May Favourites ’22

Another month is due to end and with that we of course have our monthly favourites! I can’t believe it’s June in four days time, the year is just flying by and I’m not liking it… But I am sort of liking it because excited things are coming up at the start of June!

May was a weird month for me, it was full of bank holidays, and annual leave which left me wanting more four day weeks at work. As well as that, last week me and Dane went to see My Chemical Romance and let me tell you it was amazing! I haven’t been to a show that big to date. The atmosphere was great and took me back to when I’ve seen them live twice previously, as well as to how I used to be when I was younger. If it wasn’t obvious enough, I was a little emo kid. πŸ˜› I’m going to save more details for later on in my monthly favourites, because it obviously counts!

Aside from that, June is looking to be an exciting month for me and Dane! We have the UK Games Expo coming up with my best friend and her boyfriend and then me and Dane have a week off together for our nine year anniversary, which in itself has flown by! For our anniversary this year we’ve decided to go to Manchester for a few days, which we’re so excited for! Like MCR, I’ll talk more about it later in my monthly favourites, as whilst it hasn’t happened yet, it’s something I’m excited about, so it classes as a favourite… Right?

Me and Dane also finished our first Dungeons & Dragons campaign too, which lasted for three years! We had so much fun playing it and can’t wait to start a new campaign in June/July.

On top of all that I’m going to be bloody skint this month, with MCR, UK Games Expo, Manchester AND my car needing to be taxed and serviced… It’s a good job I have plenty to keep me busy. πŸ˜›

Content wise for June I’m hoping to bring you some kawaii AF stuff, as well as some future posts about our Manchester adventures, especially geeky places to shop, fun things to do and good places to eat. I hope yah’ll are excited for it!

Anyhoo, on with the monthly favourites! I really hope you enjoy this months post, I feel like it’s going to be full of me being excited about adventures and MCR. πŸ˜›

Favourite Beauty Product – Laneige Lip Sleeping Mask in Berry.

I was planning to write a blog post showing off all the goodies I picked up from YesStyle a couple of months ago, but I decided against it as I thought I’d end up showing off the goodies in monthly favourites posts anyway (which I have!). One of the items I picked up is the Laneige lip sleeping mask in berry, which I have wanted to try for as long as I can remember. It’s recently started to hit the UK beauty stores, so it’s becoming more available to us in the west, however the price for the pot is a bit of a joke… Hence why I turned to YesStyle. From memory I only paid Β£10 for my lip sleeping mask, whereas here in the UK stores will charge Β£19 for it. Anyway, I’ve been using it for almost two months now and it’s definitely safe to say I LOVE it! It has definitely made an improvement to my lips, which is great with summer coming around. I don’t just use this at night like it’s known for, I use it in the morning before I start work (if I’m not wearing a lip tint that is), and I apply it before bedtime too. The mask is said to work best overnight as it “dissolves” all the dead skin on your lips, so you wake up with lovely soft lips. A lot of people claim it does what it says, but others claim it’s just Vaseline in a fancy jar, with some colour added to it. As someone who uses Vaseline on a daily basis, this is thicker than Vaseline and really does feel like it’s moisturising more, but that may just be me? To add a little bit of this stuff goes a long way, and due to that, I’ve not really made much of a dent, which is good! To add here, I picked up the Berry scent and it doesn’t really smell or taste like berries to me… But that doesn’t bother me, it would be a plus but yeah, it’s one of them. I’d say if you’re thinking of trying the Laneige lip sleeping mask, go for it, especially if you suffer with dry lips and live for lip balms! If you buy from YesStyle you could always get some of the little “sample” pots too to see what you think of it before buying a bigger jar.

Favourite Film – Jackass 4.5.

This is a recent addition to Netflix and one I was super excited to see! As many regular readers and friends will know, I’m a MASSIVE Jackass fan. I mentioned last month how I’d watched Jackass Forever and that I didn’t love it as much as the previous films they’d made. Jackass 4.5 really did make up for that, I laughed so much and even had to look away a few times in the fear of feeling (or being) sick! It was amazing, I just enjoyed it so much. The amount of times though that both me and Dane said, “Why didn’t they put that in Forever?” was crazy. I need to buy Jackass Forever and 4.5 at some point to add to my collection. If you have Netflix and love Jackass, definitely make sure to check it out! You find out a lot about the new crew members too, which I really liked. I’d love to see them come back and do more now after watching 4.5

Favourite TV Show – Moon Knight.

I’ve been a mixture of excited and nervous/sad to watch Moon Knight, but me and Dane decided to binge watch it one day over the last bank holiday in May and I can honestly say it’s my favourite Marvel TV series to come out to date! There was so much I loved about it, but the thing that made me sad was the fact it’s one of Gaspard Ulliel’s last acting role before he passed away in January. That being said, the show itself was amazing and I need more! The story of Steven/Mark and their role as the Moon Knight, as well as the dark themes and character build up were just incredible! Everyone did an amazing job and honestly, I loved it. Let me say this without spoilers when I say, Steven must be protected at all costs and he’s now up there as one of my favourite Marvel characters alongside Deadpool.

Favourite Music – My Chemical Romance.

Okay, the part of this months favourites I know some of you have been waiting for! At the time of writing this post I am still struggling with some post gig blues and I don’t really know when they’ll go away? I just crave more after last Thursday’s gig and I wish I could go see them again already! First things first, the show was amazing. Gerard dressed up and the band played a lot of popular songs from all their albums to date, including “Helena”, “Teenagers”, “Welcome to the Black Parade”, “Famous Last Words” and of course “I’m Not Okay”. We got to the gig shortly after doors opened, got some merchandise, drinks and headed to our seats. Our seats were shit as they were high up and all the way at the back, even with the screens you couldn’t see fuck all. This being said, I didn’t let it affect my experience of the gig, I was so in my element singing along to the words, watching the screens, the stage and everyone else around me that I was past caring after a while. I almost cried whilst listening to “The Foundations of Decay” due to how proud I am of the band, as well as how happy I am to see them back, as well as almost crying singing “Famous Last Words” and “Welcome to the Black Parade” as they both mean so much to me. MCR are one of the bands that were always there for me when I was struggling with my mental health growing up and especially the day my gran died. I went home to be on my own to grieve and ended up putting on The Black Parade so I had something to occupy my mind. When the song “Disenchanted” came on, I couldn’t stop crying and since that day, it always makes me sad to hear. Alongside all this the show was just incredible! Everyone was so friendly to talk to (when we did) and the atmosphere was one I’ve missed from previously seeing MCR play in 2007 and 2011. I’m just dying to see them again now… Maybe standing tickets next time for shits and giggles or at least closer seats! I was going to write a blog post about the whole day, but I feel like this is enough. πŸ™‚

The Valheim developers bought a real horse | PC Gamer

Favourite Game – Valheim.

This is a game Dane has been pestering me to play with him for as long as I can remember and finally in May I cracked and bought it, which made him so happy! Valheim is a Viking style game where you need to gather resources, build a base, defeat the enemies nearby and ready yourself to defeat even bigger enemies! We spent a weekend playing it together and I soon got my bearings with how the gameplay worked and was. However, tragedy happened when not only did I lose a lot of my stuff in a tomb (and couldn’t get back!), but then some boars we had captured and bred were all killed by an enemy! We both rage quitted after the latter and didn’t touch it for a week or so… Until one of our friends came to join us one evening to play and since then we’ve been playing it more. She’s really helped us build our base, defeat more/bigger enemies, as well as teach us a lot more about the game as she’s been playing it longer than we have. It’s such a fun little game to play, more so with people than alone and I highly recommend it!

Just a few of my favourite things…

Picking up old games/game completion goal – Pokemon Mystery Dungeon DX and Persona 5 Royal.

I’m pretty sure I’ve mentioned on my blog since the start of 2022 how I have started working on completing games I currently own and making note of them on a Twitter thread here. This is something I was inspired to do by my friend Connor, who took part in it last year. I have a lot of games I’ve bought, played for a few hours and then never picked up again. Some games I could sell, whereas others I can’t as I’ve bought on stores/Steam. I decided to start spending less time sitting online window shopping and more time playing the games I love, but have allowed to gather dust!

The first one I want to talk about is Pokemon Mystery Dungeon DX. This game is a remake of the original Mystery Dungeon games that came out in 2005 on the Game Boy Advance and DS, I still own both of these and loved them to death! The remake DX came out in 2020, just before Animal Crossing: New Horizons so I told myself I would try and complete it before Animal Crossing came out, which didn’t happen. However, what did happen is I got stuck on the second boss (Moltres) and no matter what I did, I just couldn’t get past them, so I ended up resetting the game and starting again. I grinded for ages to make sure I was ready for that boss battle again and last weekend I felt ready to take the boss on! I turned to Dane prior and said, “If I don’t beat this fucking thing, I’m selling the game.” Thankfully it wouldn’t come to that as I beat Moltres, as well as the boss after that too (Articuno), so I look like I’m going to be fine from there! I’m so glad I’ve picked this game up again, it’s making me feel so nostalgic to between 2009-2010 when I picked up both of the original games to play.

Alongside playing Pokemon Mystery Dungeon DX, I’ve also started playing Persona 5 Royal again, which is something I also picked up in March 2020! I hardly played it due to Animal Crossing: New Horizons and only played the first palace and some of the second. I decided to play it over a bank holiday weekend and haven’t looked back since. I genuinely forgot how much I love Persona 5 and the characters behind it, it really means a lot to me as the original game helped me through some dark days. So far I’ve completed the second palace and I’m probably near to beginning the third one from memory. I always recommend Persona 5 to people to play, but these days I often suggest people playing Persona 5 Royal, just because it has more to the story than the original. I’m probably going to focus on completing Pokemon Mystery Dungeon DX first and then on Persona 5 Royal, depends on my mood I guess. Currently my PS4 is in the living room, which I’d love to move temporarily to my desk in our office so I can play it with Dane in the background as company, but we shall see!

