October Favourites ’22

Happy Halloween guys! It’s tomorrow, one of my favourite times of year, and unfortunately, I’m not here for it. I bought decorations and never put them up, and I had a pumpkin to carve (thanks to my dad and his pumpkin patch!) but due to have a cold/flu this week, I haven’t even felt up to doing it. I’m gutted. Halloween this year has been a major flop for me for many reasons, which is a shame.

It’s not all doom and gloom in the run up to November though, as me and Dane are now on holiday from work for a week! We’ve been in need of some long time off of work so we’re both looking forward to it.

October really flew by and I can’t believe it’s November in just a few days. I love this time of year due to Halloween and Bonfire Night, but the weather is vile, which is such a shame. I hope during our week off the weather holds off a little, I don’t want to just have a wet week off work. 😦

I’m not going to waffle on anymore, let’s get on with the favourites!

Beauty – Neutrogena Hydro Boost Body Gel Cream.

This is a body cream I’ve been using for quite a while now, couple of months now maybe? Unfortunately I recently discovered that I’m allergic to The Body Shop’s strawberry body yogurt on my legs, so I’ve had to discontinue using that there, and instead I’ve been using the Neutrogena gel cream. I don’t just use this on my legs, sometimes I will use all over as it’s such a quick and easy body gel cream to use! It absorbs quickly, feels light and cooling and smells lovely and fresh too! This is one where a little bit goes a long way too, and I already know I’ll be repurchasing this, especially when it costs less than £5! I also have the spray version too, which I don’t use too often… I need to use it more!

Movie – Various horror including Rec and House of 1000 Corpses.

The past week we’ve spent many evenings watching horror movies through Shudder, a movie subscription service dedicated to horror! We have a seven day free trial and so far we’ve watched quite a few films on there, but the two that stand out to me are Rec and House of 1000 Corpses, the latter being a movie my boyfriend has wanted me to watch since we got together! Rec is always a film I’d heard of due to the remake, but I never actually knew what it was about. Alas I was surprised as I watched it and I thoroughly enjoyed! If you’ve never seen it, you should watch it too, not the remake, the original!

My boyfriend did pre-warn me about House of 1000 Corpses about how “amateur” it is due to it being done by Rob Zombie, who at the time was more known as a musician than director. This was the first film he directed and you can kind of tell, but that’s what is so charming about the film itself! The film is about a group of teenagers who are kidnapped by a family during Halloween. My favourite character (one I’m sure the film is best known for) is Captain Spaulding. He’s fucking hilarious and I can’t get enough of some of the stuff he says, hence the clip above.

TV Show – Chainsaw Man.

I haven’t read the manga, but I was so hyped about the anime for Chainsaw Man releasing a couple of weeks ago! I’ve always heard amazing things about the manga series from my friend Sammie, as well as from members of the Worlds Apart Discord community. We’re on three episodes so far and it’s constantly giving you action and things to get you to the edge of your seat. We follow Denji, a teenage human boy, who is orphaned, and has to hunts devils in order to pay off his families debt. With his pet devil Pochita by his side, he can do what he needs to. However, something bad happens, which changes Denji’s life. I won’t say anymore as I don’t wish to spoil but… I’m loving this series so far and I already can’t wait for the next episode on Tuesday. 😛

Music – PVRIS – “Anywhere But Here” and “Animal”.

Recently PVRIS released two new songs in the form of a short film, where both songs were featured. I really love both of these songs, more so “Anywhere But Here” as I love the lyrics and melody style vibe and sound behind it. I do really like “Animal” as well as it feels the complete opposite to “Anywhere But Here” with harder guitar riffs and more, with the lyrics being a little more edgy too and with a rebel attitude? I remember seeing around the end of October that PVRIS had something new to reveal to fans, so I was excited it would at least be a new song, but the fact we got treated to two?! I can’t remember if I mentioned on my blog previously, but at the start of August I finally bit the bullet and booked to see PVRIS live, and I’m so bloody excited for it! Since I discovered PVRIS in 2019 I’ve been dying to go and see them live. 🙂

Game – PlateUp!

This is a game one of our friends was talking about, which intrigued me. I watched the trailer above and I just knew I had to give it a go! As it’s a game Dane already owned, we opted to play it on the split screen play together with said friend and since then I’ve been itching to play it! This was only yesterday by the way. 😛 So, PlateUp! is about running a restaurant, including cooking in the kitchen, serving the customers, as well as cleaning after them. Pretty much Overcooked, BUT it isn’t as stressful, which is always nice. One thing I especially liked about this game is the fact it’s couch co-op, so you don’t need two copies for you and a someone else to play! It’s up to four players, so maybe even four of you could play at the same time!

