October Wish List ’18

As I said a few days ago, how on Earth is it October already?! This year has flown by in a busy haze and I just want time to stop for a little bit. I’m writing this post over the weekend and I honestly can’t believe it’s currently 7.30pm! Where is my precious weekend going?!

What better way than to spend my evening doing blog work and listening to Radio Bam. I don’t mean for that to sound as sarcastic as it probably does. I love writing on my blog, I find it quite relaxing and it takes my mind off of anything that’s on it.

I haven’t really thought much about what items I’ll be talking about on my wish list today, but I worry it won’t be much, or at least anything exciting! Fingers crossed eh?

Well Christmas is around the corner, so I’ll definitely be needing to save monies anyway. ๐Ÿ˜› I hope you enjoy this months wish list anyhoo!

  • Never Take It Off Can I Keep You? Necklace – (link)

I rather like NTIO and have done for years. I’ve even mentioned them on my blog before (which you can read here) and still wear the bracelet I picked up in March. I was having a nose at the Halloween collection and stumbled across this cute ghost necklace! I’d love to get it but the one thing that puts me off is it isn’t real silver, it’s plated. I sound so snobby, but I hate wearing plated jewellery, it turns your skin green! This is definitely something I’ll have to think about getting.

  • Insert Coin Clothing Persona 5 Shujin Academy Varsity Jacket – (link)

I have been pining over this jacket since it came out a couple of months back. I thought I’d mentioned it on my blog before, but alas I haven’t! The reason I haven’t bought it yet is due to the price. It isn’t the cheapest jacket in the world sadly at ยฃ65 and I’ve ummed and ahhed the decision on buying it due to that. As readers will know I went to EGX a couple of weekends back, (which was amazing by the way) which Insert Coin Clothing was also at. Sadly the size I wanted for this jacket was sold out so I couldn’t pick it up. The staff were so lovely and gave me some vouchers so I could pick up the jacket for a cheaper price, which is lovely! I can’t wait to get it for autumn and winter now.

  • Cath Kidston Otters A5 Softback Notepad – (link)

If there is a high street brand I have fallen in love with the past year it’s Cath Kidston. Their items are so adorable and vintage, you can’t go wrong at all. I especially love stuff that’s got cute animals on. I loved their fox collection so much when it was out! When I recently visited one of their stores I discovered they have quite a few cute animal collections out, including their Otters collection! This notebook is adorable and I’d love to have it as my journal for 2019! I have so many notebooks though, that I honestly don’t need anymore!

  • Kingdom Hearts HD 1.5 and 2.5 Remix – (link)

Years ago I picked up this game on the PS3 but considering I don’t use my PS3 as much as my PS4 anymore I’ve not really played it, sad times. The first thing me and my best friend Gabriella did at EGX was go and play Kingdom Hearts 3, which I loved SO DAMN MUCH! I really need to pick this game up soon so I can play it before the new one comes out. I forgot how much I actually enjoyed this series. I don’t know if I’ll buy this just yet as I have so many games coming out for the rest of the year. I might just ask for it for Christmas and play it with Dane. Who knows… We’ll see!

  • Miss Kobayashi’s Dragon Maid: Kanna’s Daily Life Vol. 3 – (link)

After this post I’ll get this preordered as I want this when it comes out. I love reading manga so much and one of my favourites to read is the Miss Kobayashi’s Dragon Maid ones. They’re recently announced that they’ll be releasing a manga series about Elma, one of the dragons and equally one of my favourite dragons! I can’t wait to see what happens to Kanna next, she’s adorable.

  • Joules Lunch Box – (link)

This isn’t anything special and whilst I doubt I need a lunch box for work, I REALLY love the look of this! If anything it would probably encourage me to make sandwiches for work instead of buying them once a week. It’d also be great to take leftover dinner in. ๐Ÿ˜› It’s just adorable and it’s a decent price for Joules too, don’t you think?

So that’s my wish list for this month! What do you guys think to some of the items I’ve added to it? What items do you have on your wish lists this month?

Until next time, take care all and I hope you’re having a lovely week so far.

7 Games I’m Excited For

If there is one thing I would love to write more about on my blog, it’s games and how much I love gaming! I love it just as much as reading manga, watching anime and even writing on my blog! ๐Ÿ˜›

I really want to start writing more about games and I intend to write more about it all from now on, but please bear with me as it might take me a while to these kind of blog posts written.

For now though I will be writing about games I’m excited for in the future. I won’t just be talking about 2018, but I’ll be going into 2019 too as a couple of games I’ll be mentioning here won’t be out until then.

I really hope in advance that you like this post!

  • Marvel’s Spider-Man – Out September 7th 2018 on PlayStation 4

What a way to kick start this list! When this was first announced I was so nostalgic and excited! One of the first games I played fully on my PlayStation was Spider-Man and I loved it so much. Looking back I actually think it was this game that started off my love of superheroes and comic book characters. When E3 showed a trailer for it this year it just made me even more excited for it to come out. This is a game me and Dane have on pre-order already and we cannot wait to play it together. I’m not going to lie, I also wanted the limited edition Spider-Man PS4 that is coming out with the game too, but meh money. The game just looks impressive and I really hope it brings back the nostalgic feels of 10 year old Nat playing the first PlayStation Spider-Man game in her bedroom after school and on weekends.