June adventures – UK Games Expo and Manchester.

As I mentioned at the start of this post I have lots of exciting things booked in and planned with Dane and some friends at the start of June, which I’m really looking forward to!

First we have UK Games Expo the first weekend of June, which is a board game convention in Birmingham. Me and Dane went in 2019 and spent WAY too much money (which you can read about here), but we had an amazing time and always said we’d go again, but of course Covid happened… That being said we’ve finally plucked up the courage to go again this year. Due to my anxiety of Covid still, I do still wear masks in shops, as well as around the office at work, so I’m not 100% sure if I’ll wear my mask or not at the convention yet… I’m worried it’ll be really warm and I could maybe die from the heat haha! We’ll see how it goes though! There’s going to be some amazing vendors there from years before that I’m excited to purchase from and support again, plus I’m hopeful we can all play lots of board games and have fun! I’m so happy my best friend recently got into board games, because it means we can all venture to cafes and play games more! Me and Dane got into board games before Covid and then Covid happened… And we couldn’t play board games with many people. 😦

Then as I mentioned before, for our nine year anniversary we decided to go to Manchester as we’ve booked to go to Point Blank Shooting with a voucher I was gifted for my 30th. Point Blank Shooting is a simulation shooting range and bar, offering food and drinks whilst you play on the shooting simulation games! We plan to go and have a day of shopping in Manchester and then head to Point Blank Shooting, finishing up at some themed bars on the way to our hotel. The next day we plan to have some breakfast, more shopping, a big lunch and then heading to Bury for The Arcade Club! My friend Daysei is always telling me how much fun it is there and after showing Dane how many floors of arcade games they are, we booked it in to do! I’m honestly so excited for our gaming and shopping days away for our anniversary, it’s going to be so much fun.

I’m hoping to write Manchester guides and reviews of places we go to, so keep eyes peeled for those!

My Chemical Romance merchandise.

I mentioned earlier about how I went to see MCR last Thursday, well of course I had to grab some merchandise as well and man I bagged a few bits, one which has been semi sought after since. I want to state now, none of these are for sale. xD I also want to state, I apologise for how shit the photo is!

I decided to grab both the tour t-shirts, as well as the Boy Zone t-shirt as well. I couldn’t decide which tour t-shirt I wanted as they were both cool in their own ways. I’m so glad I picked up both after trying them on as they’re so comfortable! All of the t-shirts are in a men’s size large and I could have probably gotten away with a medium, but I like my t-shirts baggy!

The tour t-shirts have the tour dates on the back for their shows between 16th May until 18th June which is always a good t-shirt to have. On the front of the short sleeved is an updated version of the bloody bride and groom from the Three Cheers for Sweet Revenge album, which I just had to get for that alone! On the front of the long sleeved there are some skulls and bones, as well as “Decay” written backwards. I LOVE the long sleeved t-shirt the most and already can’t wait to wear it. I’m really into my long sleeved band t-shirts lately to wear with joggers, skirts and trousers for a relaxed look.

Finally the Boy Zone t-shirt that everyone has gone mad for! I knew I had to pick this up and even though I probably won’t wear it out and about, I’ll definitely live in it at home on lazy days. It was designed by Kerin Cunningham with support from Gerard Way. It honestly reminds me of my early teens where I would always buy the music magazines that was full of bands, love quizzes and more. I honestly love it so much!

So, there we have it guys, all of my favourites from May! I honestly can’t believe we’ll be going into June in less than a week now, it’s really flown by. The whole year is, Christmas is just 6 months away now… How crazy is that?!

What were your favourites from May? Did you go and see My Chemical Romance in May too? If you did tell me all about your feelings, thoughts, etc! I’m eager to hear everyone’s stories and experiences. πŸ™‚

Until next time all, take care and have an amazing weekend!

April Favourites ’22

I can’t quite believe it’s the end of another month already! I mean, one more day and…

May Justin Timberlake GIF

Gif taken from Giphy

Sorry, not sorry. πŸ˜› But yes, it’s going to be May tomorrow and I can’t quite believe we are a month away from being halfway through 2022.

Not going to lie, I’m a mixture of excited and nervous for May for a few reasons. It’s going to be nice to have another long bank holiday weekend this weekend, but in a couple of weeks I’ll be going to see My Chemical Romance! Regular readers and friends will know I have been waiting for two years to see them now due to Covid, so I’m glad the time is finally coming up! I printed off my tickets recently so I’m almost ready to go. I’m so excited, but sort of nervous too for many reasons. I haven’t been to a gig since 2017 when I saw cKy, which was a longgg time ago now! I’m also feeling anxious about Covid too. It would suck for both me and Dane to leave the gig with Covid… That being said, it’ll be worth it at this point as I’ve been waiting long enough to go and see MCR! I’m going to try and save up some monies towards merchandise, as I can see me buying a lot of it… Especially t-shirts and hoodies. πŸ˜›

Alongside going to see MCR, I’m also planning to go and visit Emily (link to blog) whilst we’re in Milton Keynes! We did try and meet up before/during the cKy gig but it didn’t happen sadly. I’m so excited to meet her! We’ve been blogging friends for as long as I can remember now (over six years I feel!) so it’ll be lovely to see her, and her furry companions too. Go and check her blog out by the way, I have linked it for you all. πŸ™‚

Alongside that, I don’t know what other plans me and Dane have for May, maybe plan something in for our anniversary in June, as well as planning/seeing friends too? We shall see!

One final thing I want to mention is how excited I am for this months content! I have some cute posts coming up in the next couple of weeks and I cannot wait to share them all with you. I know April was a bit of a quieter month but I was so busy over Easter, I didn’t really get much time for myself, let alone sitting down to write.

For now however, lets get on with this months favourites!

Favourite Beauty Product – Peripera – Ink Mood Drop Tint – Bubble Berry and Berry Vibe.

With my March pay I decided to treat myself to some new lip products from YesStyle. I really love wearing lipstick, but as the years have passed, I’ve worn it less and less. I used to live for my MAC satin lipsticks, then liquid lipsticks and now I’m more about my lip stains/tints and glosses. I’ve always found Korean brands lip tints are the best all rounder for lip products, they hydrate, leave gorgeous colour and are affordable. I’ve tried Peripera in the past and really do rate their products highly, so I decided to order myself a couple of lip tints from their ink mood drop range. Bubble Berry and Berry Vibe are both pink lip tints, one being darker than the other. Bubble Berry is described as, “cool berry pink” and Berry Vibe is described as, “bright berry plum”. Alongside the colours being gorgeous and wearable for any occasion, the product itself isn’t sticky, easy to apply and lasts for hours! It’s perfect and I’m so glad to finally have some pink lip tints in my collection.

Favourite Film – Jackass Forever.

As a massive Jackass fan, I have a lot to say about the latest movie. First of all, I have been a fan since I was ten years old in 2000. I adore all the TV show and the movies and if anything they got me through my dissertation for my BA studies at university, as well as some darker times. I’m also a fan of the cKy movies and Viva La Bam. With this being said, Ryan Dunn and Bam Margera not being part of the fourth movie broke my heart a little and I knew from the start that it wouldn’t feel like Jackass to me when I watched it. I finally saw the fourth instalment in April and I didn’t hate it, but I didn’t love it. There were stunts that had clearly been done before by others and in my opinion, there were clearly stunts that had been written by Bam (I don’t know if anyone else thought this too?). The new cast were great, I have to say, they appeared to be up for anything (and judging by some of their tattoos, had been Jackass fans from a young age like me) and I feel like stunts they did now, were stunts that the Jackass crew back in the day wouldn’t have done. If you don’t know, this is Johnny Knoxville’s last Jackass film… Or so he says, so for his final film I just felt like it was lacking so much and that in itself made me sad. I’m intrigued to see if they do another TV show for the new cast, or another film. I feel like the films should have been left at three, after watching this one. Again, as I said, I didn’t love or hate it, but sadly I think Jackass should be done now, or at least just leave the new cast to do their own thing and retire the old? I don’t know. Let me know what you think! Please excuse the word vomit here by the way, I have so many thoughts about it haha.

Favourite TV Show/Anime – SPY x FAMILY.

With new season anime, comes a new anime show to share with you all! SPY x FAMILY is new for this season and is one me and Dane have been watching for the past couple of weeks since it began. I know this was a manga first of all and one quite a few people I know read and love. I wasn’t massively fussed about watching the anime when it was announced, but seeing as Dane put it on, I thought, “Why not!” and now I really enjoy it! As the name suggests, it’s about a spy family, but with a twist. I don’t want to say too much in case of spoilers, but Twilight, a spy, has to create a family in order to complete one of his missions. The girl he adopts has telepathy and the woman he marries is an assassin. Due to her telepathy the girl knows what her adoptive parents true lives are, but the parents don’t know each others. So far it’s a mixture of funny and keeps you on the edge of your seat. I adore all of the characters so far and Anya (the girl) reminds me of a diclonius from Elfen Lied due to her pink hair and the strange black hair bun covers she wears (which remind of the diclonius horns). I definitely recommend you checking it out and personally, I much prefer the sub to dub, it just works better.

Favourite Music – Saliva – Back Into Your System.

