March Wish List ’18

Another month has come and gone and yes, I know February is a short month anyway BUT BLOODY HELL! I can’t believe it is March! I’m excited though for spring this year, which I’ll be writing a blog post about VERY soon! πŸ˜€

This months wish list was very hard to write as at the moment there isn’t really anything I’m wanting for. I’ve made a naughty purchase this month already, which I’m hoping to also write a blog post about soon!

Until then, you’ll just have to deal with my Marsh wish list post! I hope you enjoy. πŸ™‚

  • Honey Punch Oversized Cardigan In Rainbow Stripe – (link)

If any regular readers have been watching my blog since before Christmas you’ll have seen that I was lusting after a duplicate cardigan of the rainbow one from Lazy Oaf. When Lazy Oaf brought out their version it went crazy online and sold out super quick. I was gutted I never got the chance to even contemplate buying one, but for Β£75 HELL TO THE NO. I then went out looking for fakes from China… Which I don’t really want either. On a random search on ASOS I found this awesome one by Honey Punch! It’s distressed on the bottom and oversized. I actually prefer this one to the Lazy Oaf one and it’s half of the price! Sadly it’s currently sold out in the size I am/want so I’ll be waiting for it to come back in stock and as soon as it does, I’ll be ordering! Since starting my office job I LIVE in cardigans now and I’d love to rock a rainbow one to work.

  • Pandora You and Me Ring – (link)

This ring came out as part of the Valentine’s Day collection, which is around the time I noticed it on the website. It’s so gorgeous but at first it did make me wonder if it was an engagement ring… It’s not. πŸ˜› I really, REALLY want this ring but I’m trying to save money right now and just buy things that don’t cost much or things I REALLY want. If that makes sense… Either way I was tempted to pick this up this month as a treat to myself but I’m going to wait. Mine and Dane’s 5th anniversary will be here before I know it and I know he wants to get me a piece of jewellery in the future so we shall see what happens.

  • New Look Tall Red Ditsy Floral Soft Touch Skater Dress – (link)

Okay I probably don’t class as being “tall” (I’m 5’5 so I’m “average”) but I’m finding lately when I buy dresses they can come up short, which is frustrating! I want to start buying tall skirts and dresses if possible and of course if they look good. I would love some new dresses for work as although I’m loving what I have right now, I do want some fresh pieces for the spring and summer months. I love wearing red and this looks gorgeous for the money! I may not get it this month but I’ll keep my eyes peeled on it for the future.

  • Orange: The Complete Collection: 1 Manga (link)

I love manga so every month whenever a new volume comes out of a series I’m reading, I’ll order! But this month I want to pick up something new to read, Orange being one of them! I’ve heard nothing but good things about both the anime and the manga. I would buy both collection 1 and 2 but I want to try and keep being good, so I’ll only order this one for now and get the next one next month.

  • New Look Black Crepe Scuba Pinafore Dress – (link)

Again, another dress for work. I’m really into pinafore dresses at the moment but I haven’t really had a good look for anything right now! I really want one for work to team up with my long sleeved striped t-shirts! I love the look of this one from New Look as it looks so comfortable. I’d team it up with tights and a nice pair of flats for a chilled look. I wouldn’t say no to a thick chunky cardigan too when days are a little on the chilly side!

  • Sass & Belle Lima Llama Trinket Dish (link)

I really NEED a trinket dish for my jewellery at the moment as now I’m wearing it daily it just pretty much sits on my dressing table, which isn’t the nicest way to treat Pandora and Thomas Sabo now, is it? I had my eye on a Pusheen trinket dish last month and recently spied a cute bunny one from Asda, BUT llamas are kind of doing it for me right now… When me and Dane got the house we went out and bought little bits and pieces for the house, one of these being a llama planter. Nearly 2 years later and I STILL haven’t put anything in it. Instead it sits empty of my bedroom shelf. Last month I picked us up a new washing basket, which has llamas all over it! So why not add to this obvious llama themed for upstairs by getting a trinket dish? I just want something to keep my bracelets, necklace and ring on really.

