November Favourites ’17

It’s December and it’s definitely beginning to look a lot like Christmas! This year I even have not one, but two advent calendars and I have work to thank for both of them!

November for me was a mixture of a shit month and an amazing month, the latter outweighing the two. As many of you may have read, I left my old job in retail/hospitality and joined my new job in admin! I’ve just wrapped up my third week and I am still loving it. I just can’t believe how quick those three weeks have gone and I am now well and truly into the Christmas spirit!

This past week though I have been so drained that blogging has sadly taken a back seat. Even my favourites post this month is late being written due to this, so I do apologise for my silence the past week. Blogging will be back on schedule after today, I promise.

For now it is time for me to do the first out of both my monthly posts, the first of course being my favourites!

  • Lush Snow Fairy Shower Gel.

As soon as me and Dane got back from our holiday in October, I knew it was time to get the Snow Fairy out of stash of Lush goodies! I always buy in the Boxing Day sales or get gifted a massive bottle of this glorious pink goo every Christmas/Birthday and I always save it for when Christmas is upon us. It just reminds me of Christmas and the closer we get to Christmas, the more excited I get! This scent is just Lush to me. Although not Snow Fairy, The Godmother shared it’s scent with this and that was the first Lush product I ever bought, so that already has a close spot in my heart. I love this shower gel though, but I’m so gutted Lush discontinued the large 1kg bottle this year.

  • Lancome Miracle EDP.

I always forget that I own this perfume, until recently! This is an old perfume to be honest and one that is probably WAY out of date by now. I’ve owned it since Christmas 2012 when my brother bought it for me. It smells so strong and whilst this isn’t a bad thing, it’s definitely changed from what it once was. I decided a week ago that I would use up as many perfumes as possible and just re purchase ones that are my favourites, as well as any new ones I REALLY want. I have way too many perfumes and there’s only one of me. This is a gorgeous and strong EDP though and one that I can only highly recommend for women in their late 20’s and up as it’s a pretty mature scent.

  • L’Occitane Shea Butter Hand Cream

This hand cream is amazing and I always forget this. The day I started my new job I decided I would start using this again and my hands are so grateful for it. I don’t really use it throughout my shift, as I use another one but this has been helping my hands in the morning before I leave for work and if my hands are super dry. I still have my massive tube as well, which lasts FOREVER! Best hand cream for sure, always helps my eczema during the cold months.

  • MUA Lip Liner in shade Dark Thistle.

This is a lip liner that I bought to accompany and work with any raspberry pink lipsticks I own and to be honest whilst I LOVE wearing it with those, I especially love wearing it on it’s own with a bit of gloss or lip balm. This is pretty much how I’ve worn it the past couple of weeks and probably how I’ll continue to wear it! These lip liners only cost a £1 and not only do they last ages on their own, as well as with lipsticks but they’re also super comfortable to wear AND even come with their own sharpener. I definitely want to invest in picking up more of these.

  • Carmex Lip Balm in Cherry.

I picked this up for my holiday to Fuerteventura back in September and throughout the whole holiday I used this constantly, only to come home and not use it. I threw it into my handbag the first day of my new job and since then that is where it’s stayed. I use it all the time at work and due to my office being warm this melts a little which makes it so much easier to use than it usually is! You can apply loads of this and it really does keep my lips feeling moisturised and soft. I’ve heard that Carmex have brought out a sugar plum flavour, which I intend to pick up asap!

So now my beauty favourites are done, time to talk about the miscellaneous favourites of the month!

Favourite TV Show – The Sinner.

This is a show that Dane told me about ages ago and had found online for us to watch. I never watched it and neither did he. When we found out it would be on Netflix we jumped at the chance to watch it. We binge watched it in a mere matter of days and the story is amazing! I didn’t know it was based off of a novel until I was searching for the trailer above, but it honestly doesn’t surprise me! It’s a thriller about a woman who murders a man on a beach and no one knows why. You find out more about her past as well as present as the story goes on and it really does keep you on the edge of your seat. If you fancy something to binge watch like this, please watch! I’ve also linked about the main song of the show as it’s amazing and as soon as I finished watching the show I went to find it so I could download it!