Over the Easter bank holiday me and Dane decided to deep clean our kitchen. It had been long overdue and with family coming over for Dane’s birthday and Easter, we decided to finally do it. During our time cleaning, we decided to put on nu metal from the early noughties, which is a genre of rock music that we both love. At one point Saliva came on and it reminded me of their third album Back Into Your System that I LOVED back in the day and listened to religiously. I remember exactly how I discovered it, through looking for clips fromΒ Elfen Lied the song “Weight Of The World” plays against the top of it, which I fell in love instantly. It’s still one of my favourite songs and I’ve honestly missed listening to this album.

Raft (video game) - Wikipedia

Image taken from Wikipedia

Favourite Game – Raft.

This is a game Dane bought for me a while ago so we could play together. Before and during Easter we played it quite a bit, as it’s a really nice, relaxing game to sit and play after a busy day of work. We’ve recently stopped playing it as much as we’ve found it’s getting a little repetitive, but I’m pretty sure we’ll pick it up again some day. The premise of the game is you need to survive and built your raft up. You do occasionally float by islands, which you can stop at to gather more resources, you pretty much live on your raft though. We didn’t realise at first, but there is a story to this game! Our understanding of this is that you play as siblings who need to find their family through radio messages and more. I don’t think we’ve done a lot with the story yet, the idea of the surviving is fun to us! I highly recommend this, but more so if you can play with friends, as it’s just a bunch easier!

Just a few of my favourite things…

Loungefly Cinnamoroll backpack.

To give you all a sneak peak of one of the posts coming up in May on my blog, I wanted to briefly share my latest Loungefly addition, and boy, do I love it! Easter I decided to finally pick up the Cinnamoroll Loungefly backpack, after debating it for months. I’ve been using it since it arrived last weekend and I really love it. It’s comfortable to wear, cute and fits everything quite nicely. It does kind of feel on the small side, but that’s probably because I carry around too much stuff. I think my only worry with this bag is the obvious one, it’s white, so I worry it’ll be stained and dirty easily. That being said, life is too short for regret. I wanted this bag for a while and now I finally have it, I’m going to use it! I snagged it for a bargain of Β£45 from Pop Figures. They’re Midlands based so this arrived in a couple of days after ordering. I’ll be talking about this bag on a blog post in the next couple of weeks!

Mini Egg nails.

As we all know, Easter was a couple of weeks ago and just before it I was due a new set of gel nails. I decided to go for Mini Egg inspired nails, as not only are they my favourite chocolate, but since 2019 (when I started getting gel manicures) I’ve always wanted to do these nails. So, FINALLY I’ve been able to do it! They’re getting redone this weekend and I’m feeling an emo theme, ready for when I go to see My Chemical Romance. I’m actually really sad to see these go, but I can always get them done again soon. πŸ˜€

Animal Crossing Timmy & Tommy amiibo.

On Dane’s birthday we decided to go out and do some geeky shopping and I FINALLY snagged the Timmy & Tommy amiibo figure I was after! This wasn’t cheap at Β£18, but a lot of places sell it for Β£20 and up, so I can’t complain too much. Plus Dane bought it for me as he knew how much I’ve wanted it. It’s such a cute figure and in amazing condition. I gave it a good clean when I came home and it’s now in place with all the other Animal Crossing amiibo figures. Now I only have Kicks left to get and potentially Smash Bros Isabelle. The shop I picked it up from is an independent vintage game shop in Birmingham called Vintage Gamer. If you’re in Birmingham like me, or fancy a day trip, I HIGHLY recommend! There’s so many vintage games and consoles, you could spend hours there. Plus the staff are really lovely to chat to, which is always good.

Pokemon Vulpix Flocked POP! vinyl.

This is a new addition to my very small POP! vinyl collection, but one I just couldn’t resist when I saw people talking about it on Instagram. I do love some of the Pokemon POP! vinyl figures as they look adorable, and Vulpix is always one I’ve had on my list to get as and when, so when I saw Smyths had the flocked version, I pre ordered and collected it later that day! It’s still sat in the box, as I’m unsure if I ever want to worry the flocking on it gets dusty/dirty and ruined! It’s such a cute little figure and I’m so glad I picked it up now. πŸ™‚

Lazy Oaf Rainbow Sally t-shirt dress.

Finally I want to share with you one of my recent finds on Vinted! The image isn’t mine, but it is from the listing I bought the dress off of, so it’s fine. πŸ˜› I haven’t yet taken a photo of the dress, nor worn it as I’ve been so busy, but I’m sure I’ll wear soon and post all about it! Anyway, this Lazy Oaf rainbow sally dress has been on my Lazy Oaf grail list for as long as I can remember. Every time I’ve found this dress for sale on second hand websites it would go for silly prices well over Β£60, and I just don’t have time for spending money that much on pre loved items, no matter what brand. So, when I saw this pop up on Vinted in my size for Β£25, I knew I had to snap it up! A couple of days later it arrived, was washed and is now waiting in my wardrobe to be worn! I’m so excited to wear it, it’s so comfy to wear and with some tights, and maybe my heart buckle belt, I’ll look adorable and ready for the summer!!!

So, there we have it guys, my favourites from April! I honestly can’t believe we’re already into May tomorrow, this month has flown and it’s been quiet nice to say the least, which I’m thankful for.

As we’re in another bank holiday weekend this weekend, what are you plans for it? Plus, what items are in your favourites list this month? Make sure to let me know in the comments.

Until next time, take care and have a lovely weekend.

July Favourites ’21

I feel like I always say stuff like this when it comes to my monthly posts, but seriously… How is it August already?! This year has really flown by, so much so I didn’t realise my boiler was due a service because it only felt like yesterday that it had had one! xD

This month feels like it’s been… Strange? My mental health hasn’t been very good to be perfectly honest but at the same time it actually improved due to dog sitting my best friends dog Eddie. I’ll be talking more about him later… πŸ˜‰

I’m hopeful for August being a better month. I have lots of fun things planned with friends and I can’t wait to go on some mini adventures with some of them too.

Beauty.

  • Dr. Bronner’s Pure-Castile Soap in Peppermint.

This is an all purpose soap that my mom recently gave to me in lavender form. She’d treated herself to some of the scents but had found she had too many. As I wasn’t using it due to having a lot of my on stuff to use, I gave it back to my mom. When I did however, she offered me another scent that she hardly had any of, the peppermint one. This came at a good time with the heat wave we experienced in the UK. This is a multi purpose soap that can be used as a body wash, shaving and even for cleaning around the home! I’m yet to try it for shaving, but so far both me and Dane have used it on the body. As this is peppermint it leaves a lovely cool feeling behind after rinsing off of the skin, which felt amazing during the heat wave! I don’t know if I would go out of my way to buy this soap as I feel for less money I could pick up the Original Source mint shower gel for a lot less money.

Favourite Film – All the Jackass movies!

As some of you may know I am a MASSIVE Jackass fan and earlier last week the trailer for Jackass Forever came out, so I was kind of an excited fan girl… πŸ˜› I was so excited that I decided to binge watch ALL five JackassΒ films, including Jackass 2.5 and Jackass 3.5. I forgot about some of the scenes from the films so it’s always a delight to be reminded of some of them. I can’t tell you guys how many times I’ve watched theΒ JackassΒ series as well as the films now. Whilst studying my undergraduate degree I remember watching everything over and over again as it helped me whilst I worked on my dissertation. To add here, whilst I’m really excited forΒ Jackass ForeverΒ I’m not excited about a few things. 1. The fact Bam Margera and Ryan Dunn won’t be there (who are both my favouriteΒ JackassΒ guys) and 2. This is actually going to be Johnny Knoxville’s lastΒ JackassΒ film… Gutted! It’s obviously the end of an era in a way and the young 11/12 year old Nat probably didn’t even realise how much this show would change her life. I’ll be writing a post all about Jackass towards the fourth film, which comes to cinemas on 22nd October!

Favourite TV Show – Beastars season two.

Me and Dane literally binge watched season 2 ofΒ BeastarsΒ as soon as it came out on Netflix. We watched the first season last year and really enjoyed it! As I haven’t read the manga, I didn’t expect there to be another season coming out, so when it was announced a while ago I was surprised! This being said, I was intrigued as to what would happen in season two and other questions about Legoshi (wolf) and Haru (rabbit). For those of you who may not know,Β Beastars is about anthropomorphic animals where carnivores and herbivores are divided. We follow Legoshi during his time as a student where we see how this divide is affecting students, as well as adults outside of the school/college/university. I definitely recommend watching! You can watch it on Netflix, subbed and dubbed.

Favourite Music – Girl Talk – All Day.

All DayΒ is an album my ex actually told me about over 10 years ago and I still listen to it to this day. It’s a mash up album with all sorts of genres mashed up to make one amazing piece of work. I love listening to this when I have stuff to do, whether it be doing paperwork, blog work or cleaning around the house, it’s the perfect album to put on and listen to. I especially love listening to it whilst driving. There are 372 songs used on this album. Honestly go and give it a listen if you’ve never heard of it before… I don’t think you’ll regret it. πŸ˜‰

Favourite Game – The Greatest Penguin Heist of All Time.

This is a game that Dane introduced me to about three weeks ago now! It’s an early access game on Steam and it is fucking hilarious! If you can’t gather what it’s about from the title then… πŸ˜› Obviously you play as a penguin and you’re off on a heist, the greatest of all time! This game can be played alone or in a group of four through private parties and it’s one that me and Dane have been really loving playing together, especially on streams. You play various different levels and each time you are set tasks to complete. You complete the tasks successfully, you make big penguin bucks which can be used to buy new areas to play, as well as weapons, clothing and more! As this is an early access game there are bugs and items still in development but this doesn’t bother us too much as it’s still crazy and fun to play. πŸ™‚ If you fancy watching us play it on stream make sure to drop us a follow so you can watch us play games! We stream this game every Wednesday between 7pm-9pm. Dane’s Twitch and my Twitch.

