Ohayou! Clothing – Animal Crossing Enamel Pins

If there are three things I love it’s Animal Crossing, enamel pins and of course the lovely Ohayou! Clothing. So when all three of these come together, you can only imagine how excited I am to get a piece of that in my life.

Recently Chrissy over at Ohayou! Clothing released a Kickstarter called Good Boys & Girls. At first I wasn’t all that interested, which isn’t a bad thing! There were Fruits Basket designs there (I LOVE FRUITS BASKET!) but again, I wasn’t all that fussed. Then when she announced there would be some Animal Crossing designs, I knew I had to pledge!

I pledged for both the Villager Day (Isabelle) and Night (K.K. Slider) designs. They’re so damn cute and although I love the K.K. Slider pin more, I don’t think I could have just chosen one of them.

These arrived recently and although it’s probably nothing special or major to my readers, I just had to show you all these gorgeous designs and why if you’re an Animal Crossing fan, you should get them too. πŸ˜›

First of all, I don’t know about you guys but I am SO EXCITED for Animal Crossing: New Horizons to come out in March!!! I’ve even booked the day off work so I can spend all day playing it. Sad, or what? πŸ˜›

I do already own an Isabelle pin by Ohayou! Clothing, but I honestly adore this design so much more. I think it’s because it goes with K.K. Slider really well and it means I can wear them together and they match, you know?

I’m not going to lie, until I went onto the website just now to find the link, prices etc for both of these pins, I didn’t realise the day and night theme behind them at all! I really like this aspect from playing the Animal Crossing games where Isabelle will be around in the day to help and K.K. Slider will be around at night to play his sweet music in Roost.

Both pins are on gold enamel, which I think works really well with both designs and on the back of each pin there is the Ohayou! Clothing logo. I love when pins have this touch, because sometimes you might buy a pin from a designer you don’t usually and you may forget what their company was called. Plus, it looks more designer… Move over Chanel and Dior! πŸ˜›

Both pins come with gummy backs, which I LOVE! I hate the old fashioned metal ones that you pinch.

Overall I love these two pin badges and have already worn my K.K. Slider one when I went out to town with Dane recently for a couples morning/afternoon. I wore it on my red tartan shirt. They’re both a great size and are instantly recognisable as being two of the famous Animal Crossing characters.

I would love if Chrissy designed some more of the Animal Crossing characters, such as Tom Nook. He would be cool to have as maybe a “dusk” character? I’d definitely snap him up. πŸ˜›

Thank you again to Ohayou! Clothing for once again causing me to spend my monies! πŸ˜› These pins have now joined my pin flag! Look at all the gorgeous pins I have… πŸ˜›

I will pop Ohayou! Clothing’s website, as well as social media down below:

Do you guys like the Animal Crossing cuties that I picked up from the Kickstarter? Do you have your eye on anything from Ohayou! Clothing? If so, what? Make sure to let me know in the comments down below! I’d love to hear which pins and other items you’re after.

Until next time, take care all and I hope you had a great weekend and start to the week so far!

July Wish List ’19

Where did June go? I felt like it was only yesterday that I was preparing for a nice week off with Dane and then BAM HELLO IT’S JULY! Honestly though, how shite was June weather wise? It was well and truly awful to be fair and I’m glad we’re getting some nice sunshine right now. πŸ™‚

I’m currently sat at my dining table with a gorgeous cup of Ed’s Coffee House caramel coffee and I’m planning on writing as much as I can before I need to head out later for a D&D session! This months wish list was pretty hard to be honest with you as I’m trying to be good right now due to Japan coming up, (I know it’s 5/6 months away but it will be here before we know it!) which is boring but meh.

Anyhoo – I hope your enjoy this months haul! I feel like there’s so much Japanese inspired stuff there. πŸ˜›

  • Vans x Lazy Oaf Old Skool Platform (No longer available)

I know these are limited edition and no longer available (unless you pay an absolute fucking fortune!) but I still want them. I regret not buying them so damn much when they came out last year. Like stupidly regret it. Recently I noticed someone was selling my size on eBay at a decent price. They looked legit and when the seller offered to knock Β£10 off – I bought them straight away. Over a week later I was chasing the seller for my shoes and ended up getting a refund. I was so pissed off… I really wanted the shoes, especially for such a bargain. I’m still on the hunt for these and if you happen to find any in a size 7 for a decent price (no more than Β£60 with postage!) please let me know! πŸ™‚

  • Elfen Lied Omnibus Volume 1 (link)

I cannot tell you how happy I was when I recently discovered that this manga was coming out in English. Honestly my younger 16 year old self would have been over the moon with this coming out. Basically this manga has been running in Japan since 2002 – which is nearly 20 years ago now since it first came out. This was the first manga I read, as well as the first anime I watched. Elfen Lied is pretty much what got me into the things I am today, which is amazing to be honest with you so it really does mean the world to me to finally see the manga in English.

Now you’re probably wondering, “Okay hang on Nat! You said you’ve read the manga… But it’s only just come out in English? How did you read it then?” The magic of translation my friends! πŸ˜› Someone translated it years ago online so I remember when I bought my first laptop 10 years ago (FUCK I FEEL OLD!) I found the manga on a PDF reader and basically flicked back and forth over the pages, reading it. πŸ˜›

It looks like there will be four omnibus volumes overall, which the second one due out in October. I would love to see the anime redone – just like they’ve done withΒ Fruits Basket recently. I’d still love to see Elfen Lied Nendoroid’s released too. πŸ˜›

  • Pokemon Holiday Night Collection Ichican Kuji (link)

This is a kuji I’ve decided to do! I’ve never done one before to be perfectly honest with you so this will be a first! It just looks too good to resist having a go on. I’ve regretted not taking part in some of the Animal Crossing kujis in the past and that in itself annoys me. I’ve got this through YY Kawaii on her Instagram merch page (link and link) and the prizes are adorable! There’s a couple of plushies, some holiday travelling essentials, pots and towels. It makes a change seeing some “useful” items in a kuji as opposed to the usual charms, towels and random figures. I really hope I get some good pulls from this!

