Wish List Wednesday – Rainbow Fashion Collab Post!

Today’s wish list Wednesday is such an exciting one and it’s for one reason in particular! This is a collab post with the one and only wonderful blogger, Estelle over at Estellosaurus.

If there is one rainbow queen who I know it is her! I love her outfit posts and I always end up going to look at one piece of clothing she’s wearing in said post online.

It’s because of her that I recently bought myself a new rainbow cardigan and she’ll probably be the cause for many more rainbow purchases… She’s definitely a bad influence. πŸ˜›

So we decided to work together to do a collab post and I have been so excited to get it written down! We decided that I would do a wish list Wednesday about rainbow fashion pieces I want and Estelle is going to talk about the rainbow fashion pieces she owns. I would have done the same as Estelle, but sadly I only own two items, which are both my amazing rainbow cardigans! πŸ˜€

So without further ado, bring on the rainbow goodies!

  • Monki Rainbow Stripe Tee – (link)

I’ve had my eye on picking up a rainbow stripe tee from Monki for AGES but every time I’ve had a look at one it’s either sold out completely or sold out in my size! When I recently visited Bristol with Dane I had a look in the Monki shop inside Cabot Circus and got super excited! Sadly the rainbow stripe tee wasn’t in my size and it looks really cropped too, which sucked. I’m going to keep the hope alive though for a nice striped rainbow tee like this one!

  • Monki Crew Neck Rainbow Jumper – (link)

This jumper really does remind me of the one that Lazy Oaf brought out and it looks AMAZING! I would love this jumper to rock to work on Monday’s and Friday’s throughout the colder months, as well as over weekends with friends or lazy days in with Dane. I especially love that the sleeves are a little tighter, because although I love baggy sleeves that can hide my hands, it can be a bit of a pain when working. My only issue with this jumper is that it looks cropped… So I’d want to see what it looks like in the Bristol Monki store before buying!

  • Boohoo Rainbow Stripe T-Shirt Dress – (link)

I’ve been after some more t-shirt dresses for a while to wear with my normal black leggings, as well as with my Black Milk Clothing leggings and whilst I’m on a massive rainbow love and high, this top would be awesome to wear with my black leggings all casual and such! I wouldn’t be able to wear this for work, it would purely be for when I can’t be arsed to dress up and want to be comfortable. I could imagine itΒ  being a great t-shirt dress to wear on sick days too. πŸ˜›

  • Rocks N Rainbows Ringer Tee – (link)

This is a really cute tee but I wish it was in the UK! I know you can order from the Dolls Kill site and get them sent to the UK, but you know… πŸ˜› ANYWAY! This isn’t technically a rainbow item, but it has a rainbow on it so that counts… Right? πŸ˜› I really love this tee for both work and casual because it’ll just go and work with anything and everything! I especially love the red around the collar and sleeves, it’s a really nice touch and works really well! It also isn’t a bad price either, which I’m always happy with. πŸ˜›

  • Club Exx Dark Rainbow Anodized Boots – (link)

Oh man I just had to add these boots to this list! I know they’re not shouting in your face that they’re rainbow, but fuck me are these sexy boots! I love a good pair of Dr Martens boots and live in them throughout autumn and winter, but these are just something else. To me my Docs are my, “Don’t piss me off…” boots, whereas these would be, “Don’t fuck with me!” boots. You know what I mean? They’d just be awesome to wear throughout the autumn months and possibly spring too.

  • Lazy Oaf Pastel Stripe Rainbow Cardigan

This is a cardigan I have been lusting after for the longest time, but these days it’s a bit of a struggle to find unless you remortgage your house first! It was the original Lazy Oaf rainbow bored cardigan that kick started everyone off on the rainbow cardigan craze and I can honestly understand why! Since then, everyone has been either lusting after that cardigan, the one I’m talking about or any others for that matter! I still want this one and as soon as I find it for a decent price, it WILL be mine! I love wearing cardigans for work, as well as in general and this is such a muted and gorgeous colour that I just need it in my life! HEY if you’re selling one and want a decent price for it, DROP ME A COMMENT ASAP! xD

  • Run & Fly Unisex Rainbow Jumper – (link)

Finally we have another jumper on this list and it’s the last thing I’ll be talking about today. This is actually a unisex product and honestly I LOVE unisex and men’s clothing, it’s always so much more comfortable than women’s. This is such a vintage looking jumper and I feel like it’s something you’d have seen someone wear in the 60’s or 70’s. Or even something from the 90’s that someones picked up in a charity shop. This would be super cozy to wear throughout the autumn and winter months, both at work as well as over the weekends for chilly evenings out. It isn’t cheap at Β£30.00 but I would like to pick it up in the near future.

