April Favourites ’19

its gonna be may GIF

Image taken from GIPHY

I just had to add this gif here seeing as last year I added the IT’S GONNA BE MAY one! 😛

Wow. How is it May already?! It’s been a month since I started my new job, as well as Easter bank holiday passing and the first of two bank holiday’s this month are looming. How wonderful May is going to be. 😛

I have a feeling May is going to be a very busy month with both personal life as well as blogging life. I’m excited for what the month will bring to be honest with you. 🙂

Anyhoo it’s time to get on with my favourites from April!

  • Molton Brown Fiery Pink Pepper Bath & Shower Gel.

This is a product I’ve owned for quite a while to be honest with you, but I’ve only just managed to start using it. This is purely by choice to be honest with you. My mom gifted this to me as she had two and wasn’t as keen on the scent as she thought she was going to be. I’ve never used a Molton Brown product before but I know they’re quite high up there as a company when it comes to their products, so I knew it would be good. Bloody hell, I didn’t actually think it was going to be as good as it actually was! I was pleasantly surprised and would DEFINITELY purchase their products in the future. Not going to lie, this isn’t usually the scent I would choose myself but it’s gorgeous! It’s like a feminine smelling aftershave scent… If that makes sense? A little bit of this product goes a long way and foams up really good. The thing I love the most about it though is how the scent actually sticks onto the skin and it lasts until mid morning. I feel like not many shower gels do this so the fact this one does gives me reason to buy from Molton Brown. I honestly recommend them so much if you can justify the price.

  • EOS Lip Balm in Passion Fruit.

I didn’t actually need a new lip balm but when I spotted that Savers had the EOS Lip balms cheap at just £2.99 I decided to pick a new one up for myself. I’ve not used EOS lip balms for over 4 years now and reason for that being is that’s when my last one ran out (which you can read about here from back in my July Favourites 2015). I did purchase the Lemon Drop flavour a couple of years ago, but this was when I was having issues with infections on my lips and after I used it I didn’t touch it again. I still own it but I’m scared if I use it said infection will come back. I really need to just throw it away. ANYWAY! I have been loving this lip balm towards the end of April. I haven’t used a stick form style of lip balm for years due to that lip infection I had all that time ago (which you can read about here) so me buying this lip balm was quite a bit step because of that. I have no regrets however and have been loving using this. It smells amazing, tastes yummy and leaves my lips feeling gorgeous and soft. I plan to pick up more in the future at the steal of a price! I just wish they had more of the flavours I’d really like to try.

  • LAB LED Sonic Teeth Whitening Toothbrush.

This is actually a belated birthday present from my mom. Granted she bought me gift(s) for my birthday but she also really wanted to get me an electric toothbrush. We kept umming and ahhing over which one to get me and due to the fact we couldn’t settle on anything, it ws left… Until recently. My mom found this electric toothbrush by LAB and decided to order it for me. This is meant to be a whitening toothbrush but to be perfectly honest with you, I can’t notice any change in my teeth… Maybe others will but alas I haven’t Both me and Dane use this toothbrush as we have interchangeable heads and not only do I love it, but he does too! I really do feel like this cleans my teeth better than a manual toothbrush ever could and I really do love it! This also came with some charcoal toothpaste, which I rather like. It tastes really nice but it doesn’t foam up much. Would you guys like to see a review on this toothbrush at some point this month? Make sure to let me know!

  • The Body Shop Peppermint Candy Cane Fragranced Hand Cream.

This is another product that I’ve owned for ages but have yet to use. When I started my new job at the start of April I decided it was finally time to give it a go! I tell you what, I’m gutted that it’s a limited edition product from Christmas 2018 as this is by far one of my best The Body Shop hand creams I’ve ever used! I find with these hand creams they do NOTHING for my eczema prone hands and I end up hardly using them. However, this one really does work and I was pleasantly surprised due to that. It smells amazing too with the sweet peppermint scent. I am really sad that this is near the end of it’s life and I won’t be able to repurchase it… Hopefully this scent returns Christmas 2019!

  • Tweak’d by Nature Rhassoul Rise & Shine Volumising Shampoo.