  • Insert Coin Clothing Persona 4 Teddie Pocket Tee (link)

I’ve already pre-ordered this tee, but I just had to mention it here today as it’s too good not to! πŸ˜€ I LOVE Persona 5, as my readers all know and I have had a go at Persona 4 Golden (which I am currently stuck on!) which I also really love. I’m reading the Persona 4 manga too, which I actually enjoy more than the game… But this may be due to the fact I’m stuck on it… πŸ˜› Either way I saw the cute Teddie pocket tee and just knew I had to have it! I recently bought myself an amazing black pair of mom jeans from New Look and I intend to wear them together loads throughout the summer, as well as the rest of the year. πŸ˜› Of course I would be a fool not to wear this to Japan too.

When this tee arrives – I’ll definitely be doing a post on why I love Insert Coin Clothing’s tees so much! I have this one, as well as their Persona 5 Morgana tee too.

I noticed this mug was going around my Twitter feed about a week or so ago and honestly I have fallen in love with it and I really need it in my life. I really don’t need anymore mugs, but if I didn’t pick this up I would honestly be a fool and regret it until I did. I LOVE Animal Crossing and as an ex barista I also love the coffee theme of the mug. It was always one of my favourite parts of Animal Crossing: New Leaf to daily go and work my shift at The Roost Cafe, as well as sit and drink some pigeon coffee. It looks like the mugs will go on sale on Sarah Dandh’s store on 10th July – so I’ll be making sure to pick one up. πŸ˜›

Finally we have one of my favourite independent artists out there, who has done it again with her recently Kickstarter campaign! πŸ˜€ As soon as I saw she was going to be addingΒ Animal CrossingΒ designs to the campaign, I put myself down for two pins and it will be both KK Slider and Isabelle who I opt for. I actually already have an Isabelle pin by Ohayou! but it won’t hurt to have another one, will it? I don’t have a KK Slider as of yet and look how damn cute this boi is! I honestly can’t wait to get these already as I’ll wear them together on my jacket(s) as well as potential ita bag in the future. This campaign has now finished, BUT Ohayou! is a good egg and will probably have them for sale in her store anyway. πŸ˜›

So that’s my wish list for July! Again, I honestly cannot believe we are over halfway through 2019 now. It’s scaring me as not only does it mean I’m getting closer to being 30 but it also means it’s closer to us going to Japan and I am SO nervous for that!

Which items do you have on your wish lists this month? Do you have your eye on any of the items I have too? Make sure to let me know in the comments below! πŸ˜€

Until next time, take care all and I hope you’re having a lovely week, almost the weekend now, eh?

Ohayou! Clothing Persona 5 Phantom Thieves Pins

This is a post I’ve been meaning to get around to writing for agggges now! It was thanks to a chat with Amy over at Writing into the Ether that encouraged me to write this post sooner rather than later. She loves pins just as much as I do! I picked up all of these pins back before Christmas through Ohayou! Clothing‘s Kickstarter, as well as their store online.

As many of my readers will know I LOVE Persona 5, just as much as I do with Pokemon so when Ohayou! (who in turn are my favourite designer) brought out the first two Phanton Thieves designs, I was hooked. So, I thought I would talk about these amazing pins on my blog today, because why not?! πŸ˜€

So far the collection has seven pins, which consist of Joker, Panther, Mona, Skull, Fox, Queen and Oracle.

There should really be nine, the missing two being Noir and Crow. I hope in the future that Ohayou! designs and releases these two eventually, as I’d love to own all of the Phantom Thieves, even the evil Crow! πŸ˜›

The pins themselves are all gold plated and come with two pins so you can feel a bit more secure when wearing these pins on bags, clothing, etc.

The first two designs that came out were Joker and Panther, which I bought the day they were released. I loved the designs but couldn’t stand the thought of wearing them in case they got lost, damaged or misplaced. So I decided to wait and see if Ohayou! would bring out anymore designs. Not long later she released her Kickstarter and slowly released the other five designs.

Eventually Ohayou! Clothing started posting out peoples Kickstarter awards and hence I received the rest of the Phantom Thieves pins!

I’ll be showing them all off on the photos down below.

Joker

Skull

Mona

Panther

Fox

Queen

Oracle

I don’t believe that there are many people out there making their own Persona 5 pins of the Phantom Thieves, or at least not ALL of them anyway! I have seen the odd Joker and Panther pins flying around but other than that it’s mostly just masks.

I just love the chibi design that Ohayou! Clothing has done with the Phantom Thieves, as well as adding cute little poses with them all too! I especially love that their eyes have hearts in, with each having their eye colours.

If I had to pick a favourite out of the bunch I really love Fox with his side smile, as well as Skull with his grin. They’re all gorgeous though in their own way. The design is just perfect for all of them! As a Persona 5 fan I couldn’t have asked for a better bunch of pins.

Not only can you buy these pins in their standard versions for Β£8.99 but you can also pick up the slightly imperfect versions for Β£7.99. This means they might have a slight discoloration, scuff etc. I’ve purchased both from Ohayou! Clothing in the past and both have been just as good as the other.

In the future I hope we get the two missing Phantom Thieves, who are Noir and Crow.

Do you love Persona 5 and pins just as much as I do? Make sure to go and check out her designs over on the store, the link is here for you! πŸ™‚

If you love cute pin badge designs, make sure to go and check out Ohayou! Clothing’s other pin badges over on their store! They’re my favourite out there.

What are some of your favourite pin badges you own, as well as designers? Make sure to let me know in the comments down below!

Until next time, take care all and I hope you’re having a lovely week so far. πŸ™‚

August Wish List ’18

Well this post is a day later than it usually is! I can’t actually remember the last time a wish list post was late, considering they’re one of the easiest to do! All you do is talk about shit you want to buy. πŸ˜› I did struggle with that a little this month though. I’ve been quite naughty with money of late, but at the same time I’m just having treats I’ve earnt each month really

This month was especially hard though because there isn’t much I want to buy really. Anything I had thought of adding to this list I’d bought before I went to edit the pictures. Mainly stuff for work, which I’ll be posting about later on this month in an August collective haul.