Favourite Film – The Boy & The Beast.

I have literally just finished watching this film. For ages now Dane has been trying to get me to watch this and for ages I said, “Nah I don’t want to, I won’t enjoy it.” Well it just goes to show how well Dane really knows me, it would seem more than myself as I loved watching this film. I thought it was going to be full of karate and kung fu style stuff, which is wasn’t. That’s why I thought I wouldn’t like it! It’s by the same people as The Wolf Children, which is one of my favourite anime films, so I shouldn’t have been surprised that I loved this film. This is currently on Amazon Prime Video to watch as subbed.

Favourite Book – Miss Kobayashi’s Dragon Maid Vol. 4.

I’VE STARTED READING AGAIN! I took some manga with me to work recently and actually read some, woohoo! It’s nice being able to get back into reading again as I’ve really missed it. It’s especially nice to have my lunch at my desk and read a manga. I have a feeling I’ve got some manga for Christmas this year so I need to make sure I read loads now before then to make sure I have time to read that too. 😛

Favourite Song/Album – Radio Bam.

If there’s one radio show (aside from any Tim Shaw has hosted!) I wish could come back, it’s Radio Bam, even if it came back as a podcast! I always forget how funny and random this show is and not only is the music amazing that Bam Margera plays throughout the shows, but the stories him and his guests (mostly the cKy guys) tell are so damn funny! Well, to me anyway. I’ve downloaded 100 episodes (there are 302 in total) and I’m currently listening to episode 17. The thing that made me think about downloading and listening to these again is the rush hour traffic I get stuck in on my way to work. I love listening to music on the way to work, but if I could listen to an episode of this instead, it would definitely make for an interesting change. I’ve popped up a funny moment above, I will say the show IS OFFENSIVE so this sort of thing won’t be for everyone, it is however for me, so sorry. 😉 The clip above is definitely one of my favourites.

Favourite Game – Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp, South Park: The Fractured But Whole and Sims 4.

Oh man this month has been about ALL THE GAMES for me! Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp came out and if you don’t know it by now, I’m a HUGE Animal Crossing fan! I’ve played all the games so when Nintendo announced a phone game, I knew I’d fall in love. When it came out in Australia and I saw my friends in the UK playing it, I was insanely jealous. So when it finally came out recently I downloaded straight away and since then I’ve been addicted.

As well as that I’ve also been addicted to playing Sims 4. Me and Dane played the demo of it on the Xbox One and although we enjoyed playing it, we didn’t like the way it played on the console. During Black Friday we picked it up online for less than £20 and we don’t regret it one bit. We’ve played it loads since and will probably spend most of tomorrow playing it together in bed, as well as on Sunday!

Finally I finished The Fractured But Whole and oh my God what a fucking ending! Although I’m not 100% sure/keen about the game play in the second game, I definitely love the story so much more! You can really see why it was getting delayed for so long, the guys did an amazing job with it and now I can’t wait to play it all over again to try and get all the trophies, like a sad git I am! 😛

So those are my favourites from November! I can’t believe in 30 days we’ll be looking to start a New Year. This year has gone by way too fast, can time just stop for a little? 😛

What were your favourites from November? Make sure to let me know in the comments down below!

Until next time all, take care and I hope you have a lovely weekend!

Barry M Matte Me Up Lip Paints and Lip Kit – Reviews

To date although I have reviewed many liquid lipsticks (which you can check out here) I haven’t yet reviewed one which is from the high street. They’re usually by indie or high end brands. So this definitely makes a change and I was pleasantly surprised by these beauties.

A few weeks ago I ventured into Boots to pick up one of the new Barry M Matte Me Up Lip Kit’s after hearing about them on their Instagram page. I swatched all three shades to see what they were like and ended up falling in love with the one shade, Runway. The lip kits come in three limited edition shades including Runway, Pose and Go To.

