UK Lingerie & Pole Dance Fitness*

If there’s one thing I never really treat myself to as I’ve got older it’s lingerie. Why? I guess I’m just not arsed anymore like I used to be, which I know is sad but meh. I’m boring and old. πŸ˜›

Where I lack in treating myself to nice lingerie, I do pick myself up cute and gorgeous pyjamas as and when I feel like I need another set in my life.

UK Lingerie contacted me recently to ask if I wanted to review some of their products and I jumped at the chance! I’m so anxious when it comes down to buying bras though and as I wasn’t sure about sizes I opted for some pyjamas instead and some active wear.

I’ve recently started pole dance fitness again with one of my best friends and I LOVE it! It’s been so much fun doing it with her and I can’t wait for us to do some hoop fitness too in the future. I was definitely in need of some new active wear though and although I didn’t pick myself a gorgeous bra to review, I did however pick up a good sports bra to try, as well as a t-shirt that was right up my street!

I have a little bit of a routine I like to do when it comes to my pole dance fitness and what clothing I wear during and after I’ve been to a class. The pieces that UK Lingerie sent me fit right into this and I was so excited to start wearing and using them after they arrived. Sadly I couldn’t use the active wear for over two weeks as I was really poorly and therefore pole dance fitness wasn’t on the cards.

Thankfully I’ve FINALLY had the chance to use them a few times at pole dance fitness classes and I’m so excited to get this post written this evening. I really hope you enjoy the post and don’t worry, there’s no pictures me of looking like a total tit on a pole. πŸ˜› That being said, I’m not THAT bad at pole dancing.

You can have a pole dancing Deadpool for now! πŸ˜›

UK Lingerie are (obviously) a UK company which started up almost 3 years ago following the success of their other two companies UK Tights and UK Swimwear. They cater to women of all shapes and sizes, which I think is amazing and they stock all sorts of brands too. They always want their customers to be able to choose from a wide range so they add new products almost daily.

The thing I have to say I love the most about their store is how they’ve laid out their “all about us” section where there are pictures of all of the staff as children. I thought it was such a lovely and different way to introduce your staff.

  • Acai Activewear Spider Back Tee in purple* (link)

I love standing out when it comes to my pole dance fitness classes, not anything super out there but just a little unique. I don’t know why, I guess it just adds more fun to the class. This spider back tee is so awesome and definitely something unique to wear to any fitness session, whether it be a dance class, the gym or even for a run. It reminds me of a t-shirt I used to own years ago with a skull on the back. Also if you have a pretty sports bra on you’ll be able to show off the colour and design of it through the gaps in the spider web. I love the purple shade, it’s such a gorgeous colour, but this does also come in black too. The look and fit of this t-shirt is so comfortable, perfect and true to size. I was going to size up so it was baggy, but I was recommended by UK Lingerie that my actual size would be fine. I’m so glad they did as I do think it would have swamped me, or even be too big as a size up!

  • Shock Absorber Ultimate Purple Run Bra* (link)

I found out this year that my bra size has gone up, which wasn’t at all a shock to me! So I thought I’d get a proper sports bra, one that’s actually in a back and cup size. I’ve only ever bought sports bras in dress sizes, which isn’t too bad. This sports bra is amazing to be honest with you! I feel it has amazing support due to both the fastening hook at the top and at the bottom of the sports bra. I feel really supported and like I’m not going to reveal too much cleavage and definitely not fall out! With my previous sports bra it was uncomfortable, awkward to put on and just didn’t feel like it was doing what it was meant to for the money. This sports bra however is such a Godsend and I love it so much for pole fitness classes. The colour of it is stunning and something different and underneath the spider back tee it works really nicely. I was a tad nervous when I received this that it would be too tight or too small but it fits really good! Honestly I couldn’t feel happier with a sports bra as I do with this one.

