February Wish List ’21

I honestly can’t quite believe it’s February already… 2021 is already flying by and it only feels like yesterday that I was going back to work after the Christmas/New Year break!

I have to be honest here and say, I am on a spending ban! I spent a lot of money before Christmas and I suffered during January due to it. It’s not all bad though as it means I can save up for stuff in the future, especially things to do with my house!

Some of the items on this months wish list I’ve pre-ordered, with one item arriving already which is pretty good! Seriously though guys I’m on a MAJOR spending ban this morning and I might even do it going into March as well, just to try and save lots of money to do stuff to the house. πŸ™‚

  • Kittynaut Soot Sprite Enamel Pin (link)

I really love Kittynaut’s designs, especially the Studio Ghibli related ones. I really like the look of this Soot Sprite enamel pin, which reminds me of a collar pin. The Soot Sprites look so cute and happy with their sugar candy! I’d love to wear this with a shirt on the colour to add something different, or maybe even on a sweater on the neck. I’m definitely going to look in ordering this via their Etsy in the future!

  • Razer Base Station V2 Chroma in Quartz (link)

I mentioned in my monthly favourites that I recently picked up the Razer Kraken Quartz gaming headset and I LOVE IT! I don’t just use it for work, I use it for personal too whilst playing games with friends, D&D sessions with friends and also phone calls with friends via Discord and Messenger. At the moment when I’m not using the headset I wrap the cord around it and keep it on our shared desk. In the future I would really love the Razer Base Station in the matching Quartz colour as not only would it be able to hold my headset on the desk, but it also looks like you can have some USB items plugged into it too, due to the ports at the base. This isn’t something I would buy soon, I’d prefer to wait a while, especially if I can get my own desk in the future.

  • Persona 5 Strikers PS4 (link)

To think when I was in Japan in January 2020, this game was coming out late February 2020. There were no talks of it coming out in the UK and people worried we wouldn’t get it. I knew we would deep down and it’s FINALLY coming out in the UK at the end of February! I made sure to get my copy pre-ordered so I don’t miss out. I pre-ordered from Gamersheek as they have the BEST game prices out there! Plus, if you see a game cheaper elsewhere, but would prefer to buy with Gamersheek, they’ll match the price for you. They’re my go to for games in 2021! Honestly I am really excited for Persona 5 Strikers, but I am disappointed the name “Persona 5 Scramble” wasn’t kept like how it is overseas. If you’d like to read a review all about Gamersheek, make sure to check out this post from last year where I spoke aboutΒ Persona 5: Royal.

  • MartithArt Foxtober Throw Blanket (link)

I’ve had my eye on this blanket for quite a while now and I’d still love to get it but meh spending ban. πŸ˜› I love foxes and I love being snuggly and warm so this blanket is perfect for me. MartithArt appears to have created this during “Foxtober” which I can assume is a drawing challenge for October. The designs are gorgeous and the size of this blanket looks like it would be perfect to pop on my lap whilst working at the desk to keep snug and warm. I’ll definitely pick this up in the future, but not yet due to spending ban.

  • Nendoroid Hatsune Miku: Kōrin Kimono Ver. (link)

This is an Nendoroid figure I pre ordered MONTHS ago through YY Kawaii (yykawaiimerch1 on Instagram). I saw it and I knew I had to have it quite frankly. We only own one Miku Nendoroid figure, which is the snowboarding Miku from back in 2016. As Dane is a snowboarder (and I’ve done a little!) we knew we had to get her! However, with the kimono version she just looked so pretty and it sort of reminded us of our Japan holiday too from January 2020. I’m already unsure where she’s going to go once she arrived, but I’m tempted to have her in the office so I can look at her whilst I work. She’s due to arrive in February! Would you guys like to see her reviewed on my blog or Instagram page? Let me know. πŸ™‚

  • Pin & Tonic Sakura Fox T-Shirt (link)

Pin & Tonic is an independent UK artist/store that I’ve always seen floating around social media in the past and eventually followed. I recently got wind of their fox and tanuki/raccoon designs AND a sale on their store, so I went to check them out. I stumbled across this sakura fox t-shirt and have fallen in love with the design! It’s the perfect mixture of my favourite animal, my favourite tree and sakura reminding me of Japan too! I would love to pick this up in the future, as it would be lovely to wear. The colours work so well!

  • Bravissimo Flora Bralette (link)

This is the final item on my monthly wish list and one item that has arrived. This is by far one of my favourite purchases of 2021 so far (spoiler alert, I’ll be talking about it in February’s favourites!) as it’s the most comfortable bra I’ve ever bought! I bought quite a few new bras at the start of 2021 as I knew I was due some new ones, I opted for an old favourite, as well as a new design. I love both, but since working from home wearing a bra all the time is something I’ve… Not… Done… Just being honest! I’ll be honest, I’m not a small busted lady anymore so sometimes my boobs just need a break from the wire, especially if I’m sat at my desk all day and potentially slumping and uncomfortable etc. I’d heard nothing but good things about non-wired bras, but never understood the appeal. I decided to get one myself after seeing good reviews about the flora bralette from Bravissimo. It’s amazing and when payday comes at the end of the month I will be buying another. I’m not going to talk too much here as I want to talk more about it at the end of the month. πŸ™‚

Anyhoo, those are the items I have on my wish list for February! As I’ve said various times throughout this post, I am on a spending ban this month so I’m going to be good. I may even continue it into March, but that won’t stop me from creating another wish list next month! πŸ˜€

What do you all have on your wish lists for February? Make sure to let me know in the comments below!

Until next time all, take care and stay safe. πŸ™‚

Kawaii Face Mask Wish List

Guys we are less than two weeks away from September. Can you believe it? It has also nearly been a month since the UK were told to wear face masks in shops. That month has flew by and it only feels like yesterday I was panicking about buying some more face masks.

Well, that mini panic is what inspired today’s post, which is all about face masks and which ones I have on my wish list (as well as one I bought). I know a lot of people went into panic over getting face masks before the 24th July, which thankfully wasn’t me. I was just panicking about which one to buy! I didn’t buy any funky ones, just a couple of black ones for both me and Dane. However, I would still love some funky and fun face masks, hence the wish list. These are also all going to be reusable!

I really hope this list helps people who may want to get some fun masks to wear during (and after) these times we are facing at the moment. Whether you believe in it or not, wear a face mask if you can and keep yourself and others safe.

  • Firebox Smoko Pearl Boba Tea Reusable Face Mask (link)

This is the first cute face mask I found and typical it was after I bought my face masks in July, boooo! This one is sold by Firebox but is by American brand Smoko (who also made my Elodie ramen bowl – which you can read about here) who I love! They have three different designs on the website – Little Bao Dumpling, Tayto Potato and the one I’m mentioning here, Pearl Boba Tea. The little bubble teas are adorable and some have cute smiling faces on them too. They sound and look really good quality and I would love to pick one of these up in the future, especially as I love (and miss) bubble tea. πŸ˜›

  • Society 6 Igor Canova Shadow Sneak Face Mask (link)

This is a face mask designer my good blogger friend Sarah (Raiin Monkey) has bought herself and told me about. There are so many face masks to choose from, all with adorable Pokemon themed designs, 21 to be exact! Out of all of them, the ghost Pokemon design jumped out at me and I really would love to pick it up in the future. The design itself has various ghost Pokemon – including Gengar, Misdreavus, Shuppet, Litwick and Phantump. Alongside the Pokemon there are some ghost type moves dotted around, which make for a good print overall!