Just a few of my favourite things…

A new cross stitch project!

At the start of October I started a new cross stitch project and it’s one I was so anxious about at first, so much so I left it untouched for about a week? Since then I’ve been picking it up every other night and a couple of weeks later it’s looking as it does above. If you can’t tell, this is a Studio Ghibli inspired piece from Spirited Away. It’s Chihiro’s little yellow shoes, surrounded by soot sprites. As we don’t like shoes on in the house, I decided to cross stitch this design for our home to hang up! I’m planning to have it completed before the new Pokemon games come out mid November. The design/pattern is by the same person who I bought my Eevee design/pattern off, which I’ll link here.

New smock dresses.

If there’s one style of dress I’m mad about right now, it’s smock dresses. I can’t get enough of them, honestly! I received a couple recently, one being a pre-order, the other being a bargain find on eBay! I’ll talk about them in the order shown about.

The ghost smock dress is by Lazy Girl Club, which I mentioned recently on my October wish list here. I pre-ordered this dress over a month ago and a few weeks ago, it arrived! I love ghosts, so I knew I couldn’t resist this dress for Halloween, as well as all year around! The only issue I have with it though is it’s far too big for me, which people have commented on. If I don’t wear a harness or belt around the middle, I look like I’m trying to hide a pregnancy, which personally isn’t a look I want. Due to this I’m looking for a harness I can wear with this a lot of the time. I do have a Black Milk Clothing corset style harness that I’m wearing in the above photo, which works so well with it! I’ll probably try and wear this at work one day and see how I get on! If you’d like to get one of your own ghost smock dresses by Lazy Girl Club, or any other of her pieces for that matter, get over to her store ASAP as she’s just reopened it for orders!

The eBay bargain I found is this Lazy Oaf sally dress! I’ve seen this dress pop up on eBay and Vinted on and off, but when someone popped one on eBay for under £40, I couldn’t resist! It was brand new with tags and a complete bargain. I couldn’t wait for it to arrive so I could wear it to work and more. I’ve worn it a few times and it’s definitely too big for me, but it’s fine with a belt around the middle! It’s very cosy and perfect for colder days with a cardigan layered over the top of it. When I wore it to work I got a lot of compliments, which was really nice!

Lumichee goodies.

Finally, my long awaited Lumichee goodies arrived that I ordered! I can’t remember if I mentioned on my blog, but I placed this order through a courier service as the costs I would have paid through Etsy were a joke! I have no regrets and since the hoodie arrived, I’ve pretty much lived in it. 😛 I went for the mousemoth hoodie, as well as a sakura inspired mousemoth plush. I’m already chomping at the bit to place a second order, but I must be good due to Christmas looming! I don’t want to talk too much about these as I plan to write a blog post about these at some point in November. 🙂

So, there we have it, my favourites for October! Did you find October flew by really quickly?

What were your favourites from October? Anything I’ve mentioned that you’re planning to check out? Also, what plans do you have for Halloween tomorrow and Bonfire Night next week? Make sure to let me know in the comments!

Until next time, take care all and have an amazing (and safe) Halloween and Bonfire Night next week!

September Wish List ’20

We’ve been into September almost a week now and I am feeling autumnal and excited for Halloween, Bonfire Night and especially everything else this season brings.

September so far hasn’t been too bad and I’m really loving how each day you can see summer begin to fade and autumn start to show it’s true colours… Aka orange, brown and yellow. 😛

In regards to my September wish list, I toyed with having this up either this weekend or next. I felt it would be too long for a post if I didn’t have it up until next weekend, so here we are… Two posts in one week! 😀 Don’t think it’s going to become a habit though… It’s not. 😛

I don’t really have much to talk about sadly as it feels like it hasn’t been too long yet between my two monthly posts… I’m just super excited for autumn and Halloween at the moment, so please excuse how spooky this months favourites are. 😛 I even made the background orange for autumn… 😛 I hope it isn’t too bright for you guys. xD

  • LittlestSpookShop Halloween Hijinkery Print (link)