  • Blackspace Noir Isabella Long Sleeve PJ Set* (link)

I’m a right saddo, when I get home from work, shopping, seeing friends and family etc and I know I’m not going out of the house again, I’ll get straight into my pyjamas and settle down for the day. The first thing I do after a pole fitness class is have a hot bath to soak my muscles and then get into some lovely fresh pyjamas and get into bed. I LOVE tartan pyjamas and I used to steal Dane’s tartan bottoms all the time when he had a pair. So when I saw these on the website I knew I had to have them to review! I asked for 2/3 sizes bigger than I actually am as I love my pyjamas baggy but I was advised that they might be too big for me, which I understand. So I opted for the 1/2 sizes bigger. The top is so soft to the touch, it actually feels luxurious to wear and it really does feel comforting when I wear it. It’s a lovely size too and is clearly 1/2 sizes too big for me. However, the bottoms don’t feel the same to me and I do wish I could have had them the 2/3 sizes bigger. As I mentioned I love my pyjama bottoms baggy and these aren’t exactly tight, but due to them having no stretch they just feel a bit taught when I’m in bed and sadly due to that I don’t feel comfortable to wear them whilst I sleep so I end up taking them off. This is a tad meh but I do love wearing them around the house, especially on lazy weekends where the most I’ll do is move to change the disk in my PlayStation 4. πŸ˜›

Overall I LOVE the products that UK Lingerie offer and they’re so luxurious and they have some gorgeous lingerie on there. If you’re after something for yourself this Christmas or a partner, I’d definitely go and check out UK Lingerie for some pieces you’ll feel glam and sexy wearing.

Alas, I just feel sweaty and tired whilst wearing mine, which is pretty standard for me. πŸ˜› Excuse me whilst I go Google search what “sexy” means. πŸ˜‰

What do you guys think of the pieces that UK Lingerie sent to me to review? Make sure to let me know in the comments down below!

Until next time, take care all and I hope you’re having a lovely weekend.

27 Facts about Me for My 27th Birthday

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO ME, HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO ME, HAPPY BIRTHDAY DEAR NATALEE, HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO ME!

So as you may have gathered by now it’s my birthday and of course it is today. WOOP! I’m not going to lie I am writing this the day before my actual birthday as I plan to spend tomorrow chilling out… Well today now! I plan to have a lovely day with my family whilst Dane’s at work and then go out with them all for a meal in the evening. Saturday is the day when me and Dane will go on a little adventure together for my birthday. I’ll definitely be writing about that at some point in the week.

BUT for now I wanted to write something about myself for my birthday other than what I’ll be doing… So I came up with sharing 27 facts about me to coincide with my age. This was actually awkward as hell to do as I couldn’t think of a whole lot… But I gave it my best shot and I hope you enjoy this post!

