November Wish List ’22

First of all apologies for the silence from me for two weeks! As I mentioned in my last blog post (October Favourites ’22) both me and Dane were due to have some time off work together, and we pretty much chilled all the week, and went for a chilled holiday the weekend. It was a much deserved and needed break for us both and we were sort of gutted to be back at work.

We just spent a lot of time together, which was also very overdue. We live together, so we are always just a room away from each others company, but sometimes we might be doing our own thing, whether that be online with friends, or solo. I’ve been spending a lot of time on my cross stitch projects lately, whereas Dane has been playing a lot of games, so it was nice to come together to do things we both love… Which was playing games. 😛 Then over the weekend we went to North Wales to stay at a shepherds hut, have a go at clay throwing, and of course explore some parts of the area. I’m going to talk more about our trip soon, so keep eyes peeled for it at the end of the month on my November favourites. 😉

I’ve realised whilst putting this wish list together that not only is it very clothing and plushie heavy, but it’s also very Pokemon heavy as well! Not that there’s anything wrong with any of those things, but if you aren’t a massive Pokemon fan… This months favourites may not be for you. 😛

• Pokemon Center Vulpix & Alolan Vulpix Snowflake Knit Sweater – (link)

Christmas is just around the corner and with that, the Pokemon Center here in the UK and more have launched their Pokemon Christmas goods! Last year I purchased a Pokemon Christmas jumper, and I didn’t plan to again this year. However, when I saw this Vulpix snowflake sweater appear on the website, I just knew I had to get it. At this moment in time I haven’t ordered it, but, I do potentially plan to when I’m paid at the end of the month. I intend to wear the shit out of my Eevee Christmas jumper this year, but I love the look of this one for winter overall, as it doesn’t exactly shout “Christmas” at you, does it? It’s not cheap at £39.99, and the size I planned to get is currently sold out, so we’ll see what happens. 🙂 I remember last year a lot of people bought the Christmas jumpers and quickly sold them online in January.

• Lumichee 100% Cotton Batbat Hoodie – (link)

Lumichee is an independent store/brand I’ve been in love with for a while now, especially since my own goodies from the brand arrived last month that I ordered! I picked up a plush, and a hoodie and on this wish list I have the same types of items wished after all over again. The Lumichee hoodies are SO COMFORTABLE and by far my favourites in my wardrobe alongside my Pokemon Center UK 2019 one. They’re really baggy too, which is ideal for me as I love an oversized hoodie. I love Lumichee’s Batbat design, so the fact they have released one makes me happy. This probably won’t be something I purchase for myself until after Christmas, for obvious reasons. 😛

• Pokemon Center Plush Flareon Pokémon Fuwa Fuwa Daki – (link)

This is up the top of my wish list right now! Recently the Pokemon Center announced three new fuwa fuwa daki plushies would be available to buy, Vaporeon, Jolteon, and Flareon. These haven’t hit the UK Pokemon Center yet, which I’m hoping they do for a few reasons… The first one (and main one at that) being the cost for shipping is very high… £30 plus in fact, which is more than the plush itself. The second reason being I could maybe ask for one as a Christmas/birthday present then. I’m wary only Dane would order from Japan, but even then I don’t think it’s something he wants to do at the moment. Whilst I’d love all three of these cute fluffy babies, the one plush I want the most is the Flareon. It’s cute little surprised face is adorable, and my favourite out of the three. We’ll see if I get this cutie in the future or not. 😛

• Lumichee “Monochrome” Mini Batbat Plush Series 4 – (link)

The other Lumichee item, and another plushie to boot. 😛 The Batbat plush is one I’ve wanted for about two years now, as I do love bats. 🙂 I recently received my sakura inspired Mousemoth, which I do adore, but I still want a Batbat… This monochrome version is really cute and it’s mini too, so it won’t take over my plushie collection too much! 😛 Like the Batbat hoodie, I do plan on ordering that and the plush for myself after Christmas!

• Pokémon Scarlet & Violet – Dual Pack Steelbook Edition – (link)

The new Pokemon game is out in less than a week now and I am SO EXCITED! I’ve had the dual pack pre-ordered since June and I’m ready for it now. I’ve watched all the trailers, and in all honesty I’ve also seen all the spoilers. I’m sick of seeing other people play it, I want to have my turn now! I ordered the dual pack as Dane will play Scarlet, and I’ll play Violet. We have Friday off work to play this all day together, as well as over the weekend, which I am beyond ready for! If you haven’t watched any of the trailers for the new games, go and do it! I know I’ve linked the dual pack, but I’m wary that a lot of places have sold out of this now, so keep eyes peeled for where you can grab your copy/copies. 🙂

• Pokemon Gastly Winter Coat – (link)

Finally we have the item I’m probably most after on this list, which is a Pokemon themed winter coat, and of course if you didn’t gather by the name, it’s inspired by Gastly! This is from EMP, an alternative fashion website I frequent to every now and then, more so at Christmas for gifts for Dane. I saw a Twitter account share this coat, and some other Pokemon fashion items from this EMP Gastly range and fell in love straight away! If it wasn’t for the fact I’ve had so much stuff to pay for lately, as well as Christmas looming, I think I’d have bought this coat for myself by now! I’m semi hopeful I can pick it up for myself after Christmas as it would be a nice addition to my wardrobe. I love how long it hangs at the back, as well as the hood. Plus, it’s a duffle coat style, which is one of my favourites! I currently own and wear a red duffle coat during the colder months, which I don’t really want to replace.

So, there we have it guys, my wish list for November! Realistically from this point until after Christmas, I probably won’t be buying myself a lot of stuff, as that’s what Christmas is kind of for, as well as my birthday in January.