Recently I discovered Littlest Spook Shop through YouTuber SimplySpooky and I have fallen in love with their ghost designs. I honestly want them all, but sadly I don’t have a clue where I would keep them in my house. I also have to add the fact Dane isn’t a massive fan of them… Purely because they’re ghost and gothic/Halloween looking. There is one design I may pick up in the future to keep by my side of the bed which is the Always Cosy Club design. It’s definitely me and it’s a print Dane likes too. However, the print I like the most from their Etsy store at the moment is the Halloween Hijinkery print. It shouts Halloween and the little ghosts are absolutely adorable! I think if I was to pick up this print I’d want to stick it up on my plushie cabinet. 🙂

  • BeaconCandlesUK Pokémon Lavender Town inspired Scented Candle (link)

Everyone knows I’m a massive fan of candles and Pokemon, so when I heard of a UK seller merging the two together, I had to check it out. Lavender Town is one of my favourite places in the original Gen 1 Pokemon games and I think it’s obvious why. The scent of this candle is kind of obvious with lavender, vanilla and cedarwood. It sounds so lovely, especially for cold evenings. Cubone is also one of my favourite Pokemon, so for there to be a Cubone skull and crossbones on the top of this candle, is morbid but cool at the same time. This isn’t something I’ll pick up anytime soon as I have LOADS of amazing wax tarts from CushtyCo to burn, as well as some leftover Yankee Candle jars. This is definitely the kind of thing I will ask for when Christmas and my birthday is around.

  • UNIQLO Lady and The Tramp T-Shirt (link)

Regular readers (and friends) of my blog will know I’m a MASSIVE Lady and the Tramp fan and have been since I was old enough to watch Disney and understand it. I knew UNIQLO were releasing a Disney collection soon, so I’ve been keeping my eyes peeled for the collection to launch. I don’t 100% know when this came out, but I rather like it. It’s simple, not in your face with the design and it’s pink… A colour I don’t own much of in my wardrobe. I love the design across the chest as the black and white design fits perfect against the pink. It’s the classic scenes from Lady and the Tramp when the two are having the spaghetti meatballs. I’ve never bought a UNIQLO item before and have always wanted to. Maybe this will be the first of many pieces? I’d rock this tucked into a skirt or mom jeans. 🙂

  • Quirkory Lunar Plushie Spookies Enamel Pins – Tab and A-ghostin (link)

Heads up, this is a pre-order item at the moment and I made sure to pre-order my goodies as soon as this went live on Quirkory’s Etsy store! As regular readers will know, I LOVE Quirkory and they’re by far my favourite independent store out there (make sure to check out my two posts about their enamel pins here – Eeveelutions and Animal Crossing) and I’ll always support them the best I can. So, when they redesigned their Lunar Spookies enamel pins in a cuter plushie form, I knew I had to pick up a couple. I went for Tab the bat and A-ghostin the ghost. They’re so plushie, kawaii and right up my street! I honestly cannot wait for these to arrive for Halloween and autumn. I already know I’m going to display all my Halloween pins throughout October.

  • Black Milk Clothing Ghosties Longline Evil Tee Dress (link)

I have been a fan of Black Milk Clothing since 2014 and I’ve never looked back. I recently made a MASSIVE order from their Pokemon collaboration in July and I have zero regrets… Hint hint I’ll be talking about the pieces I bought this month. 😛 However, Black Milk have now announced and shown sneak peaks of their Halloween collection and I’ve seen one piece that I really do want in my collection. The Ghosties dress is ABSOLUTELY ADORABLE! The little ghosties all over it are so cute but I feel like this dress isn’t too in your face in regards to the spooky, Halloween design. I really don’t need to be buying Black Milk pieces again so close to the Pokemon ones, but come Monday night when this goes up in the store… I may just get it. 😛

So there we have it guys, this months wish list! I’m actually trying to watch my spending again, as I have some stuff to do on the house, as well as Christmas being here before we know it!

I don’t know why I’m soooo excited for Halloween this year, but I’ve been itching to go to Homesense and/or TK Maxx to look at all the Halloween goodies and how me and Dane can decorate the house this year. I actually think it’s due to being in the house so much that is giving me that “decorating” itch. 😛

What items do you guys have on your wish lists? Do you like what I added to mine? Make sure to let me know in the comments below.

Until next time, take care, stay safe and I hope you all have a great weekend!

Autumn Tag 2018

We are officially 2 weeks into autumn now and whilst I was walking home yesterday after a lovely sushi and shopping date with my friend Sophie, I took some pictures.

Earlier that day Michael from mnealewriting tagged me to take part in the autumn tag. I can never turn down a tag post, especially one about autumn! Over the years I’ve done more autumn tag posts than I can remember. I don’t care though, my thoughts on autumn seem to change each year. 😛

So get yourself a lovely hot drink and a blanket as this is going to be a long tag, enjoy!

