I don’t feel like I’ve bought myself a new lip product in forever… Probably hasn’t been since I was abroad in Fuerteventura and that was 7 months ago now. WOW! This is has just been due to lack of monies as well as not really wearing lipsticks.
I love wearing lipstick but since starting my office job I find I love wearing lip creams and lip stains more often. On a recent Superdrug shop I picked up one of the Collection velvet kiss lip creams and I opted for the shade Rosie. I’ve used the Collection lip creams in the past but they used to be called Collection 2000 then and the lip creams were called cream puff (you can read the review here for one I used to own back in the day! :P). They also didn’t stock as many shades then as they do now!
These lip creams are exactly the same as they used to be back in the day, which made me so happy when using it for the first time. I guess I wish I’d picked up one of my oldie but goldie shades, Cotton Candy (which is now just called Cotton).
But for now, it’s time to talk about Rosie (which I also recently mentioned on my March favourites)!
This is a gorgeous blue red shade which is just a classy red lipstick colour and one anyone can wear, in my opinion.
This is a lip cream and oh man it really IS a cream! It’s so comfortable and easy to apply to the lips and feels lightweight and like you’re not wearing anything throughout the day. My only issue with applying however, is if you’re in a rush this won’t be straight forward to apply without a lip liner, but if you have some time it’ll be fine. I find using this with a lip liner causes it to last a hell of a lot longer than without one. I also found the colour is stronger with a lip liner underneath too.
With this being a lip cream it’s not glossy and it’s not matte either like a liquid lipstick. It’s the same consistency as a normal lipstick would be, it’s just more comfortable to wear for how long it lasts.
This is incredibly pigmented though and I find with just one dip into the tube you’ll get a good payoff on your lips. Maybe two if you want to ensure there’s an even application.
If I use a lip liner with this I’ll blot the lip liner before applying the lip cream itself, which I also blot too to try and help it last longer! I’m not had a problem to be honest with doing this. The only time I’d found it’s worn off quickly is when eating but I think that’s normal… It’s not a liquid lipstick. 😉
For the 5ml you get in the tube and from what I’ve learnt in the past from using these before, that 5ml lasts BLOODY AGES! Unless you use this everyday then you will get your moneys worth.
May I also add this has an amazing scent to it! It reminds me of the MAC lipsticks that have that yummy vanilla scent behind it. For people who don’t like their lip products scented, this isn’t strong in my opinion but you could always give the tester a smell in store and see for yourself if it would put you off.
These are also really easy to remove with a bit of make up remover and a cotton pad, or even a baby wipe.
I’ve gone back to my old review when these were first out in 2013 (God I feel old…) to compare things from then, to now.
Now time to cover the negatives that have been commented on time and time again by various different blogs. These products CAN be drying but I find that if I put more of the product on or some clear lip balm then there’s no issue to be had. I usually pop some Vaseline, Palmers lip balm or Chap Stick over the top and I have no problem. This being said, for all I know during the colder months my lips may dry more with these products, but I put that down to the weather, not the product itself.
I remember commenting how people had complained about them being drying. I’ve never had a problem with these being drying, but because these days I wear lip balm more than lip products I feel like I NEED to apply a lip balm all the time. That’s just me, it’s not due to a drying feeling.
These products are amazing, my own flaw and complaint with them is that they only have four shades to choose from, but the two shades that I own and like (Cotton Candy and Fairy Cake) are pretty damn good and will both work throughout any season.
I love that I wrote this because almost 5 years later they’ve FINALLY brought out some more bloody shades out! The 4 shades they originally had has now upped to 10 now! It’s crazy! I would love to pick up more of these shades, especially Cotton which is the pink shade I used to wear all the time when I was younger. They appear to have discontinued Fairy Cake which is really sad. I’d love to have that shade again, even if it’s changed names.
Of course as I always do with lip product reviews, I show off my face wearing them! 😛
So overall and almost 5 years later, what do I think of the newer versions of Collection’s lip creams? I think they’re still as good now as they were back in the day, if not better! We now have more shades to choose from and at the same great price as they used to be!
I definitely recommend these for anyone who wants to give lip creams a go, especially if you like either nude or darker shades.
Will you be picking up Rosie or any of the other shades? Do you already own one or a couple of these already? Make sure to let me know what you think of these in the comments down below!
Until next time, take care all and I hope you have a lovely weekend.
