My New Phone – (Product) Red iPhone XR

It’s been about 2 weeks since I decided to bite the bullet and get myself an upgrade on my iPhone 6.

There wasn’t really anything wrong with my phone per say, but the battery life was pretty shocking and it was gradually getting worse. I love playing Pokemon GO daily and if I played that and did personal and blog related stuff on social media it was causing me to need to charge my phone max 5 times a day. Crazy, I know!

So I waited for the newest iPhone’s to be announced before deciding whether to change. I had eyed up the red iPhone 8 for a while as I noticed it was in the sale via John Lewis and Argos. But this just seemed silly considering there were plans for a newer phone to come out.

So when the iPhone XR was announced and in different colours, I got just a little bit excited.

I rang my network provider to see if I could strike a bargain with them, but that wasn’t happening! I did get given a semi decent offer at the time, but looking back it was actually pretty shit. I was pretty disappointed and pissed off but meh.

So I started wondering whether it was worth saving up or doing some sort of finance. The more I thought about it, the more I WANTED the new phone.

After doing some research I found out that Apple actually do their iPhone Upgrade Programme which means you can pay for one of the newest iPhone’s with no extra charges aka 0% interest. It’s all sorted by Barclays as well so you know it’s legit, if that makes sense. 😛

I popped into the store, had a chat with a member of staff and discussed all my options. If you decide to do the Upgrade Programme the monthly price you pay for your phone also includes Apple Care. You can do it without that which works out about £6.00 cheaper but I went for the Apple Care too, I mean why the hell not for such a small price?

I didn’t use it for a few days after I got it as I wanted to make sure I had a good and sturdy phone case for it. I finally got my phone case through and as I wasn’t very well that day I literally spent the whole day in bed sorting out my new phone playing with it. It was fun to be fair.

I am in LOVE with my iPhone XR and it has been such a game changer for me in so many ways.

I decided to get the red version as I have always loved the look of the red iPhones and I love that they donate some of the profits from the red coloured devices to their (RED) charity which has supported HIV/AIDS for the past 11 years. It’s amazing!

I decided to up my game and go from a 16GB to a MASSIVE 128GB! No more worrying about having too many photos on my phone, as well as deleting apps I haven’t used for a fortnight to make way for another one. It’s nice to be able to have apps for everything I would want and need, which is great. It’s what I’ve wanted and to be fair needed for God knows how long now.

The battery life is amazing and it lasts all day without a charge. I don’t think I’ve hot the red line on my battery yet, which I’m so chuffed with.

The phone is also a bit bigger than my iPhone 6 and at first this was so odd to get used to, but I’ve fast gotten used to this and I actually rather like having a bigger screen. Dane still has the iPhone 5s which is tiny, so whenever I go to use his phone for anything I feel alien to it, especially the screen.

The quality of the screen is superb and it’s definitely making the little things like playing games and watching YouTube videos perfect for me and I’m really loving it. It does take looking at Dane’s phone to realise what leaps and bounds Apple have gone to to make sure to bring us the best phone from them out.

Of course this phone has Animoji which is a lot of fun to use, but something I haven’t found myself using as much as I thought I would. I rather like using it to message Dane silly little things. There’s loads of things you can do with it, but as of yet I haven’t tried them. This is something I’ll have a play with on a lazy Sunday morning.

So I thought I would show you my new phone, as well as the phone cases I ordered, as well as my PopSocket I ordered for it too.

The original phone case I ordered isn’t anything special and was just something to keep me going until the case I arrived from Redbubble arrived.

I really liked it though and will definitely use it again in the future. I’ll probably pop some stickers on it and make it unique and my own.

Image take from Daily Mail

I also ordered myself a PopSocket when I ordered the case and it has seriously been a game changer for the way I hold my phone. I used to rest my little finger under the phone, which not only hurt but woud cause a ridge/dent in my little finger. Not good! It’s actually a thing now, so much so there are people who have badly bent fingers due to it. You can read about it in the photo source link above.

I decided to pick up the nebula PopSocket and I do really like it. I have my eye on another one I’d love to get, but we shall see. Even Dane has rather liked how good PopSockets are, so I may, MAY be getting him one for Christmas… We shall see. 😛

Finally the phone case I ordered from Redbubble for my phone arrived and I LOVED it so much! It’s a Spirited Away phone case which has a childlike looking drawing of Haku and Chihiro. I miss my old phone case so much for my iPhone 6 with the Mew asleep amongst the pink flowers, so I wanted to find a good replacement. I knew I wanted to get something with Haku on and this was the nicest one I found.

The quality of Redbubble tough cases are amazing and you would think they wouldn’t be, but honestly I never had an issue with my iPhone 6 case.

What do you think of the design?

I’m not a massive phone case collecter the older I’ve got. I hate the ones with the liquid glitter in and I especially hate obnoxious massive ones that case your phone to look stupidly awkward to hold… Oh and stupid! 😛

So yeah any phone cases I decide to get are usually from Redbubble or the Pokemon Center.

Overall I LOVE my new iPhone and I’m so glad I waited and got this one. It’s perfect for me to be honest and I don’t feel like I can complain about anything.

Are or do you have a new phone? Let me know in the comments! I’d love to hear which one you have and also which one(s) you’d love to get.

Until next time, take care all and have an amazing weekend! Last full weekend now until December.

June Favourites ’17

It is now July and month seven of the year! 2017 is going by so quickly and whilst a part of me is somewhat glad about that, it’s also always creepy when we edge into another month. Soon it’ll be August bank holiday, then holiday and autumn, then Halloween and bonfire night, and then Christmas and New Year. Fuck. Stop time just for a bit. 😛

I loved all my favourites from last month as I discovered some new beauty products and was reminded how good some oldies are too. So I hope you enjoy this months favourites post. ^_^

  • Imperial Leather Foamy Banana Hand Wash.

I’ve been eyeing up this hand wash for ages, but never bought it as me and Dane have had LOADS of hand washes to get through. Then towards the end of the month I was able to pick up a couple of these in Poundland. They smell amazing, just like the shower cream and bubble bath. So far since me using it my eczema hasn’t disliked it, so I’m hoping and keeping fingers crossed that I’ll be okay with it! If so I’ll be buying this and using it as our regular hand wash for as long as possible. 😛

  • Nivea Blueberry Blush Lip Butter.

I picked this lip butter up randomly when on an alcohol run before going to a friends BBQ. I’d forgotten my tin of Vaseline in the house and I KNEW I would need something for my lips. I’ve mentioned a few times this past week that my lips are still playing up on and off so I need constant moisture to keep my lips soft and from splitting again. This lip butter is amazing! I love blueberry scented things so this smells divine, but it’s also a thick lip butter which actually feels like it’s working. I have it for around the house as well as for in my handbag when I want something thick on my lips. I recommend these though if you’re not a fan of Vaseline and want to try something different.

  • L’Oreal Paris Hydra Genius Liquid Care in Normal To Combination.