What signifies the start of Autumn for you?

When the trees start turning into that gorgeous orange colour we all know, that chill in the air in the mornings and evenings as you travel to and from work and when it starts to get darker earlier.

What is your favourite Autumn scent?

I definitely love scents like salted caramel and other baked scents. Especially when they’re warming and comforting.

What is your favourite Autumn colour?

Mustard, for sure! I do like burgundy too, but my love of this shade has diminished as the years have gone on. Mustard has always been a firm favourite though.

Are you a fan of PSL (Pumpkin Spice Latte)

Hell no. It tastes of sugar, type 2 diabetes and heart failure.

What is your favourite Autumn drink?

I can’t say I have a favourite to be honest with you. Autumn and winter are definitely times when hot chocolates rear their yummy heads and I’m always down for a mint hot chocolate, but I associate that more with Christmas. Salted caramel latte is always a good choice.

What’s your favourite coffee shop and their drink of choice?

Anywhere really, I don’t have a favourite. I’ll go to Costa for hot chocolate and flat white and Starbucks for anything else. I love an independent coffee shop near where I live as they do creme brulee in any drink and it’s pretty damn amazing! I love independent coffee shops the most to be fair.

Apple Pie or Pumpkin Pie?

Neither. I find pumpkin flavoured things to be so American and it’s really took off over here. I don’t know why though.

What TV show, new or old, are you looking forward to in the next few months?

South Park! They have their new season out at the moment, which me and Dane need to watch actually. We’re also watching Attack on Titan and loving it. I keep binge watching This is England 86, 88 and 90 at the moment and it really makes me feel warm inside. It’s one of my favourite shows. To be fair I don’t really watch much TV, only catch up stuff. It’s gaming that’s happening for me the rest of the year!

What is your favourite Autumn fashion trend?

As you may have noticed I’m not all that fashionable anymore. BUT in my world of fashion… Erm… 😛 No I’m loving the tartan trend right now! I’m wearing red tartan with cream, blue/green tartan with mustard and grey tartan with anything really. 😀

What is your favourite comfort food to enjoy in the colder months?

ALL THE FOOD! No, I especially love macaroni cheese, katsu curry, fish and chips and toad in the hole with gravy and roast potatoes. All the carbs basically.

What is your favourite Autumn activity?

Going out with Dane for walks and looking at Halloween and bonfire related goodies, just before all the Christmas stuff kicks off. I also like going out for Bonfire Night, we did that for the first time together last year and it was so much fun. I’m so excited to do it again this year already.

Do you like horror movies?

LOVE THEM! We watched one with our friends Jacqui and Chris yesterday evening. We watched the new IT and it was amazing! I’d watched half of it to be fair but the ending was good. SPOILER there’s going to be a second film coming out! But we’ve all planned to watch more horror movies and probably spend Halloween together.

Do you ever do anything fun for Halloween?

Not anymore to be honest, I’m getting too old for that now. Last year we did the house up the week of Halloween and got some trick or treaters at the door. They were only little kids with parents and THEY WERE ADORABLE! I made sure to have loads of sweets for them and this year I’ll do the same if I don’t go out for Halloween. I did really enjoy their faces when I told them how scary they looked, it’s so sweet. If we go out, we’ll probably go watch a horror movie, or go watch one with our friends.

What was your favourite part about Halloween as a child?

Well I only went trick or treating once and whilst it was fun, I felt wrong knocking peoples doors for free sweets. So that never really was my favourite thing. What was, however, was every Halloween a local stationary store stocked Halloween goodies and they just seemed to have LOADS of bat themed goodies! My mom would always buy me something and one year she bought me a blow up bat you were meant to hang on the wall. A couple of months later that bat broke and it wouldn’t inflate anymore. I was upset and gutted. When Halloween came the next year, they stocked the blow up bat again and my mom bought me another. It’s still at her house somewhere! To this day I try to buy a bat themed product over Halloween.

I just thought! You know what I really looked forward to over Halloween? Greggs cupcakes with the Halloween rings on the icing! I always wanted the bat one, but one year I managed to collect all three! A pumpkin, a skull and of course the bat. Oh man, how easy we had it when we were kids. 😛

Are you a bigger fan of Bonfire Night or Halloween?

