February Wish List ’20

It’s that time of month again where I share with you guys what items I have on my wish list for the month!

Well… After an amazing 2 weeks in Japan last month, I REALLY did struggle to add stuff to my wish list for this month. It wasn’t easy and I had to have a big think about what items I would love to pick up for myself this month… Maybe… If I can afford it after Japan. I also booked my tickets for My Chemical Romance in June, so I am very much skint until payday at the end of the month. ๐Ÿ˜›

So please bear in mind, this list may be bland and boring… Or it might be exciting, we shall see!

  • Pandora Disney Lady and the Tramp Heart Dangle Charm (link)

There are no two ways about it, I NEED this charm for my Pandora! It’s funny that Dane bought me the Lady and Tramp charms from Chamilia for Christmas and then BAM, Pandora realise their own charm… Ha. Either way this dangle charm is really cute and perfect for Valentine’s Day, which is only a couple of weeks away now. I’ll definitely be treating myself to this charm, but probably not until payday towards the end of the month. I really hope to see more of my favourite Disney characters from Pandora in the future! A cute little Lucky dalmatian, anyone?

  • Persona 5 Manga Volume 1 (link)

I have been so bloody excited for this manga series to finally hit the UK and it did in January! I did pre-order this through Amazon but again (this isn’t the first time…) they failed to deliver my manga on time, even though other stores have this in stock. So instead I ordered from Wordery… I’m just going to go back to Wordery in regards to ordering my manga. They’re just so much more reliable. ANYWAY! I’m excited for this to arrive now so I can read it. I know I’ll be waiting ages for the volumes to hit the UK, but I don’t care – it’ll be worth it!

  • Mango Mom Slim Jeans (link)

I bought these jeans just before I went on holiday to Japan and oh my… They have really changed my life! ๐Ÿ˜› I know that sounds dramatic, but honestly I do love these jeans. I bought them a size bigger too after trying them on as I wanted some jeans that were mom style, but baggy and comfortable. These are clearly too big for me, so much so I need to wear a belt to keep them from falling down haha. This being said, I still love these and I already know I want to pick up another pair. I need to venture to town soon so I intend on picking up another pair of these then with some birthday money I still have in my purse.

  • FoxLeap Lady and the Tramp Lady Pups and Scamp and Angel Enamel Pins (link) and (link)

I’ve already pre-ordered these to be honest with you… I just had to. I love FoxLeap’s enamel pins and I especially loved the Lady and The Tramp one that I backed in their Kickstarter campaign last year (which you can see and read about here). The quality of the pin is amazing, let alone how gorgeous the design is. Lady and The Tramp is my favourite Disney movie, so I just had to order the Lady Pups and Scamp and Angel pins too… It would be rude not to! ๐Ÿ˜€ If you would like to see a review of these once they arrive, please let me know!

  • Nintendo Switch Animal Crossing Limited Edition Console (link)

Literally this morning as I write up this blog post (31st January), Nintendo FINALLY announced a Switch console to coincide with Animal Crossing: New Horizons. Fuck. I always said if Nintendo dropped an Animal Crossing Switch, I would buy… Of course I really want to buy this but Dane has a Switch and I have a Switch Lite… So it’s tricky. I keep thinking in my head how I could have it for at home in our bedroom to play games on – but the problem there is that you can have multiple saves across multiple consoles, which in itself sucks! I’m so badly torn as to whether to pick up this Switch or not. I love my Switch Lite and I definitely wouldn’t replace it. It’s light weight, easy to travel with and it’s cute! BUT I AM ALSO SO DAMN TORN! ๐Ÿ˜ฆ

I know this isn’t a long wish list this month, but honestly this is all I could think of! As I mentioned at the start of the post, due to just getting back from Japan I now own a LOT of stuff and I’m feeling the pinch a little due to it. However, there are still things I would love to buy come payday. ๐Ÿ˜›

What items do you have on your wish lists this month? Make sure to let me know in the comments down below.

Until next time all, take care and I hope you’re having a great week so far. ๐Ÿ™‚

29th Birthday Wish List

Well, it’s my last year in my 20’s after tomorrow and I don’t know how I feel about it yet, for various reasons. I guess when you have your birthday right after the New Year has started, you already feel like you need to make sure the year goes off with a bang, or you’ll just feel shit. This being said I don’t want to do a whole lot for my 29th… Why would I? My 30th is being saved up for all the fun times. ๐Ÿ˜›

I do have plans to go to Ghetto Golf with Dane and some friends for my birthday, which I’m excited for. It’ll be something nice and chill to do and I’m sure me and Dane will go for a meal afterwards too.