Runway lip liner

Runway liquid lipstick

Runway, the shade that I opted for is a gorgeous dusky rose pink colour and is a lovely alternative to a nude pink shade. I’m a massive fan of my darker shades so this is a lovely shade to opt down to if I don’t want anything dark, but nothing too light either. It’s a shade I can see me wearing more during the warmer months due to it being a warm shade.

The lip kits are like the Kylie ones where you get a liquid lipstick and a lip liner and I have to say it is such a shame these are only limited edition!

The lip liner for Runway is beautiful and creamy for a pencil but this being said I think Barry M do the best lip liners out there. This matches the colour of Runway perfectly and is one I’ll be using with other lipsticks, both normal and liquid. It glides on easily with no dragging and is comfortable to wear on its own without the liquid lip liner.

Before I talk more about the formula I also want to talk about two more shades from the permanent range of the Matte Me Up range. There are five shades to choose from, Paparazzi, On The Scene, Minimalist, Pop Up and Embellish. I picked up the latter two.

Pop Up is a dark pink/red shade which reminds me of cherries. It is a lovely alternative to a hot pink or even a vintage red shade. This will look great all year around.

Embellish is a purple shade and one that isn’t too dark, nor too light which I really like. I’ve never owned a purple shade that sits in between which makes a nice change. It reminds me of the Yankee Candle Vineyard grape due to the shade. I wore it yesterday and I definitely turned heads…

SO enough of the shades, what about the formulation? Well I wrote down some pros and cons of these liquid lipsticks and the majority of them were pro. Woohoo just what I want!

These don’t have a thick consistency and are actually on the watery side, but that doesn’t stop their pigmentation from being perfect. Due to the consistency of these it means a little bit of this goes a long way when applying. Majority of the time I won’t dip back into the tube to get more product, but if I do it’s because I just want to.

I worried due to how good their lasting time is that they wouldn’t come off very easily. I’ve had this with liquid lipsticks in the past and they’ve caused my lips to be really sore during wear and when removing. These are hard to get off in the sense of smudging. They don’t smudge easily and due to this they’re just as hard to remove with make up removers, UNLESS they contain oil! This isn’t a bad thing to be honest. It means your liquid lipstick shade of choice isn’t going to come off in a hurry.

These don’t really have any scent to them. I even asked Dane if he could smell anything as I couldn’t work it out myself. In the end we both agreed that they do have some sort of creamy sweet scent mixed with a slight chemical scent… This being said they’re pretty scentless when applying to the lips and when I say chemical, I don’t mean in your face. Only if you keep smelling them like me and Dane did. 😛

Like all liquid lipsticks these don’t like anything with oil in, so greasy food is a no no with these! After having some lunch with Dane on Sunday I needed to reapply Embellish which wasn’t a problem. I did of course worry that this wouldn’t be easy to reapply but alas it was fine and didn’t look any different afterwards, which I was very happy about.

What else makes me happy about these liquid lipsticks is the price! The permanent shades are all £4.99 each, whilst the three limited edition lip kits are £6.99 each. A complete bargain in comparison to what people pay f0r the Kylie lip kits!

Although the shade selections are great I do wish they had brought out some more unique shades, like black, grey, some brown shades (even though I don’t like them…) and some other shades too. I would so buy a black shade if they brought one out!

Something I wish Barry M had of done is release lip liners for ALL the shades, as the Runway one is amazing and it is such a shame it’s only limited edition for 3 shades. They should have done it with them all!

I’ve already covered about how hard these are to remove and whilst that isn’t a bad thing, it’s also not a great thing for me to be honest. I like to be able to remove something fairly easy when I’ve had enough of it. I need to buy myself some more oil based make up remover that’s for sure!

Of course I’ve shown all these off of course on myself so you can get an idea of what they look like on my yellow skin tone.

Overall I LOVE these liquid lipsticks and they’re definitely a winner for me! I want to pick up more shades, even though I don’t need them… I’ve already decided I’ll be buying most of these for my mom for Mother’s Day as she’s recently gotten into liquid lipstick so I know she’ll love these!

