Black Milk Clothing x Pokemon 2.0

Back in February Black Milk Clothing announced that they would be bringing out a second Pokemon collection and I was SO excited for this! I counted down the days and watching their Instagram page like a hawk to find out what designs were coming out, as well as WHEN the collection would drop… Which dropped at the start of March!

I made sure to get my order in there and then for the goodies I wanted and I didn’t miss out on anything I wanted. However, I do regret not ordering a couple of items in particular that I’ll be sharing with you all in today’s post.

Considering I’d shown you all the first Pokemon collection from Black Milk Clothing and the Animal Crossing collection, I thought it would be nice to show you the pieces I snagged from the second Pokemon collection! I only grabbed two pieces, but they’re both so pretty and I’m really excited to rock them this summer. πŸ™‚

Just a heads up, both of the pieces I picked up are limited, which means they’re limited edition and may not be available anymore to buy, OR might have certain sizes left in stock. I will address this when I talk about each item.

Another thing to bear in mind/address is that I always pick up a size L in my Black Milk Clothing pieces as they’re the fit I like. They’re not tight and they have a little bit of give with them, which is perfect for me. πŸ™‚

For Pokemon 2.0 I personally didn’t feel that this collection was as strong as the first collection, but this being said there were aspects of 2.0 that really stood out and certain things the first collection could have done with. Examples of this being the evil tee dresses. There were SO MANY that came out of 2.0 and they were all gorgeous! I picked one up myself, but I could have easily picked up two. Alongside this three blazers came out with gorgeous print inside. I really loved these, but I’d have never worn them.

Some of the pieces were very hit and miss however and quite frankly I was incredibly disappointed by the fire starters print Black Milk Clothing had created and put out there. It looks like something anyone could photoshop and work on themselves at home. The fire starters are my favourite starter Pokemon so I was really excited to see what Black Milk Clothing would bring out. I wasn’t the only person to complain about this issue. Thankfully there was another design they revealed that I fell in love with!

  • Fire Type Floral Cuffed Shorts (link)

I recently bought my first pair of cuffed shorts from Black Milk Clothing (Isabelle Gingham Cuffed Shorts) and they’re so bloody comfortable! I’m looking forward to wearing them with tights underneath and a cute t-shirt or sweater. I fell in love with the floral fire starters design as it has that 60’s/70’s feel to it that I really do love! Plus I’ve started to bring more pink colours into my wardrobe, which these shorts are perfect for. The fire starters are dotted all over the design, with my two favourites Cyndaquil and Fennekin featuring in perfect places on my pair of shorts! I honestly can’t wait to wear these during the warmer months, especially as lockdown begins to lift again.

  • Psychic Type Longline Evil Tee Dress (link)

This is by far my favourite piece that came out of the Pokemon 2.0 collection and I couldn’t wait to snag it for myself! I bought my first evil tee dress when the Halloween collection came out in 2020 when I picked up the Ghosties Longline Evil Tee Dress and since then I really wanted to grab another one, so this Psychic Type version of the dress was good timing. It’s a gorgeous dark purple colour with lighter purple and blue swirls all over, as well as psychic Pokemon including – Mew, Mewtwo, Espeon, Slowpoke, Starmie, Indeedee, Ralts, Woobat, Meowstic, Espurr, Galarian Ponyta and Galarian Rapidash. It’s just gorgeous and would definitely be a conversation starter when out and about. I don’t know when I’ll wear this next, but I’m planning to rock it soon whenever me and Dane or friends go out and about.

Those are the only two pieces I picked up from the Pokemon 2.0 collection. I mentioned earlier regretting not picking up a few pieces, one of them being the Eeveelution Camo Cargo Pants and the piece mentioned below…

If there is one piece I regret not buying it’s the Snorlax Snoozing Snuggle Suit. I’d bought the Pokemon Dreams Snuggle Suit not long before the second Pokemon collection was announced and I have fallen in love with it. I wear if often, including after work and on days off. I didn’t quite realise how much I was going to fall in love with Black Milk Clothing’s snuggle suits and due to that I regret not buying the Snorlax variant too. I have reached out to ask Black Milk Clothing if this will ever come back in stock and they said maybe at the end of the year. I’ll be keeping my eyes peeled on eBay and Depop in the future for this to show up. Honestly I need it in my life! What I love the most is the colour of it. This is my favourite colour and whilst I’m not the biggest Snorlax fan, he is a sleepy boy and I can relate to that on a big level. πŸ˜›

So, there we have it guys! Honestly I’m so glad that Pokemon has reawakened my love of Black Milk Clothing. I’ve really started to show off my love of dressing quirky and different during the past year and it’s something I’m excited to continue doing in the future, especially with lockdown and restrictions easing!

If you’d like to check out any of the previous posts I’ve written about Black Milk Clothing collections I’ve bought, I’ll pop them below:

What do you think of the pieces I picked up, as well as the other designs from the Pokemon 2.0 collection? Did you buy anything from this collection? Are you planning to pick up any Black Milk Clothing pieces for yourself soon/in the future? Make sure to let me know in the comments below.

Until next time, take care all and I hope you have an amazing weekend!

Quirkory – Mostari Mystery Pack Review AND An Exciting Announcement!

Guys I’m back to talk to you about Quirkory, what an amazing independent artist/store they are… As well as some exciting news, which I’ll be sharing first because I just can’t contain my excitement!

Drumroll please… I have become Quirkory’s brand ambassador!

Not only has this made me really happy (because we all know how much I love Quirkory as a brand, he couple behind it and of course their kawaii designs!) but I feel honoured too. I’m honoured to be able to become an ambassador for a brand I really do love and especially love talking about on my blog, to people on messages/social media and more!

Quirkory were lovely enough to recognised how much I loved them and offered me to become an ambassador towards the end of 2020, with it all starting to become official on my birthday! If you didn’t know, Inari and Mosted are based off of the couple behind Quirkory and are their kawaii mascots for the brand. So, when they suggested me becoming an ambassador a while ago, we also discussed them creating a mascot all of my own to represent me! I gave them an idea and on my birthday they sent over the finished design, which I’m happy to finally show you all!

I went for a raccoon, as they are for sure my spirit animal (as well as one of my favourites alongside foxes, dogs and red pandas), so it seemed right for me. As well as that, I went for a purple bow around their neck, as that’s my favourite colour. I loved the idea of having my mascot with food/drink of some sort, especially considering the name of my blog is to do with coffee! We didn’t go with coffee however and instead opted for a matcha bubble tea, as this is one of my favourite beverages! The end design is so adorable and I couldn’t be happier with it! I’m planning to buy a print of it from Quirkory so I can pop it in a frame and hang it in the house. I’m honestly a mixture of happy and proud to now be more than just a fan/buyer of Quirkory, but now working with them too.

Of course, with being a brand ambassador I do get a special discount code for you guys to use to snag yourself a bargain or two! This code will be “TMBQUIRKORY” and gives you 10% off of Quirkory’s Etsy store. Don’t worry if you need to quickly grab the code in the future and can’t find this post, there’s a few ways this discount code will be accessible.

I’ll be adding the discount code and image, as well as this post under the “Quirkory” section of my blog, as shown in the image above. As well as that, I will of course have the discount code image on the right hand side of my blog, which will be added after this post is live!

Anyhoo, exciting announcement over, it’s time to talk about Quirkory’s Mostari Mystery Pack! This is an item Quirkory revealed and launched towards the end of 2020 and it’s something I KNEW I had to pick up for myself. It’s always nice to pick up a surprise box/bag to see what goodies you get. I know I often talk about Quirkory on my blog and for people who may have never bought anything from Quirkory before and interested, the Mostari pack may be a great way to introduce you to Quirkory!

I’m going to explain what the Mostari pack is all about, as well as prices, what you’ll expect as well as what I received in my pack! I have also done an IGTV video about this over on my Instagram account, which I will post here if you’re interested in watching that alongside reading this post.

The Mostari box comes in three different sizes, bag, mini box and large box.

Bag (Β£20.25) – You will receive three different pins or two different random pins and one surprise item.

Mini Box (Β£27.98) – You will receive three different pins or two different random pins and one surprise item. You will also received one art print and either two jumbo vinyl stickers or one stick pack/sheet.

Large Box (Β£41.59) – You will receive five different pins or four different random pins and one surprise item. You will also received one art print and either two jumbo vinyl stickers or one stick pack/sheet.

I went for the large box, because why not? πŸ˜› It arrived before Christmas and I was SO HAPPY with all of the goodies I received. Quirkory made sure that I didn’t receive any duplicate items and I couldn’t thank them enough for this! To be honest, if I had of received some duplicate enamel pins, I would have gifted them to my friends. πŸ™‚

Mostari Mystery pack: Box or Bag Pins Prints Paper Vynil image 4

Image taken from Quirkory’s Etsy store.

First of all the image that Quirkory designed purely for the Mostari pack is absolutely adorable! It’s Inari and Mosted looking inside the Mostari box in front of them, which is full of sparkle! The name Mostari is also a mash up of Inari and Mosted to sound like mystery!

Inside the box it is full of shredded pink and blue tissue paper, as well as the goodies all in their packages and such. I’m going to talk about all the goodies I received, honestly I couldn’t be happier with them! There is also a thank you card in there with some cute animal designs on! I’d like to think these are Quirkory’s pets…

Every box may contain common, discontinued or new/unreleased items. Due to this each box will have a random different rarity grade:

Common- if containing items with a stock of more than 30 pieces.

Rare – if containing items with a low stock.

Vaulted – if containing items no longer on sale or out of stock.

Surprize – if containing a new item not yet listed for sale/not yet shown to the public.

  • Sticker Pack – Chillin’ Pals Sticker Set (link)

When I saw this in the box, I was so surprised! I’ve been meaning to buy this sticker pack for the longest time, but just keep leaving it for a rainy day when I fancy a treat. I finally have them and they’re so cute! The stickers themselves are matte and not shin. There are four stickers in the pack, all to do with dogs and cats and are original Quirkory designs and even have their own names.

Luci is a black cat and white cat with a blue beanie on and a book in front of them. The book has sparkles and swirls, which I assume are to show Luci getting into the magic of the book.

