June Wish List ’19

It’s June! The month of lots of spending due to mine and Dane’s anniversaries! However whilst this year won’t be completely different, it will be all the same. We won’t be spending as much money on one another as we usually do due to the fact we have booked Japan so we’re saving up to spend monies over there!

This means I would like to go on some spending bans as I would much prefer to have monies for when I go to Japan so I don’t feel like I can’t enjoy myself, you know?

Granted spending ban or not, I will always post my monthly wish list posts, as I love doing them so much! I can imagine this month being really hard to do as I can’t think of anything I actually want apart from maybe the odd item or two… We shall see anyway! 😛

  • Converse x Feng Chen Wang ERX 260 Mid (link)

I really want these high top trainers… Like really badly want them! I think if it wasn’t for booking Japan last week, I’d have probably ordered these by now. I would especially love to have these for Japan though as they look amazing! Maybe I’ll treat myself to them, or even hint to Dane for them as a partial anniversary present… 😛 I’m going to Manchester next week so I’ll definitely be keeping my eye out for any stores that MIGHT be selling there – although they do just look to be an online exclusive with Converse…

  • Persona Q2 on Nintendo 3DS (link)

I am beyond excited for this game to come out! Not going to lie, I haven’t actually played Persona Q, the first in this game series. I don’t know if I really need to play that one to enable me to play Q2 but either way I don’t care. The Persona 5 gang are in this game and that in itself is enough for me. From what I’ve seen and read, this is a dungeon crawler based game where you can pick a team from any of the Persona games (3, 4 or 5) and play the game pretty much. This comes out today – which I’m really excited for!

  • Renegade Bubble Tea Board Game (link)

This was a game I discovered at UK Games Expo last weekend and one that I regret not picking up in all fairness with you. I regret not buying this so badly and even regret not sitting down to play the game. We wanted to make sure we looked everywhere before buying things, hence why I didn’t end up getting it in the end. I was shown how it played however and it looks like a great little party game for all ages! As a bubble tea fan this is such a novelty game too and I just feel like it would be a cute game to own. As soon as I can, I’ll be picking up this game to add to mine and Dane’s growing collection.

  • Persona 5 Morgana Pop! Vinyl Figure (link)

I know I’ve mentioned this Pop on my blog before within my monthly wish list, but I’m mentioning it again this month because it’s ACTUALLY meant to be coming out this month! I’ll be shocked if it actually does and will hold my breath until that day comes. I really want this figure though. It’s adorable and I know it’ll be gorgeous to have on my fireplace in the living room, or maybe even my manga bookshelf.

  • Ines Dreamer Shop D20 Pink Choker Necklace (link)

I’ve been after a new choker for a while now, as whilst I do love wearing my fox necklace that my friend Sophie bought me I do like something a little geeky instead sometimes. I love the 90’s tattoo chokers and have done since they came out back in the day. Since getting into D&D I’ve been after a choker style necklace with a D20 on it. I haven’t been able to find one for a while, but FINALLY I found one on Etsy recently and after I’ve written this post, I plan to order it. 😛 There’s one left so why not!

  • Illustrator Jake Eeveelutions Sweater from Kickstarter (link)

This item isn’t actually out to buy and was part of a Kickstarter recently held by Illustrator Jake, who I’ve mentioned on my blog before in a review of their Retsuko pin badge (which I’ll link here). I of course backed it and opted for the Eeveelutions sweater design. I’m actually really excited for the design to come out and be posted to me, especially if it’s this month! Sweater weather in the summer isn’t exactly a done thing here in the UK, but it bloody can be if it’s cool enough. 😛

So those are my wish list items for this month! In all honesty I spent quite a bit of money at the UK Games Expo over the weekend so I doubt very much I’ll buy much from this list this month.

UPDATE – Also make sure to use my discount code below on Illustrator Jake’s store to snag yourself a nice 10% discount! 😀

THEREMIGHTBECOFFEE10

In all honesty I do want to do my spending ban. Every time I go to buy an item I know I could get when in Japan, I’m going to just leave it etc.

What items do you guys have on your wish lists this month? Make sure to let me know in the comments down below!

Until next time all, take care and I hope you’ve had a lovely week so far. 🙂

October Wish List ’18

As I said a few days ago, how on Earth is it October already?! This year has flown by in a busy haze and I just want time to stop for a little bit. I’m writing this post over the weekend and I honestly can’t believe it’s currently 7.30pm! Where is my precious weekend going?!

What better way than to spend my evening doing blog work and listening to Radio Bam. I don’t mean for that to sound as sarcastic as it probably does. I love writing on my blog, I find it quite relaxing and it takes my mind off of anything that’s on it.

I haven’t really thought much about what items I’ll be talking about on my wish list today, but I worry it won’t be much, or at least anything exciting! Fingers crossed eh?

Well Christmas is around the corner, so I’ll definitely be needing to save monies anyway. 😛 I hope you enjoy this months wish list anyhoo!

  • Never Take It Off Can I Keep You? Necklace – (link)

I rather like NTIO and have done for years. I’ve even mentioned them on my blog before (which you can read here) and still wear the bracelet I picked up in March. I was having a nose at the Halloween collection and stumbled across this cute ghost necklace! I’d love to get it but the one thing that puts me off is it isn’t real silver, it’s plated. I sound so snobby, but I hate wearing plated jewellery, it turns your skin green! This is definitely something I’ll have to think about getting.

  • Insert Coin Clothing Persona 5 Shujin Academy Varsity Jacket – (link)

I have been pining over this jacket since it came out a couple of months back. I thought I’d mentioned it on my blog before, but alas I haven’t! The reason I haven’t bought it yet is due to the price. It isn’t the cheapest jacket in the world sadly at £65 and I’ve ummed and ahhed the decision on buying it due to that. As readers will know I went to EGX a couple of weekends back, (which was amazing by the way) which Insert Coin Clothing was also at. Sadly the size I wanted for this jacket was sold out so I couldn’t pick it up. The staff were so lovely and gave me some vouchers so I could pick up the jacket for a cheaper price, which is lovely! I can’t wait to get it for autumn and winter now.