  • Super Mario Party – Out October 5th 2018 on Nintendo Switch

If there’s a game me and Dane have always loved playing together on both the Nintendo Wii and the 3DS it’s the Super Mario Party games! They’re great for playing on lazy Sunday’s, at parties and just in general when you want to play a game but don’t have a clue what to play exactly. We’ve wanted some more games for the Switch but we’re a bit stumped as to what 2 player games we can get, but now we’ve noticed this is coming out we’ll probably get it around Christmas time!

  • LEGO DC Super-Villains – Out October 19th 2018 on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch

I’m a saddo, I love the LEGO games but who COULDN’T not love the LEGO games to be honest with you?! They’re really chilled to play, funny and great for anyone of any age to play. Since the first LEGO games came out I’ve played the majority of them. Over the years I’ve not bought them as much to play but I love specific ones such as Harry Potter (even though I’m not a massive HP fan!), Star Wars and LOTR’s and The Hobbit. I remember playing the first LEGO Batman game where you could play as both good and bad characters. I loved being able to play as a villain so the fact that we now have a game dedicated to it is pretty awesome! ๐Ÿ˜€ I’ll definitely be pre ordering this sooner rather than later!

  • Spyro Reignited Trilogy – Out November 13th 2018 on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One

I’m not going to lie, as I was starting to write this post yesterday I got an email from where I pre ordered this from letting me know that the release date has been pushed back. I’m gutted but it’s for decent reasons! Toys For Bob have stated that it won’t be perfect for their original release date (21st September 2018) so that’s the reason for pushing it back. I’m still gutted though, I was so excited to play this game on my day off work as well as for that weekend. Meh I guess I’ll just have to wait. It just kind of sucks that it’s out a couple of days before Pokemon Let’s Go Pikachu/Eevee. I can’t play two games at exactly the same time! ๐Ÿ˜› I loved the Spyro games growing up, especially Spyro 2 and I was super excited to play it! Alas I’ve got to wait now until November… Unless I dig out the original and give that a go.

Pokemon: Let's Go! Eevee! + Poke Ball Plus

Image taken from Smythstoys.com

  • Pokemon: Let’s Go, Eevee! & Pokeball Plus – Out November 16th 2018 on Nintendo Switch

This is definitely the game I am most excited about on this list! I remember when the first trailer came out for it and Dane woke me up at 6am to show me the video on his phone! I was pissed off that he woke me up so early, but when I realised what it was for I was ecstatic! I love that there are 2 versions to choose from, but I knew I wanted Eevee. I pre ordered this as soon as I found it at a decent price for both the game and the Pokeball Plus! Smyths is the best place to get it from as you save ยฃ5.00 on your order if you go and collect in store. I’m glad it’s now a new story and really like that they’re following Pokemon Yellow. The thing I think that I love the most is that it’s two player so me and Dane can play the game together! It’s amazing that they brought this into the game and it’s something I’ve wanted the Pokemon games to have for the longest time. I honestly cannot wait to play this with Dane when it comes out! This is a game I’ll be talking about for ages on my blog when it’s out.

  • Persona 5: Dancing In Starlight – Out 4th December 2018 on PlayStation 4

YES THIS FINALLY HAS A RELEASE DATE! Ahem… Apologies… BUT I have been so on edge about when this game is coming out and I didn’t think it was going to be until 2019 to be honest with you. Thankfully it’ll be out before the end of 2018 and I am super happy about that! I loved Persona 5 so much and it’s for sure become one of my favourite game series alongside Pokemon! This is out in Japan now and has been since May (from memory…) which is pretty cool, but it means trying to avoid any of the story etc. I’m currently playing Persona 4: Dancing All Night and so far it’s been more story than game play, which is bleh. I wouldn’t mind story in Persona 5 though! ๐Ÿ˜› This is something I really want to pre order but… I probably shouldn’t. I know this would make an ideal Christmas present for someone who doesn’t know what to buy me, but all the same I WANT IT! ๐Ÿ˜€ We shall see, I’ll soon update you guys on if I’d pre ordered it.

  • Persona Q2: New Cinema Labyrinth – Release date TBC out on Nintendo 3DS

This only recently got announced at the start of August and loads of Persona fans have been excited for it and since it being revealed, the community has gone CRAZY! I’m not going to lie I’m yet to play Persona Q: Shadow Of The Labyrinth and I really want to download it asap to play! I wanted to actually pick up the physical copy of the game to play but it costs too much these days, which in turn sucks. With the Persona 5 babies being in this game I really need to get it to play! As I said in the title, it’s yet to be given a release date here in the UK, but as soon as I find out, I’ll be pre ordering it for sure.

So there are my seven games that I’m actually really excited about coming out! Whilst writing this post I was talking to Dane about which games I was going to add and asked him to give me a hand as I was worried I was forgetting some games. Alas I was and he reminded me of quite a few! He asked me if he could mention a couple of games he’s excited for too, so I said he could to round up this post.

  • Shenmue I & II – Out August 21st 2018 on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One

I played the first Shenmue back on the Dreamcast and it was a groundbreaking game for its time so when I saw it up for pre order on the Xbox One store I ordered it straight away.

  • Battlefield 5 – Out October 19th 2018 on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC

I have always preferred the Dice Battlefield games over the COD series, played BF1 for a short period but got bored after a while. Whilst I am ignoring the historically inaccuracies I am hoping the game play is a return to form.