  • PaperandPotionsArt Soot Sprite Face Mask (link)

It wouldn’t be a wish list on my post if it didn’t contain something Studio Ghibli related! I discovered PaperandPotionsArt years ago at Comic Con and straightaway followed them on Instagram. When I saw they’d created this Soot Sprite mask I knew I had to add it to this list. It’s nothing too elaborate and is a rather “simple” design, which I like! It works with it being white too, due to the Soot Sprite’s being black. I have some black face masks similar to this style and to be honest, they’re not the best due to how thick they are and with how warm you can get whilst wearing one of these, this may get a bit stuffy.

  • Sunflower310 Japanese Shiba Face Mask (link)

My Instagram friend Emily (Meimi132) shared some face masks stores and designs with me and this is one of them. It’s a gorgeous Japanese inspired design that has various Shiba in different poses, Mount Fuji, sakura, geta footwear and dango. The design just screams Japan to me and reminds me of my trip there, as well as my love for the country. This is a face mask I would really love to pick up in the future, especially for any future trips to Japan.

  • ClumsyCritters Animal Crossing Celeste Face Mask (link)

This is another face mask that Emily shared with me and it is so adorable! Celeste is so precious and I’ve always adored her since Wild World but I feel in New Horizons she’s so precious and adorable. Walking around, give you recipes and more to do with the stars. It makes me smile. Aside from the design, one of the things I like about this face mask is how the ear sections have adjustable beads on them, which I think is such a good idea.

  • LenacchiStore Pikachu in Space Reusable Face Mask (link)

Finally we have another Pokemon themed face mask that I would really like to pick upΒ  in the future! It’s a gorgeous space themed mask, but with Pokemon! Pikachu and Pichu are in space alongside various Pokemon including Mew, Jirachi, Clefairy, Clefable and various more! Both the Pikachu and Pichu are dressed in little astronaut outfits, which look so adorable! It’s just gorgeous, I love it so much.

I thought I would mention below the face mask that Dane bought for both of us as it’s amazing and deserves a recommendation!

Face Covering Fast UK Delivery Washable Reusable Face Mask Snake Black

  • AALTRADE Resuseable Face Mask (link)

I didn’t want to add it onto the wish list but these masks come in various different colours, but we picked up the black one above. We got 2 each to ensure we had enough and we certainly do. You can pop filters inside, but when we’ve gone to do that it’s really awkward, so sadly we haven’t bothered. We both wear glasses and personally I haven’t had any issues with fogging, but I think Dane has from memory. If you don’t want to go for a kawaii design, you can always go for one of these plain black ones. πŸ™‚

So there we have it! My kawaii face mask wish list! I know this weeks blog post isn’t anything special, but I thought it was both cute and important considering the planets current situation with COVID.

What do you guys think of the face masks I mentioned? Any you like, or already own? Do you have any face masks you recommend? Make sure to let me know in the comments down below!

Until next time, take care all and keep safe. πŸ™‚

May Wish List ’20

I can’t believe it’s May already, can you? As we all know here in the UK, we are still in lock down and we are until the end of this month… Did I hear a mass sigh? πŸ˜›

Personally, I’m taking everyday as it comes and making sure to keep myself busy, including working, playing games, blog work/ideas and talking to friends. My usual really… I’m also trying not to shop too much, although that’s kind of hard at the moment as that’s another thing I’m doing to keep myself amused and busy.

Window shopping is amazing, isn’t it? I have to say though, when it came down to doing this months wish list, I kind of struggled a little bit… I don’t know if it’s because I’ve bought most of the stuff I’ve wanted, or if it’s because I’m now actually missing going out for clothes and such.

Either way, I FINALLY got something together for today’s post, it’s nothing special but I hope you enjoy it either way!

The Body Shop Banana Bath Blend (link)

This is a product that came out recently from The Body Shop. I LOVED their banana range that has released a few times now, but only as limited edition. Now they have bath blends out permanently and in a banana scent! I definitely want to give these a go, however, the one thing that puts me off right now in the price. Β£8 to me is definitely on the expensive side and when you can grab a Lush bubble bar for less than this… It’s a bit much. I’m a bit surprised by it to be honest, as The Body Shop can tend to be better priced than Lush at the best of times. Either way, eventually I will pick this up! I really love having baths after work at the moment.

Pandora Disney 101 Dalmatians Patch Charm (link)

I really love that in the UK we now have loads of Disney items coming to Pandora. Originally it was just Disney parks who seemed to have them, as well as America. I only own two Disney charms, Dumbo and Lady and the Tramp, so I’m always happy to own more, including this cute little Patch charm. I do love 101 Dalmatians, so this would make a nice addition to my Pandora bracelet. It’ll be something I treat myself to in the future, I’m sure.

Fearless Illustration Raincloud Cardigan (link)

I’ve been lusting over this cardigan for the past month, so much so that I even created the design in Animal Crossing to wear (which Bones has been wearing and breaking my bloody heart!). I love cardigans like this and it definitely reminds me of my rainbow “boring” Lazy Oaf cardigan. However, it isn’t cheap and the size I’m after isn’t in stock where it’s at a decent price. I can definitely see me picking this up in future, even to wear to work during the winter months.

NaomiLordArt Seasonal Autumn Fox Sticker (link) and Zodiac Capricorn Fox Sticker (link)

I really love Naomi Lord’s work and have always wanted to buy some of her prints and stickers in the past for myself, but instead I always bought them for friends birthday and Christmas presents. I’ve actually now ordered these two stickers for myself as I wanted something from her store and these two designs are by far my favourite. I’m a Capricorn, love autumn and they’re both fox designs… What isn’t there to love?! I’m so excited to receive them to show you guys in the future. Also, if you like the look of Naomi Lord, make sure to go and check out my best blogger friend Sarah’s (Raiin Monkey) post all about some goods she ordered from Naomi Lord.

My Neighbour Totoro LED Night Lamps (link)

First of all, these are not official items by Studio Ghibli and I never like to recommend fake items, but I really do love these to be honest with you. I’m due to have some shelves put up next to my bed and I feel like these would be a lovely addition to those shelves, or even downstairs with our Studio Ghibli items. I showed them to Dane recently and he actually wants them on a shelf in the hallway, so when people come into the house they will be greeted with these, which is such a lovely idea to be honest with you. I would want both of these, as they’re both just as cute as the other. I wouldn’t be able to choose either one. I don’t think I’ll be buying these this month as I feel like I’ve already spent a lot of money through YY Kawaii and more, so I’d like to try and be good for a while until the next payday!

So that is my wish list for May! Apologies that it’s nothing special, the majority of items I have seen, lusted after and wanted to buy are items that are mostly through Redbubble and Etsy and are heavily Animal Crossing inspired or themed. I mean, would you guys like to see another Animal Crossing wish list? Please let me know!

I have so much exciting content coming up for May, but I feel like I don’t have enough time haha! What are you excited to see? πŸ™‚

What do you guys have on your wish lists this month? Make sure to let me know in the comments down below, as well as what posts you would like and are excited to see!

Until next time, take care and stay safe everyone!

UK Games Expo 2019 – Haul

I am very much skint after the UK Games Expo that was on a couple of weekends ago and I don’t know if I want to laugh or cry… So instead I thought I would write a blog post about it! πŸ˜›

This was the first time me and Dane went to the UK Games Expo and we loved it so much! Not going to lie, it’s definitely the busiest con we’ve attended to date and definitely one we’ll talk about for a while for various different reasons. I’ll be mentioning them here too of course.

So come and have a nose at what we bought, as well as read about what we thought of the convention. πŸ™‚

Our initial thoughts on the convention was that it wouldn’t be as big as it actually was for a start and as we walked through the entrance and looked around, we were shocked and a think a tad nervous that we wouldn’t get around everywhere. Spoiler, we did! πŸ˜›

Something we noticed quite heavily as we walked around was just how fucking rude people attending were. If they weren’t shoving past to get to stands and stalls, they were not even using, “please” or “thank you” as and when necessary. It pissed me off something rotten and depending how rude people were, depended how rude I was back. This put me off immensely but this isn’t due to the people hosting the convention.