But for now before everything kicks off over the weekend, I thought I’d bring a post early this morning about items on my 29th birthday wish list. I doubt very much I have any of these things for my birthday and I’m fine with that. I honestly struggled to get this list together, but eventually I came up with loads of ideas. These will probably end up becoming gifts for myself in all honesty. ๐Ÿ˜›

See, this is the problem when you have your birthday right after Christmas. Making lists like this is pretty hard to do. ๐Ÿ˜›

But oh well, it’s only a wish list so let’s get on with it!

  • Killstar Trash Talk Jeans – (link)

These jeans are amazing and a style I’ve been after for the longest time! I probably would have ordered them in the sales but I was a tad on the worried side about sizing… I’d want to pick up the largest size possible to ensure that they fit me. Meh I don’t know, I’ll have a think about picking these up. If any stores have them in stock I would be there in a heartbeat to go and try them on!

  • Vans Checkerboard Classic Slip-On Shoes in Black and White – (link)

A shoe brand I have loved for over 10 years now is Vans. I bought my first pair when I was 16 and shortly after that I bought a pair of checkerboard ones in black and red. I remember seeing them online, but I couldn’t find them anywhere in Birmingham town centre. Eventually I found them in the Oasis Market and have loved them since then. Sadly the past few years they’ve been unwearable. They’re just that old. I don’t really need a new pair of Vans, but I would like an upgrade. I remember always wanting a pair of these when I was 15, so I’ll finally pick some up for myself tomorrow. ๐Ÿ˜›

  • Killstar Hades Skater Dress – (link)

This was a dress I planned on ordering in the sales, but I left it… Reason being that I wanted clothes that would be more appropriate for general and for work… Of course this wasn’t good for the latter! This is something I’d definitely love to pick up in the future as it looks so different! This being said, I think I’d be wary of picking it up in case it didn’t suit me. We’ll see what sales hold for it in the future!

  • Persona 4 Manga Vol. 2, 3 and 4 – (link), (link) and (link)

My best friend Gabriella bought me Vol. 1 of this manga for my Christmas/birthday last year and I’m so glad she did as I’ve honestly fallen in love with the manga and keep craving to read more! I can never find this in stores to buy on 3 for 2 offers you find in Forbidden Planet’s. I have quite a bit of manga I need to catch up on at the moment, so I intend to have a good reading session over the weekend and when I have spare cash, I’ll continue to read Persona 4!

  • Nintendo Switch Taiko No Tatsujin Collectors Edition Game – (link)

This is something that I actually thought Dane might have bought me for Christmas and a small fraction thought he may have for my birthday too, but I highly doubt the latter is the case now. It’s not cheap, as you’ll see if you follow the link… It’s almost ยฃ100… OUCH! I tried the demo of this game and rather liked how it played, as well as the look of it. I’d want to play it on the drum however, as I feel like it would make it more fun to play! Even if I don’t get this collectors edition in future, I definitely want to pick up the game! ๐Ÿ˜€

  • Killstar Cursula Velvet Flats – (link)

Finally we have some more shoes. I really want to invest in a nice pair of flat shoes for work and general and although I’d seen a few I rather like the look of, I REALLY love these! They’re a velvet look to them with mermaid scales etched in. These would be great to have for work throughout every season, and especially nights out for drinks as they’re smart casual. They’re not cheap however, so I’d wait for sales again.

So as short as this wish list is, that’s all the items on my 29th birthday wish list! I would have added a Nendoroid but I honestly can’t think of any that I would have received… Is that weird? xD

Even a monthly wish list this month would have been super boring! By the way, those will resume as normal on the 3rd February.

How’s 2019 going for you so far? Make sure to let me know in the comments!

Until next time all, take care and I hope you have a lovely weekend.

Christmas Eve Shopping!

As many of you will know (or might not if you are hiding under a tinsel covered rock) Christmas sales start early now, instead of starting Boxing day they now start Christmas Eve. Soon they will start in October! It’s my day off work, so whilst lying in bed watching a movie I decided to order myself a few goodies from the sales. I tell a teeny lie there as I have one item here that wasn’t sale, but I saved ยฃ26.00 on it. I’ll go into more detail on that.

As well as what I have managed to pick up so far (which isn’t much but my bank account is crying) I’ll also be sharing some things I hope to pick up in the next couple of days.

The top row is items I have bought, and the bottom items I hope to pick up. Enjoy!