So those are all the items on my wish list this month! I could have included more manga but I’ve already ordered it/plan to now I’m paid!

What items do you have on your wish lists this month? Make sure to let me know in the comments down below!

Until next time, take care all and I hope you’re having a lovely weekend.

February Favourites ’18

It’s now March and we are well and truly having a second winter instead of starting spring! We had snow only a couple of days ago, which pissed me off something rotten. I want longer days now to involve some nicer weather NOT SNOW AND ICE!

Hopefully with March here we will start to have some spring days on their way too now. I’m excited for going on long walks in the evenings after work with Dane, as well as on the weekends.

For now however, it is time for February’s favourites!

  • Lush Supertramp Bubble Bar.

Sadly I don’t have this to show you anymore as it’s alllllllll gone! I love Supertramp bubble bar from Lush, it’s definitely one of my favourite products. I’m not a massive fan of earthy or grassy scents but I adore this! Whenever I use it it really does lift any sort of head cold I may be suffering from. It’s definitely a great bubble bar to use in the colder months and with all the bloody snow we’ve had, this has been such a lovely pampering one to use in the evenings after work. This is an Oxford Street exclusive but you can pick it up on the website which is awesome! I usually buy loads of these whenever I go down to London, but thankfully I won’t have to do this anymore.

  • Romantic Bear WOW Long Lasting Lip Color in Watermelon.

I have been meaning to reviewing these for the longest time, but as of yet I haven’t gotten around to it. I haven’t used any of my lip peeled stains for a while but recently I just fancied giving them a go. I’ve been using various colours, but the shade Watermelon is the one I go to the most. It’s a light blush pink shade which I love wearing for work. I apply lip balm over the top and my lips stay lovely and soft all day! These are really great products for the price too, I can’t wait to finally review them this month!

  • Barry M Under The Sea Nail Paint in Butterflyfish and Jellyfish (review here).

I couldn’t decide between the two but if there’s a nail polish I’ve been wearing loads this past month, it’s these two beauties by Barry M! They’re from the new Under The Sea collection, which I reviewed recently and linked above. They’re gorgeous nail polish shades to bring us into spring… When it FINALLY gets here! I couldn’t decide between the two shades, although I’ve always loved Jellyfish more.

  • Elemis Collagen Cleansing Balm.

This is an old favourite that I come back to time and time again! My mom bought me a new tub for my birthday, which I was really grateful for. I’ve been using it a couple of times a week when I feel like my skin really needs it. My skin has been really bad this past month, which in itself sucks as I constantly look like a spotty teenager! This balm has really helped with soothing my skin when it feels dry, but I definitely don’t feel the need to use it daily. This balm is amazing for removing make up too, apparently. As regular readers will know, I don’t wear a full face of make up so I wouldn’t know. My mom is the one who has told me it’s great at removing make up. πŸ˜›

  • Nivea Cashmere Indulgent Moisture Caring Hand Wash.

We use these hand washes at work and when picking up some new hand wash last month I decided to grab one of the ones we use at work, as well as a couple more of the Nivea hand washes. This is one of the ones I’m using at the moment and it’s amazing! It’s a lovely thick hand wash, well more like a cream really and smells delightful! Usually my hands will flare up with eczema with hand washes towards the end of the packaging, but this one I’ve not had ANY issues with! Savers sell these for a Β£1 each so I definitely recommend them if you fancy giving something new a go.

So now my beauty favourites are done, time to talk about the miscellaneous favourites of the month!

Favourite TV Show – KonoSuba: God’s Blessing on this Wonderful World!