This being said we will definitely be attending again next year, maybe on the Friday as we heard from quite a few people how this day is the best out of the three days (Friday, Saturday and Sunday) as well as maybe Saturday so we can get two days in.

We wanted to play some games whilst we were there but due to how much is going on at the convention – we were far too tired for it, which was such a shame as there were loads of games we wanted to have a go at.

As this post shows from the photo, we bought a LOT of stuff, so I thought I would write a haul today so I could show you everything we picked up. I hope you enjoy this haul from us. Prepare for lots of geeky items! πŸ˜›

Also, as some of these (well maybe half actually!) items are Dane’s too, I’ll get him to write here when it comes to anything of his and why he decided to buy it! I’ll pop a “D:” when it comes to his sections so you know he’s talking instead of me. πŸ™‚

The first thing we bought were D&D dice. Hey, you don’t go to a board game convention without buying some dice, am I right?! This was the first stand we really looked at properly as it wasn’t stupidly busy. They had the Chessex dice there and I had a specific pair and style in mind. These weren’t there, but the Borealis style I was after were! They had a couple of pairs (a pink and lighter blue pair) but I fell in love with these light green set and decided to pick them up!

Dane also bought himself a pair of dice too and opted for these blue and red ones. They’re so damn pretty and he doesn’t have anything like this so it’ll be cool for both him and me to try our new dice out at our D&D session on Sunday.

D: When we were walking around the convention the one stand that really caught my attention was the one for Barpig, a card game about pig adventurers in a bar. Even before I spoke to the people running the stand I was pretty much sold on buying the game anyway. They had a pretty good offer that both myself and my friend couldn’t resist after talking to the people running the stand, as well as being given a quick demo. I was sold and couldn’t walk away without buying the game. The day after the convention me and Nat played this game together only to discover it’s between 3-7 players, which is a shame as we were looking forward to an evening of playing it. This being said, we’re now especially excited to play it with friends!

For the convention they had a special price and goody bag for this game. For Β£19 you got everything in the photo including the game itself! This is what I was sold on the most and didn’t hesitate to pick it up.

They currently have the expansion pack BARPIG: After Hours up on Kickstarter until Monday 1st July. I’ll link it here so you can go and check it if you like the sound of the game.

These were some of my favourite items I picked up from the convention, just because they’re Japanese goodies and from some of my favourite things. I stumbled upon this stand about halfway through the day and spotted some Nendoroid figures, so knew I had to go for a nose. When I spotted two official Studio Ghibli puzzles on the table I KNEW Dane had to come and have a look around the stall too! I quickly snapped up the puzzle from the table and shouted for Dane to come over. As soon as he saw the puzzle he told me to get it, but not before I had a nose around the rest of the stall. It was amazing to be honest with you and was by far my favourite at the convention as they just sold so much stuff I love. I saw they had the Pokemon Centre Eeveelutions bell charms for sale too as a decent price so I decided to pick one up. I ideally want this for an ita bag I plan to put together sooner rather than later. It’s so cute, the perfect bag companion.

I honestly cannot wait for me and Dane to work on the My Neighbour Totoro puzzle together and hang up! I’m feeling like it can go up in our bedroom by my side of the bed. πŸ™‚

Just when we thought we weren’t going to actually pick up more than one game, we found a stall where we fell in love with all the games on sale! We decided to pick up half of them and since then have played the one. The games are both by Jason Anarchy, who was a lovely guy to talk to as we looked through the games, asked questions in regards to them and even had a joke as we were paying and such.

I spotted Pretending To Grownup, a card game about doing adult things and scoring points through it. I spotted it through the artwork, which is by Megan McKay (Doodle For Food). She’s currently one of my favourite doodlers on the internet right now and I especially love her Dogs with Jobs sketches that she draws! Me and Dane have since played this game and it’s so much fun! It would definitely be more fun with friends to be honest with you, but considering just me and Dane played it, it was fab and I honestly can’t wait to play it more!

D: I was after a good party game, so as Nat had a look through the game she wanted I asked Jason what Drinking Quest was all about. He told me it was pretty much Dungeons & Dragons but with lots of drinking involved. This sounded like my sort of game so I knew I had to pick it up. I think I would have regretted it if I didn’t. Whilst I was paying for the games (it was Β£20 each or two for Β£35!) Jason wrote a little message and signed the lid of the game. As you can see he wrote, “It’s dangerous to go alone… Drink this” and drew a little drink as well as signed his name. Very cool! πŸ˜€

D: If there is one board game I really love it is definitely Zombies!!! I can’t remember where I bought this from but Nat has a feeling it was a spontaneous buy from Waterstones years ago. Since then I’ve wanted to buy the expansion packs and have added them to birthday, Christmas and anniversary gift ideas for years. It’s taken me going to the UK Games Expo to finally get at least 2 of them and from the actual creator of the game. He was lovely to chat to and even did us a cheap deal for these. Instead of Β£12 each he did them both for Β£20, bargain eh?! I regret not buying more in all fairness. Me and Nat played this game on our first evening together during our week off and we both forgot how hard this game can be, especially now we have more pieces and zombies to play with! We love this game however and cannot wait to play it with more people.

If there was a stand I really did enjoy shopping at during the convention it was at Oathsworn. I feel like this was the stand I spent the most time at as I was overwhelmed by how many miniatures there were, as well as how cute the little animals were. Everyone was looking at miniatures throughout the day, even though me and Dane struggled to find out D&D characters from one of our campaigns (I’m a Dragonborn bard and he’s a half goliath, half half-elf ranger) and had zero luck.

Instead I decided to pick up an animal miniature for any future campaigns me and Dane might go into or do in the future. NOW we’re working on some new characters for another campaign we’re doing with friends and my character for this will be a fennec fox rogue. I’m so excited to create my character for it already!

One of the stands I was rather excited to by from was TeeTurtle, a brand I’ve wanted t-shirts from for years! I actually have one t-shirt from them which is a Pokemon themed one with a Charmander sat in the a pocket on the chest. I picked this up on eBay years ago and still love it to this day.

We decided to take TeeTurtle up on their buy three t-shirts for Β£75 and get the fourth free. If you work this out you technically get all four t-shirts for less than Β£20 each. This may seem really expensive but TeeTurtle are an American brand and to ship to the UK costs a bomb! So we made sure to stock up at the convention whilst we had the chance. TeeTurtle were at the EGX convention in Birmingham September 2018 and I regret not grabbing any t-shirts there.

We decided to get two each and I regret not picking any t-shirts up earlier in the day. We picked these up a couple of hours before the convention was due to shut and the quantity of all sizes was very much small. Most of the sizes that me and Dane wanted had gone, which was such a shame. But this being said, we managed to grab some sizes in designs we wanted. The two on the left are Dane’s t-shirts and the two on the right are mine… Obviously the foxes are mine! πŸ˜›

Dane was actually going to buy me the Foxy Nerd design last year for Christmas but due to the prices for shipping etc he left it in the end.

The two designs on the bottom are both t-shirts we intend to wear during D&D session and we can’t wait to rock them this weekend! Honestly we could have bought so many t-shirts but due to most sizes being out of stock we didn’t get much choice of what we could buy. I hope to see them at another convention in the future so I can get the chance to pick up more designs.