Doteki is actually my favourite from the bunch and looks to be a shiba who is chilling on Petflix with some film/TV show snacks and even a hot water bottle! Plus, he’s got cute little feet pads and a little cross to show his bum… So cute!

Snoozin is a ginger and white cat who is asleep under the blue fluffy blanket. They’re dreaming about sleeping in a box in the sunshine. Snoozin also has a cute little red bow around their neck.

Yuki is the final design and is a cute little shiba wrapped up for winter months. I don’t know why but this design reminds me of Japan in winter. Yuki is a brown and white suba, with pink earmuffs on, a massive chunky blue tartan scarf and some cute little pink mittens.

  • Art Print – Happy Togedeer Art Print (link)

I’ve seen this print before receiving it in my Mostari pack due to being a Patreon and it was actually a design they released as wallpapers for computers, phones and tablets so it was so cute to receive in my pack! It’s two deer snuggling together, one is white and one is brown, with a little heart above them both. The pale blue background works really well and it says, “Happy Togedeer” at the top. It’s printing on photo paper and feels really lovely. I’m planning to keep either stick this on my plushie cabinet, or keep it somewhere safe for when I eventually get my own desk. πŸ™‚

  • Rare – Mew enamel pin from the Mythical Rising Star collection (link)

This Mew enamel pin is from Quirkory’s first Kickstarter which launched back in March 2019. It’s crazy to think that was almost two years ago! I hadn’t discovered Quirkory at this point but if I had I know for a fact I would have backed for this enamel pin design. Mew is one of my favourite Pokemon and they really captured how playful and cute the psychic Pokemon is with this design! Mew is sat against a blue stained glass design, with a purple bow design on its tail and some star designs hanging from its tail too. This is a chain design enamel pin so it does have something dangling off of it. With Mew the design is a pink and purple swirl, which I assume is based off of it being psychic Pokemon. It’s on a rose gold enamel, is a two back pin for the main body of the design and then another back for the pin for the dangle/chain swirl design too. As well as that on the back of the main design of the piece is Quirkory’s logo. There are loads of designs similar to this one including Diancie, Victini, Celebi, Shaymin, JirachiMarshadow, Manaphy, Zeraora and Meloetta.

  • Rare – Flower Eevee enamel pin from the Cute Eeveelutions collection (link)

This series of flower Eeeveelution is from the Kickstarter that helped me to discover Quirkory after buying some of the Greek Eeveelutions designs through it, as well as after (you can read all about the Greek Eeveelution designs here). The first enamel pin I opened from my Mostari box was this design and it made me smile so much! This cute little Eevee is laid back on a white flower, with it’s fluffy tail dangling below it, I think it’s having a snooze! I love the big green leaves for this flower too, as it compliments the overall colours of Eevee and the flower. This is a gold enamel pin, with two backs and Quirkory etched into the back.

  • Rare – Flower Flareon enamel pin from the Cute Eeveelutions collection (link)

Again, we have another Eeveelution design from the Kickstarter I backed back in 2019. As you can see I also received the Flareon design which really did make me smile. Back when I discovered Quirkory they thanked me for all their support by sending me the Flareon Greek God design, so it’s really nice to get Flareon again! The Flareon, like Eevee is lying on it’s back, but Flareon has its paws up to its face, almost like its giggling at something. It is lying on a purple flower, which like the Eevee design compliments the colours of Flareon’s orange and yellow so well! Alongside the Eevee and Flareon designs, you can also pick up the other Eeveelutions too – Leafeon, Vaporeon, Sylveon, Espeon, Jolteon, Umbreon and Glaceon.

  • Rare – Yamper Corgi enamel pin (link)

The Yamper design is adorable and one I’ve toyed with buying for a while. I actually think the Quirkory design for Yamper is better than the original by Pokemon… πŸ˜› It’s not an overly complicated design and the Yamper definitely shouts corgi when you look at it. It also has a little blep going on, which makes it even more adorable, alongside with the way it’s sat. This is a gold enamel pin, with two pin backs and Quirkory etched into the back of it.

  • Vaulted – Bulbakura Enamel Pin (link)

Alongside the Mew enamel pin, this Bulbasaur enamel pin is also from Quirkory’s first Kickstarter from March 2019. To me this Bulbasaur design is different to anything Quirkory has done since and because of this I’m glad to finally own it! It’s a gold Bulbasaur with a pink cherry blossom on it’s back instead of the bulb we all know and recognise the Pokemon for. Due to the Bulbasaur being gold, of course the enamel is gold too and like pretty much all of the pins I received, it has two backs as well as Quirkory etched into the back of the enamel pin. It’s quite a thick enamel pin to be honest, which is really nice to hold. I can’t wait to display this in the future, the gold makes it lovely and shiny so it’ll definitely be a conversation starter in the future.

  • Surprize – Totodile Patch

This was actually such a surprise and was the first thing I opened when in my Mostari box! I’ve never seen Quirkory sell patches before so if this is an upcoming project I’m excited for it! This is a patch with Totodile on and he’s holding a hose pipe which he’s shooting water out of. It took me a while to realise what it was, but coming out of his head is a needle and thread, which looks really cool and unique. I’m not sure what I’m going to put my patch on yet but I’m sure I’ll find something soon. πŸ™‚

I also received some other goodies in my pack, but this was more of a thank you from Quirkory for supporting them, plus as I’m a Patreon, it was also a thank you for that too! As always, Quirkory also sent a really lovely thank you note. I’m not going to share it as it feels more personal, and I’m not sure if I’ve mentioned before on my blog, but all the thank you notes Quirkory have sent me, I’ve kept. πŸ™‚ They also sent me a special discount code for their store as a thanks for being a Patreon.

  • Detective Pikachu Sticker (link for sticker pack)

This Detective Pikachu design looks to be from a sticker pack, but I honestly love the design I was sent. Detective Pikachu is holding his little takeaway coffee cup and looks adorable as anything! Why do I feel Quirkory sent me this because it’s to do with coffee? πŸ˜› It’s a matte sticker by the way. I don’t have a clue where I’m going to stick him yet, but I’m sure I’ll find something.

  • Whipped Ghost Sticker (link)

This is another design I’ve seen floating around Patreon and one that reminds me of autumn/fall in America. It’s a pumpkin pie with little candy corns on it, as well as a happy dollop of cream! It’s so bloody cute. This is a vinyl sticker. I think Quirkory should definitely do more food themed designs. πŸ˜›

  • Inari & Mosted Christmas and Autumn Stickers (Sorry no link…)

Quirkory sent me some of their mascot stickers and I always smile when they send me some! They’re so cute and I actually have quite a lot of the mascot stickers on my iPad case, including the Christmas Inari and Mosted they sent me from last Christmas (2019). Inari has reindeer antlers on, whilst Mosted wears a Christmas hat. These are small stickers and matte. The other two designs they sent me look like they’re from autumn. Inari is dressed up a cream squirrel and holding onto an acorn whilst Mosted is dressed as a squirrel too but is a dark brown and is holding onto a toadstool/wild mushroom. These two designs are adorable!

Sadly neither of these designs are available to buy on the store, however here are some Inari and Mosted designs you can check out instead – Halloween Stickers and summer stickers.

So that is the Mostari box! I’m so glad I picked one up before Christmas as it was so exciting to open it up! I don’t know if any young Brits from the 90’s remember, but there used to be such a thing as a “surprise” bag you could buy from the shop where it was a sealed bag full of exciting goodies to keep you busy! It would have an activity book, some crayons, as well as a toy and sweeties. My mom would buy me one every now and then and I really did love it. I just googled it ad FOUND IT! It was called Dick Turtle Surprise Bag. This is exactly what the Mostari box reminded me of and it definitely brought back some nostalgic memories, which have been lovely.

I’m going to add all of Quirkory’s social media pages and especially their store below:

Store (Etsy)

Twitter

So, do you think you’ll pick up your own Mostari box? If so, what size would you opt for and what goodies would you hope to get inside your box? Of course if you are interested in getting a box of your own, you can use my discount code to save yourself some monies as well, which is always good! πŸ˜€

Let me know what you think in the comments below and make sure to say hello to Quirkory from me if you find yourself making a purchase, posting on their social media and more. πŸ™‚

Until next time guys, I hope you’re all doing well and keeping safe during lockdown with everything going on. Take care all! πŸ™‚

Birthday/January Wish List ’21

Happy New Year guys! I hope you all have a great New Years, even if it involved you staying it. Not going to lie, some of my best New Year celebrations have been in my own, or someone else’s home.

At the time of writing this we are three days into 2021 and so far so good. I’m back at work tomorrow (4th January) and I feel rested after doing next to sod all the past eleven days and whilst I’d like some more time off, I do feel like being back at work will start to give me stuff to do again during the day.

As well as heading back to work, my birthday is also looming (6th January) and I’m going to be turning 31… I wasn’t arsed about turning 30 last year, but for some reason adding one more year to that has kind of deflated me a little. πŸ˜›

2021 is going to be a year where I start to experiment and “live” a little more. I want to do more with my resin making hobby, including starting to create pieces to sell! I’m also toying with starting to do gaming/chat streams over on Twitch… We shall see as this is a big step.

I’ve not set any resolutions for 2021 but I have said I’d like to read more manga, as well as continue with doing my Beatsaber VR workouts. My mom also bought me a bread maker for Christmas so I’ll be making more bread in 2021 too!

I’m not going to do the whole, “things will be better in 2021!” because I’m happy to take it as it comes. If it’s similar to 2020 with the way COVID has been… Then so be it. As long as I can be safe in my home with Dane and talk to my friends and family via Facetime, Whatsapp and Facebook Messenger, then so be it!