But for now I’ll talk about stuff I’m lusting after and whether I buy them or not, is another thing. πŸ˜›

  • Ohayou! Clothing Persona 5 Futaba Keychain/Charm – (link)

I have spoken time and time again on my blog about Ohayou! Clothing and her amazing designs and pieces that she sells. You can read about some of her pins I own here. When she posted on social media that she had designed Futaba from Persona 5, I was over the moon! As soon as she released the keychain/charm I had to pre order! I cannot wait to see what else she comes out with, especially from the Persona 5 series.

  • Daisy Street Oversized Rainbow Stripe Cardigan – (link)

I don’t even know how I discovered this cardigan, but I did and I’m not going to lie, halfway through writing this post I bought it. πŸ˜› I know I have my Honey Punch rainbow cardigan (which you can see here) but I wanted another one, which is shorter and easier to wear at work and out and about. Plus I’m always wearing that rainbow one, I don’t want to wear it out! I could never have too many rainbow cardigans to be honest with you. πŸ˜›

  • Nendoroid Persona 5 Joker

When this Nendoroid was announced a couple of months ago I was super excited, BUT when it was shown off in colour I AM EVEN MORE EXCITED NOW! This isn’t out for pre order yet and I don’t know if it will this month. I just know I want it and as soon as the Nendoroid store I use release it for pre order, I’ll be doing just that. I have Futaba pre-ordered and I’m so excited for her. I cannot wait for my little Persona 5 family!

  • Pinata Planter – (link)

This is a planter I’ve had my eye on for a while, since May to be honest. I have an aztec llama planter in my bedroom, which I don’t have a plant in to be honest… But that’s because I don’t know WHAT plant to put into it! BUT this pinata planter is so adorable and I’d definitely keep something in it. I’d buy a little aloe plant to pop in as me and Dane really want one. This is something I’d pop on a Christmas or birthday present ideas list.

  • Himouto! Umaru-chan Vol. 1 and Vol. 2 – (link) and (link)

I love my manga and this is one I have wanted to read for YEARS now, but it only came out in the UK late June this year. It’s been out in Japan for years now, ever since the anime started of the same name. I’m naughty and have already ordered both of the volumes and the sooner 3, 4 and 5 grow close to coming out in the UK I’ll be ordering those too. I cannot wait to start reading this manga, I’m so excited.

  • Daisy Street Relaxed Chunky Knit Stripe Cardigan – (link)

This is currently in the sale at ASOS and is either out of stock/sold out or in the odd size that someone is obviously returned. I was close to ordering this but missed out on a size I could have bought. It’s super cheap and is exactly the same as the bright rainbow one in this list, but this one is pastel colours. Estelle over atΒ estellosaurus has this cardigan and has posted it on her Instagram in the past. It’s gorgeous to be honest and is definitely a cardigan I’d like to add to my wardrobe for both in and out of work.

So that’s my wish list for this month! A day late, sadly… But I’m sure you guys won’t mind me being behind for one day. πŸ˜›

This weekend I have decided to do nothing but chill out with Dane, even though we’ve just been so busy doing this and that to really have time to chill out.

What have you guys been doing with your weekends and what do you have on your wish lists this month? Make sure to let me know in the comments down below.

Until next time, take care all!

Ohayou Clothing! Pin Badge Collection – Part 1

You know when I say, “This is a blog post I’ve been meaning to do for a while!” on some of my posts? Well I usually mean a couple of weeks… However this time I mean months. I’ve been meaning to write this post FOR MONTHS.

Now in this circumstance I have been meaning to talk about Ohayou Clothing! in general for YEARS now and I honestly mean that! It’s taken me so long to write about this brand and Chrissy the amazing owner because I’ve wanted to make sure what I write and post about her is exactly spot on and be perfect.

I have finally decided exactly how I want to talk about Ohayou Clothing! on my blog and I am so bloody excited to be honest with you! I’ve been working on this blog post mentally for months now, since the Eeveelution Kickstarter launched in March.

Instead of talking about any of the clothing I own by Ohayou Clothing!, I thought I would start on my ever growing pin badge collection and at the moment Ohayou Clothing! is dominating my pin flag… Soon enough I’ll have to get a separate pin flag purely for her marvellous pins.

ANYWAY enough chin wagging, it’s time to FINALLY get on with my first (of I’m sure many) Ohayou Clothing! post!

When Ohayou Clothing! announced her Sleeping Eeveelutions Kickstarer campaign I was so excited and made sure to back her campaign as soon as I could! She had a few issues with her Kickstarter due to copyright issues with Nintendo and Pokemon and it had to be frozen for a while. However, it was all sorted in the end and her Kickstarter continued and it did so well. I’m so proud of how much she made with the campaign! It’s definitely a Kickstarter I’ve had a pleasure being a part of.

When the campaign came to an end, it was time to decide which pin design you wanted and the one I settled on (after a bit of a struggle) was the sleeping Vaporeon pin. It’s so adorable and cute! I love how all of the sleeping Pokemon pins have themes based on their type. Of course Vaporeon being a water Pokemon it’s sleeping on a beach. It was tough to be honest having to pick just one pin as my reward (I only opted to back one as my pin obsession was pretty nonexistent then…) only allowed me to have one pin. I just love Vaporeon though and the beach scene reminds me of Fuerteventura, which is my second home.

After these pins were released and sent to their new owners, Chrissy opened up a secret shop on her store for people to come and buy brand new sleeping Pokemon pins, as well as seconds pins.

Seconds pins are pins that have been sent with issues, such as wrong colour, marks on various parts of the pin and basically just anything wrong with the pin that you can think of!