November Wish List ’20

I still can’t believe it’s November already and less than a month now until December. It’s crazy how quick 2020 has gone by considering all the crap we’ve had to deal with – e.g. COVID but at least we can try and have Christmas to look forward to, eh? I already know LOADS of people who have put their Christmas trees up because they’ve been looking forward to do something.

Anyhoo with Christmas lurking I REALLY struggled with this months wish list due to wanting to hold off on adding items I’ve added for Christmas. Realistically they aren’t items for my wish list this month, they’re not things I could buy if I wanted to, due to the fact Dane may have bought them me for Christmas and birthday.

My wish list this month is mostly really colourful and cute and honestly I would love to pick up some of these items, but I don’t think I can afford to… I’m so skint this month after starting my Christmas shopping but I have no regrets. I’m really excited to spoil people close to me and show them how much I love and care for them after such a shitty year.

Anyhoo… Let’s get on with the wish list!

• The Bath Bae Oh So Slushie Bath Soak – (link)

This is an indie bath brand that I REALLY want to try! I’ve heard and seen nothing but good things about The Bath Bae and I really need to give them a go. At the moment I have so much bath stuff to use up, but when I time comes I’ll be ordered some of their goodies with the Oh So Slushie scent, which is described as one of my favourite drinks… blue raspberry and chery slushies! From what I’ve seen of people sharing The Bath Bae on Instagram you get a LOT of product for the money and that’s something that really does appeal to me! Alongside the bath soak you can also pick up bath sparkle, sparkle rocks and bath cubes. The bath cubes is something else I’d really love to give a go too!

• Sugarnova Beary Cute Gummies Washi Tape – (link)

I recently made a purchase with Sugarnova where I ordered some of the enamel pins from their Halloween collection (Lollipop Ghost and Trick or Treat Yo’Self Ghost) but some of the packaging they arrived in had been secured with some super adorable washi tape and I fell in love with it. So much so that I cut around the washi tape and used it as a bookmark for my work diary! I was going to reach out to Sugarova via Instagram to ask where/who it was from, but I discovered through their Instagram grid that it was in fact their own design and washi tape. I WISH I HAD OF KNOWN. I WOULD HAVE ORDERED SOONER! So, in the future I’ll be purchasing this washi tape… A couple of rolls to be honest with you as it’s so cheap, less than £3.00! The design is a row of gummy bears doing unique poses based on their colours, my favourite being the little red bear.

• FromCaliko Pokemon Eeveelution Double Sided Zip Bag – (link)

This is a zip bag I have wanted for years but just never bought due to the shipping costs… 😦 It went out of stock a while ago and I was wary it might never return. However, a few nights ago I checked their Etsy store AND it was back in stock! I really want to pick it up to be honest with you as it’s such an adorable design… But I don’t have a bloody clue what I would use it for at the moment, apart from maybe some stuff to do with my blog content, stickers, etc etc. I’ve shown it to Dane so I may get it for Christmas… Who knows. xD Also my friend Sarah over at Raiin Monkey reviewed this zip back over on her blog so make sure to go and check that out!

• Jenni Illustrations Soda Dog Keychain – (link)

If you guys didn’t read my post about Jenni Illustrations a few months back (you can read it here) I mentioned how much I love her original character Soda Dog and how I need more items with him on, including the keychain. I would still really love this keychain that I would add to my Isabelle ita bag! It just reminds me of Japan so much and considering that was the best thing about 2020, I’d like to keep my love of Japan and memories going for as long as possible.

• Black Milk Clothing Sporty Stripes Hosiery 2.0 – (link)

As regular readers of my blog will know I have been a fan of Black Milk Clothing pretty much since my blog started in 2012. Over the years I have purchased from the second hand/brand new with tags from sellers on both eBay and Depop. However this year I decided to start buying direct from Black Milk Clothing when a collection launched that I liked the look of, alas Pokemon (you can read about what I picked up here) and Animal Crossing (my goods are still to arrive…). I would love to pick up these sporty stripes leggings/tights when they’re back in stock as they look amazing! I’ve been after something like this for a while now to wear with dresses that come up a little on the short side. The Halloween collection contains an orange pair and the Christmas collection contains a red and green pair. I’d love the red pair too, but I don’t think I could make them work with as much as the black pair.

• EMP Deadpool Peek A Boo T-Shirt – (link)

Finally we have some Deadpool merch to share and I feel like I haven’t mentioned Deadpool much on my blog since the second film came out in 2018! I was looking around EMP for some Christmas present ideas (both for me and other people) and found this really cute Deadpool t-shirt where he’s peeping out of the pocket on the left hand side. There was a point where I wore these style of t-shirts all the time so whenever I see them nowhere days they do remind me of 23-25 year old Nat. 😛

So that’s all the items for this months wish list post! I would really love to buy some goodies from this list but with Christmas presents taking priority… I need to buy goodies for others instead. 😛

30th Birthday Wish List

It is officially my birthday in 2 days time and I will be turning the the big three-O… Which semi depresses me and it sort of doesn’t at the same time. Ageing is going to happen and that’s just something I need to deal with now, as well as in the future.