As it is my birthday in a few days I wanted the first post of 2021 to be a wish list post, with goodies I’d like to pick up/receive for my birthday… Mostly goodies I’d buy myself, especially considering two of the items are this list are things I’ve either pre-ordered or ordered. πŸ˜›

So, I hope you’re ready to see lots of kawaii goodies! πŸ˜€

  • Her Universe Kiki’s Delivery Service Jiji Hoodies Cardigan (link)

I verrry much doubt I’ll get this for my birthday or with my own money. I’ve spent so much money before Christmas panic buying from American independent artists and with a 6 week wait until payday, I’m kinda poor this month. πŸ˜› However, I really love this hooded cardigan by Her Universe that I had to mention it this month! I live in cardigans, especially when I’m actually working in the office so I’m always on the hunt for new ones that express who I am, whilst being acceptable to wear. I don’t know if this one would be, but it’s gorgeous. I’d wear it with my tartan trousers, as well as skater skirts and leggings. I’ve never ordered from Hot Topic before, has anyone in the UK before? Please share your experience for the future! However, I may do a big Her Universe order in the future… πŸ˜‰

  • The Sad Ghost Club book by Lize Meddings (link)

I’m a MASSIVE fan of The Sad Ghost Club and view it daily on my Instagram account. The Sad Ghost Club is described as “a club for anyone who’s ever felt sad or lost. It’s the club for those who don’t feel like they’re part of any other club.” and for years it really has helped me when my anxiety and depression are bad and I need to feel less alone. I’ve even sent the page to friends to follow to see if it helps them to feel less alone too. It was announced back in October 2020 and I pre-ordered it as soon as I saw it landed on Amazon. I haven’t read much in 2020 and plan to change that in 2021. I want to spend more time away from technology and with my head in a good manga/novel/comic, including this one. πŸ™‚

  • Pokemon Center Fit Plushie – Dragonite (link) Save 10% from YY Kawaii’s website with the code “YYCOFFEE10”

If there is one plushie I wish I could have picked up last year (as if it’s been a year guys…) when I was in Japan, it’s the Dragonite fit plushie from the Pokemon Center. It wasn’t available to buy whilst we were there and I was gutted. Dragonite is one of my favourite Pokemon and I always have one in my party in the games. I currently have a level 100 Dragonite on Pokemon Shield. πŸ˜› Anyway, I finally bit the bullet and reached out to YY Kawaii about ordering on with her. It should arrive in January and I can’t wait to add it to my collection! I’m planning to keep it on the top of my plushie shelf alongside the plushies I bought in Japan.

  • Pokemon Mew Funko Pop (link)

I just want to get this out there that the link I’ve attached (Double Boxed Toys) has sold out of this figure…BUT I haven’t found it elsewhere for sale in the UK yet… Anyway, I REALLY need this funko pop in my life! Like Dragonite, Mew is one of my favourite Pokemon and whilst I don’t own or really want any of the Pokemon funko pops, I really want this one. I think it’s a pop I would take out of the box and keep on my plushie shelf alongside all my Japanese goodies. Otherwise, I’d keep it in the box eventually for the day I can have my own desk at home to keep it on. πŸ˜›

  • Animal Crossing Mega Isabelle Plush/Pillow (link)

This is something I keep wanting to pick up… But I keep thinking about money too. As many of my regular readers and friends know, I LOVE Animal Crossing and have done since I first discovered it in 2008 when I played Wild World. With New Horizons releasing, a lot of Animal Crossing merchandise has come out in the UK which is amazing. One of these items includes this amazing Isabelle plush/pillow that I really need in my life! It’s not a bad price currently on the website/store I’ve linked and I do keep umming and ahhing about picking it up. I’m going to wait and see my birthday pass in a couple of days and then toy with whether to order it. It’s available at loads of places so it’s not like it’s going to sell out and then I’ll never get it. πŸ˜›

  • Stami Studios Whale Texting Enamel Pins (link)

Finally we have some enamel pins to talk about. To be honest with you all, I think 2021 is the year where I need to have a declutter of my enamel pins, as well as stop buying so many! I’m actually toying with selling some soon. Let me know in the comments if this is something you’d be interested in seeing. I have quite a few Pokemon themed ones I’m contemplating selling. ANYHOO I’ve really fallen in love with Stami Studios designs this year and some that she has released of late have given me some nostalgic feels. Whale texts are something I used to send to my friends all the time back ten plus years ago off my HTC phone. I loved it and I’d love to do it again this year for fun. Due to this, this is why I’m so in love with these designs. You can buy all three designs separately or together. If these are still in stock at the end of January when I get paid, I’m buying these for sure!

So there we have it guys, my monthly wish list for January, as well as my *gulp* 31st birthday.

One of my friends asked me before New Year what I was thinking of doing for my birthday and I had no idea. I knew I wanted to do some baking (currently torn between red velvet cupcakes and a Japanese strawberry shortcake) as my mom’s birthday is the day after mine. So I would be baking for both of our birthday’s really. Alongside that I’m planning to cook some Chinese food for dinner, as well as make some resin goods on Tuesday night that I can continue with on my actual birthday. I’m excited to just have the day with Dane to cook/bake together and do our one hobby together too. πŸ™‚

I’m not gutted about having a lockdown birthday because I don’t know what I would have done out and about anyway! If anything it means when everything has calmed down and we start to go back to “normal” I can do something exciting.

Do you guys have much planned during the third lockdown here in the UK? What items do you have on your wish list for January too? I know we’re all skint at this time of year, so have you bought any sales items? Let me know everything in the comments! I love reading and replying to your comments. πŸ™‚

One more thing to say before I finish this post, I’m taking part in Japanuary over on Instagram! It was created by Cakes With Faces and all you had to do is share a post daily on your social media platform (Instagram for me) with images and some text in relation to the day. I’m really enjoying this challenge so far and it’s keeping my Japan trip alive almost a year on. πŸ™‚

Anyhoo that’s all from me today! I hope you’re all safe and well and 2021 has treated you nice so far. πŸ™‚

Until next time, take care all and Happy New Year!

Japan Trip – Pokemon Cafe

Pokemon Day was just over two weeks ago now (27th February) and as I’ve been back from Japan for a month now… Sad times…

As my first post about my trip to Japan was about the Pokemon Center’s in Tokyo and what I bought, I thought my second post should continue talking about Pokemon! Of course, I can’t not talk about the Pokemon Cafe in Tokyo and my experience there, as well as a haul of what both me and Dane bought from there.

Just a warning this post is going to be a long one… Purely because I want to try and go through as much as I can, including how to book as this is something we had a mini struggle with, as well as anything else that comes to mind in regards to the Pokemon Cafe.

Let’s not chatter anymore, let’s get on with the post!

I knew that if I was going to Japan, I was going to the Pokemon Cafe! There are currently only two in Japan, the newest one in Osaka and the one in Tokyo, which we went to. The Pokemon Cafe’s have only been open a couple of years so it’s still quite a new thing and VERY popular!

First of all, if you want to go to the Pokemon Cafe be ready for a few things:

  1. It can be expensive… But this can depend. If you want to try as much as you can on the menu AND buy merchandise as well, this can add up. For both of us it came to 14,600.00 yen (just over Β£100) but that was for food, drinks AND merchandise and we bought a lot to be honest (as you’ll see in this post).
  2. You NEED to book in advance. If you don’t, you probably won’t get in. I’ll be talking about this in this post. Booking isn’t hard but it’s something you’ll have to think about first out of everything.
  3. If you aren’t keen on mascots “bothering” you then I don’t know if the Pokemon Cafe will be for you. There’s a performance for quite some time with Chef Pikachu and if you have anxiety, or just don’t like this sort of thing… Then Pokemon Cafe might be one to miss… Or at least just go for a quick drink to experience it. πŸ™‚

I didn’t have any issues and if anything, the Pokemon Cafe was one of my favourite things that me and Dane did during our trip to Japan! It was everything I had hoped it would be and more. I kind of wish we went again but at the same time, the one visit made it much more memorable.

The second thing I want to talk about is how you need to go about booking your place at the Pokemon Cafe.

Booking isn’t hard, but it can be tricky. First of all get onto the right website! You don’t need to go through any third parties in order to book the Pokemon Cafe, you can do this directly through them.

Okay… I decided whilst writing this post that I wasn’t going to type and explain to you all how to book the Pokemon Cafe… Instead I am going to link you all to the video that me and Dane watched when we were booking our reservation.

This video from AforAlyce may be from almost 2 years ago BUT IT IS STILL RELEVANT! We used this when booking ours and it was the best guide out there in all honesty.

Some issues we faced however (which wasn’t AforAlyce’s fault) are below:

  • Although Google Translate is handy, it seemed to confuse the website… Especially on the calendar, so make sure to be wary because of this. It also caused some issues in regards to trying to click certain things.
  • The maximum of people you can now book is 8! πŸ˜€
  • At one point you will need to fill in your contact details, you put your name in English AND Hiragana. You can Google your name in Hiragana but we found this a little tricky… Just try your best though!
  • Finally the reservations at the Pokemon Cafe GO QUICK as they are released a month in advance. So, make sure to book your reservation(s) when 9am hits in Japan (UK time 12am) or at least as soon as you can! We booked ours as soon as we could in the morning… Think it was about 6am!
  • MAKE SURE TO ORDER THE EXCLUSIVE GOODIES IF YOU WANT THEM! YOU WILL NOT BE ABLE TO BUY THESE IN THE CAFE!!!!!

Thanks to the help of a friend (Hi Connor!) he suggested the best seat for us, which is the shared counter table and we were sat right in front of Pikachu, YAY! I was so thankful for Connor’s help with this, honestly this was the best seat in the Pokemon Cafe. πŸ™‚ Just a little plug for Connor, but he runs his own blog all about Japan! πŸ˜€ Make sure to go and check it out here!

You sit and wait to be taken to your table at the entrance of the Pokemon Cafe and once your time slot comes up, you are shown to the table/seats you booked! You walk through what feels like a heaven of a cafe… Well, at least if you’re a Pokemon fan! There are displays everywhere, including the plates, cups, bowls and cutlery you use and can buy from the cafe, plushies (some you can buy) and a MASSIVE Snorlax!

There are other displays too, which I knew of before going to the Pokemon Cafe myself, but I didn’t actually go and take a look at them until I was leaving the cafe. This was just due to how quiet the cafe was at this stage… PLUS I wanted to be sat down and start enjoying the cafe!

You’re sat down and you get an iPad to order your menu items from, including drinks. There was so much to choose from! You also have a themed place mat out in front of you, which you flip over to reveal which Pokemon you got!

If you ordered any merchandise whilst booking your place at the Pokemon Center this/these item will be in a brown Pokemon Cafe bag where you’re sitting. I loved this and inside you will find your goodies and even some brown bags for if these are gifts for people back home! I loved this so much and most of all, in the UK you would probably fret and worry if anything was missing due to theft… Not in Japan! I’ll show you what we picked up at the end of the post… πŸ˜›

So, when you are ready to order your drinks and food just tap on the iPad, select your desired language and you’re ready to go!