So those are all my rainbow goodies for my wish list Wednesday! I’m not a massive rainbow magpie, but I do love me some signature rainbow pieces!

I just want to say a massive THANK YOU to Estelle for agreeing to do this rainbow themed collaboration with me! Make sure to head over to her blog to check out what she’s written! I posted her link at the start of this post, but I’ll pop it here too.

Please make sure to go and give Estelle some love, not only is she an amazing and adorable blogger, but she’s also an absolute gem and lovely to talk to. I love that I’ve met her through blogging as she’s definitely one of my favourite bloggers and become a very good blogging friend in such a short period of time.

Anyhoo, I’m off for the day! I hope you all have a lovely day and until next time, take care all!

Back To Education Bag Ideas!

It’s now September and I know the kids are now officially back at school. FYI the weather is also rubbish, it’s 10am as I’m writing this on my day off (day before this post actually goes up!) and I NEED my light on to see what I’m actually doing. I feel sorry for the kids who have just has 6 weeks of crap weather. YUCK!

ANYWAY! I thought to go alongside the back to education post I did recently (which you can read here) I would write a bag ideas post too, so you have somewhere to store all that awesome stationary I talked about before. πŸ˜›

To be honest a lot of the bags I feature on this post are ones I’d buy myself if I was starting back at school, college or university. The prices will also range too due to this. I do understand that some of the bags on this list are very expensive, but it’s just to give an idea I guess on what kind of styles you could buy and use. Doesn’t mean that exact bag. πŸ˜›

On with the post… That has secretly made me want to buy new bags! Oh dear… πŸ˜›

  • Killstar Spektra 90’s Warp Backpack – Β£49.99 (link)

Wow I’ve really kicked off this blog post with a HELLA expensive backpack, haven’t I? It is gorgeous though and is obviously 90’s inspired and follows the grunge trend. It looks to be quite a big bag though which in turn makes it perfect for education use. You can shove all your books in there as well as stationary and necessities. I just love the random patches all over the bag, but yes it is expensive for what it is… You could always find a black bag similar to this one and buy all sorts of patches on eBay or Etsy to iron or sew onto it!

  • Pink Moomins Love Shopping Bag – Β£20.99 (link)

I wasn’t sure whether to add this bag to the list or not due to it being a shopping bag, but hey! When I was at college and university I used bags similar to this one and they were great! Due to how big the ones I used were they were a perfect size for carrying books in and a pencil case or pens. It wasn’t anything over the top and it did the job. I saw this bag though and thought the pink and Moomin print on it was so cute and definitely one you could use at university to go to and from lectures with.

  • The Legend Of Zelda Shoulder Bag – Β£25.99 (link)

Although I’m not a Zelda gamer, I know A LOT of people who are and who were really excited when the new game came out with the Nintendo Switch. The main reason for adding this bag here is because of the type of bag it is. I had a bag exactly the same as this during my GCSE’s at school and I loved it so much! It was the exact same colour as this but it has a huge Green Day logo on the front… I was a massive fan okay!? The bag was huge though and you could fit everything in there including folders. I don’t know if this bag will be the same but it’d be a great bag to use during GCSE’s like I did and especially throughout college and university. It’s also a conversation starter when your’e meeting new people!