This is a geeky beauty company that I am so happy to have discovered at the convention. Geeky Clean is a beauty company that sell bath bombs, soaps, bubble bars and more! I walked past the stand during the convention but didn’t think much at first. Dane went for a nose at a stand opposite so I decided to go and have a sniff of the goods at Geeky Clean. I fell in love with the bard scent, which is EXACTLY the same scent as Lush Snow Fairy. It’s a gorgeous bubblegum vanilla scent and I knew I had to pick some goods up with the scent. When I showed the soap to Dane he also really liked, so I made sure to pick it up. These weren’t expensive in my opinion (Β£4.00 or the soap and Β£4.50 for the bath bomb) and I’ll definitely be buying from the store again the future! When I’ve given these a go I will DEFINITELY be reviewing them on my blog.

D: We’ve been eyeing up plenty of miniatures and need a way of painting them. These brushes are pretty fancy and excellent quality feeling. I was going to go for the more expensive ones but as it’s going to be our first time painting miniatures I thought best not to just yet. Just need some paint now! I’m actually rather excited to help Nat bring her fennec fox miniature to life with some colour.

D: I want to start being the Dungeon Master with a couple of our friends that are new to Dungeons and Dragons and been looking to try and find a nice easy way to lay out the map for everyone. I have seen plenty of grid paper, laminated maps, DIY solutions and expensive pre-made maps but these seem like a good option. Hopefully, our group will be able to try them out soon! They cost me Β£30 and are by a company called Role 4 Initiative. I didn’t think Β£30 was a bad price considering the brand is American and it would have cost me a hell of a lot more to import from there.

This is the final item I picked up on the Saturday and it was actually from Collectormania which we were allowed free access to after 1pm due to attended UK Games Expo. I thought this was pretty awesome! Looking back I don’t fully know why I bought these lanyards… I used to use one on my house keys last year so it was easier to get them out of my handbag but after I was made a key holder in my old job I used said lanyard on my work key, only to have someone break it a few days later. I was gutted as it was a Deadpool lanyard. Now I’ve kind of replaced it with either a My Neighbour Totoro or Eeveelutions! I’m sure I’ll find a use for these sooner rather than later. πŸ™‚

We actually went back for an hour on the Sunday just to buy a gaming table from Moby Geek! We actually saw this table on the Saturday and enquired about it and was offered it for Β£230 if we took it away that weekend. We decided against it and said we would order it at home. We fast changed our minds Saturday night/Sunday morning and ended up contacting the company to see if we could attend the event late Sunday to just come in to pay for the table and then take it away. They were more than happy with this and come 4pm I went into the event to pay, get Dane in and take away.

Since then we have not only used the table to play games, but to also eat on! The lid comes off of the table so that you can play games inside of the table – which is amazing. We are yet to give it a go without the lid but we are excited to start being able to have proper game nights with people.

So that was our (very expensive!) haul from the UK Games Expo! We really did enjoy ourselves and had a blast! We were shattered that evening however and couldn’t wait to be back at home and tucked up in bed.

I’m especially excited now to rock our D&D t-shirts to our next session, as well as use our new dice.

Did you attend the UK Games Expo? If so what did you pick up? Are you interested in board games, D&D etc? If so let me know which games you love playing, what your D&D character is like etc in the comments. I’d love to hear all about it!

Until next time, take care all and I hope you’re having a lovely week so far. πŸ™‚

Elle’s Doodle Box*

I am so excited to write this post at the moment! I’m feeling a little under the weather right now but I’m sure by the end of this I’ll have perked up after looking at all the cute goodies Elle over at Elle’s Doodle Box sent me.

Recently I’ve gained some confidence in reaching out to companies myself to ask if I can work with them. Some have replied to me and some haven’t. Elle is one of the lovely companies who did and I was so excited to work with her.

I’ve known and brought items from Elle’s Doodle Box for quite a while now, whether that be at cons or via her Etsy. Her designs are so kawaii and I especially love all the characters she draws, especially Haku.

Elle’s Doodle Box store contains loads of different products ranging from greeting cards, prints, stickers, badges, charms, planner, sticker sheets and mystery boxes. Most of her work is based on fandoms, games characters, animals, and anime.

Me and Elle have been chatting since I reached out to her and she has fast become a friend and is such a lovely and sweet person. We plan to go on a coffee date very soon, hehe. πŸ˜›

ANYWAY you’re here to see what I was sent, so without further ado let me show you the box of kawaii magic she sent me! As I always do, an * will go next to any items I was gifted.

This is the first item I saw in the box and already it’s my favourite! It’s an adorable little Totoro from the Studio Ghibli film My Neighbour Totoro. He’s got such a lovely little face and I can’t quite tell if he’s super happy or smug. Either way I love it and I’m torn whether to hang him off of my car keys or my backpack… Either way I’m sure I’ll decide soon enough!

  • Eeveelution Espeon Button Badge* – (link)
  • Rockruff Badge* – (link)
  • Fox Badge*
  • Haku Spirited Away Pin Badge Button* – (link)

I love badges, even if I don’t use and wear them as much as I used to! These badged are all adorable, my favourite of the bunch has to be the Haku one. I especially love that it has holographic flecks throughout it too. You can never go wrong with something like that!

The Espeon badge is a bit bigger than the others and I feel if it had been smaller all the detail of the Pokemon would have been gone.

The Rockruff badge is adorable! Elle has clearly put so much into the design of this newer dog Pokemon and I really like it. I feel like she’s really given it a character.

Finally the fox badge is my second favourite! I love foxes, they’re one of my favourite animals so the fact she included this in my package was so thoughful and sweet. This bagde will definitely be popped on my cardigan!

  • Mystery Sticker Bag Stickers Only Mix* – (link)

These contain damaged and miscut stickers but personally I don’t see any difference in these and normal stickers. They all look good to me! I love the amount of variety you get in the bag and I also can’t believe how many you get for the money either! I’ll list below all the ones you get in the pack and if possible link back to them too!

Pokemon – Growlithe, Leafeon, Alolan Vulpix and Vulpix.

Food – 3 scoops, kitty kat, pink cupcake, pizza, doughnut, watermelon and ice lolly.

Studio Ghibli – Totoro with umbrella.

Undertale – Frisk and Alphys.

Animals – Whale shark, chubby dogΒ  andΒ unicorn.

Other – Groot, anxiety warrior and puppy with yellow hoodie.

  • Random Sticker Pack*

This is another random sticker pack that Elle sent me and out of the two I REALLY love this one! I feel like most of the stuff she popped in here was very personal as she did ask me what sort of stuff I was into. I love all the stickers in here! My favourite would have been the Haku sticker BUT I am loving the Baymax with Glaceon on his head. It’s so adorable.

Pokemon – Rockruff, Growlithe, Vaporeon, Leafeon, Gengar, Eevee and Haunter.

Studio Ghibli – No Face and Haku.

Other – Poison Ivy, Spyro, Baymax with Glaceon and Deadpool.

  • Vulpix Card* – 50p (link)

Whilst I was in London Elle announced these Vulpix cards on her Facebook group for the store (which I’ve linked here) and I knew I wanted to get a couple for friends SO when I opened my package and saw one was already in there, I was so chuffed! I’m going to send this to someone special (not spoiling here!) who I know will really love this. πŸ™‚ I plan to order some more to give away to some of my friends as special cards. There are other designs out too including Eevee, Xmas Rat and Gingerbread Man. You can also order these in packs of 4 for Β£2.00.

  • Spirited Away Haku Dragon 7×5 Print* – Β£3.00 (link)

  • Pokemon Rockruff 7×5 Print* – Β£3.00 (link)

  • Pokemon Gardevoir 7×5 Print*

I love ALL the prints that Elle sent me! Sadly I have a feeling I already own the Haku print, so I’ll possibly be gifting this to someone for Christmas, as I know they’ll really appreciate it! πŸ˜€ But I do love the Haku print so damn much, as I say time and time again on my blog, Haku is one of my favourite things so any items with him on are always appreciated.

The other Pokemon prints are adorable, especially Rockruff which I think I’m going to keep in my office! πŸ˜€ The Gardevoir took me ages to try and remember the name of the Pokemon haha.