This is an anime that Dane has loved since it first came out and I never understood his love for it until recently! He got me to start watching it with him and it’s a mixture of funny and random as hell! I bought him two of the girls (Megumin who is the red witch character in the gif and Darkness who is wearing yellow in the gif) Nendoroid characters, which he loved! So with finally having most of the characters it was time to watch the anime he loves. It’s just so random and hilarious! Although I’m happy Miss Kobayashi’s Dragon Maid won the anime comedy award at The Anime Awards recently. I do feel like KonoSuba deserved it more.

Favourite Film – A Silent Voice.

I know this isn’t exactly a new film and I know I’ve mentioned it before but I gave this another watch in February and I forgot just how much I loved it. This time I watched it in dubbed and although I prefer the subbed version, it was still lovely to watch. I just forgot how much I loved the story, as well as the manga which fast became one of my favourite manga series to date! If you haven’t watched this and you want to, DO IT! You won’t regret it! Word of warning, it’s not the most delightful and merry of anime in the world and it can be incredibly depressing. It made me cry at the end when I watched it recently… Oh what a weed I am. πŸ˜›

Miss Kobayashi's Dragon Maid: Kanna's Daily Life Vol. 1 by Coolkyoushinja and Mitsuhiro Kimura

Favourite Book – Miss Kobayashi’s Dragon Maid: Kanna’s Daily Life Vol. 1

I picked up a couple of new manga books in February but only read them as the end of the month was drawing to a close! If there is a manga series (and anime) that I have fallen in love with since 2017 it’s Miss Kobayashi’s Dragon Maid! It’s so adorable, funny and kind of cringey all at the same time, but that’s why I love it so much. This new spin off series about Kanna, the youngest dragon is ADORABLE and if I do say so myself, drawn so much better than the original! I already can’t wait for volume 2 to come out in June, which I already know will be here before I know it.

Favourite Song/Album – Keane Hopes and Fears and The Killers Hot Fuss.

These are two albums I listened to quite a bit throughout February and I think it’s mostly due to the fact I fancied a blast from the past. These were two bands I listened to growing up and these two albums were my life at one point. They both came out in 2004 which less than a month apart from one another and I remember buying them with my pocket money from Sainsbury’s after school. I mostly listened to these on my drive to and from work and there would be tracks coming on that I found myself saying, “Holy shit! I forgot this song even existed!” but finding myself remembering the lyrics as I sang along. Let me also add that I had the BIGGEST crush on Brandon Flowers growing up and it was thanks to Smile Like Your Mean It where my crush on him began, as well as for guyliner. OH and of course it was the song that introduced me to the band. πŸ˜›

Favourite Game – Erm…

So I haven’t really been playing any games recently. Not for any reason in particular either other than I can’t be arsed… I’ve probably played the odd game with Dane or a couple of mobile games but nothing to write home about, sadly. I know we both want to get a couple of new games this month so I’m pretty sure my March favourites will have a game in there! πŸ˜›

So those were my favourites from February! I can’t believe we’re already into March and here’s fingers crossed for no more snow and more sunshine.

What were your favourites from last month? Make sure to let me know in the comments down below!

Until next time, take care all and I hope you’re having a lovely week.

10 Things You Can Do When Your Friends Are Your Neighbours

High Five Pokemon GIF

Image taken from GIPHY

This is sort of a random blog post to write and have up on my blog this evening, BUT yesterday sparked some inspiration for me and I thought it would end up being an awesome post to do.

Two of our friends may be moving by me and Dane in the future and when we saw them yesterday it was just so exciting talking about all the things we could do if we become neighbours. I thought it would be interesting to talk about all the things we came up with here! I mean, it’s not everyday you get the chance to get new neighbours who are also some of your closest and best friends. πŸ˜›

1. You will always have someone close by who you know and trust, which is always a lovely feeling. I mean if I run out of milk or eggs I know where I can go to “borrow” some. πŸ˜›

2. If you want to go to each others homes for drinks and games evenings you won’t have to worry about being the designated driver, staying over until a certain time or sleeping over. You could just head over whenever and stumble back home as and when you’re ready!