Boxing Day Sales

  • Topshop Two-in-One Cord Playsuit – ยฃ60.00 (link)

I’ve been after this playsuit since my holiday, as I saw it being advertised in a magazine. I just fell in love with it, and knew I had to have it. When I got back to the UK I searched for it online and had zero luck, it sold out pretty quickly due to it being worn by a singer (can’t remember her name, nor the band she sings in) as well as by a model (again don’t know her name). So when I was out doing some last Christmas shopping last weekend I asked in Topshop if they had any in stock, to which I was told no, and there wasn’t any left in Birmingham either. Gutted! I was just browsing this morning online and I found it! In my size! Sadly this isn’t in the sale, but I do have my student discount which saved me ยฃ6.00, as well as a ยฃ20.00 gift voucher from a customer at my old job gave me as a leaving present, so I snapped this beauty up for just ยฃ34.00! I’m so glad I have managed to pick this up! This being said, there are a lot of negative reviews about this, mostly to do with the zip being faulty… I’m hoping I’ll be lucky and be sent a decent one. If not this will either need to go back, or I’ll have to fix it myself. Either way a very pissed off Nat will be down to Topshop! I really want 2016 to be the start of me dressing up again, as lately I haven’t given much of a damn, just throwing on a pair of baggy jeans,ย a baggy t-shirt, baggy hoodie, and my Vans. Which isn’t necessarily a bad look, and I feel lovely wearing this… But I always gain loads of compliments when I dress nice. So why the hell not? I hope to have my first 2016 lookbook featuring this dress, for my birthday.

  • Boots Yankee Candle Large Jar in Christmas Eve – ยฃ10.99 down from ยฃ21.99 (link) (Yankee Candle link)

I’m just going to quickly vent some mild frustrations at this purchase… Yankee Candle’s UK website actually have this down at ยฃ8.80 in the sale… It isn’t much money no, but still it is annoying. However, this isn’t annoying if you want to pick up this deal, as Boots have sold out! Yankee Candle still have some of these left which is good. It was a choice between Christmas Eve, Christmas Cookie, or Snowflake Cookie. I know I have one of the last two for Christmas as I got my boyfriend to choose which one I was going to buy. I cannot wait to burn this now, I’ve been after it for years!

  • The Body Shop Africa Ximenia & Salt Scrub – ยฃ7.50 down from ยฃ15.00 (link)

I quickly went past this whilst browsing what The Body Shop had on offer in their half price sale. I need a new body scrub so I thought I’d have a look over it. I recently bought a peach and lemon body scrub from The Body Shop and it is safe to say, they were rubbish! The lemon one somehow got into my hair and ruined it for about a week! Leaving it feeling like it was constantly full of hair gel. Not impressed! So I checked out the reviews for this one, and they were all positive, so I added it to my basket! It comes in a really lovely resealable jar too, which I’ll be using to make my own coffee body scrub in future.

  • The Body Shop Frosted Plum Shower Gel – ยฃ2.00 down from ยฃ4.00 (link)

I really like The Body Shop shower gels, they’re a real treat for me so whenever they have their shower gels on sale I always pick one up. Frosted Plum is a scent that has appeared back for Christmas after a long time of being M.I.A. and I cannot wait to try it. I don’t think I’ve given it a sniff in store either, which is a surprise to me, especially seeing as I’ve been into The Body Shop loads recently. This will be nice to use for winter before work.

These are some of the things I’m hoping to pick up when they go into the sale, or what I’m still contemplating picking up.

  • Lush Sweet Christmas Gift Set – ยฃ35.50 – not yet in the sale (link)

This was on my Christmas wish list so I’m keeping fingers crossed that I’ll get it, but even if I do I’m hoping I’ll manage to grab one (or maybe two) in the Christmas sales at Lush, alongside some other bits and pieces. I pretty much want everything in this box. It contains: Magic Wand Reuseable Bubble Bar, Rose Jam Bubble Bar, Yog Nog Bath Bomb, Luxury Lush Pud Bath Bomb, Tooth Fairy Tooth Powder, The Comforter Shower Cream, and Snow Fairy Shower Gel. Alas if I don’t pick this up, I’ll be buying some other goodies instead: Snow Fairy Shower Gel (the BIGGEST bottle!), Salt and Peppermint Bark Shower Scrub, Yog Nog Bath Bomb (at least 5!), Star Dust Bath Bomb, Bar Humbug Bubble Bar, Christingle Body Conditioner, So White Bath Bomb (at least 5 again!), and Father Christmas (again, at least 5!). Realistically I don’t want to be buying THAT much, or spending that much either really. I’ll be picking up what I can, and whatever I think will last me until next year.

  • eBay Baggy Cargo Pants – ยฃ29.99 (link)

When I was a teenager and starting to really come out of my shell and discover who I was, my fashion tastes developed quickly too, and I always wanted a pair of baggy cargo jeans. The rocker and alternative girls at school wore them, and I wanted to as well. My parents reused to buy me such jeans, but my brother bought me a pair, Levi’s too! I wore them for years, but as I got older I lost a lot of weight and they didn’t fit me anymore. Not just that they were battered from wearing them so much. I would love to own another pair for lazy days to pair with a tight fitted t-shirt. The next two I’ll be talking about would go perfect with this pair of pants. Also, I know these aren’t a sale item, but meh… It’s my blog! ๐Ÿ˜›

  • New Look White Stripe Contrast Trim T-Shirt – ยฃ5.00 down from ยฃ9.99 (link)

This t-shirt reminds me of something from the nineties. It also reminds me of Ernie from Sesame Street, and I don’t know why! This would look great dressed up and down! For ยฃ5.00 I can see me picking it up, as I could do with some new t-shirts. I find myself gravitating to the same ones and I wish to change that.