  • Cath Kidston Otters A5 Softback Notepad – (link)

If there is a high street brand I have fallen in love with the past year it’s Cath Kidston. Their items are so adorable and vintage, you can’t go wrong at all. I especially love stuff that’s got cute animals on. I loved their fox collection so much when it was out! When I recently visited one of their stores I discovered they have quite a few cute animal collections out, including their Otters collection! This notebook is adorable and I’d love to have it as my journal for 2019! I have so many notebooks though, that I honestly don’t need anymore!

  • Kingdom Hearts HD 1.5 and 2.5 Remix – (link)

Years ago I picked up this game on the PS3 but considering I don’t use my PS3 as much as my PS4 anymore I’ve not really played it, sad times. The first thing me and my best friend Gabriella did at EGX was go and play Kingdom Hearts 3, which I loved SO DAMN MUCH! I really need to pick this game up soon so I can play it before the new one comes out. I forgot how much I actually enjoyed this series. I don’t know if I’ll buy this just yet as I have so many games coming out for the rest of the year. I might just ask for it for Christmas and play it with Dane. Who knows… We’ll see!

  • Miss Kobayashi’s Dragon Maid: Kanna’s Daily Life Vol. 3 – (link)

After this post I’ll get this preordered as I want this when it comes out. I love reading manga so much and one of my favourites to read is the Miss Kobayashi’s Dragon Maid ones. They’re recently announced that they’ll be releasing a manga series about Elma, one of the dragons and equally one of my favourite dragons! I can’t wait to see what happens to Kanna next, she’s adorable.

  • Joules Lunch Box – (link)

This isn’t anything special and whilst I doubt I need a lunch box for work, I REALLY love the look of this! If anything it would probably encourage me to make sandwiches for work instead of buying them once a week. It’d also be great to take leftover dinner in. 😛 It’s just adorable and it’s a decent price for Joules too, don’t you think?

So that’s my wish list for this month! What do you guys think to some of the items I’ve added to it? What items do you have on your wish lists this month?

Until next time, take care all and I hope you’re having a lovely week so far.

Never Take It Off Bracelets

I do apologise for my blog being quiet for a few days, but this is due to personal reasons. I just wanted to use my weekend to spend time with Dane. and chill out together. This sadly didn’t involve doing any work on my blog.

Today however, I can!

Recently I decided to order myself another Never Take It off bracelet. I say another, let me explain. One of the first posts I ever wrote on here was about a Never Take It Off bracelet that I owned back when I was 22. I wore it for ages until I got a retail job and was forced to cut it off. I was heartbroken and gutted and I never bought another one because I knew I’d never be able to wear it. It was a gorgeous turquoise peace sign and I know it’s somewhere at my parents house. I think when I’m there next I’m going to try and find it so I can order new string and wear it again!

That is until recently when I decided I could and would finally be able to wear a NITO bracelet again and when I knew which one I wanted, I ordered and waited nearly 2 weeks for it to arrive. I was so excited for it!

It took me ages to decide which bracelet I wanted but in the end I decided on the No Fear bracelet, which I had seen years before and lusted after.

I’ll talk about the brand first and then go into the goodies I ordered and received.

I discovered Never Take It Off back when it first came to be around 2011/2012. It was through the artist Juliet Simms, who sung in a band that I love called Automatic Loveletter. It’s an American brand who make these gorgeous bracelets where when you put them on you make yourself a vow. You have to stick to it and never take the bracelet off.

“The Never Take It Off Vow Bracelets were created to bring strength to the process of change and choice. Each piece comes with a list of vows to encourage the individual tying it on to never give up, never back down and never stop trying. Never take it off…”

The NTIO brand is a stand alone and not affiliated with any exclusive band, person, artist or cause but provides a way to easily support or promote all Artists, Bands, Causes, and Designers and Events by providing a simple artistic and meaningful way to promote those brands. The NTIO Vow Bracelets were created to support Artists, Bands, Causes, Designers and Events with a message of hope, humor, help and happiness ❤ for every wearer and the artists who created them.

In the parcel itself you’ll get a card by the person whose design you have brought, mine was by Juliet so of course I got her card.

Alongside that you get a guide on how to tie your bracelet, as well as any other information about NTIO.

There are various different styles to choose from, as well as by loads of different people and if you got and check out the website, you’ll see why I struggled to decide on a bracelet for quite a while.

I settled on No Fear, a style I had been after a while. It was “retiring” which means it’s being discontinued and sold off cheap in sale. Not only that, but due to it being by Juliet and it being her birthday around the time of ordering, I got a discount code! ALSO due to this being a Valentine’s Day item, I also got a special choker/bracelet which is by Juliet and her husband Andy and it’s called Love Me.

Sadly both of these are now sold out, but there’s plenty of other bracelets to choose from!

So when Dane was home I asked him to help me tie my bracelet on and although I didn’t really make a vow, I said that I would continue to keep doing what makes me happy and try and save up as much as I can to do more things, including travelling to Japan!

I can’t see me wearing the pink choker/bracelet as much as I don’t know if it’s waterproof. It’s the kind of thing I’d possibly wear when going out for a meal or something like that.

The bracelets aren’t hard to tie on, but if you want to make sure they’re secure you’ll want someone to help you out!

I love them both so much though! They’re gorgeous and I cannot wait to continue wearing my No Fear bracelet more and possibly have people ask after it too.

The bracelets are wear and wash proof, which is really good considering you wear it constantly.

I know this isn’t a super long and detailed post, but I love my Never Take It Off bracelet so much and I was so excited to share it with you!

So, what do you think of NTIO? Would you pick one of the bracelets up and make a vow on it? Make sure to let me know in the comments!