3. You can go for runs together in the local park! Or even go on Pokemon GO gaming days together, especially with spring and summer coming.

4. If you want to go on holiday but worry about leaving the house, you’ll have your lovely friends nearby to keep their eye on the house for you. You could even leave a spare key with them in case you’re halfway through the holiday and realise you’ve left the heating on and it needs to come off to save some monies.

5. You can have cinema nights together at home, cook dinner for one another or even a takeaway.

6. This year we all said how we wanted to start having game evenings once a month, but living near one another we could even do a games evening once a week, maybe once a fortnight. It would be so much fun and like I said before, if you wanted to have some drinks you wouldn’t have to worry about driving home. You’d only have to walk back to your own bed. πŸ˜›

7. Evenings in the local are always an option, especially as the summer is upon us and all you need to do is drop a text saying, “Hey wanna walk to the pub later?”

8. Like the holiday one, if you have any pets and want to go on holiday you won’t have to worry about putting it into a pet board or having family look after your pets. Your friends may even be more than happy to look after your pet(s) for a while! I know me and Dane would if our friends owned a dog. πŸ˜›

9. In the summer if the weather is gorgeous and you want a BBQ, you can always ask your friends if they want one too and one of you could host a BBQ and games evening, or maybe a film or new TV show you both want to binge watch.

10. Last point being, your friends live right by you and it’s awesome quite frankly! You have so much stuff you could do and yeahhhh you won’t want to hang out with them constantly, but to chill out with them and just have the pleasure of knowing they’re not far away is awesome. I hope it happens quite honestly!

I know this was a really random post and it’s probably crap too, but as I said I had a spur of inspiration to write it and thought if I didn’t I’d regret it!

Would you love to have your friends as neighbours? If so what would you do together? Make sure to let me know in the comments!

Until next time, take care all and I hope you’ve had a lovely weekend.

The Gamer Tag

Oh man I love a good tag post to take part in and I’ve seen a couple of game related ones floating around lately! I’m not as big a gamer as I used to be, but even so I LOVE gaming on my own, as well as with Dane and our friends.

When I saw that Eleanor had done The Gamer Tag, I thought I would give it a go myself!

Like she did, I tag anyone who reads this post and wants to give it a go.

I hope you like and can relate to my answers!

I actually cannot remember and to be honest I’m 1. Too lazy to go and find out and 2. I don’t want randomers adding me. πŸ˜›

I like both but I’ve always been a console gal! πŸ˜›

PlayStation 4, but considering I have an Xbox One and a Nintendo 2DS, the possibilities are endless! But if there’s a game I really want and it’s on PS4, I’ll get a game for that.

I prefer my 2DS to my PS Vita as I find there’s more choice, but I feel like I can do that little more on my PS Vita… AKA watch Crunchyroll. πŸ˜›

Gamepad for sure! I always get flustered using a keyboard.

Depends on the game really… I love my single player games for obvious reasons, but I love playing with my friends too on multiplayer! I’d love for Persona 5 to be multiplayer so I could play with Dane.

It was probably Pop’n Twinbee on the SNES. I still own that console as well as all the games I had handed down to me from my older brother and it’s safe to say, I still love it!

Mmm… I thought long and hard about this for all of a minute and it’s definitely Rocket League! I cannot play it for toffee and I just hate it purely for how much I struggle to play it. I’ve played it with friends and just ended up rage quitting. I chase after the ball constantly and do fuck all with it. URGH!!!

The SNES! One of my older brothers bought himself a PlayStation so I had this donated to me. Years ago he asked my dad if he could have it back. Erm, no. πŸ˜› I still love it so much and play it once in a blue moon.