Happy Easter everyone! I do apologise that this post is a day late (well I’m being naughty and putting it up as if it was actually on time… ;P) but it was my first Easter that I’ve had a 4 day weekend and not had to work! I also spent it chilling with Dane, as well as with friends and family which is the best way to spend it.
Now I’m finally getting the chance to work on my monthly favourites whilst I watch some gaming YouTube videos. Finally, here are my favourites for March!
Palmolive Naturals Milk & Honey Shower Gel Cream.
Not long ago I picked up this HUGE pump shower gel cream and I only got it for £2.00/£2.50 from Morrison’s on a food shop and at first I regretted it but this was near to half price so I was pretty happy at the bargain I grabbed. ANYWAY I started using this at the start of the month and it’s lasting agggges! You only need a little and it foams up gorgeously as well as leaving you smelling amazing and feeling lovely and soft. The milk and honey Palmolive shower cream reminds me of Fuerteventura for various reasons, the main one being back in the day when we first had the house there we took loads of “home comforts” and this was one of mine that my mom bought for me, so the scent always reminds me of my younger years there. Now it’s coconut scents that do it for me! 😛
Diesel Loverdose Eau de Parfum.
I’ve been using my Miss Dior Blooming Bouquet EDT for what feels like forever and halfway through March I decided it was time to start using something else, something that I love to the moon and back. Loverdose by Diesel is one of my favourite perfumes and this is actually my second bottle now! It reminds me of my best friend Jacqui as when it first came out she got a bottle for her birthday and showed me it. Now when I wear it it reminds me of her. It has a unique fragrance and reminds me of a mixture of liquorice (which is actually contains!) and tequila. If you’ve never given this gorgeous perfume a sniff, then get on it! Even if you don’t like liquorice, you’ll love this. 😛
Collection Velvet Kiss Moisturising Lip Cream in shade Rosie.
Whilst on a quick shopping trip to Superdrug in March I was having a nose around the Collection stand for my staple eyebrow gel and noticed the lip creams. I used to use these back in the day when they first launched and during the summer months I used these to death! I decided it was time to pick up a new one, but instead of going to the shades I used to use (Cotton being one of them) I decided to pick up the red shade Rosie. I love wearing red lipsticks and I actually haven’t worn lipstick properly for months. Since buying this I’ve used it about a handful of times alone and with a lip liner and it’s so good! It lasts ages and feels so comfortable when wearing it. I’ll definitely be reviewing this in April. You can check out the review one of the old shades Fairy Cake here for the time being.
Nails inc Nail Polish in shade Dream Dust.
I feel like I haven’t worn my unicorn Nails inc polishes for ages! So I decided to grab Dream Dust to wear every other week throughout the month and throughout Easter. I forgot what a gorgeous shade Dream Dust is to be honest with you. It’s a shimmer gold glitter with a mauve base shade. It’s so shimmery and is definitely an awkward shade to remove but whatever! It’s a shade you can wear throughout the summer, especially for holidays! This lasts a long time too so I’ll definitely make a habit of wearing it more often at work. I loved Nails inc polishes back in the day when I was a student but then I sort of fell out of love with them. Since picking up the Beauty of Dreams gift set before Christmas last year (you can read about it here!) I’ve realised that Nails inc are still an amazing nails polish brand, if not even better now than they used to be!
I recently started using a new shampoo and this is actually the same if not similar to one I use when I’m in Fuerteventura (which you can see here) as it’s just one of the best and affordable! When I came home I searched for this shampoo straight away and bought that as well as another type of sulphate-free shampoo. Since starting to use this shampoo my hair has felt so smooth and looked less frizzy too. I’m so glad I started being sulphate free with shampoos this past year as it’s really helped my hair and to be honest since finding budget friendly shampoos, it’s helped my wallet too. 😛 I really recommend the L’Oreal sulphate free shampoos if you want to give this type of stuff a go as they’re super cheap from Superdrug and more often then not, on offer too.
So now my beauty favourites are done, time to talk about the miscellaneous favourites of the month!
I feel like I’ve mentioned this anime on my blog in the past and I’m pretty sure it was when Dane wrote a post on here with me not long ago (you can read it here). He introduced me to this anime when it first started but like he always has a habit of doing, he got me to start watching it at episode 3. I watched a couple of episodes but I just couldn’t feel like I was getting into it. Then a couple of weeks ago he said he’d watched episode 10 and that I needed to as well. We started watching the anime together from beginning to episode 11 and oh man, I have fallen in love with the show. Every single episode is also heartbreaking and I was silently crying at most if not all of the episodes. I’ll copy and paste the synopsis as I’m awful when writing what stuff is about without worrying of ruining it!
