’m excited to pick up throughout the rest of the year from Lush!

Also! I will only be talking in depth about products that are new or ones that are coming back from the previous year(s) that I haven’t yet tried… So are technically still new to me! πŸ˜›

First I’ll start with Halloween products.

  • Monsters Ball bath bomb – Β£4.50 (link)

This little cutie is returning for a second year and due to not being able to try him last year, I’m really pleased for him to be back! He smells of lime Fruit Pastilles and come on, just look at him! He’s a little cutie, for a monster. I’ll definitely be buying a couple of him this year when I get back from holiday to try out. Lush seem to see lime scented things as their sort of Halloween signature fragrance, which to me isn’t very “spooky” but I’m not complaining! πŸ˜›

  • Bewitched bubble bar – Β£4.25 (link)

This is a newbie to the Halloween collection this year and one that I like the sound of! Alongside the lime scent, Lush always have something blackcurrant scented too. I’m not complaining! πŸ˜› This bubble bar looks and sounds really nice so although it’s probably not one I’ll rush out and buy if I smell it and I like it, I might buy one. πŸ˜› From the website it turns your bath water black and sparkly and I’m down for both of those!

  • Black Rose lipstick – Β£6.50 (link)

I’ve used Lush lipsticks and tints in the past and they’re pretty amazing to be honest! I’ve been using my Sugar Plum Fairy lip tint from last year and I forgot how great it is! Due to that I really want to pick this one up! It looks black in the tube but when applied to the lips is a vampy dark raspberry pink shade. Perfect for the colder months! I mostly love how these moisturise as you wear them, which is something I’m always after in a lipstick.

That’s sadly all the Halloween products I’m after this year, which I’m sure my bank balance appreciates!

Now onto the Christmas goodies I want… Bank balance is going to soon be hating me. πŸ˜‰

  • Thundersnow bath bomb – Β£4.50 (link)

When I saw this being spoken about at the showcase I thought I recognised it, but it wasn’t out for Christmas last year so I did a little digging as to where I would have seen it before and discovered that it was actually a limited edition product at the Lush Summit at the start of the year! Crazy, huh? All that time and now it’s out for Christmas. It sounds amazing though. It has peppermint and cocoa butter in so it sounds like it’ll smell of After Eight chocolates. YUM! It also looks really cool, like a disco zebra. πŸ˜›

  • Snow Fairy jelly bomb – Β£4.96 (link)

As many Lush fans will know Lush recently brought out their jelly bombs and they look pretty cool to be honest! I’m not going to be trying it myself however until I need to buy more bath bombs and bubble bars. I still have some bath bombs to use up from last Christmas! I definitely want my first go at them to be Snow Fairy scented though. These are really expensive though at pretty much Β£5 and although I can get 2 baths out of it, I need to consider if I really want to pay that much for ONE bath bomb. I’ll probably wait until the Boxing Day sale to grab this…

  • Sherbet Dip bath bomb – Β£3.75 (link)

This is one that I think is REALLY random for Christmas and to me it just doesn’t scream Christmas at all. If anything it reminds me of the school holidays in the summer and going to the corner shop with your mates to buy sherbet dip and other crappy sweeties. This is from memory the cheapest Christmas bath bombs that Lush has brought out this year and I have wondered if that’s one of the reasons that people have bought it… Either way it sounds really nice and I’d like to give it a go, but I’m not fussed if I miss out on it. It sounds similar to Fizzbanger bath bomb.

  • Plum Snow bubble bar – Β£5.95 (link)

I have to get this off of my chest and say what a cheek I think it is to charge Β£6.00 for a bubble bar. I don’t care how big it is or how many baths you’ll get from it. That’s expensive. I can make my own bubble bars for less and get more… I think. πŸ˜› Either way it’s a fucking shame to be honest because this bubble bar sounds amazing! By the name it obviously shares its scent with Plum Rain shower gel, which I still need to smell! It sounds delicious… Just a shame about the price. I’ll be waiting until Boxing Day to buy this.