  • New Look Black Ribbed Cold Shoulder Long Sleeve Top – ยฃ8.99 (link)

I have been after a t-shirt like this for YEARS! Only now have I managed to find one exactly how I pictured it in my mind. The only problem I have with cold shoulder tops is if you don’t have an awesome top arm tattoo to show off it renders it pointless… But alas I still want one and even though it isn’t sale, I can see me buying this too. ยฃ8.99 is a pretty good price for what it is to be fair.

So that was my choices and purchases for the Christmas sales! I also cannot believe it’s Christmas Eve. This Christmas has passed us by really quickly and soon enough it’ll be the New Year!

Have you picked anything up in the sales? Make sure to let me know in the comments.

Until next time, take care all and have a MERRY CHRISTMAS!

June Wish List 2015

June is quite a nice month. It’s the month me and my boyfriend celebrate our anniversary, and also the month where summer begins. It’s also the sixth month of the year, which means we’re officially halfway through 2015. That’s pretty scary, isn’t it?

I won’t lie when I say this wish list was hard to put together. Most of the products on here I don’t really need, and I’m more lusting after. Some I will need shortly… Okay maybe one. Even though this is my wish list for June, I won’t buy two or three of them until probably after summer ends.

But a wish list is better than no wish list! Even so, I am on a spending ban as I was really naughty in May and need to save my money back up. Oh the joys!

  • Pandora Saint Bernard Charm.

I haven’t had my eye on many Pandora charms since I received my Seahorse charm for my birthday. I used to lust after that one all the time and now I have it, I’ve not really had anything to lust after. I decided to have a look on Pandora’s website recently to see what they had in new and I spotted this cute Saint Bernard charm. I love dogs and this charm looks so detailed and cute! My one Pandora bracelet has mostly animal charms on it, which I rather like, so I would like to keep this theme going. For ยฃ30.00 too, this is a pretty affordable charm.

  • OPI Nail Lacquer in Peace & Love & OPI.

This is a pretty old nail lacquer, two years old in fact. This came out in 2013 for the San Francisco collection and I recently stumbled upon it… Don’t ask me how as I can’t remember myself! But it is rather pretty and something I wouldn’t mind adding to my collection. It’s a grey based duochrome polish and on pictures has looked blue and purple, right up my street. I really want to sort out my nail polish collection by throwing away/selling a lot of my polishes and replacing them with better brands. I’ve found this on eBay relatively cheap too.

  • Neal & Wolf Ritual Daily Cleansing Shampoo.

I tried this shampoo nearly two years ago when I received a sample from a blogging event (you can read about that here). This is a sulfate free shampoo, something I’ve been after for a while now and as my Philip Kingsley shampoo is running low, I’ll be in need of something new soon. I’ve found a salon that sells this near me so in June I’ll be picking up the huge 950ml bottle! You can of course pick up a smaller size which is 250ml. I think this shampoo is also decently priced too with the larger bottle costing ยฃ21.50, only ยฃ10 more than the smaller size. This is a gorgeous shampoo and it made my hair feel amazing when I used it. It also smells divine! I can’t wait to pick it up. I have contemplated picking up the conditioner to start conditioning my hair, as when I tried that my hair felt amazing. I will have to see how I feel… I’m not a huge fan of conditioner…

  • Lush Rub Rub Rub Shower Scrub.

I have had my eye on this for as long as I can remember and I won’t lie when I admit that the colour of this product what was caught my eye. I love anything blue… It’s just not normal is it? ๐Ÿ˜› BUT when I went out shopping in May the shop assistant in Lush let me try this product out on my hands and it felt beautiful, and smelt just as good too. It’s a fine scrub that foams up as you use it with water and feels like it works rather well. Why didn’t I pick it up then? I was given so many samples in the store that I wanted to go away and try those before settling on something. But another reason was because the store was rammed and my poor boyfriend (who hates busy places and crazy women shoppers, like myself) was waiting outside for me and I’d been in there for at least half an hour looking at products. So to give him a break and some social interaction (how considerate am I, eh? :P) I left it. I will be picking this up in the future, but not until I use up my Soap & Glory Sugar Crush.

  • New Look Black Knee Ripped Skinny Jeans.