Although I had my heart set on the Vaporeon pin all along, I did fall in love with the Mew pin that was brought out as the first unlocked reward. So when Mew came out as a seconds pin, I knew I had to order! It recently arrived in the post and I have to say, I wouldn’t even think it was a seconds pin! It looks just as good in quality as the Vaporeon pin, as well as some other pins I own by Ohayou Clothing! The one thing I love about the Mew pin is that it’s surrounded by Japanese sakura (well it looks like that to me anyhoo! :P) and it’s just so cute! I can’t wait to wear it throughout winter to be honest with my cream jumper.

When I ordered my Mew pin I decided to order the Spyro pin that Ohayou Clothing! designed recently. I wasn’t going to to be honest as the smart adult in my brain was saying, “No Nat, you don’t need that!” whereas the nostalgic youngster in my knew she had to have it.

Spyro is a massive part of my gaming life as I used to play it when I was younger during the summer holidays with my cousins. We’d take it in turns to go around each world and attempt to complete them 100%. I loved it!

So I knew I needed the Spyro pin badge in my life! It’s so adorable and I cannot wait to wear it over the summer and winter months for work. The remastered Spyro games are out in September so I’ll be rocking this pin on jumpers throughout that month for sure.

The thing I love the most about this design is how much of a rebel Spyro STILL looks, whilst giving the pins design a cute kawaii feel. Also, look at that glitter, it’s so fabulous! πŸ˜€ I know not everyone knows what half of the Pokemon are anymore who are out, but everyone who was around in the 00’s will know who Spyro is.

Finally I’m going to talk about the Pin Dream pins I have from Ohayou Clothing! so far. NOW when I started writing this post towards the end of last week, it was before some sad news from Ohayou Clothing about her Pokemon designs and pins.

Like when the Kickstarter was around, Nintendo and Pokemon have got to Ohayou Clothing! again and told her she has to stop making and selling Pokemon designs. I am gutted to be perfectly honest with you. Due to this, the Vaporeon pin will be the last Pokemon pin for the Pin Dream pins. I was so excited for the rest of the Eeveelution doughnut designs to come out, but that aside I’m angry on behalf of Chrissy. There are plenty of other people out there who are inspired by Pokemon and their designs to create their own designs and images of certain ones. There are loads of Kickstater campaigns out there that are producing Pokemon inspired pins, as well as hundreds of Etsy stores and even Redbubble. So why is Ohayou Clothing! getting it and no one else appears to be? Well, yet anyway.

Either way I will continue to support Ohayou Clothing and Chrissy with her store, as well as with her future Pin Dream designs!

For now though, I will talk about the first two pins she came out with for her Pin Dream Patreon. They’re both Pokemon pins and I love them so damn much, as I said, I’m just gutted I won’t ever be able to own all 9 pins. 😦

The first pin was an Eevee doughnut pin and I knew I wanted it so much! The design of it is adorable, from the sparkly brown doughnut, to the fluffy tail dangling down, and the adorable little tongue that Eevee is sticking out. There is nothing wrong with this pin and it definitely ticks all the KAWAII boxes.

Chrissy always packages all her parcels perfectly and with the Patreon Pin Dream’s you get a couple of little extras too as a thank you for supporting her. With the Eevee doughnut I got a sticker of Eevee sleeping as well as a Glaceon badge.

The second Pin Dream is the Vaporeon doughnut and sadly I haven’t had the chance to wear it and show it off yet. This only arrived recently but I’m sure I’ll wear it at some point soon for work or in general. This pin is just as gorgeous as the Eevee one with the blue glitter doughnut this time. Not going to lie the Eevee pin is definitely cuter than Vaporeon, but the blue makes up for that! πŸ˜€ This will be lovely to wear on my red coat during the winter season.

Like with the Eevee pin (as well as all of her packages to be honest…) the Parteon package for Vaporeon came with some lovely little extras again, including an Eevee and Vaporeon sticker, as well as some Japanese candy, which was really yummy. πŸ˜›

So, that’s my pin collection from Ohayou Clothing! so far.

I am gutted about the whole Pokemon palava with Chrissy, especially considering she had so many cute ideas coming up with Pokemon, including Cubone and Dragonite, which I was excited to get during her designing stages.

I really hope in the future that Nintendo and Pokemon chill out and allow Chrissy to continue being amazing. OR they could just offer her a job to designs some new merchandise for the Pokemon Centre in Japan. πŸ˜›

What do you guys think of Ohayou Clothing’s! cute pin badges? πŸ˜€ Which do you like the most? Maybe you already own some of her merchandise! She doesn’t just design pins, she designs clothing, as well as homeware. I live in my Eevee and Umbreon varsity jackets when it isn’t hot! πŸ˜€

Let me know in the comments what you think of Ohayou Clothing! AND if like me you don’t agree with how Nintendo and Pokemon are treating her, then join me in talking about it online on Twitter and Instagram.

Oh by the way, do you guys like my little Mii Kun that has recently come into my life? πŸ˜› I’ll be talking about him properly soon, but I love him so bloody much! He’s from the anime How To Keep A Mummy, which you should watch if you love cute anime series.

Here’s a little bonus picture I posted on my Twitter page…

He looks so realistic here. I love the plushie so fucking much and I really hope to feature him more when it comes to talking about anything kawaii and Japan related. πŸ˜›

Anyhoo, until next time I hope everyone had an amazing weekend!

May 2018 Collective Haul!

I don’t know how managed to collect so much stuff over the course of a month but I have! I haven’t written a haul post in forever so I thought it would be nice to do one today. I just feel like I’m accumulated loads of goodies, some of them are gifts as well which I’ll mention when I get to them. I thought it might be a good idea to write about all the shit (hahaha :P) I’ve purchased recently. I love reading haul posts, especially collectives ones so I thought you guys might have liked to read this too! πŸ˜€

  • Barbie x Missguided American Flag Joggers.