I thought it would be worth sharing with you guys (as I always do) what I have on my wish list this month, which happens to include what I would like for my birthday… But if I don’t – I would probably just buy it myself. 🙂

• Pandora Blue Sparkling Crown Solitaire Ring (link)

A few Christmas/birthday’s ago my mom bought me a gorgeous Pandora ring – the one with the red heart (you can see it here) and I still love it to this day! I wear it pretty much all the time and it makes me think of my mom all the time. I have since spied a few other Pandora rings I like the look of, but never enough to take the plunge to ask for them as gifts or buy them myself… Until now! I saw this ring before Halloween whilst out shopping with a friends and I fell in love! It’s a gorgeous blue stone and it really stands out. I’m hoping to get to wear alongside my red heart ring, either above or below, whichever way looks best! I have a feeling Dane has bought me this… But we shall see! 😛

• Nintendo Tokyo Animal Crossing Smart Phone Ring (no link)

When I first bought my iPhone XR I bought a PopSocket to use when holding the phone. For the short time that I used it, it really did benefit me but at the same time it taught me that I should be holding my phone better. Since then I have missed having something on the back of my phone to hold onto, especially if I’m out and about and have my hands full. I saw these kawaii smart phone rings for sale in the Nintendo Tokyo store and I just have to have them! I plan to pick up both when I visit the store in Japan (as well as so much more Animal Crossing merch!) so that I can use them both on different cases. I find the backing doesn’t stick very well with things like this, so I may need to get the superglue out…

• Hell Bunny Ricci Dress in Black or Red (link)

I actually saw these dresses in EMP’s catalogue that I was given by Dane’s parents on Boxing Day to take home with me… They’ve clearly bought me something from EMP for my birthday… ANYWAY! I love dresses of this style as they shout out to me so much and I especially love to wear them with a thick warm coat in the winter and my Dr Martens boots. In the summer, with a cardigan and my flats. I think I love the red one most as it’s one of my favourite colours to wear. I would have loved to pick this up for my birthday, but I think at this point (my birthday is in 2 days) it’s a little too late now, unless I find it in store somewhere before then.

• Smoko Pearl Boba Tea Light (link)

Dane bought me the Little Bao Dumpling Light from Firebox/Smoko for Christmas and I LOVE it so much! For a battery operated light, it’s really bright and turns itself off after a certain amount of time. I love the Boba Tea Light as I’m a massive bubble tea drinker so would love to add this one to my collection as well. The thing I love about this the most is the fact when you move the light around, the boba in the bottom of the light move around. How cool is that? 😀

• Nintendo Tokyo Animal Crossing Pencil Case (link)

I love Animal Crossing so damn much and when I saw this for sale on the Something Japanese website, I really wanted to order it! That being said, I know I can just wait until my trip to Japan to pick this up myself if I still want it. I don’t NEED a new pencil case as I still have the one I owned back when I was at school and it’s still doing it’s job today of keeping my pens safe.

So (as boring as they were…) that is my 30th birthday wish list post! Wow it’s crazy to think that in 2 days time I’ll be turning 30… I’ll now have to say I’m in my early thirties when talking to people and tick the 30-35 box when signing up for things. 😛 If I still get ID’d though, I’ll be very happy!

Next week I plan to share with you guys what I received for my 30th birthday! I know I didn’t do this for Christmas 2019 but this was due to personal reasons. 🙂

August Wish List ’19

I really need to save. It’s so hard at the moment considering I’ve just had to fork out £250 for a part of my car to be replaced and erm… I kinda bought myself a new camera ready for Japan. Honestly I’m going to save up for Japan. I am. I NEED to otherwise I’ll be going to Japan with no sodding money to spend, or eat with. I have 5 months to go until we leave for the holiday and saving needs to happen NOW.

In all honesty though? I already really want at least 2 items on this wish list for work, as well as in general.

I will resist the urge and be good… I need to. 😛

Enough of me wallowing in poor pity, on with the wish list for August.

• Aggretsuko Day/Night Pyjamas (link)

If there is one thing I love buying (and it’s definitely a weakness of mine!) it’s pyjamas and it’s purely because I live in them mostly when I’m at home. Providing I don’t have plans, as soon as I get home from work I’ll get my pyjamas on and get comfortable. These will be perfect for during the summer months, as at the moment I am just purely living in baggy t-shirts and night shirts. EMP has a pretty awesome Aggretsuko line up at the moment, including a couple of hoodies, pyjama bottoms and even some fake Converse.

• Animal Crossing K.K. Slider Sticker by ncdoggGraphics (link)

I LOVE Animal Crossing and I am still stoked about the new one coming out on the Switch in March 2020. I love playing Pocket Camp daily and would love to grab some sort of Animal Crossing merch for when I’m in Japan. I love the “Yo” design of K.K. Slider and although I’ve added it onto this post as a sticker, I would rather love the hoodie or sweater design as I can only imagine it would so comfortable to wear around the house, as well as out and about when running errands.

• Pokemon Holiday Night Kuji Travelling Pouch with Bottles (link)

This is something I’ve had my eye on getting (and in one case winning) since I saw it was announced a couple of months back. I took part in this kuji through YY Kawaii (yykawaiimerch over on Instagram). I’ll be talking about the prizes I won soon, as well as this travelling pouch, which arrived yesterday. Yes, I bought it because I want it for my holiday to Japan, as well as travelling in general. This is a good sized pouch and comes with three generous sized bottles that you can fill with your beauty essentials. I’m already planning what product I’m going to pop in there for travelling with. As I said, I’ll be writing a post all about these goods soon, as well as a little bit of information about kujis, how they work and which amazing ones YY Kawaii has coming up soon!

• Aggretsuko Pencils (link)

I have discovered with my job that I love jotting down notes using pencil… I don’t know why, but I just have! I love Aggretsuko and since season 2 has come onto Netflix (also, they just announced season 3. Who else is excited?!) so I feel merchandise for this is becoming more and more likely everywhere. I don’t need any stationary anytime soon though to be honest. These would just be cool to have whenever I go into meetings and to perk my desk up a little. At the moment I’m using Pusheen pencils… I can’t complain. 😛

• Cath Kidston Stanley Lamp (link)

This isn’t going to be something I buy anytime soon due to the price, but it’s a lamp I will be keeping a close eye on, as I would love it to be a part of my home. I don’t quite know where it would go… Potentially by the sofa in our living room… It’s so damn cute and I love it! I can only assume Stanley is the dog but it’s so gorgeous and you can see a lot of precision went into the design, as it’s just perfect. This is something I’ll keep my eye on during the sales.

