April Wish List ’19

Is it really April already?! 2019 is already flying by and it’s pretty damn crazy. I’m glad to be fair as I rather like 2019 but all the same, I would like time to slow down a tad. 😛

I’m going to use April as the month to really get myself back on track, especially with my blog! I’ve only been posting once a week at the moment and that’s upsetting me to be honest as I don’t like not investing into my blog, but I’ve just been too busy or too tired to do so. April already has been good blog wise and I am finding more time to write. I plan to try and spend some of this weekend catching up on writing too.

For now however, it’s time for me to talk about all the goodies I have on my wish list for this month! I hope you enjoy them, I know a lot of people love the sort of items I share and that in itself makes me so happy.

• Pandora Disney Dumbo Pendant Charm (link)

When Disney Find posted about this over on her Instagram page I KNEW I had to have it! I love Dumbo so much. It’s actually in my top 3 Disney films (alongside Lady and The Tramp and 101 Dalmatians). So when Pandora released this charm I knew I had to get it. I want to buy it this month to be honest but it’s currently sold out online, so if I have some spare cash towards the end of the month I might treat myself. I saw it in the Pandora store recently and it’s gorgeous and so detailed!

• Nendoroid Persona 5 Joker (link)

I am so excited for this Nendoroid to come out! As many of my readers will know, I LOVE Persona 5 and since I’ve played it, I am kind of obsessed with it… 😛 so when Good Smile Company decided to release the characters as Nendoroid figures I was so happy, because of course I collect Nendoroid figures like crazy, especially this year. This figure will actually be gifted to me by the lovely guys who run and own Gamersheek! I’m hoping in the future I can do a massive post about this figure, as well as the other Phantom Thieves babies. 😛

• Vans Checkerboard Classic Slip-On Shoes in Black and White Checker/White (link)

I’ve been toying with the idea of buying these on and off since the New Year and it really sucks… I remember venturing into Schuh and was about to buy them but I left it because I was in the mind of, “meh do I really need these?” So alas they weren’t bought. I was recently gifted a £25 Amazon voucher from the gorgeous bunch at my old job. I want to use it towards these Vans! 😀

• Monsoon Bea Textured Fit & Flare Dress (link)

I really love this dress, it’s gorgeous and I would really like to have it for my new job due to that! 😛 I haven’t been able to find it in store due to the fact it’s on sale but online it’s still available in my size and in my mind, a decent price. I’m torn with it though but this being said I would still like to get it. I love wearing dresses for work to be fair and this cobalt blue one would be perfect for that. We shall see…

• Pop Vinyl Figure Aggretsuko Retsuko (link)

I’m not a MASSIVE pop vinyl fan but I recently saw someone buy this Aggretsuko Retsuko one and it looks so adorable! I would rather like this cutie for my desk at work. I’m not sure though… even if I didn’t have her for my desk I think I’d like to have her regardless. 🙂

• Alan Carr – Yap, Yap, Yap! DVD (link)

Finally I’m talking about this Alan Carr stand up DVD. He’s actually one of my favourite comedians and I own his previous two stand up DVD’s to this one and they are so funny! I rewatched them both recently and remember how hilarious they were! So yeah I would love to watch this one next. I plan to buy it soon as it’s less than £3! What a bargain, eh?!

So that is my wish list for this month! A lot of stuff I would really love to buy… but I may just have to be sensible due to monies. I’m trying to save money but last month that really didn’t happen… Dane’s 30th is next weekend and I’ve been trying to spoil him rotten so my bank account has really suffered due to that.

So with it though to be fair, he’s so lovely and deserves to be spoilt!

A Mini YY Kawaii Haul

Okay, so I said I was going to be saving money this year but yet I’m posting a haul on my blog today! Some saving, eh? Well most of these items I pre-ordered months ago in all fairness and now they’re here I paid the balance off and they arrived. 🙂

So I thought I would show you guys what goodies I recently bought from YY Kawaii! I love her store so damn much and whenever I’m after certain items, I know if I ask, not only will they try their hardest to get said item(s) but they’ll also offer the best price(s) too.