Bonfire Night. To me it’s just the icing on the cake for autumn! As soon as Bonfire Night is over that’s it, everyone gets excited and their bodies are ready for Christmas! As I said before, me and Dane went out for the first time for Bonfire Night last year and we loved it! We had such a good evening and I have some very fond memories of it. I can’t wait to find somewhere to go this year already.

Where is your dream destination to visit in Autumn?

I don’t know to be perfectly honest with you… I would like to go to Bristol again soon as whilst I felt a bit out of place when I went for our anniversary in June, I do love that little city and the artist side of it. Otherwise I don’t know really. I’m going to Essex/London on at the start of November so that will be lovely!

Do you always forget about the clocks going back?

Ha I actually did to be honest with you! I just had to Google when it is as I can’t for the life of me remember.

When do you usually start preparing for Christmas?

I already have to be fair. 😛 I usually do the start or end of October. I like it all done mid November to be honest with you so I have the rest of November and all of December to just chill out and enjoy Christmas and having money for meals out and German markets.

There we have it, that’s the autumn tag! I don’t think I’ve ever done this one before in all fairness and I LOVED it! 😀

So, who am I going to nominate?

Anyone who reads this post and loves autumn, I want you to give this tag a go! 😀 I would have tagged certain people, but I feel like the past few times I’ve just tagged the same couple of people recently and that just isn’t fair.

What’s your favourite season and why? Make sure to let me know in the comments down below!

Until next time, take care all and I hope you had a lovely weekend. 🙂

Guy Fawkes Night!

I mentioned months ago how Hallowe’en and Guy Fawkes night are both two of my favourite events of the entire year, so of course I had to write about bonfire night!

I won’t be going out for it this year as I’m house sitting, as well as working so I’ll be staying in and listening to fireworks going off outside… Plus I might be naughty and watch people’s fireworks near where I live.

For those who may not know about Guy Fawkes and how we came to have Bonfire Night, I shall leave a quote here about it (taken from Wikipedia):

Guy Fawkes Night, also known as Guy Fawkes Day, Bonfire Night and Firework Night, is an annual commemoration observed on 5 November, primarily in Great Britain. Its history begins with the events of 5 November 1605, when Guy Fawkes, a member of the Gunpowder Plot, was arrested while guarding explosives the plotters had placed beneath the House of Lords. Celebrating the fact that King James I had survived the attempt on his life, people lit bonfires around London, and months later the introduction of the Observance of 5th November Act enforced an annual public day of thanksgiving for the plot’s failure.

So now you know!

I love bonfire night, the smell it leaves behind and how everyone stands shivering by a fire, waiting for fireworks to go off and knowing the UK it’ll be raining at the same time.

There’s just something so relaxing and somewhat soothing about a huge bonfire and it’s something I miss standing in front of every year at bonfire parties. You can keep warm stood in front of it and if you have plenty of things to burn it’s fun to throw everything on there and watch it burn away and to hear the crackling noise it makes as it burns whatever it on the fire.

Everyone loves sparklers as a kid and still do as they grow up. Playing about with a sparkler as a child you were told to wear your woolly gloves to prevent your hands burning and a bucket of water would be on standby, ready for you to throw your finished sparkler into. As soon as it was lit you had about a minute to write whatever rubbish your heart desired and the first thing you’ll write is usually your name. Then after that you’ll write jargon such as “hello” or “I love you” or maybe even draw some stars or a heart. As soon as your minute is up, you shout, “I want another one!” before you’ve even thrown the used up sparkler into the bucket of water. These days I’m not as adorable and cute with a sparkler as I used to be, for a start I don’t wear gloves and whilst I still write my name, I then write a bunch of crude words and swear words, giggling my arse off as I pop the used up sparkler in the bucket of water. I can’t wait to buy some of these, I intend to try and do some fancy photography with them as soon as possible!

Image taken from weheartit.com

Fireworks are my least favourite part about bonfire night, of course with the bonfire itself taking first place, but there’s nothing wrong with watching some big and colourful explosions taking off in the sky, is there? They’re perfect to take pictures of and I’m so excited to try and take some pictures of some this year, as whilst I won’t be going out for bonfire night, there will be plenty of opportunities until New Years Eve/Day to take some. People go wild with fireworks at this time of year, even setting them off in the day whilst it’s still light, which drives me mad! By the way, when I was looking for the above image of fireworks, all I kept being shown was Katy Perry. Not impressed, I don’t like her music, especially that song… Eww.

