Back To Education Bag Ideas!

It’s now September and I know the kids are now officially back at school. FYI the weather is also rubbish, it’s 10am as I’m writing this on my day off (day before this post actually goes up!) and I NEED my light on to see what I’m actually doing. I feel sorry for the kids who have just has 6 weeks of crap weather. YUCK!

ANYWAY! I thought to go alongside the back to education post I did recently (which you can read here) I would write a bag ideas post too, so you have somewhere to store all that awesome stationary I talked about before. πŸ˜›

To be honest a lot of the bags I feature on this post are ones I’d buy myself if I was starting back at school, college or university. The prices will also range too due to this. I do understand that some of the bags on this list are very expensive, but it’s just to give an idea I guess on what kind of styles you could buy and use. Doesn’t mean that exact bag. πŸ˜›

On with the post… That has secretly made me want to buy new bags! Oh dear… πŸ˜›

  • Killstar Spektra 90’s Warp Backpack – Β£49.99 (link)

Wow I’ve really kicked off this blog post with a HELLA expensive backpack, haven’t I? It is gorgeous though and is obviously 90’s inspired and follows the grunge trend. It looks to be quite a big bag though which in turn makes it perfect for education use. You can shove all your books in there as well as stationary and necessities. I just love the random patches all over the bag, but yes it is expensive for what it is… You could always find a black bag similar to this one and buy all sorts of patches on eBay or Etsy to iron or sew onto it!

  • Pink Moomins Love Shopping Bag – Β£20.99 (link)

I wasn’t sure whether to add this bag to the list or not due to it being a shopping bag, but hey! When I was at college and university I used bags similar to this one and they were great! Due to how big the ones I used were they were a perfect size for carrying books in and a pencil case or pens. It wasn’t anything over the top and it did the job. I saw this bag though and thought the pink and Moomin print on it was so cute and definitely one you could use at university to go to and from lectures with.

  • The Legend Of Zelda Shoulder Bag – Β£25.99 (link)

Although I’m not a Zelda gamer, I know A LOT of people who are and who were really excited when the new game came out with the Nintendo Switch. The main reason for adding this bag here is because of the type of bag it is. I had a bag exactly the same as this during my GCSE’s at school and I loved it so much! It was the exact same colour as this but it has a huge Green Day logo on the front… I was a massive fan okay!? The bag was huge though and you could fit everything in there including folders. I don’t know if this bag will be the same but it’d be a great bag to use during GCSE’s like I did and especially throughout college and university. It’s also a conversation starter when your’e meeting new people!

  • EMP Full Volume Pearl’s Backpack – Β£24.99 (link)

If you love holographic like myself then maybe a holographic backpack is the way forward? This would probably be more ideal for school due to how bright it is, but hey if you want to rock something like this as you get older then I salute you! I would have probably worn something like this at school and college and probably ended there. I love holographic, but I feel like a backpack would be a bit much at my age… God I make myself sound REALLY old. πŸ˜›

  • Ita Bag – Β£20.00 (link)

Don’t worry if you don’t know what an ita bag is, I will educate you! An ita bag is something that every anime mad girl in Japan will use and wear. The trend is now well and truly in the UK and myself included wants one. They come in various colours but I decided to use the black one as you can’t go wrong with that colour. Where the clear heart is on the front you use as a display window for badges, charms, keyrings etc of your favourite anime character(s). It’s a way to show off your love of a certain anime or just a certain character. I’d love to get a black one to put loads of Persona 5 charms in. I do think I’m too old for this trend now. If this came out when I was in university I may have contemplated getting into it, but alas I’m a little old now. πŸ˜› This would be an amazing bag for someone starting secondary school to have. It would make for great conversation between anime fans. This would work out to be very expensive though, but at the same time it would make an amazing hobbie!

  • Iron Fist Wolfbeater Tote – Β£45.99 currently Β£28.99 (link)

I actually owned this bag many moons ago when I was at university and it was by far one of the best ones I owned! I still have it at my mom and dads house somewhere! It was huge and you have a few different ways to wear it too. Not only that but it’s like a Mary Poppins bag, you’ll never be able to find what you want straight away as it’s huge! You’d be able to keep folders, books, necessities and of course stationary in there without a worry. You can get all sorts of designs on this style of bag too, I just chose this one as this is the same one as mine.

  • Missguided Faux Fur Bag – Β£18.00 (link)

I can’t say I agree with the faux fur look fashion wise… It looks tacky to me and yuck. BUT I put this down to the hideous fluffy sliders that have appeared this summer. This backpack has the faux fur trend all over it and although I’m not a massive fan of the trend, this bag is really cute in it’s own right. This could Β be worn by anybody and considering it’s by Missguided it’s probably going to be more fashion orientated and not as practical… But sod it! If you’re at university and live on site then this will definitely be a winner for you! You can carry your folder and look all American high schoolesque. Β πŸ˜› If that wasn’t already a word… It certainly is now! πŸ˜›

So that’s some of my bag ideas for returning or even starting back in education. I can’t believe how quick the school holidays went, can you?

Do you have any bag recommendations for younger people than I? Make sure to tell me down below! Have you bought a new bag recently? If so let me know that too.

Until next time, take care all and I hope you’re having a great week!

A Holiday Haul!