Just a few of my favourite things…

New Black Milk Clothing pieces.

Okay so I found some Black Milk Clothing bargains online in July, but I also picked up the Snorlax Snoozing Snuggle Suit when it was re-released! It originally came out in the second Pokemon collection. I’d been nagging BMC via Twitter for ages to bring it back and it would seem myself and others would get their wishes (and nagging!) come true. I’ve owned it for a month now and I’ve worn it loads when the weather was cool enough to. It’s really comfortable and I feel adorable as fuck in it too! If there’s one thing I realised this year, it’s just how much I love BMC’s snuggle suits and how I need more. πŸ˜›

As I mentioned, I did pick up some bargains, two in fact! The Snorlax Apples Apron Dress originally came out in the second Pokemon collection and I snagged for Β£10 less than what BMC are selling it for! Although I’m yet to wear it out and about, I have zero regrets about buying it! It’s a gorgeous apron piece that I’ve teamed up with a strawberry t-shirt from TU Sainsburys. Apron pieces are some I’ve always been unsure of due to the length, but with leggings or a pair of tights with shorts on top, I’m sure it’ll be fine! I’m planning to wear this outfit soon, maybe on a day trip with a friend or for a picnic date with Dane! It’s the perfect outfit for spring and summer!

The second bargain I picked up is the Mew Sheer Midaxi Dress which came out in the first Pokemon collection. This is a piece I’d always lusted after but… Couldn’t justify the monies. I’d bought the Gastly Evolution Handkerchief Dress and felt that was enough for me. However, months later BMC put the Mew dress into the sale and I started to think more about ordering it. I put it off and just as I went to, it had sold out… I was gutted and it was clearly never meant to be. However, one morning whilst scrolling through the internet I found someone was selling the Mew dress on Vinted for a decent price! It was a size M, so a size down from what I usually buy and after some chat with the seller I placed an order. It arrived a few days later and fits perfectly! I’m so happy I bought it and I’m waiting for the right time to wear it… But with the way the weather is now in the UK I may need to wait a while. xD

Lucky art commission from Claire Likes To Doodle.

About a year ago now my amazing friend Claire/Claire Likes To Doodle would stream whilst doing art over on Twitch channel and as she would stream during the day I would join to watch during work for company. I saved enough channel points so I could ask Claire to draw something quick for me! I asked for Lucky from Animal Crossing and she smashed it! Recently I asked her if she still had that initial quick sketch she did for me and she did! I paid for her to finish it for me and paint him. I met Claire for coffee last weekend and was presented with this gorgeous piece. I love how Lucky has a cute little butterfly on his nose, as well as the bees around the flowers too! I’m currently catching loads of bees onΒ Animal CrossingΒ so I can make lots of bee models for my hive!

If you’re interested in getting a commission from Claire yourself make sure to check out her Instagram page and drop her a DM. πŸ™‚

New clothing in general… πŸ˜›

I seem to have acquired some new clothing pieces over the last week of July and I have my reasons for this! xD I’d seen the Disturbia Strange Oversized Skater Dress making it’s way around social media for a while and after a lot of thought, I decided to pick one up! I’d seen and heard in a lot of posts and reviews of this dress that the sizing of it was incredibly generous and as my size(s) had sold out, I had to go for a size I haven’t been able to fit into for a VERY long time. Alas a few days passed and the dress arrived. I was so anxious to try it on in case it didn’t fit, but alas it did and it was still very oversized. This being said I don’t mind it, it feels really comfortable and with a belt around (as shown in the image above) you wouldn’t even know how oversized it is! I’m planning to wear this over the weekend.

This sweater literally arrived a few days ago and as you can see it’s a Space Jam Lola Bunny sweater from George Asda. To be able to order an item I’d wanted for AGES I had to order something else, so I decided to get this sweater. It claimed to be oversized and it had Lola Bunny on it so… Win win really! πŸ˜› I used to love Lola Bunny growing up, so much so my dad bought me a keyring/chain with her on. I loved it! I remember being so hyped for a female bunny character andΒ Space JamΒ but when it came down to watching the film, I was left feeling disappointed and a bit freaked out by the aliens. xD I plan on watching it again soon.

Dog sitting a cutie pie! ***WARNING IMAGE HEAVY***

Finally I’m here to show off this little cutie pie, Eddie, my best friend and her husbands dog! He’s a Shih Tzu Yorkshire Terrier cross, or a Shorkie for short. Me and Dane love him to death so when our friends were talking about where they could put him (aka a kennel/dog boarding) whilst they go on holiday we offered to look after him! We had him for a week and we loved every minute of it. I wanted to share with you guys some of the memorable and funny moments we had with Eddie during his week holiday at ours! We’ll be looking after him again in August and hopefully September which we’re really looking forward to!

This is our living room and for some reason a couple of days into his stay with us he got obsessed by our living room light. As you can see it’s mirrored and he kept staring at it one day after Dane had come home from visiting his family. Eddie was going crazy after a while, in the sense he was trying to get up to the light, whether it was via my airer or the dining table! We don’t 100% know why but we can only assume he saw himself in the mirror and thought it was another dog. We ended up wrapping the light with kitchen roll in the hopes he would forget about it, he didn’t. πŸ˜›

On his way home one day from work Dane brought Eddie a puppuccino from Starbucks. It’s basically just a cup of cream but damn did Starbucks give Dane a big cup! Eddie really enjoyed it but he kept wandering off thinking he was finished, when he wasn’t! We might treat him to one in August/September if we get time to. πŸ™‚

Most of the time Eddie would nap, especially during the work day when I was busy and in the evening when me and Dane were chilling or streaming on Twitch. This was taken the day he went back home after his mini holiday with me and Dane. This was typical of Eddie to have a nap next to me on the sofa, or underneath my desk. Look at his cute little face!

The weather was mostly lovely whilst Eddie was staying with us and one afternoon whenever I let him out for a wee or was sorting my washing, he would sit on our decking (I know it’s seen better days…) and look out at the garden and take in all the smells! It was really nice to sit with him and relax, especially if I wasn’t having a very good mental health day. Taking this photo of Eddie has really added to me want to get a dog to sit and have chill moments with… As well as other reasons of course!

Finally my favourite part of having Eddie stay with us for the week was all the doggy cuddles we got to have… More so me than Dane as Eddie really did get attached to me. Every morning Eddie would come and sit on my lap during my morning meetings and then later on come for snuggles and cuddles on the sofa during lunchtime and then on the bed before me and Dane would sleep. These two photos of him are my favourites as he’s given me those perfect puppy dog eyes for fuss. I mean, who can say no to that face?

I know I said finally before, but the day after Eddie went home, I went to my besties for a hot tub party! Typical Eddie came for snuggles with me… πŸ˜› I didn’t mind of course. πŸ˜›

So there we have it guys, those are my favourites from July, with Eddie being number one of course!

What were your favourites from July guys? Make sure to let me know in the comments.

Until next time all, I hope you’re having a great weekend and I hope August is a good and sunny month for us all. πŸ™‚

June Favourites β€˜21

Well, as regular readers will have noticed, this months favourites is late… I’m not sorry. πŸ˜›

I’ve been so busy lately that this is the only chance I’m getting to write my favourites for June, it’s rubbish but we can’t help how busy and crazy life can be sometimes.

But I’m here and I’m raring to go for today’s blog post about my favourites from June! I already can’t believe we’re nearly a week into July!

Beauty.

  • Carmex Lip Balm in Cherry and Sugar Plum.

This is an old favourite I’ve been reminded of recently when searching for a new lip balm to use. Carmex is a lip balm I used to use LOADS when I was working in my last retail job, as well as previous admin role. I didn’t realise I had some spare pots lying around in my beauty drawers so when I found these, I decided to give them a go. They don’t only smell amazing, but they feel great on and leave your lips baby soft! They also contain menthol so they leave a tingly cooling sensation on the lips, whichΒ mightΒ plump them a little too. The cherry one is still around, but the sugar plum version was limited edition MANY years ago (around 2017?) and I never ended up using it until recently! I much prefer Carmex to Vaseline so when these are used up, I’ll be buying Carmex more often!

So… Now it’s time to talk about the miscellaneous favourites of the month! If there isn’t anything I’ve done I’m not going to mention.

Favourite Film – The Talented Mr. Ripley.

This is a film I watched at the end of June after seeing it on Netflix. I’ve never watched it but both me and Dane had watched a preview from the film and I added it to my list. I ended up watching it on my own whilst I did some work and I really love it! It’s about Tom Ripley, asked to go and find a mans soon, who he befriends. It isn’t all plain sailing though and shit hits the fan. I definitely recommend giving it a watch if you never have! Fun fact, Matt Damon claims this is his favourite film he’s been in to date.

Watch Viva La Bam - Season 1 | Prime Video

Favourite TV Show – Viva La Bam.

I don’t know why but towards the end of June I got the itch to binge watch season 1-5 ofΒ Viva La Bam.Β If you’ve never heard of it (although I’ll be shocked if anyone hasn’t…) it’s basically a spin off of Jackass in a way where Bam Margera terrorises his parents alongside with his friends. Basically cKy films, but a show! It’s clearly all scripted but this is a show I loved as a teenager. When I would skip school (yes… I skipped school!) I would stay at home and put MTV on during the day and watch random shows, includingΒ Viva La Bam. I also used to binge watch this and Jackass when I was working on my dissertation during my university days! When I was old enough to I saved up my pocket money/money I earnt through odd jobs and bought all of the box sets as and when they came out. Years later I still love this show and scripted or not, it still brings back a lot of memories. My favourite episode is season 1 episode 8, Scavenger Hunt.

