Nyanzilla The Elementalists Enamel Pin Collection

This is a blog post I’ve been looking forward to writing for a few days now since these adorable AF enamel pins arrived! Well, it’s been on my blog “do write” list for a while, but instead of talking about something else this weekend and wait until August to share these… I’ve sort of swapped my blog post schedule around. πŸ˜›

I hope you guys enjoy this weeks blog post! It’s all about Nyanzilla and their beautiful Elementalists enamel pin collection! None of these pins were gifted to me, I bought them all with my hard earned monies. πŸ™‚

At the start of 2021 I mentioned Nyanzilla on a blog post of a enamel pin collective haul (which you can read here). This was the first time I’d ordered anything from Nyanzilla, which was an enamel pin from the RPG Job Class Enamel Pins – Warriors of Cute Kickstarter.

At the start of February this year Nyanzilla launched The Elementalists Enamel Pin Kickstarter. They have previewed all the upcoming enamel pin designs on Instagram and I was SO excited for it! I knew I was going to back for all of the designs and had zero regrets about it! I can’t 100% remember what happened but I know now that the Kickstarter in qu3estion is now subject of an intellectual property dispute and is currently unavailable… Which is rubbish! I wish I could have shown you guys the Kickstarter.

I know that due to being in the UK my Kickstarter pledge was cancelled by Nyanzilla and moved over to Etsy for payment and such. This was handled really well and Kanae even offered to throw some freebies in too for being so understanding.

The Elementalists collection is a Pokemon Eeveelution collection inspired by mages. As someone who often plays as mages in games (especially Elder Scrolls!) and also plays D&D, I knew I loved the collection! It’s something I haven’t seen yet. The first design for this collection was actually posted on Nyanzilla’s Instagram almost a year ago late August 2020! Eevee, Leafeon, Espeon, Umbreon and Glaceon’s designs were shown at the time, but it wasn’t until late January 2021 where Nyazilla posted about this collection again, as well as showcasing the rest of the Eeveelution designs (Flareon, Jolteon, Vaporeon and Sylveon).

As mentioned I backed for all nine designs, as well as one special design I fell in love with and HAD to have. Originally I was only going to back three designs, those being Eevee, Vaporeon and Sylveon. I’m honestly so excited to show these off to you guys! I’ll be linking back to Nyanzilla’s website as The Elementalists collection won’t be on Etsy. If you are from the UK/EU you can email Nyanzilla in regards to what items you would like to buy and a custom listing will be placed on Etsy for you! πŸ™‚

I’ll be talking about these pins in their Pokemon numbers, because why not!

All designs are available in both their original colours, as well as their shiny colours too, which is an awesome touch! Just an FYI, some of the titles below for enamel pins will be missing their descriptions and this is because they don’t tell you anything more than what the title of the product does anyway!

I want to mention first of all that I didn’t receive any form of customs charges, which surprised me! I was prepared for this, as I spent so much money on these enamel pins, but alas I dodged it… Whether it was due to paying the VAT on Etsy or not, I’m unsure!

The package itself and how everything was presented was really nice! Everything was wrapped in blue tissue paper, with a Nyanzilla sticker being the first thing I saw when I opened the box. It says, “Thank you Adventurer! Happiness boost inside!” which I thought was a really cute touch.

Inside the package itself was of course the goodies I bought, but there is an adorable card/print as well as thank you for backing and supporting the Kickstarter campaign and a discount code to use on the online store! πŸ˜€

The image on the card is an Eevee making a potion up! It says “25th” along the table cloth and I wasn’t sure if this was that I was backer number 25 or something else… It’s actually to celebrate the 25th anniversary of Pokemon this year! I know this happened this year but completely forgot… And to think I call myself a Pokemon fan… πŸ˜‰

I received some stickers in my parcel, as well as the enamel pins. I’ll be showing off the stickers first!

The stickers are amazing quality as they’re thick and have a matte feel/look to them, so I’d like to think they’d be long lasting!

  • Vinyl Sticker: Sleeping – Cute little vinyl sticker of Sleeping Elementalist. – $3.50 – (link)

Look at this little cutie! It’s an illustration of Eevee sleeping on a book outside. It looks tired out after researching mage spells! It’s such a lovely design and I’m glad I have the sticker version of it. I have a feeling this was a freebie from backing the Kickstarter. This is also available as an enamel pin, which you can find here.

  • Vinyl Sticker: Little Helper – Cute little vinyl sticker of Little Helper from the Elementalist collection. – $3.50 – (link)

I’ll be honest, Mimikyu isn’t a Pokemon I understand all the fuss about… But this Eevee x Mimikyu design that Nyanzilla has come out with is adorable! I’m pretty sure this was a freebie from Nyanzilla, which is really lovely!