I was pretty sceptical when it came down to using this shampoo. I’ve been rather fond of my L’Oreal sulphate free shampoo for quite some time now but when my mom recommended this shampoo for me, I decided to give it a go. My mom is usually spot on when it comes down to stuff like this. Alas I have fallen in love with this shampoo and I’m actually considering repurchasing it! It leaves my hair feeling soft, voluminous and smelling gorgeous! When I’m drying my hair I really notice the scent it leaves behind. This isn’t a sulphate free shampoo but I don’t feel like I’ve really noticed this in regards to the aftermath of the shampoo after washing. My only issue with this shampoo is that it takes bloody ages to get it to a lovely lather. I worry I use too much of the product and then not only am I “wasting” it I’m also putting possibly too much product into my hair. If I don’t create a massive lather in my hair, I don’t feel like I’m getting it clean… If that makes sense? I would like to try more of the Tweak’d by Nature range as they seem really good, as well as different.

So now my beauty favourites are done, time to talk about the miscellaneous favourites of the month!

Favourite TV Show – Fruits Basket.

First of all I just want to say – I chose the gif above because I thought it was so bloody cute!

I really need to give myself a kick up the arse lately as my reading of anime and watching of manga has been SHOCKING since the start of the year! Alas April was my month for picking both of these things back up, which I’m really happy about! A new and adapted version of Fruits Basket launched in April and I’ve been watching it every Friday when a new episode came out on Funimation. I ALWAYS wanted to watch Fruits Basket back in the day when the original anime series was out, but I just never got to. I watched all of one maybe two episodes at a push but when it came down to watching the others I could NEVER find them anywhere to watch. I know the full series was out on DVD but the price of them was quite expensive back in the day and I just couldn’t justify it. Recently I was tempted to buy them all on DVD but I am so glad I left it, due to the new series coming out. Fruits Basket is about a girl who moves in with some friends but discovers they can all turn into animals from the Chinese zodiac. So far it’s been such a cute, funny and yet emotional anime and I’m so happy that the remake has come out so I can FINALLY watch this series somehow!

Favourite Movie – Dumbo and Avengers: Endgame.

April was definitely the month of movies and I swear, I was LOVING it! 😀 First of all me and Dane went to go and see Dumbo before the Easter bank holiday and whilst he wasn’t arsed about seeing it, I sort of was. The original Dumbo from 1941 is by far one of my favourite Disney movies and at almost every moment in this movie I WILL cry because it’s just a sad fucking movie. Even when good stuff happens (which let’s face it, is rare!) I cry. Anyways the Tim Burton version of Dumbo is really good and it was a film I was glad I went to the cinema to see. I’d gladly watch it again, especially with Dane’s nephew and even friends children as it was an enjoyable watch. I loved that they kept some little aspects of Dumbo in there from 1941. It was typical Tim Burton to be honest with you. If you have children I’d say take them to see it and if you’re like me and loved the original Dumbo then I recommend you go see it too.

Onto Avengers: Endgame… I don’t quite know what I can say about it without worrying I give anything away… It is an emotional 3 hours to be perfectly honest with you and I don’t think I’ve cried at a film so much since I went to watch Marley & Me – which I sobbed at! I recommend if you go to watch take some tissues and find a guide online of when is the best time(s) to go for toilet breaks! I found one AFTER we got out of the cinema and I actually went for my pee break at the right time. Not bad eh? 😛 I just loved this film so much for so many reasons… I just wish I could say more here without the worry of spoilers.

Favourite Book – In Real Life by Cory Doctorow.

I picked up this book around the start of April after finding it in Waterstones. I’d had it on my Amazon wish list for years but eventually removed it as I didn’t think I’d ever pick it up. Waterstones were selling it for £10 which is the cheapest I’ve found it anywhere. I’d have been a bit of a fool if I DIDN’T pick it up! This is about a girl whose family don’t have a whole lot of money. She hears about an online gaming world from a guest speaker at her school. After kindly asking her mother if she can pay to play the online game she goes into the game and discovers some stuff through it that open her eyes. It’s such a great book and I recommend it for people to read who love graphic novels as well as gaming.

Favourite Music – Ozzy Osbourne “See You On The Other Side” and Halsey “Without Me”.

