November Wish List ’17

Only this wish list now and the next two will be Christmas and birthday ones, how crazy is that?! I’m actually a mixture of excited and bleh about Christmas at the moment and sadly this is due to money issues. That being said due to that this months wish list is going to be full of stuff I won’t be buying… BOO YOU WHORE!

Due to this, this months list isn’t a big one either and I actually really struggled with putting it together. I honestly wish I had money… 😦

  • Yuri!!! On Ice Logo Cardigan – £41.99, currently £24.99 (link)

I eyed up this cardigan on Crunchyroll ages ago but I didn’t quite like the price of it, but recently I saw it for sale on EMP and not only would it work out cheaper due to no import charges, but also it’s on sale at the moment which is always a good thing! I nearly bought this a couple of weeks ago but left it due to lack of monies. I love Yuri!!! On Ice, it’s such a heartwarming and lovely anime so it’d be lovely to own a piece of merchandise from the anime. I especially love the little pork cutlet bowl on the bottom of it. They would be great for layering up during the winter months!

  • Kat Von D Sinner’ Lipstick & Fragrance Travel Duo – £24.00, currently £21.60 (link)

I’ve been after the Sinner liquid lipstick shade by Kat Von D as it’s a gorgeous dark purple shade but I don’t know if it’ll come out as it’s own shade, or if it’ll always be a little limited edition style shade that comes in this travel duo. I’m not massively after this set, just the liquid lipstick so I wouldn’t want to pay nearly £25.00 for it.

  • Ohayou Clothing! Sweet ‘Vee T-Shirt – £17.99 (link)

I love Ohayou Clothing! they’re definitely my favourite independent store right now and one I recently picked up a new varsity jacket from! It has a cute Umbreon on, which just makes me really happy. So when Chrissy came out with this kawaii Eevee design I just fell in love with it! She’s so adorable playing with her 3DS and eating Pocky! I’d love this design on a sweater instead, but I feel like this tee would have a lovely relaxed feel to it and would work perfect with leggings or tucked into a skirt.

  • Bershka Oversized Kurt Cobain Sweatshirt – £29.99 (link)

I saw this sweatshirt when I was in Fuerteventura and immediately fell in love with it! I didn’t buy it due to how heavy it was and also the fact that I could pick it up in the UK for the exact same price. It’d be great to wear with thick tights in the colder months and Dr Martens boots or even brothel creepers. I’d love to pick this up before my birthday to wear for then, but I may try and wait to pick it up in any sales… £30.00 is a decent price, but of course if I can get it cheaper, I’ll damn well try! 😛

  • Elodie The Unicorn Ramen Bowl – £24.99 (link)

When I saw that Firebox was stocking this ramen bowl I was seriously overjoyed! This bowl is by Smoko a company whose designs are so adorable and I would honestly buy them all if I could afford it! 😛 I remember eyeing up this bowl on their recent Kickstarter campaign, but due to how expensive it was going to cost me to buy AND ship the item(s) I wanted to back I left it. Now that Firebox is stocking it I know for a fact now that I can pick it up without worrying about paying loads of shipping as well as import! I love ramen and although I prefer to cook it “properly” it would be nice to have a cute little unicorn to eat it out of. 😛

  • Loungefly x Pokemon Eevee Mini Backpack – $78.00 AUS (link)

The final item on this list is the one I REALLY want but it is literally impossible to get right now… Not even due to money but because it would appear it’s an Australia exclusive… WHICH SUCKS! It’s hard enough being able to get hold of the Loungefly x Pokemon merchandise as it is, without making it even HARDER! So the only way I would get hold of this bag is by someone in Australia buying and shipping it over for  me… Which sadly won’t ever happen! It’s just an adorable little backpack in a mint green shade, which is covered in little Eevee’s! I love the Eeveelutions so you can’t really go wrong with this backpack if you’re a Pokemon fan!

So those are my wish list items for this month! I know it’s nothing exciting, but to be honest most of the stuff I want I’ve either spoken about or I’ve popped on my Christmas wish list for Dane… He’s my personal Father Christmas! 😀

What items do you have on your wish lists this month? Make sure to let me know in the comments down below.

Until next time, take care all and I hope you have a lovely weekend!

July Wish List ’17

Wow we’re not on month seven of the year! Officially over half way through now. Two months left until my holiday and hopefully more hot weather will be upon us too. It’s been gorgeous lately and I don’t want it to end… Well apart from at night when I want to sleep.