  • Little Helper Enamel Pin – Cute little helpers of the Elementalists! – $10.00 – (link)

Alongside the sticker, Nyanzilla also sent me a freebie of the enamel pin version of this! Like the sticker it’s an Eevee x Mimikyu design wrapped in a snuggly brown hoodie, with some Eevee ears and a cute and derpy little face. I much prefer this design to the original Mimikyu design to be honest with you. πŸ˜› This enamel pin is gold metal plating.

  • Flying Enamel Pin – Elementalists are powerful magic wielders each mastering an element to aide them in their journey. But they must also master the ways of flying! – $14.00 – (link)

This is an enamel pin designed I backed for with the Kickstarter. I couldn’t resist it, it’s so adorable! As you can see it’s an Eevee riding a broomstick, with a cute little brown hat on, behind a glitter blue sky! This is a huge pin and definitely the biggest lot of the bunch I received! It just makes me happy whenever I see it and because of that it’s up there in my favourite designs from this collection! This enamel pin is gold metal plating.

  • Magic Portal Enamel Pin – Elementalists are powerful magic wielders each mastering an element to aide them in their journey. This is a magical portal the Elementalists use to travel great distances. – $14.00 – (link)

From memory this is an enamel pin that came free from backing the Kickstarter campaign. It’s a gorgeous glass window style design with an Eevee surrounded by all its Eeveelutions and elements. The types of Eeveelutions look exactly like the base energy cards seen in the Pokemon Trading Card Game. This is a gorgeous enamel pin though and I’d love to see it as a keychain that’s see through or a sticker! This enamel pin is silver metal plating.

  • Elementalist Enamel Pin – Elementalists are powerful magic wielders each mastering an element to aide them in their journey. Where all Elementalists begin, the first step in choosing their elemental path. – $12.00 – (link)

The Eevee design, the main one from the bunch and it’s one of my favourites! I love how Eevee is wearing a cute little brown fluffy coat, alongside with an Eevee shaped staff too! Eevee looks ready for the winter weather, that’s for sure! I love the little smile on Eevee’s face too, as well as the subtle design on its coat. This enamel pin is gold metal plating.

  • Hydro Mage Enamel Pin – $12.00 – (link)

This is another one of my favourite designs, if not my favourite out of them all! Vaporeon has always been one of my favourite Pokemon as I love it’s mermaid/dog look. This design is beautiful though and I cannot get enough of it. I love the flowing blue dress it’s wearing and I especially love that their staff has a Horsea at the top! The detail on this one is amazing and I just can’t get over it, plus the colours remind me of summer holidays in Fuerteventura, which I equally love. I semi regret not getting the shiny variant of this one too, I think I will in the future. Purple is my favourite colour and as this is up there as my favourite design, it’s kind of silly not to? This enamel pin is silver metal plating.

  • Storm Caller Enamel Pin – $12.00 – (link)

I love what a little rogue Jolteon is always seen to be, but this design really does show that! The snaggle tooth is my favourite bit about this design for sure! I also love how fuzzy his coat is, it makes him look semi royal and important, which I love! His staff doesn’t stand out to me as anything… unique like some of the others, but it’s definitely cool! I also love how grumpy and serious he looks too. Nyanzilla really nailed this design. This enamel pin is gold metal plating.

  • Ember Mage Enamel Pin – The Ember Mage is the Master of conjuring and controlling the flames. – $12.00 – (link)

This design is up there as one of the ones I feel had a LOT of detail put into it, which I always love! I feel enamel pins can never have too much detail. Flareon is surrounded by fire, even the staff is made out of fire! The pop of blue on the outfit really does stand out, which I like as it feels a little bit like the cloaks colour got lost amongst Flareon’s red/orange fur. I feel like Flareon isn’t as serious as Jolteon, but that sort of, “Don’t fuck with me or I’ll burn you…” look going on? πŸ˜› This enamel pin is gold metal plating.

  • Mystic Enamel Pin – $12.00 – (link)

Both of the gen two Eeveelutions have a VERY similar theme going on, in the sense they are clearly have face coverings on, which I really like! It makes them appear more mysterious, which they both are amongst the other Eeveelutions. Espeon is a gorgeous purple colour (of course!) and I especially love how much detail was put into their staff, which clearly is to resemble the sun. Their face covering only seems to cover their mouth. A sun brooch is also on their cloak too. This enamel pin is rose gold metal plating.

  • Shadow Mage Enamel Pin – The Shadow Mage is the Master of controlling the dark energy. – $12.00 – (link)

As mentioned above, both of the gen two Eeveelutions are sporting face coverings, Umbreon however has more covering their face than Espeon. Umbreon definitely has a darker design than Espeon with their black and yellow cloak. I love that their mouth and nose are covered up as with the darker colours it makes it look more mysterious, if that makes sense! Umbreon’s staff is of a moon and the design of it is really detailed, which I love! This enamel pin is gold metal plating.