Back in May Dane dug out all the McDonald’s Monopoly vouchers he’d gained and he had LOADS of Missguided ones at 30% off. I decided to take the plunge and have a look on the website for what I could treat myself to. Now, Missguided really isn’t my sort of style. I looked for ages for a dress (or two) that I could pick up for work but they’re all going out bodycon style and urgh… I’m too fat and old for that shit now. πŸ˜› I went for a look at the Barbie pieces to see what they might have cute over there and I found these joggers. On my weekends I’m really becoming a joggers/leggings and a geeky top sort of gal when it comes to popping out for errands. I picked these up in a size bigger than I am as I wanted them baggy… I should have ordered my size in all honesty. These are HUGE but at the same time it means they’re really comfortable.

  • Primark Spider-Man T-Shirt.

This t-shirt was bought on a whim after venturing into my nearest Primark store. I’m sucker for a new t-shirt and I especially am when it comes down to anything geek and nerd related! I picked up this t-shirt because of how simplistic and yet adorable it is! I don’t like that the patch is on the side that I wear my braid on, as it means my hair gets caught on it sometimes. I’ll live though! This was only Β£8.00, which I find a bargain, even for Primark!

  • Black Milk Clothing Midnight Owl Skater Dress.

This was a purchase that I am so happy I made! I love Black Milk Clothing and I especially love their skater dresses. They always make me feel so pretty no matter what and I always get complimented on them. I picked this one up on a whim from eBay, in a size bigger than I usually get, which actually fits really nicely! It’s safe to say, it’s going to now be my go to dress for work, in general and even for special occasions. This only cost me Β£25, which included P&P. To buy from Black Milk Clothing it would have cost me $85.00 AUS, which converts to Β£48.42, that wouldn’t even include how much I’d have to pay to ship it to the country and possible charges on top of that as well. URGH, buying through eBay really is the best way! I plan to wear this to a friends wedding in July and I wore it for mine and Dane’s anniversary too. I’m after some more Black Milk Clothing skater dresses now, I honestly can’t get enough of them. I’m scouring eBay daily now for whenever new items are added. I have my eye on a few, but we’ll see what happens.

  • ASOS Lady & The Tramp Sweater.

This was a random purchase on Depop that I made recently, which was also my first Depop purchase! I remember when the matching sweater and joggers of this came out on ASOS 4 years ago and being a Lady & The Tramp fan, I picked up the joggers (which I still own and wear!). I went to order the sweater a week later, but it was sold out. Zoella had worn this set and everyone went mad for it, yuck (I’m not a Zoella fan…). ANYWAY after years of finding this sweater online and it selling out, I finally took the plunge and bought it! It only cost me Β£13 with P&P which I was so chuffed about! The original cost of this was Β£30 so I was right to wait 4 years for it… I guess. πŸ˜› It’s weird that I found my wish list post back from July 2014 where I was talking about how I wanted this sweater! I feel so fucking old right now.

  • Snot Girl Volume 2.

I mentioned this comic book series recently on both my May favourites as well as on my June wish list. I remember picking up this comic book a year ago after a YouTuber raving about it. I didn’t realise the story line was going to go the way it has and due to that I love it so much and if I felt that way after reading volume 1 then oh my fucking God this volume is crazy! I won’t say anything in case I give anything away, but this comic book has gone from what I thought was going to just be about a blogger and her drama, but it’s fast turned into some sort of horror/thriller style story based around a blogger. It is so damn good and I would love to see this go into a TV series of a film in the future like how Scott Pilgrim did.

  • Miss Kobayashi’s Dragon Maid Volume 6.

I feel like I’ve spoken WAY TOO MUCH about this series lately and it’s kind of making me sick now to keep talking about it. πŸ˜› This is a manga series I love and adore and have bought as soon as it’s come out so far for all 6 volumes. I pre ordered this just before it came out and read it as soon as I got it. This is a series I really love and I especially love how now I’m further than the anime series is. I’ve not quite finished reading it yet, but I will do VERY soon. πŸ˜›

  • Miss Kobayashi’s Dragon Maid: Kanna’s Daily Life Volume 2.

Another manga I have spoken WAY TOO MUCH ABOUT recently, but can you blame me? It’s amazing and adorable! Also at the same time it’s very strange how the story of Kanna and her friend Saikawa is and this shows more throughout this series. If you love Miss Kobayashi’s Dragon Maid the anime version then you NEED to read this manga series at least! I know so many people who love Kanna, and I can’t blame them really. She’s so adorable and innocent.

These items below are now all gift related!

I recently had some issues with Lush Santa’s Christmas shower cream. It’s a bright red colour and obviously due to what they’ve added to the product to make it this colour, it’s stained various parts of my bath, as well as my shower puff and even my armpits (only for the day though). So I wrote to them on Twitter to complain. They were really helpful and offered to give me my money back, but that meant sending the product back and 1. I couldn’t be arsed to do that and 2. Why the fuck should I have to send it back?! What are they going to do with it that I can’t do myself? AKA throw it away.

They were lovely enough to also offer to sent me some goodies as a sorry, which I opted for. They asked me to list them some products I either love or would like to try. They were nice enough to send me one of my favourite products, as well as new one I’ve been wanting to try!

I just want to quickly add here that I know a lot of shit has been going on and happening around Lush lately due to their recent and disgraceful campaign. I don’t agree with it whatsoever. I also want to add I haven’t bought from Lush since I picked up the Santa’s Christmas shower creams just after Boxing Day. I need to really address my thoughts and feelings on Lush lately, but we will save that for another post!

  • Β Lush Supertramp Bubble Bar.

This is the product I mentioned being one of my favourites. I remember back in 2015 when me and Dane went to London and it was the first time I’d been to the Oxford Street Lush! This was an exclusive to the store at the time and as I loved Tramp shower gel back in the day, I knew I had to give the bubble bar a go too! The bubble bar to me is better as it isn’t as strong and it’s one I love to use when I’m feeling under the weather with hayfever or a cold. It really clears my head. I’m so happy Lush sent me this and even happier that if and when I need to buy another bar of it, I now can on their website.

  • Lush Oaty Creamy Dreamy Oat Milk Shower Cream.