• Killstar Amaya Skater Dress (link)

I love a good skater dress, especially one from Killstar. This is from one of their new collections, which represents Japanese school style fashions and manga/anime designs too. This is something I’d love to be able to wear for work but due to the style of the dress (mostly the back with the hanging part) I doubt that would be doable… At least not during the warmer months when I don’t need to wear a cardigan, jumper or my work fleece. I’ll be keeping my eyes on it though, this is something I’ll definitely be picking up in the future.

• Boohoo Cable Boyfriend Button Up Cardigan (link)

I know it’s summer and we in the UK are currently rocking the warm and muggy weather but I am already thinking ahead to the months when the colder weather will be back and I’ll be wanting to snuggle up into something during my shifts at work. My friend Amy (Writing into the Ether) rocks a gorgeous mustard cardigan and she’s inspired me get myself a mustard cardigan, after years of never bothering. I love my burgundy and mustard colours for autumn and winter, and whilst I own loads of mustard jumpers, I haven’t yet picked up a mustard cardigan. I’ve found this one from Boohoo, which I’m going to keep my eye on. I need to venture around more places first, including charity shops. I know what I’m looking for, super soft and baggy so I can be snuggled and cosy!

So those are the items on my wish list for August! I always worry my wish lists are boring, but you guys never seem to say anything other than the complete opposite!

Wish List Wednesday – Detective Pikachu

I decided today was a day for a wish list! I understand I’ve had two wish lists in a row now, technically with my monthly wish list being the post before this one BUT there is a reason for that! Detective Pikachu is out in just a couple of days and I cannot express enough how excited I am for this film. Remember my excitement for Deadpool and Deadpool 2? Yeah? I have that excitement ALL OVER AGAIN but now it’s with Detective Pikachu! I can’t express my excite right now. I booked the tickets for me and Dane for this film bloody weeks ago, so much so that I kept my eye on the “book now” button to show. I know that’s sad, but whatever. It’s the little things.

So due to this excitement of mine, I knew I had to do a wish list Wednesday post. I don’t feel like I’ve done one for quite sometime (checked, it’s been over 4 months now…) so meh why not. 😛

As I’m writing this I’ve just broken up from work for the bank holiday and I am hella excited! I don’t plan to do anything really for the next couple of days and I’m okay with that.

This post will include items you can buy in the UK, as well as from Japan. I’ll link to stores as well as sellers who can get you the goodies you may want to bag from Japan. I also want to put it out there that whilst this is a wish list post, I’m also going to write about items that I don’t wish for myself, but know other people will be interested in!

• Detective Pikachu Missing T-Shirt (link)

I’m naughty – this t-shirt hasn’t just featured on this wish list but it’s also on my monthly wish list for May too (which you can see here, alongside other goodies!) so yeah two items in a row… Sorry, not sorry. 😛 I’ve actually bought this now as I really love the design on the t-shirt itself. It’s so damn cute and I can already see myself wearing it with mom jeans and my 101 Dalmatians Vans on Friday when I go and watch the film. I bought this from EMP who have LOADS of Detective Pikachu designs available. I just happened to prefer this one to the others. They do both t-shirts for men and women so make sure to go and check them out.

• Detective Pikachu Mug With Personalised Message (link)

I love this mug so much and if it wasn’t for the fact I have SO MANY mugs in my house I think I would have ordered this one by now. I assume the person selling it on Etsy designed the images of Detective Pikachu but I love the cute little poses he’s doing. I wish this was a takeaway mug as I think I would have bought it for work if that was the case. I’ll see how long I can withstand without this mug in my life. 😛

• Pokemon Centre Detective Pikachu Lifesize Plush (YY Kawaii Merch)

Of course as a massive Pokemon fan I HAD to order this! First of all I’ll let you know it wasn’t cheap, but after seeing photos of it I’m pretty damn glad I decided to order it. It’ll be arriving towards the end of May and I honestly can’t wait to share it with you! This is a Pokemon Centre exclusive and as the title reads, is a lifesize plush, so it’ll be pretty big when it arrives. I don’t honestly have a clue what I’m going to do with it yet… I’ll probably keep it in our bedroom with the massive Totoro plush Dane bought me for our second Christmas together.

• Build A Bear Psyduck Bundle (link)

Although I love my Eevee and Vulpix Build A Bear plushies – I don’t intend to pick up anymore Pokemon Build A Bear’s in the future. This is due to the fact there just aren’t any I want, which in all honesty includes the two new ones they’ve brought out to coincide with Detective Pikachu. However, although I don’t want them I know quite a few people who will! I like how they’ve brought out Psyduck to be honest with you as I know quite a lot of people love this Pokemon from it being Misty’s back in the day on the original series. You can buy the bundle on the website and get loads of goodies for the Psyduck, or just the Psyduck alonge instore. They’ve also brought out the Snubbull plush from the movie.

• Detective Pikachu on Nintendo 3DS (link)

I remember around this time last year the Nintendo 3DS game came out for Detective Pikachu only for the film to be announced not long after. I’ve put the game in here because if you plan to go and watch the film then I recommend you play the game before/after you’ve watched it. Especially if you LOVE the film! I’m glad I played the game beforehand but I do worry I’m going to make loads of comparisons between the two, but I’ll try not to. I really did love the game though and I’m sure you will too if you wanted to have a go!