  • Druid Enamel Pin – The Druid harness the power of nature to protect and aide them on their journey. – $12.00 – (link)

I actually think this is the design with the most detailing on it and due to that it’s up there as one of my favourites! The Leafeon design reminds me of Radagast the Brown The Hobbit, but this is kind of obvious why, isn’t it? πŸ˜› The colour scheme of this design is one of my favourites and I especially love the white themes brought into it too with the flowers on Leafeon’s cloak, hat and staff. The staff is so pretty too to boot. Just everything about this pin is gorgeous! It reminds me of my friend Sarah (Raiin Monkey) as I know how much she loves this design. This enamel pin is gold metal plating.

  • Frost Mage Enamel Pin – The Frost Mage controls the battlefield by conjuring storms of snow to slow their foes. – $12.00 – (link)

The Glaceon design is so pretty and it kind of reminds me of the White Witch from The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe. The design is gorgeous and I just love every aspect of it! Glaceon’s cold stare, the snowflake staff, to the fluffy cloak. The colours of this one are perfect too and I especially love that it’s silver metal plating too! I can just imagine Glaceon being a bad ass and not standing for anyone’s shit. Again, this enamel pin is silver metal plating.

  • Fairy Enamel Pin – $12.00 – (link)

Finally we have another one of my favourite designs from this collection and one I feel is a firm favourite from a lot of people who backed the Kickstarter campaign! The Sylveon design has a fairy theme to it and the design looks so playful and happy out of all of the designs. Sylveon’s whole outfit reminds me of a cross between Little Red Riding Hood and someone who is into Japanese Lolita fashion. Sylveon’s staff is also a heart shape, similar in style to the staff that Jolteon is holding. I especially love the fact Sylveon is winking. Like Vaporeon, I would love the shiny variant of this one too. This enamel pin is rose gold metal plating.

There we have it guys, all of The Elementalists enamel pins! I’m so glad I decided to get them all, as I know for a fact I would have regretted it and scrambled to try and buy the other designs at a later point.

I know in the future I’d love to pick up some of the shiny variants of Vaporeon and Sylveon, as well as the prints of Eevee, Vaporeon and Sylveon. I’ll be looking to pick some goodies for Christmas too… πŸ˜›

Alongside the enamel pins, Nyanzilla did also bring out vinyl sticker sheets and prints of all The Elementalists designs. If you’re interested in any of these, I’ll pop a link below for where you can view the whole collection. Alongside that, you CAN also buy all nine of the Eeveelutions enamel pins in bundle set, which I’ll link here.

July Wish List β€˜21

I can’t believe we’re already over a week into July! I also can’t believe Halloween is just around the corner too, as well as Christmas. Not going to lie, I love summer but damn am I excited for autumn in September! I have so many plans this year. πŸ˜›

I feel like July on my blog is turning into a strange month for posts. Nothing has really come out in the pattern/order I wanted it to and this is just purely because June felt like a long month for me and a tiring month at that. A lot of stuff was happening and although I had a week off work, I don’t at all feel rested.

My Twitch streams are keeping me busy too and I have so many ideas swirling around for the future of Twitch and more… I want to “announce” it here (if you will…) and say that I’m hoping to do YouTube in the future. I don’t know when, but I have so many ideas going around my head after a friend of mine planted the seed.

That aside, I’m really excited for this months wish list! Some items are pre-ordered and some I’m really hoping to order… More below of course. πŸ˜›

I hope you guys are having a lovely weekend and if you’re watching the football (I’m not :P) I hope you get the results you hope for. πŸ™‚

  • Pikachu Tonal Chain Wallet by Loungefly – (link)

If there is one thing I kind of lack in, it’s shoulder bags. I only really have one (my fake Samantha Vega Sailor Moon shoulder bag) which is my go to, as well as one of my favourite bags as Dane bought it for me back in 2015 when we went to Hyper Japan. The fact it’s still lasted six years later is great! However, I would like something else to use alongside this and this Pikachu Loungefly bag looks to be the one for me! It’s available from the Pokemon Center USA website, but I’m going to source elsewhere me thinks. It’ll be one to use if I’m just popping round to friends, or going out for food/drinks. Think I might treat myself to it at the end if the month!