I recently reviewed this (which you can read here) and I love it so much! June has been a pretty hot month and we had some of the hottest days of the year during the month. This liquid moisturiser was wonderful to use towards the end of the month and really is something that had to feature on here! It’s also helped my skin quite a bit with my oily t-zone. Can’t complain about that at all! 😛

  • MUA Luxe Inked Lip Stain in Sangria.

This is a lip stain I bought months ago but hardly used, until recently. I tried blending this with the shade Dewberry to create blended look with my lipstick. Not only did it look great when I applied it but it lasted ages too, which I was really happy with! It’s so comfortable to wear especially in the warm weather. My only issue with it is it smells and tastes disgusting! >.<

  • The Body Shop Oils of Life Twin-Ball Facial Massager.

This is a product I bought over a year ago and one I had hardly used until recently. With the warmer weather I thought it would be nice to use this massager on my skin after my serum and moisturiser. This has especially worked well teamed up with hydra genius! Due to the metal balls it feels lovely and cooling on the skin which I love the most about it. I don’t know if I’ve noticed any differences in my skin  by using it yet however. I also use this under my eyes after applying my eye gel to help with my eye bags. The Body Shop have in fact released one specifically for the eye area so I’ll be buying that one very soon!

So now my beauty favourites are done, time to talk about the miscellaneous favourites of the month!

Favourite TV Show – RuPaul’s Drag Race Season 9.

Oh my God what a season this one has been! It’s definitely been one of my favourites for a long time and that is just purely down to Sasha Velour, who in turn has become my favourite drag queen. At the time of writing this (21st June AKA 2 days before the final!) I am really rooting for her to win this season. She fucking deserves it to be honest. She’s funny, unique, beautiful and not to mention down to earth and not fucking fake. I hate fake queens so damn much!

EDIT: HOLY FUCKING SHIT MY GIRL WON! I am so damn happy that Sasha won season 9! She’s the only queen who wasn’t in the bottom two throughout the competition and I only realised that whilst watching it. That shit she pulled with the rose petals. Fuck yes my lady!!! I have to add that I also loved Peppermint’s performance too and I’m very glad that she came second! I’ve already said that as soon as Sasha Velour announces doing some dates in the UK I WILL be going! 😀

Favourite Film – Split.

After 5 months of saying we would watch it, me and Dane FINALLY watched Split and let me tell you, I loved it. I wanted more from James McAvoy’s character as I loved him so much. He’s also one of my favourite actors and has been since the start of his career when he played Steve in Shameless (the UK one of course, not the shitty American version!). I’ve heard a lot of mixed reviews about this film and how some people loved it and some hated it. I honestly can understand why people didn’t like it, but I felt it worked really well and the twist at the end was pretty awesome. It’s very mental health related and that’s something you find out at the end which is really interesting. It just worked so damn well and McAvoy’s acting was fucking perfect.

Favourite Book – Erm…

I’m not going to lie. I haven;t been reading fuck all this month. I keep meaning to take Bridget Jones Mad About the Boy to work but I always forget. That and I feel like I hardly get any time to even read a decent amount. I have ordered some manga recently so I’m sure I’ll be reading that soon. ^_^

Favourite Song – Persona 5 OST – Behind The Mask (Instrumental).

I feel like I do nothing but talk about this game and erm why the fuck shouldn’t I? IT’S AMAZING! I am legit spending my day off tomorrow by playing this and doing housework. That is so sad. 😛 ANYWAY! The soundtrack from this game is an actual God send for me and I’m fully addicted to it. I need to download it as I want it to listen to whilst on holiday. I’ve found in the past that it’s really good to listen to whilst doing blog work as it’s really interesting. If you love jazz music, you’ll love this album. There is also a version of the song with lyrics/singing but I prefer the instrumental version.

Favourite Game – Pokemon Magikarp Jump.

I so desperately wanted to talk about Persona 5 again, but I can’t possibly. I spoke about it last month. 😛 BUT I have been loving this iPhone game! It’s an official Pokemon game and has been out about a month now. You basically train your Magikarp to jump as high as possible so that it can compete against other Magikarp! It’s kind of addicting and I often play it on my lunch break at work. I know a lot of people who have given it a go and got very bored of it, often deleting it. I love it though! What I find is the best thing about it? You don’t need to be on a wifi nextwork or 3G/4G to play it. WIN WIN!

So those are my favourites from last month. What products were you loving? Make sure to let me know in the comments down below!

Until next time take care all and have a lovely weekend.

A-Z: Get To Know Me!

I recently found a post of the same title by Be over at Love From Be (link) and I just loved the post so much. It was just a nice and different way of getting to know the blogger you enjoy reading, or have just discovered. So I thought I would give it a go myself! Make sure to go and check out Be’s blog, as she’s so lovely and down to Earth.

Anime – I love anime so much, it’s something I have enjoyed watching from a young age, and the older I’ve got the more anime shows I have found myself watching. Some of my favourites are Elfen Lied, Nana, Azumanga Daioh, Himouto! Umaru-Chan, Sword Art Online, and Fullmetal Alchemist.

Blogging – I didn’t want to have to use this as the letter B, but I really couldn’t think of anything else! I love my blog. It’s my number one hobby, and something I would love to turn into my job in the future. I’ve been running my blog for four years now, and I continue to carry on with it for as long as possible.

Coffee – Well, the title of my blog does have the word coffee in it! I do really like coffee, so much so I worked in Costa Coffee for nearly three years. That is probably the first time I’ve admitted to working in Costa on my blog. 😛 My favourite coffee is vanilla flat white. I love my coffee strong! 😛

Dirty Sanchez – One of my favourite shows has to be this. I love not only that the guys are from the UK, but I also love how they do some worse off stuff than what Jackass have ever done. I’m sad that they aren’t still around, but I’ll always think of Dirty Sanchez as one of the shows I grew up watching and loving.

Evanescence – My favourite band for over ten years now. I fell in love with them when I first heard “Bring Me To Life” on KERRANG! Radio. I ended up buying their first album Fallen and listening to it none stop. I still have that album to this day! I have seen them live twice, and hope to go again in the future. I’ve also met all the band mates (apart from Amy!) from the Evanescence album days. My favourite song is “Imaginary”.

Fuerteventura – This place is legit my second home. I’ve been going there since the age of 5 and I love it. I didn’t go for 10 years and it broke my heart, I forgot how much I loved it and how amazing it was there. I really want to live there one day… But we shall see. I would want to work in a cocktail bar, or hell even run my own on the beach! 😛

Gaming – I’m a gamer. Not a hardcore one, but I still love to play my games! I’m also a console collector too, and I currently own 7 consoles (Nintendo SNES and GameCube, Playstation, PS2, PS3, and PS4, and an Xbox 360), as well as my handheld collection of the original Game Boy, Game Boy Color, Game Boy Advance, Nintendo DS Lite, and my Nintendo 2DS. Go me! But I love playing games. Currently obsessed with the LEGO games. I can’t wait for the Star Wars one to come out.