  • Red Dead Redemption 2 – Out October 29th 2018 on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One

There is very little I need to say about my anticipation for this. Play the first one and watch the trailers, this game will be excellent.

  • Fallout 76 – Out November 14th 2018 on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC

The first multiplayer Fallout game. Count me in.

Thanks to Dane for adding some of the games he’s excited for! I’m equally excited for some of those too, but he’s far more excited than I am. ๐Ÿ˜›

What games are you looking forward to playing? Make sure to let me know in the comments!

Until next time, take care all and I hope you’re having a lovely weekend.

May Favourites ’18

It is already June and we are officially halfway through the year! It’s also one of the most exciting months for me and Dane are celebrate when we bought the house, as well as our anniversary. It’s a big one this year for us, as we’ve been together 5 years and in the house for 2 years. I’m excited for our week off together too, which starts today!

Throughout some of May I was rather quiet on my blog and sadly this was due to my mental health playing up. Blogging wasn’t on my agenda, hell not even reading manga or playing games was either in all honesty. All I did for one week was sleep, I was exhausted. Thankfully I’ve come out of that funk and I’m back to doing what I love! Playing games, reading manga, watching lots of Netflix and of course BLOGGING!

I cannot wait to bring you guys more exciting posts throughout June, as well as the rest of the year! I hope you’re all as excited as I am. For now however, it’s time to talk about my favourites from May.

HAND FOODรขย„ยข MINI

Image taken from Soap & Glory

  • Soap & Glory Sugar Crush Mini Hand Food.

You know when you forget about a product you love? Yeah that was me with this hand cream in May. Iโ€™m a real sucker for hand creams, especially ones that smell amazing and take care of my skin at the same time. As someone who is prone to eczema on their hands, I have to use hand cream all the time to avoid being in pain later. I remember buying the sugar crush hand cream years ago and falling in love with it. I used it all the time but for some reason, I stopped and I’m not quite sure why. I have a feeling I was savouring this in case Soap & Glory discontinued it. I had a look recently on Boots website and thankfully this is still available to buy! Itโ€™s just really helped my hands both at work and at home. I love the sugar crush scent as well by Soap & Glory so to have a hand cream that shares that scent just makes me so happy. I love using it throughout the warmer months, but I also love using it at Christmas as it reminds me of sugar crush gift sets I’ve received. Sadly due to using this hand cream up I don’t have it to photograph, so sadly all you’re getting is a stock photo. ๐Ÿ˜›

  • Lush Santa’s Christmas Shower Cream.

This shower cream is amazing and I wouldn’t have dug it out of my collection so early, but as I picked up two bottles of it I thought I’d have one to use throughout the summer and then one for winter. It smells absolutely amazing, just like cherry cola but with a hint of vanilla too. Due to it being a shower cream it leaves my skin feeling lovely and soft, leaving behind a gorgeous scent! It also lingers in the bathroom for quite some time as well, which is always lovely. Sadly Iโ€™ve had a few issues with this shower cream the past month but I still love it so much! Sadly from using this as both a shower cream and bubble bath/bath cream Iโ€™ve noticed that the red colour of it stains my bath… Urgh! I made a complaint to Lush about it not thinking anything would come from it but thankfully it did! Iโ€™ll write about it properly soon but basically they offered to either refund me and I could send the shower cream back, or they could send me some goodies as an apology, I went for the latter. I’m planning to review this shower cream sometime this month. I know it’s a limited edition Christmas product, but it won’t hurt, will it?

  • L’Oreal Paris Smooth Sugar Clear Kiwi Face and Lip Scrub.

I picked this sugar scrub up quiet a while ago… I’m thinking back in April time and I’ve used it loads since then and I absolutely love it to be honest. You’re meant to use it 3 times a week, but I only use it once as I feel that’s more than enough alongside other beauty products I use. This is just such a great face scrub to use for a gentle, yet effective scrub all over the face as well as on my lips. As well as noticing how soft it left my skin after, it’s also helped clean out my pores and left me with lovely clear and clean skin! I cannot wait to review this sugar scrub on my blog this month! ๐Ÿ˜€

  • Carex Fun Bubblegum Hand Gel.

I picked up this hand gel recently as I wanted a new one to keep on my bedside table. I also picked one up for work but that was in the strawberry scent, which isn’t as nice as the bubblegum scent. This is really light in scent and feels lightweight after applying it to your hands. This is never going to be as good as the Bath & Body Works hand gels but this is pretty damn good nonetheless and they only cost a 99p too. I’ll definitely repurchase this in the future as it’s such an amazing scented hand gel for the price!

  • Victoria’s Secret PINK Happy Holiyay Body Mist.

This is an old body spray, probably from 2 Christmases ago to be honest with you I’ve only just got around to using it after using up OTHER products! I use this pretty much every day before I get dressed. I spray it all over my skin and the scent lasts all day! I just love using this, especially whilst the weather has been warmer and I need something light to wear instead of perfume. I’ll be sad once I’ve used all my VS PINK body mists up, but it just means I can grab something else in the future!

So now my beauty favourites are done, time to talk about the miscellaneous favourites of the month!

13 Reasons Why GIF

Image taken from GIPHY

Favourite TV Show – 13 Reasons Why Season 2 and Evil Genius.