I’ve really been getting into loads of new artists and songs lately and it’s thanks to the music that plays during my pole dance classes, as well as listening to KERRANG! Radio all day at work. It’s amazing in all honesty and it if wasn’t thanks to both of those things lately I wouldn’t have discovered these two songs recently. The first one is by Ozzy Osbourne and is quite a sad song, but all the same I am addicted to it! It’s clearly about losing a loved one and it’s such a touching song. The second one by Halsey is another sad song about how she’s been through a rocky relationship and her feelings now it’s over. Both songs are beautiful and I love listening to them both on a daily business.

Favourite Game – Yoshi’s Crafted World.

I know this was my favourite game last month too but in all honesty I have been LOVING this game! I played it nonstop over the Easter bank holidays and adored it! Not going to lie, I plan to play it tonight after I’ve finished writing this post (day before this post went live!) as I just love it that much. I’ve played a couple of Yoshi games over the years but none of them have been as enjoyable as this one has to me. I just find it so relaxing to play and every level is so in depth with all the different secrets you can find, collecting items through gatcha machines and even two player mode. There’s nothing not to like about this game and that’s why it’s here again for another month running. 😀

So those are all my favourites from April! The month went by so bloody quick and I already can’t quite believe I’ve been in my job a month today. I’m really enjoying it so far.

How was April for my lovely readers? Also which items were you loving in April? Make sure to let me know in the comments.

Until next time all, take care and I hope you’re having a great week so far. I’m off out tonight for a blog event! Exciting times!

July Favourites 2015

Wow hello August, where did you come from? July went by super quick and I was sad about it passing by so quickly, what with London and everything. It’s also been a stressful month money wise. It’s been a real mix match of good and bad, and I can safely say I’m happy to have August upon us. I really want this month to be the start of a new start for me.

Throughout July I’ve loved loads of products, but I can only really talk about five… So it was tough to only pick this many!

  • Aussie Shower Gel in Shower Smoothie.

I bought this shower gel whilst it was on offer, and I also wanted to pick it up for when I went to London. It smells so yummy, just like the shampoo, a very unique scent, and a gorgeous one at that! I haven’t used this loads, but for how much I did use it, I know I’ve loved using it the times I did last month. It’s creamy, lathers up beautifully, and just smells gorgeous. It also leaves me feeling soft and smooth after use too, which is always a bonus. From memory this is the only shower gel that smells like the shampoo… But don’t quote me! I picked up the big bottle on offer for £2, so I recommend stocking up on these whilst they’re on offer, as whilst they’re amazing shower gels and worth every penny, nearly £5.00 for a shower gel that isn’t a high brand is a bit cheeky…

  • Tarte Amazonian Clay Finishing Powder.

I stopped using this a couple of months back as for some reason the screw on the pot went funny, and so did the filter area too so I grew too paranoid to use it. As my MAC finishing powder is coming to an end, I decided I would start using this again, and I’m so glad I did because I forgot how damn amazing it is! This is a light finishing powder that really does go a long way, and leaves my skin looking matte and oil free. I don’t even need to top this up either throughout the day, which is great of course. The only problem with it is the packaging, but I think I just got a dodgy pot, sad to say.

  • EOS Lip Balm in Blueberry Acai.

I’ve owned this lip balm well over a year (which I doubt is a good thing!) and I loved it when I first picked it up… But I soon began to fall out of love with it and the hype behind EOS soon disappeared. However I’ve started using it again recently during pole dancing classes, whenever I just need to pop out the house quickly to run some errands, and especially before bed. This stuff alongside The Body Shop’s Lip Butter in Coconut has really helped my lips recently. I seem to be getting a lot of cold sores, which sucks but these have both really helped. I especially love the scent and taste of this lip balm. EOS really aren’t worth all the hype, nor the price but they do the job and are cute to pull out of your handbag when out on the go.

  • Marc Jacobs EDP in Oh, Lola!.

I bought this perfume a year ago in Bristol and whenever I use it, it always reminds me of there. This is also a must have scent for summer as it’s fruity, yet a warming scent. It’s definitely one I would have lived in during my teen years. It’s a light scent too, which makes it perfect for evenings out with friends. I took it to London with me and wore it loads when out and about, especially in the evening when we went to see The Book of Mormon. It’s just been a handbag staple whilst the weather has been nice. I think this was a limited edition perfume too, as I was having a look for it recently online and hardly any retailers sell it now, which makes me sad.

  • MAC Lipstick in Pink Pearl Pop.