Speaking of my holiday I recently wrote a holiday wish list and I hate writing wish lists close together, but this one will be different… It’ll have a bit of everything on it. This being said I am on a spending ban for the holiday. I need to save up monies for it, otherwise I’ll have next to sod all to take with me!

This wish list was actually really hard to put together to be honest as whilst I often say, “OMG I WANT THIS! OMG I WANT THAT!” more often than not it’s not something I want that badly.

I have tried really hard with this list though and I hope you appreciate it. 😉

EDIT: I ended up searching Etsy and Redbubble for some ideas based on Persona 5, so yeah there’s lots of that stuff here! 😛 FUCK YOU REDBUBBLE! 😛

  • Kat Von D Beauty ‘Rock Candy Studded Kiss’ Lipstick Gift Set – £34.00 (link)

I have been eyeing up this lipstick gift set since it was released in April in America. It’s only recently come out in the UK, exclusively at Debenhams of course. They’re little miniature sizes of the studded kiss lipstick AND they’re limited edition colours. COME ON KAT MAKE THESE PERMANENT SHADES! You get six shades in here and all of them are my types of lip colours! From purples to pinks, there’s a shade in here for every occasion for me. I nearly ordered this last week but left it due to lack of funds. I am so damn tempted to order it though considering it’s limited edition. I think it’s a great price as well, even for miniatures. I’m already planning on at least getting them to take on holiday with me, as these are all the shades I would need, AND THEY’RE SMALL!

  • JennifairyW Cute Chubby Pokemon Espeon Charm – £4.00 (link)

I’m a massive fan of JennifairyW’s work as it’s just kawaii and cute! I’ve had my eye on all her Eeveelution charms for a while now but if I had to pick one it would be Espeon. I’d keep it on my car keys, maybe even eventually buy all of them to keep on my Pokemon handbag I recently bought (you can check that out here!). Either way check out her Etsy page, because her artwork is so damn adorable!

  • Persona 5 Joker Hardcover Journal by ClearClarity on Redbubble – £12.00 (link)

I am in love with Persona 5, like so damn much right now and it’s kinda creepy. I mean it’s not a bad thing to love something, but I haven’t fallen in love with something so much since Pokemon. So much so I went in search on Redbubble for some goodies I could get myself in the future. I stumbled across the artist/seller ClearClarity and their Persona 5 character artwork is beautiful and definitely the best I have seen to date. I want to buy EVERYTHING and display it in the house! My favourite character is Joker, who you play in the game. I have a little crush on him too! :’) BUT I wouldn’t mind getting a journal for Fuerteventura, or at least another one to go with my Cath Kidson 101 Dalmatians journal. I’ll definitely be getting this at some point before the holiday.

  • The Body Shop Precision Eye Massager – £8.00 (link)

I have the twin-ball facial massager by The Body Shop and it’s amazing! Although I bought it a year ago I’ve only recently been using it more than ever. I’ve been using it on my eyes too after using my eye gel to cool my eyes down and de-puff them. NOW The Body Shop has created a tool similar to this but specifically for the eyes, which is great! I want to get it when I get paid as I love using things like this on my eyes, especially with a cooling eye gel. I know Dane likes this too so he can’t complain about me spending my money on it. 😛

  • Persona 5 Morgana A-Line Dress by Kaluma on Redbubble – £45.00 (link)

This is pretty expensive for what it is and whilst I wouldn’t even pay this price for a Black Milk Clothing dress, I do love how unique this dress is and the design. AGAIN it’s Persona 5 related but this time it’s Morgana, the cat sidekick to Joker and the rest of The Phantom Thieves. I love how there’s a little Joker on Morgana’s head, so cute! I doubt I would buy this to be honest due to how expensive it is, but if I had some spare cash and I fancied treating myself, this would be in the cart! This would especially be nice to wear on hot days and holidays with some sandals.

  • Plushishop Pinky & Blue Mew Pokemon Notepads – £8.13 (link)

I love notebooks, pads and journals so much and I have a small collection of them in the office. Most of them I save for “special” but most I also use to write random notes in for my blog and lists of things me and Dane need to do or buy. I would love one of these notepads to leave in my handbag to jot notes down, especially when I get blog ideas and want to write them down! Out of the four I found the Mew themed one to be the cutest, especially considering the designer also included the blue Mew, how cute! 😀

  • Persona 5 Joker Art Print by ClearClarity on Redbubble – £10.91-£33.18 (link)

Me and Dane REALLY DON’T NEED anymore art prints for the house, as we can’t even decide where we want the ones we’ve owned for a year! Oh dear… >.< BUT I can’t resist the Joker print that ClearClarity has for sale… And to be perfectly honest I don’t know if I can resist the others either! I would love to get this to put up in the office. I’d love to have it in the living room but I don’t know if me and Dane would be able to mutually agree with that. I’d want to get the small prints and pop them all in one frame to create a sort of collage. We shall see what happens!