Now I know a lot of people hated on 13 Reasons Why when it came out last year, so those same people if not more will hate on it this year. I LOVE this show so damn much and when I watched season 1 I was going through some shitty and dark places in my life. In theory this show probably didn’t make me feel better, but it made me feel less alone. So when season 2 came out last month I was anxious it would be rubbish. It wasn’t the best in the world, no but it was like seeing old friends again. I really did enjoy season 2 and I cannot believe how it ends! I’m not saying much as I don’t want to reveal spoilers. Let’s put it this way though, if you thought some of the scenes in season 1 were graphic, wait until you see season 2. I felt uncomfortable and that takes a lot for me to feel that way. Be cautious when watching it, especially if scenes from season 1 upset you.

As well as binge watching 13 Reasons Why, me and Dane binge watched Evil Genius in ONE EVENING! One of the girls I worked with was telling me about the documentary and had asked if I’d watched it. It was thanks to her talking to me about it that encouraged me to check it out myself. I LOVE crime documentaries and I’m a complete sucker for them (especially if they’re in the UK!) and from what I had found out about the crime committed in Evil Genius and what it was about, I knew I needed to watch. It’s basically about a crime that occurred back in America in 2003 where I man robbed a bank with a bomb around his neck. From here you find out who that man was, what happened to him, how the bomb came to be around his neck as well as many more. This is all explained in 4 episodes, all an hour each. If you liked Making A Murderer then you will LOVE Evil Genius. I’ve popped the trailer above so you can check it out if you fancy it!

Ryan Reynolds Thats Just Lazy Writing GIF

Image taken from GIPHY

Favourite Film – Deadpool 2.

Come on, which film did you think I was going to talk about this month?! Of course it HAS TO BE DEADPOOL! Oh man I have so much I could say about this film. First of all, it was so much better than I thought it was going to be. I love Deadpool and I love Ryan Reynolds, so when the two merged together a couple of years back and brought us that sickening leaked trailer, I was so happy. Ryan Reynolds was destined to play Deadpool. SO when the second film was announced I was so excited, yet anxious all at the same time. I love Deadpool but I worried a second film may ruin it. Thankfully, good ol’ silver fox Ryan Reynolds did an amazing job yet again and brought to the screens the anti hero everyone loves. The cast was perfect, the acting was great and most of the the comedy had me fucking crying in the cinema. I want to go and watch Deadpool 2 again, but I doubt I will. I just cannot wait for it to come out now so I can watch it at home over and over again!

Snotgirl Volume 1: Green Hair Don't Care by Bryan Lee O'Malley

Image taken from Wordery

Favourite Book – Snotgirl.

I’m ashamed to say that I bought this comic back at the start of 2017 when it first came out and I have only just gotten around to finishing it. I’ve now ordered the second volume already because I am loving this comic book series already! It’s by Bryan O’Malley, the same guy who brought us Scott Pilgrim (which I need to read in the future!) and I discovered it through the YouTuberย NinkComPoop when she was talking about it in one of her videos agggggges ago! I immediately ordered it from Amazon to read and fell in love. I forgot all about the fact I hadn’t actually finished it due to me and Dane moving our comic books around the house. I dug it out over the last bank holiday Monday and finally finished it! It’s about Lottie, a blogger who is out there, doing well and looks good! BUT behind closed doors she suffers with terrible allergies and is snotty due to them. There’s way more to the story than that, but I won’t say anything that gives away the story. I definitely urge you to read it if you’re a blogger and love comic books and manga. The only downside to Snotgirl is well… Lottie herself. She’s a bit of a twat and annoying but meh that’s her character I think. She’s just so pretentious and snobby, very up her own arse blogger, which I hate. That aside, it’s definitely worth reading!

Favourite Song/Album/Artist – Flyleaf and Ariana Grande – No Tears Left To Cry.

Two totally different artists, but that just goes to show the type of music I’m into and how diverse I can be! ๐Ÿ˜› First of all let’s address the Ariana Grande song being here this month and why. Due to the radio being on at work (Heart FM) we listen to a lot of pop music, if I had it my way I would have my rock music on, Bam Radio or even podcasts. Some of the music that comes on catches my fancy and recently No Tears Left To Cry has done just that. At first I hated the lyrics and loved the tune, now I love both! I find myself getting excited when this song plays on the radio as it’s just so damn catchy, upbeat but also relaxing at the same time! I’ve never heard one of Ariana Grande’s songs before until now. Sadly the rest of her music really isn’t for me, but she did good with this one!

NOW onto Flyleaf, one of my favourite bands and a band I’ve been listening to for quite a bit of May! I love how I can go without listening to Flyleaf for months but when I come back to them it’s like seeing an old friend. I love listening to them on my way to work as I just enjoy singing along to the words and thinking about what they are and mean. That sounds soppy as anything, but it’s true! Surely others do this and it isn’t just me?!

Favourite Game – Detroit: Become Human.

If there is a game I have been excited for these past 4-6 years, it’s Detroit: Become Human. I knew I needed to get hold of this game as soon as it came out, if not beforehand via pre order. Sadly I didn’t get to pre order it in time so I didn’t get it on the release date, instead I picked it up the next day and oh man am I glad I waited to pick it up! Due to some Nectar points as well as a Sainsbury’s coupon, I saved ยฃ10 on this game, so instead of ยฃ47, I paid ยฃ37 instead!ย  In all honesty though, at full price this game would have been well worth the money! I’m such a saddo and over the bank holiday Monday, I completed the game in the 3 days! Oh man it is just so good and I cannot wait to replay it already! If you own a PlayStation 4 and have played either Heavy Rain or Beyond Two Souls then you will love Detroit: Become Human, which is by the same people as those two games.