If you’re a newbie to liquid lipsticks or don’t want to pay through the teeth for one, definitely give these a go ESPECIALLY whilst they have their limited edition lip kits out! They’re well worth the money.

Do you think you’ll try these babies out? If so which shade(s) do you think you’ll be picking up?  Hey, have you already tried these? If so make sure to let me know what you think of them in the comments down below!

Until next time, take care all and I hope you had a lovely weekend.

June Favourites 2015

June has flown by and I can’t believe it’s the first day of July. We’re now officially into the summer season and I’m off to London in just over a week. I pray that July is a good month as June was pretty decent and I want to keep that good streak going.

I really started to enjoy using some new products, as well as a few old ones that I forgot I loved. Just a warning, some of these products have long mini reviews. Just shows how much I’ve loved them this month!

  • Soap & Glory Sugar Crush Body Scrub.

I bought this back in May and have been slowly using it and seeing how I’d get on with it. I won’t lie, at first I thought, “what does everyone see in this product? It’s rubbish!” But that was only after a first use and the more I used it, the more I realised what all the fuss was about. This scrub is so amazing for so many reasons. First of all, the smell! I love the Sugar Crush scent, it’s by far my favourite by Soap & Glory and now they have the body spray out, I’m trying to use all my Soap & Glory ones up so I can buy this one. Another great thing about this scrub is how thick it is. There’s nothing good about a fine scrub that slips off as soon as you apply it to the skin. It also means it lasts a lot longer. I’ve had this over a month now and I use it once a week, I’m just over halfway through the tub. That to me is amazing! Something I did notice I had to do with this scrub though to make it work to my liking was to rub it together in my hands first to get the scrub nice and rough and then I rubbed it on my skin. It does work amazingly on dry skin, but I always use this when I have a bath so the only dry parts will be my shoulders and upper arms. After I use this my skin feels moisturised, super smooth, and smelling lovely. I’ll definitely be repurchasing this in the future as it’s a keeper now.

  • Victoria’s Secret Fragrance Mist in Snow Mint (LE).

I’ve owned this since before Christmas and I remember picking it up the first time I went into Victoria’s Secret. I’m a sucker for that shop now and each time I pop into town (which isn’t that often anymore) I usually pick something up. The fragrance mists are a definite must if you love things like this, not just for the gorgeous scents, but for their lasting power. I had used these on and off over the winter and spring months, but now summer is here I’ve been using my body sprays a lot for work, as well as for after pole dancing classes. I’d never noticed before how good these sprays actually are! I spritzed this all over my neck, chest, arms, and legs in the morning before I went out for the day and when I got back in the evening and was snuggled into bed relaxing, I could smell this all over me. I was well chuffed! Snow Mint is definitely one I wish I’d picked up a dupe of. It’s a peppermint sweetie style scent that isn’t too strong and isn’t too sweet, it’s perfect in the middle. It leaves me feeling refreshed and smelling good. Once I wore it for work and got nothing but compliments! I think I might take this to London with me to spritz on during Hyper Japan. It really does cool you down! I hope this comes back this Christmas as I’ll be stocking up on it for sure.

  • John Frieda Beach Blonde Sea Waves Sea Salt Spray.

This was something that came up on one of my wish lists for London during June and of course if I said I wanted it… Chances are I was going to buy it. I honestly couldn’t resist picking this up and I’m so glad I did because I don’t regret it. Whilst this hasn’t made my hair curly, that’s due to not putting any hair curling effort in… Lazy me! HOWEVER this has made my hair thicker when used in both wet and dry hair and it’s definitely good when I want a bit more volume and style for my braids. I spritz this onto wet/damp hair and blow dry. Blow drying upside down gives you more volume and body. Then I brush it through and style it afterwards as and how I want. This makes my hair super wavy after wearing a braid all day and makes my hair feel thicker and very beach like. The only issue is, it can be a tad tough to brush, but not as bad as another sea salt spray I’ve used! This smells like yummy coconuts too, so just as a treat I sometimes spray this into my hair before I style it. This doesn’t feel sticky or heavy on the hair and it’s as if you’re spraying water onto the hair. I’ll definitely be repurchasing this as it’s just such a great product. I need to style my hair with this though next time!