  1. I’m allergic to bananas due to my hay fever allergy, which is mostly affected by tree pollen. If I eat bananas my mouth swells up and gets itchy. It sucks!
  2. As you may not have noticed already I LOVE Pokemon and have done since the first time I played Pokemon Red on my cousins Gameboy Color.
  3. Due to previously working in Costa Coffee I had a lot of training as a barista and officially trained to be one towards the end of my career there. I still use these skills in my current job and it’s a skill I am really proud to have.
  4. My favourite colour is purple and red is a close second due to it being the colour that suits me the most to wear.
  5. Due to how relaxing it is I love cleaning my bathroom and even in previous jobs I rather enjoyed it. I just pop my music on or Netflix/YouTube and get on with it!
  6. I love reading manga over novels, my favourite manga being Nana which I recently finished reading.
  7. I can’t choose one but my top 5 favourite films are Forrest Gump, Precious, Spirited Away, The Green Mile and This Is England.
  8. I love to write and although the past year I have hardly had any interest in writing a novel anymore, I have since then realised that I would instead love to write my own comic book with someone drawing the art for me.
  9. My top 3 favourite animals are foxes, otters and dogs.
  10. I have leguminophobia, which is a phobia of baked beans.
  11. When I order coffee I usually order a flat white with vanilla syrup.
  12. The only make up I wear is lipstick.
  13. The first anime I ever watched was Elfen Lied and it’s still one of my favourites!
  14. I really enjoy making cocktails, especially creamy ones… If that makes sense. πŸ˜›
  15. I’m hoping this year that me and Dane can add an addition to our family… NO NOT A BABY! We want a puppy. We want to get a miniature schnauzer.
  16. One of my favourite shops to buy from right now is Ohayou Clothing.
  17. I love anything Japanese but especially the food! Katsu curry is my favourite, alongside salmon sushi.
  18. I mentioned earlier that I love Pokemon, my favourite Pokemon are Mew, all the Eeveelutions, Cubone and Dragonite.
  19. I’m a console collector and currently own a SNES, PlayStation, PS2, PS3, PS4 and a GameCube. I also collect handheld consoles and currently own a GameBoy, GameBoy Color, GameBoy Advance, Nintendo DS Lite and a Nintendo 2DS.
  20. Jackass is one of my favourite TV shows, followed by This Is England and Teachers.
  21. I have too many baths! I just love them as I find them relaxing after a long hard day.
  22. Three bands I want to see before I die are Daft Punk, Queens of The Stone Age and The Bloodhound Gang.
  23. I want to go to Japan before both me and Dane turn 30.
  24. I collect Black Milk Clothing pieces. So far I have 6 and I love them all!
  25. Both me and Dane also collect Nendoroid figures by Good Smile Company. They’re cute little figures mostly inspired by Japanese characters, but more recently some characters from the west have appeared around too.
  26. I do pole dancing as fitness and have done for quite a long time on and off. Although I am currently not doing it I hope to save up enough money to buy my own pole to use at home.
  27. I’m like a magpie when it comes to anything holographic!

So that was 27 facts about me! As I said I did struggle a little but I hope you all like the facts I decided to share with you all.

Which one was your favourite to find out about? Plus tell me a fact about yourselves in the comments down below!

I’m sure I’ll be sharing what goodies I got for my birthday in a couple of days! I know I’m really excited to share what Dane has bought me as I’m super excited to see what I got.

Until next time take care all and I’m off to enjoy being old. πŸ˜›

The Love/Hate Tag!

I love a good tag post. I find it helps readers get to know the writer of a blog a lot better than most posts will. I recently found this one on Tarnya’s blog sweetallure and I thought it would be nice to give it a go myself! I’m currently lying in bed on my day off, working on my blog, and relaxing. I have YouTube on to keep me company, my Red Raspberry Yankee Candle burning, and a hot cup of Ribena. So I’m prepared!

The Rules:

The tagged person must share a total of 20 things; 10 things they love,Β and 10 things they hate.

They must nominate 10 bloggers to complete the tag.