So those were my wish list items for July! It was incredibly hard for me to think of anything apart from the Kat Von D lipsticks and The Body Shop eye massager. I’m quite pleased I went and researched Persona 5 items on Redbubble mind, as I have discovered an amazing artist who I’m sure I’ll be buying from soon!

What items do you have on your wish lists this month? Make sure to let me know in the comments.

Until next time take care all and I hope you had a lovely weekend!

Kat Von D Beauty Everlasting Liquid Lipstick in Bauhau5 – Review

I have wanted to write this review the week after I first wore it but I decided to wait until 2017 to kick start off the year with an amazing review, because this one is going to be good! I haven’t fallen in love with a product for quite some time and it is safe to say that my Jeffree Star Cosmetics liquid lipsticks have been pushed aside a little since me buying this in November last year.

When I went to visit my friend Sophi in London I decided to visit the Oxford Street Debenhams store so I could swatch some of the Kat Von D liquid lipstick shades. I have always wanted Bauhau5 but never ordered it from people on eBay, or Sephora, or anything else like that. Well this shade was certainly worth the wait as since me buying it two months ago it has been my go to lipstick. I can’t wait any longer, I have to review this lipstick once and for all!

The first thing you need to know about Kat Von D Beauty if you’re from the UK is that it is FINALLY out for sale here! YAY! No need to use dodgy eBay sellers or paying the odds to get it shipped from America. However the only place you can buy it from is Debenhams. If you aren’t able to get down to the London Oxford Street Debenhams store to buy anything then do not worry, you can order online. WOOHOO! I decided to buy Bauhau5 from the store because I was down there anyway and I wanted to swatch a few shades to get an idea of what I would like to buy in the future from the Debenhams website.

As I have already mentioned (and the title… DUH!!!) I picked up Bauhau5 which is a deep raspberry shade. I have seen liquid lipsticks like this before, Masochist by Jeffree Star Cosmetics being one of them. However I wanted to try something by Kat Von D and this was the shade I had always been drawn towards. I love wearing my dark shades and especially my pinks, purples and reds. Raspberry pink is a definite win for me when it comes to lipstick thanks to my love of Rebel by MAC Cosmetics.

I love the packaging for Kat Von D as it just looks so gothic yet expensive and luxurious. The black packaging with silver roses definitely does this for me and what makes me even happier is that the pattern continues onto the product itself. As you can see the black and silver pattern is on the lid of the liquid lipstick, as well as some detailing on the tube itself.

The applicator is a doe foot like most liquid lipsticks and lip glosses these days and is to me on the small side, which I really like as not everyone has big lips so it means anyone with smaller or thin lips will be able to apply this all over without any worries of over lining or making a mess. The tube for Kat Von D’s liquid lipsticks are long, unlike Jeffree Star’s liquid lipsticks which are shorter. I’m never preferable length wise with the tubes, although I know a lot of people are. I don’t find it any harder or easier to apply with a longer or a shorter wand. I do like the size of Kat Von D’s liquid lipstick though as I find the length of it looks nice and slick, especially as you take it out of a glitzy handbag on a night out. This does also have a scent which I was rather surprised by! I thought it would be scentless to be honest but I am really pleased about the scent as I find the chemical style smell with some liquid lipsticks I own puts me off. This one has a light scent which reminds me of vanilla and very much so reminds me of the smell that you get with MAC Cosmetics lipsticks.

I can’t compare to any other Kat Von D liquid lipsticks but this is very pigmented to me and it is a beautiful shade! I didn’t know what to expect before I swatched this in Debenhams but I was surprised at what a gorgeous colour it was and by how creamy it felt when applying it to the back of my hand.

Due to the public Twitter and YouTube arguments that happened between Kat Von D and Jeffree Star I feel like I am sounding like I am siding with one or the other (I’m not I don’t give a shit about all that rubbish!) but I found when applying this to my lips and wearing it that it felt more comfortable than Jeffree Star liquid lipsticks. They’re both comfortable, don’t get me wrong but I found due to the creamy texture of Kat Von D’s liquid lipsticks that this felt like I was just wearing a lip balm rather than a lipstick.