A new MAC lipstick, yes and it was a bargain at £5.50! I bought this from a blog sale recently and it’s been one of my wish list MAC items for a couple of years now. I was worried when I first applied it to my lips that it was too bright for my skin tone, but since the first wear I have delightfully discovered it’s the perfect shade for me and a staple for summer! I’m hoping to go away on holiday again in November/December so this will probably be my go to shade when I go!

So those were my favourites for July! What products did you love using last month? Make sure to let me know in the comments below.

Until next time all, take care and here’s to another month!

March Favourites 2014

DSC_0005

I’m sorry to say it (like I do on pretty much every favourites post) BUT I can’t believe we’re into a new month already and the fact that it’s April already is somewhat scary, but not so bad at the same time. I’m really excited that Spring has started and quite frankly I can’t wait for Summer next. I’m bored with cold weather now, I want some sunshine so I can wear my dresses, baggy t-shirts with my skinny fit jeans, and my skate shoes for a slouchy look…

However this post is getting off track, this is my favourites from the last month, so let’s get on with them before I start talking about clothes! xD

DSC_0006

  • Elemis Pro-Collagen Marine Cream.

Another beauty product that my Mom has given me… I know I say this a lot but I seriously don’t ask her to buy me these things, she just buys them and ends up giving them to me to try/use as she finds another product to lust over! I love her for it though, and my skin does too. 🙂 BUT this cream is beautiful and I am really glad she gave it to me. This is an anti-aging cream and whilst I’m only 24, it’s good to protect my skin from aging now whilst I still have the chance to, so this is a great cream for that. As well as that this cream has lots of good things about it! First of all I want to comment how lovely this cream smells. I hate when face creams smell gross and chemically, as the last thing I want to apply to my face is something that has a smell that makes me gag and I have to keep sniffing for max ten minutes after applying. It has a delicate floral scent to it, and due to it being delicate it isn’t a strong smell either, which is an added bonus for myself. The cream is light and gel like but still very moisturising which I like, as due to my combination skin I hate thick creams as they never seem to sink in! Plus with a gel style face cream a little goes a very long way! This has certainly done wonders for my skin the past couple of weeks of using it and I recommend it to anyone who is after a high brand moisturiser. I love this face cream and I can see it reappearing on  my blog in the future.

  • Imperial Leather Japanese Spa Nourishing Bath Cream.

I love a good bath like any sane person and I’m always on the search to buy and try out new bubble baths to use after a long day, or at the start of the day to get myself ready for one! When this bath cream popped up in my bathroom at the start of the month I knew I would love it! I’ve used Imperial Leather’s Japanese Spa range before and I would be lying if I said I didn’t like it all that much. As regular readers will know from my Japanese Series (posts here, here, here, and here) I love anything Japanese and due to this containing ingredients related to Japan, I knew I would love this bath cream straight away! It contains green tea (yum!), rice milk and jasmine, which are all good at soothing the skin, as well as relaxing the mind, which is what I need after a long day or week after work. I love to use this one in the evenings after a close shift at work, as I’m usually shattered and in need of some TLC. After using this in the bath my skin felt soft and smooth, as well as smelling gorgeous! This smells really floral and fresh which I liked! I have another one of Imperial Leather’s bath creams in my bathroom cupboard, so I’m excited to try that one out once this ones finished. 🙂

  • The Body Shop Hemp Hand Protector (mentioned here and here).

Ever since discovering this hand cream before Christmas last year, it’s been a staple for my hand bag ever since! I love this hand cream and it’s been a life saver in the mornings before work when I forget to put any hand cream on before leaving the house! Not just in the mornings though, but throughout the whole day, whether I’m working or not. It always stays in my hand bag as it’s just my favourite hand cream to go to when I’m out and about. It’s a thick hand cream, designed for people with very dry skin and due to my on and off eczema on my hands, I indeed have very dry skin! My eczema has eased a lot now that the winter months have come and gone but that doesn’t stop me from having dry hands, however Hemp Hand Protector is a life (well hand) saver and there’s nothing that beats it for me when I’m on the go! It does have an odd scent to it, but it’s nothing that I can’t handle. This is featured on My Top 5 Hand & Foot Creams post, so make sure to go and check it out for a more detailed review on it, as well as a swatch of what it looks like!

  • Philip Kingsley Daily Damage Defence.