The first item on I’m going to mention in this haul is one I pre-ordered back in September! I didn’t realise it had been THAT long! The wait for this Persona 5 Joker plushie has been totally worth it though and he’s so adorable! He looks really happy with his little smiling face and the detail on his outfit, as well as his face is so good! There’s quite a few of these coming out alongside Joker and even my massive Morgana plushie is a part of the nesoberi collection! This plushie will be going on my bookshelf alongside the Joker plushie I have on there already.

Another item I pre-ordered before Christmas is the Eevee Tamagotchi! I decided to order this for myself before Christmas. This wasn’t cheap and although I didn’t mind paying the price for it at the time, when it arrived I couldn’t quite believe how small it was. Fuck me it’s tiny and it’s kind of a joke how tiny it is. This being said, I like it all the same and LOVE playing it before and after work since it arrived! You could get the pink and yellow versions, I opted for the latter. As you’ve probably guessed you’re looking after an Eevee which after 3 days if lots of love and care, will turn into one of the nine Eeveelutions! I haven’t got to that point just yet, but I can’t wait to find out which one I’ll be getting already! For the price I’m glad I picked this up as they won’t be making anymore now. I would have left it in the packaging, but meh what’s the point in paying money for something I can’t play and enjoy?! Would you guys like me to review this by the way? Finally we come onto the next two items, which I pre-ordered just after Christmas and my birthday as a treat for myself. I mentioned in my “What I got For Christmas 2018” post (which you can read here) that Dane bought me four of the nine Eeveelutions as Christmas presents. This then meant I was only missing two more of the Eeveelutions, Glaceon and Leafeon. So I decided it was time to order them! Less than a month later and they’re here and I love them so much.

Out of the two I love Leafeon the most as its face is just so sweet and adorable to look at! The little brown nose really does it for me. 🙂

So that is all for my mini YY Kawaii haul! I honestly love that I’m able to easily get my hands on Japanese goodies through YY Kawaii. I honestly don’t know what I did before I discovered sellers like her.

September Wish List ’18

Yay for September! As I mentioned on my previous post, I love September and it’s by far my favourite month of the year. However, whilst I have some goodies on this wish list that I would LOVE to buy, I’m actually intending to go on a spending ban this month. Anything I buy will be because I NEED it and not because I WANT it.

This is because I plan to go to London to see my friend Sophi closer to Christmas and I need monies for that of course! 😀

So this is definitely a wish list and not a, “Fuck it! I’ll buy it!” I hope you like this wish list though. 😛

• New Look Navy and Red Check Tapered Trousers – (link)

I honestly don’t need anymore of these trousers but these are pretty nice and I can always do with more trousers for work, especially as the weather is getting cooler now. Is it sad though that one of the reasons I want these is because they remind me of the ones that Joker wears in Persona 5? HA! 😛 Yes I am a sad person. In all honesty though I love wearing these trousers for work and a recent pair I bought from New Look are so comfortable and definitely my favourites to wear.

• Nintendo 3DS Persona Q: Shadow of the Labyrith – (link)

I’m currently playing Persona 4: Golden and I LOVE that game! Although I don’t love the fact that my Phantom Thieves babies aren’t in it from Persona 5… Again, sad much?! Atlus recently announced that Persona Q2 would be coming out in Japan at the end of this year, so before we know it it’ll be out here in the UK too. I’ve been meaning to play the first Persona Q game but as of yet I haven’t. Soon as I’ve finished Persona 4: Golden, I’ll be buying this next! I’d love to get the actual game but it’s too expensive these days, especially when Nintendo eShop have it for the great price of £17.99. Whilst writing this blog post I’ve come down with a cold, so a part of me was so damn tempted to pick it up now, but meh I’ll be good. 😛

• Funko Pop! Vinyl Spyro The Dragon & Sparx – (link)

I didn’t know that this Pop was coming out until I was writing my 7 games I’m excited for post recently. I found it on the GAME website when I was looking at Spyro Reignited on there and now I want it so badly! I don’t even know where I would keep it in my house, but it just looks adorable. I’d probably end up keeping it in my manga cupboard, or even by mine and Dane’s computer. I doubt I’ll buy it, but it sure will go on a Christmas list. 😛