Hyper Japan – I went to my first Hyper Japan convention last summer in London and I loved it so damn much! It wasn’t as good as I was hoping it was going to be, but I still enjoyed myself. I really hope that me and Dane can attend the winter one this year, seeing as we went to the summer one last year.

iPhone – I own an iPhone 6 and I love it to bits! It’s by far the best phone I have owned to date, and I just love it. It feels nice to hold, is great to look at, and to be honest my new phone case just makes me happy. I only got it in the post yesterday when I got home from work and it’s just so adorable. Who can say no to a sleeping Mew, huh?

Jackass – Another one of my favourite shows. I grew up watching this too funnily enough! I would skip school to stay at home eating toast and watching TV shows on MTV. Or I would stay awake all night watching them on Viva. God those were the days! I was gutted when Ryan Dunn died too by the way. It really hit home as he was my favourite one on the show. I’m sad that this has also come to an end, but I love Bad Grandpa, it’s amazing!

Kawaii – A Japanese word for cute. I love cute things and often say kawaii about them to try and be cute myself. It rarely works and I end up looking like a complete loser. 😛

Lipstick – This is really the only makeup I wear, and I’m pretty damn proud of that! I love lipstick, and I’ve recently started to get braver in wearing darker lip shades than I already wear. I love liquid lipsticks the most right now. My favourite brand being Jeffree Star Cosmetics. I also love my MAC lipsticks too, my favourite shade will always be Rebel. I love wearing reds, dark pinks, and purples. Can never get enough of them!

Manga – I love reading manga. I started to read it back in 2011 when I finish university and had time on my hands. I started with Elfen Lied, then moved onto Azumanga Daioh, and Nana. I currently have some Nana to finish reading and then I’ll be moving onto the Sword Art Online series. I need to read the Attack On Titan manga too… But I only have enough time on my hands for one thing at a time.

Nendoroid – These are the awesome figures that me and Dane collect, and we really do love them! We have a nice little collection going at the mostly, which are mostly Dane’s. I only have 3 at the moment whilst he has (from memory) 10 figures… My collection is really lame in comparison! Good Smile recently announced they were creating a Deadpool Nendoroid, so me and Dane are really excited for him!

Ocean – I love the ocean. I love how beautiful it looks and sounds with the colours, and the crashing and gentle swishing noises. I finally got to swim in the sea/ocean on my holiday last January with Dane and I loved it so damn much! I can’t wait to do that again someday.

Image taken from We Heart It

Pokemon – Since the age of 6 I have loved Pokemon, and that love is still just as strong now 10 years later. I still play the games, lust after the cute plushies (as you’ll have seen from my recent wish list post here), and get excited when any new news comes out to do with the franchise. I don’t care if I’m a 26-year-old woman, I love Pokemon! 😛

Queens Of The Stone Age – One of my other favourite bands, and one I really want to see soon! I have always ended up not going to see them live due to having no money, no one to go with, or them playing too far away from home. When they tour again however I won’t let the chance slip away!

Red – Not my  favourite colour (that’s purple) but it’s my colour of choice clothing wise! I love the colour red and how bold, and sexy it looks. It also suits me due to my warm yellow skin tone, as well as my brown hair and eyes. I’m after a gorgeous red rain coat at the moment, but alas I haven’t found much.

Studio Ghibli – This is my Disney. You know everyone loves Disney movies? Well I love Studio Ghibli movies. Me and my boyfriend between us have pretty much all of the films on DVD and whenever a new one comes out we try to go and watch it at the cinema. My favourite is Spirited Away, it always has been and I’m pretty sure it always will be. I do rather like Grave of The Fireflies, even though it’s a really sad film.

Teachers – Another TV show I grew up watching! This used to be on Channel 4 back in the day when I was still at school myself! It always made me want to be a teacher deep down due to how much fun all the teachers had both in and outside of school. Alas that hasn’t happened… My favourite season is probably season 2, but I love them all!

Image taken from We Heart It

Umaru – I am legit Umaru… Constantly hermitting away in my room playing games, eating crap, reading manga, and lusting after things I can’t afford to buy. I’m not cute like her though… Just a very sad 16-year-old stuck inside someone 10 years older than herself… Oh dear. 😛

Vitamin D – This is an odd one, but I actually recently found out I have a vitamin D deficiency… Which of course sucks but I’m currently on medication to help it. The little pills I get are tiny blue ones, which remind me of The Matrix. 😛

Writing – I love to write. I do it for my blog, I write books and stories in my spare time, and I even studied critical and creative writing for my masters degree (as well as for my BA too…). So it is safe to say I love writing. 😛 Need I say more than that???

X (I apologise but I couldn’t think of anything with this letter…)

Yankee Candle – I love these candles! They’re my candle of choice whenever I go to buy any new ones, so I’m always burning them at home. I currently have Christmas Eve burning at the moment as I’m trying to use up all my  tea lights and votives. 🙂

Z (I apologise but I couldn’t think of anything with this letter…)

Image taken from We Heart It

So that was my A-Z about me! Thanks again to Be for posting about this, as if she hadn’t I might not have gotten the chance to have a go at it myself. I also apologise if any of my answers were lame… 😛

Will you be having a go at talking about yourself through an A-Z post? Make sure to let me know if you do so I can read yours!

Until next time, take care all and I hope you’re having a great week so far.

Currently #3

It’s been a couple of weeks since I updated you on my life, and my currently posts… But that’s because I’ve been too damn busy to! With me working longer hours, and just life being busy in general it has prevented me from doing my next currently, until now at least!

I’ve been really poorly the past couple of days and as a result I’ve been lying in bed, miserable, and resting up… Whilst catching up on blog related matters! So I have finally have time to get on track with my blog, as well as get posts written up for whilst I’m on holiday.

So here is my third currently list!

Watching: I’ve recently discovered RuPaul’s Drag Race, and it’s safe to say I am obsessed. I started season 6 recently, and when I’ve watched this and season 7 I don’t know what I’m going to do with myself! I also don’t know where I’ll be watching season 7 yet as I’ve been watching them all (well apart from season 1 which I watched online) on Netflix. God bless Netflix! I never really thought it would be my sort of thing, but I just adore it, my boyfriend has even enjoyed watching it at times! My favourite winners have been Raja, Sharon Needles, and Jinkx Monsoon, the latter being my favourite. They were all just so different and alternative, the style that I love anyway! I can’t wait to see who will win season 6 now.

Playing: I haven’t really been playing much since I finished Life Is Strange but one game I have been loving lately is TsumTsum, the phone app. I’ve spoken about it in the past on previous currently posts. I love being able to play it on the go, whilst walking to and from work, and before I go to bed. It is a really relaxing game and one that I think people with anxiety like myself should play. On the topic of games, Nintendo recently announced that they will be releasing all the original Pokemon games (Red, Blue, and Yellow) on the Nintendo eShop for people to play! I cannot wait to relive my childhood, and I intend to buy them all to play!