Persona GIF

Image taken from Giphy

Oh man it used to be Pokemon but I think it’s been pushed off by Persona 5 recently! I don’t know, it might just be a toss up between the two. I’m a bit let down by Pokemon with Sun and Moon. They’re so different, easy to play and just boring and lame. I’m also sick and tired of them adding more and more Pokemon to the games… Only for them to be shite and pointless items! I don’t mind when it adds to stuff that works, AKA the Alohan forms as well as Eeveelutions, but I’m sick of Pokemon such as a bunch of keys or an ice cream. Come on guys, sort it out!

Persona 5 for sure! I’m still on my second play through and trying to make it 100%! I’m also playing Persona 4: Golden at the same time… Which reminds me, I need to continue playing it! πŸ˜›

I don’t know to be honest… I’m really loving JRPGs (Japanese role playing games) at the moment and I want to get more! I love games where I can relax whilst I play them too, such as Sims 4, Animal Crossing as well as Cooking Mama. It depends on my mood really!

Power Princess GIF

Image taken from Giphy

Oh man it has to be Akira/Joker from Persona 5. He’s such and awesome and loveable character. He’s been through shit and still acts normal and not hating the world for what has happened. I love that he hasn’t rebelled or acted like a dick.

Also how can I forget Princess Kenny?! Not a massive video game character, more of a TV show character but fuck it, she was in a game and she was bloody fabulous! πŸ˜›

I had to ask Dane for help on this as I couldn’t think of anyone for AGES! The only person either of us could come up with was Geralt of Rivia from The Witcher 3. I just don’t like the sound of his voice and urgh! Dane used to play this LOADS at one point and I hated whenever the character spoke. I can’t say I hate him, but I can’t think of anyone else…

I can’t think of any games I’m really arsed about right now… Apart from the new Persona dance games that are due out this year in Japan and maybe 2019 in the UK. I know I’m excited for a couple of games but meh they haven’t announced a date for some of them yet so sadly my hype and excitement for them can’t start just yet… Sad times!

Black And White Animation GIF

Image taken from Giphy

I’ve always loved everything that Quantic Dream have released, especially Heavy Rain! I know everyone went mad for it but I’d played Fahrenheit beforehand so I was excited for Heavy Rain leading up to its released. I’m excited for Detroit: Become Human but there isn’t a release date yet. WHICH SUCKS!

I own many, but my most up to date one is my PlayStation 4. Alongside that I have my SNES, GameCube, PlayStation, PlayStation 2 and a PlayStation 3. I also have variousΒ  handhelds including a GameBoy, GameBoy Color, GameBoy Advance, Nintendo DS Lite, Nintendo 2DS and PS Vita.

Since I can remember! Probably since the age of 5 or 6 when I was first given my SNES and my GameBoy.

Probably 12 hours… If there has been a longer gaming session then fuck knows when it was! When me and Dane first got together we would spend Sunday’s playing Minecraft for as long as possible before either of us went back home. I don’t play games as much as I used to and only tend to for long periods of time is if 1. Dane is away for work and I’m bored and 2. I’m obsessed with a game and Dane is happy doing his own thing for a very long time.

Definitely Persona 5! I’m currently on something stupid like 200-300 hours of game play! I am on my second play through however and near the end of it… I intend to play it again as well so that I can get all the trophies on it. πŸ˜› I’m pretty cure I have more hours on games such as Heavy Rain and any of the LEGO games I own due to wanting to get to 100% and all the trophies.

So that is The Gamer Tag! I do apologise for talking loads about Persona 5, but I swear that game has kind of changed my life… Gamer wise anyway! I’ve not loved something so much since I discovered Pokemon, lipstick and katsu curry!

Will you be giving The Gamer Tag a go if you’re a blogger? Make sure to link me to your answers and posts down below or over at my Twitter handle (@maybeecoffee).

Until next time, take care all and I hope you’re having a lovely week!

February Wish List ’18

I can’t believe we’re already into month 2 of 2018! To be honest I’m not going to complain as January sucked! For the first couple of weeks of January I was poorly with various different things and in the end me and Dane pretty much worked out that I had the Aussie flu that was going around, which of course sucked! I booked 4 and a half days off work for my birthday and not only was I poorly for the whole of it, but Dane was also away for work so I was on my own. YUCK!