• Etsy TeanoSugar Persona 5 Joker Hard Enamel Pin – (link)

Urgh pin badges are kind of taking over my life and I am incredibly surprised that I haven’t ordered this yet… Again, I’m trying to be good! I have so many pin badges and sadly I can only wear one or two at a time. BUT this Joker pin badge is amazing and oh so perfect that eventually I will need it, no matter what! I’d wear this for work all the bloody time, as well as over the weekends on coats and hoodies. I would love to see Morgana and Ryuji made too and when I eventually order this pin, I’ll definitely ask the seller if they’ll be making anymore designs.

• TeePublic Wezdesign Morgana Mona Persona 5 T-Shirt – (link)

Looking back at this wish list, I feel like half of it is Persona 5 related. Sorry guys that I’m a hardcore P5 fangirl! I could be worse. 😛 I remember seeing this print/design on Redbubble ages ago but it suddenly vanished and I don’t know why. The same design is no on TeePublic and it’s pretty adorable! I need more Morgana t-shirts in my life and whilst I do like this on a t-shirt, I’d love to get it on a sweater a little bit more. I refuse to buy anymore though… Again, Christmas list. 😛

• The Body Shop Almond Milk & Honey Calming & Caring Bath Milk – (link)

This is the last item on this list and it’s definitely one I really wanted to buy at The Body Shop event I went to recently for Coventry bloggers. I thought I’d be good though but since then I’ve been thinking about it. I love a good bubble bath and since I’ve stopped buying Lush products I’m trying to find places that sell similar products for good prices. I am LOVING The Body Shop right now for bath related stuff! I recently tried one of their bath bombs and it was perfect, absolutely perfect. I really like the Almond Milk & Honey range and would love to give the bath milk a go, especially with winter coming up.

So there is my wish list for this month! I am planning not to buy anything from this list to be honest with you. I need to save my monies. 😛

August Wish List ’18

Well this post is a day later than it usually is! I can’t actually remember the last time a wish list post was late, considering they’re one of the easiest to do! All you do is talk about shit you want to buy. 😛 I did struggle with that a little this month though. I’ve been quite naughty with money of late, but at the same time I’m just having treats I’ve earnt each month really

This month was especially hard though because there isn’t much I want to buy really. Anything I had thought of adding to this list I’d bought before I went to edit the pictures. Mainly stuff for work, which I’ll be posting about later on this month in an August collective haul.

But for now I’ll talk about stuff I’m lusting after and whether I buy them or not, is another thing. 😛

• Ohayou! Clothing Persona 5 Futaba Keychain/Charm – (link)

I have spoken time and time again on my blog about Ohayou! Clothing and her amazing designs and pieces that she sells. You can read about some of her pins I own here. When she posted on social media that she had designed Futaba from Persona 5, I was over the moon! As soon as she released the keychain/charm I had to pre order! I cannot wait to see what else she comes out with, especially from the Persona 5 series.

• Daisy Street Oversized Rainbow Stripe Cardigan – (link)

I don’t even know how I discovered this cardigan, but I did and I’m not going to lie, halfway through writing this post I bought it. 😛 I know I have my Honey Punch rainbow cardigan (which you can see here) but I wanted another one, which is shorter and easier to wear at work and out and about. Plus I’m always wearing that rainbow one, I don’t want to wear it out! I could never have too many rainbow cardigans to be honest with you. 😛

• Nendoroid Persona 5 Joker

When this Nendoroid was announced a couple of months ago I was super excited, BUT when it was shown off in colour I AM EVEN MORE EXCITED NOW! This isn’t out for pre order yet and I don’t know if it will this month. I just know I want it and as soon as the Nendoroid store I use release it for pre order, I’ll be doing just that. I have Futaba pre-ordered and I’m so excited for her. I cannot wait for my little Persona 5 family!