So those were my favourites for May! I’m sure my favourites from June will be just as good. I still cannot believe we’re in June already. 2018 is going by so bloody quickly and whilst it’s great, it’s also so scary that my life is flashing by me.

What were your favourites from May? Make sure to let me know in the comments down below!

Until next time, take care all and have an amazing weekend.

Gamer Confessions Tag

Good afternoon all, I hope you’re well! Wow I don’t usually start blog posts that way but I’m feeling something different today. ๐Ÿ˜›

This post has been scheduled and at this moment in time I’m watching Dirty Sanchez series 2 on Dane’s old (and I mean OLD) MacBook and it’s snowing outside. You wouldn’t think we’re almost at the end of January would you? ๐Ÿ˜›

I found this gamer tag by Michelle over on her blog A Geek Girl’s Guide and with the amount of gaming I do I thought it would be fun to have a go myself!

Image taken from weheartit.com

1. A game everyone loves that you canโ€™t stand

Rocket League. I fucking hate that game and it’s for one reason… I’m really bad at it. Like atrociously bad. I can’t play it for toffee and I’ve tried over and over again and I just can’t get into it whatsoever. It reminds me of football games and they’re always rubbish. ๐Ÿ˜›

2. A game that you love, but no one else seems to

Probably both the DJ Hero games. ๐Ÿ˜› I’ve always been into club music due to my brother being a DJ when I was growing up. I remember buying the first game with the turntable and I played that game nonstop on my PS3 until I completed it. Then when DJ Hero 2 came out I was on it straight away. I’d love to play it again but meh I don’t think I can be arsed. ๐Ÿ˜›

3. An older game you havenโ€™t finished, and probably never will

Tomb Raider 2… Even though I REALLY want to because I loved that game growing up! Someone messed up one of my saves on it and I was beyond gutted. I’d got to about level 7 on there and there’s a point where if she falls she just dies. You can’t grab or fuck all, she just drops to her death. Some arsehole saved the game on that and I was distraught at the time. I went back to it last year to continue but never did. I think I played the first level with Dane and that was about it.

4. A guilty pleasure game

I want to say Minecraft or Sims 4 as they’re both such relaxing games (until you set your Sims house on fire or you’re stuck in a mine with a bunch of creepers!) and you can really get lost in them for hours on end. In all fairness though it’s probably going to be Persona 5 as I can just sit and play it over and over again. ๐Ÿ˜›

5. A game you really love but havenโ€™t played in a long time

Probably one of the Pokemon games or even a Lego game. I loved the Lego The Hobbit game but I haven’t played it for AGES and I would love to, but it’s on my PS3. I wish I could put it on my PS4 to play instead. ๐Ÿ˜ฆ

6. A game you never play seriously but others do

Oh man I don’t know… I never play games seriously to be honest! ๐Ÿ˜› Probably something like Sims 4 and maybe Minecraft too!

7. A game you completed but hated it by the end

Life is Strange: Beyond The Storm. I was interested by the storyline and to find out more about Chloe and Rachel Amber but fuck me by the end of it I was glad it only lasted 3 episodes as they both pissed me off so much. The way they designed Rachel Amber got me the most. A spoilt brat who walks like a man (not that this is a problem it just didn’t suit her whatsoever!) and uses Chloe as much as possible. Then there’s Chloe… Don’t even get me started on Chloe. I was disappointed by the game as I feel they made the girls like that on purpose and if that’s the case they did an amazing job at pissing people off. I just love Max to be honest.

8. A game you thought youโ€™d enjoy, but didnโ€™t

Lego Worlds. Me and Dane were so excited to pick this up as we thought it would be like Minecraft but with Lego. We love the Lego games so why would this be any different? Sadly it was and in that same instance it was awful. It felt more like you had to run around a glitchy world trying to collect as many Lego series as possible. That isn’t what it was advertised to be and due to that it was a massive disappointment.

9. A game you didnโ€™t think was for you, and then loved

Oh man it has to be Persona 5! I had heard nothing but awesome things about it before it came out and I mentioned it time and time again to Dane to see what he thought. He’d say, “I don’t think it’s your thing Nat. It’s like the Final Fantasy games.” and sadly I can’t stand them. I hate the game play so much. So I ummed and ahhed about Persona 5 for ages and the day it came out I went to buy it from Amazon but it was sold out. A week later I found it in my local Argos and picked it up. I fell in love with the story as well as the game play and it has now gone up as one of my favourite games of ALL TIME. ๐Ÿ˜€

10. A game you are still excited for that hasnโ€™t come out yet

I’m already excited for the Persona 5: Dancing Star Night to be perfectly honest! It comes out in Japan in May this year so I don’t know when we’ll get it. If it’s anything like Persona 5 was we’ll probably have it December… I CANNOT WAIT THAT LONG! :O

Another other games I’m excited for though? A Way Out looks like loads of fun and is one me and Dane would get to play together! That comes out late March. I’m SUPER excited for Detroit: Become Human but as of yet it doesn’t have a confirmed release date, which I’m gutted about as I feel like myself and others have been waiting years for this game now. ๐Ÿ˜ฆ

So that is all the questions and my answers for the Gamer Confessions Tag!

If you want to know what Michelle’s answers were I’ll link her Gamer Confessions Tag post here.