  • Man In The Moon bubble bar – Β£5.95 (link)

This is another newbie for Christmas this year and like Sherbet Dip bubble bar, it just doesn’t scream Christmas to me… If anything it could remind me of stories you would have been told Christmas Eve… By the sounds of it it shares its scent with Monsters Ball due to the lime fragrance, which I like the sound of! It’s also funny how they both have one eye each. Can’t go wrong with that!

  • My Two Front Teeth bubble bar – Β£3.95 (link)

Again, what the hell Lush? This is such a random shape for a Christmas product and I don’t get why it’s here! Maybe it was a random toy that someone in the Lush creative team had when they were growing up. If this is the case then why didn’t Lush include a little moustache too??? This sounds lovely scent wise however and would be one I’d pick up if it was as good as it sounds. It contains vanilla and lavender so this would be a lovely bubble bar to use in the evenings, especially for children due to how fun the bubble bar looks too.

  • Christmas Cracker bubble bar – Β£5.95 (link)

This is one I’m unsure if I’ll like or not due to the scent, as it has that citrus lemon and lime smell going on, which Lush seem to be loving this Christmas. BUT they actually have a product out that is Christmassy! This looks like a pretty big bubble bar to be honest but again it’s so damn expensive! I have a feeling it has a bath melt on it as well, but it doesn’t state that. It does however contain popping candy so it’s a fun one for children to use around bonfire night.

  • The Snowman bubbleroon – Β£4.25 (link)

I love bubbleroons so much! I find they’re really soothing for the skin and especially great during the colder months when your skin is feeling dry and needs some serious TLC. I’ve not tried the snowman bubble bars or melts before, but I wouldn’t mind changing that this year. This contains orange to brighten your spirits and soya milk and shea butter to soften your dry skin. This again would be a cute one to give to children to use.

  • Star Light Star Bright bath melt – Β£4.25 (link)

This apparently shares its scent with Golden Wonder bath bomb (which is now my favourite Christmas bath bomb now that they’ve discontinued So White…). It contains lime oil as well as ginger, so I’m not sure what this would smell like. I’m pretty sure this is also a reoccurring product that was around for a few years before 2016. If that’s the case then I know a lot of Lushies will be happy to see this back!

  • Snow Fairy FUN – Β£6.95 (link)

This isn’t a new product and actually came out last year, BUT again it’s a product I never got to try and wanted to. I’ll definitely pick one up this year though, I LOVE the Lush FUN. It’s a multipurpose product but I love mostly using it as a bubble bar, to wash with and surprisingly even to use as a shave gel for my legs. Hey! Why can’t I shave my legs and smell like a fairy at the same time? πŸ˜› This is actually the only FUN Lush have brought out for Christmas this year, which I’m really disappointed about. Again I also sound like a misery BUT I remember when FUN was Β£5.00… Don’t you? :S

  • Salt And Peppermint Bark body scrub – Β£6.95 (link)

Again, another returning favourite has come back for a second, if not third year now! AND I AM STILL YET TO TRY IT! This has clearly done well each year for it to come back and would be an amazing partner to team up with Christingle and Thundersnow for a minty and fresh bath.

  • Snow Fairy cold pressed soap – Β£5.95 (link)

I’ve never used cold pressed soap before but as old and regular readers of mine will know, I HATE Lush soaps. I’ll use them if gifted or bought them, but I would never go out of my way to buy them. They often flare up my eczema and case sore and dry patches on my skin and always, ALWAYS dry up my hands and make them sore. I think the only time I’ve used Lush soaps is for shaving my legs and that’s usually the rare few I can use, one being Rock Star. I’m willing to give the cold pressed soaps a go though, they sound like they’re better for your skin and they look nice in their round little pill shape. ALSO IT’S SNOW FAIRY! I have to give it a go! I’d probably not use this for my hands, but instead get a nice soap dish for the bathroom and have it for washing hands.