Favourite Music – Random game music I use on Twitch!

I love having cute music play before my stream starts and I usually try to limit it to a couple of songs to get people hyped for the stream! Above are just three of my favourites that really do get me into a dancing mood before streams! Especially Monday and Friday streams where I bring my Cookie amigurumi (you can read about her here!) to hang out! πŸ˜›

Favourite Game – Doki Doki Literature Club Plus!

This is a new game purchase I made towards the end of June! Doki Doki Literature ClubΒ isn’t exactly a new game, but it was announced during E3 that Doki Doki Literature Club Plus! was due to come out at the end of June with loads of DLC and updates! Dane was shocked that I’d never heard of the game and encouraged me to get it when the time was right. So, I pre-ordered on my Switch and I’ve played it a few times since. It looks like a cute dating game, but it’s actually a psychological horror game! I’ve not yet reached the horror parts of the game, but after researching what I was expecting, it’s pretty fucking horrific! This game is NOT advised to be played by children, or people who could be mentally affected easily and the latter is why I why I searched to see what happens. I didn’t want to worry I bought it, played and it affected my mental health. I don’t think it will… This is a game I thought about streaming on Twitch, as a few people had asked me to as well. However, this isn’t going to be happening due to the disturbing themes. It isn’t worth it.

Quite a few of my favourite things…

Becoming a Twitch Affiliate!

As many as you guys may have seen from previous posts on my Twitter and Instagram, as well as potentially on my monthly posts in June… I finally made affiliate on Twitch! It was a proud moment for me and I as so fucking happy. It had been something I’d planned to get to by the end of May, so the fact I hit that target on 1st June was typical. πŸ˜›

Since then I feel my Twitch has continued to improve and I’m still enjoying streamingΒ Animal CrossingΒ and more! I also have a camera set up now, so you guys can watch me play games and chat away, which is always good! If you haven’t come to check out my stream yet, please pop by, it would be amazing to see you. πŸ™‚

Finally wearing my Black Milk Clothing Butterfree dress!

I bought my BMC Butterfree dress back in September 2020 and finally for a meal and drinks out with my best friend and her bridesmaids, I got to wear it! It’s so bloody comfortable, flattering and made me feel so pretty and confident. I haven’t had the chance to wear it again since, but honestly I can’t wait! I’ll be wearing it at some point in the future when me and Dane go somewhere for a day out, as well as if we decide to go on holiday anywhere in the UK this year too. If you want to find out more about the dress, you can read all about it here.

My best friend got married!

Almost a month ago now, my best friend got married! It was such a beautiful day and many tears were shed due to that. I had an amazing time and was so happy to be a huge part of it with being her maid of honour really was an honour! Not going to lie though, I was so tired by the late afternoon and evening and I couldn’t wait to sleep. πŸ˜› It’s just amazing how quick the time has flown already since the day and I’m so proud of my best friend! πŸ™‚

I would have posted a photo from the day but I feel it isn’t my place, so you guys can have the one of me holding the flowers my best friend and her husband gave to me. πŸ™‚

Gorgeous flowers.

In June my mom came over to help me with my garden and gifted me this amazing hanging basket she’d done up, as well as some flowers in one of my flower beds. Our garden is looking so beautiful and colourful and I’m so thankful for her help! I love how pretty my garden now looks and I cannot wait to do more in the future with it now. πŸ™‚

I bought myself a new car…

So… I bought myself a new car! It was a very random and spontaneous thing but I’d been thinking of getting something new since I came back from Japan in January 2020. Due to COVID it didn’t happen and lockdown and working from home that also put me off as I wasn’t needing to drive anywhere. Finally I decided to bite the bullet and get something new! Originally I was going to buy a two year old car, but it didn’t feel like it was very… Me? So I settled on my gorgeous blue Citroen C3 and I love it! I’m hoping to do a post about it in the future, but I don’t know if/when that will be sadly.

So there we have it guys! My favourites from June! June was a good month, but I constantly felt hectic and busy so July will be nice to just try and relax a bit. πŸ™‚

What were your favourite things about June? Make sure to let me know in the comments!

Until next time guys, I hope you’re having an amazing week and take care.

May Favourites ’20

It’s safe to say that May was weird and really shitty… For me at least anyway!

As many of you may or may not have noticed, I was quiet on my blog this past month and the reason for that being that I just didn’t feel up to writing any content… Which makes me feel incredibly sad. I wanted to write, but I just didn’t have the mental energy to. Most evenings after work I found myself crawling into bed (yes, even during the hotter days) with my laptop and Switch Lite and did nothing constructive. I binged TV shows, played Animal Crossing and that was about it.

I’m not meaning to start off this months favourites with a sop story but I just want to be honest as to why my blog was so quiet this month. I’m hoping that June will be better and I can continue to bring you all the geeky, kawaii content that I know you all love!

Aside from May being rubbish, May was also a month that seemed to fly by and I discovered some new things, as well as remembering and enjoying some old.

  • Molton Brown Fiery Pink Pepper Bath & Shower Gel.

I recently discovered that I had a bottle of this in my bathroom cupboard and was delighted! In May we had some water damage from our bathroom to the kitchen and I was and still am gutted. So, this has been lovely to rediscover and use every other day in the shower. The scent left behind on the skin is strong and lingers around for ages after you get out of the shower, which I don’t often get after I’ve had a shower. I know Molton Brown isn’t cheap, so I don’t know when I’ll ever buy a bottle of their bath & shower gel again. I think IΒ mightΒ treat myself in the future, but it’ll depend. I highly recommend though if you love your showers and want a real treat!

  • Nails Inc Ocean Ever After Nail Polish.

I have been blown away by this nail polish the last couple of weeks of May! It has lasted over a week without chipping and I am so pleased. I really miss having my nails painted with gel and I honestly can’t wait for my nail tech to be open again so I can go and get pampered. Whilst I wait for my nail tech to open her salon, I’ve been painting my nails again, which honestly I have somewhat missed. As I write this post I’m still wearing this gorgeous blue/green shade is still intact and I love it so much. It’s the perfect shade for summer due to the mermaid effect and whilst I’m not getting comments on it due to isolation, I know when I’ve worn this in the past, people have always commented. This was part of a duo set, which I have a feeling Nails Inc don’t sell anymore. 😦

  • Nivea Blueberry Blush Lip Butter.

This is another product I recently rediscovered as I needed another lip balm. I used to use this one loads during a period when the corners of my mouth were prone to infections (I know that’s gross, but it’s true!), and for some reason I discontinued use. I think this was down to Vaseline working better at the time alongside the steroid cream I was given. However, it’s back out and being used daily and it is amazing! First of all, I love blueberry scented (and flavoured) things and this smells so fruity and yummy. This really is a lip butter, it’s thick and a little goes a long way. It feels really nice on the lips when applied and like it’s actually moisturising. I especially love to use this before bed, so I can wake up with soft lips in the morning. Although it’s pink in the tin, it doesn’t tint or change the colour of your lips, which is great too. I definitely recommend this.

  • Sally Hansen Instant Cuticle Remover.

As I mentioned previously above, due to COVID I’m not able to go and get my nails done by my nail tech, so I’m doing them myself at home. I decided to buy myself a cuticle remover from Amazon so I could do my nails properly. I hadn’t touched my cuticles over a month and they were pretty bad. I couldn’t wait for this remover to arrive, as well as the cuticle remover tools I’d ordered too. This works amazing and it only takes 15 seconds for it to work it’s magic as well. A little goes a long way and it doesn’t hurt or sting when applied. I even did Dane’s nails with it too to see what it could do. The results were amazing. I use this once a week when I paint my nails, I don’t know if that’s too much or not, but it’s what I’m doing. πŸ™‚

  • The Body Shop Peppermint Cooling Foot Spray.

With us in the UK being graced with warm weather at the moment, both me and Dane have been using this cooling foot spray at the moment. It’s so refreshing to use throughout the day whilst we’re at home, especially when you’re feeling really warm! They always say if you’re feeling either hot or cold, you need to cool/warm your feet up for your whole body to cool/warm up. This definitely applies to me, so when I’ve been really warm in the day, I’ve sprayed some of this on both the tops and bottoms of my feet, let it dry and then gone about my day. It’s so quick drying and due to the size of the bottle it’s handy to take out and about with you if need be. I always forget how much I love this foot spray!

So now my beauty favourites are done, time to talk about the miscellaneous favourites of the month!

Favourite TV Show – Jackass.

I’ve been binge watching a lot of shows this month, especially as I needed to cheer myself up after a few crappy things happening. I haven’t bingedΒ JackassΒ for a while now, so I decided now was a good time to do so. So far I’ve only watched season 1 and 2 of the show but I always forget how much I love it, certain scenes and how much I miss Ryan Dunn (who died almost 10 years ago). The guys are currently working on Jackass 4, which I am so excited for. I am wondering what will happen however, as this will be the first film without Ryan Dunn. Nonetheless, I am still really excited and will continue to binge watch the rest of the show, as well as the movies.

Favourite Movie – Unbroken.

This is a film that Dane popped on one evening for us to watch and I ended up finishing watching it on my own (as he had things to do). This film is amazing and I loved every moment of it. It’s directed by Angelina Jolie and is all about an American man fighting in the Second World War. He is captured by the Japanese and sent off to various prisoner of war camps. It’s all based on a true story and it’s a really emotional watch. It’s on Netflix and I can’t recommend it enough to watch. I might watch it again soon in the future, as I loved it that much.