Christmas ’16 Wish List

Ahh Christmas is just 20 something days away and it’ll be here before we know it! I pretty much have most of my Christmas present shopping done now which is great BUT what do I want for Christmas? Let me just add that this list was pretty damn hard to do as this year I found that I didn’t want all that much… I wanted a lot of make up if anything (Jeffree Star, Kat Von D and Korean beauty mostly!) so I didn’t want my list to be full of those things. Check out my wish list to find out what I decided to put on my list to Father Christmas. 😉

  • South Park: The Fractured But Whole The Coon Figurine – £11.99 (link)

If regular and old readers haven’t realised by now how much of a South Park fan both myself and Dane are then what the hell have you NOT been reading? We love South Park and I especially love the video games. I have 100% completed The Stick Of Truth and I’m eagerly awaiting the next game, The Fractured But Whole. I’m currently collecting the figures from the first game and of course I couldn’t NOT collect the ones from the second. Not only that but for Halloween in 2015 me and Dane both dressed as South Park characters, Dane as Mysterion and me as The Coon. So getting this would mean an awful lot to me. Although me and Dane have discussed about getting the bundle of these figures, which you can check out here.

  • Pokemon Pikachu Molded Mug – £15.00 (link)

Dane actually showed me this mug about a month ago when he was looking for some Christmas and birthday present ideas for me and I shrugged it off and said, “Meh we don’t need anymore mugs in the house.” BUT after a lot of thought I changed my mind and said how it would make a lovely edition, due to how unique it is. That and it reminded me of a Pikachu mug I made in art/pottery class well over 10 years ago when I was at school. It was awful but I loved that mug and used it as a pencil pot instead. So it would be lovely to use this in the cold mornings before work.

  • Pokemon Center Mew MokoMoko Plush – £28.99 (link)

Another Pokemon item! This time it’s Mew. I love Mew just as much as I love the Eeveelutions and sadly although my Eevee plushie collection is building up nicely, my Mew one remains small with me only owning one plush… Sad times. I’m hoping to change this next year however and what better way to start that than with this beautiful and soft looking Mew plushie! Of course from the Pokemon Center in Japan. It looks so soft and fluffy but sadly it isn’t cheap and I would have to wonder how big this must be to be at such a high price.

  • ColourPop x Hello Kitty Lippie Stix in shade Let’s Play – $5.00 (link)

Ew I said I wouldn’t add make up to this Christmas wish list but urgh I have to add something! One item won’t hurt, surely??? When I found out that ColourPop were going to have a Hello Kitty collection I went a little bit ape shit but said I wouldn’t buy anything due to the expensive shipping prices. However thanks to sellers on eBay it doesn’t cost as much as it would do to order from over the pond. I really love Let’s Play as it’s a gorgeous cranberry red with pink shimmer throughout. Perfect for the Christmas and winter season to wear to parties, at work and for shopping trips. I might end up treating myself to this on payday next week instead though. 😛

  • CraftyFoxCollective Iridescent Metal Effect Purple Quartz Crystal Pendant Black Leather Cord Necklace – £5.25 (link)

I’m not much of a jewellery wearer for many reasons, my main one due to work but I would love to start wearing necklaces I have always wanted to. I wear my one choker quite a lot and bought a thick velvet choker a few months back to wear (even though I hate it…) so I want to start buying more. This is a necklace I really like the look of and it doesn’t even cost that much! I saw some like this when I went down to London last month and I regret not buying it! Rainbow crystals like this one just make me happy to look at, so I would love something like this to wear all the time. They’re pretty easy to find on Etsy, but this was my favourite of the bunch.

  • Yankee Candle Cherries On Show Large Jar – £21.99 (link)

OMG when I saw this in a couple of Yankee Candle shops I was so damn happy! Sadly it isn’t on the official UK website… Why? I don’t have a clue! This was a permanent scent for Christmas years and years ago but after two years it was discontinued so when I saw it was back I got super excited and have told loads of people that I want it. QVC have them on a special offer at the moment, so I may try and persuade someone to get one or two for me whilst they’re around. 😛 This is one of my favourite Yankee Candle scents so I would love to have it back in my life again. 😛

  • Black Milk Clothing For Fox Sake Grey Toasties – $80.00 AUD (link) and For Fox Sake Cap Sleeve Skater Dress – $90.00 AUD (link)

I LOVE Black Milk Clothing and I search at least two or three times a week for items I can pick up second hand on eBay, so when I watched their latest YouTube revealing their Christmas collection this year I got super excited. They have not just one but TWO fox themed pieces this year which look adorable! Of course there are the pictures above of the two pieces of clothing, leggings and a dress. The leggings are my favourite of the two at the moment due to them being toasties, which means they’ll keep your legs lovely and warm when it’s cold outside. Could definitely do with those for Christmas! I’d wear them for New Years as well as my birthday. The dress is Dane’s favourite of the two and I do get why. It would be lovely to team up with a burgundy cardigan, some tights, boots and a big coat for Christmas parties, as well as for Christmas day. I doubt I will get either of these for Christmas as they are hella expensive, but I’ll keep hopeful for them… Or at least one of them. 😛

So that is my Christmas wish list for this year! What items do you have on your lists?

Throughout the Christmas period I will be writing a couple of gift idea posts including Final Fantasy for definite, possibly Christmas jumpers, as well as many many more!

What posts would you like to see though throughout December? Make sure to let me  know in the comments down below! I know I’ve been really quiet recently due to me being super busy with work and the house, but I’ll be trying to write plenty of posts throughout December.

I hope all my readers are well and until next time, take care all!

Christmas Present Ideas – The Fox Lover

I love foxes, regular readers, friends, family, and just about anyone who knows of my existence will know just how much the cute little ginger guys (and girls!) will mean to me. I don’t know why I love them so much to be honest, I just know I always have, and that my love of them has only grown stronger the older I have got.

I will grow old and be a lady whose home you visit, and when you leave tweet “OMG I’ve just been to this old bags house and it was full of bloody fox things. Fox cups, fox pillows, fox slippers. Hell the woman had a pet fox!” That’s if Twitter still exists when I’m really old.