I’m sure I mentioned time and time again the past month (or two…) that I would write a holiday haul post when I’d bought all the goodies I wanted for my holiday. It now looks like I’ve bought all the goodies I’ll want (and need for that matter…) for my holiday IN LESS THAN A MONTHS TIME! Oh my, the days, weeks and months have gone by so damn quickly.

I’m not going to lie, I am hella excited for my holiday, but I’m also really nervous all at the same time. I know for a fact I won’t want to come home.

Anyway, I decided to be naughty as soon as pay day hit this month and bought myself quite a few bits and pieces for the holiday… As well as to wear in the UK as and when appropriate… I kind of used the holiday as an excuse to buy things. πŸ˜›

I don’t think I’ll be buying anything else for “the holiday” (hahaha :P) but if I do I can always make a second post about that! The only other thing(s) I can see me buying is a new bra for the dress I bought (you’ll see what I mean when I show it off) and maybe a choker.

Right, enough waffle. On with the haul! I’ll talk about things in the order I bought/received them.

  • Sixty Seven Silver Tone Holographic Sliders (no longer available).

Oh sliders, such ugly sandals when covered in fur and pom poms. I’m not a huge fan of wearing sandals, flip flips etc and more than not often opt for Vans when on holiday due to how comfortable and lightweight they are. However, I had a little thing for sliders this year… The none fluffy variety, of course! I had a look everywhere for a holographic pair but couldn’t find a single thing and when I did SEEM to find something decent it was stupidly priced or the colours were a little off.

As I do at least once a week I had a nosey over on TK Maxx and found these beauties! I waited a while to order them, but as sizes below and above my own started to sell out I knew I needed to get on it and get my pair ordered! These cost me Β£12.99 and retail for Β£33.99. WOW! They’re amazing though and I’m so glad I bought them! They’re really sturdy and feel like they’ll last a long time. The holographic is sort of matte in colour and doesn’t look too shiny, which I like. They’re not 100% comfortable to be honest and I find they’re rubbing a little on the top of my foot, but I’m hoping this is just them breaking in.

I plan to wear these both in the daytime and the evenings. Everything I’ll be showing off in this video what I bought I’ll probably wear with these sliders. I have to say I hate that they’re called sliders… I know why they are but I dislike it so damn much! I can’t wait to rock these to the beach in my matching bikini! πŸ˜›

My camera just wasn’t playing ball with me when trying to take pictures! It looks pretty cool though and shows off all the colours of the glitter really well. πŸ˜›

My camera just wasn’t playing ball with me when trying to take pictures! It looks pretty cool though and shows off all the colours of the glitter really well. πŸ˜›

  • Topshop Black Glitter Skater Skirt (no longer available).

I’ve been in need of a new skater skirt for quite a long time now but I just haven’t really seen anything I’ve liked. My previous skater skirt was from Topshop so I decided to have a look on their website for an upgrade, sadly I found nothing. I looked around various high street stores for a while and I remembered the one place I hadn’t even looked for a new skirt, a Topshop one at least. eBay, my holy grail and first place I often look for things I want at a decent price. I found this Topshop skater skirt straight away and I fell in love! It was bidding and considering there was only 2 of us bidding on it, it started on 99p and I did a ninja and bidded with 5 seconds left, I won. I only paid about Β£2.50 for this including postage.

It’s really gorgeous black skirt with pink, blue gold and silver pieces of glitter running throughout it. It’s a lightweight skirt which is nice as it doesn’t feel heavy at all when wearing it. I’m also glad to say that the glitter is embedded into the skirt itself so when wearing, washing, etc no glitter bits will shed anywhere. I don’t know how much the skirt originally retailed for, but knowing Topshop probably Β£20-Β£30.

I’m just so pleased I picked this skirt up as it’s amazing! It does make my bum look bigger than it actually is though due to the way it hangs and I’m not sure if I like this or not. It can be worn as a high-waisted skirt or normal. With my new crop top (which I’ll be talking about last) it looks gorgeous and works really well. If anything it has finally given me the push and courage to wear more crop tops. πŸ™‚

  • Pretty Little Thing Anaiya Multi Tie Dye Denim Short (available here).

Urgh. Just getting this out there that if you have read my recent blog post you’ll know how annoyed at am at Pretty Little Thing and how I don’t recommend them. If you haven’t, here is the link.

That aside I love these shorts, even if they are a little on the snug side. They’re high-waisted denim shorts with a tie dye affect on them. Although not 100% they do have rainbow colors on them. You can see where they originally dyed them blue, pink and yellow only for the colours to run to create green, purple and orange. They look amazing and very eye catching! They’re distressed too which I love, all over the front of the legs and a little on the one back pocket. The pockets in these are really big and deep, which I love! Means you can keep a phone and money on you if you don’t want to carry a bag around.

I’ll be rocking these with my crop top, as well as various t-shirts tucked into it. I tried on one of my black long sleeved t-shirts and I loved how it looked! I’m tempted to take said t-shirt on holiday so I can wear it in the evenings. I’d wear it with either my pair of Star Wars or 101 Dalmatians Vans. Maybe even my DC high tops. I’ll see what shoes I decide to take with me closer to the time. I’ve even looked at wearing my chunky 90’s looking heels, but I’m not sure if I will or not yet.