Listening: I’ve been listening to Daft Punk’s latest album Random Access Memories. It’s by far one of my favourites of theirs and one that holds a big place in my heart. It came out the year my life changed dramatically in both good and bad ways, so it holds a very big place indeed. There are certain songs on the album that I love, one being in a YouTube video above. I just love Daft Punk so much, they’re by far one of my oldest and favourite bands. I’ve actually written a review of this album, and it’s pretty in-depth for anyone who may want to read it, I’ll link it here.

Image taken from weheartit.com

Eating: There isn’t any food that I’ve been eating much of lately to be honest… If anything my eating habits have gone rather odd. I find myself not having much appetite one day, and then I’ll want to eat everything another day. I recently tried a chicken, bacon, and three cheese toastie from Greggs. It was amazing and the thought of it at this moment in time is making my mouth water! A food I have found myself eating a lot is egg and chips… I don’t know why! It’s just so easy and simple to make to be fair. I had it for dinner earlier in the week when I was poorly and I loved it.

Wearing: The cold weather is slowly creeping back and with this it has meant I’ve needed to bring out my big parka back from out of the wardrobe. I love how fluffy it is and how huge the hood is on it. As well as this I have finally started to wear my new 101 Dalmatians Vans (post about those here) and they’re so cute and comfortable! I can’t wait to wear them on holiday next week. Speaking of coats too, I have dragged out my red cape out to wear for Christmas parties and popped on my cute new Pokemon pin badge (can see that here) so it shows my nerdy side!

Image taken from Skinny Dip London website

Wanting: There isn’t much I really want at the moment due to Christmas being just around the corner now (well just over a month away!) so meh I don’t know. There just isn’t much I am lusting after I guess. If there is one thing I want it’s more money to buy people’s Christmas presents, and time! Otherwise one thing I would like right now is the Skinny Dip London iPhone 6 Case with the gorgeous Glitter Unicorn pattern on it (can find that here) but I keep saying to myself to wait for it… I hope this has been bought for me for Christmas… 😛

So that was my third currently list! Which of these things are you currently doing at the moment? Make sure to let me know in the comments down below.

Until next time, take care all.

Non Beauty Favourites #1

Whilst chilling out in my room this morning, applying for jobs, and catching up with iPlayer, I decided that I would share my non beauty favourites with you guys. I’ve always wanted to do a post like this, but I’ve never really had enough things to actually talk about to make it worthy enough. However, I have loads of things I have been loving lately, that I just NEED to share them with you now!

  • 100% Chilled Album

I’ve owned this album for a month now, if not a little longer and I really do love it! Aside from alternative, metal, and pretty much any form of rock music, I also really like electronica, house, and chill out music. So when I saw this album being advertised, I knew I had to have it! I’m not a huge fan of compilation CD’s and I don’t know if this is due to being bought Now CD’s as soon as they came out as a kid. I loved them, don’t get me wrong! But I often found out of 40 songs I would only like about half of them, if that. I always found I swayed towards CD two as well, the one that didn’t have the popular songs on it. However with this album I like pretty much all the songs, which is good of course! I pop this on for my drive to and from work, it really does help me chill out, and I love having a sing along with the tracks that come on. I now have this on my iPod and my iPhone so I can listen to it when on the go as well. I’ll be taking it on holiday as well for me and my dad to listen to, as I know he’ll love it. I thought I would list my top 5 favourite tracks off of the album:

  1.  “La La La” ft. Sam Smith – Naughty Boy (YouTube link)
  2. “Waves” (Robin Schulz Radio Edit) – Mr. Probz (YouTube link)
  3. “Stay High” (Hippie Sabotage Remix) – Tove Lo (YouTube link)
  4. “Intro” – The xx (YouTube link)
  5. “Counting Stars”OneRepublic (YouTube link)

If you think you’ll like the sound of this album, I recommend picking it up! Aside from No Devotion’s new album coming out at the end of the month, I can see this being my go to album for autumn and winter.

  • South Park

If there is one show that I cannot stop watching at the moment, it’s most definitely South Park. A thing of genius, beauty, and offensive shit. I’m even watching it now whilst I write this post! I’ve just got to season 12 and wow, the show really has changed since season 1, the season I grew up watching and pissing myself laughing at. Next week the new season will launch, which is pretty cool and exciting! A lot of people don’t like South Park due to how offensive it can be, but I think it’s hilarious and when you read and watch interview with Trey Parker and Matt Stone, you find out that they aren’t intending to offend people, they’re just making a silly TV show and if it offends people, then it wasn’t intentional. Of course, they are also the guys behind The Book of Mormon (review here), something I went to watch with my boyfriend in July. Lately I’ve not been feeling too great, and when I’ve been at home I’ve been watching this and it sure has cheered me up! It’s hard to pick my favourite character, but since it came out it has always been Kenny, but Butters is now my second favourite. They’re both somewhat similar, but different at the same time. Kenny is poor, doesn’t take off his parka that often, and seems to be more knowledgeable about women out of all the boys. He’s also notorious for being killed in episodes, something the creators stopped happening so often, so when they DO kill him in an episode it’s hilarious. Whereas with Butters, he is just adorable! Constantly getting into trouble with his parents and being grounded, being the innocent one out of all the boys, and just being adorable when he says, “oh hamburgers!” I love South Park now more than I ever have, and I’ll be sad when I finally get up to date with all the episodes. Here are my favourite 5 episodes at the moment:

  1. “Weight Gain 4000” – Season 1
  2. “Kenny Dies” – Season 5
  3. “Scott Tenorman Must Die” – Season 5
  4. “Towelie” – Season 5
  5. “Stupid Spoiled Whore Video Playset” – Season 8
  6. “Woodland Critter Christmas” – Season 8
  7. “AWESOM-O” – Season 8
  8. “Marjorine” – Season 9
  9. “Best Friends Forever” – Season 9
  10. “Make Love Not Warcraft” – Season 10

Okay I couldn’t just do 5 episodes, I had to do 10! They’re in no best to last order, I love them all equally. Go check out South Park though if you loved it as a teen, it’s even better now.

  • Tsum Tsum iPhone Game

I’m totally addicted to this game! I used to own it when it first came out, but I got bored of it and ended deleting. Recently however I saw it being advertised on the App Store and decided to give it another go, and I’m glad I did. This is a little game where you need to join up the various Tsum Tsum characters to essentially get rid of them. They never go mind, but you can get loads of points and cash through it, and then with the cash you can buy new Tsum Tsum characters to play with. They all have different tricks and such you can use to get rid of the characters in the game. It’s very addictive, free, and I recommend it to anyone! The only thing I don’t like about it is that you need to e connected to wifi or 3G/4G to play it. GRR!

  • Sudoku

To me there is nothing better than relaxing evening of playing Sudoku whilst I watch South Park, or chill out with my boyfriend. Yeah, that sound pretty dull but I love it! Sudoku is something not many enjoy, due to how long it can take to finish one puzzle, but I love that side of it! Recently my boyfriend bought me this gorgeous book and since then I haven’t stopped doing the puzzles. I usually buy a cheapo mini book that I keep in my handbags when out on the go, but this one is much better to pull out of my bag. It was pricey at £2, but totally worth it!