This being said, when me and my boyfriend get our own home, it will be full of all things foxy and geeky. That’s just the way we roll!

But I know I’m not the only fox lover around, so I thought I would come up with a good list of fox present ideas for anyone who also have a fox lover in their life, like me. Some of these present ideas will also be great for stocking fillers, or even Secret Santa gifts! I know I’d love to receive them all (I’m sure people have already bought me them… Or I already own them)! 😛

  • Sass & Belle Be Free Fox Tribal Adventure Plaque – £3.50 (link)

For anyone who owns their own home, or even just spends loads of times in a certain room of their home (their bedroom, office, etc) this will be the perfect gift for them. It’s a simple, yet pretty plaque that has a tribal fox on it, underneath it states, “Be Free”. The perfect mantra for that person who might lead a busy life. I would love this to hang up in an office myself, and for £3.50 it really won’t break the bank. The perfect gift for a younger person, or even a Secret Santa idea.

  • Avon Fox Mug – £12.00, on offer for £7.50 (link)

I already have this down on a wish list somewhere, which I think my mom is going to buy me for Christmas. This mug is perfect for any fox lover, especially for winter time. This little cutie has a removable wool cosy on it, which has always looked comforting in some way when on mugs. This will be perfect for cold mornings for tea and coffee, and chilly evenings for hot chocolates. I cannot wait to get this!

  • Paperchase Fox Compact Week To View 2016 Diary – £4.50 (link)

There is no gift at Christmas than a new diary to take people into the New Year with. Well, I find this myself anyway! This diary will be great for people of all ages. Children and teenagers for school, college, and university, as well as friends who have busy schedules. Plus it’s not huge either, so it’ll be perfect to chuck into a backpack, or a handbag for on the go. I would have this on my own Christmas wish list, but I have my filofax now, so all I need for that is some new inserts. This again will make a great Secret Santa gift.

  • Aroma Home Home Knitted Fox Slipper Boots – £25.00 (link)

These aren’t on the cheap side, but they do look (and feel from seeing them in store) worth the money, and would make an extravagant gift for a friend or a family member. If there is one gift I like to receive at Christmas it’s anything warm, from a dressing gown, pajamas, or a good pair of slippers. I would love some slipper boots like these myself. I think a teenager would love to receive these for Christmas, and we all know it sucks to get clothes at that age on Christmas Day.

  • TK Maxx Orange Plush Heatable Fox – £7.99 (link)

I actually own this, and I can safely say it is amazing! Not just for when I’m feeling chilly, but it’s also really good for when I’m suffering from period pain. It only takes a couple of minutes to warm up in the microwave and then BAM it’s ready to cuddle up with and keep you warm. This could make a great Secret Santa gift if you’re maximum spend was £10.00. Otherwise it would make a great stocking filler for a teenager, especially one who has recently started her periods and needs something to help the ache go away for a while. You can get these pretty much everywhere as well to be honest! I bought mine from TK Maxx but in store I paid £9.99 for mine, so it’s good it’s not a couple of quid cheaper.

  • John Lewis Midwinter Fox Snow Glove – £15.00 (link)

I eyed this up in store when I first visited the new John Lewis in Birmingham, and I LOVED it! The Christmas section in there isn’t massive, but it really packs a punch. When I spotted this fox snow globe I knew I wanted it. However, whilst I love snow globes I get extremely anxious owning them now. Years ago when I was four years old my mom bought me a snow globe from an old market by where we live. I had it for years and then one day it got knocked off of my shelf and smashed everywhere. I was distraught, I had a lot of memories with that snow globe. So I’m always wary of owning another. However, for people who collect snow globes, they will love this one for sure! It has a gorgeous little fox inside of it with a wreath around its neck. This isn’t cheap at £15.00, but for the price it would make someone a lovely present.

  • Sugar Bunny Shop Doki Fox Button Set – $5.00 (link)

I LOVE Doki Fox! A cute little character created by the people behind Sugar Bunny Shop. He’s a cute little fox who has a chick as a companion, and loves eating dumplings. These are great for a gift to a young fox lover, and especially as a Secret Santa present. My boyfriend bought me some of the stickers with this little cutie on last Christmas, and they really warm my heart. I would loved the badges to stick all over my backpack. They do deliver to the UK by the way, so don’t worry about international shipping!

  • Urban Outfitters Wooden Fox Bowl – £14.00 (link)

I’ve seen this in Urban Outfitters every time I have popped in with friends, and my boyfriend, and each time I have eyed it up and contemplating buying it. It isn’t cheap for what it is don’t get me wrong, but it’s really lovely all the same! Would be nice to keep on a vanity to hold jewellery in, or even keep on a sideboard by the front door for change. The possibilities are endless with something like this! Would make a great present for someone who might be moving into a new home before Christmas, or just after.

  • Claire’s TY Beanie Boos Medium Slick The Fox Soft Toy – £14.00 (link)

How adorable is this? I want to get him to keep for myself! The TY Beanie Boos are really lovely soft toys to buy for anyone of any age, but I will of course recommend these for babies and children. They’ll make lovely little stocking fillers for your own children, family members, or friends children. Of course you could buy these for someone of a more mature age too!

  • Alex Monroe Sterling Silver Fox Pendant in Silver – £126.00 (link)

This is a really pricey present but I wanted to include it on here as it’s a nice one for if you want to spoil a loved one, or a daughter. I would love this myself but it is really pricey… It would definitely be something extravagant. Opening something like this on Christmas Day would be a real treat for anyone, and to see a little fox appear in the presentation box is just something extra special. I don’t really have much to say on this, it kind of speaks for itself.