Favourite Book – Skinema.

Yes. I actually read a book! Well, part of a book anyway. I read and I haven’t done that for months… If not years at this point. This book was actually kindly bought for me from Estelle (go check out her blog over at Estellosaurus!) after sharing my Amazon wish list (which I’ll link here). I was so happy when it arrived as I have wanted this book for years! I actually bought it from Amazon before Christmas but it got lost in the post so I had to get a refund. I even tweeted Chris Nieratko telling him I’d ordered the book and he replied! Told me it’s probably going to be shit so to be prepared. So far, I love it and it was a mixture of what I did and didn’t expect it to be. I highly recommend reading if you’re a fan ofΒ Jackass, as well as have a dark sense of humour and open to anything.

Favourite Songs – Bush – “The Sound of Winter” and Institute – “When Animals Attack”.

I’ve been binge listening to Radio Bam since lock down began over two months ago and I’ve now finished it. Two of the songs I discovered years ago through the episodes and now love are my two favourite songs this month. They’re both bands fronted by Gavin Rossdale by the way. Out of the two I love “The Sound of Winter” the most as it has such a great sound behind it. These are just songs I’ve found myself listening to almost everyday whilst working and doing things in my own time (such as writing and playing Animal Crossing). Go and give them a listen if you like rock music and haven’t heard them before. πŸ˜€

Favourite Game – StillΒ Animal Crossing: New Horizons.

Is it really odd for Animal Crossing to be here again this month? I’ve not played anything else in all honesty and I think it’s obvious why. This game is going to be on my monthly favourites for quite some time now due to how excited I still am to play it. For the whole of June there will be a new event coming called Wedding Season Event, which I am really excited for! We haven’t yet seen Reese and Cyrus yet in New Horizons so I’m excited to see them both soon! It is getting to a point at the moment with Animal Crossing where I would like some more events to come, as well as the introduction to some old and very loved characters. I’m really missing The Roost and Brewster right now, so I hope we hear about it from Nintendo soon. πŸ™‚

So there are all my favourites from May! I can’t believe we’re already in June. June is always a momentous month for me. It’s the month we got the keys to our house, but most of all it’s mine and Dane’s anniversary. We’ve been in our house for 4 years and together for 7 years. All that time has really flew by and I can’t quite believe it to be honest with you. I’m also excited for June to come along as May was shit. June will hopefully be the month we get things done and sorted… Which I may talk about more in the future. πŸ˜€

So, what were your favourites from May? Are you going to check out any of the things I mentioned in mine? Let me know in the comments! πŸ˜€

Until next time, take care and stay safe. πŸ™‚

5 TV Shows I Can Watch Over And Over Again

This is a random idea I came up with during a shift at work earlier this week. I was bored and looking for things to do and ended up coming up with this idea and thinking about all sorts of TV shows I could talk about throughout a post. It’s been four days since then and I’ve only just thought of five shows that I can watch over and over and now I want to marathon them all!

Sex and The City

This is by far one of my favourite shows and before writing this post I started watching it again… It’s probably the tenth time I’ve watched it now. I don’t have an addiction, I have a massive passion and love for this show! I remember asking for it for Christmas/birthday one year and when my brother gave it me I was so damn happy. Before being given it I had watched the odd episode here and there, either online or on TV. It was just nice to be able to watch the show from start to finish. I laughed, I cried and I definitely related to all of the characters at least once. My favourite character is definitely Samantha. She’s just like me, honest, to the point and doesn’t give a fuck. The only characteristic I wish I could share is how confident she is. If you have NEVER seen the TV show and you’re a woman, then get on it RIGHT NOW! Oh and if you’ve watched the movies but not the TV show then WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOU?! The TV show is so much better!!!

Jackass

Aside from Sex and The City this is definitely my favourite show. It’s one of the first of its type that I got into and one that grew on me faster than a rash. I fell in love with all the cast, especially Ryan Dunn. He was always my favourite and when the first film came out and he had the best stunt, I was so damn happy! Of course I was heartbroken when it came out that he had died and it still sucks to this day. I just love how far all the Jackass guys have come throughout the years, including Ryan Dunn before he died. I of course love what Johnny Knoxville has done with Bad Grandpa, and Steve-O with giving up the alcohol and drugs.

Teachers

I’m sad that I couldn’t find a gif from the show to add to this post. It would have been good! Teachers is one of my favourite shows to come from Channel 4 back in the day! Not a lot of people have heard of it, so when I first met Dane and found out he loved it too I was so happy! It’s basically as the title suggests, about a bunch of Teachers. Andrew Lincoln’s character Simon is the main character for half of the series and I love him so much. I just want to slap him and tell him to sort his life out! My favourite character is Brian, a P.E. and Geography teacher who is crap with women but fucking adorable! If you like good British humour about work then give this a watch.

South Park

How could this NOT go on this list?! Between 2015 to 2016 me and Dane watched South Park from start to current (well was to season 19, although season 20 was on recently) and it’s one of those shows where you could watch it over and over again and never get bored of it. I can’t say I have a favourite season in particular but I do have the odd favourite episode or two. This being said I will always hold the first season close to my heart. Purely because it’s the season that begun my love of South Park. My favourite character is Kenny, followed by Cartman, Butters and Towlie.

Dirty Sanchez

Finally we finish this post by talking about Dirty Sanchez and like Teachers I couldn’t get a gif for it. When I WAS searching for one I was really nervous as to what I may have found… I was lucky and nothing came up. πŸ˜› ANYWAY! Like Jackass I got into this when it first came out but only ever got to watch the odd episode on MTV late at night or during the day when I was skipping school… Oh what a rebel I was! πŸ˜› When I was sixteen during the 6 weeks between the end of secondary school and starting college I found series 1 and 2 for sale in HMV and decided to buy them. I only noticed as I got to the till that they were rated 18 and of course I was only 16 at the time so I panicked that I may get ID’d but luckily it never happened and I watched the two series when I got home. Series 2 is my favourite by far as I found it had the funniest moments in. The show is just so real feeling to me and although Jackass is similar they’re both a hell of a lot different in their own ways. Dainton is my favourite by far, hands down!

SO those were five of my favourite TV shows that I can watch over and over again without getting bored! One TV show I didn’t mention was Stranger Things, even though I was close to. Why I hear you scream? Well because I’ve only recently watched season one… I haven’t given it enough time to even watch it again! Maybe in the future though. πŸ˜›

What TV shows can you watch again and again and again and never get bored? Make sure to let me know in the comments!

Until next time all take care and have a lovely weekend.

27 Facts about Me for My 27th Birthday

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO ME, HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO ME, HAPPY BIRTHDAY DEAR NATALEE, HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO ME!

So as you may have gathered by now it’s my birthday and of course it is today. WOOP! I’m not going to lie I am writing this the day before my actual birthday as I plan to spend tomorrow chilling out… Well today now! I plan to have a lovely day with my family whilst Dane’s at work and then go out with them all for a meal in the evening. Saturday is the day when me and Dane will go on a little adventure together for my birthday. I’ll definitely be writing about that at some point in the week.

BUT for now I wanted to write something about myself for my birthday other than what I’ll be doing… So I came up with sharing 27 facts about me to coincide with my age. This was actually awkward as hell to do as I couldn’t think of a whole lot… But I gave it my best shot and I hope you enjoy this post!

  1. I’m allergic to bananas due to my hay fever allergy, which is mostly affected by tree pollen. If I eat bananas my mouth swells up and gets itchy. It sucks!
  2. As you may not have noticed already I LOVE Pokemon and have done since the first time I played Pokemon Red on my cousins Gameboy Color.
  3. Due to previously working in Costa Coffee I had a lot of training as a barista and officially trained to be one towards the end of my career there. I still use these skills in my current job and it’s a skill I am really proud to have.
  4. My favourite colour is purple and red is a close second due to it being the colour that suits me the most to wear.
  5. Due to how relaxing it is I love cleaning my bathroom and even in previous jobs I rather enjoyed it. I just pop my music on or Netflix/YouTube and get on with it!
  6. I love reading manga over novels, my favourite manga being Nana which I recently finished reading.
  7. I can’t choose one but my top 5 favourite films are Forrest Gump, Precious, Spirited Away, The Green Mile and This Is England.
  8. I love to write and although the past year I have hardly had any interest in writing a novel anymore, I have since then realised that I would instead love to write my own comic book with someone drawing the art for me.
  9. My top 3 favourite animals are foxes, otters and dogs.
  10. I have leguminophobia, which is a phobia of baked beans.
  11. When I order coffee I usually order a flat white with vanilla syrup.
  12. The only make up I wear is lipstick.
  13. The first anime I ever watched was Elfen Lied and it’s still one of my favourites!
  14. I really enjoy making cocktails, especially creamy ones… If that makes sense. πŸ˜›
  15. I’m hoping this year that me and Dane can add an addition to our family… NO NOT A BABY! We want a puppy. We want to get a miniature schnauzer.
  16. One of my favourite shops to buy from right now is Ohayou Clothing.
  17. I love anything Japanese but especially the food! Katsu curry is my favourite, alongside salmon sushi.
  18. I mentioned earlier that I love Pokemon, my favourite Pokemon are Mew, all the Eeveelutions, Cubone and Dragonite.
  19. I’m a console collector and currently own a SNES, PlayStation, PS2, PS3, PS4 and a GameCube. I also collect handheld consoles and currently own a GameBoy, GameBoy Color, GameBoy Advance, Nintendo DS Lite and a Nintendo 2DS.
  20. Jackass is one of my favourite TV shows, followed by This Is England and Teachers.
  21. I have too many baths! I just love them as I find them relaxing after a long hard day.
  22. Three bands I want to see before I die are Daft Punk, Queens of The Stone Age and The Bloodhound Gang.
  23. I want to go to Japan before both me and Dane turn 30.
  24. I collect Black Milk Clothing pieces. So far I have 6 and I love them all!
  25. Both me and Dane also collect Nendoroid figures by Good Smile Company. They’re cute little figures mostly inspired by Japanese characters, but more recently some characters from the west have appeared around too.
  26. I do pole dancing as fitness and have done for quite a long time on and off. Although I am currently not doing it I hope to save up enough money to buy my own pole to use at home.
  27. I’m like a magpie when it comes to anything holographic!