I love the size of these prints though, they’re perfect for popping into frames and hanging up near one another, say behind a sofa or a desk.

SO that is the amazing box of goodies that Elle sent me! I love everything she sent and I am so grateful to her for being more than happy to send me some goodies.

I just wanted to say what a lovely person Elle is! She’s really easy to talk to, friendly, always good to go to if you have any questions and finally an amazing and unique designer. I love her work so much and have loved buying from her in the past to gift people with her items.

Alongside the amazing items she sent, Elle also sent me a discount code for myself, as well as my readers to use.

I’ll have this code on the side of my blog after this post goes live, so don’t worry about needing to search through my posts to find this one, it’ll be on the right hand side. πŸ˜›

Petty Bones Club – I’m A Brand Rep*

I have been so excited about writing this blog post with you guys the past couple of weeks now and it is safe to say that I can now FINALLY talk about it!

As you can see from the title today’s blog post is about Petty Bones Club, who were originally called Ayloulou Apparel and who I’ve spoken about in the past on my blog, which you can read here.

If you follow me on social media you will have seen that recently I announced that I had become a brand rep for Petty Bones Club! AHHHH!!! This is like a bloggers dream come true, well for me anyway.

Not only am I excited and happy to be a brand rep, but I am so happy to be a brand rep for Petty Bones Club, whose designs I have loved for nearly a year.

So on today’s blog post I will be talking about the goodies I was sent in my Petty care package, as well talking about what it means to be a brand rep for them.

First of all I’ll talk about what I was sent.

In my package I was sent three stickers and six pin badges. I feel incredibly spoilt, especially considering some of the badges are ones I’ve had my eye on buying for AGES!

The two badges I’ll talk about are the Pokemon messenger ones. There are four altogether in the collection and I was sent two of them. As you can see I got the Charmander* and Squirtle* pins. I love the designs so much as they’re adorable and show each Pokemon’s personality. I love how each of these pins have certain coloured metals to match the colour scheme of the Pokemon.

As you can see there’s gold for Charmander to match the orange, yellow and red theme and silver for Squirtle to match the blue theme. I also love that the backs for these also match the colour of the Pokemon, it’s those cute little touches that really make it for me. I’ve never seen that before and I love it so much.

I honestly cannot wait to use these pin badges and pop them on my cardigans for work, especially in autumn and winter.Β I recently bought myself another rainbow cardigan so I’ll definitely be rocking these cuties on it throughout the rest of the year!

Another Pokemon pin I was sent was the Sailor Scout Sylveon* which I’ve actually had my eye on for ages!

The PokeScout badges are a mixture of Pokemon and Sailor Moon, which is such a cute concept! I’ve never been anyone do this to date and it’s such a great and original idea! I know Petty Bones Club have a couple of different PokeScout designs out including Pikachu and Vulpix, as well as a Kickstarter which recently finished. I really want the Eevee PokeScout!

The pin badge itself is just perfect and is a gorgeous gold metal which really suits it. The Sylveon has a little crescent on their forehead too which really gives it a slight touch of Sailor Moon, which I like. As I said I’m not a massive Sailor Moon fan so this is perfect for someone like myself.

This next pin is for sure my favourite out of the bunch of goodies I was sent, for various reasons, which I will bore you with. πŸ˜›

It was thanks to the first two Studio Ghibli pins that Petty Bones Club that I not only discovered this brand when they were originally called Ayloulou Apparel, but it’s also what started me collection pin badges!

I just fell in love with the Haku pin badge that Petty Bones Club came out with and I had to have No Face too.

SO when I opened my Petty care package and found the Catbus* pin in there, I was so happy. Since then I’ve worn it a few times and had so many compliments on it!

I love how all the Studio Ghibli pins by Petty Bones Club have glitter on them and the glitter on the light in the Catbus windows works so well! It’s also got the gold metal, which again works really lovely with the colour scheme of Catbus.

This is a pin badge I am really excited to wear alongside my other two Studio Ghibli pins, as well as in the autumn months. I’m going to try and hint here (as well as other parts of social media…) for Petty Bones Club to make a Totoro and Soot Sprites!

The last 2 pins that Petty Bones Club sent me are the same ones and they’re the Machamp x Hercules pins, which are so quirky!

As you can see it’s a mash up of Disney and Pokemon which in turn have created this pin badge, which is pretty cool. But you know what the best bit of these are? I’ll be giving these away very soon so keep eyes peeled! πŸ˜€

Finally the other things I was sent in my Petty care package, were some adorable stickers! These are a cross over between Sonic and Mario! They’re all adorable and I especially love Tails as Princess Peach. These are going to be stuck into my 2018 journal.

Although you can’t buy the stickers of these on the store you can buy the pins, which I’ll link here… Sonic X Mario, Knuckles X Luigi and Tails X Princess Peach.

So those are all the lovely goodies I was sent from Petty Bones Club!

Now I just want to briefly write a little thank you to Lauren over at Petty Bones Club for picking me to be one of her brand reps. It is an honour to be perfectly honest with you and I really hope I make her proud!

If you love the look of Petty Bones Club pin badges then make sure to check out their store, which I’ll link below as well as go and visit them over on Instagram.

I now have an awesome discount code you can use on their store, which is COFFEE10. Don’t worry if you lose this post on my blog and cannot find the code to use, it will be on the side of my blog from today!

What do you guys think of the Petty Bones Club? Which pin(s) do you like? Make sure to let me know in the comments down below, as well as over on the Petty Bones Club Instagram page!

Until next time though guys, take care and I hope you have a lovely weekend.

June Wish List ’18

I cannot believe we are now officially halfway through 2018. Where did May go?! I think most of it was spent enjoying the hot weather and having bank holidays to even realise it was going, going, gone!

Now it’s June and I REALLY struggled with my wish list this month. I’m so naughty, all the books I was lusting after and added to this list I have now bought as I really wanted them. Other than that it was so incredibly hard to try and come up with stuff to add to the list.

It’s mine and Dane’s fifth anniversary in a couple of days too so you’d think I’d post items that I’d be all, “YEAH I’D LOVE FOR DANE TO BUY ME THIS HINT HINT!” but I doubt that’s going to happen! πŸ˜›

URGH enough chitty chat, let’s get on with the wish list for this month.

  • Nintendo Switch Mario Tennis Aces – (link)

I haven’t actually bought myself any games for mine and Dane’s Nintendo Switch yet and we’ve owned it since March! I’ve had my eye on the new Mario tennis game since it was announced in March, not long before we’d bought our Switch funny enough. I’m a sucker for tennis games and for years have wanted the Mario tennis game on 3DS. This would be so much fun to play solo as well as with Dane! I’ll definitely be picking it up, especially from Smyths where you can save Β£5 off of your pre orders.

  • Miss Kobayashi’s Dragon Maid Vol. 6 – (link)

As regular readers of my blog will know, I’m loving the manga series of Miss Kobayashi’s Dragon Maid! I loved the anime, which was out last spring/summer so when I heard about the manga coming out in English, I picked it up to read. Since then, as soon as it comes out I order it! This has already been pre-ordered so I cannot wait for it to arrive now.

  • Living Dead Clothing My Neighbour Skater Dress – (link)

I’m a massive sucker for the dresses that the likes of Black Milk Clothing and Living Dead Clothing come out with, although I am yet to try the latter. I remember when Living Dead used to have their Studio Ghibli designs, but they didn’t stick around long. Recently I noticed two of the designs I wanted before were back AND they’re both in dresses, this one included. I really want to order it as a massive treat to myself, but for almost Β£50 before shipping, my soul is dying a little inside at the thought of it. I’ll see though if I fancy giving myself a massive fucking treat in the future.