Synopsis (source: Anime Expo) – There are words Violet heard on the battlefield, which she cannot forget. These words were given to her by someone she holds dear, more than anyone else. She does not yet know their meaning. A certain point in time, in the continent of Telesis. The great war which divided the continent into North and South has ended after four years, and the people are welcoming a new generation. Violet Evergarden, a young girl formerly known as “the weapon,” has left the battlefield to start a new life at CH Postal Service. There, she is deeply moved by the work of “Auto Memories Dolls,” who carry people’s thoughts and convert them into words.
If you fancy giving this anime a go you can find it over on Netflix where it’s in English. It’s being aired at the same time as in Japan, which is amazing. It’s such a beautiful anime both in the way it looks as well as the story line.
I remember going to the cinema to watch Cloverfield and all the rumours around it of people running out of the cinema to be sick due to the motion controls of the camera. FYI I was fine. 😛 I loved the film at the time and have since then watched it about a handful of times. When 10 Cloverfield Lane was announced I wanted to go and watch it, but no one else was really arsed. Years later it was put up on Netflix and me and Dane decided to give it a go. This is a film that really keeps you on the edge of your seat for various different things! You’re constantly wondering what is happening outside, as well as inside the bunker that the three characters are staying in. You have some awesome character development which is quickly snatched away from you by the time you start getting to know them and liking them. If you haven’t watched 10 Cloverfield Lane, then I definitely recommend it!
Favourite Book – I Am A Hero Omnibus Vol. 1 and 2.
This was one (well technically two) of the presents I got Dane for Christmas just gone and after he read Vol. 1 he gave it to me to show me some awesome scenes in the book. I checked them out and as it was halfway through the manga I decided to give it a read for myself and now I’ve ended up reading more than Dane has considering he’s only read the first volume and I’ve now read both the omnibus volumes he owns. It’s about a zombie apocalypse that hits Japan, with our “hero” being an anxious manga artist who sees things late at night and dreams of being a huge manga artist once again. It’s so well drawn and very realistic, you’re just hooked on it and want to keep reading. I actually finished the second omnibus volume in almost two hours… FYI it is a huge book! That and I’m a slow reader. 😛 Hopefully he won’t read this post but I intend to get Dane the rest of the omnibus volumes for his birthday.
Favourite Song/Album – Various…
Meh I wasn’t really sure what music to mention on my blog this month as I’ve just been listening to all sorts really… Mostly stuff I’ve heard on the radio at work, as well as some oldies I love. I’ll post above some of the songs I’m loving and quickly why below.
Dua Lipa – New Rules – I don’t know what it is that I love about this song and originally I was into an 80’s remix I heard on the radio first. I just find the song is really catchy and Dua Lipa has a lovely singing voice too.
Joyce Manor – Make Me Dumb – I first heard this game on Forza Horizon 3 as Dane bought it aggggges ago to play on his Xbox One and since then I’ve loved it! It’s such a catchy and upbeat rock song and due to that I just had to have it on my iPod for drives to and from places.
Paloma Faith – Crybaby – I don’t know what it is about this song but I love EVERYTHING about it! Paloma Faith is an artist I’ve listened to more of since 2016 and her voice is amazing, as well as her lyrics. This song is one that you’d listen to when you feel like crap and you need some encouraging words to listen to. It’s not a slow sad song, it’s an upbeat “pull yourself together, it’ll be okay” type song and I think that’s what I love the most about it.
YES FOR ONCE IT ISN’T PERSONA 5 ON MY LIST! Sorry I love Persona 5 so it will come up a lot on here… In fact be prepared to hear about it next month as the anime series for it starts in less than a week now! 😀 Anyway… I got myself a new 2DS XL recently (which I’ll be writing about at some point on my blog) and I feel like since picking this up, I’ve been picking up my DS a hell of a lot more now I have a new one. I’m going to put it down to the screens being shit loads bigger and better at that! I picked up this game the day before I flew to Fuerteventura in September last year and Dane loved the look of it so much he got himself a copy too! Basically you play the hero and an evil guy has come and taken everyone’s faces, so you need to go and fight him and his minions to get them back. As the name suggests, it’s based on your Mii’s, the little customised characters you create on your 3DS and Wii, I don’t think the Switch has really bothered with it. I was close to finishing it before we came back from Fuerteventura but never did. HOWEVER, since picking up my 2DS XL I’ve played more and oh man, I forgot how much I love it! It’s an RPG game but it’s such a lax one at that, which is why I love it so much. Basically if you loved Tamodachi Life on the 3DS and you love RPG’s then you will love this! They do have a demo on the Nintendo eShop so check it out.