I’ll be honest, it was hard to choose what I wanted for a few reasons – First being price and second being that I didn’t want toΒ notΒ choose something and regret it later. I’m glad I splurged out and got everything that I wanted!

Drinks I went a bit crazy, but it was mostly because I really wanted to try them and I wanted the glass/mug they came in too. I went for the Pokemon Latte iced with glassΒ and the Gengar’s Okay Hikari Smoothie with glass.

Dane just went for the Pokemon Latte Hot with mug. He wasn’t as greedy as me in regards to drinks. πŸ˜›

The drinks were one of my favourite things from the Pokemon Cafe menu, with my favourite being the Gengar grape smoothie and of course I needed to take the glass home with me. This drink was a really thick slushie (not smoothie) in the classic grape flavour that Japan loves! If you love Grape Fanta, you will adore this and if anything, it’s better! Dane regretted not getting himself one. For a small glass this lasted ages too, it was the last thing we finished before resting our bellies and paying.

The lattes (both hot and cold) were really good! You get to choose from Pokemon No.001 to No.251. I went for Eevee on my iced latte and Dane went for Growlithe on his hot latte. The mug you get your hot latte in is much different from what you get to take home with you if you decided to buy the mug. The mug you get in the Pokemon Cafe is in the shape of a Pokeball, which was really cool! I’ll be showing you guys at the end of the post the mug we got. The glass I got with my cold latte is the same as the one I got to take home. This is honestly one of my favourite things I purchased during our trip to Japan! I love using it for my favourite cold drinks, it just puts a smile on my face at how cute the glass is.

When you order drinks you also get the chance to win some coasters too, one for each drink you order. So, we got the chance to win three! We won two Grookey coasters and (name). The duplicate Grookey sits in my plushie shelf, whereas the other two we won will be stuck in our Japan trip 2020 scrapbook. FYI – You will always win a coaster. πŸ˜‰

When it came down to the food choices, we had LOADS of choice, as well as some limited edition dishes. I was only going to go for one dish, but decided to go for two after discussing it with Dane. I don’t regret this at all… Even when I was so stuffed I couldn’t move!

Food wise I went for the Kabigon’s Manpuku nap lunch plate for my main and the Messon’s berry berry fruit sandwich for my dessert.

Dane went for the Eevee well plate with Eevee plateΒ as his main and the Jigglypuff’s Musical Cheesecake for dessert.

I’m honestly so pleased with the main I ordered, which was the Snorlax nap lunch plate. Inside the Snorlax bowl (in his belly) you get rice with veg and prawns, I didn’t eat the prawns but the rice was AMAZING! It was flavoured really nicely and I enjoyed every bite. On the side you had a salad, some star shaped hash browns, pieces of pork (which were so soft and succulent!) and finally a sauce to dip your meat, hash browns, pour over your salad etc. The whole of the Snorlax nap lunch plate was perfect and honestly I couldn’t have been happier with my choice! I really struggled with what I wanted to pick for my main but I’m glad I chose this in the end.

Dane went for the Eevee plate and got to take a plate home, which we’ve now popped up on our fireplace! The plate was adorable in the sense of it was definitely kawaii and a little bit too good to eat… The first thing I noticed was the rice in the shape of Eevee’s head with edible rice paper for the ears and details of the face. I don’t think Dane minded eating Eevee’s face though… πŸ˜› You also get a salad, some spaghetti/noodles, hash browns, chicken, some sauce and something else that he can’t quite remember.

Whilst we were eating out food Chef Pikachu came around to greet us, which was adorable! This little show must have lasted about an hour max, but that’s with Chef Pikachu moving around the whole of the Pokemon Cafe. Basically, you get a little show from Chef Pikachu where he thanks you for coming to the cafe and you thank him for the food! The show was adorable and I filmed loads of it on my phone, which I’m sadly not going to share on my blog (this is more for personal).

Eventually when Pikachu had thanked us he moved to the next area of the Pokemon Cafe, which meant we could continue to eat our food. I’m not going to lie, it would have been hard (and kind of rude!) to carry on eating our food during the show. The show was at a perfect time though and we definitely had the best place in the cafe for it!

After we finished our mains we waited for our desserts to arrive, which didn’t take long to be honest with you! We were sat near the kitchen so we got our food and drinks pretty quick, which was great.

Originally the only dish I was going to order from the Pokemon Cafe was the Sobble dessert and whilst I loved the dessert I ordered, I’m still glad I ordered more! This is a limited edition dish which is actually finishing after this weekend, however, originally it was meant to end towards the end of January when we were due to come back home. They extended it, which is cool! This was such a lovely, light dessert and I enjoyed it so much! It’s a sponge sandwich type thing that is meant to be the shape of Sobble’s head, with cream and blueberries in the middle. Alongside this you had some more blueberries, a pot of blueberry cream and a little bottle of lemon juice. When your poured the lemon juice into the blueberry cream it turned it from a blue colour to purple! Very cool and I loved it so much, it definitely worked perfectly alongside the type of Pokemon Sobble is.

I have to say I love blueberries but due to how full I was from the main I just couldn’t handle it all, so Dane had to help me finish. I really struggled and that is not a bad thing! For how much you pay to sit and eat these amazing dishes in the Pokemon Cafe, you really do get your moneys worth.

Dane’s dessert looked so cute and seemed perfect to have after a big meal, as it also looked light. The Jigglypuff shape of the cheesecake was kawaii and he couldn’t have chosen anything better! This is sadly now discontinued, so I’m glad Dane picked it up before it was gone forever! It’s a berry cheesecake so had a pink tint for Jigglypuff, some biscuits in the shape of musical notes and some cream and berries. As I said, perfect and light after a big meal!

After we had finished eating and had relaxed our full bellies a little, it was time to head to the till and pay. However, before doing that we made sure to take advantage of the photo opportunities around the Pokemon Cafe and have a nose at the merchandise on offer.

There’s a bench you can sit on in the Pokemon Cafe with huge plushies of both Chef and Waitress Pikachu. This is a great place for all the photo opportunities, which we made sure to take advantage of!

We also took some photos around the Pokemon Cafe at all the displays we viewed briefly as we walked through to our table and there were some pretty cool ones in there such as LEGO version of the Snorlax and Mew that is outside of the Pokemon Cafe AND Pokemon Center Tokyo DX (which you can read about here) and various prints from artists, which are also signed. It’s very cool!

Finally we decided to have a nosey at the merchandises we contemplated picking up. The only I ended up picking up for myself was the Pokemon Cafe red takeaway mug. I’ve wanted it for years, so I knew I wanted to pick it up from the cafe.

When we went to pay we were given the goods we had bought when we ordered our drinks and dishes from the menu, these includes the two glasses (Gengar and iced latte), a Pikachu mug (hot latte) and the Eevee plate from Dane’s main.

I had to add here I was aΒ tadΒ gutted about the mug I received… As Eevee is one of my favourite Pokemon, that’s the one I wanted. However, the staff wouldn’t give me one and said it wasn’t available, so I can only assume it was sold out, which is a shame! There will always be chances to get hold of it from sellers though. πŸ™‚

The service was incredible at the Pokemon Cafe! The staff were all so bubbly and friendly to talk to and the majority of them spoke English too, even when you were trying to/were speaking Japanese, which was really nice.

Finally I want to show you guys all the goodies we came away with from the Pokemon Cafe, because I know you all love that sort of thing! πŸ˜›

First of all I’ll show the goodies we got when we made our reservations. Again, these are exclusive and can only be purchased when reserving your place at the Pokemon Cafe!

PokΓ©mon Cafe Mascot Chef Pikachu – This little plush keychain plus is adorable and it really is a special item for me and Dane. Of course it is Chef Pikachu, the same one (well obvs not EXACTLY the same) that comes around in the cafe and greets you all. This is a mascot plush, so one you would typically keep on your bag and such, but instead we have popped this little guy in our plushie cabinet/case in our bedroom.

PokΓ©mon Mascot Cafe Eevee – Honestly I love this Eevee so much! As many of you MUST know by now, I love Eevee, so when I first saw this little waitress/waiter Eevee I knew we had to order one! I wish this plush was in a bigger size in all honesty. It has the little red cap that the staff wear in the Pokemon Cafe. Like Chef Pikachu, this one is also in our plushie cabinet/case.

PokΓ©mon Cafe Clear File 3 Piece Set (Reservation Bonus 2) – We knew we wanted to get some files for our trip in Japan, as a lot of places we ventured to (aka cafes) have the place mats that you fold/roll up and take home, so we wanted some files that we could do that with. We never actually used these, or any of the other files that we bought for this purpose. Even so these files will be handy for D&D BUT, I have started to wonder if you could frame these and hang them up like prints! These would especially look great around the house and in the kitchen. I have to add, the first file is by far my favourite! The mascots from the Pokemon Cafe are adorable. πŸ™‚

Now onto the items we bought when ordering our food, as well as after when we were paying for our meal/goods. I also want to mention how aside from the Eevee plate, everything we bought below was packaged in sturdy Pokemon Cafe boxes, so we didn’t have to worry too much about bringing everything back… Although I did wrap the glasses and mug up in newspaper just to be sure. πŸ™‚

Gengar Glass – I knew I needed this glass, it just looks really cool! BUT I didn’t quite know what to expect when I saw it out of the box and without the grape smoothie in! It’s a tinted purple glass, with the Gengar face we all know and lo… Are frightened of. πŸ˜› It also has the Pokemon Center logo at the bottom of the glass too. I haven’t used this glass since we got home and if anything we have decided to keep it safe in our cabinet, alongside some of the other goodies we picked up in Japan, including the Pikachu mug we picked up in the Pokemon Cafe too.

Pokemon Cafe Glass – This is one of the few kitchen related items I grabbed from the Pokemon Cafe that I ACTUALLY use. πŸ˜› I love my Pokemon Cafe glass and although I do get so anxious when I use it, I love it so much and it really does make me smile to use. It’s such a gorgeous design and I can’t really describe what the glass is like over than it shouts the Pokemon Cafe at you! On one side you have the Pokemon Cafe logo and a few various images of Chef Pikachu and Waitress Pikachu doing things in the cafe. πŸ™‚ It’s perfect and just reminds me of the cafe whenever I look at it and use it.