So those were my non beauty favourites recently! I really enjoyed doing this post, and I can see me doing them every now and again. What did you think of this new addition to my blog? Yay, nay? Let me know the comments, as well as what non beauty things you’ve been loving lately.

Until next time, take care all!

My New iPhone 6!

This is something I have been super excited for since it was announced, and a couple of months ago I realised I would be able to upgrade in August and be able to get this beauty.

Finally after what felt like the longest two months ever, they flashed by and now I am the proud owner of an iPhone 6, and isn’t it gorgeous?

I’ve had it three days now and it’s so surreal… I know that sounds odd as it’s just a phone but I don’t know. After all the issues I had with my iPhone 5, I guess I’m just so pleased to have a brand new phone that’s actually mine. To give you a quick run down to what happened with my iPhone 5.

My original one was having issues a year after I got it, and before my holiday in January I took it to the Apple store to see what the issue could be. It had been built faulty and I was told it would cost me £200 to fix it… £200 I didn’t have! So I dealt with the issues during my holiday and when I came back I rang Orange (now EE) and told them the problems. Due to being a loyal and old customers they offered to give me a refurbished phone for free. Which they did, but that phone they sent me had way worse problems than the phone I had originally. I reported it and they once again sent me another refurbished phone, which I still have. It did appear to have a few issues, but they went away not long before I got my iPhone 6.

So now I have my new phone and it took me the good part of four hours to sort it out, let me tell you why, and also give you some tips on how to snag a great deal! I didn’t wish to go through Carphone Warehouse, even though a few of my friends had told me to do so due to their cheaper deals, etc. I’ve been through Carphone Warehouse in the past and when I had issues with an old phone they turned me away and said, “We can’t help you need to contact the manufacturer.” Which was a pain to be told but alas, I contacted them and they dealt with my issue. Another thing I don’t like with Carphone Warehouse is how they try and push deals onto you, that’s wrong. They would push me to insure with them, even though I had said many times no, and just to shut them up I would say yes to a monthly trial, only to cancel it a mere day later. Orange and EE don’t do this, if you say no, they accept that answer.

Anyway, I rambled. I found an amazing deal through Carphone Warehouse back in June and had print screened it incase the deal went away, which it did. When I spoke to them about this deal they said, “Okay we’ll do this deal for the day.” So as I said before, I didn’t wish to go through them, so I contacted EE and told them the offer Carphone Warehouse had proposed to me, and asked if they could match it. Not only did EE match it, but they offered me £10 less for the phone than Carphone Warehouse did! I was sold and took up their offer straight away.

So, if you’re upgrading with your phone provider make sure to do some hunting around, and especially print screen deals if you see good ones as they don’t stick around forever. I wasn’t rude to the people who I spoke to at EE, and they didn’t leave me feeling like I needed to. I simply told them the deal I had been proposed, and how I wanted to stick with them due to how amazing they had been with all my iPhone 5 problems the past year. Which is true! They have been amazing and I’m so pleased about how they’ve dealt with it all.

Another reason I’m glad that I didn’t go through Carphone Warehouse is due to the hacking issues they announced yesterday. I know this isn’t their fault, but I’m just so relieved!

Now all that further rambling is over, I can talk a little about the phone itself.

It is of course bigger than the iPhone 5, which I worried about at first, but it’s actually better. My hand doesn’t have to curve around so much to fit it into my palm, and the screen being bigger I don’t need to hold it super close to my face when I don’t wear my glasses. The smooth shape of it makes it feel nicer to hold as well. I especially love the fact you could get this in gold, which is the colour I went for. It just looks so clean and beautiful. Of course you get the fingerprint reader on the home button, which I am still getting used to. It does make things easier at times. The one thing I am especially getting used to with this is the on/off button being on the right hand side of the phone instead of on the top. But this being said, I really do prefer it there.

The one thing I am happy about with having the iPhone 6, and I know this somewhat sad but it’s true. The best thing is that I can finally use my Eeveelutions case from the Pokemon Center store in Japan! I bought this back in May and have waited patiently to finally snap it onto my phone, and let me tell you, it looks so cute and feels really nice to hold.

Another case I picked up for my phone is a cheap flip case which I’ll use for work. It’s got The Fault in Our Stars designs on it and it just looks super cute.

Overall I’m just really happy with it already and I can’t wait to get to use it more over the next two years.

Do you have an iPhone 6? If so, what do you love about it most? If you don’t have an iPhone would you like one, or maybe you don’t want one? As usual, let me know your comments down below.

Until next time take care all and enjoy the rest of your weekend.

A Japanese Haul – Pokemon Time Eievui Collection

This is a nerdy post today, and one I have been so excited to write too! These only arrived yesterday morning, but due to being away from home, I only got the chance a few hours ago to open these. Yes, this haul may be a bit quick to talk about, but it’s totally worth it.

Japan Loot is a website set up by the YouTuber Japanese Toy Collector who after reviewing certain toys from Japan, will put them up on the website to sell to people. How awesome is that? Of course when he reviewed some Eeveelution plushies, I knew I had to pick up the Eevee one, and I still love it to this day. Something I noticed about this seller, is how cheap he was selling certain items for in comparison to some websites and stores out there.

When he made a video about one of the items from the Eievui Collection, I just had to drop him an email and ask if he would be able to get anymore and sell those to me. Of course, he did and here I have a few little bits that I asked him to grab for me!

I only asked for three things, although I could have asked for a hell of a  lot more! I do have my eye on the cute little plushies, but I’ll be good. I don’t need them… 😛

My package arrived in less than a week, which is amazing considering where it traveled from! I was delighted when I opened it to find this yellow bag, an official Pokemon Center bag! I’m going to make sure to cherish this until I can one day go to the store myself.

The three things I picked up was an iPhone 6 cover which as you can see is covered in all the Eeveelutions, a Vaporeon mobile phone strap, and a blind bag t-shirt. As I said previously, I do wish I had bought more!

In August I’ll be able to pick up a new phone, and of course I’ll be opting for the iPhone 6. I’ve had so many problems with my iPhone 5 that I just want a new phone now, that is MINE and not a refurbished one. So I decided I would treat myself to a case, one I know I’ll use loads and love just as much. I’ve been after a phone case that stands out for ages and in so many ways, this one will turn heads. Especially heads of Pokemon nerds like myself. Although it says it’s a soft case, it’s pretty durable and will keep your phone safe as well as looking cute! I really can’t wait to get an iPhone 6 now so I can put this on it. I mean, look how cute the different Eeveelutions are on it. As you can see all of them are separated, but at times are all together too, and have been paired together depending on what gen they’re from. It’s just an awesome pattern and is all over the collections print.