This was the product I wanted to try as I haven’t really heard much about it, but when seeing how it’s made in the past it looks really moisturising! It smells amazing to be honest and really surprised me. I was expecting creamy oat and vanilla scents, but this smells heavily of lavender, which is in fact one of the ingredients. If you love lavender, you’ll love this! It’s not a thick shower cream like Santa’s Christmas and you only need a little of this for it to go a long way. This is definitely a shower cream you’d ideally want to use before bed, but I love using it in the morning on my days off as the scent does perk me up. I’ll probably buy a big bottle of this for my mom at Christmas as she loves her lavender scents.

This wasn’t a gift from Lush but actually from my manager at work! It’s belated birthday present and I am oh so grateful for it! She gave it me just before I broke up for my week off work and I used it the next morning before going to work.

  • Lush Plum Rain Shower Gel.

This is a shower gel from Lush I’ve wanted to try since it came out, but I just never have. When my manager gave it to me I was so happy and excited! So much so I opened it up for a sniff at my desk. πŸ˜› She had heard of me saying how much I love Snow Fairy and popped into the store to try and get one, but alas being a Christmas product they didn’t have it in stock. I can only assume that the staff recommended Plum Rain to her and if so, they did a good job! Then again, what else could they really recommend?! Their shower gel selection is so shit these days! I mean come on Lush, why did you discontinue The Comforter?! Surely it wasn’t doing poor in sales… I find it hard to believe myself… ANYWAY this has a gorgeous fresh scent and it actually reminds me of Christmas due to The Body Shop’s old sugar plum shower gel! This doesn’t smell as sweet as theirs though. Either way I love using this in the mornings as the scent really does wake you up!

So that was my collective haul! I know it doesn’t seem/look like a lot but bloody hell I’ve been spend happy lately! I was also going to mention mine and Dane’s anniversary presents but I’ll save that for a separate post.

I was also going to mention some of the pin badges I’ve bought from Ohayou! Clothing through their Kickstarter and Patreon but I’m going to save those for a separate post as well as I think they deserve some love all on their own! πŸ˜€ Not only will I be talking about pin badges but I intend to talk about all of their items I own so far, as well as items I’d like to own! Stay tuned for that, it’s been a post I’ve been meaning to write for the longest time!

What have you guys been buying the past month or so? Make sure to let me know down in the comments!

Until next time, take care all and I hope you had a lovely weekend.

5th Anniversary

Yesterday was mine and Dane’s 5th anniversary and honestly, I don’t know where those 5 years have gone.

I know I’ve given you all the sop before but I just wanted to write about us here, because it’s nice and stuffs. πŸ˜›

We both met through POF (Plenty of Fish), which for those of you who live under a rock and don’t know, it’s a dating site. I remember an old friend telling me how she’d met guys through the website and had gotten loads of dates (even though she never went on any…) with guys.

A couple of months later in jest I was talking to my friend Jacqui about the website, and suggested we both give it a go. We set our profiles up and before we knew it we were ready to meet some guys! Urgh they were either grim, clingey and professing their love or just after a quick shag.

Then Dane messaged me, he was sweet and we had quite a lot in common. I remember my first comments were, “He’s ginger!” and “He’s from Coventry… Is that far from here?”

We spoke for a week via the website and then moved to texting as it was easier. Before long we were arranging out first date and met in Birmingham for drinks. From then on it was just date, date, date! We went to Milton Keynes a couple of days later for a second date and then after that a week later we met up for a shopping trip in Birmingham.

It must have been almost a month before and Dane decided to become a couple during a gig. It was lovely to be honest and was nice to wait a little before jumping it. I think we both knew though that we liked each other and wanted to make it work.

6 months later on my birthday we said those 3 little words and since then we’ve just been so in love and all that soppy shit!

For our first year together we went to Bristol for a long weekend. I loved it so much and it’s a city I have always wanted to visit again, but sadly just never have… Not for any real reasons why either to be honest with you.

That is until our fifth anniversary where we decided to head to Chedder Gorge for a couple of days before the weekend, which also involved a trip to Bristol, as well as a trip to Weston Super Mare.

Before I go into what we got up to, we gave each other our anniversary presents early as sadly we both knew what we’d bought one another. As we always do at Christmas, birthday’s and especially anniversary, we always gift each other a Nendoroid (or two!).

Kakashi Hatake on the left, Nana Ebina on the right.

Dane has recently started to collect the Naruto Nendoroids so it’s lovely that I could help towards that by buying himΒ Kakashi Hatake.

Himouto! Umaru-chan is one of my favourite anime series! Dane bought me Umaru for Christmas in 2015. It’s lovely how nearly 3 years later I can now have her teamed up with Nana Ebina! πŸ˜€

I love the Nana Ebina Nendoroid so much! I especially love the little cat body pillow she comes with, which is unbelievably soft!

This year I bought Dane Kakashi Hatake from Naruto and Dane bought me Nana Ebina fromΒ Himouto! Umaru-chan.

Sadly I didn’t manage to get a picture of Kakashi Hatake in his box, Dane got him out as soon as he received him and was playing around with his positions, etc. So I decided to show pictures of them in our Nendoroid cabinet instead! I hope you like them! We always try and make our Nendoroids look as happy and “realistic” as possible, all whilst looking cute!

The week before me and Dane broke up from work for our week off together, he booked us a 2 night stay in Webbington at a hotel and spa. It wasn’t a surprise but due to how busy I was at work the day he was booking it I didn’t realise until I got home that he had booked it!

We had originally planned to go to the Lake District and Scotland for a long weekend, but ended up cancelling that due to money. So after I suggested going to Bristol for a long weekend Dane found somewhere a drive away from Bristol and everywhere else we wanted to go.

I was a mixture of excited and nervous. Since leaving my old job I am always conscious and worried about money now so the thought of going away did worry me… Only because of money though!

The hotel didn’t cost us a lot due to Dane’s nights he’d saved up with Hotels.com, so in total we only paid Β£55 altogether for the 2 nights!