If you fancy giving this tag a go THEN GO FOR IT! Make sure to let me know so I can read your answers, as well as letting Michelle know too!

Until next time, take care all and I hope you’re having a lovely day.

October Wish List ’17

Wow as if it’s October! At this point in time it is now less than 100 days until Christmas… Crazy, huh? I’ll have to start my Christmas shopping VERY soon!

As with my September favourites I’m writing this post before I go on holiday and DAYUM IT’S HARD! I don’t actually know what I have on my wish list right now really… I’m sure I can find some goodies to add to this list, eh? ๐Ÿ˜›

EDIT – I soon found stuff that I had forgotten were coming out this month!

  • American Horror Story Collar Dress – ยฃ41.99 (link)

This is a dress I actually wish I had bought before going on holiday, even though I doubt I would have worn it there. I was eyeing up this dress before I’d even started watching AHS due to the cute Wednesday Addams style to it. From what I’ve seen on images and video this dress looks thick and well worth the money! It’s actually a part of the AHS collection that came out exclusively for Hot Topic, but it would seem that EMP have a partnership (of sorts…) with Hot Topic as they both sometimes stock the same stuff. I’ll be buying this when I’m back from holiday for sure! I’ll love wearing it with my Dr Martens boots and my red coat.

  • Miss Kobayashi’s Dragon Maid Vol. 4 Manga – ยฃ7.88 (link)

This is one of my favourite mangas that I have discovered (thanks to the anime, which I love just as much!) and I always wait patiently for a new volume of the manga to come out. The next one has come out so quickly and it almost feels like it’s crept up really… Either way I’ll be ordering this when I’m home from my holiday. I need to really catch up with my manga!

  • JennifairyW Flareon and Vaporeon Charms – ยฃ4.00 each (link) and (link)

After writing my blog post about JennifairyW last month I KNEW I had to add these to my wish list this month. I really want to get at least one of these and I can see me swaying for picking up one each of these two. I’ll probably opt for the Flareon which is sitting down (on the left) and the Vaporeon which is standing up (one on the right). This being said I love both the Vaporeon ones equally! I’ll see how I feel when I’m back from holiday. I may end up leaving some of these as little present ideas for Dane… Christmas is lurking and I know both me and Dane like to get Christmas presents ordered as soon as we can… ๐Ÿ˜›

  • Pokemon Indigo League DVD Box Set – ยฃ39.99 (link)

I know you can watch the Pokemon Indigo League series on Netflix BUT they don’t have all the episodes on there! Well they never when I was watching it anyway… This is a series I have been waiting to buy for years now, so even though I probably won’t pick this up at the end of the month, it’ll definitely be on my Christmas list. ๐Ÿ˜› Who can say no to some 90’s/00’s feels? ๐Ÿ˜€

  • American Horror Story Evan Tank – Currently ยฃ14.99 (link)

I mentioned in my September favourites post a couple of days that me and Dane have recently started binge watching AHS and how much we love it. So far my favourite character is Tate from season 1 and to be honest if I can get a t-shirt with his face on, I will! I doubt I’d wear this out though. It’d be for chilling around the house in. I’m not really someone who suits tank tops to be honest. Unless I bought this in a size that’s a bit too big for me and wear it with leggings… Meh I don’t know! We shall see! ๐Ÿ˜›

  • South Park: The Fracture But Whole – ยฃ44.99 (link)

This is a game that I have been so excited for since it was announced in 2015. I’ve been waiting an anxious 2 years for this game and I’m sure twice they’ve delayed it because Matt Stone and Trey Parker weren’t happy with it. I’m glad they’ve not just released the game to keep fans happy. It looks amazing to be fair and I’ll be getting it on the PS4. I’ll definitely be binge playing this like I have been with Persona 5 (which I should have finished by the time this post goes live…).

I know my wish list this month isn’t anything amazing, but I find that one month I want loads of shit and then another month I don’t. I would have added the Dr Martens from last months post here but I can’t really put them in again! ๐Ÿ˜› After the holiday I doubt I’ll be buying much for a while. I want to try and save some money for Christmas now.

What items do you have on your wish lists right now? Make sure to let me know in the comments!

Until next time, take care all and I hope youโ€™re having a great week so far! I’ll be back in the UK tomorrow… Sad times. ๐Ÿ˜›

August Favourites ’17

YAY SEPTEMBER! Oh my I have been so excited for this month to roll around. Apart from the holiday this is always my month of the year where I try to get a fresh start in order. I’ll try and do a blog post about this before I go on holiday.

This past months favourites has been so hard to do as I really had to have a good think about what products I was loving. Obviously I came up with my 5 items for the month but it wasn’t easy!

  • Australian Bodycare Tea Tree Oil Skin Wash.

This is a shower gel I’ve started using again and I always forget how amazing it is! It’s a massive bottle that my mom gave me not long before me and Dane moved into the house. I stopped using it because I wanted to save it for whenever I fancied using it again. Of course tea tree is antibacterial and due to that I love using this shower gel to help me feel lovely and clean. My anxiety can sometimes make me worry I smell and I’m dirty, even if I’ve just got out of the shower. Bless my mom she recently gave me ANOTHER bottle of this and as you can see from the picture, it’s huge. A 1000ml bottle in fact. So I’ve started using it again. I forgot how refreshing this shower gel is and I love it so damn much!

  • Benefit Gogotint Cheek & Lip Stain (review here).