I have always wanted one of the mobile phone ear jack straps from the Pokemon Center, but until now I have never taken the plunge to pick one up. However, I couldn’t resist this cute little Vaporeon (probably my favourite Eeveelution!) This little guy is adorable and is also tiny! That doesn’t bother me though. The way these straps work is you plug it into your phone (or any other device such as 3Ds, or tablet) and it’ll dangle and be a little companion for your phone. BUT you can also use this as a little keyring for your keys, or as a little charm for your bag. I will probably use this on my phone but due to the possibilities this has, I may also pop it onto my car keys. I have a little Levi (from Attack on Titan) keyring on there so he could do with a friend. 😛 I don’t have pictures of it because I only noticed it when I opened the packaging, but you see the card behind the strap? The other side of that has such a cute picture of Vaporeon on it!

Finally we have the purchase I was most excited about! The blind bag t-shirts. These sold out super quickly in the Pokemon Center’s and it took the seller a couple of visits to finally pick one up for me. Due to how rare these are, sellers are charging people through the teeth for these, which is just greedy! I was pretty lucky that I got mine for a decent price! Due to these being blind bagged, you don’t know which one you’ll get. I did have a few in mind that I was hoping to get. Either Eevee, Vaporeon, Flareon, Umbreon, or Sylveon. But this being said, I would have been happy with any! These t-shirts also come in a free size, which in Japan is a size L, probably a M male, L female in the UK. The t-shirt fits me really nicely and I’m so relieved, as I did worry it would be too small.

So I’m sure you’re all curious which one I got?

I GOT FLAREON! I’m really pleased with this for various reasons. Flareon is awesome, and I love wearing the colour red. I say it’s red, it’s more of an orange red, which is still awesome! One thing I noticed about this t-shirt when I tried it on was how it smelt. It smells like green tea matcha powder, which I love! I don’t know if this is intentional and even if it isn’t, it’s still awesome.

I’m so pleased with this t-shirt. It’s made of 100% cotton and the quality of it is amazing for how much they were selling for in Japan. I really want to buy another and depending how much I spend in London, will depend if I pick another up or not.

I’m going to be wearing this for Hyper Japan with my ripped skinny fits. I can’t wait!

So that was my haul from Japan. I want to thank the seller over at Japan Loot for grabbing these awesome items for me, I’m so happy with them and especially happy with how quick they arrived. He’s an awesome seller and I recommend you check his store and YouTube channel out. The links are at the start of the post.

Are you a Pokemon nerd like me? Have you ever wanted anything from the Pokemon Center? If so, make sure to let me know in the comments!

I’ve been so excited to write this post, and I hope my readers will enjoy it too.

Until next time all, take care and see you soon.

2015 Big Wish List

This is going to be a different wish list from normal. I have decided that this year I would like to own some things that I have wanted for years, but never had the money to buy them. It’s not as if I’m going to have the money to buy them this year, but I want this to be the year where I go up in the world somewhat, and even if I just end up owning one of the things on this list, I’d feel a little bit better about making my way up.

There are some expensive things on this list, but that’s why it’s called my big wish list. 😉

  • Vivienne Westwood Tartan Bag.

The first thing I would love to get this year is a new handbag… Well I want a new handbag every other month, but this is different. I’ve always wanted a designer handbag, because if I have to carry something on my arm/shoulder day after day I want something that will get heads turning and make me feel good whilst wearing it too. The one designer handbag I have always been after is a Vivienne Westwood bag, and I still want one! I’ve found this gorgeous one in the sale and I wish I had the money to splurge on it! It’s a gorgeous blue tartan and just looks so professional and grown up, but with a touch of rock chick, definitely what I want! My boyfriend thinks I’m crazy for wanting a bag at so much money, but I don’t care. By the end of 2015, I will have a Vivienne Westwood bag.

  • Frozen Elsa Nendoroid.

For my birthday I received my first Nendoroid figure and I doubt it’ll be my last! I bought my boyfriend his first Nendoroid figure for Christmas and we’ve both decided that we wish to create a collection of the figures together. We’re already looking at some to place on our wish lists and this one is probably at the top of my wish list right now. It was announced before Christmas and won’t be out in the UK until May, which feels like forever but I know will be upon us soon enough. She’s absolutely stunning and even comes with a little Olaf figure, so cute! Whether I get Elsa or another Nendoroid figure, I’m unsure right now but I know I want to add another one or two of these figures to my collection.

  • iPhone 5s OR 6.

My phone contract comes to an end towards the end of the year and I already know I want to upgrade to an iPhone 6! They look and sound amazing… Apart from the whole bending in your pocket thing! I’d go for the gold shade as it just looks so classy and different. My iPhone is playing up at the moment which is annoying and I need to get that sorted as soon as I can. I just can’t believe how quickly the time has gone by and soon enough I can get an upgrade! If I don’t go for the iPhone 6, I’ll definitely go for the iPhone 5s as it looks and sounds just as good.

  • My own place, whether it be a flat or house.

This year me and my boyfriend have set our goal to try and have our own flat/house together by the end of 2015. We’re saving up the best we can and if we don’t have our own place by the end of the year, start of 2016 then so be it and we’ll keep on saving until we have enough money. We’re also trying to decided where we may want to move to, as it’ll either be between Birmingham and Coventry, or maybe even in Coventry as quite frankly apart from my family I don’t really have anything I’m particularly leaving behind in Birmingham. We shall see how it goes.

  • A puppy! Preferably a dachshund!

With our own place, we would eventually get a puppy and whilst I know for sure this won’t happen this year I want it to happen as soon as it can. It’s been seven years since my dog passed away and I finally feel like it’s time to have another one. We’re not 100% sure which breed we’ll be going with yet, but we’re going to make sure to look into all the breeds we’re interested in to see which one will be right for us. I can’t wait quite frankly but I want to make sure as a couple that we’re both stable financially and time wise as puppies need loads of time and care and as they get older they still need care, as they’re like babies. Still, can’t wait!

  • 2 week holiday to Japan.

I know I’ve only just come back from a holiday but I’m already starting to think about another and somewhere I really want to go is Japan. I’ve wanted to go for years and every year I try and save up enough money to go there, but it’s going to take a hell of a lot of savings to go to Japan. Returns flights alone are just over £600, let alone how much a hotel would cost for two weeks and spending money! I’d probably need to save up nearly £3,000! I’m still going to try and save up though and we shall see.

  • A new car! Either a Peugeot 107 or a 108.

This is the year I’m hoping to get myself a new car. I’ve looked into which make I want and it’s another Peugeot, which I drive at the moment. I may as well stick to what I currently drive and plus the two models I have in my mind are gorgeous! Plus they’re purple, which is the colour car I’ve wanted ever since I first passed my test. I’m undecided which car I want the most, or which one I’ll get but it’s a toss between the 107 and the 108. Either way they’re beautiful and man I just can’t wait! My car is great that I own at the moment, it gets me from A to B but it’s old and won’t last long on motorways and long distances, which is annoying as I need to travel far for university, to see my boyfriend, as well as go and see my friends. So I’m hoping to get myself a new car this year, this is the main item on here I’m hoping to gain.