  • Claire’s Faux Leather Fox Purse – £10.00 (link)

This purse is adorable! It reminds me of the sort of purse my mom would buy me when I was a kid. Therefore making this a lovely present for a teenager. It would also make a great Secret Santa gift. If you get this for someone for Christmas, make sure to pop a silver coin inside for luck. I’m really old-fashioned and do this… 😛

  • Hoo Farm Animal Kingdom Animal Encounters by Will’s Wild Animal Encounters – Predator Encounter – £150.00 for two people (link and link)

This is the last present I will be mentioning as I am saving the best for last! This is something my boyfriend hasn’t booked me for Christmas, but for my birthday at the start of January, which I’m so excited about! It’s an hour of meeting cute predators, and having cuddles with them. You get to meet foxes and feed them chicken, so you definitely get up close and personal. They do offer some more similar experiences with foxes which you can find on the website. I’ll be making sure to take loads of pictures of this as and when it happens. But this would make a lovely gift if you want to treat your other half, a parent, or friend, or a sibling to something really special! They’re based up in Telford, Shropshire so it might be a trek for some, but totally worth it! At the moment Groupon have a couple of offers up there, so you can snag some of these at half the price. It’s a nice treat for after Christmas, and definitely a lovely surprise as well.

So that was my present ideas for people who love all things foxy! What did you think of it? If you liked any items on the list in particular make sure to let me know about them in the comments down below! Or even recommend some fox related products yourself.

Until next time all, take care and I hope you’re all having a great week.

My Pandora Collection Part 3 – My First Bracelet

This is the third and final post from my Pandora series and I’m so glad that I finally got around to doing it, because I have wanted to for as long as I can remember. This post will be talking about my first Pandora bracelet and by far my favourite piece in my collection for many, many reasons!

This bracelet doesn’t just symbolise me as a person, but it also reminds me of my boyfriend, and my family whenever I look at it because it is just full of them. I only have room for another six or seven charms now, and as soon as this is filled, I’ll need to get another bangle bracelet so I can start filling that one up too.

However, until then I will be talking about the charms I have so far. I first spoke about my bracelet last February and since then I’ve added eight charms, so I have a lot to talk about! I will briefly go over the ones I have covered in the past, but most of the detail will go into my newer ones. If you would like to read about the other charms in more detail, here’s the link to the February post.

Like I did a couple of days ago with my second bracelet, I’ll be going right to left again. This is the order that I received the charms.

  • Owl, Cat and Letter N

These three charms were on the bracelet when I received it and only recently did I realise that the owl and cat charm could associate with the poem The Owl and the Pussy-Cat which really does make me smile, even if deep down that isn’t the meaning behind them. Of course my name is Nat, so it starts with an N. These were ideal first charms for this bracelet.

  • Mrs Hedgehog and Bunny

These were the first charms I received from my dad for Christmas 2013. Sadly they were surprises as I chose them myself, but they do have a lot of meaning behind them. As a child I always associated Mrs Tiggy Winkle with my gran, and as she passed away in 2013, this charm was a must. It reminds me of both her and my dad whenever I look at it, and that makes me happy. As for the bunny charm, it doesn’t really have much meaning behind it. I just really liked the look of it. I think it’s a special edition from Easter that has seemed to stick around.

  • Waving Cat and Elephant

These are both charms I received for my 24th birthday, the cat from my boyfriend, and the elephant from my dad. My boyfriend has always known how much I want a lucky cat so he bought this for me, which meant a lot. It’s also the charm that started up a colour scheme for my bracelet which I loved. The elephant is from my dad, it was my choice again and I fell in love with it when I saw it. This is apparently discontinued now, but the website doesn’t state this. Either way it’s a fat cuddly looking elephant and it makes me happy.

So now I can finally tell you all about my newer charms!

  • Mouse In The Cup

This was a present from my boyfriend for our first anniversary together and it meant a lot. I knew I would going to be getting it, as hard as he tried to make it a surprise. I’ve always wanted this charm and it would only be right for my boyfriend to buy it for me. It is one of my favourite charms for many reasons, but most of all because it was such a special time for us both. We went to Bristol for our anniversary and we loved it. We had an amazing time and since then and a year later I crave to go back. The detail on this charm is gorgeous from the pattern on the cup, the writing “be mine” on a heart by the mouse, to the little nose of the mouse.

  • Angel and Telephone Box

These were the second set of charms my dad bought for me for Christmas in 2014 and this time, I didn’t pick. They have a lot of meaning behind them that nearly made me cry when he told me on Christmas Day. “The angel symbolises what you are to mean and the telephone shows you can call me whenever you need.” As on the bottom of the telephone box it says, “call me” which means a lot. It also has a red Union Jack on the top which is a really nice touch and once again adds some more colour to my bracelet, which at the time was looking to be red. One of my favourite colours to wear! It is just really thoughtful and lovely. My family aren’t the type to show their feelings and emotions often, but when it comes to Christmas and birthday’s they really do shine.

  • Snowboarder and Camera

These are both birthday presents, one from my boyfriend and one from his parents. The snowboarder is from my boyfriend as he’s a snowboarder and thanks to him I have wanted to get into it for ages, and even went for my first class at the start of the year. It’s a dangle charm and the first one to become an addition to my bracelet. The snowboard has red on the top, which isn’t showing very well in these images, sorry. The camera is from his parents, something I have wanted ever since I first got a Pandora bracelet. My mom has the camera charm and now I have it to match! My boyfriends parents know how much I love my photography so they bought me this, and it’s such gorgeous detail. On the back it has all the buttons a digital SLR would have, and even a screen. I love it!

  • Teal Faceted Murano and Seahorse

These are both charms I picked up whilst I was on holiday. The bead I bought for myself as a treat, the seahorse from my dad for my 25th birthday. I have wanted these charms ever since they were released last summer whilst I was in Bristol, and I nearly bought myself a necklace and the seahorse charm. I’m glad I never! These have added some more colour to my bracelet, and also remind me of Fuerteventura, my second home. The bead reminds me of the sea, and pools, which I love swimming in. I’m sure in a second life I was a mermaid (everyone claims this)! As for the seahorse, it’s such beautiful quality and for how small it is, has such gorgeous detailing.