I mentioned some items I bought from New Look in May over on a haul post (here) and I had to return one of the dresses I bought as it was too big. I received a ยฃ10 voucher to use in store and as of yet, I haven’t. I’ve been into three or four different New Look stores since then and lusted after these jeans. I’ve wanted some new black skinny’s for a while now as mine are faded, but I’ve also been after some that are ripped. These look perfect to me and I would have bought them by now but in all honestly my confidence hasn’t been too great, and neither has my anxiety. So each time I have contemplated getting them, I leave it and look elsewhere. The one time I actually had the courage to try them on, the changing room had been closed. I was a very sad Nat. However, the next time I’m near New Look I’ll be trying them on! I’ve already planned what I can wear these with, including my new shoes, as well as my Adventure Time Dr Martens (post about them here) for in the autumn! These cost ยฃ24.99, but with my voucher they’ll only cost me ยฃ14.99. Bargain!

  • Lush You Snap The Whip Body Butter.

This is another product I tried out when I went into Lush for AGES. It was also something else I contemplated picking up, but I left it. This is something I have been thinking about buying since I first started using Lush in 2008. I first of all want it due to how amazing it smells, it contains cassis so it smells like blackcurrant. Also it’s called a body butter, but it does infact scrub the skin too. I tried this one on my hands too and whilst the shop assistant told me it’s the roughest of the body butters (WRONG! Buffy is!) it didn’t feel as rough as I thought it might. It also contains charcoal, which is great for the skin. I would probably use this on my face as well as my body. The reason I didn’t pick this up is I’ve heard so many complaints that it doesn’t last long due to it melting when in contact with the body and the shower… So I’ll wait a while to try this out. It’s a shame I can’t get a sample of it really. I may ask when in store next.

  • Diesel Loverdose Red Kiss EDP.

I love Loverdose, it’s one of my favourite perfumes so whenever Diesel bring out a new one relating to it, I have to give it a sniff! I tried Loverdose Tattoo and I didn’t like it, which I was sad about. However when I tried Loverdose Red Kiss, I LOVED it. It reminds me of an old limited edition version of Jean Paul Gaultier Classique (back in 2004, I still own the perfume but have hardly used it!) and it just reminds me of when I was a teenager. I still have the card for it by my bed and it still smells amazing. I have been so tempted to buy this various times but I’m leaving it… I’ll wait until I feel the need to treat myself. I can’t even describe the scent though… Sweet yet somewhat floral and fruity. Perfect if you don’t actually like the original Loverdose!

So that’s my wish list for June. It’s my anniversary in less than a week. I’ve bought my boyfriends present and he’s bought mine. We both know what we have bought for one another… Although I may attempt to buy him a couple of little surprise pieces.

What’s on your wish list for June? Let me know in the comments down below!

Until next time, take care all.

Wednesday Wish List – New Look

It’s not officially spring and what are you meant to do during this season? Spring cleaning! The first time in God knows how long, I actually did a little bit of spring cleaning. I started on my wardrobe and I found so many pieces of clothing that I hadn’t worn in years and wouldn’t wear again, as well as pieces that I have missed wearing.

As well as that, with the weather getting a little better I’ve started wanting to wear dresses and skirts more than my jeans and Victoria Secret pants. However when I did try some on last week I felt like I shouldn’t have bothered, as so many of my dresses either didn’t fit right, were too big in some places and small in others, or just looked horrible.

It did make me feel like shit to be honest and I think you need new clothes when you try on multiple pieces of clothing and hate them all.

So I think it’s time to sort my wardrobe out, there’s nothing worse than wearing the same clothes day after day and week after week. I’m meant to be saving at the moment but the odd piece of new clothing every now and then won’t hurt.

So I had a huge mooch around New Look’s website to see what I could get nice for spring, as well as summer.

  • Rust Stripe Print Crop Top – ยฃ7.99.

I was having a nose on New Look’s website and what trends were out for S/S 15, and this was one of the main ones for the 70’s trend. This would look lovely with some high-waisted mom jeans, as well as a high-waisted skirt or shorts. Of course I’d pair these up with my Star Wars Vans or my Chelsea boots. I won’t lie when I say I don’t have the best stomach in the world and I don’t have the confidence to wear cropped clothing because of it. BUT I want to start trying to be comfortable with my body and I think daring to wear things like this will make me better. If I really don’t feel confident one day I could always pop a vest or long-sleeved thermal t-shirt underneath. Plus at ยฃ7.99, this is a really good price! It’s dead set on the 70’s trend that is out for spring and summer this year.

  • Black Open Shoulder Swing Dress – ยฃ14.99.

I’m after some new dresses but not just ones I can wear in spring and summer. I’d like some I can wear all year around. I’ve been after an open shoulder dress for years and they’re never that nice to be honest. However I do really like the look of this one. It’s simple and black, a colour you can wear all year around and accessories with pops of colour. I also like how it’s a swing dress as I find with this style of dress it hides my tummy, which on days where I’m not feeling so great *cough* bloated *cough* it means I can cover up my belly and still look nice. I could dress this up with all sorts of things. My fake leather jacket, some flats or maybe even boots. It would be nice to wear during the summer without tights on a night out, or maybe even some patterned or coloured tights.