  • Snotgirl Volume 2 – (link)

This has already been ordered and I cannot wait for it to arrive! During my May Favourites I wrote about how I’d loved reading volume 1 of Snotgirl so as soon as the second comic book came out I KNEW I had to order it right away! I can’t wait for this to arrive now so I can read it sooner rather than later.

  • Kidrobot Marvel Deadpool Riding A Unicorn Plush – (link)

I don’t quite know how, but recently I stumbled across this plush online and holy fucking shit how cute is it?! This is a massive Deadpool plushie that is riding a unicorn, but the best bit is that it vibrates/rumbles when you hug it or clap at it. Why? Well, why not? πŸ˜› I don’t need this, but I REALLY want it! It’d be so awesome to cuddle! This also comes in a smaller version too, which may be the better one to opt for. πŸ˜›

  • Lime Crime Plushies in shade Cherry Soda – (link)

Since these were announced agggges ago I’ve wanted to try the Lime Crime plushies lipsticks, especially the shade Cherry Soda, but as of yet I just haven’t ordered it. There’s only one place that stocks this limited edition shade and that’s Cult Beauty. I do want to order it… BUT I don’t really wear lipstick anymore… 😦 I might treat myself to it soon enough though.

  • Miss Kobayashi’s Dragon Maid: Kanna’s Daily Life Vol. 2 – (link)

ANOTHER manga and it’s also another Miss Kobayashi one… It’s also one I’ve pre-ordered. πŸ˜› The Kanna’s Daily Life series is adorable and I really do love being able to read more about the baby dragon of the family. This is only volume 2 and I cannot wait to read it, like I said I really do love this series.

  • Nana Ebina Nendoroid – (link)

This is the final item on this months wish list, purely because I want her so damn much and she’s now available to buy. Nana Ebina is from the anime Himouto! Umaru-Chan and is school friends with Umaru and in turn is my favourite, so when I saw they’d announced a Nendoroid for her I was so excited! She’s an anxious character in many ways but she’s so sweet and adorable. I didn’t realise she came with the blue and white cuddle pillow cat from the show either but apparently she does! I’m hoping deep down that for our anniversary Dane has bought me Nana Ebina… I’ll report after our anniversary! πŸ˜‰

So that was my wish list for June! I’m sorry it wasn’t anything too exciting, I’m rather boring lately when it comes to buying things. πŸ˜›

What’s on your wish lists for June? Make sure to let me know in the comments down below.

Until next time, I hope you’ve had an amazing weekend!

Christmas Wish List To Father Christmas – Now & Then

This is the post I mentioned at the start of the month that I was looking forward to doing! I decided that for this year I wouldn’t just do my normal Christmas wish list at the start of December and decided that I would do it on Christmas Eve as a sort of, “Father Christmas I’ve been good please bring me this and that and that!”

But I then changed my mind and had an even better idea! I decided as well as doing my Christmas wish list for this year, I would do one as I would have when I was 7 years old! The nostalgic feels will be all over the start of this post and I really hope you guys enjoy reading it, as much as I had putting it all together!

  • Happy Monday Store INU INU T-Shirt – Β£15.23 (link)

I discovered this brand through a girl on Instagram who is all Japanese themed. Basically into the shizzle I’m into! She got sent this t-shirt and I fell in love with it! It’s got a cute little shiba on it, but he’s getting his face squished and pulled and AHH SO DAMN CUTE! I’m really hoping that Dane has bought me this for Christmas, otherwise I’ll be ordering it after my birthday. πŸ˜›

  • Firebox My Neighbour Slippers – Β£29.99 (link)

I’m always down with anything that will help me feel all warm and snuggly in my own home! I live for putting my pajamas and slippers on as soon as I get home from work, and who can go wrong with wearing Totoro slippers?! These look so amazing and they’re not cheap, no but come on… They’re Studio Ghibli, they aren’t going to be! πŸ˜›

  • Good Smile Company Nendoroid Yuri!!! On Ice Yuri KatsukiΒ – Β£44.95 (link)

I didn’t have a clue what Nendoroid to add to my Christmas wish list, but I thought Yuri Katsuki from Yuri!!! On Ice would be a good one to add for sure. This is a Nendoroid I really hope Dane has bought me for Christmas he’s gorgeous and I really want to get him and Viktor to put with our collection. Any other Nendoroid’s I want are probably really old and very rare ones. In all fairness though, I don’t care which Nendoroid(s) I get from Dane for Christmas, I’ll be happy with any!

  • Your Name Manga Vol. 2 – Β£7.98 (link)
  • Your Name Collector’s Edition Steelbook Blu-ray – Β£24.99 (link)

I LOVED Your Name so much when me and Dane went to watch it in the cinema so I would love to not only get the collector’s edition blu-ray for Christmas, but I really want volume 2 of the manga to read! I picked up volume 1 in the summer when it came out and it’s so good. If you loved the anime, then you will probably love the manga even more! I also really want the Your Name Nendoroid’s too! πŸ˜›

  • Pokemon Indigo League Season 1 Blu-ray – Β£49.99 (link)

As regular readers will know (or anyone to be fair…) I am a MASSIVE Pokemon fan and I remember back in the day waking up early to catch the weeks episode of Pokemon on SM:TV Live. Earlier this year I binge watched all of the episodes of Pokemon Indigo League on Netflix. When I saw that this was coming out, I was super excited and it was one of the first items added to my Christmas wish list! I really hope I get this so me and Dane can binge watch it whilst I’m off work over Christmas.

  • Your Lie In April Part 2 Blu-ray – Β£41.09 (link)

This is an anime I fell in love with this time last year. Dane bought me part 1 on blu-ray for my birthday this year and back in April part 2 came out. it’s a limited edition set and of course I NEED part 2 to add to my collection. Again, I hope I get this so me and Dane can watch it all together. I haven’t actually finished watching this anime, but I’ve read all of the manga. It’s amazing but really quite sad.

  • A Silent Voice Blu-ray – Β£29.99 (link)

ANOTHER ANIME BLU-RAY! Oh man, I’m so sorry! πŸ˜› I had so many blu-rays on my wish list, all anime related! This was my favourite film of this year and is one I was so stoked to go and see and I left the cinema feeling great. I bought the whole manga series after and read them all so quickly. Again, it’s by far one of my favourite manga series as well as anime films. Dane recently wanted to watch this again in dubbed, as we saw it subbed in the cinema. A part of me hopes I have the collectors edition of this for Christmas. I can see me binge watching this loads if I get it.

  • Pokemon Center Vulpix’s Crystal Season Purse/Wallet – Β£37.99 (link)

This is a wallet I regret not asking YY Kawaii to pick up from Japan for me back in October when she was out there! I got one thing from that collection, that being a notebook. This wallet is so damn cute and I could imagine it getting just as much attention as my Loungefly Pokemon handbag. I doubt very much that I’ll get this for Christmas and with that I doubt I’d be missing out. πŸ˜›

  • Studio Ghibli Spirited Away Haku Chopsticks – Β£10.78 (link)

I LOVE using chopsticks and whenever I get the chance to use them, I do. I have 2 pairs my friend Sophi (HEY! :D) gifted me over the past couple of years and they’re amazing! When Dane asked me to look for some little present ideas, I found these Haku chopsticks. Haku makes me happy, merch especially, as well as artwork so I would be so stoked to use chopsticks with him on too!

  • Studio Ghibli Spirited Away No Face Sweater – Β£24.99 (link)

Another Studio Ghibli item, but whatever! πŸ˜› Truffle Shuffle are really on it right now with the Studio Ghibli merch and this and the Totoro sweater they’ve brought out are amazing. I would love this to snuggle up in with shorts and my Docs! I’d love them to bring out a Haku one but I doubt they will. If I got this I’d totally wear it for New Years Eve!