10 Things that I Love:

  1. Bubble baths. No matter what time of the year or whatever time of day I love bubble baths. They’re warm and comforting, and great if you want to relax and pamper yourself. I mostly use Lush bath bombs and bubble bars in my baths but sometimes I like to change it up and use The Body Shop products, and sometimes just supermarket and drugstore brands. I’ve always loved baths, ever since I was a little girl. I once spent two hours in the bath just playing and being in a world of my own. I don’t do that anymore, but that just goes to show how much I’ve loved them from a young age.
  2. Food. I love food. Seriously if I love anything more it is definitely eating. Bacon, melted cheese, pizza, chicken, ham sandwiches, Marmite on toast, maple and bacon sausages, Yorkshire pudding, Japanese food, oh you name it and I’ll probably love it. As I’ve already said I especially love Japanese food and I love Yo! Sushi for it’s buffet style Japanese cuisine. Katsu curry is my favourite, followed by chicken ramen.
  3. Beatrix Potter. If there has always been one thing I have loved since I was a young age, it has been Beatrix Potter and all the wonderful stories she has written. My favourite is probably The Tale of Johnny Town-Mouse, due to the whole town versus country theme. Of course, my favourite is the country and I can totally relate to Timmy Willie. I recently visited The World of Beatrix Potter in the Lake District and it was amazing! I would love to go again, and I’m sure I will if me and my boyfriend are that way in the future
  4. Duvet days. Seriously who doesn’t love them? I just love staying in bed all snuggled up with something to watch on my iPad, or a game to play. Can’t beat it
  5. Gaming. I’m a nerd, so I love playing games, whether they be console, hand held, or even online games. I’ll play them! I’ve recently 100% completed South Park: The Stick of Truth and I’m currently lusting after Animal Crossing: Happy Home Designer
  6. Anything salted caramel flavoured. I love salted caramel, I know a lot of people do but I loved it before the hype! I know a lot of people who also hate salted caramel due to the thought of it tasting salty, but I really love that. One of my friends bought me some salted caramel chocolates from Thornton’s and they were amazing! I would love some more. I recently picked up a salted caramel hot chocolate powder from Whittard and it is delicious
  7. Pole dancing. My fitness is pole dancing. I used to do it years ago for about a year but had to give up for personal reasons. But since June I have started again and I’m so pleased that I have! I feel fitter for doing it, and it’s just fun to get out of the house and go and have fun doing that for an hour with some of the girls in class. I hope in the near future that I can start going twice a week, and buy my own pole to practice on at home.
  8. Photography. Although I am far from being professional, I love taking pictures especially of animals and nature. I’ve owned my Nikon digital SLR for three years now and it is my pride and joy. I love going to animal parks, and fun places so I can take plenty of pictures.
  9. Foxes. My close friends and family know how much I love foxes and I have a small collection of fox related items in my room now. My mom recently bought me some fox vanilla room air fresheners from Avon, and they are incredibly cute! She’s already seen an umbrella, a draft excluder, and a huge foot slipper that she’s craving to buy for me. I love my mom too! πŸ˜›
  10. Nendoroid figures. Gorgeous and kawaii Japanese figures by Good Smile Company and ones me and my boyfriend collect like crazy, and have done so since Christmas 2014. I bought him his first one for Christmas, which was Mikasa from Attack on Titan, and he bought me my first one for my birthday at the start of the year, which was one of the characters from Penguindrum. Including that one I have two, but my boyfriend has a whopping eight figures and his collection is STILL growing!