So that’s my little list of things I want to get this year, and although I would love them all this year, one will do me… Maybe two.

What big things are on your wish lists? Let me know in the comments down below.

Until next time, take care all and see you soon.

July Wish List

Another month, another wish list and boy is it scary that it’s now the seventh month of the year. Only five more left and we’ll be Christmas shopping.

After Bristol I’ve decided that I want to go on a shopping ban, but however towards the end of June I bought a few things I didn’t need… MAC lipstick, clothes, you know.

But I have decided from July until I save up the money I wish to save up, I’ll be going on a spending ban, only buying things I REALLY need or know I really want and will use.

So although I am going to be on a spending ban now, it doesn’t hurt to have a wish list of things I would like to one day own, so here they are!

July Wish List

  • ASOS Sweatshirt with Lady and the Tramp Print.

Although this sweatshirt is now sold out, and probably has been for quite a long time I still really want it and it’ll be on my mind until either ASOS bring it back to their website (which I doubt) or I find someone selling it on eBay! It’s a gorgeous sweatshirt with Lady and the Tramp print on it. I have the sweatpants, which I bought in the ASOS sale at the end of June and I love them to bits, so to have the sweatshirt to match with them would be amazing. This was £30 on their website, so I pray in the future that I can pick it up for half the price, if not less on eBay. Zoella is famous for sporting both the sweatpants and the sweatshirts, which is where I discovered it!

  • Black iPhone 5 Case with Silver Spikes – eBay.

I’ve wanted a spiked case for my phone for ages and now I have an iPhone where phone cases of all shapes and sizes are a possibility! These just look awesome and I’ve started to drift away from using my red wrap around phone case when I go out, to changing to using my pug phone case, which I love quite a bit. This case costs less than £5.00 which is a bargain in my eyes! This would look great during the autumn and winter months and will go with the grunge look I like to dress up in.

  • Dr Martens Studded Belt.

I saw this belt in Bristol when my boyfriend bought me my Dr Martens dress (mentioned here and here) and I loved it, but at the £45.00 price tag, I don’t think it’ll be something I’ll be buying in such a hurry. They do have it in a white version for £30.00 in the sale, which I equally have my eye on, but for £15 more I would prefer the black version, as black works with everything. I love studded belts and when my blue studded belt died on me after six years I decided I best buy a new one… But that was nearly a year ago now and I’m still after a new studded belt. I need to wear a belt with my jeans and I’m currently using my army one which I’ve owned since I was thirteen/fourteen and over the ten years I’ve had it, it’s doing me good! I do really want a studded belt though and eventually I can see me picking one up, probably this one. It’s real leather and just looks gorgeous. Can’t go wrong with Dr Martens to be honest!

  • Bumble and Bumble Surf Foam Wash Shampoo.

I mentioned a few days ago over on my June empties post how I’d been given a sample of this shampoo to try out and fell in love with it… And now I want it! It isn’t cheap however at £18.50 for a somewhat small bottle (250ml) but it’s a lovely shampoo and one I’d only use once a week, alongside my Philip Kingsley shampoo. This being said I think I’ll wait a while until I purchase this, as I’m not in any rush to try a new shampoo right now. This was lovely though for giving my hair some extra volume, as well as making it look, smell and feel gorgeous!

  • Urban Outfitters Black Holographic Nail Polish.

I discovered this nail polish in Bristol’s Urban Outfitters store and fell in love with it… But at the £12 price tag I decided to leave it. It’s a little on the pricey side for my liking and I’m pretty sure there are plenty of affordable holographic polishes out there, not to mention that I already have GOSH’s one night holographic nail polish, so it isn’t like I don’t own  one already! I’ll be keeping my eye on this, maybe I’ll have it as a treat in future… I’m unsure right now.

  • MAC Pure Heroine Lipstick from the Lorde Collection.

I’ve wanted this lipstick ever since it was announced earlier this year and right now I am craving to buy it so badly. I just want it, I want it so damn much! It’s a gorgeous dark plum purple shade and its limited edition! It’s only available from MAC’s website to buy and only costs £15.00. I am still in two frames of mind whether or not to pick it up, but I know I won’t because I really am trying to be good and only two weeks ago did I buy myself a new MAC lipstick… It’d be naughty to buy another one. There are so many dupes out of this lipstick that maybe I’ll just buy one of those and see how I get on, we shall see. Damn I want this lipstick so badly though!

  • Yankee Candle Coconut & Pineapple Reed Diffuser from the Coconut Collection.

At the Yankee Candle shop in Bristol I FINALLY got to smell two of the scents from the Coconut Collection that I have wanted to smell for a good year or two now, the Coconut & Vanilla bean scent and the Coconut & Pineapple scent. I’m a sucker for anything that smells like a pina colada and this smells just like it, creamy coconut and zesty pineapple, but no alcohol… Which can be either a good or bad thing, depending on yourself. 😛 I nearly bought the reed diffuser whilst in Bristol but I decided to leave it, as I knew I’d be able to pick this up at any time. This isn’t expensive either at £12.99 and I can really see me picking up soon as sometimes I don’t wish to burn a candle and a reed diffuser can be really good, as well as make a nice change.

So that’s my wish list for this month! What do you want at the moment? Let me know in the comments!

I hope I don’t end up buying any of these, meant to be on a spending ban now. 😛

Until next time take care all and I’ll see you after the weekend!

December (Christmas) Wish List

I can’t believe it’s December again and in 3 weeks time it’ll be Christmas Eve. This year has gone by amazingly quick and I’m sure next year is going to be just the same! So another month, another wish list and what better way to show it to you all than showing you what I’d like for Christmas too. 😛

I’m currently writing (after editing the image together) whilst sitting up in my boyfriends bed, whilst he reads. Oh how very married couple we do sound. It is 3am though mind and whilst he seems sleepy, I’m wide awake, but this being said, I do also feel a bit poorly. Sad times, sad times. 😦

I doubt very much I’ll get anything off of this list as presents (especially one item in particular) but hey it’s a wish list, I can wish away as much as I do so wish, get it, eh? Yeah let’s get on with the post!

December Wish List

  • Eileena Jumper from Animal – £45.00.

I spotted this jumper during an afternoon out with my best friend. I spotted a fox sweatshirt in Animal’s window on a mannequin and ventured inside to see how much it was, that was £45.00 too but in front of that one, was this gorgeous jumper. It’s red with foxes on and as anyone who knows me knows, I LOVE foxes! I’d wear this to death and I’m going to be keeping my eye on it for the next month! If it ends up going into the Christmas sales, I’m buying it ASAP! Probably in a bigger size than I usually am so it has some bag to it. This felt super soft too as well as looking adorable. I need this jumper in my life, I could wear it with so many things! Plus I know it’s quite expensive for a jumper, but it’s definitely worth the money as it looked and felt like amazing quality.

  • Fox iPhone 5 case by Head Case from eBay – £4.95.