Another product given to my by my Mom! We love Philip Kingsley products in this house and as she ordered herself some new shampoo, she received this hair spray free, which she kindly gave to me. This is a lovely product to use on my hair and a real treat to be honest as whilst my hair is really long and taken good care of, I never really use hair masks, conditioners, or anything like that! I’ve been using this once, sometimes twice a week on my hair after washing it. You spray it onto wet hair through the middle of your hair and on the ends and without washing it out, use whatever heat you wish on your hair. I don’t use any tools on my hair, just my hairdryer so I apply this before I blow dry my hair. My hair feels and looks gorgeous after I use this product and it does feel like a real treat for my hair! It also smells really fresh, which I like as nasty smelling hair products aren’t exactly a treat are they… More like a torture for your nose! I feel this really does give my hair that oomph it needs mid-week and at the end of the week when I wash my hair. I think I would buy this product in a full size bottle as it’s just a lovely product to use for my hair.

  • Thierry Mugler Angel EDP (mentioned here).

I have to say going through my blog and finding that I haven’t spoken much about Angel on here since purchasing in 2012’s sales, is a big shock to me! I LOVE Angel and the fact I haven’t spoken about it much is rather shocking, and disappointing to myself. Angel is one of the first perfumes I smelt and fell in love with, thanks to my Mom. With my first proper job and the New Year sales shouting “BUY ME, I’M HALF PRICE!” I couldn’t resist the Angel gift set and I left the shop a mixture of excited and worried due to how much it cost at the time. Over a year later I don’t regret buying the gift set at all and I don’t have much of this perfume left, lucky for me though that I have a refill bottle! ANYWAY… I’ve been in love with Angel this month gone and have used it most days at work. It’s been rather warm lately and as it’s a perfume I can wear all year round, I decided to keep Angel in my bag for the majority of March and I’m glad I did! A couple of sprays of this and you’re good to go for most of the day and when I wear this for work I get a lot of compliments from customers. Angel is a very unique scent and one I know I’ll love for my entire life. I’ve recently been trying out the EDT version of Angel and although I don’t necessarily prefer it to the EDP, it does make a pleasant change and I can see me picking the EDT version up in the future for the summer months when I don’t want something too strong on my skin. I have a 25ml size bottle and although there isn’t much left now (MAX 20%) I can’t believe it’s lasted me over a year. Shows what a great perfume it is! 😀

  • Easy Nails Fast & Fruity Nail Polish Remover.

This isn’t a well-known brand nail polish remover pot, but it’s better than the well-known ones, that’s for sure! Just yesterday I had to pick myself up a new pot of this, as my current one is falling apart due to wear. I picked this up a while ago in Body Care for less than a £1.00 and since then I have been in love with using it. It smells of yummy peaches which is a definite bonus and not only that it ACTUALLY removes all my nail polish in max 7 twists of my nail. It has a spongy inside, as well as plenty of nail polish remover and with some turns of the pot, or your nail your nail polish will be removed! It doesn’t quite remove glitter nail polish, but I find that if I twist my glitter covered nail around in the pot for a while, remove, and then apply a cotton pad covered in nail polish remover to the nail, the glitter comes away in one easy rub. I’ve tried Bourjois nail polish remover pot before and I’m not going to sugar coat it, it’s crap… REALLY CRAP and it makes me somewhat angry that I wasted nearly £5.00 on it when I picked up this beauty for less than a £1.00 and it works 100 times better! Oh well, I guess you live and learn eh? Just so you know too if you’re thinking of picking this up, Home Bargains sell it for less than a £1.00 too, which is where I picked my new pot up from today.

  • L’Oreal L’Extraordinaire Liquid Lipstick by Color Riche in Ruby Opera (mentioned here).

I heard about these liquid lipsticks from L’Oreal a couple of months before they arrived in the UK thanks to Eating Lipstick over the pond and although she didn’t rate them highly, I still wanted to give them a go, especially Ruby Opera, which is a gorgeous true red shade. At the moment I’m loving my red shades for lips and it’s all I’ve been wearing during March! Red really does suit my skin tone and as my lips have been a tad on the dry side on and off this month I’ve found myself reaching for Ruby Opera more so than any other lip product. I don’t want to go into too much detail about Ruby Opera here as I plan to review it this month at some point so I want to save all the details for then. I will say however what a gorgeous glossy lipstick this is! The texture of this and application is more like a lip gloss than a lipstick but it has the staying power of a lipstick, this being said I do find I have to reapply this after a few hours if I’m drinking a lot, but with a lip liner underneath I have no problems. These come in a lot of shades and I’ve already got my eye on another one… Which I would have bought yesterday if I had of had 20p extra points on my Boots card! But oh well, I can keep saving those towards a new perfume. 😛 This is a great liquid lipstick and I love it so much and recommend them to everyone who wishes to try something different.