ANYWAY enough of me moaning, this wish list is one I was rather excited to do as there’s loads of awesome bits and pieces on it, however I am so stuck for money lately and especially since my car has recently been MOT’d and taxed! But my little red bug is my baby and I must take care of it, because let’s face it, it takes care of me 5 days a week. πŸ˜›

Random but I decided recently that I will no longer be showing the prices of items on wish lists. The reason for this being is that the price changes CONSTANTLY! Especially on websites such as Wordery, which I have featured twice on this post with the manga books. Of course I will continue to leave links for items so you’ll soon find out how much items are for yourself. I will still be talking about what a “bargain” something is or if it’s expensive. So you’ll get an idea from that alone.

So, let’s not delay anymore, on with the wish list!

  • A Polar Bear In Love Vol. 2 – (link)

As regular readers will know for my birthday at the start of January I received A Polar bear In Love Vol. 1 from Dane (you can see what else I got for my birthday here) and I read it within a few days as I was so excited to! I now really want to get Vol. 2 which is released at the end of this month. I can’t wait to see what happens next in the story as it’s just so damn cute! πŸ˜€

  • Pusheen Trinket Tray – (link)

I’ve wanted this cute little trinket tray for a while now but every time I contemplated buying it I changed my mind due to monies and that I didn’t exactly need it at the time. NOW however I really do need it as I want something to keep my jewellery in, such as the new ring I received for my birthday, my watch and my Thomas Sabo bracelet.

  • Kimi No Na Wa/Your Name Bracelet – (link)

For my birthday in the evening me and Dane ate Japanese food and watched this film. After watching it I had a nose on eBay to see what merchandise is around from the film and I found this bracelet which is what Taki wears in the film. I’d love to have something like this from the film and I’d wear it all the time and for just Β£3.99 it wouldn’t break the bank to buy either. I’ll see if I fancy getting it throughout the month.

  • Pusheen Door Mat – (link)

Me and Dane decided recently that we need another door mat, but this one would be for inside by the back door. I want something nice to match up to our awesome Deadpool one by the front door! I’ve had my eye on this one for a while and now it’s available to buy from Truffle Shuffle I really want to get my hands on it as soon as possible. I’m pretty sure we’ll be picking this up when we can.

  • Barry M Cosmetics Under The Sea Nail Paint – (link)

Barry M are really on it lately with their releases and it includes some of their newer products they released at the end of January! I’ll be mentioned two here but this is one of them which is a mermaid inspired nail paint collection called Under The Sea. In the collection there are four shades Angelfish (pearlescent orange/nude), Jellyfish (purple/green), Butterflyfish (blue/pink) and Pinktail (pink/orange). Jellyfish and Butterflyfish are the two shades I’m after as I find they’re the prettiest and most aquatic/mermaid looking. I love wearing nail polish these days thanks to work so I’m always after getting pretty polishes to wear now! Barry M are really good with their nails paints so I’ll definitely be giving these a go.

  • Persona 5 Morgana Nendoroid – (link)

If there is one Nendoroid I REALLY want right now, it’s Morgana from Persona 5! I was actually hoping Dane would have bought me him for my birthday but most websites in the UK who sell Nendoroid’s don’t actually have him until this month so… I recently shopped with Gamersheek and this is who I’ll be hopefully buying Morgana from them this month as I have a 10% discount code too! I just need him in my collection, especially being a huge Persona 5 fan! πŸ˜€

  • Miss Kobayashi’s Dragon Maid: Kanna’s Daily Life Vol. 1 – (link)

This was actually a manga Dane had ordered me for my birthday but the website stopped selling it and cancelled his order. NOW it’s back on the website I’ll be ordering it this month to read at some point. I love reading Miss Kobayash’s Dragon Maid and I’m currently all caught up until Vol. 6 comes out in May, so I may as well read Kanna’s Daily Life next. ^_^

  • Barry M Cosmetics Holographic Lip Topper – (link)

Alongside Barry M’s Under The Sea nail paints they’re also bringing out these lip toppers which I’d also love to try! I keep lusting after the Lime Crime lip toppers but they’re expensive to be honest with you and if the Barry M ones do practically the same job then win win! I definitely want the blue and the pink shades.