  • EMP Full Volume Pearl’s Backpack – Β£24.99 (link)

If you love holographic like myself then maybe a holographic backpack is the way forward? This would probably be more ideal for school due to how bright it is, but hey if you want to rock something like this as you get older then I salute you! I would have probably worn something like this at school and college and probably ended there. I love holographic, but I feel like a backpack would be a bit much at my age… God I make myself sound REALLY old. πŸ˜›

  • Ita Bag – Β£20.00 (link)

Don’t worry if you don’t know what an ita bag is, I will educate you! An ita bag is something that every anime mad girl in Japan will use and wear. The trend is now well and truly in the UK and myself included wants one. They come in various colours but I decided to use the black one as you can’t go wrong with that colour. Where the clear heart is on the front you use as a display window for badges, charms, keyrings etc of your favourite anime character(s). It’s a way to show off your love of a certain anime or just a certain character. I’d love to get a black one to put loads of Persona 5 charms in. I do think I’m too old for this trend now. If this came out when I was in university I may have contemplated getting into it, but alas I’m a little old now. πŸ˜› This would be an amazing bag for someone starting secondary school to have. It would make for great conversation between anime fans. This would work out to be very expensive though, but at the same time it would make an amazing hobbie!

  • Iron Fist Wolfbeater Tote – Β£45.99 currently Β£28.99 (link)

I actually owned this bag many moons ago when I was at university and it was by far one of the best ones I owned! I still have it at my mom and dads house somewhere! It was huge and you have a few different ways to wear it too. Not only that but it’s like a Mary Poppins bag, you’ll never be able to find what you want straight away as it’s huge! You’d be able to keep folders, books, necessities and of course stationary in there without a worry. You can get all sorts of designs on this style of bag too, I just chose this one as this is the same one as mine.

  • Missguided Faux Fur Bag – Β£18.00 (link)

I can’t say I agree with the faux fur look fashion wise… It looks tacky to me and yuck. BUT I put this down to the hideous fluffy sliders that have appeared this summer. This backpack has the faux fur trend all over it and although I’m not a massive fan of the trend, this bag is really cute in it’s own right. This could Β be worn by anybody and considering it’s by Missguided it’s probably going to be more fashion orientated and not as practical… But sod it! If you’re at university and live on site then this will definitely be a winner for you! You can carry your folder and look all American high schoolesque. Β πŸ˜› If that wasn’t already a word… It certainly is now! πŸ˜›

So that’s some of my bag ideas for returning or even starting back in education. I can’t believe how quick the school holidays went, can you?

Do you have any bag recommendations for younger people than I? Make sure to tell me down below! Have you bought a new bag recently? If so let me know that too.

Until next time, take care all and I hope you’re having a great week!

ο»ΏMay Wish List ’17

I swear this months wish list should be called “holographic/metallic wish list!” as most of the items on here are just that. That and holiday related items too. As I mentioned in one of my posts recently, me and Dane are going on holiday this year which is super exciting! I didn’t mean to find so much holographic and holiday related stuff to be honest… I kind of just ended up stumbling upon stuff out of boredom last week… Oops! πŸ˜› Oh well, it makes for some reading today for you guys. ^_^

  • New Look Turquoise Metallic Lattice Longline Bikini Top – Β£16.99 (link)
  • New Look Turquoise Metallic Tie Side Bikini Bottoms – Β£12.99 (link)

I discovered this bikini recently through a Google search whilst looking for holographic/metallic bikinis. I don’t really need a new bikini but I wouldn’t mind picking up a new one for my holiday in September. This is gorgeous and is unlike anything I’ve ever seen before to be honest. Not only does the design of this look unique and have a grunge style to it (which I LOVE!) but it’s also a beautiful turquoise metallic colour which is the perfect holiday and beach colour. Although this is gorgeous and probably my perfect bikini for Fuerteventura it’s kind of impractical for sunbathing in due to the lattice design. Due to this I’d probably use this mostly for popping down to the beach and on very hot days to the shops. Of course I would pick up both the top and bottoms. I’ll definitely be buying these on payday next week so I don’t miss out the chance of getting them!

  • Your Lie in April Part 2 Limited Edition Blu-ray – Β£44.99 (link)

I LOVE Your Lie in April and especially around the start of the year when I first started watching the anime series, as well as reading the manga. Since then I’ve finished the manga and been awaiting part 2 of the blu-ray to come out and be added to my collection. I haven’t actually finished watching the anime yet as I wanted to binge watch it all on the blu-rays with Dane, so of course I am really excited to be able to finally do this!