10 Things that I Hate:

  1. Rude people. If there is one thing I cannot stand it’s people who are rude for no reason. Hey, if I’ve been rude to you then fair play. But if I’m just being nice and casual, then you have no reason to be that way with me. Due to my experience in customer service, I hate seeing fellow customers be rude to the staff when out and about. I just want to tell them to stop.
  2. Animal abuse. I don’t think I need to explain why. I just hate seeing it on TV shows, and reading about it. People who abuse animals are appalling and disgraceful human beings.
  3. Crap coffee. I love coffee, so when I buy a coffee whilst out and I’m excited to drink it for it to taste awful I feel really sad. Once someone made me a coffee and the coffee machine clearly wasn’t set right, so the coffee was too coarse. I mentioned it to the member of staff and they sorted it for me. The coffee they made me as a replacement was beautiful! I hate coffee like Mellowbirds though. That’s not coffee, that’s just wrong.
  4. Bad drivers. Urgh. Just URGH! I like to think I’m a really good driver, so when someone is a bad driver near me I hate it so much. Little things like not signalling annoys me, and speeding unnecessarily too. It always happens when there isn’t a Police car around.
  5. Fake duplicate items from China. As a Nendoroid figure collector, me and my boyfriend have been victims to buying fake figures. Well, once. Since then we’ve been really careful and researched as much as possible before buying. There were loads of fakes flying around Hyper Japan and it annoyed us. There are also loads of fakes around eBay, but if you know how to shop for the figures, then you can avoid getting fakes. But I just hate it. People charge hundreds for fakes and a lot get away with it.
  6. Food. I love food, yes, but I also hate food. I have a lot of food phobias, and due to some of my allergies I’m also allergic to a lot of fruit. It sucks when it comes to bananas as I love the smell, and I used to love the taste but I can’t eat them due to my allergy. My mouth swells and feels like it’s on fire, which sucks. So I have to avoid banana unless it’s artificial. With my phobias I can’t eat some foods due to texture, or sometimes even smell and look. It’s horrible and it can restrain me from eating a lot, but I hope over the years I can get better, especially when I have my own children.
  7. Selfish people. I’ve dealt with my fair share of selfish people over the years, and only recently got away from them, which I’m happy about. Selfish in the sense you do favours for them, and never get any back. Selfish that you have to do what they want to do, and forget whatever you want to do. Selfish that you’ll help them in dark times, but they won’t help you. I just HATE selfish people and they can all go away!
  8. People who walk their dogs without a lead. There is nothing worse than this. I’ve heard of dogs, cats, and other animals being attacked for no reason by dogs that don’t have a lead on. One of my friends cats recently had to be put to sleep after being badly injured of an attack from a dog that wasn’t on a lead. The only time dogs should be let off a lead is when in a dog friendly park. I’ll never ever do this with my own dogs, it’s just not worth the risk.
  9. Bullies. If there is one thing I hate in this world, it’s a bully. I was bullied terribly throughout school, college, and even at times in university. I don’t know if I just have that face and personality, but I was bullied and over stupid things. It sucked, it depressed me, and I skipped school because of it. Now I’m older if I see anyone going through what I went through and I feel the time is right, I open my mouth. No one did for me, so I will for others.
  10. Fake glasses. As someone who needs to wear glasses I still get annoyed when people wear those cheap, fake glasses from Claire’s to look “hipster” and “cool”. No. It really isn’t cool having to wear glasses. It’s expensive, it sucks needing to wear glasses because you can’t see without them, and it also sucked being bullied for being a “four eyes” at school when it wasn’t even your fault!

Life Lately…

Image taken from weheartit.com

Today I fancied writing something a little different. I had a long weekend this one just gone, and I have to be honest and say I haven’t had such an awesome weekend in quite some time. I got to spend a little bit more time with my boyfriend, I got to see my friend Gabriella before her birthday and give her her presents, I also got to eat yummy Japanese food, go to an amazing party, and nurse a poorly stomach with Dominos in the evening. As well as have lazy days in bed with my boyfriend, playing games, and watching South Park.

Weekends like that are the ones I wish could last forever, even if I got bored eventually. It’s just been awesome spending time with my boyfriend, as well as hanging out with our friends.

The house party we went to on Saturday was amazing, and it’s been about two or three years since I took my tired, danced out arse home when it’s light outside again, and the birds are singing. It was also the first time I played beer pong, which was rather fun. AND I got to be the DJ for a couple of hours, which I really enjoyed too.

My weekend also appeared to be full of animals, dogs to be exact. Me and my boyfriend saw Gabriella’s dog Penny, and then we saw his brother’s and his girlfriends dog Dino on Friday, and then on Saturday we saw our friends dogs Bailey and Lily on Saturday at the party. We love dogs and seeing these guys (well mostly girls) two days in a row was awesome!

I’m really on a South Park kick at the moment, and I honestly don’t know why I didn’t start watching the show from the start sooner. I’m currently on season 6 and it’s just getting funnier, and darker the more I watch it. My favourite character has always been Kenny, but he’s kind of missing in action at the moment, which sucks! But that being said, each season I am falling in love with Cartman more. He’s just such a dark child, and it’s hilarious some of the stuff he comes out with too! “You’re breaking my balls here, sir.” πŸ˜›

Due to diets and such ruling my life, I have been good and haven’t been eating any crap… Number one on this list being pizza. However due to feeling poorly, tired, and crappy on Sunday after a long night of partying, me and my boyfriend decided to be bad and order pizza, and let me tell you it was fucking amazing. Excuse my French, but it was just what we needed. We instantly felt better and since then I have craved more. I had a cheese and tomato (because I’m boring!) but I added sweetcorn, and bacon. It was lovely and just the thought of it is making me drool. Lovely image for all my readers.