  • Lush The Man On The Moon Gift Set – Β£44.95 (link)

Finally we have my last Christmas wish list item on here and of course it has to be a bit of Lush! πŸ˜› Dane asks me every year to find a gift set or two from Lush that I like the look of, one for him to possibly get and one for his parents to possibly get. I linked quite a few for him and sadly this isn’t one he would accept due to the price. BUT it’s the one I actually really, REALLY loved and wanted! First of all I love the re-usable tin, as well as all the night time themed products inside, which I’d love to use on pamper evenings and weekends. It also contains quite a lot of items I’ve never tried before either! If I don’t get this for Christmas I’ll try and get some in the Boxing Day sale.

Now that I’ve done my actual wish list for “Father Christmas” this year (Father Christmas being Dane pretty much! :P) it’s time to go back in time to what I would have asked for Christmas 20 years ago when I was seven years old. πŸ™‚

Just a little disclaimer though, I don’t think all of these came out in 1997, some may be 1996 and later but meh I remember receiving these over Christmas… You get the idea! πŸ˜›

  • Loveable Bears.

These were cute little bear keyrings that came in different colours and scents! I can’t remember which I had to be honest, I have a feeling I had mint and strawberry. I know I had 2! They came with little bottles and if they cried you would feed them. They were like little Tamagotchi’s and were so adorable and fun to have on your backpack. Not so fun and adorable if they cried though!

  • Barbie & Ginger Doll.

This was one of my favourite Barbie’s, for so many reasons. First of all, look how cute and fluffy Barbie’s golden retriever Ginger looks! Second of all, it moves and third of all Barbie rides a skateboard, which Ginger helps her to achieve. As a kid this was just all kinds of wonderful to me and I remember playing with it all Christmas Day and onwards.

  • Doodle Bear Pets.

I remember getting a Doodle Bear when they first came out and I loved writing and drawing all over it, only for my mom to wash it so I could have myself a blank canvas all over again. I remember seeing the Doodle Bear Dog and I pleaded with Father Christmas to get it for me, which he obviously did! πŸ˜› I never drew on it though to be honest, I loved it too much to be honest to, “ruin” it.

  • Pocahontas Braided Beauty Doll.

This was definitely one of my favourite dolls, EVER! The first film I saw in the cinema was Pocahontas and I was in love with that film, and it’s still one of my favourite Disney films to date, especially my favourite Disney Princess. I never even knew this doll existed until Father Christmas gave it to me. I was in love! Not only did it come with a Pocahontas doll, but of course it also came with a Meeko who would braid yours and her hair. What else could a girl ask for? πŸ˜›

  • Baby Born Doll.

This was one of the baby dolls that really opened up the market for the future of dolls like this. It would eat the “baby food” you gave it and poop it out, pee the “milk” you would feed it and even cry “real tears”! It was a hit with kids alike and I was so excited to open mine on Christmas Day! That doll really did last ages and I loved it so much. Due to it peeing and pooping so much you would constantly have to put nappies on it to catch all of that, or at least some washable type knickers. Mine broke after a couple of years and the water you could give it as “milk” would leak out of it’s arm and leg joints. I loved that doll though, so damn much!

  • Home Alone Talkboy.

Finally we have the one toy every kid wanted, as well as teenagers at the time I’m sure! I remember being gifted one of these after 1997 (I think anyway…) but I just had to mention it here! I remember watching Home Alone 2 and not really thinking, “oh man I want that recording thing he has!” but when I got one I loved it! I didn’t realise until researching the toys to add to this post that this was actually made because it was in Home Alone 2! It wasn’t a toy until after that movie, how cool is that?! It was just a prop and because loads of fans asked about it, they made it. What legends!

Oh man I have to be honest and say this is one of my favourite posts I’ve done in a long time, purely because of remembering some of my favourite toys from Christmases years ago. I can’t believe I was seven 20 years ago! That makes me feel hella old. πŸ˜›

Well it’s Christmas Eve, I hope you’re all ready for tomorrow to spend a lovely day with your loved ones. I hope if you have children they get everything they wanted and wished for from Father Christmas.

But I’ve said it many times over the years and I’ll say it again, don’t forget that Christmas isn’t a time that everyone is happy. It’s also one the worst days of the year for people with mental health. If you know someone who needs support this time of year, please support them if you can. If you’re someone who isn’t feeling their best Christmas Day, please seek support, whether it be from friends and family, or even Samaritans. I’ve been depressed over the Christmas period and it’s really crippling, especially when it’s that time of year when you’re meant to be “okay”.

I’ll leave all the links and numbers down below for anyone who needs to reach out and get support this Christmas. Also, if you ever need someone to talk to, I’m always willing to listen and support. You can find me over @maybeecoffee on Twitter.

June Wish List ’17

It’s the sixth month of the year, which means we are officially halfway through 2017 AND it’s also the month of both mine and Dane’s four year anniversary as well as our first anniversary since we got the keys to the house. YAY!

It’s also another month where I need to watch my money and be good… Which I don’t think I’ve really done this month sadly. 😦 I’ve bought things here and there. URGH! If I buy anything next month though it’ll be something for Dane’s anniversary present. He wants a Fitbit but they’re so expensive! πŸ˜₯

Although I need to be good it won’t stop me wishing for things I can’t have! πŸ˜›

  • Smoko Elodie Unicorn Ramen Bowl – $29.99 (link)

I’ve always wanted a proper ramen bowl but I’ve never really found one I like the look of. I discovered this a couple of months ago when I saw that Smoko had a Kickstarter page going and I found they had created a ramen bowl to go alongside their Elodie mug, which I also want! I was going to back the Kickstarter they were doing but when I saw how much they were charging extra because of me being in the UK, I changed my mind. Very sad times. I’d still love this bowl though! It’ll be something I get when I have some spare cash. Import from the USA will be a fucking fortune.

  • Firebox My Neighbour Totoro Mug – Β£16.99 (link)

Okay so it’s not like I need anymore mugs… BUT who can resist this one? Honesty! I love Totoro just as much as most people in the world so this mug is right up my street. I love how he has a lid which obviously makes for his ears. I don’t know what I’d use a mug with a lid for. My mom does all the time… πŸ˜› I’d have this for hot chocolates to be honest in winter time. You could put marshmallows inside and pop the lid on to help them melt! YES THIS IS THE BEST IDEA EVER!

  • PS Vita Slim – Prices vary depending whether you buy new or second hand…

I REALLY want a PS Vita… Don’t ask me why I just do! I love my Nintendo 2DS loads and although I don’t play it as much as I used to I do love my handheld consoles and enjoy playing them. I guess I just want to add another to my collection. I also like a lot of the exclusive games on there and they’re super cheap now to buy on the official PS store so why not get one now? Sadly they’re only mostly available second hand and are Β£80-Β£150 depending which one you get. The slim is what I want and is sadly more expensive. Places like GAME and CEX sell them second hand so if me and Dane go through with our ideas for anniversary presents I may be getting this and he may be getting a Fitbit. πŸ˜›

  • Root Letter PS4 Game – Β£20.00 (link)

I don’t really need a new game for my PS4 anytime soon as I can see Persona 5 taking up much of my life until The Fractured But Whole comes out later this year. BUT I have looked into Root Letter and it looks pretty damn cool! It’s set in Japan for a start, which is a genre of games I appear to enjoy now. It’s a murder mystery style game which looks and sounds really interesting. For Β£20.00 if I really want to grab myself something else to play alongside Persona 5, at least I know it won’t break the bank!