I know they’re very bright to wear in the UK throughout the whole year (come on let’s face it, our summer lasts all of a week…) BUT I will wear these throughout the year over here. I’ll rock them with band tees, tights and Dr Martens boots for a grunge look. If anything, I can’t wait to when I’m back from holiday! πŸ˜›

  • Boohoo Manhattan Hologram Triangle Tie Bikini (available here).

I didn’t need a new bikini and in the end I bought two. Shit. For this holiday I have noticed a pattern of me lusting after things that are either holographic, mermaid scale print or turquoise sequins. This obviously caught my eye (like the little magpie I am…) when browsing around Boohoo. It’s a bog standard triangle bikini BUT OMG IT’S HOLOGRAPHIC AND SHINY AND PRETTY AND OMG! Breathe Nat, breathe.

You can’t go wrong with holographic and when it comes to a hot country where the sun is out most of the time, you definitely can’t go wrong! This is the bikini I’ll wear when tanning on the balcony. It’s the tie at the sides for the bottoms and at the neck and back for the top. As I said, bog standard.

These are still available on the Boohoo website as well as another here which is holographic too. I was tempted to order this one instead/as well as the one I bought but meh. Don’t need ALL THE BIKINIS! xD

I am seriously in love with this picture since taking it!

  • Killstar Pheadra Skater Dress (available here).

The day that Killstar launched this dress for sale on their website I KNEW I had to have it. I’m a massive fan of Killstar and my love of them has grown dramatically this past year. I want NO NEED to own more pieces by Killstar!

This is a skater dress with a mermaid print on, and a pentagram strappy back. This IS NOT a dress I would wear in the daytime, only in the evening when the sun isn’t out and at risk of tanning the pentagram shape into my back. I do not want. πŸ˜› The pictures of this dress don’t do it justice. To me it just looks turquoise on the website but when it arrived I noticed that in the light the dress will shift and go a purple shade. Also as you can see it has a mermaid pattern on it. Oh Nat, you and those mermaid scales! I do like the smaller scales though and it makes a change from the bigger ones I rock on Black Milk Clothing pieces.

My only issue with this dress is I feel it’s too big… But I worry the size down would be too small… Also as amazing as the pentagram shape is on the back, it isn’t practical at all when wearing a bra. As of yet I haven’t got myself a new bra to wear with it yet… I hope I can get one before the holiday.

I know it sounds stupid because with a back like that you’d want to show off the dress, wouldn’t you? Alas this dress actually looks better with a jacket or cardigan over the top. In fact it looks so cute teamed up with my burgundy cardigan! Who’d have thought? I can’t wait to wear this throughout the year in the UK. I’ll definitely have to wear Dr Martens or brothel creepers. πŸ˜›

  • Killstar Arabella Halter Top (available here) and Posing Shorts (available here).

The same brand and the same print as the Killstar Pheadra dress. I couldn’t resist not getting this top and shorts. I don’t 100% know if you can swim in them, but damn I’ll give it a go! Nah if anything these won’t be for tanning in due to the top being the way it is, but more for popping out to the beach in for a walk with the shorts or even a pair of shorts over the top. I also wanted to pick these up for pole dancing in as I think they’d be gorgeous!

I do feel a little self conscious in this set due to how out there it is, but at the same time I actually feel really good about my body! I ordered both the top and shorts in the same size as I ordered the dress and whilst I don’t feel they’re too big, I do worry that the top part is a little baggy. I think I just need to get used to the style of it. I plan to try it on a few times at home before we leave for our holiday. I’d gladly wear this with shorts or a skirt with a little jacket over the top for if it’s chilly.

  • Black Milk Clothing Mermemerald Crop Top (no longer available).

Finally we have my last piece of clothing I bought in this haul and to be honest it’s by far my favourite! Everyone knows it, I love Black Milk Clothing and I especially love their mermaid printed pieces. I now own 3 mermaid pieces, including this new addition!

This is a size up from what I usually buy from Black Milk but it doesn’t matter as it fits lovely. It’s the Mermemerald crop top and guess what? It’s discontinued and now a museum item SO IT’S WORTH A FORTUNE! I picked this up second hand off of eBay for about Β£24.00, which I’m really chuffed about.

I didn’t expect it to be such a bright green when I took it out of the packaging though, but I adore it. At first when I tried it on I put it on the wrong way around. When I worked it out though and put it on properly I just fell in love. I paired it with my shorts, which looked amazing and then I paired it with my skater skirt. A part of me died and went to heaven for how lovely the two looked together. I haven’t felt all that great about my body the past month and more so the past week so to feel confident and nice about myself, I’m so happy. Black Milk seems to always have that affect on me. πŸ˜›

I already know I’m going to be wearing this most evenings when out with Dane for drinks and even for a day of shopping! I can’t wait to wear this back at home though to be honest. It’s such a stunning piece and when the weather is crap and gloomy over here, I can see this perking me up. It shifts from green to turquoise in the right light. How amazing!

One of my favourite pictures I’ve taken for such a long time! FYI I’m covering my face because I had some nasty zits on my cheek. YUCK! xD

PLZ DO NOT LOOK IN THE BIN. Nothing in there to hide, but still! xD

I was going to try and merge these four pictures in with the items themselves but it would have just been a mess… Sort of. SO I thought I would add said pictures at the end of the post, so you can see how I would wear some of the pieces together, as well as with other items. πŸ˜€

So that is everything I picked up for my holiday! I have so much more crap that I could buy and a part of me still wants to pick up a few more things to grunge up my outfits in the evenings. A choker being the main thing right now really. We shall see…

Have you guys been on your holidays yet? Where did you go?