• Pinata Planter – (link)

This is a planter I’ve had my eye on for a while, since May to be honest. I have an aztec llama planter in my bedroom, which I don’t have a plant in to be honest… But that’s because I don’t know WHAT plant to put into it! BUT this pinata planter is so adorable and I’d definitely keep something in it. I’d buy a little aloe plant to pop in as me and Dane really want one. This is something I’d pop on a Christmas or birthday present ideas list.

• Himouto! Umaru-chan Vol. 1 and Vol. 2 – (link) and (link)

I love my manga and this is one I have wanted to read for YEARS now, but it only came out in the UK late June this year. It’s been out in Japan for years now, ever since the anime started of the same name. I’m naughty and have already ordered both of the volumes and the sooner 3, 4 and 5 grow close to coming out in the UK I’ll be ordering those too. I cannot wait to start reading this manga, I’m so excited.

• Daisy Street Relaxed Chunky Knit Stripe Cardigan – (link)

This is currently in the sale at ASOS and is either out of stock/sold out or in the odd size that someone is obviously returned. I was close to ordering this but missed out on a size I could have bought. It’s super cheap and is exactly the same as the bright rainbow one in this list, but this one is pastel colours. Estelle over at estellosaurus has this cardigan and has posted it on her Instagram in the past. It’s gorgeous to be honest and is definitely a cardigan I’d like to add to my wardrobe for both in and out of work.

So that’s my wish list for this month! A day late, sadly… But I’m sure you guys won’t mind me being behind for one day. 😛

This weekend I have decided to do nothing but chill out with Dane, even though we’ve just been so busy doing this and that to really have time to chill out.

The Gamer Tag

Oh man I love a good tag post to take part in and I’ve seen a couple of game related ones floating around lately! I’m not as big a gamer as I used to be, but even so I LOVE gaming on my own, as well as with Dane and our friends.

When I saw that Eleanor had done The Gamer Tag, I thought I would give it a go myself!

Like she did, I tag anyone who reads this post and wants to give it a go.

I hope you like and can relate to my answers!

1. WHAT IS YOU GAMER TAG?

I actually cannot remember and to be honest I’m 1. Too lazy to go and find out and 2. I don’t want randomers adding me. 😛

2. PC OR CONSOLE?

I like both but I’ve always been a console gal! 😛

3. CONSOLE OF CHOICE?

PlayStation 4, but considering I have an Xbox One and a Nintendo 2DS, the possibilities are endless! But if there’s a game I really want and it’s on PS4, I’ll get a game for that.

4. HANDHELD OF CHOICE? (DS, PS VITA, ETC.)

I prefer my 2DS to my PS Vita as I find there’s more choice, but I feel like I can do that little more on my PS Vita… AKA watch Crunchyroll. 😛

5. KEYBOARD OR GAMEPAD?

Gamepad for sure! I always get flustered using a keyboard.

6. SINGLEPLAYER OR MULTIPLAYER?

Depends on the game really… I love my single player games for obvious reasons, but I love playing with my friends too on multiplayer! I’d love for Persona 5 to be multiplayer so I could play with Dane.

7. WHAT WAS THE FIRST GAME YOU HAVE EVER PLAYED?

It was probably Pop’n Twinbee on the SNES. I still own that console as well as all the games I had handed down to me from my older brother and it’s safe to say, I still love it!

8. HARDEST GAME YOU HAVE EVER PLAYED?

Mmm… I thought long and hard about this for all of a minute and it’s definitely Rocket League! I cannot play it for toffee and I just hate it purely for how much I struggle to play it. I’ve played it with friends and just ended up rage quitting. I chase after the ball constantly and do fuck all with it. URGH!!!

9. WHAT WAS YOUR FIRST GAMING SYSTEM?

The SNES! One of my older brothers bought himself a PlayStation so I had this donated to me. Years ago he asked my dad if he could have it back. Erm, no. 😛 I still love it so much and play it once in a blue moon.