Pikachu Mug – This was one of the things that Dane got and you could either choose between the Eevee or Pikachu mug. As I mentioned earlier, we wanted the Eevee mug but wasn’t available for us, so the Pikachu one came home with us and you know what? I actually really love the Pikachu mug! It’s so cute and well made to be honest with you. The handle is Pikachu’s tail, whilst the mug itself has a cute image of the happy Pikachu we have all grown up with over the years. It also has the Pokemon Center logo on the other side of the mug. It’s a lovely bright yellow colour which will really stand out in the cupboard where you keep your mugs!

Eevee Plate – This is the plate Dane got with his meal, of course he got a brand new plate, not the one he ate off of. πŸ˜› This is a sturdy plastic plate in the shape of Eevee’s head and of course has an image of Eevee’s face on the plate too! It’s incredibly cute and I really love it! We weren’t 100% sure what we were going to do with it when we got home and we toyed with many ideas, eventually we decided to display it on our fireplace with one of my Eeveelutions prints and some figures. I love it so much and it really does brighten up our fireplace a litte.

PokΓ©mon Cafe Red Logo Mug – Ever since the Pokemon Cafe opened in 2018 I have been eyeing up this red travel mug… I’ve nearly bought it from sellers on a couple of occasions but left it because I kept saying to myself, “Nat, you’ll be going yourself soon enough to get one yourself.” Two years later and I went and got! I’m so glad I picked this up as the quality is amazing! The lid feels really secure when you pop it on the top and not only can you drink hot drinks from this, but there’s space for a straw in the top too for cold drinks! I use this all the time for work if I fancy a coffee on my way, as well as if I want to grab a coffee as I’m heading to my desk for the day. I always get lovely compliments on it too. The pattern on the mug is similar to the one on the Pokemon Cafe glass I bought, with the Pokemon Cafe logo and some words.

So, would I recommend going to the Pokemon Cafe? Excuse my language but FUCK YES! If you are going to Japan and happen to be in Tokyo or Osaka (or both places for that matter!) then I would highly recommend to book yourself a reservation to the Pokemon Cafe before you go! Of course if you aren’t a fan of Pokemon, this may not be for you but honestly if you are, or at least were as a kid this will definitely bring back some nostalgia for you.

It was up there as one of my favourite places to go, as well as eat at whilst we were in Japan and I already know as and when I venture to Japan again, I’ll definitely book a reservation for the Pokemon Cafe for a second time. It was worth every penny and I was so happy during my time there.

What do you guys think of the Pokemon Cafe? Would you love to go? Go over to the website and tell me what you would order from the menu! Have you been to the Pokemon Cafe before? Let me know in the comments with which one you visited and what you had to eat.

Until next time, take care all and I hope you’re having a lovely weekend so far! πŸ™‚

Japan Haul #1 – Pokemon Center

Guys it is officially the first post of my Japan trip and I am so excited to share it with you today!

I decided to kick start this post with two things I love, hauls and Pokemon. YES I will be sharing with you guys not only the goods I picked up from the Pokemon Center, but a quick glimpse of the Pokemon Center’s I ventured to as well as some random Pokemon bits and pieces too.

As a lot of you know, I am a massive fan of Pokemon and have been since the young age of 9 (I lose track of how old I was but I think I was roughly this age?). I’ve never looked back and it’s still a massive love of mine 21 years later.

Of course when I went to Japan I HAD to go to the Pokemon Center… More than one to be fair. πŸ˜› I ventured to the Tokyo DX, Tokyo Station and Shibuya (Parco). Me and Dane did try to go to Mega Tokyo in Sunshine City, but this was closed. They’re currently refurbishing it for renewal, which will reopen in Spring this year! Sad that we missed out on that store… They did have the Pokemon Go Lab, which is a Pokemon Center… But full of Pokemon Go merch! We walked past and had a glace, but we weren’t bothered about going in to be honest with you… We don’t play Pokemon Go as much as we used to… Although we may get back into it for some fitness.

Years ago I discovered the Pokemon Center existed in Japan back in around 2011 when I finished university. I had loads of time on my hands and found out LOADS about it! I wanted to go, be there and experience it myself. I’d search for YouTube videos, just so I could see what it was like and imagine I was there. I never thought I’d get to go to the Pokemon Center myself, so being able to go with Dane was something magical for me and I was so excited.

The first one we went to was the Tokyo Station one, which is tiny! I was fascinated by all the plushies they had in there and wanted to buy so many. They also had a limited coin machine you could get a printed brass/copper coin from too for just 200 yen. I didn’t get one on my first trip. I went back and picked one up.

Just an FYI with this post, I won’t be including prices, as most stuff I honestly don’t remember… I just remember buying lots of stuff I wanted and paying a lot of money… πŸ˜›
I bought a few plushies from the Tokyo Station Pokemon Center including a Cyndaquil plushie and a Poke Doll Mew plushie. Surprising, Cyndaquil is one of my favourite Pokemon and out of all the games, it’s also my favourite starter to choose from too.
Later that day we ventured over to the Tokyo DX Pokemon Center, as we had the Pokemon Cafe booked (which I will be talking about on another post soon!) for the evening and Tokyo DX is right next door!

Just entering the building that takes you up to the Pokemon Centre and Cafe is amazing. There are four pictures that line the sides of the room which are COVERED in loads of different Pokemon and a lift in the middle. You have to take the left up to the 5th floor in order to get to both the Pokemon Center and Cafe. The doors open behind you when you reach the 5th floor and you’re met with a massive Snorlax, Mew and Pikachu statue in front of you with the Pokemon Cafe on the left and the Pokemon Center on the right of it. I was in awe and felt like a little kid. I was FINALLY at a Pokemon Center and I knew then that I was going to enjoy this moment the best I could. I took as much in as possible.

We had plenty of time to look around the Pokemon Center before our slot at the Pokemon Cafe was due, so we made sure to spend as much time shopping, taking photos and admiring the store as we could.

When you enter the Tokyo DX store they have a history wall to showcase and celebrate all of the Pokemon games that have come out, so from Red, Blue and Yellow back in 1996 to where we are now with Sword and Shield! It was amazing.

As well as that, outside where the area is for the statue (which separates the Pokemon Cafe and Center) there are little silhouettes of all Pokemon to date that cover the wall around the area. This was pretty cool to have a look at and we made sure to glance over as many of the silhouettes as we could! They have so much space leftover too to add anymore Pokemon, which is really cool. They clearly thought the idea through before doing it, which is amazing!

One thing I took advantage of at the Pokemon Center is the birthday discount you can get. If you visited the Pokemon Center (apart from the Tokyo Station, the other two I mentioned above did this!) on the month of your birthday you could get a birthday card, a crown AND 5% off that day in the Pokemon Center, amazing eh?! I made sure to take advantage of this. I just needed to show my passport as proof and I was okay. You get to write down what name you would like in your card (I did this twice I did one with Nat and the other with Natalee) and they get a crown for you too. On the back of the birthday card is the discount, which you MUST use that day (and I assume only in that store too?), which I made sure to do!

I don’t think I grabbed the discount when I visited the Tokyo DX store for a second time, which I was a tad annoyed about as I bought more than I intended to… OOPS!

I’ll talk about each store for now and of course, mention what I bought from there too.

First of all I’ll share what I picked up from the Tokyo Station store.

Mew Poke Doll Plush – I LOVE the Poke Doll plushies from the Pokemon Center and as I already own four of the Eeveelution Poke Dolls already, I know I wanted to get this Mew to add to my collection. Mew is one of my favourite Pokemon’s and when I saw and looked at this cute little Mew, I knew I had to pick it up. It’s eyes are huge, so kawaii!

Cyndaquil Poke Plush – Cyndaquil is actually my favourite starter Pokemon and has been since I first played Pokemon Silver in 2001. I knew that during our Japan trip I would pick up a Cyndaquil plushie at some point. I ended up getting two in the end (the second one was from a second hand store, so won’t be included on this post) which I wasn’t shocked by. At first I picked up one of the Pokemon Fit plushies but when I saw a bigger plush for just 100 yen more, I decided to pick this one up. It’s flame back is so damn fluffy and bushy! I couldn’t have asked for a better Cyndaquil plushie to be honest with you.

Dratini Plush Keychain – This was something I had been eyeing up loads during the whole holiday, as I had seen it through YY Kawaii when the campaign it came from first came out. I put off buying it until the last couple of days we were there. I wanted it, so I decided to pick it up! It’s a cute little Dratini plush keychain that has found its home on my Kanken backpack. If the weathers rubbish (which, let’s face it, has been awful lately!) I’ll take it off and pop it into my backpack until the weather improves. In Japan a lot of people (both men and women of all ages!) had plush mascot keychains on their bags, which I loved seeing! I’ve hardly seen it since getting back to the UK and it makes me sad. I like to think someone will see my backpack and my Dratini will make them smile. πŸ™‚

As I mentioned previously in the post, I ventured to the Pokemon Center in Shibuya, but to be honest with you I only bought one thing (which is why I’m showing this Pokemon Center next)! The Pokemon Center itself was incredibly impressive with the Mewtwo in the glass tank, as well as some of the exclusive Shibuya goods. However, as we had previously ventured to the Tokyo DX Pokemon Center, this was incredibly underwhelming… Size wise anyway and the sort of items on offer.