PHEW finally I have my favourites from March written down and done! I swear I can’t believe how quickly the year is going already and it’s my last day off of the Easter holidays too. SAD TIMES! 😛
I’m off to go and chill out, whilst attempting to eat some of my chocolate eggs. I bought myself one this year and received one from my manager as well as Dane’s parents. I’m not a massive chocolate person, so my chocolate eggs will probably last months. 😛
How many chocolate eggs did you get for Easter? Also, what are your favourites from March? Make sure to let me know in the comments down below!
First of all I want to apologise for the fact that this post is 3 days late! I always try and post my favourites posts on the 1st of each month but alas I was super busy the weekend just gone and only yesterday I got to write-up this post and schedule it for today.
I’m sure next month my favourites posts will be back on schedule and live on my blog for the 1st!
Anyhoo… I really can’t believe it’s March already! 2014 isn’t just going by quickly but it’s also seeming to have its ups and downs too.
My spending ban took a turn for the worst towards the end of February and I ended up spending more money than I was meant to… Oh dear… BUT I’m going to be good for the rest of my spending ban now, which comes to an end in May! Thanks to my spending ban I have saved quite a bit of money and I’m really pleased with myself.
So this post has waited long enough to be written, let’s get it done! I apologise now for one of the images, my camera died just after I snapped the picture and sadly one of the items on it is blurred. 😦
Guerlain La Petite Robe Noire EDP (mentioned here).
Back at the start of November 2013 my Mom bought me this after she came back home from her holiday away and it was a lovely present! I had asked her to pick this up for me, but I was going to give her the money for it, which she wouldn’t let me give her! I absolutely adore the La Petite Robe Noire perfumes, including the EDT and the newest edition La Petite Robe Noire Couture, which smells beautiful! This perfume is definitely one for colder months in my opinion as it contains warming scents such as black cherry, black rose, liquorice, etc. I wore it a lot for work as well as on my days off during February as I was in the mood for a sweet and warming scent. This one is rather strong is you spray a lot of it and I find that a couple of sprays on my neck does the job if I don’t mind anything strong, or I’ll spray on the backs of my knees and my wrists if I don’t want it to be too strong. It’s a gorgeous perfume and I know in the future I’m going to get the EDT version of this too, which I nearly bought last Wednesday as it was only £27.00 for a 30ml bottle!
Elemis Collagen Cleansing Balm.
This was something my Mom gave to me after purchasing a huge Elemis gift set and not wanting another cleanser, offered this to me to try. At first I was rather skeptical about it as it’s rather greasy, but once you get it wet it turns into a moisturising cream. I was worried for a couple of days after starting to use this that it wouldn’t work with my skin and if anything would break me out or cause rashes due to my sensitive skin. When it comes to skin care, Elemis products don’t work with my skin and cause allergic reactions but this one has been amazing and I love it a lot! This product is for all skin types and the balm is said to help remove make-up, as well as dirt and grime that could/will have been picked up throughout the day. It absorbs excess oils on the skin and remove impurities without leaving your skin feeling dry and stripped of any nourishment. It leaves the skin on my face feeling lovely and soft and it makes a nice change to what my cleansers usually do to my skin! A little of this goes a long way too, which is great!
bareMinerals Perfect Light Mineral Veil & Flawless Application Face Brush.
I’d said for ages how I wanted to get some sort of face powder that could prevent any oily patches on my nose and forehead, as whilst at work whenever I looked in the mirror in the toilets it would bother me to the point where I felt I looked greasy and dirty. My Mom knew of my paranoia and that I wanted a powder and recommended that she had seen this one on QVC so bless her she ordered herself the huge set that this came in and gave me this. I didn’t think I would like it at first as I worried it would give a tone to my skin, which I didn’t want and as this is a light powder not a translucent powder, it worried me even more! However when this was applied to my face it didn’t leave any sort of shade or colouring at all! Since then I’ve been using this and it’s a lovely product! The only flaw I have with it is that it really does show off the dry patches on my chin and the skin by the sides of my mouth, which annoys me as then I need to apply aqueous cream afterwards. Like I said though, this doesn’t happen all the time and I know it’s just the rash/dry skin I have on my face affecting the Mineral Veil. The little Brush that this came with is super soft and picks up plenty of the Mineral Veil as well as feeling soft and applying the product well and evenly all over my face. It’s such a cute brush and I love it!