• Pokemon Centre Mens Boxers (YY Kawaii Merch)

Not going to lie, I actually regret not ordering these for Dane when I ordered my lifesize Detective Pikachu plushie. I might go and try to order these for him still as a little anniversary gift. They’re one size men’s boxers and they look bloody amazing! These aren’t the cheapest in the world (looking around £15 for these) for what they are BUT for what they are they’re cool to own at least. As I said, I might just get these for Dane as an anniversary present.

• Detective Pikachu Movie Inspired Enamel Pins by Eat Your Pins (Kickstarter link)

The last item(s) I want to talk about on this post is actually a Kickstarter that came up just 4 days ago so I thought I would give them a mention here as their pins seem adorable. The Kickstarter campaign is available until 22nd May 2019 and there are loads of different pin designs to choose from and all of them are to do with the new Detective Pikachu movie. Go and check them out!

May Wish List ’19

Wow as if it’s May already! It’s pretty crazy just how quick 2019 is going but at the same time it’s kind of depressing… It means I’m not only getting closer to turning 30 but also getting closer to one of my life goals. I want to go to Japan after my 30th birthday but at the moment I’m worried this is just going to continue to be a dream.

This is something I’ll go into another time. For now it’s time for my monthly wish list! I’ve been really loving getting a style again apart from baggy joggers and a t-shirt. I picked up a pair of mom jeans in April and I love them to death so I’m trying to get more geeky t-shirts lately so I can get myself a real geeky look going on! 😀

To be honest I need to really chill out with money lately as I do really want to save up for Japan and whilst it isn’t going bad right now, it isn’t going as quickly as I’d have hoped.

For now however, I hope you enjoy this months wish list! I feel like it’s a really boring list, but whatever. I love all the items that are on it and I hope you guys do too.

• Lime Crime Best Of Lip Reds (link)

This is a set I have wanted since Christmas to be honest with you, but I just never picked it up. I guess I wasn’t sure of the price at the time and I was skint due to Christmas, as well as both mine and my mom’s birthdays. I’ve been keeping my eyes on this set though for ages on the website and during Easter it went REALLY cheap, almost half price in fact. Finally I bit the bullet and purchased the set! I rather like Lime Crime and miss wearing liquid lipsticks a little for their staying power. This set is gorgeous and will work great for when I fancy wearing reds throughout the year, whether it be for work, in the beer garden or for blog events. 🙂 I’m glad I waited and picked this up for cheap!

• Monsoon Celleni Star Print Midi Dress (link)

I’ve had my eye on this dress for just over a month now. I saw it when I was out in Leamington Spa looking for possible new work pieces for when I was due to start my new job. I spotted this dress and thought what a gorgeous colour and print it was and had on it. I do rather like a good maxi dress but as of yet I’ve actually never tried a midi dress. I tried one on the day I was out shopping and rather liked it, the reason for not buying said dress was the fit on the arms was shit! 😛 This dress is really expensive so I’m waiting for it to go down in price before I make the jump at it. 🙂

• Detective Pikachu T-Shirt (link)

I’m so damn excited for Detective Pikachu! It’s less than a week away now and I’ve already booked tickets to go and watch it. I am THAT excited for this movie! Not only am I a huge Pokemon fan, but Ryan Reynolds is also my favourite actor. When I saw this t-shirt for sale on EMP I KNEW I had to get it! I’ve ordered it before this post went live and I’m actually hoping it arrives soon so I can dress it up with my mom jeans and my Vans.

• Miss Kobayashi’s Dragon Maid T-Shirt (link)

This is a t-shirt I’ve had saved on my eBay account for the longest time, but as of yet I just haven’t ordered it. It’s from China, which to be honest I am always hesitant to order from for various reasons. The photos always look better than the actual product. I’ll see how I feel still in regards to this t-shirt, but again like the Detective Pikachu t-shirt I would really love to rock this with mom jeans.

• Himouto! Umaru-chan Vol. 5 (link)

Towards the end of April my reading just shot straight up! I haven’t been reading properly for ages due to having too much shit going on so now I’ve finally had the chance to sit and read during my work break, it’s lovely. When I’ve caught up on this series I’ll definitely pick up this volume to read next. I do really love reading manga and if anything I’ve forgotten lately just how much I love reading it.

• Pandora Bull Terrier Puppy Pendant Charm (link)

Pandora have recently released their adorable pets charms and I am in LOVE with all the puppy versions they’ve released, including this bull terrier one. Randomly I used to really want a bull terrier growing up so I would love to add this charm to my bracelet as a reminder of younger Nat and the pet that she wanted when she grew up. I’d never get one now to be perfectly honest with you, even though a part of me would still love to deep down.

• Chocolate Raisin Fury Starry Sky Of Creation Mew T-Shirt (link)

The last item on this list and it’s ANOTHER t-shirt! I was meant to mention Chocolate Raisin Fury’s t-shirts back in last months wish list post but I kind of forgot to be honest with you. I discovered Chocolate Raisin Fury at MCM Comic Con Birmingham back at the end of March and I am so thankful for it. I LOVE her designs so much and I definitely need to own more in my life! I have my eye on all of the Studio Ghibli designs but I REALLY love this Mew design at the moment and would love to add it to my geeky t-shirt collection!

December Wish List ’18

I cannot believe we are in December now. The last month of 2018 with Christmas and New Years looming and my bloody 29th birthday to follow. Yuck getting old sucks.

I am definitely not ready for Christmas and I usually am by now! I had a very busy and expensive November and a part of me regrets spending so much monies, but at the same time we only live. YOLO! 😛

Last year in December I actually wrote two wish list posts, one in general at the start of the month and one on Christmas Eve that I would have asked Father Christmas for as a kid, as well as what I was hoping to be gifted Christmas Day. I want to know if you guys want to see this again, but this time from my teenage self? Please let me know in the comments down below! I’ve been toying with the idea and I would like to do it.