  • Animal Crossing: New Horizons 2022 Day-to-Day Calendar – (link)

I found out about this through Twitter and pre-ordered is straight away! As many of you know, I LOVE Animal Crossing (I stream it twice a week on Twitch too :P) so when I saw they were bringing out a little day-to-day desk calendar I was tempted. However, when I found out it have villagers birthdays featured on the day in question, I kind of knew I had to get it for my desk! It’s out at the end of the month and you can pre-order one yourself from Amazon now. πŸ˜€

  • Smoko Pearl Boba Tea Beauty Fridge – (link)

As regular readers will know, I LOVE Smoko and the items they have out, especially the Asian food and potato characters. I’ve been eyeing up the fridge on their website for what feels like years now, so now it’s come to Urban Outfitters in the UK I would really like to pick it up! I very much doubt I will though, but I wanted to show it off to you guys in case you want to get it! πŸ˜€

  • Pokemon Plamo Collection Mew Plastic Model – (link)

This is something that has been on my wish list for quite some time now and I’d still really love it! I think it would be so much fun to get, make a video of me putting together/stream me putting it together. I’ve not seen anyone in the UK selling this, but I have found it on From Japan, as well as Amazon Japan (linked above) so I think as and when I want to make an order from either in the future, I’m going to pick this up. I want to keep this little cutie on my desk next to my Sylveon capchara (can see and read about it here). I think there’s loads of these you can choose from too including Pikachu, Eevee, Gengar, Mewtwo, etc. If you search for “Pokemon Plamo Collection” on Amazon Japan you’ll see them all. πŸ™‚

  • PomPomPurin Bell Charm Netsuke Strap – (link)

This is something I’ve been after for a while and actually found it through a seller on Etsy, but wasn’t 100% sure so left. Now that ARTBOX has it in stock I may order it when payday comes at the end of the month! I’d pop this bell charm on my Loungefly PomPomPurin backpack! I’m planning to show that off on my blog in the future, which will be so cute! πŸ˜€ I do really love ARTBOX, but I’ve never actually made an order with them!

  • The Sad Ghost Club Sad Ghost Plush – (link)

Finally we have a pre-order item that I ordered last week after it released. The owner of SGC decided to bring out a plush of the Sad Ghost and I couldn’t resist! For those who may never have heard, SGC “We’re a small creative project making comic books, apparel and merchandise to spread positive awareness of mental health.” which I adore. It makes me feel less lonely and understood when their posts relate to how I’m doing that day with my anxiety and depression. So, when I saw that they’d brought out a plush of the little cutie, I had to order! This little guy will sit with my plushies in my plush cabinet! If you’re really interested in getting your own Sad Ghost, please make sure to snap him up now because it’s only a limited edition item with one run!

Anyhoo guys, those are my wish list items for July! I’m on a spending ban this month in all honesty due to buying my new car, but I’m going to start spending less now, because I need to. I think I’ll have a few treats a month and then that’s it! πŸ™‚

What items are on your wish lists? Do you like what’s on mine? Let me know your thoughts in the comments down below!

Until next time guys, I hope you’re having a lovely weekend and take care. πŸ™‚

7 Things I’m Looking Forward to Doing Once Lockdown Eases

As many of you may know (especially if you live in the UK) we are starting to ease lockdown again this month and whilst I’m not fussed 100% about it all right now, it will be nice to have some “normality” to the world again soon.

So far this month I’ve been really stumped for ideas of content to write, probably due to lockdown three really kicking my arse mentally! Due to this, I reached out to my friends and followers on Twitter to see if there was anything you as friends and readers would love to see and read on my blog. My amazing friend Connor suggested I share some things I’m looking forward to doing when lockdown eases, so go and thank him for today’s post! πŸ˜€

Want to also pop a little plug here for Connor. He has an AMAZING blog himself and it’s all about Japan, so if you love and especially loved my Japan content from last year, I know you’ll love what Connor has to offer! His blog is called KumaGaijin’s Japan Guide, so just click the name of it and it’ll take you straight there! πŸ˜€

I’m actually really excited to share some of the things I’ll be hoping to do once lockdown lifts. I haven’t got a holiday booked, nor do I have a lot of other things set up, but little things we haveΒ allΒ taken for granted will be mentioned here. I really hope you enjoy it! πŸ™‚

Drive Time Drag and Drag Fest UK.

If there is something I was able to do before I went to Japan in 2020 and COVID really took hold of the world was go to a drag show. It was Miss Vanjie and it was amazing! I was hungry for more and had already planned who else I’d love to go and see with my friends, but yeah… COVID happened. After discussion with one of my friends we’re going to Drive Time Drag in April and we’re contemplating going to Drag Fest UK in August as well!

I would love to go, see and most importantly of all support queens who I’ve discovered from RuPaul’s Drag Race who I adore. I’m hoping to see The Vivienne, Baga Chipz, Tayce, Ellie Diamond and my favourite, Lawrence Chaney. I’m so excited to be able to have a drink and a laugh with one or more of my friends who love Drace Race the same as me!