  • Berry Berry Christmas shower gel – 250g – Β£11.95 and 500g – Β£17.95 (link)
  • Berry Berry Christmas naked shower gel – 240g – Β£11.75 (link)

This is one of the two new shower gels that Lush has brought out for Christmas this year and I’d like to say that that they have done an amazing fucking job! Last year they brought out Bubble shower gel which was my favourite new product of 2016 (you can read my review here). I don’t think this will be my favourite out of the two but you never know as I haven’t actually smelt them yet! This just sounds so fruity and delicious and I love scents like that as it contains cranberry and blueberry BOTH OF MY FAVOURITE FRUITS! This also contains loads of lustre as well, which looks amazing throughout the bottle from what I’ve seen on pictures. I can’t wait to give this a sniff!

  • Santa’s Christmas shower cream – 250g – Β£10.95 and 500g – Β£17.95 (link)
  • Santa’s Christmas naked shower cream – 240g – Β£10.75 (link)

THIS is what my favourite product of 2017 is looking to be. It shares its scent with Reindeer And Robin FUN and the Santa’s Baby lip tint and lip scrub which had a cola scent. Not exactly Christmassy but it’s really warming and reminds me of winter now thanks to Lush. I already know I want to pick up another Santa Baby lipstick BUT I definitely want to get the 500g bottle of Santa’s Christmas. Everyone is saying how gorgeous it smells and when used in the shower it leaves a long lasting scent on the skin. I was going to order one of these before I go on holiday, but I might as well wait until I get back. Lush have brought this out in a naked version which I very much doubt I’ll be getting. It just looks so fiddly to use!

  • Christingle body conditioner – 100g – Β£9.95 and 250g – Β£17.95 (link)
  • Christingle naked body conditioner – Β£9.75 (link)

I KNOW this has been around for about 2 years now BUT I am still to try it. I was gifted a Snow Fairy body conditioner last year and I haven’t used it yet. I intend to use it when I’m back from my holiday. This is going on the list as I still want to buy and use it, so it’s still technically new to me. It’s a minty body conditioner that you use in the shower after cleansing your skin. Like an in shower body lotion basically. I’ve used these in the past (the Nivea ones) and they work amazing! I haven’t yet used a Lush one, but I really want to. I’ll definitely be picking this up, I LOVE minty shower products. I’d definitely team it up with Intergalactic bath bomb. As you may have heard Lush have brought out some naked items this year including the body conditioners, body lotions and shower gels and creams. I don’t think I’d opt for the naked versions myself, they just sound and look too messy and fiddly.

  • Once Upon A Time body lotion – 100g – Β£7.95 and 225g – Β£13.95 and 500g (link)
  • Once Upon A Time naked body lotion – Β£7.95 (link)

So White looks to have been discontinued and in its place we have been gifted with Once Upon A Time body lotion AND a naked body lotion… I can’t complain, I have some sort of replacement BUT what if I didn’t want a body lotion? πŸ˜› In all fairness I could do with moisturising my skin more, but I never feel like I have the time between working, blogging and being a lazy gaming moo. πŸ˜› I wouldn’t mind giving this a go in store and seeing what I think. If anything I’d pick this up in the Boxing Day sale if it’s on offer.

  • Snow Fairy sparkle jar – Β£6.95 (link)

Snow Fairy is one of my favourite Christmas scents and I remember quite a while ago now that Lush brought out a massage bar in the classic Lush Christmas scent. I never bought it and I regret it so much. I knew a few people who purely got it to burn and use as a wax melt. I wouldn’t do that myself as it’d be an expensive wax melt! BUT I would love to pick up the new sparkle jar version of this to use when me and Dane give each other back massages. He loves the Snow Fairy scent just as much as I do so this one is right up our streets. The one thing I don’t like about this is the shimmer inside. I wouldn’t really use it in all fairness so this product seems like a waste of money to me.

  • Twilight sparkle jar – Β£6.95 (link)

This is exactly the same as the Snow Fairy sparkle jar, shimmer included! The only difference of course being the scent. This has the classic Twilight scent to it and although I’m swaying towards the Snow Fairy sparkle jar if I had to buy one, I also really like the sound of getting Twilight for back massages before bed. If I pick either of these up though it’ll be in the Boxing Day sales. πŸ˜›

FINALLY AFTER WRITING THIS POST FOR ABOUT 4 HOURS IT IS DONE! I’m not joking either. I’ve been faffing around from doing a live Instagram video, to messaging friends. It is finally done and here!