Also, are there any items in this post YOU own or want to? Let me know all your thoughts and answers in the comments!

Until next time all, take care and I hope your weeks are going well so far.

August Wish List ’17

Another month, another wish list. Bloody hell I haven’t even started editing the image for this year and I don’t have a clue what to put on it! I know I’ll think of some stuff to shove on there though… πŸ˜›

My holiday will soon be in less than a months time and I don’t know if stuff on this list will be to do with that or not… Possibly… Highly likely. I want to pick up a few bits and pieces before we go and I’m thinking of doing that this month so whatever earnings I pick up in September, they’ll be strictly for the holiday!

Anyway enough of me waffling on (as per usual…), let’s get on with the wish list!

  • Star Wars Medium-Length Collar Jyn Dress – Β£32.99 (link)

I recently found this in EMP’s autumn magazine. FYI EMP is an alternative and geeky store online that specialises in clothing for men and women, as well as other things. I’ve been looking at loads of their clothes lately and been a fan of so much stuff, but I’m in love with this Star Wars dress that’s inspired by Jyn Erso from Rogue One. I’m not a massive fan of dresses with no sleeves but this one will be great to wear in the summer on warm evenings and in the winter with a thermal underneath or a long sleeved t-shirt. I mostly love that it has a hood on it as it’d be great to wear throughout the winter due to that. It’s not a bad price considering that it’s branded and Star Wars! I may get it for the holiday… We shall see. πŸ˜›

  • Attitude Clothing Purple Jelly Heart Choker – Was Β£10.99 Now Β£5.50 (link)

I’ve wanted a heart choker for as long as I can remember now but I’ve never found a decent one that I like the look of. Whilst browsing around Attitude Clothing’s website I found this (and the holographic one) in their sale. I don’t actually know if a choker would suit me. Not like this anyway! I love that it has a buckle to fasten it instead of poppers. For just over Β£5.00 I’d like to think this is a bargain to discover if it’ll suit me or not. I’d probably wear this/these on holiday in the evenings when dressing up and going out for drinks.

  • Good Smile Company Persona 5 Morgana Nendoroid – Β£44.99 (link)

I feel like me and Dane haven’t bought a Nendoroid for ages… Well aside from Dane ordering Elric brothers recently from Good Smile’s official website. I want to order Morgana as soon as I can, because if you’re not a regular reader you won’t know how much I love Persona 5. πŸ˜› I LOVE IT TO THE MOON AND BACK AND TO THE Β MOON AGAIN! So of course I need to add Morgana to our Nendoroid collection. πŸ˜›

  • Killstar Phaedra Skater Dress – Β£39.99 (link)

This is number one on my wish list right now and it will be until I buy it! I don’t know whether I’ll buy it this month or next but I’ll be definitely picking it up before the holiday. It’s a gorgeous skater dress with a mermaid scale print on it. It reminds me of the Black Milk Clothing mermaid print that started off the trend of people dressing as mermaids. πŸ˜› I also love the slight bondage style look on the back in a star/pentagram shape. I’d rock this so much and yes it’s not cheap, but I haven’t bought myself a new dress since Christmas so I’d love to pick myself up something new.

  • Attitude Clothing Hologram Heart Ring Choker – Was Β£12.99 Now Β£6.50 (link)

I’ve wanted a heart choker for as long as I can remember now but I’ve never found a decent one that I like the look of. Whilst browsing around Attitude Clothing’s website I found this (and the purple jelly one) in their sale. I’m a massive hologram/holographic fan and I’m sure if I like this one or the purple jelly more… I’m thinking the latter though! We shall see…

  • Sixtyseven Silver Tone Holographic Sliders – Β£12.99 (link)

I’ve actually ordered these now ready for holiday BUT before ordering them I hadn’t really found a pair of sliders that I liked the look of. I knew I wanted some holographic ones but wherever I looked they were either overpriced or look fugly. These ones aren’t only “designer” but also a decent price and look awesome! I cannot wait for them to arrive to try them on. I’ll wear them throughout the day and maybe in the evening depending.

  • Killstar Salem Choker – Β£17.99 (link)

I know that this choker looks very bondage, S&M, sexual, etc etc. BUT I think it looks cute and sexy all the same! I could see me wearing this one more than the purple and holographic heart chokers from Attitude Clothing. This would obviously be a piece of “jewellery” to wear in the evenings and with any grunge style clothing! I really want to pick it up for the holiday too. It’d look amazing with the mermaid dress! πŸ˜€

So that’s my wish list for this month. I’m trying to save my money though this month, pretty much all I’ll buy is a dress or two for the holiday, a choker and a bikini. I can’t wait for my holiday! I just want some new bits and pieces to wear there… And here of course!

What do you have on your wish lists this month? Make sure to let me know in the comments down below!

Until next time, take care all and I hope you’re as excited for the rest of the month as I am.