I would have loved to have gone out this year for bonfire night, but alas due to work, thus being busy and my friends and family being busy too it won’t be happening this year. All I wanted to do was go somewhere where a huge bonfire would be so I could sit in front of it, try and roast my first marshmallow and maybe drink some hot apple cider. All this whilst being wrapped up in my warmest coat, scarf and gloves, and surrounded by some amazing people.

Alas, these dreams of mine can happen next year, hopefully when I’m moved out and have my own garden to hold a bonfire party in.

Are you doing anything for bonfire night? If so, let me know what you’re doing in the comments down below!

Until next time, take care and I hope everyone has a wonderful and safe bonfire night.

Why hello autumn, lovely to see you again!

Image taken from weheartit.com

Well it’s September and it marks a lot of things, but the start of the autumn season is one of them. It officially be upon us until 22nd September but I couldn’t wait until then to make this post! My favourite season by far is autumn, always has been since a young age, so I’m so happy for it to finally be coming upon us at the end of this month.

Here’s some of my personal reasons for loving Autumn so much!

The colours

Autumn colours are beautiful and show us how things can change so quickly, as every season does. The orange, red, yellow and brown are so gorgeous. One of the streets I walk down to go to places (train to Coventry, bus to town, work, etc) is lined with horse-chestnut trees and I remember fondly as a child at the start of every new school year going along the street with my dad picking up conkers to use in conker fights against each other. The last time we gathered any was the last time we ever did, as I grew out of it and we had gathered enough conkers to last us for years! I just love the sounds of the leaves crunching under my feet whilst I walk around and the lovely sunshine that we seem to get in September too, the sunshine we usually crave all summer. However this year we’ve had a great summer, which is a nice change!

Note-able dates

With autumn comes some two of my favourite holidays of the year,  Halloween and Guy Fawkes/Bonfire Night. Halloween is one of the funnest nights of the year, not matter how old you are as you get to dress up for one night as anything you want and have lots of fun! I only ever went treat or tricking once as a kid and I can safely say I hated it! Something about knocking on strangers doors and shouting, “TRICK OR TREAT!” felt wrong to me and half the time I was either ignored or greeted by someone with old out of date sweets. A few people gave me money and I ended up gathering £10, which I can’t remember for the life of me what I spent it on. Since going to university I have started to dress up for Halloween again, one year being a Japanese school girl, another year being Alex DeLarge from A Clockwork Orange, my favourite Halloween costume yet! This year I would like to be an asylum runaway so straight jacket, scars across mouth to show some sort of insanity. I was intending to do it last year but due to lack of time and funds, it was never done in time. I shall attempt it this year mind! As well as Halloween there is Bonfire Night, which I enjoy celebrating every year if I can. The smell of a fire burning is just lush and the noise of the cracking from what is burning on the fire is amazing too. I’m hoping to go somewhere to celebrate Bonfire Night this year, as I don’t recall doing so last year.

Hot chocolate

Autumn is the perfect excuse to drink a huge mug of your favourite hot chocolate. If not at home, then at your favourite coffee shop. I always make myself a mint hot chocolate in my 101 Dalmatians mug, nothing better than your favourite hot drink in a Disney Store mug. I always pop some marshmallows or hot chocolate on top if I fancy something special, and both if I’m feeling a little gloomy. The best hot chocolate though is Bailey’s hot chocolate, which I always treat myself to after a long day at work or out and about. I can see me having many of these over the weekend! Also as I work in a coffee shop, we have access to so many flavoured syrups! My favourites are mint (as already mentioned), salted caramel and crème brûlée. I love hot chocolate, really does perk me up on a cold day and when I’m feeling a little crappy.

Early nights

The clocks go back and the late nights go away until next spring and summer. I really like early nights, even though it makes traveling home from my partners feel a little dangerous, but I should be driving back and forth soon enough anyway. I like watching the sky go dark as I walk and travel home and even though my bedroom window. I’ll miss having my curtains open until 9pm and I’ve already had to start shutting them around 7.30pm-8pm. With the early nights, the weather gets chilly too, but for a while in September the weather will be a little on the warm side. Whether chilly or warm, early nights involve baggy jumpers, jeans and a big coat. As well as boots and a chunky scarf to finish off the warm look.

So if you hadn’t already noticed from the above, I LOVE AUTUMN! I intend to make the most of it this year too!

Do you like autumn too? If so, why? Let me know in the comments down below.

Apologies for being a little quiet of late, I’ve just been a tad busy with my new job, but all will be settled and back to normal soon.

Until next time, take care all!