As much as I love my rubber Game Boy case and my red flip case (that has already on two occasions protected my screen from breaking) I really want something new and for less than a fiver, this case is adorable. Once again another fox product (I’ll be a crazy fox lady in my old age!) but I don’t care, I love foxes so damn much, it’s an illness I swear! This case is just adorable and one I’d use quite a lot. I would purchase this myself with some Christmas money, apart from my boyfriend, no one I know uses eBay! 😛

  • Black Velvet Lace Collar Playsuit from River Island – £30.00.

This recently sold out on River Island’s website and upon inspecting if River Island had it in any stores near me to buy, I came to find that there are a couple of places where I could order it from, however I don’t know when I’ll be going to said places next, sucks huh? Either way this playsuit is gorgeous and has been on my wish list since I created my last one in October. I’d wear it quite a lot, especially for evenings out and as I only own a couple of playsuits, I don’t think another one would hurt.

  • Adventure Time Lumpy Space Princess Beanie from Forbidden Planet -£13.99.

I spotted this on my shopping trip in Coventry (you can check out that haul here) and fell in love, especially after trying it on. During the start of November I started to watch Adventure Time to see what all the fuss was about and I’m already in love with Lumpy Space Princess, as well as Princess Rainicorn! My boyfriend was the one who spotted this beanie as we were looking at the Adventure Time section and immediately I tried it on. It was soft and felt really snug and comfortable on my head and is definitely something I’d love for Christmas, if I don’t get it, I’ll be purchasing it myself for the colder months that we have yet to go through!

I’d never heard about this candle until recently when a few beauty bloggers and users I follow on Instagram were posting and taking pictures of this candle, North Pole. It’s description says, “What holiday dreams are made of . . . a sweet blend of icy cool mint and sugary rich vanilla cream.” which sounds right up my street and for nearly £20 you get 110-150 hours burn time, that’s a lot of burning! This is making a special appearance on the Yankee Candle UK website, along with some other yummy scents and is only available in the large jar. As of yet I’ve not owned a large jar candle but this could be a first. I could see me buying this before Christmas even comes to be upon us, it just sounds so damn delicious, I need it in my life!

  • Mrs Hedgehog Charm from Pandora – £30.00.

At the start of November I was lucky enough to receive a Pandora bracelet and some charms from my family after they came back from their holiday. It meant a lot that they brought me this back as it was a total surprise and since then I’ve been wearing the bracelet everywhere… Apart from work of course. It feels like my good luck charm and the charms that they got me for it are adorable, but in the next couple of days I’ll be writing a post about what I got back so stay tuned for that! Either way I was intrigued (as you are) at what other charms Pandora do and thus which ones I could add to my bracelet in the future and the first one I saw was this Mrs Hedgehog charm. It reminds me of Mrs. Tiggy-Winkle from the Beatrix Potter stories. She’s always reminded me of my Gran, who regular readers will know sadly passed away in March this year. This is definitely on my Christmas wish list and as my Mom has already mentioned how she would be more than happy to be me a charm for Christmas, as well as my birthday then this is hopefully going to be mine this year. If I’m not bought it, I’ll buy it myself as a birthday present to myself. 😛

  • Pokemon X on Nintendo 3DS from GAME – £31.99.

I love Pokemon, ever since Blue and Red first came out on the Game Boy and since then I’ve been hooked. My favourite game to date is probably Silver as I near completed it before my cartridge broke. I was absolutely devastated! Since then I’ve gone on to own most Pokemon games and I’m showing signs that I’m not stopping there! I already know which Pokemon I want as my starter and which Pokemon I want in my team. I’m a total nerd when it comes to games, but Pokemon just reminds me of my childhood!

  • MUA Luxe Velvet Lip Lacquer in Reckless from muastore.co.uk & Superdrug – £3.00.

I only found out about these recently and when my friend Amy told me about them, I rushed round to every Superdrug store near in hopes of finding Reckless, which is a gorgeous red shade. These have been described as being like Lime Crimes Velvetines but a hell of a lot cheaper! Reckless is the only one I’ll be picking up from the collection as the other shades don’t really appeal all that much to me. The only problem with these is that everyone is snapping them up, thus all Superdrug stores are SOLD OUT. The only place you can seem to get them at the moment is from MUA’s website which if I have to, is where I’ll be picking Reckless up from. It’s just the perfect red shade and will be great for winter, especially Christmas Day and for my birthday.

  • Animal Crossing: New Leaf on Nintendo 3DS from GAME – £27.99.

I’ve owned two Animal Crossing games, the one for GameCube (which I still have btw) and the one for Nintendo DS. I loved that game but as I’ve got older I’ve just not had as much time to play it and to be honest I got a tad bored after a while and losing my amazing neighbours (mostly dogs) made my heart-break a little bit. But either way New Leaf sounds a lot different to the previous versions and if anything, more fun! You get to be the major of your town and run it the way you want to, which sounds quite fun! I’d just sit around and play this all day instead of doing things I need to, which isn’t good of course but sometimes we all just need time to do that, don’t we?

I LOVE Sweet Strawberry and is by far one of my favourite Yankee Candle scents (alongside Christmas Cookie and Red Velvet) and surprisingly enough I’ve not yet bought it in a jar version, only ever as a wax tart or a sampler. But I’ve come to realise that I really want it as a jar now and what better way than to ask for it for Christmas. Sweet Strawberry is described as, “The essence of perfectly ripe strawberries sprinkled with sugar.” which is pretty accurate! The smell of this candle reminds me of a strawberry smelling doll that my Gran bought for me when I was five or six years old. We were on holiday in Devon and I fell in love with the doll, so she bought it for me. I still have it somewhere, I don’t think I’d have the heart to part with it! So it’d be nice to have this candle burning in my room when I just want some happy memories. 🙂

  • Nintendo 2DS in White and Red from GAME – £109.99.

Yes this is a bit of a childish thing to want but it’s what I really want this Christmas! I love my PS3, don’t get me wrong but sometimes I just want something I can take around with me, bring to my boyfriends to play on or if travelling I can take it with me as I can’t read when travelling due to sickness and as much as I love music, I get a bit bored with just listening to that too. I have to add how I thought the 2DS would be more expensive than the 3DS, due to the fact it’s new but it’s actually cheaper! I want the white and red version as I think it looks pretty. A plus side with the 2DS is that you can download all your favourite classic old Game Boy games to play! Definitely need this in my life and if I don’t get it for Christmas I know I’ll be saving up long and hard to purchase one myself! This is number one on my wish list this year and yes it’s something a child would ask for, but the child inside of me is coming out and if I was bought this for Christmas, I’d be a very happy girl. 🙂

So that was my December *cough* Christmas wish list!

What are you hoping to receive this Christmas? Or do you know what you’ll be getting already? Let me know in the comments down below!

Aww I’ve missed writing up posts for my blog throughout November, it’s good to be back!

I hope everyone had a good weekend and that your week has started off well. I’ve got the dentist tomorrow, wish me luck!

Until next time, take care all.