Bikini Wish List Wednesday

I know I usually schedule posts for every 3 days (unless like recently where I was a lazy bitch and left a new post for a week…) BUT I wanted to do another wish list Wednesday post before I go on holiday.

I’m in desperate need of a new bikini and whilst the Iron Fist one I currently own is amazing and does a great job when wearing it, I would like something new that reflects my personality… I know that sounds weird, but hear me out throughout the post as to what I mean!

I also wanted a new bikini because whilst I loved and felt comfortable wearing my Iron Fist one on holiday, I didn’t feel that it stood out and I really want one that will! Especially when going down to the beach, which I hope to do more of on this holiday.

There is a sort of theme around all the bikinis I’ve added to this list too, I am aware of that after putting the image together. πŸ˜› Enjoy the wish list!

  • Boux Avenue Cabaret Triangle Bikini Top – Β£28.00 (link)
  • Boux Avenue Cabaret Bikini Briefs – Β£16.00 (link)

Sadly (as you can see) this bikini isn’t cheap. It’s actually quite expensive for what it looks like from the pictures, BUT IT’S PURPLE AND LOOKS ALMOST HOLOGRAPHIC! I also don’t see many bikini tops that allow you to buy your bra size as apposed to UK dress size or S, M or L. This would be a nice bikini to wear around the pool at my house, as apposed to the beach, but it would also be really nice to wear with a pair of shorts and a sheer jumper. It is expensive though for what it is and due to this I’d want to not only have a look at in person in one of their stores, but I’d also want to try it on before buying. I think I’ll wait for this to go in the sale though. Β£44.00 is a lot for a bikini in my mind…

  • Soft Kitty Clothing Mermaid Bikini – Β£15.00 (link)

I really love the look of this bikini as it reminds me of Ariel from The Little Mermaid but again, it’s that mermaid print that I love so much appearing again. This is the cheapest bikini on this list and it looks really good quality too! The only thing that I don’t like about it is that it states not to swim in pools with chlorine, which I understand but at the same time that kind of sucks. I would wear the bikini top during sunbathing as it can be a bandeau but I don’t know that for sure. I can’t see this being a bikini I pick up, but if any of the ones on this list aren’t available before the holiday then this could be a last resort.

  • River Island Mermaid Metallic Bandeau Bikini – Β£16.00 (link)

This is a bikini set I’ve had my eye on for a while now but it always seems to run out of stock or is sold out in sales. It’s only available on ASOS now but for Β£16.00 this is a decent price in my mind for a River Island bikini! I’ve been after a bandeau for a while to be honest for sunbathing in, as well as going out and about. As you can tell I have a metallic and holographic theme going on with these bikinis and this one is such a gorgeous petrol colour!

Missguided Blue Metallic Harness Bikini – Β£25.00 down to Β£12.50 (link)

There seems to be a trend this year with harnesses on bikinis and whilst I love it, I find it may also be impractical when tanning due to lines being left behind everywhere. I wouldn’t wear this for sunbathing in, it would definitely be one for going to the beach or shopping. I love the bottoms more than anything as they look so flattering and comfortable! These are so cheap in the sale that a part of me feels like ordering them now. πŸ˜› But I won’t, I’ll wait to buy the bikini set I’m talking about last on this post.

  • Boohoo Manhattan Hologram Triangle Tie Bikini – Β£18.00 (link)

I want a bog standard holographic bikini and this is probably the nicest one I have found, which is from Boohoo. They sell loads of stuff like this on eBay but I don’t trust the quality of eBay sellers stock. You can’t go wrong with Boohoo though and for Β£18.00 you can’t go wrong really. I’d wear this to go swimming in the pool, the beach and even to sunbathe in. So we shall see!

  • Killstar Arabella Halter Top – Β£19.99 (link)
  • Killstar Arabella Posing Shorts – Β£14.99 (link)

I’m saving my favourite item on this list until last! If there has been a bikini I have really fallen in love with, it’s definitely this one by Killstar. I was actually meant to order this and a dress with the same pattern when I got paid a couple of weeks ago, but I left it and bought a PS Vita instead… Priorities! πŸ˜› BUT I will either be ordering this when I get paid next month, or September just before the holiday. Probably August though… πŸ˜› I love mermaid printed things thanks to Black Milk Clothing and their gorgeous mermaid print leggings, which I own two pairs of (you can read and look at me wearing the one pair here) and love to death! I always take those with me whenever I’ve visited Fuerteventura, so why not wear a bikini with the same look to it? This one just looks sexy yet comfortable and flattering at the same time. I was worried this would actually cost more but when you compare the price of it alongside the Boux Avenue one, it’s a bargain really! This definitely isn’t a bikini I would wear when watching to catch the sun and tan and I’m sure you can see why! It’d be more something to wear on hot days whilst walking around with (again!) some shorts or even my Black Milk mermaid leggings. I just need this bikini in my life! πŸ˜›

So those are the bikinis I’m lusting after at the moment! There are so many things I want to buy and wear for the holiday and whilst I’m not low on funds at the moment, I don’t WANT to be low on funds either.

We shall see… I’m pretty sure I’ll be doing a haul of what goodies I get for the holiday.

Do you have your eye on any bikinis? If so please share them with me! πŸ˜€ Also, are you going on holiday this summer? Let me know where you’re going in the comments.

Until next time, take care all everyone and I hope you’re having a great week so far.