I hadn’t worn my Lumpy Space Princess Black Milk Clothing dress for the longest time, so I decided to team it up with my rainbow cardigan (which you can read about here) as well as my new Eevee doughnut pin badge from Ohayou! Clothing’s Patreon (which I’ve linked here). I felt so kawaii and cute! πŸ˜€ Sadly/thankfully I got zero comments on my outfit, which made me a tad sad considering.

Before going to the hotel though, we decided to stop off in Bristol first for a look around the shops and for some lunch. To think we went into Bristol to buy stuff we couldn’t get at home, but alas we ventured into Primark and as sad as it sounds I loved the Bristol Primark! It’s the biggest one I’ve been into to date and as it’s space out over 4 floors, there’s so much room to look around everything and not feel claustrophobic. Dane bought himself some gym/running gear, I grabbed a swimming costumes for the pool at the spa, as well as a pair of mustard yellow joggers (which make me look like the main character from Kill Bill!) and a Lady and The Tramp nightshirt, which I am BEYOND excited to wear!

Before that however we popped to Three Brothers Burgers for lunch. We discovered it the first time we went to Bristol for our first anniversary and we fell in love with the place. I’d talk loads about it here but I want to write A WHOLE REVIEW on the place on a separate blog post! For now I’ll link their website here so you can take a peek for yourselves.

I am so happy that we went to Bristol for the afternoon for various reasons, the main one being how much it reminded us of our first year together and how we celebrated it there. Bristol will always have a huge place in my heart due to that. Not only that, but it made me and Dane realise how Bristol isn’t THAT far away from Birmingham and we’ve already decided that we will go there more for days out. We’re already planning to go there for the second instalment of Gromit Unleashed with some friends!

After we’d had enough we headed to our hotel, which was gorgeous but kind of in the middle of nowhere. We had expected a village within walking distance so we could walk to a local pub for drinks, but sadly this wasn’t the case. The hotel did have a bar, but it just wasn’t what we were expecting. The spa in there was also lovely, but with how tired we were after each day we didn’t want to use it, which again is such a shame as that was the sole purpose for booking this one in the first place. But if you wanted to go in the pool and then to the steam room and sauna, you needed to walk through the gym to get from one to the other and you’d have to dry off beforehand. It didn’t make sense. Plus when we were having a guided tour I felt awkward standing in front of the sauna and steam room with half naked men sat staring at me.

So yeah, big no no! We also contemplated booking massages each, but these cost between Β£25-Β£50 and whilst I probably spent that money shopping today, I didn’t feel like wasting it on a massage. I also didn’t know whether you had to call the lady to book to do it, or go to the hotel desk and they’d sort it. I’ll just look at my local college for some cheap beauty treatments soon.

Thursday evening we were shattered and fell to sleep relatively early, ready for an early start the next day!

We got up bright and early, got washed and dressed and headed out for breakfast before going to Cheddar Gorge to explore the caves, as well as the village. I dressed in my gorgeous Midnight Owl dress by Black Milk Clothing. I love this dress so much and since buying it I’ve already worn it loads.

It didn’t take long for us to drive to Cheddar and walk through Cheddar Gorge! I’d never really heard about it before and it was all Dane’s idea to go! I was somewhat anxious walking through the caves, but I put this down to my anxiety and claustrophobia. I was okay though and I actually really enjoyed being able to see inside the caves and how they’ve formed over thousands of years!

Afterwards we popped around the museum over the road and walked up hundreds of steps, only to be left feeling shattered and achey! We deserved an afternoon cream tea. πŸ˜› Well, Dane did! I shared half of the plain scone he had with my cup of coffee. The picture isn’t showing it, but it was such a gorgeous and sunny afternoon! Soon after we had a mooch around the shops, which also included buying a slush puppy, we walked back to the car and headed to our next destination, Wookey Hole!

It didn’t take long to head over to Wookey Hole and I’d never been before, or even heard of it! It was nice to see Dane talk to fondly of it from when he visited it with his family as a child. It was incredibly sweet and I can understand why from my own experience.

Wookey Hole was different than I thought it was going to be. It wasn’t as open as Cheddar Gorge was and due to that my anxiety was quite bad at some parts of the the tour. We went around a dozen, if not more caves and to get through from some to others you had to duck right down to get under, this in itself scared me a little bit, but when you got across the other side and saw the whole cave, it was amazing! There was one area where you had to walk across metal bridges (safe by the way!) to get through one cave to the next. This is where I was incredibly anxious and urgh, when you’re surrounded by people and you feel like that it can really suck! If you’re claustrophobic then Wookey Hole might not be for you, but looking back it wasn’t as bad as it seemed.

Sadly we never took any pictures but near the gift shop there were LOADS of old games and arcade machines, which even included some rude photo viewers. Me and Dane had a go at the one for shits and giggles and it was pretty funny! It was only a woman taking off her clothes, as in she’s just got in from a busy day out and she wants that bra off! πŸ˜› You know that feeling ladies. Anyway, it was such a laugh either way and we really enjoyed looking around all the old arcade machines. We also had a go at doing the mirror maze together, as well as looking at our funny reflections in the fun house mirrors. I haven’t seen them for the longest time, probably not for a good 18 years now!

After Wookey Hole we did contemplate going home to freshen up and then head to Weston-super-mare but we just ended up heading straight there, which was a good thing because we hit SO MUCH TRAFFIC and we were pretty hungry too. We’d planned to head to the beach for some fish and chips, get an ice cream and maybe play on some arcades. The only things that happened were the first two.

We walked around for ages as I couldn’t believe that the beach was pretty much all Weston had to offer and that looked rubbish as it wasn’t the best weather. We eventually grabbed something to eat, which was lovely but I was constantly on edge that a seagull may steal my dinner! We didn’t have an issue thankfully, but a family near us certainly did! We don’t quite know what happened but at one point the family had left a full pack of chips on the wall and the seagulls were literally all attacking at it for what was inside! All you could hear was the father shouting, “GRAB IT! QUICKLY! COME ON HURRY UP!” Me and Dane sat there giggling our heads off!