The Body Shop Strawberry Shower Gel (mentioned here).
I’ve expressed before on my blog about how much I LOVE this shower gel! When I was little my Mom would buy me a bottle of this once a month for me to use before school and due to that it left behind some fond memories. Whenever I smell this shower gel now it just reminds me of when I was little and because of that it’ll always be a smell I’ll love. I’m currently (as you can see!) getting through this bottle, but I have a huge bottle to start using soon! I really like using this shower gel alongside my Soap & Glory Butter Yourself Ultra Nourishing Fruity Liquid Moisture Lotion as they’re both fruity and sweet, I really can’t wait for the summer to use these two hand in hand! A little of this shower gel does go a long way and with a couple of squibs on a sponge you can get a lovely lather which will leave you smelling beautiful, as well as having soft skin. My boyfriend has grown to be a huge fan of this shower gel and whenever he comes over to mine he uses this in the shower. I bought him a little sample size of this as well as the hand sanitizer in Strawberry too, which smells exactly the same as the shower gel! I love The Body Shop’s shower gels but this one will always be my favourite.
MAC Lipstick in Lady Bug.
My friend Mali over at maliberrymakeup recently (and still is) had a blog sale and as usual I had a look at what bargains I could snap up and when I noticed she had a MAC lipstick up there I got rather excited for it, but within a few hours it was down as “on hold” and I forgot about it. Days later it was still the same so I asked if it was available to buy, which it was! So I snapped it up and days later it was at mine and I wore it out for the afternoon. I prefer to wear this with a lip liner as not only does it show off the colour better, but it helps it last all day! I’ve been wearing this loads for work as it just looks gorgeous and it feels lovely too, plus the fact it lasts ages means I don’t need to keep topping it up on busy days. I’ll be writing a huge review for this really soon, I’m rather excited about it as I love this lipstick so much, it’s fast turned into one of my favourite MAC lipsticks.
Barry M Lip Liner in Shade 3.
I bought this lip liner months ago to accompany my MUA liquid lipstick but this has pretty much began to be used with anything and everything red that I own! I’d never wear this alone, but I recently discovered that with a red lip gloss over the top this works wonders and lasts ages! I use this with Lady Bug the most, alongside Lush’s Santa Baby. I like to use a lip balm first, rub away any excess and then apply the lip liner. I do this because it gives a creamier application for the lip liner, instead of it dragging along the lips, which I hate! I’m thinking of reviewing this in the near future as I just love it so much and I really can see me picking up more of Barry M’s lip liners as they’re gorgeous and for £2.99 each, worth every penny!
Collection 2000 (or Collection as they’re now called) Lock N Hold Lip Gloss in Break Dance.
As I wear a lot of lipsticks for work, sometimes I like to just give my lips a lot, especially if they’re a little dry so I usually opt for a lip gloss to give me a pop of colour and this is the one I reached for the most. I love this lip gloss and I’d love to try more of the Lock N Hold glosses as they have some nice pale shades, perfect for spring and summer! Break Dance is a peach colour and it smells of yummy sweets, which is a bonus! This lip gloss is said to last 6 hours, but this is total rubbish and doesn’t even last an hour on the lips, whether you’re drinking or eating, or anything like that. This isn’t a sticky lip gloss either, which makes is even better for wearing whilst I’m busy at work. The wand is a strange shape and not like the usual doe foot applicator, which makes a lovely change. These are only £2.99 each and well worth the money! I bought mine yonks ago and at one point used it every day and whenever I went out in the summer time, so it lasts ages as you don’t need a whole lot.
I thought I had mentioned this more than once, but alas I have not and for that I’m really surprised! I LOVE this lip balm! It’s like a petroleum texture that not only smells but tastes of green apples, which I love. It doesn’t take long to apply to the lips and is therefore perfect for on the go. I use this loads at work and soon enough I’m probably going to need to pick up another one as I just can’t NOT have this lip balm in my bag or even by my bed on my bedside table. It works great underneath and on top of lipsticks too, which is always a bonus. Whenever I apply this someone will usually ask me, “What’s that smell? Did you spray something?” because the smell of this is just so strong. It won’t break the bank to buy and probably costs a £1.00, if not less than this.
T-Zone Rapid Action Spot Zapping Gel.