  • New Look Silver Holographic Mini Backpack – Β£17.99 (link)

I don’t NEEEEED a new backpack but it never hurts to add a new addition to your collection… Does it? I’ve owned backpacks similar to this from New Look before and they’re definitely some of the best ones I’ve owned to be honest. They’re comfortable, look great and are a bargain for how much wear you get from them. I really am on a holographic kick at the moment, like a holographic magpie so I couldn’t help but eye up this backpack. I’d love to try and pick it up in the sale (if it goes into sale obviously) before I go on holiday, but we’ll see what happens. I’d want to try and cutesy this bag up by popping a couple of badges on it and some cute Japanese gatchapon keyrings.

  • Truffle Collection Truffle Flatform Holographic Sliders – Β£14.00 (link)

Again I was looking for some holiday ideas and the first thing I thought to search for was (yet again!) holographic themed items. I found this flatform sandals and I’m unsure what I think of them to be honest. I don’t love them enough to buy them as soon as possible for the holiday, but I don’t know if I hate them enough to not warrant myself buying them at all. I would love another pair of shoes to take with me to wear around the house, to the beach and in the evenings as something light but I have my flip flops to do that. I’m definitely more of a Vans slip on trainer and flip flop girl when it comes to going to Fuerteventura. If these went to a dirt cheap price I’d definitely pick them up as they’d be great to wear casual in the day and dressed up in the evening a little. I think what puts me off the most is that they’re white. Black would have been SOOOO much better!

  • Forever 21 Holographic Windbreaker Jacket – Β£24.00 (link)

When I saw this jacket it just reminded me of the 90’s and of the style of jackets my mom and brother used to wear… But not holographic obviously. πŸ˜› For the final time on this blog post I’ll be talking about something holographic… I do apologise about how much stuff there is on here that’s either that or metallic. Again due to the holiday I was having a look around to see what else I could find on Forever 21’s website to buy in the future and this jacket looks cool! I’d want to pick it up to wear over the summer, as well as for the holiday. As cool as the turquoise colour is I don’t know if the jacket itself would look good or even feel comfortable. I’d want to go in store and have a look at this first before buying it, or at least read a handful of reviews.

  • Good Smile Company K-ON! Yui Hirasawa Nendoroid – Prices vary depending where you buy.

Finally we come to the last item on this list and it’s one that me and Dane both want to try and find next month! We were really naughty this month Nendoroid wise and bought quite a lot in one go. We’re part of a Nendoroid group on Facebook and someone on there was selling all of her K-ON! collection so erm… We bought all of the ones we needed. We picked up four out of five she was selling which means the only girl we need now is Yuki! She’s the main character of K-ON! and is Dane’s favourite character. We’ll try and keep our eyes peeled for someone else on that group to sell a Yui Nendoroid or we’ll end up buying a new or second hand one from Japan. These Nendoroid figures came out years ago, not long after they started being made so they’re not as easy to get a hold of now, but this being said they’re cheaper.

So that’s my wish list for this month! I really need to stop spending money now and put it in savings to have towards the holiday. I don’t really want anymore manga at the moment so I’ll definitely be saving money not buying those. I’ll also be saving money not buying much else too because besides the stuff on this list I don’t want anything. πŸ˜›

What items do you have on your wish lists? Make sure to let me know in the comments down below!

Until next time take care all and I hope you’re having a great week.

Secondary School Nostalgia!

A random post but sod it, who doesn’t love a bit of nostalgia eh?

From 2001 to 2006 I attended secondary school and they were a mixture of some of the best and worst times of my life. But some of the best times are when I look back to all the awesome trends we have flying around and how they’re now making a comeback.

What really inspired me to write this post was the story I am writing for my dissertation at university. It focuses on a girl between 2001 to 2008 and the nostalgia I am feeling writing about it towards the start of 00’s is making me feel so nice and fuzzy instead.

I wish I could go back to this time. I legit want a time machine!

But alas, I can’t get hold of one right now, so I thought I would share my nostalgia list with you and things that remind me of secondary school.

  • Davidoff Cool Water EDT.