I don’t feel like I need to apply a lip liner with this as it’s a thick enough consistency that I can take my time and line my lips. However with Jeffree Star’s liquid lipsticks I find the majority of his shades are watery in consistency and can be a bit more fiddly when applying without a lip liner as a guide. This being said I do feel that I use more of the Kat Von D liquid lipstick over than Jeffree Star liquid lipsticks due to the texture of them.

The true test of a liquid lipstick for me is the staying power. I never ever have a problem with this staying on my lips and I always get lovely compliments on it due to that. It lasts the same amount of time as all my liquid lipsticks do, which is great!

Just a reminder that all liquid lipsticks this will get worn away if you are in contact with any food (or possibly drinks) that contain oil. This lasts throughout my shift at work too, only budging on my lunch break when I grab something to eat, which of course is perfect!I do find if you reapply this however you can tell a little bit when looking close up that you’ve reapplied which I can’t say as I liked but meh nothing that can’t be solved with another coat all over the lips.

I of course used the “kiss” and “finger” test to show off that this product doesn’t come off when in contact with anything, and everyone I have shown it to has been impressed, especially my boyfriend who hates being covered in lip shaped kisses.

I do find that Bauhau5 does stain a little but nothing a couple of cotton pads soaked in make up remover won’t fix!

I’ve swatched Bauhau5 above Jeffree Star Cosmetics Masochist.

In good There Might Be Coffee spirit when it comes to reviewing lipsticks, I have to show off my mug wearing them! Dane bought me a selfie ring light for my phone so I’m using that today to show off the colour, woop woop!

So what do I think of the Kat Von D liquid lipsticks? I think they’re fucking amazing! Excuse my language but I love them so damn much. They’re creamy, comfortable to wear, long lasting, reasonable price wise to buy and come in loads of lovely different shades. I don’t want to own all the shades but I want to own the majority of them to be honest. Whenever I go out somewhere nice for the day or I fancy looking good I always go to Bauhau5 as it’s one of my favourite shades to wear and it just feels and looks great when on. This is the sort of colour I will wear all year around, especially in the summer. If you’re after a shade which will get you out of your nude and pale pink comfort zone then I would say go for Bauhau5 as it’s definitely a shade that will suit everyone.

If you want to pick up this or any other shade of liquid lipstick by Kat Von D then here is the link to Debenhams. They cost £16.00 each which I think is a reasonable price. Sadly in store it is only available at the Oxford Street store right now, but I heard that more stores in the UK will be stocking it at the start of this year. AHH EXCITING!

Like I do with the Jeffree Star Cosmetics I’ll be saying at the end of this post which three Kat Von D liquid lipstick shades I want to pick up next!

Mother – A cool pink. (Temptalia review)

L.U.V. – A warm purple.  (Temptalia review)

Nocturna – A deepest grape.  One of the new shades recently revealed and I LOVE IT.

So that was my review! What do you think of Bauhau5 and the Kat Von D liquid lipsticks? Do you own any yourself, if so which shade(s) and what do you think of it/them?

Until next time take care all and I hope you’ve had a great week so far.

27th Birthday Wish List

Yes in 3 days time it will be my birthday and I will be turning 27… Oh age really is creeping up on me! I’m not going to moan though, I hate when people do shit like that. What I especially hate younger people asking how old I’ll be to turn around and say after my reply, “OH MY GOD YOU ARE SOOOOO OLD!!!” Urgh just shut the fuck up. Sorry to sound very negative but I hate younger people being so ignorant as to say things like this. 😛

With a birthday comes gifts and presents (if you’re as lucky as myself and many others. Some people sadly don’t get gifts and presents on their birthday…) from various different people and whilst I’m not the type to say, “I WANT THIS FOR MY BIRTHDAY!” I will direct people in the right direction if they aren’t sure what to get me, especially Dane although this year  he seems to know what to get me as he’s ordered majority of my presents.

So here is my wish list for my birthday this year! It’s got some geeky stuff on as well as some beauty related goodies and jewellery.

  • Pokemon Center Vulpix Pikachu Crossover Plushie in Normal Form – £25.50 (link)

I know I always post about Pokemon Center plushies that I want and lust after but this is one that I REALLY want! It’s an adorable Pikachu dressed up as Vulpix, who is one of my favourite Pokemon. This also comes in the new Aloha form but I prefer the original. I don’t think I’ll be getting this for my birthday as it doesn’t come out until the start of February but as soon as I get paid next week I’ll be ordering one myself. ^_^

  • Your Lie In April manga volume 2 – £8.99 (link)

This is a new manga and anime I have gotten into lately and I really do love it! I read volume 1 as soon as I was given it by Dane as an early Christmas present and I can’t wait to read more of the manga to be honest. The anime is really good and although the manga and anime are meant to be aimed towards men I find that women can watch it too. The anime is currently on Netflix but it is in Japanese with English subtitles. I’ll pop a trailer up so you can watch it!