  • Models Own Sticky Fingers Nail Polish in Sweet Candy (mentioned here).

Although this is a very new purchase, I haven’t been able to stop wearing the nail polish in this set on my fingers and toes! It’s called Nude Beige and when applied to your nails it looks glossy and almost gel like. I wore this last Thursday and it looked gorgeous, I was sad to have to take it off for work the next day. I applied one of the cute little stickers on my ring finger, which refused to come off, that isn’t a bad sign but next time I’ll be tempted to leave it on there. 😛 I recommend these nail polishes to anyone who wants to try something a little different as they’re definitely that and for £5.00 you won’t be breaking the bank giving these a go. I can’t wait to wear this nail polish again and I can safely say that I think it’s going to become a favourite for spring and summer this year.

  • EOS Blueberry Acai Smooth Sphere Lip Balm (mentioned here).

When my friend Amy came to visit me in Birmingham a month ago we wandered off around Selfridges to look at MAC, Illamasqua, as well as lots of other high brands to drool over, but I gave into one of my items from my March Wish List by buying this lip balm and I’m SO glad I did! I did somewhat worry to myself that I would buy it and not use it after a while but I find that I can’t put it down and I use it at home, work, on my days off, before bed, just everywhere, whenever and however I can! It smells of a blueberry green tea I drink, which is lovely and it also feels gorgeous on the lips. It does help keep them soft and smooth, the only thing I dislike about this is the price, seeing as it’s £5.99! But well worth the money if you ask me. Aside from that, the only other thing I sort of dislike is people commenting and asking me what I’m applying to my lips, which is more annoying than anything, but with a short explanation, their questions and confusions are answered.

  • Nintendo 2DS Handheld Console in White & Red. Captain America bought separately (mentioned here and here).

Okay now I know this isn’t a beauty related item but I HAD TO mention my Nintendo 2DS here as since buying it it has become something I play on everyday if I can, and right now I always make sure to make time to play it. I mentioned on the first post mentioned above how I had wanted one for ages and a very hungover and tired me decided to take the plunge and buy one, seeing as  my boyfriend was. Now we play on our 2DS’s together and whilst he has three games, I still have two, Pokemon X and Animal Crossing: New Leaf. I already want another game and I know that won’t be the last, as the Nintendo Store has loads of games I wish to get my grubby paws on! I love my 2DS so much and I really can’t stop playing games on it. ^_^

So those were all my favourites for this month!

What were your favourite products, beauty or anything for that matter? Let me know in the comments down below!

If you have any questions about any of the products I mentioned in this months favourite, please feel free to ask.

Until next time, take care all and here’s to April, hope no one got fooled.

March Wish List

I’m still continuing strong with my spending ban, although I did buy myself a few things last weekend as a treat for a rough week, as well as getting myself a pay rise (of 10p! xD) go me!

So like every new month, I post about which things I want to get my dirty little hands on and with some new beauty related products coming out last month, I definitely have those on my wish list this month.

So without further ado, here is my March wish list, I assure you though that most of my wish list this month will be lip products!

NAtalees wish list march 2013

Although I don’t know her personally and she doesn’t know me personally, I am so proud of Tanya Burr for getting her own Nail Polish and Lip Gloss collection out there! She’s such a wonderful person and an amazing blogger and YouTube Beauty Guru and over the years has just done better and better. I hope she continues to go strength to strength! Now, on with the nail polish. The only shade I really have my eye on is Little Duck and since its release I’ve read about it on pretty much most of the blogs I follow on Bloglovin’ and I just want it so badly for spring and summer. I’d team it with some glitter nail polish too and it’d just be perfect with the dress I picked up on my recent shopping trip. I can’t wait to get my hands on this!