This was probably the first perfume I owned as a teenager (alongside Thierry Mugler’s Angel) and I loved it! I used to spritz this all over my uniform and then head to school. I always got compliments on it too and at the same time my mom and one of my cousin’s wore this. However over the years my nose has changed and I no longer love this perfume, but I rather hate it! I smelt it recently to try and get some memories back, but urgh vile! I never remember it smelling so strong and cheap. For an EDT it is a really strong scent. I did love this though as a teen and I don’t have any regrets! I smelt damn good! πŸ˜›

  • Bath pearls.

Does anyone remember these? Where were you if you don’t? I remember these being a weekend treat for myself after a long week of school. I would run a hot bath and pop one of these into the tub. I love bath pearls even now! They give some essential oils to your bath and smell gorgeous too. The Body Shop used to sell these and my mom always treated me to some whenever we went shopping together. Over the years though, bath pearls have sort of vanished and the only place I’ve been able to find them now as Wilko’s own brand, which are really nice. I used to love coconut and strawberry flavours. These have now been replaced by Lush’s bath bombs and bubble bars.

  • Light up dummy.

I recently spoke to someone about these and I thought me and my cousin’s were the only ones to know about this craze, but alas, everyone else did too. I remember a time when flashing dummies were in and everyone apart from me had one. These were popular with ravers and clubbers, which of course we were WAY too young to be involved in. So both my cousin’s owned these dummies and I didn’t, and it sucked! By the time I found one to buy, these were well out of fashion. I’d be half tempted to try and bring the craze back though. These were fun in the early nights and later nights when it was dark out and you were still playing. They only cost a couple of quid too from poundshops and markets. Bargain!

  • Ali G Indahouse.

When this film came out everyone in my year loved it… Well most people anyway. And (this is how pathetic the people in my year were) if you had watched this, you were pretty cool, which at the time made me feel awesome because I had infact watched it. So much so I knew most of the funniest lines and people loved me because of it! However, I look back and cringe at the fact that I felt cool for watching this. Either way, I loved this film so much. I could do the finger clicked business and everything. It just makes me laugh. And I still can’t believe Martin Freeman is in this, he plays his character really well and he always makes me giggle. If you haven’t watched this film, do! Because it’s the perfect stereotype for how people used to be in the 00’s like Ali G… And possibly some people still today!

  • Bubblegum Club.

I LOVED the Bubblegum Club and the characters in secondary school! If I ever found anything in the shops with the characters on, I often spent my pocket money on it. We all loved them in class too and often spent ICT classes making Powerpoint presentations with little gifs of them all to create discos, and such like that. We also used to discuss which one of us amongst the class were certain characters. Mine was usually rock chick, which makes sense still even now! One item I fondly remember buying by the Bubblegum Club are some lip balms my mom bought for me from New Look. There were five different colours/scents and I used to use a different one each day at school. I felt really cool having them.

  • MySpace

The second time we got internet in our house, was when MySpace was all the rage and everyone and their pet had an account. My cousin set mine up and I met so many people on it. Even some of my oldest friends I met through chatting to them on MySpace, moving onto MSN from there. You could personalise your page using HTML coding, pop your favourite song on for everyone to enjoy when they went to your page, as well as friend loads of artists, bands, and celebrities. It was the place to be but then Facebook came along… and when MySpace changed it’s layout, that’s when it really went downhill! I recently logged into my account and it really has changed. It doesn’t look as good anymore. But it was fun to try and stalk people. πŸ˜›

  • Scented gel pens.

Most people had these at school, at least one in their pencil case. I had all of them! I used my pocket money on them whenever new ones came out and even received them for birthday and Christmas presents. I still use my scented gel pens now. At one point they were all I used at school and everyone loved me because of it. I especially loved the dark blue one that smelt of soda and the black that smelt like cola as I used these for my uni work. My teachers used to sniff the pages of my notebooks whenever they marked my work during class. I want to get the whole range of scented gel pens again so I can use them for my uni work. But I can’t find them online at the moment, which sucks.

  • Rimmel Sweet Jelly lip gloss.