  • Bear Hug

This is the charm that my boyfriend bought for our second anniversary at the start of the month. He bought it whilst we were on holiday, as due to it being a no tax island, you do save quite a significant amount of money. It’s a gorgeous teddy bear couple, holding a gold heart. So cute and symbolises how our love has blossomed since we first got together. I love it so much and I am rather sad that this couldn’t work on the necklace chain he bought me, but I would prefer it on my bracelet. This bracelet means so much to me, and isn’t just about me but all about the special people in my life. Including him. I just love it so much and have been showing it off as much as possible since getting it.

So that’s my first Pandora bracelet and by far my favourite piece of jewellery to date! I can’t wait to have it filled one day. I just wonder what will appear on it next!

What do you think of this bracelet? Which charm is your favourite? Also, do you own any of these charms? I would love to hear what the charms on your bracelets mean!

I hope you have all enjoyed this mini series, I know I’ve loved it.

Until next time, take care all.

My Pandora Collection Part 2 – My Second Bracelet

So as I promised a few days ago, I would be doing my three part series about my Pandora jewellery and here is post two! I’ll be talking about the second Pandora bracelet I received from my parents as a random gift. Well, I say random but it has some meaning behind it. They bought it for me as a gift to me starting back on sorting my career out when I started my MA in September. It was a very generous gift and I was surprised when I was given it.

Since I got it in September, I have added two more charms to it, again gifts from my mom, which is lovely of her.

This is the bracelet I’ll wear if I don’t want to wear anything too “in your face” or heavy, as my first bracelet is pretty heavy due to all the charms on it.

I’ll be talking in some detail about which charms are on the bracelet, and the meaning behind them, as they all have meaning. This is something I love about Pandora the most. You can look at someone’s bracelet and get an understanding about the person due to what charms they have on there. I’ll be going right to left.

  • Study Book

Due to starting university when I was given this bracelet, of course there would be a studying charm on here and what better than this cute little study book charm? It has an owl on top of the first book, who is wearing a little graduation cap. On the bottom of the last book it says “study”. The detail of the books is gorgeous.

  • Openwork Butterfly

This is somewhat random, but nonetheless it’s a gorgeous charm and the butterflies just look pretty. I think my dad stated that he chose this charm as it’s girly and reminded me of him. Very sweet.

  • Fairy Pixie

Another somewhat random charm, but one my parents really liked due to the little fairy holding a gold heart. Something different and it really does compliment the design of the charm, and the silver. It looks like Tinkerbell, which most girls associate with and think is cute. I’m not one of those girls. 😛 Either way, I love this charm, it’s my favourite one on this bracelet.

  • Theatre Mask

Due to taking drama in my undergraduate degree, my parents knew they had to get this for me. Also due to my love of acting and writing plays they loved it for that too. It doesn’t just have the happy mask, but the sad mask too, and on the top it says, “To be or not To be” which really does make this a special charm for me.

  • Crown

This and the next charm are both part of a set that my mom bought on the plane back from holiday at the start of the year. They don’t exactly have much meaning to them, but the thought was lovely of course. She joked stating, “you’re like my little princess so I guess that can work!” which made me laugh. Bless her!

  • Pandora Bag

This is the charm that came with the Crown and out of the two I like this one more. Only because I love shopping and I love Pandora! My mom said it was this charm that drew her into picking up the set of charms as whilst we were on holiday together we shopped, a lot! So she said it reminded her of the holiday. It is such gorgeous detail for such a simple charm too, which I love.

So that is my second Pandora bracelet! What do you think of it? Which charm do you like the most? Let me know in the comments down below.

Until next time all, take care.

My Pandora Collection Part 1 – My Necklace

Over the past couple of years I appear to have grown a small collection of Pandora jewellery and recently for my anniversary I appear to have added another to my collection.

I won’t be talking in detail about each piece here, however I will be talking about my necklace today as it was the newest piece to join my collection. Overall there will be three parts for this, part one being my necklace, part two being my university bracelet and part three being my first bracelet.

I would talk about everything in this post but that would mean it would be WAY too long. This is a set of posts I’ve been meaning to do for ages, but I’ve always just left it as I wanted to get some more charms on my main bracelet as I only spoke about it last year. But since then I’ve added eight more, which is a lot!

I am incredibly lucky to have as many charms and such as I do and I love them all equally for many reasons.

The one item I will talk about today is the gorgeous necklace that my boyfriend bought me for our two year anniversary.

He bought the charm whilst we were on holiday, as due to the island being tax free, he could pick it up pretty cheap! He bought me the chain in this country though. It was so hard to try and find the perfect chain and although this isn’t perfect (for a couple of reasons that I will go into) it is gorgeous nonetheless!

The charm for my necklace has had to be changed from the a cute little teddy couple my boyfriend originally put on it because it is just too heavy for the chain, and due to this the teddies kept turning upside down. Rendering it pointless. However, it now has a place on my main bracelet which I’m pleased about. In its place is now a cute little bow charm my dad bought me back from a holiday on the island last year. It works perfectly on the chain and is really petite and girly, which I like.

I’ve wanted a necklace for ages and have eyed up loads in the past, but this one is perfect for me now, and since our anniversary a week ago I’ve worn it loads and it’s something I fall in love with each time I wear it.

Do you own, or wish to own one of Pandora’s necklaces? Let me know in the comments!

I’m so excited for this mini series, and I hope you guys are too.

Until next time, take care all.

Give A Little Sparkle…*

Christmas is a couple of weeks away and I know I still have loads of presents left to buy people, which sucks. BUT I’m hoping my post today will strike up some inspiration, especially if you’re wanting to buy someone something extra special.

So when Warren James contacted me to try out a few of their jewellery pieces, I said yes and I’m talking to you about the two pieces they sent to me. Therefore this is the second review to go up on my blog with an * next to it, exciting huh!? I wasn’t sent these directly from Warren James, but a company called Beattie Communications, who were lovely to deal with and sent these out super quick!

They sent me the Laguna Heart Necklace* and Kirsten Real Sterling Silver Cubic Zirconia Solitaire Ring* which as you can see are both such beautiful and simple pieces.