I’ve had my eye on these liquid lipsticks since Eating Lipstick posted about them over on her blog. She’s an American blogger so she mentioned them back towards the end of 2013 but since then I have hoped so much that they would come out in the UK, so last week I found out about them coming out over here and I can’t wait to get my hands on some! The one I have my eye on the most is Ruby Opera, which is a gorgeous true red shade. Of late I have grown in love with wearing red shades again and as much as I love wearing lipstick, sometimes my lips just need a break and as my gone to shade these days is red, my eyes were most attracted to the red shade in this collection. I would like to pick up a pink and purple shade, but I’ll have to wait until I swatch some shades to see which ones I pick up in the near future.

I have been after a new case for my iPhone since Christmas and as of yet haven’t found it. As I mentioned in one of my Japanese series posts I love Pokemon and this phone case is just adorable. It’s an official product from the Pokemon Center and one I have been lusting after for a few weeks in February. It’s a clean case with a picture of Pikachu on the back, with a space above his head for the Apple logo on the back of the iPhone 5 to show through, so it looks like it’s on Pikachu’s head. Cute huh? This isn’t cheap. but it would be coming all the way from Tokyo!

I have wanted to try one of the EOS lip balms since they launched in the UK and as I love Blueberry, this one seems like the most ideal one for me to try, alongside Lemon Drop. I don’t exactly need a new lip balm but this one would be cute to keep in my bag for out on the go, as well as in my apron whilst I’m at work. Selfridges sell all the EOS lip balms, this one included so I’m contemplating picking it up when I run out of one of my many lip balms in my handbag.ED

I’ve heard NOTHING but good about Flamingo Candles and on so many occasions have nearly ordered one, if not just some of the scent melts so that I could give them a go before buying them  properly. But I have a sure feeling I will love these! I have my eye on a couple of the scents, if I were to buy the scent melts, including Bubblegum, White Tea & Mint, Cheesecake Crunch, Fresh Peppermint, Tropical Coconut Milk & Honey, Jamaican Café & Walnut, Lemon & Lime Mojito, and Pink Lemonade. These all just sound so delicious and when/if I order myself one of these candles next month I’ll probably order a couple of the scent melts too, if not just a load of the scent melts, they only cost £2.00 each and I guess it’ll mean I can get a taste for the scent of the candle itself before I plunge into buying the whole thing. But I have a feeling I’ll love Flamingo Candles and I intend to write a post about these in the future!

I won’t lie, I thought Rihanna’s Viva Glam collection was going to be a flop. Another matte red lipstick, just in a different packaging but oh how wrong I was, and the rest of the beauty blogging world too, who also thought the same as I did! This lipstick is infact a Frosty Blue-Red and when I saw the swatches for that and the lipglass it over on Temptalia’s post about it, I instantly fell in love! I thought I needed the lipstick in my life, but after swatching it when I went to MAC with my Mom recently, I found out I don’t like it all that much, but I really do love the lipglass! I’ve really been in  love with red shades recently and this one not only looks pretty for its shade, but the packaging looks lovely too. I know I’ll be picking this up soon, just in time for the summer!

When I went shopping last weekend, I did see and look at this dress and as tempted as I was to try it on, I didn’t as I wanted to not spend too much money as well as the thought I wasn’t 100% sure on it! But my boyfriend reassured me that it’s very me and I should try it on in future, which I think I will do. It’s a gorgeous white crop top underneath a grey tartan dress. It’s very punk/grunge but with a light and, sweet tone to it. It’d look lovely with my Chelsea boots, maybe even my Dr Martens! It’d be lovely to wear during the spring and summer months this year, which is why I am rather tempted to try it on and possibly buy.

Once again,  I am so proud of Tanya Burr for what she has accomplished with her lip gloss and nail polish collection and whilst I want to buy most of her lip gloss shades, I for now have my eye on one, Exotic Island. It’s a gorgeous purple shade, which reminds me of Rebel. I love this deep vampy purple shade, but sometimes I don’t want to wear Rebel and I’ll just want to opt for a gloss when I want to give my lips a rest from lipsticks, so I think this gloss would be a perfect alternative. It won’t break the bank at £6.99 either!

So, that was my wish list for March! I can see me buying all the beauty related products, as after last year, March will probably be a rough month for myself and a few little treats to try and make me feel better, might help, for a while.

As always, if you have any questions about any of the items mentioned here, please leave them down below in the comments. Also which items are you lusting after this month?

Until next time, take care all and have a good week!