We sat for a while on the beach after we’d eaten out food and just chilled. We sadly didn’t take any pictures whilst in Weston and I’m glad as it was crap there. It looked so miserable and yeah. I was gutted in all honesty about going there as it wasn’t what I remembered it to be when I was a kid. It reminded me of a shitty holiday area for British tourists. It did however inspire me to write a teen novel again, which I’ll get around to at some point.

Eventually we moved on from the beach and went in search of ice cream! For a Β£1 I had the best ice cream ever in Weston and it took me aggggges to finish it! Just the thought of it is making me want another one. πŸ˜›

After we’d eaten our ice creams it was time to head back to the hotel. We’d seen enough of Weston to last us a life time. The only thing that I’d go back for is if there was a special event on there… Probably one involving loads of food. πŸ˜›

That evening we just chilled out together watching YouTube videos. We had planned to go for a swim together but we were both far too tired for that. Plus we wanted to be up nice and early to check out and go for breakfast.

Dane had researched where we could go for breakfast in Cribbs Causeway and he discovered they had a Frankie & Benny’s. The plan was made and we went to sleep.

The next morning we did indeed get up bright and early and got ready to leave. It was quite sad leaving as whilst I wasn’t a massive fan of the spa facilities anyway, I was gutted that we hadn’t taken advantage of them. The hotel was lovely but the walls were also pretty thin. On the Friday night we could hear every word of the people’s television next to us. We could also hear people walking outside of our room and most of the floorboards creaked around the hotel. This being said, our room was gorgeous and we actually had the best one in the hotel, aka the supreme suite! I felt special knowing that to be honest with you. We also had the best shower in the world, a waterfall shower or whatever they’re called! I was anxious to use it at first as I didn’t want to get my hair wet, but now I want to get one myself! Me and Dane have added it to our, “perfect bathroom” wish list! πŸ˜›

I decided to wear a Lady and The Tramp sweater I’d recently bought from Depop, (which you will see on a future post VERY soon!) with my new yellow joggers from Primark. I was super comfortable but my only flaw with the joggers are that there’s no pockets in them. Very sad times. Not going to lie, I actually love the second picture of me as a potential new profile picture for on here! Let me know what you think. πŸ˜‰

We headed to Cribbs Causeway but we’ve only been once and the place is HUGE! It reminds me of a shopping mall by me but I feel like this place is just way bigger. Due to getting “lost” amongst all the shops we didn’t go to Frankie & Bennys, because we couldn’t find it! It would have meant driving all the way there, to drive all the way back and it just wasn’t worth it, sadly.

Instead we went to Patisserie Valerie for breakfast and it was so lovely! Dane had pancakes with fruit and I have scrambled egg, salmon and toast. It was amazing and kept us both full up until past dinner time.

We ventured around the shops for a while and I knew the one place I wanted to head into was the Gromit Unleashed shop. I knew I wanted to pick something up from here as we never did 4 years previous when we’d ventured there. Now me and Dane own our own home we’ve become that type of couple where tea towels become pretty good souvenirs! I was also going to pick up a pen and a notebook, but I have plenty of those already. This pink tea towel doesn’t really match our red, white and black kitchen but who gives a fuck! You have a live a little. πŸ˜› This was pretty decent in price so I’m glad I picked it up. It’s now washed and as soon as it’s dry, it’ll be in my kitchen and ready to use!

The next shop we ventured into was Cath Kidston. Over the past year I’ve really fallen in love with the store and their cute and vintage inspired designs. What caused me to fall in love with them was their Disney 101 Dalmatians collection which I bought a notebook from… I regret not buying more!

Since then I haven’t bought anything else from there, until today! I only went in for a nose in case they had any 101 Dalmatians goodies left, or even any cute guinea pigs items from the Pets Party collection. I discovered something even better, fox designs from their recent Park Wildlife collection!

It was Dane who noticed all the cute fox stuff I picked up from the store! It started with a pillow he spotted, which sadly I didn’t buy and slightly regret it… I’m going to keep my eye on it on the website!

I’ve been in need of a trinket dish for the past 6 months now and although I’ve ummed and ahhed at many, I’ve never picked one up because it didn’t say me! I nearly bought one yesterday when I was in Wookey Hole because it was an awesome Pingu one.

If I had of picked it up, I wouldn’t have this awesome little fox one, which is definitely more me! It fits all my jewellery perfectly and also looks adorable whilst doing so.

Finally and Dane noticed it when I was waiting by the till, but it’s this gorgeous tray with all the wildlife animals on it, especially that cute little fox. This is for our living room table to keep things organised on it. At the moment we have our sippy cup on it, television and soundbar remotes and our Xbox One and PS4 controllers. I also suggested how we can also use it for mornings when someone makes morning coffee. It’s very sturdy and I am so glad I bought this!

After we’d had enough of looking around the shops we decided it was finally time to head home.

Although I had a lovely couple of relaxing and adventurous days with Dane, I was so glad to be back home and just relax and chill.

We spent the evening doing our own thing, me doing some blog work and Dane playing some games. We cuddled and relaxed together this evening whilst E3 2018 kicked off with EA and we had some dinner.

We both had such a lovely time together celebrating out fifth anniversary and if anything it’s taught us a few things…

  • We still want a puppy/dog to take with us for adventures.
  • We love Bristol STILL and can’t wait to go there again for both days out AND Gromit Unleashed 2.
  • Three Brothers Burgers are still the best.
  • Weston is a shit hole, but the food is spot on.
  • Next time we book a spa hotel, we MEAN WE WANT A SPA HOTEL.
  • And finally, we really want a waterfall shower.

I apologise that there aren’t any pictures of me and Dane in this post, I want to keep those private for us two. We don’t really take pictures together much another so the couple of gems that we took I want for just me and Dane.

I hope everyone has had a great week though and especially a great start to the weekend! I’m back at work on Monday and whilst I’ll miss lazy mornings in bed and days spent sat in my bed playing games and writing blog posts, I will be glad to be back at work!

Until next time, take care all and I hope you enjoy the rest of your weekends.