Overall what are my thoughts on Lush’s winter 2017 range? I’m pretty meh about it really. I know I have a decent list of products I want to smell and try but meh I don’t know what to think really. Apart from a couple of scents I don’t think majority of the products are actually anything to do with Christmas. When were citrus scents classed as Christmassy? Or a random pair of teeth and a man in the moon? I know a lot of people have said similar if not the same things as I have. I’ll buy some of the stuff but not as much as I will have bought in previous years, which to me is a shame.

When I get back from holiday I hope to go to Lush and check out ALL the new Christmas products and pick up a few bits. Hopefully anyway. πŸ˜›

What do you think of the Halloween and Christmas range this year? Make sure to let me know your thoughts in the comments down below.

Until next time all take car and I hope you’ve had an awesome weekend!

September Wish List ’17

It’s September! My favourite month of the year and the month of our holiday! YAY! Due to that this months wish list isn’t anything special really and if anything is me adding some items I want to get as staples for my autumn and winter wardrobe.

This months wish list was really hard to be fair as I just can’t think of much I want right now. There’s just been a few big things I’ve wanted, but I’ll go into more detail about that as and when.

But no more chit chat, wish list time! πŸ˜€

  • Naketano Put The D On Me II Hoodie – Β£60.38 (link)

I actually stumbled across this hoodie when shopping with Dane recently. Sadly it was TK Maxx and at the best of times it’s like a jumble sale so whilst I found one I couldn’t find anymore. Sadly the one they had left was too small for me. I looked on their website and sadly they didn’t have the hoodie in stock on their either. ARGH! I did get a note of the brand and looked online at their official website and discovered that Naketano are a German brand. The best bit being that they had the hoodie I wanted in stock on their own website as well as on Blue Tomato, which is where I found it. It’s a gorgeous navy hoodie with red stars all over. It has a cowl neck which means it’ll be lovely to snuggle into when the weather begins to get chillier. It’s not cheap though as you can see from the price, yet TK Maxx was selling it for Β£29.99! I’ll be scouring local TK Maxx’s for this before I go on holiday.

  • Primark Pusheen Sweatshirt.

Primark are really upping their game with character clothing and merchandise and I would like to say I can’t get enough of it, but I haven’t bought any for ages! When I was out shopping with Dane I nearly bought a Marie sweatshirt but left it. I just want a cute and baggy sweatshirt to snuggle up in in my house whilst I do blog and house work. I didn’t see this when I popped in though and I had forgotten all about its existence until I looked on my eBay earlier. I wish I had looked for it now as I would have picked it up! I don’t know how much it’s meant to be from Primark itself, but on eBay it’s going for between Β£18.00-Β£25.00! Shit. I won’t buy this unless it’s from Primark itself.

  • Living Dead Clothing Aggretsuko Rainmaker – Β£39.78 (link)

This brand is very similar to Black Milk Clothing and a lot of people argue about whether one or the other is better. I can’t really comment as I’ve not yet bought any pieces from Living Dead. I want to though and I have my eye on a few pieces (I’ll have to do a wish list in the future!). The one thing that I really like about Living Dead is the amount of geeky anime and gaming related pieces they bring out. They’ve had Studio Ghibli and Pokemon related pieces out in the past and I wish I had picked some up. But they currently have some Sanrio pieces up for grabs in the final chance area of the website which is the newer member of the Sanrio family, Aggretsuko! She’s a red panda who works a shitty office job and spends her time after work singing metal on karaoke to take out the frustrations of said job. They have a crop top with her on as well as the rainmaker which is what I want more out of the two. These like Black Milk aren’t cheap though and due to them coming from Australia, shipping isn’t either. I would rock this with black leggings and jeans in the summertime and a long sleeved t-shirt underneath in the winter. Due to it being discontinued I’m torn over whether to buy or not… I probably won’t though. 😦

  • Marks & Spencer Striped Round Neck Jumper – Β£16.00 (link)

This is a jumper I keep seeing lately and it’s gorgeous for an M&S piece… πŸ˜› A lot of their clothing is designed for the older lady but this one is pretty nice and can be worn with all sorts. I’m really after a jumper that I can wear with my new skater skirt (which you can see here). I’m after wearing stuff like this throughout autumn and winter this year, so I’ll be on the hunt for lots of lovely jumpers to team up with the skirt.