This is one of T-Zone’s newest products and has replaced their Spot Zapping Stick. When I couldn’t find that in store I picked the gel up instead and I LOVE it! It cost me 99p and so far is lasting me a long time. As soon as I feel a spot coming up or if one of recovering from being popped I put some of this on and within a day the spot redness has reduced or even dried up and near enough vanished. I’ve already picked up another tube as I was worrying that my current tube (one in the picture) was close to running out, but it turns out I was wrong and it seems like there is loads left! I have contemplated trying out more of the T-Zone range, as for years I have loved their products and they’ve always done me good. Any recommendations would be lovely by the way.
L’Occitane Cherry Blossom Hand Cream (mentioned here).
In January I received some free sample hand creams from L’Occitane, like many L’Occitane fans did! In the little knitted pouch I was given I received their Cherry Blossom hand cream and I used it quite frequently throughout February. It smells subtly sweet and isn’t super thick, but a nice gel like cream that doesn’t leave my hands feeling greasy. It leaves them feeling and looking really soft, as well as smelling fresh and beautiful which is always a bonus. I have smelt L’Occitane’s Cherry Blossom range before, including their EDT and it’s one of my favourite ranges by them, alongside the Almond one. I would definitely pick up the travel size, maybe even the full size version of this as it’s just lovely! I love the cute little sizes of this as it means I can chuck it into my hand bag and it won’t take up much room, as well as this I can keep it in my pocket of my jacket or even my jeans.
So those were my favourites from February! I apologise once again for how long it took for me to write and publish this on my blog, but finally it’s here and my empties post will follow tomorrow… I hope!
What were your favourites in February? Let me know in the comments below and as usual if you have any questions in relation to any of the products mentioned, feel free to leave any questions in the comments about those too.
Until next time all take care and see you next time.
I heard about the cream puff lip creams by Collection 2000 months ago from a random blog I happened to stumble across. They sounded like great products to try out but when I researched more about them I found that they’re like Marmite, people either love them or hate them. Many commented positively how long-lasting and creamy they are, with four great shades to choose from whilst others commented negatively how they’re too drying due to their matt finish and this caused their lips to chap and be sore.
For £2.99 each I decided it wouldn’t break the bank to give one of these a go, even if I was one of the negative commentators. I know own two of the four shades and they’re my go to lip product at the moment.
In this review I’ll be talking about Fairy Cake, the second cream puff I purchased.
Fairy Cake is the third shade in the cream puff collection and is one of the pinker shades. It’s a gorgeous coral pink shade with orange undertones, perfect for spring and summer! For a 5ml tube this stuff lasts for ages!
This goes onto the lips like a cream gloss and dries like a matt lipstick, which is great. However if you put loads on it’ll take longer to dry, not good if you want to give someone a kiss. Due to it drying as a matt it lasts aggges and by just adding some more can make it last a little bit longer. It smells amazing too, just like a red velvet cake or vanilla frosting.
I love wearing this product during the day and on nights out due to its staying power and since I’m not longer single this stuff is perfect for it’s staying power whilst having cheeky kisses here and there.
Now to compare to what other people have said, whether they be positive or negative comments.
As mentioned this product is really long-lasting and with a simple touch up lasts even longer, which is perfect for me as there’s nothing worse than wearing a lipstick that feathers! I love going out shopping in the day and not feel the need to worry if I need to top my lipstick up or not but as this is like a gloss, it’s really easy to apply some more on the move if I need to.
The product is described as velvety soft, which is pretty accurate! It’s like applying a cream onto the lips, which is obviously where it got its name from and thus leaves my lips feeling soft and looking great.
There are four shades to choose from, Cotton Candy which is a creamy bubblegum pink shade (which I also own), Powder Puff which is a light brown nude shade and Angel Delight which is a darker brown nude shade. I’m not a fan of brown or nude so I doubt I’ll be purchasing the other two shades in the collection. I’ll also be writing a review on Cotton Candy in the future!
These products are amazing, my own flaw and complaint with them is that they only have four shades to choose from, but the two shades that I own and like (Cotton Candy and Fairy Cake) are pretty damn good and will both work throughout any season.
I definitely recommend these products if you fancy trying something different to your average lip stick or gloss and if you’re lazy like me and find it a chore to apply more lipstick whilst on the move. These go on quick and easy and look great!
As you can see I like sitting on my bath, pulling funny faces and all for you lovely readers! The product works and looks great and my weird face shows that perfectly.
Would you give these a go for £2.99? If so which shade would you get? Let me know in the comments!