If you’d like to know more about either of these drag shows I’ve popped links below the images! πŸ˜€

Summer BBQ, games and drinks with groups of friends.

If there is something I’ve missed it’s spending warm summer days with my friends and their children. We might have a BBQ with some, takeaway with others. Play games, both board and video, chill with the kids and watch Disney films and more. Overall it’s just amazing to spend time with our friends, especially the ones we treat like family. One group in particular we haven’t seen since what feels like summer 2019. We had organised to see them but then we fell poorly, then the next time they fell poorly and then COVID happened, so us all spending time together is well overdue. Not only are we excited to see and spend time with them again, but both them and their children are too.

I’m so excited, I can’t wait for when we can all be together again. πŸ™‚

Going out for food and drinks.

If there is one thing I really took for granted this past year since COVID hit… It’s how much I love Asian food. I’ve especially missed sushi, bubble tea and Asian breads. Basically, the Chinese Quarter in Birmingham town centre, as well as YO! Sushi. I have been able to have a taste for sushi when it was mine and Dane’s anniversary last June, as well as bubble tea when we bought a kit to make ourselves (which was really nice by the way!), as well as when I went into town in August 2020 and bought bubble tea home for me and Dane.

Some other foods I miss are Chinese buffet foods, Nando’s (I know I’ve made it at home but it isn’t the same!), yummy coffees (vanilla flat white) and anywhere else that ever took our fancy to eat and drink at really. Hey maybe go out for some alcoholic drinks too, whether it be a pub or a cocktail bar! As I said, I’ve really taken this for granted and I can’t wait for the day that going for a meal, whether it be friends, during a trip out, with family and even a date night is doable and “normal” again.

Spending time with friends.

If there is something I’ve missed, it’s seeing my friends, especially my best and closest friends. I haven’t even exchanged birthday and Christmas presents with my one friend that, so that’s very much overdue! I was planning on sending her gifts, but I’m actually still waiting for her Christmas present to arrive. That being said, I would love for us to be able to meet up in the summer, whether I go see her or she comes to me will be decided, but it would be lovely to just spend the day together, catch up, go for coffee and maybe something to eat too. πŸ™‚ I’ve spoken to her quite a lot throughout the lockdowns and more and that’s been lovely. πŸ™‚

Another one of my best friends I really miss. I’m so proud of her achievements already in 2021 and I’m sad we weren’t able to go out and celebrate these achievements! When things are starting to lift, we’re planning to go out for drinks in town. Lots of cocktails, giggles and probably some chips on the way home. Alongside this, we’re planning to grab a hot chocolate/coffee and a picnic and go to a park near my home so we can spend time together. We’ve also thought about going away for a weekend together somewhere nice, which I’m excited to do! It’ll be something to look forward to.

Alongside these two friends, I miss my closest friends who I met up with regularly for coffee dates and gossip, as well as shopping trips, sushi, playing board games and more! I also want to meet up with friends I’ve met online1 I have a few people in mind I’d love to see and have coffee dates with and go geeky/kawaii shopping. I can’t wait to slowly bring all this back, but due to how my mental health has been thrown around with COVID and the lockdowns, it’s going to take a while for me to feel comfortable again with going into town centres and travel on public transport (aka trains) as and when need be. I have a car and can drive, so maybe I’ll finally kick my anxieties in the butt with travelling far from my home. We shall see. πŸ™‚

Spontaneous shopping trips.

I miss being able to turn to Dane, friends and even my parents, “Fancy going shopping?”. Even last year when stuff started to lift it was still weird to think about. Me and Dane went out once for “non essential” shopping and even then that was because we needed stuff for the house. We only ventured to Homesense and it was amazing. I think it’s one of the few times I felt “normal” and “safe” during a shopping trip. As I mentioned before, me and a friend went into Birmingham town centre in August 2020 and it was horrible. No one was social distancing, following rules and it was very busy. I was anxious the whole time and for the two weeks after that trip, I was scared I’d have COVID. As well as that, me and that same friend ventured into town a few weekends before lockdown happened and we were anxious the whole time and constantly slathering our hands with hand sanitizer.

Granted all the guidelines we are currently doing are going to be around for years to come, which is fine. I genuinely miss the spontaneous nature of going into town shopping because you’ve been paid and fancy treating yourself to something. Whether it be some new clothes, some manga, anime, cute kawaii goods and more. I miss going to the geeky/kawaii shops in Birmingham, including Worlds Apart and Forbidden Planet. I think I’m too anxious to venture into Birmingham town centre when lockdown lifts and shops begin to open after what happened previously. If there is anyone I’ll venture into town with it’ll either be Dane or one of my friends.

One place I really want to go to at the moment are various gardening centres around my area. 2021 is the year of me getting my garden how I want it to be and this is somewhere I plan to go to in April. I want to buy my mom some plants as a belated Mothers Day present, as well as myself for the garden, including lavender and an iris.