Of course I have been meaning to update you guys on how my pole fitness has been going, but I’ve been waiting for the right time to to be honest. Well it’s been going really well, infact better than when I was doing it two/three years ago! I’ve accomplished moves I never thought I could do when I did it previously. One move in particular being the butterfly, which the girl is doing on the image above. It’s a tough move to do, but alas I have now began to do it, which I’m so proud of! I want to try and get some images of me pole dancing soon… But I don’t wish to ask one of the girls in my class, as that’s just incredibly awkward!

I want to finish my post for today by thanking an absolute gem of a person, who is Amy. Someone I met through my boyfriend a couple of times, and someone who also made my night at the party on Saturday when she told me how much she loved my blog, and listed all the reasons why. It really made me feel awesome and a teeny bit famous… That’s sad, but I don’t care! After nattering about my blog for a while she then handed me a cider and black, what a girl! So hello Amy, here’s a shout out for you! πŸ˜€

This is a different post to usual, but I really wanted to just have a natter to all my readers about what is happening with me lately, well all of this weekend anyway. I had an amazing weekend, and I hope this weekend is just as good, as well as the following week when I go away to the Lake District with some friends for the bank holiday Monday. I wonder if I’ll be the DJ again?

I hope you all had an awesome weekend too, and until next time, take care all.

Picking Back up an old Hobby – Pole Dancing

Back in 2012, I used to pole dance… Believe it or not. I loved it too! I lost so much weight from doing it and build up some good muscle too! But alas due to work and personal life, I stopped.

I still think about it to this day and how much I loved it and although at times it was tough, I still carried on and felt so happy when moves I felt impossible to do, became a reality.

So what have I done? I’ve booked a lesson next week! I’m a little nervous because of how my body looks, as well as the pain I will have after. The pain is unbelievable and you feel like you need to learn how to use your arms and legs again. But with two days off work after a class, I’ll be ready in time for work.

It’s Β£6 an hour which I think is great and the more I do it, the better I will be again. I probably won’t be able to do some of the moves I used to be able to, but that will become a reality again.

Image taken from weheartit.com

When I have my own house, I’ll be buying a pole to use every day as a part of my workout. I love pole dancing, it’s a beautiful form of dance, and not a filthy one like most associate it with.

I’ll make sure to let you all know how it goes!

For now, take some YouTube videos! πŸ˜›

Yes boys, men can do it too. πŸ˜‰

What do you think of pole dancing? Sleazy? Or a great way to stay in shape? Let me know in the comments!

Until next time, take care all.

HAPPY NEW YEAR! & New Year’s Resolutions

Image taken from rottenecards.com

With the New Year literally hours away I’m currently on my way to Coventry to my boyfriends. We’ll be going out tonight to celebrate New Year’s at our friends house and I for one am mighty excited for it! I still don’t know what I’ll be wearing yet but I’m sure with a good look around my wardrobe, I’ll find something nice to wear.

As much as I wish to get drunk, I don’t want to worry about a hangover in the morning, so I’ll probably not drink all that much, but after my boyfriend has finished work I may ask if me and him can pop to Tesco to pick up some Pringles and Lucozade for myself just incase, as well as any hangover cures for him!

We’ll be traveling back to Birmingham tomorrow morning/early afternoon to watch Sherlock all day and then watch the new episode for series 3 in the evening. SO DAMN EXCITED!

So with a New Year comes resolutions and although many people don’t bother to make them, I always try to every year. Boy, do I have a lot I want to do this year!

2013 forΒ  me wasn’t a very good year. A lot of shit happened including my Gran dying, my aunt being rushed into hospital, losing my old job, I had to postpone my masters course due to the bank mucking me around with my loan and finally I was diagnosed with anxiety and depression.