Eevee Roll Cookie Tin – I had looked for this cookie tin in the Tokyo DX store, but all of the Eevee ones had gone, with only the Pikachu ones left. I like Pikachu… But not as much as Eevee! These have been opened by me and Dane and eaten some of the yummy treats! The roll cookies come in chocolate and honey flavours and they’re gorgeous! You didn’t get the chocolate ones in the Pikachu tin. I don’t know what I’ll be doing with the tin after all the goodies are eaten. πŸ˜›

So, I have saved the best until last… In terms of Pokemon Center’s… I found that Tokyo DX was my favourite out of the three I went to as it was the biggest and hence had more variety! It also had loads of artwork to take photos with. OH and the Pokemon Cafe was next door. πŸ˜› I visited this Pokemon Center twice, as I just felt the need to go again to spend my monies. πŸ˜›

I’ve been so excited to share with you guys all the goodies I bought and what better item to start off with, than with an adorable plushie! πŸ˜›

Mew Sekiguchi Plush – I have wanted this plushie for about 4 years, so when I saw it in the Pokemon Center I knew I had to grab it! It wasn’t cheap, but I knew I was expecting to spend a lot of money in the Pokemon Center anyway so… Yeah. πŸ˜› I think this was 2,900 yen, which in pounds works out around Β£20. This is so fuzzy and squishy which is amazing! It’s definitely something that stands out in my plushie case (it’s a book case full of plushies :P) which I love. I honestly regret not picking up the Eevee, Umbreon and Espeon Sekiguchi plushies too. 😦

Pokeball Random Mini Plush (Eevee) – This was a spontaneous item I picked up from the Pokemon Center and it was purely because me and Dane thought it would be fun to have a go and see which Pokemon we get! We could have gotten two different Pikachu’s, Bulbasaur, Charmander, Squirtle, Vulpix, Gengar, Snorlax, Mew, or Eevee, which is the Pokemon we got! It’s adorable and I couldn’t have asked for a better Pokemon to have inside the Pokeball. πŸ™‚ The Pokeball clips into itself so it’s easy enough to open and close. I hate it open on my plushie case with the Eevee inside.

Eeveelution PuzzleΒ – Me and Dane love doing puzzles together so when we spotted this Eeveelution one, we knew that we had to pick it up! It’s not a massive one, but it’s one we will make up and hang up in the house somewhere. πŸ™‚

Mofu Mofu Eevee Mirror – I didn’t really need a new pocket mirror for my backpack, but I fell in love with the Mofu Mofu Eevee collection and whatever I found with the Mofu Mofu design on, I wanted. I started using this mirror when I got back to the UK and sadly, my first outing with this and using it, my perfume bottle leaked and it’s ruined some of the pattern on the front. 😦 This being said, it’s still kawaii!

Mofu Mofu Eevee Bento Lunch Pouch – I wanted so much more from the Mofu Mofu collection, especially the lunch related goods. I knew I couldn’t buy them all however, so I just picked up the lunch pouch, which I’ve been using for work to take my lunch in… Obviously. πŸ˜› It’s so damn cute, it makes me happy to take my lunch to work in.

Eevee Cookie Tin – If there was one thing that the Pokemon Center has loads of, it was cookie tins! If anything, I regret not buying more. πŸ˜› I picked up this Eevee cookie tin, as I’ve seen it around for years and knew I wanted to pick it up. The cookies inside are chocolate, with white chocolate in the middle. This is really nice, but to be honest they do leave a funny aftertaste in your mouth.

Camera Strap – July last year I treated myself to a new camera, a mirrorless one at that both for my holiday to Japan, as well as in general. As much as I love my digital SLR, it can be quite a chunk to carry around. Anyhoo, the camera strap that came with my new Sony camera is horrible and would cut into my neck… Not good! I noticed this Pokemon camera strap for sale and decided to get it! It has some of the more popular Pokemon on the strap itself, as well as a handy lens cap holder too! This was great to have whilst we were travelling around Japan and just wanted to keep taking photos, without the worry of losing the lens cap. I love this strap so much, its one of my favourite purchases during the holiday

Just an FYI – I bought a LOT of stationary related stuff from the Pokemon Center! I’ve been using it a lot for my Dungeons & Dragons sessions, as we as writing down notes here and there for my blog. πŸ™‚ I love stationary and have always wanted stationary from the Pokemon Center, so it was just something I knew I was going to buy a lot of. πŸ˜›

Mofu Mofu Eevee Notebook – I have too many notebooks… I needed this one though. It’s adorable! I don’t quite know what I’m going to use it for as of yet… Maybe blog related stuff whilst I’m out and about? Dungeons & Dragons in the future? I don’t know… πŸ˜› I just needed it! The designs on the front are adorable, with all the Eevee’s doing different things such as sleeping on books, holding quills in their mouths and sitting in teacups. Cute! There’s designs in the book too, with the Eevee holding the quill in it’s mouth again.

Mofu Mofu Clear File – I bought quite a few clear files whilst I was in Japan, but this is my favourite one by far! I actually bought this to keep my files in for Dungeons & Dragons, but as of yet I haven’t had the chance to use it. The image on the front of the two Eevee’s is so adorable, I’d frame it to be honest! πŸ˜›

Mofu Mofu Eevee Pen Case – I didn’t need a pen case… But due to how much stationary I bought whilst I was on my holiday, I kind of had to! That and the pencil case I use currently for all my stationary items is from when I was studying my GCSE’s at school… Which was 15 years ago now! That pencil case is great, but I wanted something smaller and more refreshing! This one is a perfect signs for everything I bought on the trip, and I really enjoy taking it out with me. It’s so cute to bring out of my bag when I want something to write with. The image of the Eevee’s cuddling together on he one side is so kawaii!

Mofu Mofu Eevee Mechanical Pencil and Pen – The blue design is the pen, the red is the pencil. There were four designs/colours in total including the blue and red ones I own, as well as a brown (pencil) and green (pen I think). I didn’t really want anymore mechanical pencils as I have a pink one I really love (well… loved until I bought my new ones in Japan :P) to use so I didn’t need another mechanical pencil. I picked up the pen, which is black ink and was happy. When I went back to the Pokemon Center, I ended up picking the pencil up too and I don’t regret it! The pencil writes really well and I much prefer it to my pink mechanical pencil to be honest with you! The designs on them both are gorgeous with the fluffy, happy Eevee designs all over.

Mofu Mofu Eevee Washi Tape – I decided whilst I was in Japan that I would become a washi tape collector… Purely because I’m working on a scrapbook soon about our trip to Japan and wanted to use cute patterned washi tape to make the scrapbook look pretty inside. Of course I couldn’t not pick up the mofu mofu design, which is just loads of cute Eevee’s running along the tape. I haven’t opened this yet and don’t plan to until it comes to me using it.

Pikachu Mechanical Pencil Lead – Due to now owning a total of four mechanical pencils, it’s always good to make sure to have plenty of pencil lead for these! I couldn’t get a mofu mofu Eevee design (they didn’t make one…) so instead I picked up a cute Pikachu design instead, which is kind of similar to the mofu mofu design. This came with quite a lot of 0.5 size led inside already, but as I owned some already from my first mechanical pencil, I decided to add them into this holder. I’ll never run out of led now!

Eevee, Vaporeon, Jolteon, Flareon, Dragonite and Mew B-Side Label Stickers – Finally we have some stickers from the Pokemon Center. I’d heard about the B-Side label stickers from YY Kawaii and had always wanted to buy some… But never did. However, when I was in the Pokemon Center, I went overboard! I bought three when I went for the first time and then another three when I went the second time! There were cheap at 350 yen (Β£2.43) but the more you picked up, the more the price wound up! I picked up the Eevee, Dragonite and Mew stickers as these are my three favourite Pokemon. So, when I visited the Pokemon Center again, I knew I had to pick up the rest of the original Eeveelutions from Gen 1 as they were at the till I was being served at. I have zero regrets, I just don’t know where to stick them now. πŸ˜›

Overall, that is my haul from the Pokemon Center’s in Tokyo! I did buy more Pokemon goodies which were official from other stores, secondhand, or from kuji’s both me and Dane played on. I’ll be talking about those in another post in the future.

What did you guys think of the Pokemon Center’s I ventured to? As well as the goodies I picked up? What would you pick up from the Pokemon Center if you had the chance to go? Make sure to let me know in the comments!

Until next time all, take care and I hope you’re having a lovely weekend so far, I’m poorly at the moment… Which sucks. 😦

May Wish List ’19

Wow as if it’s May already! It’s pretty crazy just how quick 2019 is going but at the same time it’s kind of depressing… It means I’m not only getting closer to turning 30 but also getting closer to one of my life goals. I want to go to Japan after my 30th birthday but at the moment I’m worried this is just going to continue to be a dream.

This is something I’ll go into another time. For now it’s time for my monthly wish list! I’ve been really loving getting a style again apart from baggy joggers and a t-shirt. I picked up a pair of mom jeans in April and I love them to death so I’m trying to get more geeky t-shirts lately so I can get myself a real geeky look going on! πŸ˜€

To be honest I need to really chill out with money lately as I do really want to save up for Japan and whilst it isn’t going bad right now, it isn’t going as quickly as I’d have hoped.

For now however, I hope you enjoy this months wish list! I feel like it’s a really boring list, but whatever. I love all the items that are on it and I hope you guys do too.

  • Lime Crime Best Of Lip Reds (link)

This is a set I have wanted since Christmas to be honest with you, but I just never picked it up. I guess I wasn’t sure of the price at the time and I was skint due to Christmas, as well as both mine and my mom’s birthdays. I’ve been keeping my eyes on this set though for ages on the website and during Easter it went REALLY cheap, almost half price in fact. Finally I bit the bullet and purchased the set! I rather like Lime Crime and miss wearing liquid lipsticks a little for their staying power. This set is gorgeous and will work great for when I fancy wearing reds throughout the year, whether it be for work, in the beer garden or for blog events. πŸ™‚ I’m glad I waited and picked this up for cheap!

  • Monsoon Celleni Star Print Midi Dress (link)

I’ve had my eye on this dress for just over a month now. I saw it when I was out in Leamington Spa looking for possible new work pieces for when I was due to start my new job. I spotted this dress and thought what a gorgeous colour and print it was and had on it. I do rather like a good maxi dress but as of yet I’ve actually never tried a midi dress. I tried one on the day I was out shopping and rather liked it, the reason for not buying said dress was the fit on the arms was shit! πŸ˜› This dress is really expensive so I’m waiting for it to go down in price before I make the jump at it. πŸ™‚

  • Detective Pikachu T-Shirt (link)

I’m so damn excited for Detective Pikachu! It’s less than a week away now and I’ve already booked tickets to go and watch it. I am THAT excited for this movie! Not only am I a huge Pokemon fan, but Ryan Reynolds is also my favourite actor. When I saw this t-shirt for sale on EMP I KNEW I had to get it! I’ve ordered it before this post went live and I’m actually hoping it arrives soon so I can dress it up with my mom jeans and my Vans.