My Chemical Romance UK Tour 2020

Image taken from Ticketmaster UK

My Chemical Romance.

I’ve definitely spoken about this on my blog before and damn is it a show I’m still fucking excited for! I have a back story for this I just HAVE to share with you all. πŸ˜›

So, whilst I was in Japan in January 2020 it was announced that My Chemical Romance would be coming to the UK for a ONE DATE SHOW. I knew I needed to go. Then I found out that tickets would go for sale whilst I was in Japan. I set an alarm in my phone (UK time 9am, Japan time 6pm) ready for when tickets would go live in the UK and we planned to pop to a cafe whilst we were out and about so I could snag my tickets. However, due to the pocket WiFi we’d obtained being a bit β€œnaff” I sadly missed out on my chance to snag the one date show AND the second date that has been announced too. I was gutted and I almost let it ruin my evening.

Not even a week after returning home to the UK and a third date was announced! I KNEW this time I would get tickets. I would be at work when the tickets went on sale but stepped away from my desk for a while to get my tickets bought. They weren’t cheap, but so worth it to be able to see one of my favourite bands again! This will be the third time I’ll be seeing My Chemical Romance live and this time I’ll be with Dane, which is something I’m excited for too!

I just pray it doesn’t get rescheduled again… Or worse, cancelled! I’m so bloody excited and looking forward to dressing up for the evening. I’m going to get some black and red nails done, as well as dress up semi emo for some nostalgia! Alongside that, if things are semi back to normal, I’d like to go for a meal with Dane before the show so we can make a date evening out of it. πŸ™‚

Seeing and spending time with my parents.

If there is one thing I’ve really missed throughout lockdown two and three it’s spending time with my parents. I know I’m not the only person to feel this way. It’s good that in this day and age we have technology such as FaceTime, WhatsApp and Skype so that we can video call our loved ones but… It just isn’t the same. I do get to see my parents at the end of my drive too, but again it isn’t the same as being able to sit in a house together with a hot drink and the chance to offer to cook a Sunday roast and more.

I’m really excited for the end of March to go round to see my parents in the garden and vice versa. 2021 is the year of getting my garden finished and to a level that I’m finally happy with it. My mom has offered and already given me a hand with getting my garden to a nice and colourful place, so in the future I would love to have my parents over for drinks and a BBQ. I could go pick them up and bring them round so they could enjoy themselves to the max.

I just can’t wait to be able to actually sit with my parents again. After my aunt passed away in September, COVID and lockdown has really taught me how much time I’m losing with my loved ones and I want that time back again as soon as I can.

So, there we have it guys, 7 things I’m looking forward to doing once lockdown eases. To be honest with you, If I feel certain things I’ve mentioned don’t feel safe to do, I won’t do them (apart from My Chemical Romance because I REALLY want to go!) because it really isn’t worth putting my loved ones in any harm due to everything going on in the world right now. I’d rather stay at home and just call them via a video call or message online.

Now I’ve shared my plans, what do you guys plan to do with lockdown eases here in the UK? Please let me know, I’m Β always so intrigued and happy to read what everyone has planned. I just want some form of β€œnormality” back now as I do really miss being able to do things that we could before COVID.

Most of all I really do miss Japan. I’m craving to go again soon and there’s not much point in planning much right now because we don’t 100% know when we can go back due to COVID. My memories from my Japan trip in January 2020 really have kept me going the past year since I started working from home and the first lockdown hit the UK.

Honestly though guys, we can get through this! We’ve been doing this for a year and we’ll continue to support and keep each other going until we can have some sort of normality back in the UK.

So please, do share with me what your plans are when lockdown eases here in the UK. πŸ™‚

Until next time guys, stay safe and take care!

March Wish List β€˜21

I can’t quite believe we’re coming to the end of the first week of March. I woke up this morning and said to Dane, “Is it Friday?” because the week has gone by so bloody quickly!

I’ve been having a think about what items to talk about and share with you for my wish list this month as I’m struggling a tad AND as I mentioned on my favourites post (which you can read here), I’m on a spending ban again in March. It’s not gone off to the best start but meh… It is what is it and I’m going to try and be better throughout the rest of the month!

All of the items on this wish list are things I plan to purchase come payday due to pre-orders or because they’re home related items I’d like to buy.