This was one of my new purchases in July/August and it’s the main lip product I’ve worn throughout the month. It’s so easy to apply and in so many different ways! I love wearing it at work at the moment as it adds a pop of colour in the mornings and I can apply my Vaseline over the top of it without any colour being ruined. This will definitely be worn loads throughout September and especially on holiday. You can read my review to understand more of why it’s on my favourites this month.

  • Lush Snow Fairy Shower Gel.

You know Lush Christmas is looming when I get the Snow Fairy out! I still have a massive 1kg bottle left to break out and use when we’re back from holiday, but for now me and Dane have really been enjoying this one and have used nearly all of it! I forgot how sickly sweet it is and I fucking love it! It’s been a shower gel I’ve used on days off as well as in the bath alongside some of my Lush bubble bars and bath bombs. I’m excited to find out what we’ll be getting for Christmas with Lush!

  • Rimmel London Insta Fix & Matte Powder.

I bought this powder as I needed a new one and this has been everywhere on blogs the past month or two. I’m glad I picked it up as it’s a great powder for the price. All the same however it’s not the best in the world, but it definitely does the job whenever I’m getting ready and popping out. I’ve been using it loads this month and I’m probably going to take it with me on holiday too as it’ll be great to use in the evenings to keep shine away. This doesn’t keep shine away all day, but it will for at least 6 hours.

  • DIOR Addict EDP.

I’ve owned this perfume since I went to Fuerteventura in 2015 and it’s still got loads left in the bottle! I started using this mid August and I actually forgot how much I love the scent. I can’t really describe it to be honest with you. It’s sweet but not a girly, teenage, Britney Spears type scent but more of a mature woman smell. It’s the sort of fragrance that if you will see a business woman wear. ๐Ÿ˜› This is a classic and has been around for over 10 years now.

So now my beauty favourites are done, time to talk about the miscellaneous favourites of the month!

Favourite TV Show – This Is England 86, 88 and 90.

To say I love This Is England is a massive understatement. I don’t know why but recently I felt the need to watch the TV series from the start to finish. I watched all 11 episodes in probably a day if not two and I fell in love all over again. I didn’t watch the film however. I do have a feeling I felt the urge to watch them due to watching Joseph Gilgun in Preacher recently. Which I am still loving from last month by the way! If you’ve never watched the This Is England series then I seriously suggest you do so asap! You’ll love it more than the film, I guarantee. I just love LOL and Woody so damn much. I wish I had them both as friends.

Favourite Film – Swiss Army Man and To The Bone.

I recently watched these two films thanks to both Amazon and Netflix. Me and Dane have wanted to watch Swiss Army Man for ages but we just never got around to it until we saw it recently being advertised on Amazon Prime. It was all that I could imagine it to be and even more, quite honestly it was weird and amazing and I recommend it for everyone to watch! I’ve had to put a trailer above because I’m pretty sure many haven’t even heard of this film before.

I also recently watched To The Bone, which is about a girl dealing with an eating disorder. It reminds me of a John Green novel and I just fell in love with all of the characters. The film ended and I was left wanting to find out more of what happened! I recommend you watch it if you love films, TV shows and books like this. Something to watch out for is if you have or are currently dealing with an eating disorder then this could trigger you, so please be cautious before watching.

Favourite Book – Erm…

I haven’t read anything this month sadly. I don’t know what it is at the moment but I just haven’t really been reading anything, not even manga. I’m kind of waiting to go on holiday to catch up on reading all my manga at the moment. But I can see me just taking two Bridget Jones books to read.

Favourite Song/Album – K-ON! Soundtrack.

Dane recently bought the soundtrack to K-ON! and that’s pretty much most of what we’ve both been listening to and I actually love it! I can’t wait to listen to these songs when we’re on holiday as they’re just some really happy and go lucky feeling songs. The song I’ve added above is one of the last songs the band create together and it’s the last one we hear on the anime too. It’s the girls goodbye song to the youngest member of the band, Azusa. They’re all leaving to go to college and she’s staying at school for her final year. It’s a very sad song but it’s lovely all the same and is definitely my favourite.

Favourite Game – Persona 5… YES IT STILL IS, GET OVER IT! ๐Ÿ˜›

Yes I am STILL playing Persona 5 and I don’t give a fuck! Sadly due to how bad my mental health has been throughout August I haven’t been reading nor have I been playing games and it’s purely because I just haven’t had the patience or thought behind doing either of them. Watching films and TV shows has been fine though.

This being said I have been playing Minecraft with Dane quite a lot lately. We both craved a game we could just chill out and play together and Minecraft was the perfect game for this. We’ve played it loads and I forgot how much I love it. We haven’t played it as much though lately, sadly. I’m sure we will again soon.

So those are my favourites from August! It went by really quickly and a part of me is so pleased. I fucking hated August. It was full of stress for me and mind fucks and I’m really hoping that September will bring better things.

I’ll be writing a blog post about that soon. ๐Ÿ™‚

What were your favourites throughout August? Make sure to let me know in the comments down below!

Until next time, take care all and I hope you had a great month.

July Wish List ’17

Wow we’re not on month seven of the year! Officially over half way through now. Two months left until my holiday and hopefully more hot weather will be upon us too. It’s been gorgeous lately and I don’t want it to end… Well apart from at night when I want to sleep.