I remember when these first came out and I adored them! I loved lip gloss as a teenager and rarely used lipsticks. I would apply these before and after classes, as well as during toilet breaks. I was naughty and during my GCSE’s I would sneak off to the toilet to apply my lip products… As well as pee! I did go there for the toilet! But everyone had this lip gloss when it first came out. I had both the clear and a pinky red shade. If I didn’t wear them at school, I wore them during the weekends. I felt somewhat cute wearing lip gloss, especially if it was pink or red. It seems times haven’t changed in that sense! But what I loved most about these was that they smelt and tasted like fruits. It was delicious. It’s a shame they got rid of these.

  • Roll on glitter.

Who DIDN’T like this back in the day? Hell we all still love it now, don’t we? I loved the roll on body glitter and each time I used one up, I got a new one. You could get spray on body glitter with scents, roll on, tubs, everything! These were used mostly on upper arms, collar bone, and the face, mostly next to your eyes and above your cheeks. My cousin’s were crazy for these and I only got into the whole glitter phase after it started to die out. I remember buying myself some roll on glitter and wearing it to the school disco. I felt so cool and hip! Oh those were the days. Only needing to worry about where to apply body glitter. Sigh.

  • Lip Smacker lip balm.

I remember when this first came out in the UK and I bought almost all of the stand in my local Superdrug. My mom was with me at the time and wasn’t too pleased that I spent Β£10 on lip balms. They were worth it though. I used them all the time at school and I don’t ever remember seeing anyone else, other than one girl using Lip Smackers. They clearly weren’t as hip and with it as we both were. πŸ˜‰ Then Lip Smackers vanished from my local Superdrug and I was really gutted. Since then I’ve tried some of their newer flavours and they are great and kept my lips lovely and soft.

  • Bang on The Door – Groovy Chick character.

Every girl I knew KNEW about Bang on The Door and either had some sort of object with the characters on, or craved something. I was a mix of the two. Most of the girls in my school had notebooks and journals with the characters on but as much as I wanted a notebook myself, they cost nearly Β£10! That’s expensive for a teen who doesn’t have a job! I remember seeing BOTD and being jealous of anyone who owned anything like it. I did have a few pieces myself, but they were never as cool as what everyone else had. I did some research whilst writing this post and discovered that BOTD are apparently bringing back Groovy Chick, and their retro pieces! I bet all 20 somethings are feeling a little nostalgic right now? Huh?

So that was my nostalgia post! Do you remember any of the items and things I mentioned? Hey, did you own any or hate any? Make sure to let me know in the comments!

I know throughout May to September whilst I’m writing my dissertation I’m going to continue feeling the nostalgia.

Uni is the reason I have been so quiet lately but as soon as May 21st rolls around, things will be alright.

I hope all my readers are well and enjoying Spring so far.

Take care all and see you soon.

The 90’s Tag!

Image taken from weheartit.com

Okay I know I haven’t posted on my blog for a week now, but I have been pretty busy! It was my boyfriends birthday the weekend and let’s just say I’m still recovering from it and that isn’t due to drinking too much alcohol, I didn’t drink any. We just went to a lot of places, with a lot of people.

We went for a meal with his old work friends on Friday evening, Milton Keynes for snowboarding with one of his friends on Saturday, Sunday we chilled out all day but in the evening we went round to a friend’s house and watched films and ate Chinese, and finally for his birthday on Monday we both went to Warwick Castle.

It was a hell of a tiring weekend and now I’m just sat in bed relaxing after a busy morning/afternoon at work.

SO LET ME GET ON WITH THIS TAG!

As I was born at the start of 1990, I am indeed a 90’s child, and for a while I saw this tag floating around Bloglovin’, as well as around the blogging world and when I finally saw this tag done on Lauren’s blog over on Keep Calm It’s Only A Blog, I thought I would take part too.