BUT where there is bad, there is good too. I met my boyfriend, I started to get help for my anxiety and depression, my aunt made a fast recovery and is now home and well, I soon found a new job and I let go of the most horrible group of friends I ever had and have made a load of new and awesome friends.

So really, whilst a lot of shit happened, a lot of good happened too!

But enough of what did and didn’t happen during 2013, I’m going to make sure 2014 is the year of change for me. I’ll be 24 in 6 days and I have a lot of things I wish to change, as well as do this year, which I thought I would share with you all.

  • Start to learn Japanese.

For the past two or three years I have wanted to learn Japanese but I’ve never really made it a resolution to try and learn it, until now! A couple of my friends know some Japanese and have offered to help me learn and my boyfriend also wishes to learn so we both downloaded a free Japanese language app called Mirai Japanese. As I have an iPhone I know it’s available on the App Store, but I’m unsure if it’s available on the Android Store. Either way it’s free and is an amazing app! As well as this I hope to try and attend some free classes, as well as pick up a book to help me, maybe “Japanese For Idiots” or something along those lines.

No caption necessary as this is MY image. πŸ˜‰

  • Start my own photography business/company.

This year since meeting my boyfriend I’ve done nothing but progress with my photography and have found myself taking a lot of live photography, as well as some nature too. I would like to start off my own photography business, or company. There is a possibility that at first I would do photographs for bands and people for free to get myself out there and at the same time get my portfolio started and then if my photography got more busy and well-known by people, I would start to charge a small fee for photographs. This being said though, I could do with the money and wouldn’t charge people a lot anyway as I’d be new on the scene! This will be more of a hobby and any money I would earn from it would be saved up to go towards my masters course, which I would still like to go and study in the hopefully near future! Keep your eyes peeled for news and a blog post about my future photography business/company! I currently have one name in mind, which I’m really liking the idea of, stay tuned!

  • Learn how to snowboard.

I mentioned in August on my My Goals post that I wanted to learn to snowboard within the year and as of yet, I still haven’t been able to go for my lessons, due to lack of funds. Plus, as the price has gone up during the winter period, I’m going to wait until Spring to go and take the day course to learn how to snowboard in a day. I used to love skateboarding as a teenager but after a scare of possibly breaking my two front teeth, I grew too scared to carry on with it and retired my skateboard. I have my snowboarding pants and gloves, all I need to get now is a jacket, a helmet and some crash pants to help keep my bum protected. My boyfriends been amazing and has said that by April or May if I still can’t afford to pay for my classes, then he will pay for me. Never felt so lucky in all my life! My boyfriend is an amazing snowboarder and I know in his company I would be safe, so I can’t wait to hit (literally!) the snow with him!

  • Take up pole dancing classes again.

I really have missed pole dancing and it’s been over a year now since I was last in a class. I lost weight from pole dancing, as well as it giving me something good to look forward to doing every Tuesday evening. Now I feel more confident to drive I have decided that I will be traveling to where all the classes are held and even if my boyfriend is here during the weekend I have decided I will go for the hour class and he could stay at mine. I hate fitness but with pole dancing it’s so much fun you feel the urge to keep going with it and even if you can’t perform a move you push and push yourself to do it! My best move to pull is actually the one I have posted a picture of above, but I didn’t hold onto the pole with my hands. I really miss being able to do this and I know when I start my classes again, I probably won’t be able to do any of the moves I could once do. At only Β£5 a class, I won’t be breaking the bank by going either!

Any other resolutions I come up with will probably be to stop eating crap food such as chocolate, sweets, crisps etc as well as drive more, although this is on my goals list anyway!

I’m really quite pleased with my four resolutions and I really hope I can keep up with them this year!

So, what resolutions has everyone come up with for the New Year? Or do you not bother with resolutions? Let me know in the comments.

Until next time take care all and I hope you have an amazing New Year! Here’s to 2014.