The first piece I’m going to talk about is the ring.

Simple and elegant DiamonFlash® Cubic Zirconia solitaire ring in a classic 6 claw setting. Rhodium finish, a member of the Platinum family, for added luxury.

This ring is so beautiful and I was so excited to receive it to review. I don’t own many rings, because I don’t feel I have the most feminine hands in the world to pull it off but this ring really does make me feel that little more feminine. When I first saw it in the box and tried it on, it really did remind me of an engagement ring and I did worry when I wore it out over the past week that someone may ask if I was engaged, but no one did (thank God!).

The diamond in this ring is gorgeous and very bling, I must say. The diamond is pretty big, which is why it reminded me of an engagement ring. It makes this a real statement piece and will look great at a New Years party with a little black dress. The band for this ring is made of sterling silver, which is indicated on the band itself. It’s also a nice size, not too thick and not too thin which I liked as it means its super comfortable to wear and whenever I wear it it doesn’t even feel like I’m wearing anything.

I asked for this ring in an M, which is the size of my middle finger, however the only finger this ring fits is my ring finger, which I found odd. It doesn’t state on the box itself or the ring which size it is, which I found a bit odd.

Now onto the price of this ring, because the pieces from Warren James all look more expensive than they actually are. This is currently in the sale from £18.00 down to £8.99. Yes this ring costs less than £10, can you believe it?

With this ring on I don’t feel the need to wear any other jewellery as the huge diamond on this just stands out beautifully and I think everyone needs a ring like this in their collection. This won’t break the bank either if you wanted to get a relative or a friend something special for Christmas this year.

Now onto the necklace, which was my favourite piece out of the two.

Elegant, romantic and feminine, the Laguna necklace is spectacular. Dive into the depths of colour to reveal prisms of inner fire and beauty; iridescent shaded flashing from within. Be captivated by this stunning piece of jewellery. Be the envy of all your friends. Super gift idea.

This necklace is stunning, absolutely stunning! It looks gorgeous on the website but in the flesh it just looks a hundred times better. I’ve wanted a necklace like this since my trip to Bristol when I found a store selling them so the fact that I finally have one is really nice.

This is a beautiful turquoise heart-shaped necklace with swarovski elements so when the light hits the heart it shows off all sorts of colours. It looks so gorgeous! The chain is 45cm but due to it having an extender you can have it at 51cm if you wished to. It doesn’t state anywhere on the website if the chain is sterling silver and there aren’t any markings on it to state it either, but this doesn’t bother me. My magpie eyes were too busy being hypnotized by the turquoise heart!

Not only is there the swarovski heart on this piece, but the loop above it that you thread the chain through has little diamonds on it, which I think makes this piece look that little bit more luxurious and expensive looking. I like that it isn’t bland, it gives it a little more character to the piece itself.

So, you want to know how much this was? It’s in the sale and originally cost £59, and is in the sale for £16. Can you believe it? Because I couldn’t when I saw how much it cost!

Overall I love this necklace and since receiving it, I haven’t stopped wearing it. I only have one necklace and it’s a red heart locket, so to have another heart-shaped piece in my collection is really nice. I already know I’m going to wear this for my holiday and I can’t wait as it’ll look gorgeous from the day until the evening. This is a simple but effective piece that you can wear from day-to-night with any outfit.

So what do I think of the pieces overall? I LOVE them and I’m not just saying that because I was sent them to review. You know me, I’m honest and if I didn’t like them I would say.

Both pieces really do stand out but are simple at the same time, which I really do like. They feel light weight and I know they’ll work perfectly with any outfit. They especially work together and compliment one another very well so if I wear one piece, I know the other will be worn alongside it.

Warren James are a great jewellery store and their pieces are all as beautiful as one another. With Christmas just over two weeks away you still have plenty of time to do your Christmas shopping if you haven’t picked anything up. I’ve looked at buying pieces from them before for myself, as well as my Mom in the past. There are loads of different pieces to choose from and they’re all at amazing prices.

I already have my eye on a few other pieces I may pick up after Christmas.

So, do you like the look of Warren James? Hey maybe you already own some pieces from them! If so, which pieces? I’d love to hear about them.

Definitely check out Warren James, this is their website and they have stores all over the UK, which you’ll be able to locate on the website too.

I hope everyone is well and getting ready for Christmas, it’ll be here before you know it.

Until next time take care all and have a great week.

May Wish List

I can’t believe it’s May already, this year is really flying by and I can’t believe in a year I’ve had so much change in my life (will be making a post about this me thinks!).

My wish list for this month isn’t very long I’m afraid as there isn’t much I REALLY want or need… I say need, I never reallllly need anything I add to my wish lists. 😛

So let’s get on with the wish list for this month!

May Wish List

  • Dr Martens 1460 Boots in Black – £100.00.

For a long time I had wanted a pair of Dr Martens boots and in 2009/2010I bought my first pair! They were the same style as these ones but they were  patent bright red leather, very much different from these black ones! For a month I never wore them due to the fact they were a size too small. The girl who sold me them stated that I should go down a size due to the fact that they would give way with wear and if I was to buy my actual size they would be far too big. She was a bit of an idiot because these killed my feet to wear which she stated was “normal”. I took these back after a month and bought some black ankle boots instead, which I still love to this day. A couple of years later I bought my Dr Martens Triumph Boots (post about them here) which I’m in love with! As much as I love them mind they’re a tad long and bulky for the warmer months but at the same time I really want to start wearing Docs again and I’m also craving another pair of Docs anyway. Although I also love the red cherry pair, the black pair will go with everything so those are the ones I’m really craving to get right now. A part of me wants to try and pick up a second-hand pair so that they won’t be as much money and they’d also be broken in and look more grunge and awesome… But I shall see!