  • Kat Von D Beauty Everlasting Liquid Lipstick in shade Mother – £16.00 (link)

I love Kat Von D’s liquid lipsticks and I was so glad to get my first one (Bauhau5) in November from the Oxford Street store when I went to visit my friend Sophi. Since then I have craved to buy more but I’ve been good so far. Even if I don’t obviously get an actual liquid lipstick for my birthday some vouchers for Debenhams would be great so I can pick up a couple of shades. Mother is a gorgeous rose pink shade which I would love to pick up for when spring and summer are here.

  • South Park : The Fractured But Whole Mysterion figurine – £39.99 (link)

Dayyyyum this is something I really want but I know I won’t be getting… Sad times. Me and Dane love South Park and as soon as I saw this on Forbidden Planet’s website I wanted it. We’ve also seen it in the Forbidden Planet store in Birmingham and it looks amazing! He’s 6 inches so he’s huge as well. We nearly ended up buying it New Years Eve when we went out shopping but left it due to being on a spending ban… 😦 I’m sure we’ll buy it as a treat in the future. We already know where we would put him in the house, on the fireplace! 😀

  • Thomas Sabo Fox charm pendant – £25.95 (link)

As I mentioned on my Christmas natter post recently my parents gave me a Thomas Sabo charm bracelet for Christmas, which I love! I know my brother is buying me some more charms for it for my belated Christmas and my birthday present combined and this is one of the charms I showed him. As regular readers of my blog will know I love foxes so this is right up my street! I love how simplistic but gorgeous it is.

  • Lime Crime Diamond Crushers Liquid Lipstick in shade Trip – £13.95 (link)

I’m not a huge fan of Lime Crime due to the controversy surrounding them but the past year they seem to have somewhat bettered themselves. That and my friend Claire has told me nothing but good things about the liquid lipsticks… I trust her with make up gossip that’s for sure! I have loved the look of the Diamond Crushers since they were announced a while ago. Trip is my favourite out of the bunch, which is a beautiful blue lipstick topper, which you can also wear alone. I’d team it up with various different liquid lipsticks. It’s currently sold out on Love-Makeup but I’m going to keep my eye out for it in the future!

  • Pokemon Eevee Evolution water bottle  – £9.90 (link)

I thought I was going to get this for Christmas as Dane had shown it to me before ordering my presents, but alas he never. I don’t think I’ll be getting it for my birthday either. He insists that I don’t need anymore water bottles but I beg to differ! I love having water bottles for work, as well as for on the go and although I love my owl water bottle that I use for work, I’d love a Pokemon related one for work too to show off my inner geek! This one is pretty simple but I love that it’s purple. If I have some birthday money I might treat myself to it.

  • Jeffree Star Cosmetics Velour Liquid Lipstick in shade No Tea, No Shade – $18.00/£16.00 (link)

I decided that I’m going to calm down on my Jeffree Star liquid lipstick buying as I want to try out loads of other brands instead of just sticking to the same one. HOWEVER he announced this shade just before Christmas and I fell in love, hard!!! I can’t wait for it to come out on Beauty Bay this month because as soon as it launches I’ll be buying it. It’s a beautiful purple metallic shade and it’ll be perfect for autumn and winter seasons.

  • Thomas Sabo Bird charm pendant – £35.00 (link)

I know I’ll be getting this for my birthday as my brother told me he would get it for me. It’s a Christmas themed charm but I’d love it all year around. It’s call the bird charm but as you can see it’s a robin, which I love. They’re just such gorgeous birds and they always remind me of the winter season. It’s not a cheap charm however as it originally costs £70.00! OUCH! If however he doesn’t manage to get me this charm I’ll pick it up on my birthday as a treat to myself.

So that was my wish list for my 27th birthday! God I really am getting old and whilst at 27 you probably expect to see more adult present ideas on a post like this, you won’t find that with me. I am a big kid and even though I’ll soon be 30 I know I’ll stay that way for a very long time.

What kind of gifts do you like to receive for your birthday? Make sure to let me know in the comments down below!

Until next time take care all and I hope you had a lovely New Year.

November ’16 Favourites

Woohoo it’s now December and we are so close to Christmas. Honestly it’s going to be here before we know it. Then it’ll be New Year and then my birthday. JEEZ I’M GETTING OLD!!! But either way I am back on my blog after being absent for well over a week! I’ve either been too busy with life or too tired from it to do any writing for my blog. It would seem that when you move out life gets nothing but busy!