Anyway, I’ve put a list together and not going to lie, I STRUGGLED! I’ve bought so much shit lately that I really didn’t need anything else. Some stuff on here I’ve pre ordered already. xD

• A Polar Bear In Love Vol. 4 – (link)

This is a manga I got into at the start of the year as Dane bought it for me for my birthday. We’re approaching the fourth volume now and I still love this manga so much, I could even go so far as to say it’s one of my favourites. It’s so bizarre and different, which being totally hilarious! I just love some of the quirky moments in there.

• Pokemon Eevee Hooded Sweater – (link)

I really don’t need a new hoodie, especially as Dane has just given me one of his hoodies! This one looks really snug though and comfortable. When I showed it to Dane he commented how it reminded him of a snowboarding hoodie. This definitely shows a sign of a good hoodie for sure! 😛 This is something I’ll be keeping my eye out for in the sales. I’d probably just have it to wear to pole and hoop fitness, as well as around the house when chilling out and with my pyjamas. 😛

• Sword Art Online Progressive Vol. 7 (link)

This is another manga I really love at the moment and it’s also a manga that doesn’t come out THAT much throughout the year, so I was quite surprised that they decided to bring out two volumes in one year! This is a manga I really enjoy and reminds me of when I first started buying manga to read

• Lime Crime Best Of Lip Holiday Collection in Reds – (link)

I’ve always been unsure of Lime Crime products, until I picked up the Plushies (which you can read my review about here) and since then I do really want to try more of their lipsticks. These gift sets for Christmas look amazing and I’d really love to pick one up, or have one for Christmas. They have a couple of different colours from darks, reds, mauves and nudes. I love me a bit of red when it comes to lip colours, but I do also love the darks and mauves too. I think I’ll keep my eye on these for when the Boxing Day sales roll around. 😛

• Pokemon Eevee Tamagotchi – (link)

I’ve actually pre-ordered this already! I had to, I couldn’t pass it up to be honest. 😛 Pokemon and Tamagotchi have teamed up to bring out an Eevee Tamagotchi, where you get an Eevee and can evolve it into one of it’s Eeveelutions, as well as (apparently!) a new Eeveelution, which is pretty exciting! I went for the brown Tamagotchi out of the two. This was such a good price and I’m so excited for it to come out at the start of 2019. I’m undecided whether to open it or not, we shall see. 😛

• Miss Kobayashi’s Dragon Maid Manga Vol. 7 – (link)

This is something else I’ve pre-ordered as I LOVE this series of manga and I always try and get the latest volume without delay so I can keep up with the series. I’ve not had much manga to read in November as I read all my manga on my way to London. I’ve got manga to read on an app on my phone but it’s never the same as having a physical copy. 😛 I can’t wait for this to arrive now to read it.

• Stuffed Water Bear – (link)

The final item on this wish list IS ADORABLE! I really want this water bear, even though I don’t know what I’d do with it. 😛 I was so tempted to pick this up when the sales were on for Black Friday, but I left it as to be honest with you I HAVE BEEN SKINT! 😛 I may look into getting this another time but at the moment it’s not a priority. BUT DAMN it’s cute isn’t it?! 😛

So that is my December favourites! Of course this doesn’t include my whole, “wish list to Father Christmas aka family” stuff. That will come Christmas Eve like last year. 😛

I was going to try and do Blogmas this year but I have decided against it. I just simply don’t have time to do it. If I’m not busy with work, I’m busy with keeping up with my usually 2-3 posts a week or I’m busy having a life.

I’m definitely going to try and do it next year. BUT throughout December please keep eyes peeled for exciting posts on my blog, including Christmas themed posts as well as some collaboration posts! 😀

July Wish List ’18

Oh man as if we are in July and oh what a gorgeous year 2018 is turning out to be already, eh?! Last week we had nothing but sunshine and it was glorious.

I was really naughty in June and bought loads of stuff, but you know what? Fuck it! I don’t feel like I’ve had a proper treat since I left my previous job so it’s been nice to buy stuff for myself that I either need and don’t need, but have wanted for ages.

The majority of stuff on this months wish list I doubt I will buy as I need to save my monies now after an expensive month. I really struggled too with this months wish list as there isn’t much I really want to buy in all fairness… Well apart from the manga mentioned below. 😛

Anyhoo, ON WITH THE WISH LIST! 😀

• FairyGlo Gel Nail Polishes – (link)

This is what I’m going to kick off the blog post with as although I’ve mentioned I won’t be buying much this month, this is something I’ve ordered as I REALLY wanted to give FairyGlo gel polishes a go! Someone I work with uses these and they look amazing, so I wanted to give them a go for myself. I have 4 shades in mind that I want to grab and they’re purple, blue, raspberry pink and lavender shades and they look awesome! Where I’ve found them they’re £1.99 each which is pretty decently priced, but I know this is due to them being Chinese and cheap. But meh, I’ll give them a go they won’t cost me much to buy. 😛

• Cath Kidston Park Wildlife Fox Cushion – (link)

I really want this cushion and I regret not picking it up when me and Dane went away to Bristol/Somerset for a couple of days at the start of June. Dane was the one who pointed it out to me to be honest! The fox on it is so adorable and instead of grabbing this cushion I picked up a fox trinket dish and the park wildlife tray instead, which the fox is on. I really want more of the park wildlife bits that are all in the sale at the moment! I’m definitely going to keep my eye on the cushion because if it goes down in the sale anymore, I’ll definitely grab it!