  • The Body Shop Peppermint Cooling Foot Lotion.

If there is a range from The Body Shop that I adore out of them all, it’s definitely their peppermint foot range. It’s by far the best one you can pick up on the high street and for amazing prices too. I picked up most of the range back at the start of February after my holiday and they’re still lasting me to this day. Since starting back at my pole dancing classes, my feet have been busy, as well as my legs getting bashed and bruised. After a quick shower and a good scrub of my dirty feet, I like to get my servant *cough* I mean my boyfriend (he he he :P) to rub some of this on my feet and legs as a nice after pole dance treat. As it’s a cooling lotion it really does help tired limbs and leaves me feeling great. This weekly treat has now turned into a daily one. As soon as I get in from being out and about I like to rub some of this on my tootsies. It’s a fast drying lotion so you don’t have to apply foot socks, or wait around ages for it to dry (but you can if you want to, of course) which is convenient for me. This lasts ages too as you don’t need to use a lot. Although I won’t be taking this to London with me, I will be taking the Peppermint Cooling Foot Spray with me, which is something else I use alongside the lotion after pole classes. This is perfect for summer, especially holidays so pick some up.

  • Rimmel London Moisture Renew Universal Transparent Lip Liner.

This is something I ordered on a whim that I’d wanted to try it for ages, and for less than a fiver I didn’t see the harm. I have all sorts of lipsticks, but not that many lip liners… I own three and out of various shades of pinks, reds, and now purples, I could do with one lip liner for them all. Which is where this one comes into play. I had heard nothing but bad things about this, so I was worried I’d regret what I ordered. However, I haven’t had any issues since ordering and if anything I personally love it! It doesn’t exactly do as great a job as other lip liners, but I didn’t expect it to. I mostly use this with my darker shades such as Rebel, and my purple lipsticks. I even tried it with a black lipstick I recently purchased and the staying power wasn’t as great as a bog standard lip liner, but it did really help some of my lipsticks last longer and that worked for me. It applies creamy to the lips and doesn’t leave them feeling dry, which is a bonus. I would like to try a more high brand transparent liner next, but this one is a bargain for sure. I definitely recommend it, but don’t go in with high expectations because you will feel disappointed.

So those were my favourites for last month! What did you enjoy and love using? Let me know in the comments.

Until next time take care all and I’ll see you soon.

Wish List Wednesday – London

Of course I’m due to go to London in a months time and I know that is going to fly by! Like Bristol, I’ll be popping to the shops a week before I’m due to go to pick up some bits and pieces I can used whilst I’m away. This is what this wish list is for! I may also mention in a separate wish list post which items I’ll be trying to pick up whilst I’m in London. *cough* LUSH *cough*

Some of these things I would like to pick up anyway and London is sort of an excuse for this, at the same time it’s also things I would like to have for London.

  •  John Frieda Beach Blonde Cool Dip Purifying Shampoo and Sea Waves Sea Salt Spray.

When John Frieda brought this collection back out a month or so ago, I had such a nostalgic moment. I remember when I was a kid when all the “cool” girls in the playground used the spray in their hair. It was the “it” product and was something I lusted after for years. However my mom would never buy it for me and she wouldn’t let me buy it with my own pocket money either. I won’t lie when I admit that I contemplated stealing it once just so I could have it, and she wouldn’t find out about me buying it either. But I knew better and left it… Don’t steal kids! Anyway… Now I’m old enough I can buy it for myself and from what I remember this spray isn’t as harsh on hair as many of the sea salt sprays on the market are. I’ve already tried one and although it made my hair look and feel gorgeous, it was a bit too much for my liking. I remember trying this as a kid once or twice when the “cool” girls let me try it out. I mostly remember how gorgeous it smelt, like coconuts. Nom! I want that again so I’m going to pick this up in time for summer, and London. Also in the range is the shampoo, which sounds so nice! I don’t really need any shampoo as I already have my eye on one I want to pick up (check my wish list for June here) but I’d like one to take with me to London for both me and my boyfriend to use. I would end up sending it over to his house so that I could use it there whenever I wash my hair, as the current shampoo I use there is pretty lame and makes my hair go really flat… It used to work wonders before! I’ll have to contemplate this mind, as I do really have my eyes set on the Neal & Wolf shampoo.