Speaking of my holiday I recently wrote a holiday wish list and I hate writing wish lists close together, but this one will be different… It’ll have a bit of everything on it. This being said I am on a spending ban for the holiday. I need to save up monies for it, otherwise I’ll have next to sod all to take with me!

This wish list was actually really hard to put together to be honest as whilst I often say, “OMG I WANT THIS! OMG I WANT THAT!” more often than not it’s not something I want that badly.

I have tried really hard with this list though and I hope you appreciate it. ๐Ÿ˜‰

EDIT: I ended up searching Etsy and Redbubble for some ideas based on Persona 5, so yeah there’s lots of that stuff here! ๐Ÿ˜› FUCK YOU REDBUBBLE! ๐Ÿ˜›

  • Kat Von D Beauty ‘Rock Candy Studded Kiss’ Lipstick Gift Set – ยฃ34.00 (link)

I have been eyeing up this lipstick gift set since it was released in April in America. It’s only recently come out in the UK, exclusively at Debenhams of course. They’re little miniature sizes of the studded kiss lipstick AND they’re limited edition colours. COME ON KAT MAKE THESE PERMANENT SHADES! You get six shades in here and all of them are my types of lip colours! From purples to pinks, there’s a shade in here for every occasion for me. I nearly ordered this last week but left it due to lack of funds. I am so damn tempted to order it though considering it’s limited edition. I think it’s a great price as well, even for miniatures. I’m already planning on at least getting them to take on holiday with me, as these are all the shades I would need, AND THEY’RE SMALL!

  • JennifairyW Cute Chubby Pokemon Espeon Charm – ยฃ4.00 (link)

I’m a massive fan of JennifairyW’s work as it’s just kawaii and cute! I’ve had my eye on all her Eeveelution charms for a while now but if I had to pick one it would be Espeon. I’d keep it on my car keys, maybe even eventually buy all of them to keep on my Pokemon handbag I recently bought (you can check that out here!). Either way check out her Etsy page, because her artwork is so damn adorable!

  • Persona 5 Joker Hardcover Journal by ClearClarity on Redbubble – ยฃ12.00 (link)

I am in love with Persona 5, like so damn much right now and it’s kinda creepy. I mean it’s not a bad thing to love something, but I haven’t fallen in love with something so much since Pokemon. So much so I went in search on Redbubble for some goodies I could get myself in the future. I stumbled across the artist/seller ClearClarity and their Persona 5 character artwork is beautiful and definitely the best I have seen to date. I want to buy EVERYTHING and display it in the house! My favourite character is Joker, who you play in the game. I have a little crush on him too! :’) BUT I wouldn’t mind getting a journal for Fuerteventura, or at least another one to go with my Cath Kidson 101 Dalmatians journal. I’ll definitely be getting this at some point before the holiday.

  • The Body Shop Precision Eye Massager – ยฃ8.00 (link)

I have the twin-ball facial massager by The Body Shop and it’s amazing! Although I bought it a year ago I’ve only recently been using it more than ever. I’ve been using it on my eyes too after using my eye gel to cool my eyes down and de-puff them. NOW The Body Shop has created a tool similar to this but specifically for the eyes, which is great! I want to get it when I get paid as I love using things like this on my eyes, especially with a cooling eye gel. I know Dane likes this too so he can’t complain about me spending my money on it. ๐Ÿ˜›

  • Persona 5 Morgana A-Line Dress by Kaluma on Redbubble – ยฃ45.00 (link)

This is pretty expensive for what it is and whilst I wouldn’t even pay this price for a Black Milk Clothing dress, I do love how unique this dress is and the design. AGAIN it’s Persona 5 related but this time it’s Morgana, the cat sidekick to Joker and the rest of The Phantom Thieves. I love how there’s a little Joker on Morgana’s head, so cute! I doubt I would buy this to be honest due to how expensive it is, but if I had some spare cash and I fancied treating myself, this would be in the cart! This would especially be nice to wear on hot days and holidays with some sandals.

  • Plushishop Pinky & Blue Mew Pokemon Notepads – ยฃ8.13 (link)

I love notebooks, pads and journals so much and I have a small collection of them in the office. Most of them I save for “special” but most I also use to write random notes in for my blog and lists of things me and Dane need to do or buy. I would love one of these notepads to leave in my handbag to jot notes down, especially when I get blog ideas and want to write them down! Out of the four I found the Mew themed one to be the cutest, especially considering the designer also included the blue Mew, how cute! ๐Ÿ˜€

  • Persona 5 Joker Art Print by ClearClarity on Redbubble – ยฃ10.91-ยฃ33.18 (link)

Me and Dane REALLY DON’T NEED anymore art prints for the house, as we can’t even decide where we want the ones we’ve owned for a year! Oh dear… >.< BUT I can’t resist the Joker print that ClearClarity has for sale… And to be perfectly honest I don’t know if I can resist the others either! I would love to get this to put up in the office. I’d love to have it in the living room but I don’t know if me and Dane would be able to mutually agree with that. I’d want to get the small prints and pop them all in one frame to create a sort of collage. We shall see what happens!

So those were my wish list items for July! It was incredibly hard for me to think of anything apart from the Kat Von D lipsticks and The Body Shop eye massager. I’m quite pleased I went and researched Persona 5 items on Redbubble mind, as I have discovered an amazing artist who I’m sure I’ll be buying from soon!

What items do you have on your wish lists this month? Make sure to let me know in the comments.

Until next time take care all and I hope you had a lovely weekend!