• A Polar Bear in Love Vol. 3 – (link)

I mentioned this recently on my manga wish list (which you can read here) but this is out this month so I’ll be pre ordering this closer to the time, aka the end of the month. 😛 I love A Polar Bear in Love. It’s so bizarre but so cute and somewhat relate able all the same. If you love reading cute and strange manga, definitely give this series a go! I can’t wait to see where it’s going after where Vol. 2 left off!

• Le Mini Macaron 3X Shine Topcoat – (link)

I recently picked up one of the Le Mini Macaron gel nail kits and I LOVE IT! I really want to give the rest of their products a go though, including this 3X shine topcoat, which has nothing but good reviews! I haven’t used a topcoat whilst using the shade I picked up in the kit and it’s lasted for quite some time now. The only time it started to chip was when I was in the bath and I was kind of picking it off. 😛

• Vans x Marvel Spidey Webs LS – (link)

The Vans x Marvel collection is a mixture of awesome and disappointment of how much better they could have done. I really wanted the Deadpool Vans that they released but when I saw them in the flesh I was so disappointed. For a start they had a ninja star on them, which Deadpool doesn’t use! I mean, what? :S Anyway so the only things I actually liked from the collection are the Spider-Man t-shirts, including this long sleeved boyfriend tee. I love long sleeved tops, especially if they have a boyfriend tee feel to them! It’s not the cheapest in the world, but you’re paying for the brand, as well as for Marvel. I’ll definitely be picking this up in the future as I love it so much!

• Le Mini Macaron Kitticorn Magic Powder – (link)

I’ve always wanted to give the holographic and chrome nail powders a go but I haven’t really been able to. Although I would prefer to give a cheaper one a go, I’m adding this to my wish list because for the money I wouldn’t mind giving this one a go and it comes with a topcoat polish too, which is always good! I don’t know if it’s the same one as the 3X shine topcoat though…

• Marvel Spidey Ringer Tee – (link)

Like the boyfriend Spider-Man tee I really love this tee that Vans have brought out for the collaboration! This one would definitely be ideal lately with how bloody warm it’s been this past week. I’d rock this tee all the time with a cardigan, hoodie and jeans. At the time of writing this it’s on sale at EMP and I’m SO TEMPTED to order it but meh I need to watch my monies after an expensive month in June… 😦

• Le Mini Macaron Coffee Shop Les Minis Gel Polish Set – (link)

I’ve spied a couple of the gel polish shades I like the look of, including Latte which is in this coffee coloured set. I LOVE coffee coloured nail polishes and although I won’t this month, when it comes to it I’m going to order myself a couple of different shades from Le Mini Macaron as I really want to give this brand a go! I especially love all these shades as they’ll look great for every season too.

So those are all the items on my wish list for this month! Sorry if it’s really boring, I honestly cannot think of much I want to buy this month really… 😛

May Wish List ’18

Oh man another month, another wish list! Has to be said, how rotten is the weather?! I’m currently in bed writing this post on a spontaneous day off work (can’t complain at that, eh? :P) and watching the rain out of the window. I’ve had to pop out this morning to have some bloods taken for tests, so now I’m home with a big cup of coffee and listening to a podcast whilst I do blog work!

I need to be good this month to be honest, if anything I’ll probably just buy myself some games and that is it! If I end up being naughty and buying things, then so help me. 😛

• Eevee Dangling Tail Enamel Pin by ToasterKiwi – (link)

If there is a new “hobbie” I have taken up since leaving my old job, it’s collecting pin badges/enamel pins! I have a nice handful of them now and wear different ones weekly, sometimes daily at work, as well as weekends off work. I stumbled across this cute little Eevee pin on Etsy during April and I did go to order it, but left out and decided to be good. It would just be so adorable to wear to work in the summer months on my rainbow cardigan (which you can see here).

• PS4 Detroit: Become Human – (link)

Oh man I have been anticipating this game since it was announced in 2013, 4 years has come and gone and I am SO READY for this game now! I’ve always loved David Cage’s/Quantic Dream games so this is just another one I’ll know I’ll adore. It’s set in Detroit (obviously) and is about 3 characters, all robots with different stories. It reminds me of Heavy Rain in that aspect that you play as multiple people. I’m not 100% sure if all their stories link, but I have a pretty good feeling they do. The games out late May so I’ll be pre ordering it closer to its release date. Smyths Toys are amazing with game pre orders and you save £5 if you order quickly enough, which of course I’ll be doing! I know there’s a demo for this at the moment but I don’t want to play it, I want a surprise when the game comes out. I’ve watched a little bit of people playing the demo and let’s just say, that was enough for me.

• Vans X Lazy Oaf Old Skool Platform Shoes – (link)

BE STILL MY BEATING HEART! I want these SO MUCH right now but I have to be a good girl and save money. I love a good pair of Vans and I find they last so well. If it wasn’t for the fact one of my oldest pairs of Vans (I’ve owned them for 12 years!) are covered in mud and in a shed at my mom’s, I would still wear them. I’ve wanted a platform pair of Vans for a while now and these are pretty kawaii and adorable to wear with jeans, and even skirts and dresses. They’re Lazy Oaf so I knew they wouldn’t be cheap BUT they’re also not badly priced either, in my opinion. I would like to buy a pair before they sell out. I’d wear them at work every now and then too if the time was right. I’ll see how I feel when I’m paid and if I’ll have any spare cash. There’s only one place I can actually find them in my size right now, which is such a shame. They sold out within a few days Vans, Lazy Oaf and even ASOS.