  • Disney Store Lady and the Tramp Tsum Tsum Bundle – Β£21.00 (link)

I saw these a couple of days in the Disney Store and I wanted to buy all of them! As old readers will know I LOVE Lady and the Tramp, it’s my favourite Disney movie so whenever I see merch come out for the film at the Disney Store, I have to buy. I already have the old Lady Tsum Tsum, but now I want the new one, as well as all her friends and enemies! I won’t get these until after the holiday though.

  • Dr Martens 8761 BXB Boot – Β£135.00 (link)

I don’t need a new pair of Docs… I really don’t. I saw these advertised recently on their official Instagram page and fell in love! I have a thing for Dr Martens boots with a steel toe, my Triumph boots have this same sort of look and it looks so chunky and amazing! I love the classic 1461 boots, but the chunky toe just gives them that edgy look. As much as I love my Triumph boots they aren’t the easiest to put on when in a hurry and I’d like some ankle boots that I can just shove on and go out the door in! These are going to be something I’ll treat myself to before my student discount card runs out. πŸ˜› I’ll rock them throughout autumn and winter this year FOR SURE!

So that’s my wish list this month. It’s not the best wish list in the world but there’s a couple of pieces on here that I really want to get for my colder weather essentials. I don’t know if I’ll be buying anything whilst on holiday beauty and fashion wise. I’m sure I’ll have a massive list of goodies up I’ve bought when I’m back. Unless I buy the Docs before I go, I won’t be buying anything on this list anytime soon. Money that I get paid this month will be for holiday and bills. πŸ˜›

What items do you have on your wish lists right now? Make sure to let me know in the comments!

Until next time, take care all and I hope you’ve had an awesome week and weekend!

August Favourites ’17

YAY SEPTEMBER! Oh my I have been so excited for this month to roll around. Apart from the holiday this is always my month of the year where I try to get a fresh start in order. I’ll try and do a blog post about this before I go on holiday.

This past months favourites has been so hard to do as I really had to have a good think about what products I was loving. Obviously I came up with my 5 items for the month but it wasn’t easy!

  • Australian Bodycare Tea Tree Oil Skin Wash.

This is a shower gel I’ve started using again and I always forget how amazing it is! It’s a massive bottle that my mom gave me not long before me and Dane moved into the house. I stopped using it because I wanted to save it for whenever I fancied using it again. Of course tea tree is antibacterial and due to that I love using this shower gel to help me feel lovely and clean. My anxiety can sometimes make me worry I smell and I’m dirty, even if I’ve just got out of the shower. Bless my mom she recently gave me ANOTHER bottle of this and as you can see from the picture, it’s huge. A 1000ml bottle in fact. So I’ve started using it again. I forgot how refreshing this shower gel is and I love it so damn much!

  • Benefit Gogotint Cheek & Lip Stain (review here).

This was one of my new purchases in July/August and it’s the main lip product I’ve worn throughout the month. It’s so easy to apply and in so many different ways! I love wearing it at work at the moment as it adds a pop of colour in the mornings and I can apply my Vaseline over the top of it without any colour being ruined. This will definitely be worn loads throughout September and especially on holiday. You can read my review to understand more of why it’s on my favourites this month.

  • Lush Snow Fairy Shower Gel.

You know Lush Christmas is looming when I get the Snow Fairy out! I still have a massive 1kg bottle left to break out and use when we’re back from holiday, but for now me and Dane have really been enjoying this one and have used nearly all of it! I forgot how sickly sweet it is and I fucking love it! It’s been a shower gel I’ve used on days off as well as in the bath alongside some of my Lush bubble bars and bath bombs. I’m excited to find out what we’ll be getting for Christmas with Lush!

  • Rimmel London Insta Fix & Matte Powder.