I hope you enjoy this months wish list as always! πŸ˜€

  • Persona 5 Animation Parts 1 & 2 (link)

As everyone knows, I love Persona 5. It was a game I played when it first came out in the UK and I quickly fell in love with it. I’m currently playing Persona 5: Royal and will look at FINALLY starting to play Persona 5: Strikers today. I love anime and when I heard Persona 5 was getting one, I was so excited! This was quite a while ago now and I’ve never actually watched the anime. 😦 This is because at the time it was subbed (Japanese speaking with English subtitles) and as I’d played the game dubbed (English speaking) I wanted to watch the anime with the same voice actors that I’d played the game with. I know Channel 4/AllΒ  4 have the English dub to watch, but with adverts and all that, I was put off. Now it’s coming out for pre-order at the end of the month I’m happy to wait a little longer after ordering! πŸ˜€

  • PokΓ©mon TCG: Eevee Sweet Choices Playmat (link)

I’m not a Pokemon Trading Card player, but I do hope to get my own desk in the future and this ADORABLE Eevee Sweet Choices playmat would be amazing to buy to use as a massive mouse/keyboard mat for my future desk. It’s a cute design with an Eevee on the front holding and surround by Eeveelution themed chocolates. The background is white and is covered in the Eeveelution themed chocolates. This is really hard to get hold of now and you’re looking over Β£60 to get hold of one from America. This is kind of frustrating to be honest as it only sold for $24.99 this time last year. I’m going to keep my eyes peeled for it, as it’s definitely something I’d love for a desk. It would be so bloody cute. πŸ™‚

  • M&S Pure Cotton Strawberry Bedding Set (link)

I don’t know about you, but I’m always up for buying some new bedding, especially in spring and winter. I was contemplating buying some new bedding in winter but ended up leaving it, which I’m glad about as I’m definitely planning on buying this bedding soon! M&S bedding is really lovely and great quality, so when I spotted this strawberry bedding set on the website, I fell in love! I love strawberries and the print on this bedding is really sweet, delicate and the pink strawberries remind me of Japan a little. This would just be perfect to use throughout the year, especially spring and summer. When payday hits at the end of the month, I’m going to order this. πŸ™‚

  • Smoko Pearl Boba Tea Air Purifier (link)

I LOVE Smoko’s products! They’re so practical and kawaii that I do love having them in my own. I love their Pearl Boba design and I already own the little light variant of it. So when Firebox announced they’d got the air purifier in stock, I KNEW I had to have it! As someone who suffers from hay fever, this purifier would be perfect in the summer to keep next to me when working from home in the week. Imagine too if I had my own desk, with the cute Eevee playmat, as well as this air purifier? Would be so cute!!!

  • Asda Artificial Succulent In Dalmatian Pot (link)

For some reason I thought I’d mentioned this last month… But I didn’t! I actually discovered this through someone on Twitter, which was amazing! I would have bought it last month if it hadn’t been for a mixture of spending ban AND you need to buy something else in order to snag this item from the website. I haven’t seen anything I want or need to justify ordering it, which is a bit of a shame. I’ll get one eventually I’m sure. I plan to keep it by the front door to add a bit of colour into the hallway!

  • Lunaticgumis Puppycat Enamel Pin & Sticker (link)

Finally we have this amazing enamel pin and sticker design from Lunaticgumis. I LOVE Bee & Puppycat, so I’m always in the lookout for merch from independent artists. Lunaticgumis is my favourite for Puppycat goodies and I already own some stickers, an enamel pin and even an amigurumi of Puppycat from her (I’ll be talking about her in the future on my blog!). This Puppycat design is so adorable as Puppycat is dressed as Bee! πŸ˜€ This isn’t something I’ve seen anyone else do in the community yet, so it’s something unique for sure! I’ll definitely be ordering the enamel pin and the sticker in the future. πŸ˜€

So yeah there we have it, all of my wish list items for March! As I said previously, I’m on a spending ban this month so these items won’t be bought in a massive hurry in all honesty, but I do really love sharing my wish lists with you all to promote independent artists and more.

What item(s) do you have on your wish list this month? Make sure to let me know in the comments below!

Until next time, take care all and I hope you’re all having a lovely weekend. πŸ™‚

February Wish List ’21

I honestly can’t quite believe it’s February already… 2021 is already flying by and it only feels like yesterday that I was going back to work after the Christmas/New Year break!

I have to be honest here and say, I am on a spending ban! I spent a lot of money before Christmas and I suffered during January due to it. It’s not all bad though as it means I can save up for stuff in the future, especially things to do with my house!

Some of the items on this months wish list I’ve pre-ordered, with one item arriving already which is pretty good! Seriously though guys I’m on a MAJOR spending ban this morning and I might even do it going into March as well, just to try and save lots of money to do stuff to the house. πŸ™‚

  • Kittynaut Soot Sprite Enamel Pin (link)

I really love Kittynaut’s designs, especially the Studio Ghibli related ones. I really like the look of this Soot Sprite enamel pin, which reminds me of a collar pin. The Soot Sprites look so cute and happy with their sugar candy! I’d love to wear this with a shirt on the colour to add something different, or maybe even on a sweater on the neck. I’m definitely going to look in ordering this via their Etsy in the future!