• EMP Star Wars Collar Jyn Dress – (link)

I remember featuring this on one of my wish lists last year (August to be exact and you can read it here if you do so wish) and I never did buy it. I still do, as I would love to wear it for work! It’s the perfect length, would be great to wear in all seasons, as during the colder months you could wear a long sleeved top underneath it, which is probably what I’d do all the time. It has a hood on it, which is something different too and would be really funky to wear on evenings out with friends. When the hood isn’t worn up it has a sort of cowl neck, which I really like. This does feel like more of a dress for winter, but I’d love it for work. 😛

Recently I discovered Katystraub on Instagram and I am in love with her feed! She’s so kawaii and adorable. I’d noticed her wearing some rainbow striped t-shirts and loved it, so when I found out they were from Monki I had a good nose on the website. Sadly the  ones she had were sold out but since then I’ve been keeping my eye on the website for anymore t-shirts like that to come out. I found this one the website a few days ago and I’m tempted to order it for work now to wear with skirts and trousers! When I’ve written this post I’m going to have a good nose on the website. 😛

• Nails Inc Self-Made Mermaid Nail Polish Duo – (link)

I remember wanting this nail polish duo when it first came out, but obviously I never picked it up. I’ve been browsing eBay for second hand ones for a while and I’ve found quite a few for sale, BUT ALWAYS MISSED OUT ON BUYING THE DUO CHEAP! So annoying! I doubt I’ll buy it anytime soon, but I would love to pick it up in the future for sure. I forgot how much I love Nails Inc polishes and the duos are pretty good to be honest. The only thing that is putting me off buying the duo at full price is I don’t feel like the Nails Inc polishes last as long as they should for how much they cost.

So there you have it, my wish list post for May! I would love to buy everyone off of it, but I need to be good! It can be so hard though, you know? 😛

Loungefly x Star Wars Darth Vader Mini Backpack

Oh man I didn’t think I’d ever write about two Loungefly products so close to one another, if at all! It was only last July that I got my Pokemon Loungefly bag (which you can read about here).

If you don’t know from being a regular reader, then you won’t know that I am a MASSIVE Loungefly fan and have supported them over the past 10 years now whenever possible.

To give a little insider, Loungefly is an American brand that has been around for years, but is only recently making its way over the pond and to the UK through certain shops.

They generally work with geeky or cute franchises and brands to bring us unique and cute bags that will really show off what the wearer is into! Some of these frachises include Disney, Hello Kitty, Star Wars, Marvel and even Pokemon.

As you may have read last year, my boyfriend Dane bought me a Pokemon duffle bag by Loungefly for our fourth anniversary together. To this day I use it constantly and love it so damn much! I always get complimented on it and it makes me so damn happy!

Like my Pokemon bag, I didn’t really need a new one and before anyone wonders, no this isn’t going to be replacing my Pokemon one! The Pokemon one will still be used ALL THE TIME! I got this backpack mainly for if I need to go and run a days errands where having my hands free is for the best. I also have it for if I want to walk to get the train to work and even for holidays and trips away.

I saw this bag in GAME recently when we were out for Dane’s birthday and on the day I regretted not grabbing it SO BLOODY MUCH! A few days later we went back up to town for a look around and erm… I ended up buying it. 😛

You know what though? It didn’t cost me much in hindsight because all I paid for it was just under £7.00. Yes you read that correctly.

The bag cost £49.99, which to be honest is a great price for a Loungefly bag in the UK! Usually you have to get them for high prices through eBay, or ship from websites and stores that sell them in America. PLUS you’d have to pay some heavy fees on top of that too!

The reason this bag worked out so cheap was because I had over £43 worth of GAME points, pretty awesome, huh!?

I do feel bad to be honest with the GAME points as they were mine and Dane’s to share, but I think he had used his fair share of points and if he hasn’t I’ve offered to put some money towards some of his future purchases, like the nice girlfriend I am. 😛

I just couldn’t say no to this bag in all honesty. It’s not the Loungefly mini backpack that I’ve always lusted after, but it is pretty rad!

I’d never seen one of the mini backpacks in the flesh before so I was pleasantly surprised by the size of it, as well as to how roomy it was inside. It was then that I just knew I wanted to get it.

Considering how chunky the backpack is it’s lighter in weight than I thought it was going to be, which I love. There’s the main pocket in the bag, as well as a little pocket at the front.

The design of the bag is actually something that Dane wasn’t a fan of when I went to buy the bag. He feels it’s too simplistic and could show off more of Darth Vader. Personally I like that it isn’t too in your face. You get the design of Darth Vader’s chest panel on both sides of the bag, as well as on the front. Where the design is on the sides of the bag you also have some little “hidden” pouches there that you can keep little things in such as a lip balm, mirror, or maybe even some old train tickets or receipts (obviously ones without card details on! :P).

The only thing I don’t like about inside the bag is that there isn’t a little zip pouch, or even a pouch for your phone. I’m so used to having bags with that so when I don’t have that option it’s odd. I’d live though, it’s not like it’s a huge bag where I could lose stuff inside of it.

The straps of the bag can of course be altered so you can have it is tight and high on your back or as loose and low on your bag as you like. I don’t know how I’ll have it just yet, we shall see. There is also a little hanging loop on the top of the bag so you can hang it up say on the back of a door, or on a coat hanger.

One thing I do love the most about this bag is that it can stand up on its base. Usually I find with any backpack that it’ll just lie flat on the ground or have to be propped against something for it to “stand” on its own. This one is great for just plonking on the ground by your feet. If I ever take it to work it’ll be easy to just rest on the floor to be honest.

Overall I was really naughty getting this bag but meh I wanted it to be honest and I love it so much already! I was a bit sad about some stuff Sunday last week so it was nice to sort of cheer myself up with this. Retail therapy really does help you know.

These are the main three places that I can think of right now that are stocking some great Loungefly pieces. Make sure to keep your eyes peeled on items you may want as they do go pretty damn quick! Loungefly has only really started to become available since the start of 2018 which is amazing! I just hope we start to get more and more merchandise our way from the brand.