I bought this powder as I needed a new one and this has been everywhere on blogs the past month or two. I’m glad I picked it up as it’s a great powder for the price. All the same however it’s not the best in the world, but it definitely does the job whenever I’m getting ready and popping out. I’ve been using it loads this month and I’m probably going to take it with me on holiday too as it’ll be great to use in the evenings to keep shine away. This doesn’t keep shine away all day, but it will for at least 6 hours.

  • DIOR Addict EDP.

I’ve owned this perfume since I went to Fuerteventura in 2015 and it’s still got loads left in the bottle! I started using this mid August and I actually forgot how much I love the scent. I can’t really describe it to be honest with you. It’s sweet but not a girly, teenage, Britney Spears type scent but more of a mature woman smell. It’s the sort of fragrance that if you will see a business woman wear. πŸ˜› This is a classic and has been around for over 10 years now.

So now my beauty favourites are done, time to talk about the miscellaneous favourites of the month!

Image taken from weheartit.com

Favourite TV Show – This Is England 86, 88 and 90.

To say I love This Is England is a massive understatement. I don’t know why but recently I felt the need to watch the TV series from the start to finish. I watched all 11 episodes in probably a day if not two and I fell in love all over again. I didn’t watch the film however. I do have a feeling I felt the urge to watch them due to watching Joseph Gilgun in Preacher recently. Which I am still loving from last month by the way! If you’ve never watched the This Is England series then I seriously suggest you do so asap! You’ll love it more than the film, I guarantee. I just love LOL and Woody so damn much. I wish I had them both as friends.

Favourite Film – Swiss Army Man and To The Bone.

I recently watched these two films thanks to both Amazon and Netflix. Me and Dane have wanted to watch Swiss Army Man for ages but we just never got around to it until we saw it recently being advertised on Amazon Prime. It was all that I could imagine it to be and even more, quite honestly it was weird and amazing and I recommend it for everyone to watch! I’ve had to put a trailer above because I’m pretty sure many haven’t even heard of this film before.

I also recently watched To The Bone, which is about a girl dealing with an eating disorder. It reminds me of a John Green novel and I just fell in love with all of the characters. The film ended and I was left wanting to find out more of what happened! I recommend you watch it if you love films, TV shows and books like this. Something to watch out for is if you have or are currently dealing with an eating disorder then this could trigger you, so please be cautious before watching.

Favourite Book – Erm…

I haven’t read anything this month sadly. I don’t know what it is at the moment but I just haven’t really been reading anything, not even manga. I’m kind of waiting to go on holiday to catch up on reading all my manga at the moment. But I can see me just taking two Bridget Jones books to read.

Favourite Song/Album – K-ON! Soundtrack.

Dane recently bought the soundtrack to K-ON! and that’s pretty much most of what we’ve both been listening to and I actually love it! I can’t wait to listen to these songs when we’re on holiday as they’re just some really happy and go lucky feeling songs. The song I’ve added above is one of the last songs the band create together and it’s the last one we hear on the anime too. It’s the girls goodbye song to the youngest member of the band, Azusa. They’re all leaving to go to college and she’s staying at school for her final year. It’s a very sad song but it’s lovely all the same and is definitely my favourite.

Favourite Game – Persona 5… YES IT STILL IS, GET OVER IT! πŸ˜›

Yes I am STILL playing Persona 5 and I don’t give a fuck! Sadly due to how bad my mental health has been throughout August I haven’t been reading nor have I been playing games and it’s purely because I just haven’t had the patience or thought behind doing either of them. Watching films and TV shows has been fine though.

Image taken from weheartit.com

This being said I have been playing Minecraft with Dane quite a lot lately. We both craved a game we could just chill out and play together and Minecraft was the perfect game for this. We’ve played it loads and I forgot how much I love it. We haven’t played it as much though lately, sadly. I’m sure we will again soon.

So those are my favourites from August! It went by really quickly and a part of me is so pleased. I fucking hated August. It was full of stress for me and mind fucks and I’m really hoping that September will bring better things.

I’ll be writing a blog post about that soon. πŸ™‚

What were your favourites throughout August? Make sure to let me know in the comments down below!

Until next time, take care all and I hope you had a great month.