Well anytime is better than no time, so here is one of my last favourites posts of the year!

  • Australian Bodycare Skin Wash

I’ve loved using this shower gel for as long as I can remember and it’s one I go back to time and time again. It’s one that I often use if my skin has broken out badly, or if I’m feeling under the weather and need a pick up. Lately though I have had a horrible allergic reaction on my thighs and tea tree seems to be the only thing helping it (as well as Sudocrem). I always forget about how much I love this and I really want to try and pick up more of Australian Bodycare’s products next year.

  • Kat Von D Everlasting Liquid Lipstick in shade Bauhau5

I bought this last month and it has fast turned into one of my favourite liquid lipsticks! It’s just so damn comfortable to wear and it looks beautiful. I’ve wanted it for years so it was definitely worth the wait to pick up whilst I was in London. I’ll be writing a full review of it soon but it’s definitely the liquid lipstick I’ll be wearing throughout Christmas.

  • Blistex Triple Butters Lip Balm

Due to the cold my lips have really taken a beating and even at the moment they’re really sore and split various times. This is either from just neglecting to pop any lip balm on my lips for one part of the day, or due to wearing liquid lipsticks. SO I’ve been in the need of a rich and caring lip balm. I used to use Blistex a lot when I was younger and it did a great job, so I decided to pick some up recently. Boots had a 2 for £3.00 offer on all their Blistex range so I picked up an intense balm and this Triples Bitters lip balm. This smells amazing and it reminds me of white chocolate and strawberries. I LOVE it so much! I use it around the house when my lips feel dry but I may start using it for work too.

  • Garnier Skin Moisture Match Wake Me Up

Not only have my lips been super dry but so has the skin on my face. I find when I put my translucent powder on top of late that it would be showing up all the dry patches on my cheeks which was just off putting of course. So I dug through my beauty drawer and brought out this moisturiser. I’m so glad I did as it really did help to banish those dry patches on my cheeks which I was so pleased about. Recently I have gone back to my Clinique moisturiser which is my God send so now this will go back into my beauty drawer.

  • Bath & Body Works Cherry Blossom Body Spray

This is one of the many Bath & Body Works products that my friend Sophi brought back for me from her trip to America! She was very thoughtful and picked me up a couple of Cherry Blossom scented miniatures, including this body spray. Since she gave it to me I’ve used it most of the month before going to work. It smells lovely and will definitely be one I’ll use on warm summer days.

So those were my favourite products throughout November! What products did you love using last month? Make sure to let me know in the comments down below.

Until next time take care all and hope you’re having a lovely week.

November ’16 Wish List

Wish lists are getting harder to write now… You know why? Well Christmas is just around the corner and usually in November you stop buying things so that people get the chance to buy you something you want. Well that’s what I know me and a few of my friends do anyway…

Due to that this months wish list was really hard to write. I kept writing ideas down only to then think it would be better suited on my Christmas wish list next month. I eventually came up with some items but due to lack of funds, presents to buy for others and needing to give people ideas for myself this months list won’t be all that great. Sorrrrrrrry (not sorry :P).

  • Bee & Puppycat Vol. 3 – £12.25 (link)

This comes out at the end of the month and I am so damn excited! As Dane has Prime I always ask him to pre-order things for me so I make sure to get them in good time. As this is included on Prime I asked him to pre-order it for me recently. I love the Bee & Puppycat show so I love the comic books just as much! I just wish they would come out a little sooner and quicker though. I really love Bee and hope to cosplay as her at an event one day.

  • Lush Bubbly Shower Gel – £4.95-£16.50 (link)

I recently bought a little bottle of this when I went to the Lush Coventry beauty blogger event (you can read about that here) and since then I have fallen in love. I want to pick up a large bottle when I’m down in the Oxford Street store in a couple of weeks. It has a lovely fresh scent to it that reminds me of Fanta orange. I love to use it some mornings to perk me up. I’ll be reviewing it very soon!

  • Pusheen Self Stirring So Lazy Can’t Stir Mug – £12.99 (link)

I love Pusheen and there’s so much Pusheen stuff I want to get but it’s just about finding stuff I want to buy which I’ll ACTUALLY use! I wouldn’t mind this for Christmas really, as whilst I have a lot of cups and mugs in my cupboard I don’t have a Pusheen one and I definitely don’t have a self stirring one. This also comes with a lid so it’d be great for on the move like before work, on the way home from work, to the shops, etc etc. Also it’d be really nice to make hot chocolates in due to the self stir action.