  • Green Check Contrast Chiffon Sleeve Collared Dress -ยฃ22.99.

This is probably the biggest thing I would like off of this wish list and something I may even have a look for and buy before the end of the week. It’s a gorgeous green checkered dress with sheer cream sleeves, perfect for any season! It looks very straight cut though and due to being curvy I don’t think this will look that great on me when it comes to trying it on. I also really like the collar on this dress, as that is something I have always been a sucker for when it comes down to dresses with them on. On the model this looks quite short, so I’m hoping it wouldn’t be the same issue with me. I’d team this up again with my fake leather jacket, as well as with some boots and flats. In the summer this would look great with a chunky pair of sandals for a grunge look!

  • Black Contrast Collar Skater Dress – ยฃ19.99.

This dress is gorgeous! It’s the perfect shape for my body and it looks beautiful with the white-collar. I love skater dresses, they just compliment my figure and in turn make me look and feel good. This is in black, which of course will work with everything and anything like the black swing dress too. This looks really short on the model and when I was showing these pieces to my boyfriend he commented on the same issue too. Like the swing dress too, I’d team this up with some patterned or coloured tights, as well as my boots or flats. I have two dresses similar to this one, but due to them both being from cheaper high street stores, they’re starting to see their last days now. So this would be a perfect replacement for both of them.

  • Blue High Waisted Ripped Skinny Jeans – ยฃ24.99.

I would love a pair of high-waisted jeans and for a while I wanted a pair of mom jeans, but I don’t even think these are in style and being sold anymore. These are also ripped at the knee, another look I’ve always wanted but never really bothered to pick up. New Look jeans are pretty good and if I did want to plan an outfit I would try the crop top alongside these, as they’d look great teamed up with a jacket or cardigan, as well as my Star Wars Vans. I would like some new jeans, especially ones I can style up as a majority of my jeans are very “skater” looking and what you would team up with skate shoes and not really much else.

  • Wide Fit Black Patent Studded Side Loafers – ยฃ17.99.

I really need some new flats and I haven’t been able to find anything that I really like. I’ve owned my current pair since 2012 so I’m in need for a new pair as soon as possible. I searched for “studded” in New Look’s search bar and when these came up in the results, I was pretty happy about it. They’re studded loafers and look really comfortable and nice. My shoe size changes when it comes to flats and I often go down a size so I would need to go in store and try these on. They are on the expensive size, but I don’t mind paying this much for shoes if they’re going to be a good fit and feel good too.

So that was my wish list from New Look.

I really want to start doing a wish list Wednesday’s post. Would my readers like this? If so let me know in the comments.

Until next time, take care all!

Birthday Wish List

As it’s my birthday tomorrow, I thought I would post a birthday wish list here! I’m actually out for my birthday today with my boyfriend, as he couldn’t get tomorrow off work to celebrate my actual birthday, but we shall FaceTime in the evening where we can talk about things, such as how our days have been so far, as we always do.

A lot of this stuff is things that may have been ordered for me (dress and skate shoes) and things I may have been bought by loved ones already without me knowing, but either way this is my wish list and even if I don’t get this stuff, I won’t care as Christmas just proved what lovely things my family, friends and my boyfriend buy me.

I’m really excited for my birthday and at this moment in time I’m probably having one of the best birthday’s I have ever had, but at this moment in time I am just sat in bed, writing up this post with a cup of peppermint tea and Let’s Play Minecraft on my iPad.

So, let’s get on with the post!

Birthday Wish List

  • Pandora Charm(s).

This isn’t on the image above but that’s because they have a post all of their own, here on the Pandora Wish List post I made for them. Due to my boyfriend being such a cutie, he hacked my wish list and typed at the bottom how he had actually bought me one of the charms on my wish list, but of course I will probably have to wait until this evening to find out which one he has bought me. I am rather excited! I know my Mom and Dad have both said they want to buy me some charms and asked for my wish list so that they’ll know which I would like, of course they knew which charm my boyfriend has bought me too. So maybe I’ll have more than one charm, who knows!

  • Red Panda from Build A Bear.

Me and my boyfriend spotted these cute little guys in Build A Bear and as he has always wanted to make one himself and I call him my Red Panda, it seems like the best time to finally go and make one together! We both looked at all the clothes we could dress him up in when we ventured into Build A Bear after Christmas whilst we were sales shopping and both decided that we would go back there to make a Red Panda for me to keep. I know my boyfriend won’t have got me one of these in time for my actual birthday but I’m hoping once he’s back from his holiday that I’ll be able to go with him so we can make one together!

  • Eileena Jumper from Animal.