  • Chamilia Disney Lady and The Tramp Charms – (link) and (link)

When I saw these advertised about on Instagram I was SO HAPPY! I have been waiting for Lady and The Tramp charms for way too long and at Β£35.00 each they’re a bargain too! Apparently you can put these on Pandora bracelets but to be honest with you I’d fancy picking up a Chamilia bracelet for a change from Pandora. They sell Star Wars charms which is AMAZING! πŸ˜€ I’m going to keep my eye on picking these up when I have spare cash.

So there’s my wish list for this month! I’m still saving money or paying for other things so I’ll be watching my money again this month and only buying things I actually need or REALLY want.

What items do you have on your wish lists this month? Make sure to let me know in the comments down below!

Until next time, take care all and hope you’re having a lovely weekend!

January Favourites ’18

We are well and truly into 2018 now and I can’t believe how fast January came and went! It was a bit of a crappy month to be honest considering I was poorly for 2 weeks of it. It started with a stomach bug, then sinusitis, then a cold/flu and finally what seemed to be like a urine infection. URGH. Just crappy and I’m so glad to be into a new month now.

With a new month comes my monthly posts, yay! I love doing my monthly posts as I feel it’s a great to wrap up the previous one and get ready for the next.

I’m going to continue what I did in 2017 with writing about both my beauty and my lifestyle favourites. If there’s any monthly favourites topics you’d like to hear about as well, make sure to let me know.

Now, on with the favourites!

  • Britney Spears Midnight Fantasy EDP.

I fancied wearing this on my birthday as it’s one of my favourite scents and since then I’ve worn it pretty much every day throughout January! I always forget how much I love it and it’s fruity scent. It reminds me of dark berries although it contains black cherry and plum. It’s gorgeous though and I’m pretty sure this was meant to be a limited edition scent originally, so the fact it’s still around 10 years later is amazing!

  • Carmex Lip Balm in Sugar Plum.

I have been after this since before Christmas and when me and Dane were in town for my birthday I FINALLY FOUND IT! Was so pleased as well to be honest as I’d wanted it for the longest time and it was always sold out. This is such a gorgeous scent/flavour and it’s definitely my favourite now to be honest with you. I like to use it around the house and I sometimes have it with me when I’m at work. I wish I had bought a couple of these now just to have another one for when the first runs out. As far as I know this is limited edition but a part of me hopes they make it permanent edition! πŸ˜€

  • L’Oreal Paris Pure Clay Face Mask in Detox (review here).

Sadly I don’t have this included in the picture above as it ran out and I threw it away… Sad times! I’ve been using this face mask loads throughout January and it’s really helped my skinΒ  out whilst I’ve been poorly too as I felt so greasy and my skin felt so congested. I love the L’Oreal masks so much and would really like to try more of them! If you’re after a really deep cleaning and affordable clay mask, then I recommend picking this up!

  • Winky Lux Green Flower Balm.

This is one of the gifts that Dane’s brother and his girlfriend bought for me (you can see what else I got for Christmas here too) and since getting it I’ve done nothing but use it! It’s a lip balm with PH tint which gifts a nice subtle pink colour. I keep this in my handbag now for on the go whenever I want to apply a nice lip colour. It has the balm with it too so it feels really comfortable to wear all day long. I definitely recommend picking up one of these if you can as they’re so lovely.

  • Radox Men Muscle Therapy Bath Soak.