  • Kat Von D Everlasting Liquid Lipstick in shade Bauhau5 – £16.00 (link)

I was meant to mention this on my wish list last month but I forgot! How dare I! I would have added this to my Christmas wish list next month as I would love at least some money to go and buy one of these myself. However as I am going down to London in a few weeks I may as well pick one up whilst I visit the first Kat Von D counter! That’s if there is any left… I really hope there are to be honest. I have my eye on Bauhau5, a raspberry pink shade. I’ve had my eye on it since I ever heard about the shade, so I know I want to pick it up eventually.

  • Pokemon TCG Dragonite EX Box – £18.99 (link)

I’m a Pokemon nerd through and through and I remember back in the day being obsessed with the trading card game. Me and my friends in my street would play the game all the time and spend our pocket money on new packets of the cards and open them together. That’s some of the nicest memories I hold and remember from a couple of summers during half term. I’ve recently decided that I want to start playing the games again and intend to start collecting the cards again next year. I saw this on a website being advertised and as Dragonite is one of my favourites, I fell in love! I hope to get this for Christmas, or as a treat beforehand.

  • The Pretty Reckless Concert Tickets (no picture added and prices vary depending where the show is held!)

I kind of have to include this on here because it is under my wish list and the tickets come out tomorrow! I’ll be ordering them when I finish work as I really want to go and see The Pretty Reckless live again. I’ve loved them since I saw them support Evanescence all the way back in 2011. I’ll be going with Dane and as of yet we haven’t been to a gig together yet so I’ll be excited to go. AHHH! 😀

  • Pokemon Moon on 3DS – £32.00 (link)

This is the final item I’ll be talking about on the list because it is the one I am most excited for! It is of course Pokemon Moon which I have been super excited for since it was announced. I recently got to play the demo for it which I really enjoyed and after seeing the three new starters final evolutions I am even more excited for it. I guess I’m just glad I only have a couple of weeks to wait for it. I’ll be pre-ordering it closer to its release date. I can’t wait for this! 😀

So that was my wish list for November. I know it was nothing special but I’ve saving all of that for next month and my Christmas wish list! I need to start putting a list together to give people ideas of what they could get for me. Might go and do that now… 😛

On that note, what do you have on your wish list for this month? Apart from plenty of money due to Christmas! 😛 Make sure to let me know in the comments down below!

Until next time take care all and hope you’re having a great week.

Claire’s Top 5 Red Lipsticks – Guest Post

20160224_151052_zpsjdjffxwm

Hey everyone! Claire from All Mouth, No Spoons back again with another guest post for the lovely Natalee – this time, I’m here to talk about my favourite red lipsticks! Who doesn’t love a good scarlet pout? As Game of Thrones’ Maisie ‘Arya’ Williams once noted, you can look like a total mess in every other way, but slick on a bit of red lipstick? No-one notices anything else. It can make that much of a difference, so everyone needs at least one in their lipstick arsenal.

The problem with red lipsticks? THERE ARE SO MANY TO CHOOSE FROM. And which one to go with? A true red? What’s a blue-toned red? Is it too harsh against pale skin? Does it last? Well, I can’t answer those questions, as I still don’t have these answers. But what I can give you, is my personal top 5 reds that make me feel like a silver screen siren who is also capable of kicking ass and taking names.

5. Max Factor Colour Elixir lipstick in Ruby Tuesday – £7.99 from Boots

I am a huge fan of the formula of Max Factor’s range of Colour Elixir lipsticks – I said in my previous post that the pampering qualities are very beneficial, especially during the cold winter months we’re in. This true red reminds me very much of Marilyn Monroe’s signature pout, it feels amazing and looks stunning, and even leaves a long-lasting stain despite eating and drinking through the day. It’s a bold look, but if you want to take the plunge then this is a good place to start!

(Also a little interesting thing to note – Max Factor recently launched their Marilyn Monroe collection of lipsticks in four shades that are said to ‘flatter any skintone’. As well as three new shades, Marilyn Ruby Red is the exact same as Ruby Tuesday so if you can’t grab one, there’s always the other.)

4. Clinique Lip Pop Lip Colour + Primer in Passion Pop – £16 from Boots

Another Lip Pop as in my Berry post – and as I said there, although this product claims to be a primer as well as a lipstick, it does fail to deliver on that promise. However, with a liner and primer, it’s a ruby colour that feels very comfortable on the lips. This was the second colour that I purchased and it’s definitely a staple in my collection. It’s a good colour to throw on when you’re on your way out for the day. I’ve even worn nothing BUT this lipstick, no foundation or mascara, and honestly it still made me feel ‘made-up’.