10. WHAT IS YOUR FAVOURITE GAME OF ALL TIME?

Oh man it used to be Pokemon but I think it’s been pushed off by Persona 5 recently! I don’t know, it might just be a toss up between the two. I’m a bit let down by Pokemon with Sun and Moon. They’re so different, easy to play and just boring and lame. I’m also sick and tired of them adding more and more Pokemon to the games… Only for them to be shite and pointless items! I don’t mind when it adds to stuff that works, AKA the Alohan forms as well as Eeveelutions, but I’m sick of Pokemon such as a bunch of keys or an ice cream. Come on guys, sort it out!

11. WHAT GAME IS CURRENTLY YOUR FAVOURITE?

Persona 5 for sure! I’m still on my second play through and trying to make it 100%! I’m also playing Persona 4: Golden at the same time… Which reminds me, I need to continue playing it! 😛

12. FAVOURITE VIDEO GAME GENRE?

I don’t know to be honest… I’m really loving JRPGs (Japanese role playing games) at the moment and I want to get more! I love games where I can relax whilst I play them too, such as Sims 4, Animal Crossing as well as Cooking Mama. It depends on my mood really!

13. FAVOURITE VIDEO GAME CHARACTER?

Oh man it has to be Akira/Joker from Persona 5. He’s such and awesome and loveable character. He’s been through shit and still acts normal and not hating the world for what has happened. I love that he hasn’t rebelled or acted like a dick.

Also how can I forget Princess Kenny?! Not a massive video game character, more of a TV show character but fuck it, she was in a game and she was bloody fabulous! 😛

14. WHICH VIDEO GAME CHARACTER DO YOU HATE MOST?

I had to ask Dane for help on this as I couldn’t think of anyone for AGES! The only person either of us could come up with was Geralt of Rivia from The Witcher 3. I just don’t like the sound of his voice and urgh! Dane used to play this LOADS at one point and I hated whenever the character spoke. I can’t say I hate him, but I can’t think of anyone else…

15. WHAT NEW GAME YOU ARE MOST EXCITED FOR?

I can’t think of any games I’m really arsed about right now… Apart from the new Persona dance games that are due out this year in Japan and maybe 2019 in the UK. I know I’m excited for a couple of games but meh they haven’t announced a date for some of them yet so sadly my hype and excitement for them can’t start just yet… Sad times!

16. FAVOURITE VIDEO GAME COMPANY/DEVELOPER?

I’ve always loved everything that Quantic Dream have released, especially Heavy Rain! I know everyone went mad for it but I’d played Fahrenheit beforehand so I was excited for Heavy Rain leading up to its released. I’m excited for Detroit: Become Human but there isn’t a release date yet. WHICH SUCKS!

17. WHAT GAMING SYSTEMS DO YOU CURRENTLY HAVE?

I own many, but my most up to date one is my PlayStation 4. Alongside that I have my SNES, GameCube, PlayStation, PlayStation 2 and a PlayStation 3. I also have various  handhelds including a GameBoy, GameBoy Color, GameBoy Advance, Nintendo DS Lite, Nintendo 2DS and PS Vita.

18. HOW LONG HAVE YOU BEEN GAMING?

Since I can remember! Probably since the age of 5 or 6 when I was first given my SNES and my GameBoy.

19. HOW LONG WAS YOUR LONGEST GAMING SESSION?

Probably 12 hours… If there has been a longer gaming session then fuck knows when it was! When me and Dane first got together we would spend Sunday’s playing Minecraft for as long as possible before either of us went back home. I don’t play games as much as I used to and only tend to for long periods of time is if 1. Dane is away for work and I’m bored and 2. I’m obsessed with a game and Dane is happy doing his own thing for a very long time.

20. WHAT GAME HAVE YOU CLOCKED THE MOST TIME ON?

Definitely Persona 5! I’m currently on something stupid like 200-300 hours of game play! I am on my second play through however and near the end of it… I intend to play it again as well so that I can get all the trophies on it. 😛 I’m pretty cure I have more hours on games such as Heavy Rain and any of the LEGO games I own due to wanting to get to 100% and all the trophies.

So that is The Gamer Tag! I do apologise for talking loads about Persona 5, but I swear that game has kind of changed my life… Gamer wise anyway! I’ve not loved something so much since I discovered Pokemon, lipstick and katsu curry!