Holiday Wish List

It’s only a whole three months away now, which is going to FLASH BEFORE MY EYES! Legit it probably will flash before my eyes… πŸ˜› I’m trying to keep myself on a spending ban until the holiday is over due to wanting to save money FOR the holiday. However I do want to pick up some new bits and pieces to take with me. You know the usual holiday stuff… Bikini, shorts, skirts, sandals… Etc etc etc!

I’m not going to lie, I was super excited to write this post for weeks after eyeing up LOADS of bikinis, but now the sales have hit so many of them have gone and I am GUTTED. This list isn’t going to be as big as I originally planned it to be… But oh well! πŸ˜› I tried really hard to be honest to get a decent list together! Just goes to show I didn’t need as much as I thought I did. πŸ˜›

  • New Look Pool To Party Turquoise Sequin Wrap Front Bikini Top – Β£14.99 (link)
  • New Look Pool To Party Turquoise Sequin Tie Side Bikini Bottoms – Β£9.99 (link)

I Β have had my eye on quite a few bikini sets from New Look so far this year, as I mentioned in my May wish list (which you can read here). That has sadly sold out online now due to it going in the sale, so it’s one I’ll have to keep my eye out for in stores. ANYWAY This bikini set is better in my opinion though to be honest as not only can you wear it by the pool but teamed up with a pair of shorts you could wear it out and about. I wouldn’t do this myself as I feel conscious about my stomach. BUT it just looks so pretty! I definitely want to get it for my holiday. It just looks so pretty for a summer holiday and has a mermaid look to it. As well as that I love the fastening across the back as it means you don’t have to piss around with tying two straps, just the one around the neck. I’ll definitely try and get this one instead of leaving it too late like the other. πŸ˜›

  • Vans X Peanuts Skates Crewneck Sweatshirt – Β£55.00 (link)

This is definitely one of my favourite items on this list. I was actually going to add it to my July wish list but NAHHHHH I want it for holiday and to be honest it’s definitely an excuse to get it before I go, or at least try and find it for sale whilst I’m over in Fuerteventura. It’s a sweatshirt with loads of cute pictures of Snoopy on, as well as Woodstock. I’d rock this with jeans and shorts and probably wear it to death throughout the autumn and winter season. πŸ˜›

  • Iron Fist Deerly Dress – Β£45.00 (currently in sale for Β£26.99) – (link)

This is a dress I had my eye out for buying and wearing to a wedding, but I wasn’t able to go to that so I never ended up buying it. I love Iron Fist dresses, they’re amazing quality for the price and really comfortable to wear. I’ve taken and worn an Iron Fist dress on holiday before and it was perfect for evening wear as well as day wear due to the gorgeous red colour. As the name suggests it does have a deer theme to it, which is the print. There is the white spots you would find on a deer, as well as some little white skulls which I love, it really gives that Iron Fist feel to it.

  • Vans X Peanuts Slide-On Sandals – Β£25.00 (link)

I have a love and hate relationship with sliders right now. They look awesome, especially these and even some holographic ones I’ve eyed up online. BUT SERIOUSLY what the fuck are these ugly fluffy sliders everyone is wearing right now? Can we burn them? πŸ˜› But I have seen a few pairs I like the look for but the most tasteful ones I’ve found to date are these Vans X Peanuts collaboration ones! They’re black (tick!), they have Snoopy and Woodstock on (tick, tick!) and they’re Vans (TICK, TICK, TIIIICK!)! What more could I ask for? πŸ˜› I’ll be keeping my eyes peeled for them to go into the sale. πŸ˜‰

  • New Look Pool To Party Turquoise Sequin Swimsuit – Β£29.99 (link)

I am not a fan of wearing swimming costumes/swimsuits as I love tanning and wearing a swimsuit won’t help you tan! Well your legs and arms yeah, but sweet FA else. This however is something I would like to wear in the daytime and evening with a skirt or a pair of shorts to make an outfit. I wouldn’t want to pay the full price for it mind as I find it’s a bit expensive for what it is! It does look gorgeous though and honestly it just looks like a great piece of evening wear.

  • Killstar Dye Fast Woodstock Maxi Dress TIEDYE – Β£44.99Β (currently in sale for Β£29.99) – (link)

I’ve had my eye on picking up another Killstar dress for ages but always left it due to saving money. I definitely want to get another one for the holiday and I’ve had my eye on the rainbow tie dye for ages! There’s two styles for this print, the maxi dress and the sun dress (which you can find here). I like both dresses for various reasons but I seem to be swaying towards the maxi dress more for various reasons. This would be lovely to wear more so in the evening when the sun is down than in the day. This is mostly due to the pentagram print on the back, I wouldn’t want that tanned into my back. πŸ˜›

  • Vans X Peanuts Riffs Dress – Β£60.00 – (link)

This is the last item on this list and one I’m 50/50 about, mainly due to the price! I’ve wanted a denim dress for at least two years now but I can’t seem to find a decent one anywhere. They’re either too thin, too thick or don’t suit my shape. Of course this one may happen to have the same issues I’ve encountered before, but I just love how this has pictures of Snoopy all over. It’s just so different and something I wouldn’t mind grabbing for the holiday. It’s just so expensive sadly. 😦 Sooo we shall see!