So that was 27 facts about me! As I said I did struggle a little but I hope you all like the facts I decided to share with you all.

Which one was your favourite to find out about? Plus tell me a fact about yourselves in the comments down below!

I’m sure I’ll be sharing what goodies I got for my birthday in a couple of days! I know I’m really excited to share what Dane has bought me as I’m super excited to see what I got.

Until next time take care all and I’m off to enjoy being old. πŸ˜›

A-Z: Get To Know Me!

I recently found a post of the same title by Be over at Love From Be (link) and I just loved the post so much. It was just a nice and different way of getting to know the blogger you enjoy reading, or have just discovered. So I thought I would give it a go myself! Make sure to go and check out Be’s blog, as she’s so lovely and down to Earth.

Anime – I love anime so much, it’s something I have enjoyed watching from a young age, and the older I’ve got the more anime shows I have found myself watching. Some of my favourites are Elfen Lied, Nana, Azumanga Daioh, Himouto! Umaru-Chan, Sword Art Online, and Fullmetal Alchemist.

Blogging – I didn’t want to have to use this as the letter B, but I really couldn’t think of anything else! I love my blog. It’s my number one hobby, and something I would love to turn into my job in the future. I’ve been running my blog for four years now, and I continue to carry on with it for as long as possible.

Coffee – Well, the title of my blog does have the word coffee in it! I do really like coffee, so much so I worked in Costa Coffee for nearly three years. That is probably the first time I’ve admitted to working in Costa on my blog. πŸ˜› My favourite coffee is vanilla flat white. I love my coffee strong! πŸ˜›

Dirty Sanchez – One of my favourite shows has to be this. I love not only that the guys are from the UK, but I also love how they do some worse off stuff than what Jackass have ever done. I’m sad that they aren’t still around, but I’ll always think of Dirty Sanchez as one of the shows I grew up watching and loving.

Evanescence – My favourite band for over ten years now. I fell in love with them when I first heard “Bring Me To Life” on KERRANG! Radio. I ended up buying their first album Fallen and listening to it none stop. I still have that album to this day! I have seen them live twice, and hope to go again in the future. I’ve also met all the band mates (apart from Amy!) from the Evanescence album days. My favourite song is “Imaginary”.

Fuerteventura – This place is legit my second home. I’ve been going there since the age of 5 and I love it. I didn’t go for 10 years and it broke my heart, I forgot how much I loved it and how amazing it was there. I really want to live there one day… But we shall see. I would want to work in a cocktail bar, or hell even run my own on the beach! πŸ˜›

Gaming – I’m a gamer. Not a hardcore one, but I still love to play my games! I’m also a console collector too, and I currently own 7 consoles (Nintendo SNES and GameCube, Playstation, PS2, PS3, and PS4, and an Xbox 360), as well as my handheld collection of the original Game Boy, Game Boy Color, Game Boy Advance, Nintendo DS Lite, and my Nintendo 2DS. Go me! But I love playing games. Currently obsessed with the LEGO games. I can’t wait for the Star Wars one to come out.

Hyper Japan – I went to my first Hyper Japan convention last summer in London and I loved it so damn much! It wasn’t as good as I was hoping it was going to be, but I still enjoyed myself. I really hope that me and Dane can attend the winter one this year, seeing as we went to the summer one last year.

iPhone – I own an iPhone 6 and I love it to bits! It’s by far the best phone I have owned to date, and I just love it. It feels nice to hold, is great to look at, and to be honest my new phone case just makes me happy. I only got it in the post yesterday when I got home from work and it’s just so adorable. Who can say no to a sleeping Mew, huh?

Jackass – Another one of my favourite shows. I grew up watching this too funnily enough! I would skip school to stay at home eating toast and watching TV shows on MTV. Or I would stay awake all night watching them on Viva. God those were the days! I was gutted when Ryan Dunn died too by the way. It really hit home as he was my favourite one on the show. I’m sad that this has also come to an end, but I love Bad Grandpa, it’s amazing!

Kawaii – A Japanese word for cute. I love cute things and often say kawaii about them to try and be cute myself. It rarely works and I end up looking like a complete loser. πŸ˜›

Lipstick – This is really the only makeup I wear, and I’m pretty damn proud of that! I love lipstick, and I’ve recently started to get braver in wearing darker lip shades than I already wear. I love liquid lipsticks the most right now. My favourite brand being Jeffree Star Cosmetics. I also love my MAC lipsticks too, my favourite shade will always be Rebel. I love wearing reds, dark pinks, and purples. Can never get enough of them!

Manga – I love reading manga. I started to read it back in 2011 when I finish university and had time on my hands. I started with Elfen Lied, then moved onto Azumanga Daioh, and Nana. I currently have some Nana to finish reading and then I’ll be moving onto the Sword Art Online series. I need to read the Attack On Titan manga too… But I only have enough time on my hands for one thing at a time.

Nendoroid – These are the awesome figures that me and Dane collect, and we really do love them! We have a nice little collection going at the mostly, which are mostly Dane’s. I only have 3 at the moment whilst he has (from memory) 10 figures… My collection is really lame in comparison! Good Smile recently announced they were creating a Deadpool Nendoroid, so me and Dane are really excited for him!

Ocean – I love the ocean. I love how beautiful it looks and sounds with the colours, and the crashing and gentle swishing noises. I finally got to swim in the sea/ocean on my holiday last January with Dane and I loved it so damn much! I can’t wait to do that again someday.

Image taken from We Heart It

Pokemon – Since the age of 6 I have loved Pokemon, and that love is still just as strong now 10 years later. I still play the games, lust after the cute plushies (as you’ll have seen from my recent wish list post here), and get excited when any new news comes out to do with the franchise. I don’t care if I’m a 26-year-old woman, I love Pokemon! πŸ˜›

Queens Of The Stone Age – One of my other favourite bands, and one I really want to see soon! I have always ended up not going to see them live due to having no money, no one to go with, or them playing too far away from home. When they tour again however I won’t let the chance slip away!

Red – Not myΒ  favourite colour (that’s purple) but it’s my colour of choice clothing wise! I love the colour red and how bold, and sexy it looks. It also suits me due to my warm yellow skin tone, as well as my brown hair and eyes. I’m after a gorgeous red rain coat at the moment, but alas I haven’t found much.

Studio Ghibli – This is my Disney. You know everyone loves Disney movies? Well I love Studio Ghibli movies. Me and my boyfriend between us have pretty much all of the films on DVD and whenever a new one comes out we try to go and watch it at the cinema. My favourite is Spirited Away, it always has been and I’m pretty sure it always will be. I do rather like Grave of The Fireflies, even though it’s a really sad film.

Teachers – Another TV show I grew up watching! This used to be on Channel 4 back in the day when I was still at school myself! It always made me want to be a teacher deep down due to how much fun all the teachers had both in and outside of school. Alas that hasn’t happened… My favourite season is probably season 2, but I love them all!

Image taken from We Heart It

Umaru – I am legit Umaru… Constantly hermitting away in my room playing games, eating crap, reading manga, and lusting after things I can’t afford to buy. I’m not cute like her though… Just a very sad 16-year-old stuck inside someone 10 years older than herself… Oh dear. πŸ˜›

Vitamin D – This is an odd one, but I actually recently found out I have a vitamin D deficiency… Which of course sucks but I’m currently on medication to help it. The little pills I get are tiny blue ones, which remind me of The Matrix. πŸ˜›

Writing – I love to write. I do it for my blog, I write books and stories in my spare time, and I even studied critical and creative writing for my masters degree (as well as for my BA too…). So it is safe to say I love writing. πŸ˜› Need I say more than that???

X (I apologise but I couldn’t think of anything with this letter…)

Yankee Candle – I love these candles! They’re my candle of choice whenever I go to buy any new ones, so I’m always burning them at home. I currently have Christmas Eve burning at the moment as I’m trying to use up all myΒ  tea lights and votives. πŸ™‚

Z (I apologise but I couldn’t think of anything with this letter…)

Image taken from We Heart It

So that was my A-Z about me! Thanks again to Be for posting about this, as if she hadn’t I might not have gotten the chance to have a go at it myself. I also apologise if any of my answers were lame… πŸ˜›

Will you be having a go at talking about yourself through an A-Z post? Make sure to let me know if you do so I can read yours!

Until next time, take care all and I hope you’re having a great week so far.

November Wish List

It’s now November, and less than a month until my holiday. Woohoo to that! It’s also coming closer to Christmas, which I am once again extremely excited for this year! I’ve already started my Christmas shopping for before I go away on holiday.

I don’t really want much this month, due to Christmas coming up, plus it’s official that November is the month to not buy anything so that you don’t buy something someone has already bought you for Christmas. But writing a wish list doesn’t hurt… Does it? To be honest I’m already on planning on a few of these items with my holiday coming up, as well as just wanting to get my hands on them!