  • Miss Kobayashi’s Dragon Maid T-Shirt (link)

This is a t-shirt I’ve had saved on my eBay account for the longest time, but as of yet I just haven’t ordered it. It’s from China, which to be honest I am always hesitant to order from for various reasons. The photos always look better than the actual product. I’ll see how I feel still in regards to this t-shirt, but again like the Detective Pikachu t-shirt I would really love to rock this with mom jeans.

  • Himouto! Umaru-chan Vol. 5 (link)

Towards the end of April my reading just shot straight up! I haven’t been reading properly for ages due to having too much shit going on so now I’ve finally had the chance to sit and read during my work break, it’s lovely. When I’ve caught up on this series I’ll definitely pick up this volume to read next. I do really love reading manga and if anything I’ve forgotten lately just how much I love reading it.

  • Pandora Bull Terrier Puppy Pendant Charm (link)

Pandora have recently released their adorable pets charms and I am in LOVE with all the puppy versions they’ve released, including this bull terrier one. Randomly I used to really want a bull terrier growing up so I would love to add this charm to my bracelet as a reminder of younger Nat and the pet that she wanted when she grew up. I’d never get one now to be perfectly honest with you, even though a part of me would still love to deep down.

  • Chocolate Raisin Fury Starry Sky Of Creation Mew T-Shirt (link)

The last item on this list and it’s ANOTHER t-shirt! I was meant to mention Chocolate Raisin Fury’s t-shirts back in last months wish list post but I kind of forgot to be honest with you. I discovered Chocolate Raisin Fury at MCM Comic Con Birmingham back at the end of March and I am so thankful for it. I LOVE her designs so much and I definitely need to own more in my life! I have my eye on all of the Studio Ghibli designs but I REALLY love this Mew design at the moment and would love to add it to my geeky t-shirt collection!

So that is my wish list for May! What items do you guys have on your wish lists this month? Make sure to let me know in the comments as well as what item(s) you like on my list (if any! :P).

Until next time take care all and I hope you’re having a lovely weekend so far.

July Wish List ’17

Wow we’re not on month seven of the year! Officially over half way through now. Two months left until my holiday and hopefully more hot weather will be upon us too. It’s been gorgeous lately and I don’t want it to end… Well apart from at night when I want to sleep.

Speaking of my holiday I recently wrote a holiday wish list and I hate writing wish lists close together, but this one will be different… It’ll have a bit of everything on it. This being said I am on a spending ban for the holiday. I need to save up monies for it, otherwise I’ll have next to sod all to take with me!

This wish list was actually really hard to put together to be honest as whilst I often say, “OMG I WANT THIS! OMG I WANT THAT!” more often than not it’s not something I want that badly.

I have tried really hard with this list though and I hope you appreciate it. πŸ˜‰

EDIT: I ended up searching Etsy and Redbubble for some ideas based on Persona 5, so yeah there’s lots of that stuff here! πŸ˜› FUCK YOU REDBUBBLE! πŸ˜›

  • Kat Von D Beauty ‘Rock Candy Studded Kiss’ Lipstick Gift Set – Β£34.00 (link)

I have been eyeing up this lipstick gift set since it was released in April in America. It’s only recently come out in the UK, exclusively at Debenhams of course. They’re little miniature sizes of the studded kiss lipstick AND they’re limited edition colours. COME ON KAT MAKE THESE PERMANENT SHADES! You get six shades in here and all of them are my types of lip colours! From purples to pinks, there’s a shade in here for every occasion for me. I nearly ordered this last week but left it due to lack of funds. I am so damn tempted to order it though considering it’s limited edition. I think it’s a great price as well, even for miniatures. I’m already planning on at least getting them to take on holiday with me, as these are all the shades I would need, AND THEY’RE SMALL!

  • JennifairyW Cute Chubby Pokemon Espeon Charm – Β£4.00 (link)

I’m a massive fan of JennifairyW’s work as it’s just kawaii and cute! I’ve had my eye on all her Eeveelution charms for a while now but if I had to pick one it would be Espeon. I’d keep it on my car keys, maybe even eventually buy all of them to keep on my Pokemon handbag I recently bought (you can check that out here!). Either way check out her Etsy page, because her artwork is so damn adorable!

  • Persona 5 Joker Hardcover Journal by ClearClarity on Redbubble – Β£12.00 (link)

I am in love with Persona 5, like so damn much right now and it’s kinda creepy. I mean it’s not a bad thing to love something, but I haven’t fallen in love with something so much since Pokemon. So much so I went in search on Redbubble for some goodies I could get myself in the future. I stumbled across the artist/seller ClearClarity and their Persona 5 character artwork is beautiful and definitely the best I have seen to date. I want to buy EVERYTHING and display it in the house! My favourite character is Joker, who you play in the game. I have a little crush on him too! :’) BUT I wouldn’t mind getting a journal for Fuerteventura, or at least another one to go with my Cath Kidson 101 Dalmatians journal. I’ll definitely be getting this at some point before the holiday.

  • The Body Shop Precision Eye Massager – Β£8.00 (link)

I have the twin-ball facial massager by The Body Shop and it’s amazing! Although I bought it a year ago I’ve only recently been using it more than ever. I’ve been using it on my eyes too after using my eye gel to cool my eyes down and de-puff them. NOW The Body Shop has created a tool similar to this but specifically for the eyes, which is great! I want to get it when I get paid as I love using things like this on my eyes, especially with a cooling eye gel. I know Dane likes this too so he can’t complain about me spending my money on it. πŸ˜›

  • Persona 5 Morgana A-Line Dress by Kaluma on Redbubble – Β£45.00 (link)

This is pretty expensive for what it is and whilst I wouldn’t even pay this price for a Black Milk Clothing dress, I do love how unique this dress is and the design. AGAIN it’s Persona 5 related but this time it’s Morgana, the cat sidekick to Joker and the rest of The Phantom Thieves. I love how there’s a little Joker on Morgana’s head, so cute! I doubt I would buy this to be honest due to how expensive it is, but if I had some spare cash and I fancied treating myself, this would be in the cart! This would especially be nice to wear on hot days and holidays with some sandals.

  • Plushishop Pinky & Blue Mew Pokemon Notepads – Β£8.13 (link)

I love notebooks, pads and journals so much and I have a small collection of them in the office. Most of them I save for “special” but most I also use to write random notes in for my blog and lists of things me and Dane need to do or buy. I would love one of these notepads to leave in my handbag to jot notes down, especially when I get blog ideas and want to write them down! Out of the four I found the Mew themed one to be the cutest, especially considering the designer also included the blue Mew, how cute! πŸ˜€

  • Persona 5 Joker Art Print by ClearClarity on Redbubble – Β£10.91-Β£33.18 (link)

Me and Dane REALLY DON’T NEED anymore art prints for the house, as we can’t even decide where we want the ones we’ve owned for a year! Oh dear… >.< BUT I can’t resist the Joker print that ClearClarity has for sale… And to be perfectly honest I don’t know if I can resist the others either! I would love to get this to put up in the office. I’d love to have it in the living room but I don’t know if me and Dane would be able to mutually agree with that. I’d want to get the small prints and pop them all in one frame to create a sort of collage. We shall see what happens!

So those were my wish list items for July! It was incredibly hard for me to think of anything apart from the Kat Von D lipsticks and The Body Shop eye massager. I’m quite pleased I went and researched Persona 5 items on Redbubble mind, as I have discovered an amazing artist who I’m sure I’ll be buying from soon!

What items do you have on your wish lists this month? Make sure to let me know in the comments.

Until next time take care all and I hope you had a lovely weekend!

Wish List Wednesday – Pin Badges

I haven’t written a wish list Wednesday for quite a while now, or at least I don’t recall… Actually it’s only been over a month. Jeez am I getting that old I forget so quickly? πŸ˜› So I thought why not do one now! I seem to have grown a new love of pin badges lately and I actually don’t know why. I used to love them growing up and would collect them as and when I could, but sadly that little hobby died although I do still own all the pin badges I collected back in the day.

So thanks to beauty bloggers Instagram pages I have now formed a new hobby, pin badge collecting. They’re mostly all geeky ones too and especially Pokemon themed. So why not make a wish list post about what pin badges I want to have in my new collection and shape my new hobby!

  • PinPalzUK – Sailor Mew Pin -Β£5.00 (link)
  • SpaceCadetCollective – “Blottertung” Lickitung Pin – Β£9.94 (link) and “Kantodex” V Pin -$23.00 (link)
  • ReallyBigDill – Togepi Surprise Pin – Β£8.90 (link)
  • TheSundayCo – Pokeball Deathstar Pin – Β£5.72 (link) and Hey Gurl Pin – Β£5.72 (link)
  • CosmeticMermaidPins – Free to Good Trainer Pokemon Pin – Β£11.45 (link)
  • AgainstMarj – Cubone Pin – Β£8.29 (link)
  • SourAttitudeClub – 8bit Eevee Pin – Β£8.70 (link), 8bit Surfing Glitterchu Pin – Β£8.70 (link) and 8bit Ditto Pin – Β£8.70 (link)

I know I usually write about each item, on wish list posts but I really don’t feel the need to on this one. All of the pins are Pokemon related bar one which is Adventure Time. My favourite pin badge out of the bunch is the Kantodex pin by SpaceCadetCollective. It opens up and is glittery, what isn’t to love? I’d stick it on my bag or on one of my jackets.

Do you like pin badges? If so which ones do you own or are lusting after? Make sure to let me know in the comments!

Until next time take care all and I hope you had a lovely weekend.