I mentioned this a few months ago in a wish list post and I still want this jumper! It’s currently in the sale for ยฃ32.00, down from ยฃ45.00. It isn’t much of a saving to be fair but I do really want it. It’s a gorgeous red jumper with a fox on the front of it and when I went into town before Christmas with my boyfriend we had a look in Animal at the jumper, as he hadn’t seen it before. I tried it on and it felt lovely and soft and something that I could snuggle up in! I would wear this with the black skater skirt I bought from Topshop, which you can see in my sales haul post. I’m hoping the price of it lowers soon as I really want it but ยฃ32.00 still seems like a lot of money to me.

  • Sticker Jeans from Element.

Since my boyfriend introduced me to Two Seasons I have gone mad looking at what they have for offer in their sale and I stumbled upon these jeans on their website in the sale. I’m after some new jeans as I’m a tad bored with the pairs I have at the moment and I think these would look great with my Chelsea boots and a jumper to keep me warm. They’re ยฃ30.00 in the sale, down from ยฃ60.00! I think they’re gorgeous and I love the effect on the top of the thigh. I would rather prefer some boyfriend jeans mind, as I love my baggy jeans on lazy days.

  • Fearne Cotton Velvet Swing Dress.

I already have this dress as I’m wearing it today but it was on my wish list for my birthday or Christmas present for quite a while but my Mom offered to buy it me for my birthday present and I’m wearing it today. I’ve teamed it up with some thick black tights to keep me warm, my Chelsea boots and I’m still trying to decide which coat or jacket to wear with it. It’s a gorgeous dress and I know I’ll wear it quite a lot over the winter season. I love the colour purple too and as this is a swing dress it has a weird cut to it. The sleeves are tight, but not too tight. I find them comfortable but I know a lot of people who haven’t, judging by their comments on the website my Mom ordered this from. I’ve never been a fan of the cut of swing dresses as I find they make you look bigger than you actually are, but at the same time I hate my tummy and hips/love handles, which this dress does a good job of. I have wanted a new velvet dress for quite a while so this was a perfect buy and it gets better, this was meant to be ยฃ49.00 but my Mom snapped it up for ยฃ29.00! Bargain!

  • DC Court Graffik Vulc Se Women’s Skate Shoes.

On Christmas my Mom asked me if I wanted some new trainers, as my Vans were starting to look worse for wear and that I could do with having some new ones. To be fair they are nearly 10 years old and I have started to notice that if I go out in them when it’s raining, my feet get soaked and soggy feet isn’t a pleasant thing, especially when it’s cold! So I told her I would have a look online for some new ones and I found these gorgeous DC ones! My boyfriend has quite a few pairs of DC trainers and lust after his black and purple pair all the time, telling him how much I want a pair of his for myself. These babies are pretty cheap in the sale at ยฃ30.00 down from ยฃ60.00 so I’ve ordered them and my Mom has been kind enough to offer to pay for them for me as a birthday present. I can’t wait for them to arrive so that I can start to wear them with my boyfriend jeans. I love my lazy days with trainers and DC’s are pretty great quality, from owning a pair before.

I think that’s pretty much everything from my birthday wish list! It wasn’t ever going to be a long list because I don’t really mind what I get for my birthday as it’s always the thought that counts, isn’t it?

I’ll be writing and posting about my birthday anyhoo especially after today as well as tomorrow if I do anything for it, but chances are I’ll probably stay in bed, or maybe venture out for a walk, we shall see!

Either way I’m excited for my birthday tomorrow and I haven’t been excited for a birthday for quite a long time.

I hope everyone’s had a good weekend, I know I will be!

Until next time, take care all and see you soon!

What I Wore (5th October 2013) *BONUS SOPPYNESS AT THE END!*

Photo 1

Wow it’s been over two months since I last did a what I wore post and I can safely say I have missed doing these posts. The last one I did was during the summer and it was so hot the day me and my boyfriend went out that we wore next to nothing. Now the weather has completely changed and I’m finding myself snuggled up in baggy jumpers and bigger shoes.

During a weekend away at his we decided to go to a children’s farm to go walk around the countryside and see the farm animals that are kept there. I’d never been before and my boyfriend had wanted to take me for a couple of months now, so it was nice to finally be able to go.

We were meant to leave really early but we felt lazy and stayed in bed eating peanut butter Oreos and played GTA V Online, eventually we left to head to the farm, all snuggled up in our warm jumpers.

There will be a post about our trip to the children’s farm tomorrow and Wednesday so keep your eyes peeled for those if you wish to read them.

Anyhoo, on with the outfit I wore, these are by far the best pictures I have ever had taken of me for a what I wore post and they’ve been edited too so they look amazing! I want to thank my boyfriend for bothย  taking and editing these, he did such an amazing job and no matter what he does, I feel like the luckiest woman in the world right now.