  • Black Milk Clothing Fox Leggings.

I love Black Milk leggings and I own a pair of their mermaid leggings, which I adore! I also own a dress, which I’ll be wearing for my graduation at the end of the month. Whilst I love Black Milk though, I also love foxes, a hell of a lot more to be honest. I remember seeing Black Milk post a picture on their Instagram of someone wearing these leggings and I got super excited about them, only to discover they were a museum piece, and hadn’t been around for years. You can only imagine how disappointed I was. Then only a month or two later they re-released the fox leggings and I was super excited about it! These are actually on my Christmas list, but I don’t know if anyone will actually buy them for me… It’s not cheap importing from Australia to be honest, so I usually pick up my Black Milk pieces from eBay. These are just gorgeous though, and I’d wear them to death with baggy jumpers, sweatshirts, and anything else really. I’m keeping everything crossed that I can get them before they sell out and become a museum item once again…

  • Jackass T-Shirt.

I am a huge Jackass fan and have been since it came out, which is a really long time! However, throughout all those years I haven’t as of yet owned a t-shirt with the classic skull and crutches logo that everyone knows Jackass for. Why? I don’t even know! Primark recently brought out this t-shirt, and when I went into the Coventry store to look for it, I had zero luck. Someone has bought a bunch though and put them for sale over on eBay for a pretty decent price. So I am contemplating picking one up that I can wear on my holiday. I’m not one for wearing all summery style pieces on holidays, I love wearing quirky things that show off who I am, and what I love. So this will be ideal dressed up with some shorts for daytime, or jeans for a relaxed evening look.

  • Vans Disney 101 Dalmatians T-Shirt.

I’m in LOVE with the Disney 101 Dalmatians collection that has recently come out with Vans, so much so I already have a pair of the shoes from the collection. Go me, huh? I plan on owning most of the collection before it eventually leaves us, and as you can see on this list I have two items, this and a backpack. I am hoping I can pick up this t-shirt before I go on holiday so I can wear it in the daytime when it’s a little chilly or I pop out shopping with my dad for the day. Hell, even for drinks! Like the Jackass t-shirt I would team this with shorts or jeans. As I plan to wear the Vans shoes that I bought too, I would of course worry it might look a little too over the top… So I may have to switch to flip-flops that day! It’s not cheap though at Β£40.00… But student discount will help my wallet a little…

  • Jeffree Star Cosmetics Velour Liquid Lipstick in Hoe Hoe Hoe.

After buying Masochist about a month ago, I am officially in love with Jeffree’s liquid lipsticks! So when I saw that he was releasing some new shades for Christmas, I began to get excited. He’s bringing out five in total and out of them all Hoe Hoe Hoe is the most beautiful… In my eyes anyway. It’s a gorgeous red shade that packs a punch, especially as it’s full of pink shimmer. Something that hasn’t yet been done in the liquid lipstick world! I cannot wait to pick one up, and I will do as soon as Cocktail Cosmetics put them up on their website. I might take this on holiday to rock on nights out, but otherwise it will be a definite must for December, Christmas, and New Year.

  • Nintendo 3DS New Style Boutique 2 – Fashion Forward.

This game was only announced recently and already it’s due out towards the end of the month. I’ve owned the Style Boutique games on both the old Nintendo DS, as well as the first game in the new 3DS series, so I kind of need the second one as well. This comes out just before my holiday so I intend to pick this up for my holiday so I have plenty to do whilst I’m sunbathing, and chilling out in the mornings and evenings. It has a different style of gameplay from the original ones, which I really like the sound of! I think I may have to pre-order this very soon.

  • Am I Normal Yet? by Holly Bourne.

I recently read a review of this by a blogger, and it’s safe to say that after said review, I now need to read this book. It’s about a girl who is dealing with OCD, and how she deals with it when she starts at a new college. Of course it is a young adult novel, which is always the genre I sway towards and pick up. I write this style of work myself, so I love to read it too. I think I’ll be picking this up for my holiday, as I already have one book to take with me to read, so I want to make sure I have another to read. If not, I’ll at least be picking it up in the future, as it sounds like an amazing book!

  • Vans Disney 101 Dalmatians Backpack.

There were originally two backpacks announced in the collection, this one and a red one with little pictures of dalmatian puppies all over it. I wanted the latter, but it hasn’t yet been released on the Vans website, or anywhere else for that matter… Which I am pretty gutted about! However, they have released the other backpack, which is pretty cool! I could do with a new one in the New Year, as my current one is looking like it has seen better days. This isn’t exactly cheap though, which is a shame as it is just a bag… Plus whilst I do somewhat like it, I also still prefer the other one and knowing my luck, I will buy this one and then the red one will come out shortly after… So we shall see!

So that is my second to last wish list of the year! It’s crazy to think there is only one more and then it’ll be 2016! This year has gone by so damn quickly. Phew!

What items are on your wish lists? Make sure to let me know in the comments down below.

Until next time, take care all and I hope you had a great weekend.

Currently #2

I know it hasn’t been too long since the last currently list (just over two weeks to be exact!) but I felt the need to do another one, as I have currently been doing, and loving so much stuff! All whilst working a lot… Which is the reason I’ve been so quiet on my blog lately.

Watching: I’ve been watching Jackass again lately. Every time I re-watch it I am once again reminded how much I love that damn show, but at the same time I forgot just how much I miss Ryan Dunn. As well as Jackass me and my boyfriend recently downloaded the Crunchy Roll app, and we are in love with it! It’s an app like Netflix that allows you to watch anime, as well as Japanese drama, and regular readers will know how much I love all things Japan (apart from octopus balls… Ew) so this app was a definite must have for us. Thanks to the app I was able to finally watch Himouto! Umaru-chan, something I have wanted to watch for AGES! It’s an anime about a high school girl who outside of her house and in school appears to be perfect, in every way. However as soon as she goes home, she turns into a lazy, gaming nerd. That is legit me… Apart from the perfect in every way… That isn’t me. πŸ˜› BUT it is such an amazing anime and I am already a huge fan. I recommend anime fans to check it out ASAP. I’ve linked a video above with the introduction to the show. I don’t want to link anything that will ruin the show for anyone.

Playing: There’s one game I’ve been playing loads this month and that’s Lego: The Hobbit game. I had neglected it for a while until recently when I decided it was time to finish it… I’m not even halfway through it… DOH! I loved The Hobbit films, and although a lot of people disliked them, they were my favourite out of the Lord of The Rings series… Please don’t hate me LoTR’s fans! Alongside that me and my boyfriend finished Life is Strange, after the last episode came out last week. I’ve loved that game so much, and I really want to play it from start to finish soon. The story was amazing, and the way it ended was incredibly sad and not at all predictable like most games, movies, books, etc are these days. I recommend Life is Strange if you like gaming, especially games like Heavy Rain, and Beyond Two Souls where you need to choose how the story ends.

Listening: I honestly haven’t listened to much different from I usually do… I usually listen to Bloodhound Gang of late, but alas this hasn’t been the case the past couple of weeks. On my drive to work and back I’ve had my iPod on shuffle, but this being said a certain band has stuck out lately, and I’ve listened to them quite a bit not just in my car, but also in my boyfriends car. I grew up listened to Limp Bizkit’s album Chocolate Starfish and the Hot Dog Flavored Water (gosh, what a mouthful!) so whenever I listen to it now it takes me back to when I first started to discover nu metal/rap metal and how much I loved it. To name a few of my favourite songs from the album would have to be, “My Way” (which is my favourite Limp Bizkit song tbh…), “Livin’ It Up”, and “Getcha Groove On” (which I have linked above in a YouTube video as it’s my favourite song from the album).

Image taken from weheartit.com

Eating: I’ve been eating so much Japanese food lately, it’s crazy. With the new Grand Central opening in Birmingham, and also a new Yo! Sushi opening up in there too, me and my boyfriend thought we would treat ourselves to Japanese food there. Only to do the same again the weekend after, but at a Japanese restaurant in Coventry called Chi Bar. My friend also wanted to visit the new Yo! Sushi, so I went again, and like before we also went to the Chi Bar that same weekend too! It sounds really bad eating so much Japanese food, diet wise, but oh my it was so worth it! I’m such a fan for the sumo bowls at Yo! Sushi, as well as any flavour gyoza. Yummy!

Image taken from weheartit.com

Wearing: I’ve still been wearing my Dr Martens boots loads, but sadly they have been giving my feet a bit of trouble so they’ve been retired for a few weeks to allow my feet a much-needed break. Instead I have been rocking my Star Wars Vans again, a pair of shoes that I have been loving all of 2015 so far, and I know this will continue. They’re so perfect and easy to wear, with any outfit really. I really want to pick up another pair, just incase my current ones fall apart or anything worse! I do however have some new Vans, which I will be showing off on Friday!

Image taken from Jeffree Star Cosmetics official Instagram page

Wanting: Honestly there isn’t all that much I am lusting after at the moment… Which comes as a shock to me to be perfectly honest. πŸ˜› If there is one thing I really want right now, it is one of the Christmas shades from Jeffree Star Cosmetics, this one of course being Hoe Hoe Hoe. It is a beautiful dark red shade, with pink shimmer running throughout. I haven’t seen anyone else do this with a liquid lipstick, and not to mention it is very beautiful! I’ll be ordering one as soon as they are put live on Cocktail Cosmetics website!

What things are you currently into? Make sure to let me know in the comments down below. I apologise that I have been so quiet lately, I am now working full-time at work again so I am trying my best to try and juggle work and my blog. It’ll all be okay! ^_^

Until next time all, take care and I hope all my readers are having a lovely week so far.