That’s my holiday wish list! I know it’s nothing special, but I’m quite laid back with holidays, especially to Fuerteventura. πŸ™‚

Do you have any shops I should check out for holiday pieces? Please share links in the comments down below or over on my Twitter account @maybeecoffee

Until next time take care all, I hope you had a lovely weekend!

Wish List Wednesday – Killstar

Woohoo it’s Wednesday and I thought I would do a wish list, seeing as I haven’t done a wish list Wednesday for quite a long time. I was planning to do one based on games that are due to come out later this year, but I decided to save that for another post and base this one off of one on a brand I really love the look of, Killstar.

For those who may not know Killstar was founded in 2010 and is a clothing company that creates stunning and beautiful gothic pieces for both men and women. They’re also from Glasgow!

  • Addams Dress – Β£39.99 (link)

This is the dress that led me to discovered who Killstar were. I can’t remember her name but an alternative fashion blogger wrote about this dress and did a lookbook with it. She wore it so nicely and I instantly fell in love with the dress. It’s called the Addams dress because it’s inspired by Wednesday Addams. Ha! Wednesday! πŸ˜› This looks like the kind of dress you would wear for special events and nights out, hell no! I’d wear this out and about with brothel creepers and in winter a nice warm coat! This is a gorgeous dress and one I nearly ordered from their recent sale. Wah why didn’t I?!

  • Sorcery Hood Dress – Β£49.99 (link)

I don’t know what it is I love about this dress, but I think it’s the hood! I’m weird and love rocking up with a baggy hoodie on looking all gangsta and shizzle and getting ready to be kicked out of the shop because they can’t see my face. I’d love to say that’s a true story but it isn’t… πŸ˜› ANYWAY! I probably wouldn’t wear this out and about as much as the Addams dress but it’d be nice to wear if I fancied dressing up with some Dr Martens to make it look edgy, or some heels to make it look more sexy than it already does.

  • Unicorn Tarot Kimono Dress – Β£39.99 (link)

Not going to lie this is probably my favourite dress on this list and I don’t really know why! I just love the unicorn tarot card print on the front, it looks funky and cool without it being too in your face about it. If that makes sense! I mostly love the style of this dress with the kimono look to it, as it’s a style I have always loved but never been able to find anything in said style that I really like the look of. Either way I really want this dress, but when it was in the sale last week it sold out in every size apart from XL, which is a size too big for me… So I ordered it anyway. It’s meant to be fitted so I thought meh sod it the extra room will probably be nice. We shall see!

  • Tartan Skater Dress – Β£31.99 (link)

Out of all of the Killstar dresses I think this is the most normal one… Like the sort of style and print etc that you would find in a high store shop such as New Look, or Topshop. I really like the print on this due to the tartan red and black print turning into a black print at the bottom. It gives it that nice gothic look that isn’t too in your face. This would be nice to wear all year around too, with no sleeves in the summer and with a nice white or black shirts underneath.

  • After Effect Knit Dress in Grey – Β£44.99 (link)

Finally we have this grey knit dress which I can just imagine me wearing when I’m having a can’t be arsed to do sod all day but I need to dress somewhat reasonable so I put this dress on. This is me pretty much every day! It’s a really nice day and instead of dressing summery I’ve got grey joggers, bunny slippers and a Deadpool tee on. BUT this dress is gorgeous at he same time. They also have this in black but I thought the grey one looked nice. The sleeves look really baggy too, so you can cover your hands with the sleeves. Hashtag shy hand! πŸ˜›

So that was my Killstar wish list. I was intending to have six instead of five items on this list, but when I talk about my recent Killstar purchase of the Kruger jumper (you can see it on my haul post here) I’ll mention a few more items that I wanna get in the future.

Have you ever heard of Killstar? If so what do you think of them? If you hadn’t heard about them before this post then is it your type of fashion? Make sure to let me know in the comments down below!

Until next time take care all and I hope you’re having a lovely week.

Pay Day Haul!

Dayum have I really been M.I.A. the past week? I’ve been so busy this past week with being off work, as well as Dane being off work too. Everyday I kept saying to myself, “Nat you REALLY need to get some blog work done!” to then reply back, “Yeah… After this level on Lego Star Wars.” That level ended up turning out to be THE WHOLE GAME! Seriously fuck my life, and fuck you Lego! πŸ˜›

 photo Photo 12-08-2016 7 20 28 pm_zps7hgpqvt4.jpg

BUT me and Dane finally moved our arses after I got paid on Wednesday and took ourselves out for some very much needed retail therapy on Friday. We were like big kids that day too… I’m sure you can already see why!

We decided to go to one of our local shopping centers and this is actually a good little hail for me considering I am meant to be being good, and I’m after a new casual dress and some skirts/denim shorts so I have been on the warpath! Not a successful one mind. Onto the haul (by the way I apologise that the pictures aren’t super duper crisp and magical! I wanted to get the pictures taken quickly so we could play with the Nerf guns! :P)!