  • Evian Facial Spray.

I’m going to be a little honest here when I say, if I buy water whilst I’m out and about, I won’t buy anything else other than Evian (if I have that choice of course) because it’s the best one you can buy! I’ve used their facial spray in the past when it first came out and it’s gorgeous! It’s also expensive… But if you look in the right places you can pick up a bargain. As me and my boyfriend will be at Hyper Japan all day the second day of our stay in London, we’re going to be HOT! So I thought it might be a good idea to pick up a cooling spray. I know there are loads out there, but searching online the only one I’m seeming to find (I’m probably not searching hard enough!) is this one. I doubt this will be the one I pick up due to the price, but if I wanted a splurge, I would.

  • Rimmel London Moisture Renew Lip Liner.

I’ve been eying this up for a while now as I LOVE wearing lipstick. However, I don’t like only have three lip liners (red, pinky nude, and raspberry pink) that won’t suit the needs of all my lipsticks. This is where this lip liner will be great for this. It’s a clear one, so it can be applied under any colour lipstick and it’ll still do the same job as any other. Plus I imagine from the moisture in the name that it helps keep your lips nice and hydrated throughout the day. This is what I need for London, as whilst I’ll be walking around all day and kept busy, I don’t really want to worry that my lipstick isn’t perfect. I’ve tried this out in Boots before and it does look like a great product, and for less than £4.00 you can’t complain either!

  • Reeses Pajamas from Primark.

I recently spotted these gorgeous pajamas on Primark’s Instagram and since I have fallen in love! I haven’t been near a Primark to pick them up yet, but I’ll hopefully be able to the weekend when I’m near one. I don’t own a pair of short pajamas that I really like so these would be great for the warm summer months. They’ll also be ideal for London because of it. They’re only £10, which you can’t say is a bad price. They also sell underwear and boxers too, so I may just have to pick some of those up for myself and my boyfriend. 😛

  • Aussie Shower Gel in Fresh Mate.

If there is one thing I love about the Aussie hair care range, it’s the smell. Oh my Gosh, heaven in a bottle. When I was on holiday for the first couple of days I used an Aussie shampoo and not only did it leave my hair feeling and looking great, it smelt great too. So when Aussie announced they would bring out a shower gel range, I was pretty excited. This is the one that smells just like the shampoo I used whilst I was away. Need it in my life! Not only do I want this to take away with us to use during our time in London, but I want it to use anyway. I’ve wanted to try it for ages, but I refuse to buy it until it is on offer! I want to try all the different versions, although I can see me liking this one the most.

  • Quickies Nail Varnish Remover Travel Pot.

I don’t know if I’ll pick this up, but it’s always a good idea to think about. When I went to Bristol I didn’t paint my nails, but when I got there I did, due to picking up some nail polishes. I’m pretty sure I’m going to be painting my nails this time, before I go but I have contemplating painting them again whilst I’m there. So something like this can come in handy for if I need to remove my nail polish quickly, or if I paint them and make any mess. At a £1, you’re not going to break the bank. If I pick any up, it’ll be a last-minute thing.

  • My Neighbour Totoro Sweatshirt.

I’ve seen this in the past on eBay and contemplated buying it, but in the end I left it. However, I had my eye on it again… Whether I pick it up for London or not is another story. My boyfriend asked me what I would be wearing for Hyper Japan, and I honestly don’t know! I want to make a statement of course and look awesome whilst doing it, and this sweater could be something cool to rock up wearing. However, I need to save money and I have other items in my wardrobe I can throw on for the day. If I pick this up, again it’ll be very last-minute…

So that’s my wish list for London! I will of course be basing my July wish list around what I am hoping to pick up in London… I might even do a Lush Oxford wish list too… We shall see!