  • Your Name Manga Vol. 1 – Β£9.99 (link)

I did a little digging last month about Your Name after I saw it in the cinema in April and I delightfully discovered that the film was being turned into a novel AND a manga! I knew I would want to pick up the manga, and guess what? IT’S OUT THIS MONTH! I’ll want to pre order it or at least order it the day it comes out… But money… I may order the novel though for when I go on holiday. I’d love to add it to my collection.

  • Miss Kobayashi’s Dragon Maid Manga Vol. 3 – Β£9.98 (link)

This is a manga I’ll definitely be pre ordering closer to the release date! I’ve been waiting patiently for it to come out for a couple of months now so it’s something I need to read! πŸ˜€ I love Miss Kobayashi’s Dragon Maid, especially the anime! I soon picked up the manga and although I don’t like it as much as the anime, it’s still great.

  • cKy The Phoenix Album – Β£6.99 (link)

Oh my I am sooooo excited for this album to come out this month! I’ll be downloading it as soon as possible to listen to in the car. I love cKy so much and they’re one of my favourite bands so it’s going to be like seeing an old friend hearing the new album. I already know however that it’s going to be completely different to the previous four albums and I’m unsure if I’m excited or nervous about this… We shall see…

  • Secret Key Pink Racoony Hydro-Gel Eye & Cheek Patch – Β£12.47 (link)

I’ve had my eye Β on these for a couple of months now as they look pretty amazing to be honest and I have heard some mixed reviews on them. They’re cute little pink patches that you apply to your under eyes and cheeks. I’d only use these on my eyes though to give me a cooling sensation, help my bags and wake me up a little. They sound like they’d last ages as well and at a decent price. PLUS the raccoon on the packaging is so damn cute! Which is something that first attracted me to the product… πŸ˜›

I feel like this months wish list is so boring… I also feel like there was so much more stuff that I actually wanted… Obviously not! I really need to watch my month this month as I was a little naughty in May… I’m meant to be saving up for the holiday in September as well as stuff for the garden. FUCK SAKE I HATE BEING AN ADULT!

What items are on your wish list for June? Make sure to let me know in the comments down below!

Until next time take care all and I hope you’re having a lovely weekend so far.

MCM Comic Con – Birmingham

On Saturday me and Dane went to the Birmingham Comic Con and it was one of my favourite ones to date! Maybe not over Hyper Japan for obvious reasons… πŸ˜›

It was pretty much a last minute decision to go after umming and ahhing for a couple of weeks and due to this we weren’t able to grab priority tickets like we did back at the 2014 Comic Con. This being said it turned out well as we booked our parking in advance so we didn’t have to pay after etc etc. We got there an hour early and had to wait what felt like 10 minutes to be let into the convention. Then we had 6 hours of browsing around the stalls, doing some shopping, admiring all the amazing cosplayers and have a good time.

Before I go onto what amazing cosplayers I met and had pictures with throughout the day I want to show off what I wore as I loved it so damn much and got loads of compliments on it!

A few weeks prior to Comic Con I did my weekly eBay search of Black Milk Clothing bargains and came across this Adventure Time dress. These came out YEARS ago and are now museum pieces, meaning they aren’t coming back unless Black Milk decide to release a limited amount. I wanted this dress back when it first came out but due to money and such I didn’t get it. What probably would have cost near to $100 AUS dollars I go for Β£35. What a bargain! Of course the pattern as you can see is Lumpy Space Princess who I adore!

It’s a skater dress so it flares out a little which I find to be the best style for my figure. The material is lovely and think meaning if it needs to stretch a little the pattern on it won’t get ruined. I teamed it up with a long white t-shirt as I knew it would be too cold outside to wear it without anything underneath. All about the layering in the winter time! I also teamed it with black tights (which I wish had been thicker!), my triumph Dr Martens boots, my new red coat from M&S and a navy choker.

So when we were ready to go we set off to Comic Con!

This was one of my favourite comic cons I’ve attended to date for one reason, all the amazing pictures I managed to get with cosplayers! I’ll be talking about who I saw in the order I saw them!

The first cosplay we spotted was this amazing Totoro from Studio Ghibli My Neighbour Totoro, which is one of mine and Dane’s favourite movies. I never usually have pictures with anyone at conventions as I often feel too shy or they walk off and I never get chance to have a picture at all. However I shoved my way in the best I could and got my picture.

The next cosplayer we saw was another Studio Ghibli related one, which is from my favourite movie, Spirited Away. This person was dressed as No Face and was definitely one of the best cosplayers I saw all day! I’ve never really seen anyone dress as No Face before so I was so excited to see him. Again like Totoro I waited for my turn to have a picture and got it. By this point I was like a little kid, I was so happy!

This next cosplayer felt kind of official due to where you had to stand to have a picture and although there wasn’t an official queue, it did feel like you were queuing to have your picture with him. Of course it’s Deadpool and oh my God he was a legend! Of course it would have been better if it was Ryan Reynolds, but hey it was a guy dressed as Deadpool, a proper costume too not a shitty morphe suit! No offense to anyone who wears/wore a Deadpool morphe suit… πŸ˜›

When I went over to him I didn’t expect him to talk, but he did! He say hello, asked if I was okay and even complimented me on my dress and said, “Purple really suits you!” WHAT A BEAUTIFUL HUMAN BEING!

Ahem… Anyway! He got me to put my hand in a backwards C shape to form a heart and thus our picture was taken. I loved how chatty he was and how into the role of Deadpool he was. It was amazing and I hope everyone got the chance to get a picture with him who loves Deadpool just as much as I do. OH and he even has his little unicorn. πŸ˜›

This cosplayer was one of the hardest to get a picture with and I’m so glad I did to be honest, even though I did feel like a pain in the arse. I was tired, as was Dane and I couldn’t be arsed to push and shove to get a picture BUT by not doing this a lot of people were being rude and barging their way through. One girl in particular was very rude and as I went over to have my picture she barged past me. I ended up calling her something very nasty (begins with a C…) and walked off. Later on however I saw the Totoro again and this time with the cosplayers family who were dressed as Satsuki and Mei and not only did a somewhat get a picture of them all together, but I finally got my picture with Totoro.

After taking some photographs of me by the big MCM Comic Con sign we were just about ready to go home when we saw the last cosplayers we had pictures with and by far the best ones we had pictures with. Dane had wanted to get a picture with a Stormtrooper (or two) all day and we never got the chance to. So we saw them having pictures with some other people and went over to have ours done too. Dane had his picture taken first which he loves, but then it was my turn and it got funny very fast!

They had proper Stormtrooper armour on that also had voice changers inside so they sounded like the ones from the movies. They told me to get down on my knees as I was being arrested and proper went for it! The officer in black wasn’t there beforehand but when he saw how I was having my picture taken he got into the picture without me knowing… Until I saw the picture anyway! I loved the two pictures that me and Dane got with the Stormtroopers and a part of me wants to pop them in a frame at some point so we can remember what an amazing day we had.

Haul wise we bought each other a couple of Christmas presents, as well as some pictures for the house, but in Dane and Natalee tradition we always get at least one picture drawn of us, which is this one. We both love it so much and it’ll go in a frame and put in the house somewhere.

After a long day we came home cooked some dinner and relaxed. We had a lovely time at Comic Con and it was definitely better than the first one we attended together in 2014. My only negative about it this year was how many fake Nendoroid’s were flying around. One stall in particular annoyed me as it just sold nothing but fake items. You could tell they were fake too… I wanted to say something to some guys buying them but I couldn’t, I didn’t want to worry I would be kicked out for being rude or offensive.

Other than that it was amazing and I can’t wait to either attend Comic Con again or even Hyper Japan next year!

Did you go to an MCM Comic Con event this year? If so let me know which one and which cosplayers you saw and loved! You may have even attended Birmingham like I did! If so what did you do there? Make sure to leave all your comments down below!

Until next time, take care all and I hope you had a lovely weekend.