Christmas ’16 Wish List

Ahh Christmas is just 20 something days away and it’ll be here before we know it! I pretty much have most of my Christmas present shopping done now which is great BUT what do I want for Christmas? Let me just add that this list was pretty damn hard to do as this year I found that I didn’t want all that much… I wanted a lot of make up if anything (Jeffree Star, Kat Von D and Korean beauty mostly!) so I didn’t want my list to be full of those things. Check out my wish list to find out what I decided to put on my list to Father Christmas. πŸ˜‰

  • South Park: The Fractured But Whole The Coon Figurine – Β£11.99 (link)

If regular and old readers haven’t realised by now how much of a South Park fan both myself and Dane are then what the hell have you NOT been reading? We love South Park and I especially love the video games. I have 100% completed The Stick Of Truth and I’m eagerly awaiting the next game, The Fractured But Whole. I’m currently collecting the figures from the first game and of course I couldn’t NOT collect the ones from the second. Not only that but for Halloween in 2015 me and Dane both dressed as South Park characters, Dane as Mysterion and me as The Coon. So getting this would mean an awful lot to me. Although me and Dane have discussed about getting the bundle of these figures, which you can check out here.

  • Pokemon Pikachu Molded Mug – Β£15.00 (link)

Dane actually showed me this mug about a month ago when he was looking for some Christmas and birthday present ideas for me and I shrugged it off and said, “Meh we don’t need anymore mugs in the house.” BUT after a lot of thought I changed my mind and said how it would make a lovely edition, due to how unique it is. That and it reminded me of a Pikachu mug I made in art/pottery class well over 10 years ago when I was at school. It was awful but I loved that mug and used it as a pencil pot instead. So it would be lovely to use this in the cold mornings before work.

  • Pokemon Center Mew MokoMoko Plush – Β£28.99 (link)

Another Pokemon item! This time it’s Mew. I love Mew just as much as I love the Eeveelutions and sadly although my Eevee plushie collection is building up nicely, my Mew one remains small with me only owning one plush… Sad times. I’m hoping to change this next year however and what better way to start that than with this beautiful and soft looking Mew plushie! Of course from the Pokemon Center in Japan. It looks so soft and fluffy but sadly it isn’t cheap and I would have to wonder how big this must be to be at such a high price.

  • ColourPop x Hello Kitty Lippie Stix in shade Let’s Play – $5.00 (link)

Ew I said I wouldn’t add make up to this Christmas wish list but urgh I have to add something! One item won’t hurt, surely??? When I found out that ColourPop were going to have a Hello Kitty collection I went a little bit ape shit but said I wouldn’t buy anything due to the expensive shipping prices. However thanks to sellers on eBay it doesn’t cost as much as it would do to order from over the pond. I really love Let’s Play as it’s a gorgeous cranberry red with pink shimmer throughout. Perfect for the Christmas and winter season to wear to parties, at work and for shopping trips. I might end up treating myself to this on payday next week instead though. πŸ˜›

  • CraftyFoxCollective Iridescent Metal Effect Purple Quartz Crystal Pendant Black Leather Cord Necklace – Β£5.25 (link)

I’m not much of a jewellery wearer for many reasons, my main one due to work but I would love to start wearing necklaces I have always wanted to. I wear my one choker quite a lot and bought a thick velvet choker a few months back to wear (even though I hate it…) so I want to start buying more. This is a necklace I really like the look of and it doesn’t even cost that much! I saw some like this when I went down to London last month and I regret not buying it! Rainbow crystals like this one just make me happy to look at, so I would love something like this to wear all the time. They’re pretty easy to find on Etsy, but this was my favourite of the bunch.

  • Yankee Candle Cherries On Show Large Jar – Β£21.99 (link)

OMG when I saw this in a couple of Yankee Candle shops I was so damn happy! Sadly it isn’t on the official UK website… Why? I don’t have a clue! This was a permanent scent for Christmas years and years ago but after two years it was discontinued so when I saw it was back I got super excited and have told loads of people that I want it. QVC have them on a special offer at the moment, so I may try and persuade someone to get one or two for me whilst they’re around. πŸ˜› This is one of my favourite Yankee Candle scents so I would love to have it back in my life again. πŸ˜›

  • Black Milk Clothing For Fox Sake Grey Toasties – $80.00 AUD (link) and For Fox Sake Cap Sleeve Skater Dress – $90.00 AUD (link)

I LOVE Black Milk Clothing and I search at least two or three times a week for items I can pick up second hand on eBay, so when I watched their latest YouTube revealing their Christmas collection this year I got super excited. They have not just one but TWO fox themed pieces this year which look adorable! Of course there are the pictures above of the two pieces of clothing, leggings and a dress. The leggings are my favourite of the two at the moment due to them being toasties, which means they’ll keep your legs lovely and warm when it’s cold outside. Could definitely do with those for Christmas! I’d wear them for New Years as well as my birthday. The dress is Dane’s favourite of the two and I do get why. It would be lovely to team up with a burgundy cardigan, some tights, boots and a big coat for Christmas parties, as well as for Christmas day. I doubt I will get either of these for Christmas as they are hella expensive, but I’ll keep hopeful for them… Or at least one of them. πŸ˜›

So that is my Christmas wish list for this year! What items do you have on your lists?

Throughout the Christmas period I will be writing a couple of gift idea posts including Final Fantasy for definite, possibly Christmas jumpers, as well as many many more!

What posts would you like to see though throughout December? Make sure to let meΒ  know in the comments down below! I know I’ve been really quiet recently due to me being super busy with work and the house, but I’ll be trying to write plenty of posts throughout December.

I hope all my readers are well and until next time, take care all!

May ’16 Wish List

Hello May, we’re nearly halfway through the year! Surely you aren’t due yet? Oh, what? You are? Oh right. I’m hoping that May will bring plenty of awesome things, as well as some better weather considering there has been some snow!

I am going to try to continue with a spending ban, only buying things I actually need, and every two months I’ll treat myself to some Jeffree Star liquid lipsticks. Woop woop!

There are more clothes on here than I imagined there would be, and there would be even more if I had included the Star Wars clothing Hot Topic have just come out with! I’ll save that for another day.

 photo May 2016 Wish List_zpscdzubqot.jpg

  • L’Occitane Almond Velvet Hands SPF15 – Β£18.00 (link)

I mentioned a few days ago on my April favourites how I love L’Occitane’s hand creams, and when I found out they were bringing a new version out of the Almond one, I was even more excited. This one is a little different as it includes SPF15, and it’s said to leave your hands looking smooth, and basically not old. πŸ˜› My hands look haggard lately due to my eczema flaring up, so I imagine this hand cream would help them look a little more youthful. I would love it for the summer. Plus who can say no to the lovely light pink tube!?

  • M&S Denim Playsuit – was Β£ 39.50 now Β£19.75 (link)

I wouldn’t really describe this as a playsuit, more of a pair of short dungarees… I love them! I’ve seen them when popping through my local M&S and they do look really good quality. They’re currently in their sale, which is how I discovered that their price had gone down. I think I might try to pick these up soon as I would wear them to death in the summer. I’d team them up with a geeky t-shirt, tights, and my Jake Dr Martens. I’d look proper geeky and everything! πŸ˜›

  • Fujifilm Instax Share Printer – Β£129.00 (link)

I have a cool and funky DIY idea in mind which I want to do soon, and I need this awesome printer to do it with! I want to make a photo frame where there is string inside, with pegs attached onto it, and on the pegs I would attach pictures of me and Dane, but PolaroidΒ  ones of course! This isn’t cheap, but considering you can print any pictures you want, it’s pretty nifty. I don’t know when I’ll get this, as it’s pretty expensive. But nonetheless I would love it at some point in the future.

  • PuppyCat Wallet – Β£34.99 (link)

I love Bee and PuppyCat, both the show, as well as the comic book! So when I found this wallet on Amazon a couple of months ago I instantly fell in love with it. I don’t need a new wallet, and to be honest I don’t wish to replace mine anytime soon but this one is just too cute not have in the future. I’ll be keeping my eye on it as a treat, or a gift idea. I like when people buy me wallets… I don’t know why.

  • MAC Cosmetics Versicolour Stain in shade Resilient Rose – Β£20.00 (link)

I have been pretty excited for these coming out since they were announced, and when I recently popped to my local MAC counter I decided to swatch a couple of the shades, including this one. I loved the other shades I checked out, but this cherry red won me over! I won’t be buying this anytime soon due to how expensive this is, but fingers crossed in the future that I can pick it up as a treat. I’d apply it over a lip liner or on its own. This isn’t as long-lasting as a liquid lipstick, but the stain it left behind on the back of my hand didn’t wash off properly for a few days, which was a good sign for me!

  • Hot Topic Studio Ghibli Spirited Away No-Face Girls Sweater – was $44.50 now $33.37 (link)

I have been in love with this jumper for a long time, since seeing someone on my Instagram wearing it! I nearly ordered it at the start of my holiday last month when I felt like crap, but left it due to wanting to save money. I love Spirited Away, it’s definitely my favourite Studio Ghibli movie, so what better than a jumper with No Face on, eh? I’ll definitely buy this in the future, and team it up with leggings, and my Jake Dr Martens to really geek it up.

  • Pokemon TCG Mythical Pokemon Collection: Mew – Β£29.94 (link)

I used to play the Pokemon trading card game when I was growing up, and I loved it! I soon stopped mind the older I got. Over the past couple of years I’ve wanted to take it back up again and play with people, but alas as of yet I haven’t… Although now that Pokemon have brought out the mythical collection’s, I want to start the old hobby up more than ever! These aren’t cheap though, and considering there’s 12 to come out in total this year… I could be pretty poor if I do take the plunge and get them. Oh woe.

  • Killstar Bad Habits Dress – Β£34.99 (link)

I’ve always lusted after clothing by Killstar. They’re very gothic looking, and beautiful, so right up my street pretty much! I have a dress similar to this that I’ve owned since I was 20 but that’s starting to see its last days now, and I’d love an upgrade! I’ll be keeping my eye on it in the future for a naughty purchase.

  • BB-8 Droid by Sphero – Β£129.99 (link)

I’ve wanted this adorable BB-8 since it was announced before Christmas, but alas I don’t own it yet. I can get this Β£100 brand new which is awesome, but even so if I was to buy this for myself, it would be a very expensive and luxurious gift to myself. I know Dane wants this too, so at some point soon we could buy it and split it. Maybe as a treat to ourselves in June for our third anniversary together? We shall see!

Those are some of the items I am lusting after for May. I am pretty sure I have missed things, but as I cannot think of them right now they’ll have to be missing until June now, which I’m sure will be here before I know it!

What do you have on your wish lists for May? Make sure to let me know in the comments down below!

Until next time all, take care and I hope everyone is having a great week.