There’s a Yankee Candle store in the place we usually go shopping and it is amazing! They have all the exclusives in there, as well as some great two for offers. We always go for a mooch every time we visit as it doesn’t hurt to have a sniff on what candles you may buy next. We weren’t going to go in this time, but I’m glad I did as I picked up Candy Cane Lane, one of my favourites! It’s from the Christmas line, but the Christmas scents are by far the best in my eyes. This one came out a couple of years ago now and Dane was good enough to buy it me when it first launched. I’m coming to the end of that jar now and I refused to burn it anymore until I picked up a new one. This was in the sale for Β£10.99! A bargain for a large Yankee Candle. I won’t lie, I wish I had bought two of these. πŸ˜›

Now I have a bit of a complaint/back story about The Body Shop! I saw that they were doing 30% off of everything on the website so I thought sod it I’ll order those tea tree goodies I want! I ordered, paid with PayPal and at first I got two emails saying the payment had gone though and everything was fine. Then the website told me it hadn’t gone through and there was a problem… I got an email stating the same as well. BUT The Body Shop STILL took my money! I think it has been put back after me complaining etc. But what if I had assumed anything? I would be Β£16 down! This isn’t this first time this has happened with The Body Shop online and due to it happening again I refuse to use their website now… I’m sorry but The Body Shop is a big company and they should have this stuff sorted by now. It’sΒ  been going on for years, very disappointed guys!

Phew rant over, onto what I bought. I picked up their tea tree ranges three step cleanse, tone, and moisturise kit. A girl I work with (hey Rhi!) has told me that she loves the tea tree range and said how good it is, so I thought I’d try it. So far it’s pretty good, but it has caused my skin to break out a bit… Think this is meant to happen but I don’t think I like it. The foaming cleanser is lovely and cleansing and is fun to use! It reminds me of when I was a teenager and use to use the Simple foaming cleanser. The toner is the real “wow” factor of these steps. If you have sensitive skin then this probably isn’t for you. It’s very strong due to the tea tree and due to that it does sting the skin when applied. I was stupid enough to go over my eyes with it. The burn, oh the burn! Now the moisturiser is great but it’s probably my least favourite part of the kit. Purely because it states that it will matt the skin… Bollocks it does no such thing! Wasn’t surprise to be honest. Other than that it is an amazing light weight gel based lotion that really does wonders for my skin… Just doesn’t matt it like it says it will. The set cost Β£14 BUT as I had a Β£5 voucher on my Body Shop card it only cost me Β£9. What a bargain eh!? Even at Β£14 I think this set was a bargain as the cleanser and toner are both Β£5.50 each, and the moisturiser is a shocking Β£9! I’ll definitely pick up this set again for the money though.

Random but this is something I picked up with Dane when we popped into The Range for some home ware goodies. I’ve spotted it in loads of shops but never been bothered to buy it. Dane pointed it out to me due to the fox on the cover, and at Β£6.99 I thought meh why not pick it up! Give me something to do when the weather is nice and I want to sit out in the garden. I haven’t yet given this a go but bloody hell it’s going to be fun to do once I get started!

some_text

This little guy has been on my wish list since before Christmas when I spotted him in Forbidden Planet. Since then I have asked and pestered Dane to let me buy him, or him to buy it for me but each time he has said no. I get why as this wasn’t cheap at Β£39.99! You know what though? Totally worth it! We visited two Toys R Us stores to get our Nerf guns and in the first store we picked this Lego Wall-E up. That evening we put on some Kevin Smith and Clerks and built this little guy up. We only got half way and went to bed as it was getting late, but when I woke up the next morning Dane had finished him and popped him on our fireplace. He’s absolutely gorgeous and really is a nice piece to add to our living room.

The one thing that Dane was after when we went shopping was a Nerf gun… Well guns, one each. We had said about a year ago how when we finally bought our first home and were settled we would buy ourselves Nerf guns to play with in the house. Well now we finally have some, as well as some extra ammo! Dane always wanted the Stormtrooper blaster and after finding one in a second store he decided to get it. It cost a mean Β£39.99 but it’ll be great for cosplaying a Stormtrooper in the future (something we both want to do). I couldn’t settled on something however, and I constantly ummed and ahhed at the bow and arrows, as well as various different guns. I eventually said, “Meh I may as well match you and get a Star Wars one.” and as I reached for the Han Solo gun, I saw that they had made one for Rey! Perfect! So low and behold I picked up a Star Wars gun too. Mine cost Β£24.99. The extra bullets were under Β£10 which was pretty reasonable if you ask me.

 photo Photo 11-08-2016 5 42 20 pm_zpsetjk7xtg.jpg

Finally we have my favourite item on this haul (apart from the Wall-E and the Nerf guns because come on! Nothing better than being a big kid! :P) which is my new Killstar jumper. I didn’t get this from the official website, but instead I bought it from someone on eBay. It was brand new with the tags on as she had only tried it on to see how it would fit on her. So for Β£25.00 (inc P&P) I thought I would snatch it up before someone else could! This is of course still available to buy from the Killstar website, which I have linked here for you! I haven’t worn it yet but I’ve tried it on and it is so damn soft and comfortable! I want to team it up with some denim shorts or thick black leggings and Dr Martens boots or brothel creepers. It’ll probably end up being one of my staple pieces for autumn and winter this year. CAN’T WAIT!

But yes that was my short pay day haul for August! I’m meant to be being good so yes there are a couple of treats in here but I am trying to be good and watch my money at the moment.

What have you been buying yourself this pay day? Make sure to let me know in the comments!

Until next time take care all and I hope yo had a lovely weekend.