Do you have any suggestions of what I should take with me to London? Let me know in the comments!

I hope everyone is having a great week.

Take care and see you soon!

March Favourites 2015

Wow it’s April already and I’m somewhat excited for this month. It’s my boyfriends birthday in a couple of weeks and I can’t wait to give him his presents.

As well as that it’s Easter and soon we can have a couple of lazy days to eat chocolate… Well you might be able to, but I probably won’t!

Either way March flew by and it was a pretty decent month. It was hard to try and think of some favourites as I hadn’t even realised how much I was even using some of my products until I looked around my room and pretending I was getting ready to go out.

That sounds bizarre I know, but here we go.

  • Rimmel Exaggerate Lip Liner in Eastend Snob.

I’ve heard nothing but good things about this lip liner, so after swatching it in Boots, I decided to pick it up. Since buying this I’ve done nothing but use it. This is a gorgeous pink nude lip liner that works on its own or underneath a lip colour of a similar shade. The best thing about this lip liner is the packaging. It isn’t one you need to sharpen (which I HATE) and instead is one you quickly twist up to get more pencil. It’s also really creamy to apply but I always pop some lip balm on underneath to keep my lips moisturised, as well as give myself some more comfort when applying this. I’ll hopefully review this soon, as it’s just too good not to. But even so, I doubt there is much point as this lip liner is loved by so many that people probably already know how good it is. We shall see!

  • Lush Pot O’ Gold Shower Jelly.

I’ve really started to get back into the shower products by Lush lately and I find they’re at a pretty decent price too. Their Mother’s Day range has now come and gone and we currently only have the Easter range left to take advantage of whilst it’s around. Which of course I have done. I remember smelling this jelly a while ago and I didn’t think much about it, but when I popped back in a few weeks ago I fell in love and bought it straight away. It smells just like Honey I Washed The Kids Soap which I LOVE. Not only that but it’s a gorgeous yellow gold colour and gives off a bit of shimmer when you use it. I’m going to be reviewing this before it leaves us soon as it’s just too good not to talk about. I can’t wait to review it now.

  • Britney Spears Midnight Fantasy EDP.

I’ve mentioned this perfume time and time again on my blog and this is my second, maybe third bottle of this now. It’s by far one of my favourites and will always be one I pop on during the summer too. This smells yummy and of berries, especially blueberries and is very strong too. It doesn’t remind me of the original Fantasy in any way, shape, or form (which I also really like) which is what I love the most about it. The bottle even looks gorgeous! This is a strong perfume too and whenever I wear it out I get compliments of how nice I smell, which I can’t complain about! Just love this one so much.

  • Nivea Rescue & Care Hand Balm.

My hand creams have been letting me down lately, even my L’Occitane ones which I’m pretty disappointed about. So whilst I was out food shopping I picked this one up which was on offer at the time. It’s one of the best hand creams I’ve bought for a long time! I use this before I pop out the house for the day and it leaves my hands lovely and soft for ages. It also has a light and pleasant smell to it which I really like. For a hand cream that is aimed towards dry and chapped hands, it isn’t thick which is another plus for me. I’d definitely pick this up again, probably for my bag next.

  • Burt’s Bees Refreshing Lip Balm in Pink Grapefruit.

This was one of my Christmas presents from my friend Poppy and it’s one I’ve really enjoyed using since then. I love Burt’s Bees lip balms and sadly I recently accidentally left my one in my work trousers, which resulted in a ruined lip balm. I was gutted but oh well, shit happens. Either way the Burt’s Bees lip balms really are moisturising and I find this one is rather thick for a tube too which I love. I’ve been applying this throughout the day when I’m at home, as well as in the evenings and before bed. It smells of pink grapefruit which really wakes you up if you use it in the morning. I would love to try more Burt’s Bees in the future!

So those were my favourites for this month. What products have you been enjoying? Make sure to let me know in the comments!

Until next time, take care all and see you soon.