So without further delay, let’s get on with it! πŸ˜›

1. Favourite Disney film?

I’d probably say Pocahontas. I remember how much I loved that film as a kid, as well as when I went to the cinema to watch it. My parents and I had been out shopping beforehand and during that trip my Mom bought me a Pocahontas sweater, which I loved. It was a dark red and had a picture of Pocahontas on it. I don’t remember where she bought it from, but I’m gunna guess Marks & Spencer. Anyhoo days later we went to the cinema to watch the film, where I wore my sweater. I loved that sweater so much and as well as that for the following Christmas I received a Pocahontas doll with a Meeko hair braider, which I still own somewhere! Picture of said toy down below…

2. NSYNC or Backstreet Boys?

Neither, I wasn’t into either of those bands and I couldn’t sing any of their song lyrics if I tried…

3. Favourite candy/sweets?

I didn’t each much chocolate or sweets as a kid, I was and still am more of a crisps person… Although I do remember blue dolphin sweets, I loved those as a kid.

Image taken from weheartit.com

4. Weirdest fashion trend?

Mmm… I’m not sure to be honest. Probably jelly shoes, so wrong but oh so right, cool and strangely comfortable!

5. Favourite music artist/band?

I had a soft spot for Simply Red when I was younger, as well as Oasis and I loved S Club 7… Which I am embarrassed to admit. xD

6. Favourite game? (board game, playground)

Playground game I loved to play was What’s The Time Mr Wolf, that was a fun game to play! Board game I used to love spending Saturday and Sunday afternoons playing Scrabble and Monopoly with my Dad. πŸ™‚

7. What would you watch on TV after school & Favourite TV shows?

SOOTY! My Mom always made sure to get my home to watch Sooty & Co in the 90’s and although when I look back it was never as good as The Sooty Show, it didn’t stop me loving it just as much. As well as that I loved SMTV Live, even though that was more towards the late 90’s. Also Art Attack was a good show to watch, as well as Rugrats, Kenan & Kel, Tot’s TV, Brum, The Queen’s Nose, and many more.

8. Favourite book?

I won’t lie, I didn’t read much when I was younger, which I feel quite sad about to this day as I really do love to read now. I do remember reading Adventures of the Little Wooden Horse though and I really did love that book! I want to re-buy it as I don’t have a clue what I did with the original copy I owned, plus I would love to read the sequels that came out after it. It’s a children’s book, but who doesn’t like reading back on books they loved as a child, eh?

9. Favourite clothing store?

I want to say New Look… But that seems too old, doesn’t it?! Every time my Mom popped into New Look she would end up buying me a nice funky t-shirt to wear. I still own a couple of the quirky ones I had from back in the day, including one of a dog called Afro Ken, which in hindsight may have fueled my intrigue of anything Japanese related.

10. 90’s beauty memories?

My cousin was really into make up when we were approaching 10 years old and it wasn’t that I wasn’t into make up, but I wasn’t into it quite as much as she was. She would do my make up for me and popped glitter gel on my cheeks and all this stuff and from day one of her popping eyeshadow onto my eye lids, I wasn’t a fan of the stuff but I LOVED glitter gel and to this day I wish I could still use it and get away with it, but I’m old now. I can’t be doing that anymore! I loved glitter gel, whether it came in a small jar, a roller ball tube, or a spray bottle, I loved to apply it wherever I could.

11. Favourite McDonald’s happy meal toy?

When the Snoopy World Tour toys came out for the first series! My cousin’s and I went mad for them and every weekend we would have Happy Meals just to see how many we could collect, as well as who could collect the most. I still own all mine to this day (please don’t ask why!) and the reason why this was my favourite toys is purely because I love Snoopy, I have done from a young age and I don’t think that love will ever leave me.

12. Favourite toy?

Favourite toy… I’m not 100% sure to be honest with you. I loved playing with my Barbie’s, but I also loved playing with my cuddly teddies too… But I think my most memorable toys were my TY Beanie Babies, one in particular being my big black and brown cat, which was called Chip. I took it everywhere with me, especially to school and I just loved it a lot. I can’t remember where it was bought from, but I just loved it so. As well as that when 102 Dalmatians came out, I fell in the love the cartoon versions of the puppies Oddball, Domino, and Little Dipper. Knowing how much I was in love with the film my parents bought me a plush version of Oddball, which I fell in love with for quite a long time. It was the last teddy they ever bought me and last one I ever grew to love as a child. I still have it somewhere and it’ll never be thrown away!