3. Kat Von D Studded Lipstick in Underage Red – $21 from Sephora

We’re STILL waiting for Kat Von D’s range of make-up to be available here in the UK, and buying off the Sephora website is not easy or cheap. I was lucky to get this through an exchange subreddit page from someone in the UK and I was eager to try it out. The case looks fucking awesome – if I’d had this lipstick as a 14-year-old rocker, I’d have felt like Brody Dalle. It’s a shame that the lid falls off so easily in my bag, though.

The lipstick itself has a gorgeous creme brulee smell, and it glides on pretty nicely for a matte finish. According to Ms Von D, the shade is a ‘matte fire engine red’ and the shade’s name caused quite a stir… but regardless, this is a wonderful bold shade, this is truly a colour that calls for going into your ex-boyfriend’s place of work and making him feel awkward with your utter fierceness. Not that I’ve done that. The only real downside, is that like most other matte lipsticks it is quite drying. Moisturise before wearing, and you’ll be set!

2. Jeffree Star Velour Liquid Lipstick in Hoe Hoe Hoe – Limited Edition!

I feel guilty for including this in the list, as it was a limited edition release for Christmas 2015 and I had to grab it pretty fucking quickly as a wedding present to myself. Natalee herself was the one who convinced me to get it actually! But oh, it was so worth it. This was my first Jeffree Star purchase and I am truly desperate for his full range to be available here in the UK because this liquid lipstick is just perfect. I’ve always been wary of liquid formulas because they dry matte and seem to suck every last bit of moisture out of your lips, leaving them cracked and dry. This formula however, as well as being incredibly long-lasting, feels like a dream when it’s put on.

Then the colour… it’s a deep red with gorgeous red and purple sparkles throughout. As you wear it through the day, eat, drink and talk, the sparkle becomes more apparent under the colour – and it is noticeable! Sadly, this is completely sold out online now as you can imagine. There are sellers on eBay charging at least £25 for it, and although I think that’s a high price to pay for something that retailed originally at $18 (roughly £13) the quality and colour is definitely worth it. If you’ve got the spare change, then definitely consider adding this to your collection.

1. Urban Decay Matte Revolution lipstick in Bad Blood – £15.50 from urbandecay.co.uk

My most favourite red in my collection, for more reasons than one. The Husband got this for me as a treat when I’d not been well, and he was a big fan of the colour (he loves red lipstick on me, as I was wearing it the first day we met…) so I jumped at it. I wore it for our whole honeymoon weekend in Whitby and I felt beautiful the whole time we were away – and not just because my Husband kept staring at me!

I’m a fan of Urban Decay. I swear by their Eyeshadow Primer Potion as a staple in my make-up bag, I own the Naked 3 palette because the rose gold shades are just to die for, and I even had a Book of Shadows back in the day! They know how to make beautiful make-up, and although I was initially disappointed that they had discontinued their original lipstick range (the bullets were stunning enough on their own) I was intrigued to try their new matte formula. I’ve not had much luck with matte lipsticks, usually finding them drying and unflattering on my lips – but UD Matte Revolution knocks all of these stereotypes out of the park.

The colour is a gorgeous blood-red, hence the name. It’s incredibly flattering on my pale skin, but I imagine it would flatter on every skintone. The formula is creamy and incredibly pigmented. All it takes is one swipe from the angled bullet and you’re done. As for longevity – oh my god. I managed to drink many cans of Diet Coke, have a sandwich for lunch, talk my head off during the long drive and even have more Diet Coke. By the time we got to our B&B, the colour was still strong on my lips. I topped it up for dinner, and came home to find it was still on my lips! For a traditional lipstick bullet I was gobsmacked at the quality of the colour and lasting power.

Is it my go-to red? Well, as someone with so many reds to choose from, that’s a very loaded question…

arm20swatch_zpsxrxma1tf

(BONUS: After swatching all the products on my arm, I needed to remove them with cleanser and baby oil too! Red lipstick doesn’t like letting me go, clearly…)

I just want to say a massive thanks to my good friend Claire for writing this post for me! She was going to at Christmas, but we decided to go for purples, and plum shades instead. But now she’s finally got red shades down, and she’s caused me to want to buy myself an Urban Decay lipstick… NAUGHTY CLAIRE!

Which shade did you like the most? Make sure to let me know in the comments down below.

Until next time all, take care and have a great weekend!