  • Razer Base Station V2 Chroma in Quartz (link)

I mentioned in my monthly favourites that I recently picked up the Razer Kraken Quartz gaming headset and I LOVE IT! I don’t just use it for work, I use it for personal too whilst playing games with friends, D&D sessions with friends and also phone calls with friends via Discord and Messenger. At the moment when I’m not using the headset I wrap the cord around it and keep it on our shared desk. In the future I would really love the Razer Base Station in the matching Quartz colour as not only would it be able to hold my headset on the desk, but it also looks like you can have some USB items plugged into it too, due to the ports at the base. This isn’t something I would buy soon, I’d prefer to wait a while, especially if I can get my own desk in the future.

  • Persona 5 Strikers PS4 (link)

To think when I was in Japan in January 2020, this game was coming out late February 2020. There were no talks of it coming out in the UK and people worried we wouldn’t get it. I knew we would deep down and it’s FINALLY coming out in the UK at the end of February! I made sure to get my copy pre-ordered so I don’t miss out. I pre-ordered from Gamersheek as they have the BEST game prices out there! Plus, if you see a game cheaper elsewhere, but would prefer to buy with Gamersheek, they’ll match the price for you. They’re my go to for games in 2021! Honestly I am really excited for Persona 5 Strikers, but I am disappointed the name “Persona 5 Scramble” wasn’t kept like how it is overseas. If you’d like to read a review all about Gamersheek, make sure to check out this post from last year where I spoke aboutΒ Persona 5: Royal.

  • MartithArt Foxtober Throw Blanket (link)

I’ve had my eye on this blanket for quite a while now and I’d still love to get it but meh spending ban. πŸ˜› I love foxes and I love being snuggly and warm so this blanket is perfect for me. MartithArt appears to have created this during “Foxtober” which I can assume is a drawing challenge for October. The designs are gorgeous and the size of this blanket looks like it would be perfect to pop on my lap whilst working at the desk to keep snug and warm. I’ll definitely pick this up in the future, but not yet due to spending ban.

  • Nendoroid Hatsune Miku: Kōrin Kimono Ver. (link)

This is an Nendoroid figure I pre ordered MONTHS ago through YY Kawaii (yykawaiimerch1 on Instagram). I saw it and I knew I had to have it quite frankly. We only own one Miku Nendoroid figure, which is the snowboarding Miku from back in 2016. As Dane is a snowboarder (and I’ve done a little!) we knew we had to get her! However, with the kimono version she just looked so pretty and it sort of reminded us of our Japan holiday too from January 2020. I’m already unsure where she’s going to go once she arrived, but I’m tempted to have her in the office so I can look at her whilst I work. She’s due to arrive in February! Would you guys like to see her reviewed on my blog or Instagram page? Let me know. πŸ™‚

  • Pin & Tonic Sakura Fox T-Shirt (link)

Pin & Tonic is an independent UK artist/store that I’ve always seen floating around social media in the past and eventually followed. I recently got wind of their fox and tanuki/raccoon designs AND a sale on their store, so I went to check them out. I stumbled across this sakura fox t-shirt and have fallen in love with the design! It’s the perfect mixture of my favourite animal, my favourite tree and sakura reminding me of Japan too! I would love to pick this up in the future, as it would be lovely to wear. The colours work so well!

  • Bravissimo Flora Bralette (link)

This is the final item on my monthly wish list and one item that has arrived. This is by far one of my favourite purchases of 2021 so far (spoiler alert, I’ll be talking about it in February’s favourites!) as it’s the most comfortable bra I’ve ever bought! I bought quite a few new bras at the start of 2021 as I knew I was due some new ones, I opted for an old favourite, as well as a new design. I love both, but since working from home wearing a bra all the time is something I’ve… Not… Done… Just being honest! I’ll be honest, I’m not a small busted lady anymore so sometimes my boobs just need a break from the wire, especially if I’m sat at my desk all day and potentially slumping and uncomfortable etc. I’d heard nothing but good things about non-wired bras, but never understood the appeal. I decided to get one myself after seeing good reviews about the flora bralette from Bravissimo. It’s amazing and when payday comes at the end of the month I will be buying another. I’m not going to talk too much here as I want to talk more about it at the end of the month. πŸ™‚

Anyhoo, those are the items I have on my wish list for February! As I’ve said various times throughout this post, I am on a spending ban this month so I’m going to be good. I may even continue it into March, but that won’t stop me from creating another wish list next month! πŸ˜€

What do you all have on your wish lists for February? Make sure to let me know in the comments below!

Until next time all, take care and stay safe. πŸ™‚