  • Oh Lola EDP by Marc Jacobs. 30ml – £37.00, 50ml – 47.00 & 100ml – 63.00. (FYI you can pick this perfume up cheaper on certain websites online)

As you can see from the picture above I have a couple of perfumes on here that I’m really wanting and this is one of them. For quite a long time now I’ve been craving to get a  Marc Jacobs perfume as they just smell so damn good and last ages on the skin and the one I’ve been finding I like the scent of most is Oh Lola. It’s a gorgeous fruity and floral scent with notes of effervescent raspberry, peony heart and vanilla. I’m not sure what ml I would like, but a 50ml bottle would be lovely as that would be a good size for my handbag, as well as the fact it would keep me going for quite a while! With Marc Jacobs fragrances they not only smell lovely but the bottles themselves looked lovely as well! Oh Lola is a pink bottle and the lid of the bottle is a plastic flower that is three different shades of pink, as well as green to symbolise the flowers leaf. Marc Jacobs perfumes are just wonderful and I would like to own quite a few in my perfume collection!

  • DC Vista Snowboarding Jacket – Was £195.00, Now £65.00. (FYI you can pick this perfume up cheaper on certain websites online)

As old readers will know I’m hoping to start snowboarding lessons this year after my boyfriend got me into the sport around the time when we first started going out. If not there’s about it here. I’m needing to get myself some gear together first before I start my lessons and the jacket is one of the main pieces I wish to try and get my hands on next. This jacket is gorgeous and it’s also a very good snowboarding jacket! It’s 10K which means that the jacket will keep me nice and warm, as well as dry. It’s a lovely blue colour that will go well with my snowboarding pants and whilst I don’t have a colour scheme in mind right now, I can see it going down a blue and yellow theme, seeing as my pants are a banana yellow! £65.00 for a DC snowboarding jacket is a very good price and one I don’t see me letting go!

  • BONBON EDP by Viktor & Rolf. 30ml – £50.00, 50ml – £68.00 & 90ml – £94.00.

In January this year I heard about this perfume coming out and I would be lying if I said I wasn’t excited for it! I’m still to smell it and I already know that I will love it already and quite frankly I can’t wait to get my mucky paws on it! I love Flowerbomb by Viktor & Rolf so I’m pretty sure I would love  BONBON too, especially due to the fact it’s a sweet scent, which is something I love, especially during the spring and summer. The notes for this perfume sound so sweet that I doubt I’ll have a sweet tooth whilst wearing it! The main note is caramel, which is said to be the first thing people notice when they smell this perfume, as well as some citrus and musky notes such as sandalwood and amber. Not only does it sound delicious but the bottle is incredibly adorable too! It’s a dark pink bottle in the shape of a bow, which just makes it look so quirky and cute and reminds me of something you would buy when you’re a teenager. This perfume is definitely something to bring out the young teenager in all women and I’m super excited to finally give this a smell later on today!

  • Revlon Parfumerie Scented Nail Enamel in Chocolate Truffle and Espresso – £6.49 each.

When I first heard about these I wasn’t too fussed about them due to the fact that there are or have been so many scented nail polishes around before that it didn’t seem like anything new or special for that matter, however the last weekend of April consisted of me popping into Boots with my boyfriend so that he could pick up a late Mother’s Day present and whilst he was paying for his goods I went to have a mooch at the make up, including the Parfumerie collection. On the stand they had some little paper stickers that were scented to the nail polish the were in front of. Not all of them had these but the ones that did smelt gorgeous! Sadly Chocolate Truffle and Espresso weren’t there but that doesn’t bother me, I’m sure I’ll get to smell them eventually. I have looked at swatches and reviews of both of these shades and the colours themselves have been praised, but the scent, not so much on some occasions. Chocolate Truffle is a gorgeous dark chocolate-brown shade, which looks gorgeous and would make a nice change to a dark blue or even a black! Espresso is a black glossy shade and whilst I have black shades, you can’t go wrong with a black shade that smells of coffee, even though that’s all I smell all day at work! Either way at £6.49 each I can see me picking one of these up, more likely Chocolate Truffle.

  • Love Hearts and Crosses Silver Origami Fox Necklace and Ring – £12.99 each.

The final item on my wish list is one I discovered literally two days before this post was due to be up on my blog and a jolly good find at that! I only own 2 necklaces and I don’t really wear either. One was a 21st birthday present from someone and is a Storm necklace and another is one my Mom bought me, which has been featured on my blog before. It’s a red locket with a silver chain and the reason I don’t wear it much is when I get anxious I faff and fiddle with it which tends to annoy myself, as well as other people. The only piece of jewellery I wear really is my Pandora bracelet, which I love dearly! When I stumbled across this necklace on Love Hearts and Crosses I fell in love with it instantly! They have all sorts of animals to choose from including a rabbit, elephant, fox (which is the one I’ll be talking about), hummingbird and there’s one called bunny rabbit too I don’t know if this is meant to be for rabbit but I’ll mention it anyway. They also come in 3 colours, gold, rose gold and silver which is the one I’d opt for and finally you can get each animal on a bracelet, as earrings, a necklace or a ring. Upon having a closer look at the Fox Ring too, I have decided I really like the look of that too, it’s light and delicate looking and something I would proudly wear on middle finger. BUT onto the design of the Fox itself. As the name suggests and the pictures show it’s shaped like an origami fox and it just looks really quirky and different from what you would normally find. The only flaw with the necklace and ring is that they aren’t real silver and excuse me sounding snobby, but I only really want real silver. I’ve bought fake silver in the past and it’s often turned my skin green as well as turning green itself and that’s not something I really like, or want for that matter. But for £12.99 I can’t complain and for the necklace I can always pick up a real silver chain if I do so wish. This might be something I pick up before my weekend holiday in June… Keep eyes peeled for details about that!

So that was my wish list for May! I know it’s nothing exciting or special but I really can’t think of all that much I want at the moment. My number 1 item on this wish list is probably the Dr Martens, or one of the perfumes… I’d have them all if I had the money! 😛

What are you lusting after this month? Let me know in the comments down below!

Until next time, take care all and have a great weekend. 🙂