As it seemed chilly out last weekend I decided to pop a beanie on, that and my hair wasn’t having one of its best days and we were in a bit of a hurry to go out. This hat is actually from the men’s section in Urban Outfitters and I bought it on one of mine and my boyfriends first dates, wearing it the day we got together. It’s lovely and warm and big enough to wear folded or unfolded. As I HAVE to wear glasses, I may as well mention that my glasses are by Versace and ultimate geek chic! I love them, won’t be replacing them for a while. The lipstick I decided to wear is Daddy’s Little Girl from the Archie’s Girls Collection by MAC, I wrote a review for this when I first bought it, which you can find linked above. I love this lipstick and I’ve been waiting for the colder months to come back so that I could wear these types of shades again!

I recently bought this jumper from New Look, infact the day before my October Wish List went live was the day I bought this as it went on sale from ยฃ24.99 to ยฃ12.00, so I tried it onย  in store and I decided to buy it. It’s so warm and soft that I’d have been stupid not to buy it! Also as regular readers will know, I love foxes so anything with foxes on that looks nice and fashionable I’ll snap up! This isn’t the most fashionable jumper in the world, but at the end of the day it’s snug, comfortable, warm and looks cute teamed up with a skirt or shorts, which is what I did for this look, as you can see. It’s a cream and burgundy colour so it’s definitely on trend with the autumn colours and I know it’ll be something I’ll wrap myself up in as the weather gets colder.

I’ve owned these shorts since I started university in 2008 so… 5 years now! They’re some of the most comfortable shorts I own and yet the smallest ones I own, size wise. They cost me ยฃ10 and with my 10% back when I was a student, I paid next to nothing for these! They go well with anything and everything, they fit comfortably and as well as that, they make my bum look awesome!ย  I love wearing these during the autumn season with baggy jumpers or a quirky t-shirt with a boyfriend cardigan. I know I’ll be wearing these quite a bit over the autumn season and with one of my boyfriends jackets or hoodies layered on top of a band t-shirt, it’ll make an outfit look rocker chic, no problem! They’re my favourite basic denim shorts and it’s a shame that I haven’t been able to find anymore like this since I bought them.

As regular readers will know, I love wearing my creepers as they’re comfortable, a great alternative to flats or boots and are the perfect item to grunge up an outfit. This is my second pair of creepers after my first pair wore through the bottom and whilst out walking one day I was left with soggy socks and thus very wet feet! To buy a pair of creepers now you don’t need to break the bank and a decent pair won’t cost you no more than ยฃ20, I paid that much for my first pair, ยฃ15 for this pair. I love the suede finish on my creepers and all black too. I would like some with studs but as of yet I haven’t found a pair I either like or feel worthy of paying the amount of money that they ask for. Either way I love brothel creepers and I wish they had been around for these prices when I was at school, I’d have worn then to school all the time!

These are my two favourite pictures from the day, the one on the left just looks like something you would see on a movie/TV poster or even a book cover and it just looks really nice. It looks natural too, as my boyfriend did pretty much say, “walk away from me for a bit.” to which he would follow me across the grass, towards the pond/lake. The picture on the right just reminds me of the awesome pictures I see fellow beauty and fashion bloggers getting themselves, and the type of thing I myself have tried to get since I started taking pictures for my what I wore section on my blog over a year ago. When I posed for this picture I didn’t think it was actually going to work, but it’s turned out exactly how I wanted it and not long after this image was taken, my boyfriend and I relaxed for a bit together in the field and then headed back to the car to go home.

I really loved today with my boyfriend and I’ll be excited for you guys to read the two adventure posts I have in store for you to read! We both had an amazing day and I can’t wait to share more days like this with him.

I definitely feel like the luckiest woman alive right now, I finally seem to have the type of boyfriend I’ve always wanted. Someone special, kind, who treats me well and the way I wish to be treated and who looks after me when I’m poorly. My mental health hasn’t been too great these past couple of months and my boyfriend has stuck by me through it all, which has meant a lot. Usually people can get scared with this topic and flee as soon as possible, which in the past a lot of people have done, whether they were a partner or a friend. On top of this he is a real cutie, even for a ginger nut! He has these cute little dimples that I just want to poke with my finger, is that weird? He also makes me feel good about myself when I’m feeling at my worst. Majority of the time I’ll be a typical woman and complain how “fat” and “ugly” I am and he just turns it right around like a good boyfriend should and tells me all the good points about myself, which is really nice.

A lot of shit has happened during 2013, but me and my boyfriend getting together is by far the best thing that has happened to me this year and I haven’t felt so happy in someone’s company for a very long time.

Once again I want to thank my boyfriend for taking these pictures of me today, as well as taking the time to edit them all for me too. I wouldn’t be able to make this and my last what I wore post(s) possible if it wasn’t for him.

Stay tuned in the future for my first video on my blog, which will be the boyfriend tag!

If you have any questions or comments on how I styled my outfit, please feel free to leave them in the comments down below!

Until next time, take care and I hope everyone had as lovely a weekend as I did.