I know this is for men but I LOVE this bath soak so damn much! With how poorly and achey I’ve been lately this has really helped my muscles. It also smells gorgeous as well and reminds me of my Dad due to the masculine scent. I always pick this up whenever me and Dane got for a shop as it’s just a staple to have after a long day when your body needs a really good pick me up.

So now my beauty favourites are done, time to talk about the miscellaneous favourites of the month!

I was SO excited for season 4 of Black Mirror to come out and me and Dane binge watched it before New Year. We loved it and I don’t know which episode was my favourite… Probably the last one to be honest as it was just perfect! If you’ve never watch any of the Black Mirror episodes then please get on it as it’s such an amazing show and it’s so smart too. Every episode will blow your mind and make you think about the present, as well as the future!

The other TV show I enjoyed thoroughly throughout January is a new anime series for Winter called How To Keep A Mummy and let me tell you, it’s by far one of the cutest fucking things I’ve seen for a very, VERY long time! It’s about high schooler Sora who is sent a little mummy called Mii-kun by his father who is travelling. The series focuses on how the two adapt a warm and loving friendship and how Mii-kun adapts to other people as well as outside of the house. It’s on Crunchyroll at the moment and if you love all things cute, then you will love this anime. I already want ALL THE MERCH as well as the manga. πŸ˜›

Favourite Film – Kimi No Na Wa/Your Name.

I think this will just be my favourite film of the month due to the fact it’s the one me and Dane watched together on my birthday. We snuggled up with takeaway Japanese food on our cuddle chair and when we were finished with food wrapped up under our blanket and finished watching the film. It was a lovely end to a great day and that film will just remind me of summer evenings when we went to watch it at the cinema and my birthday when we watched it together.

Favourite Book – A Polar Bear In Love.

If there is a manga I have been really excited to buy and read since A Silent Voice it’s definitely A Polar Bear In Love! I heard about it from YouTuber akidearest (who you can watch here) when she mentioned it in one of her favourites videos. I straight away researched about it and found out that it was available to buy in the UK! Dane bought it me for my birthday and not long after getting it I’d finished reading it! I can’t wait for Vol. 2 to come out this month now!

Favourite Song/Album – Various Songs.

There’s loads of songs I’ve heard lately that I really like and I can’t pick one artist or one song etc because there’s just so many I like for various reasons, so I’ve added 3 here that I really like at the moment.

I’ve been hearing loads of Charlie Puth at work on the radio and this is the first song I heard by him and I couldn’t help but fall in love with it. He’s got a lovely singing voice and it’s really not my sort of music but it’s just a nice chilled song to listen to. ALSO I love the bass line in the song too and would love to learn how to play it myself.

I heard this song thanks to YouTuber heyitsfeiii (you can check her out here) when she put it on one of her vlog videos recently. I searched ages for it and when I finally found it I was listening to it for a while. It’s the sort of song you’d use on a YouTube video to show off fashion pieces or even for a snowboarding type video. I love it though!

Finally we have a song I found through some random videos on Facebook and it’s such a lovely song and one I’ll definitely love listening to in the summer months! It’s definitely a song I could imagine putting onto a snowboarding video.

Favourite Game – Persona 5.

I’m not sorry that this game keeps appearing here… I’m really not! I spent the start of 2018 playing this game again and as sad as it sounds, all because I want to 100% the game and get all the trophies! I love this game so damn much and as soon as I’ve completed this I will FINALLY move onto Persona 4: Golden and you won’t have to hear about this game anymore… πŸ˜›

So those are ALL my favourites from January! What’s your favourites from last month? Make sure to let me know in the comments down below!

Until next time, take care all and I hope you’re having a great week so far.

Gamer Confessions Tag

Good afternoon all, I hope you’re well! Wow I don’t usually start blog posts that way but I’m feeling something different today. πŸ˜›

This post has been scheduled and at this moment in time I’m watching Dirty Sanchez series 2 on Dane’s old (and I mean OLD) MacBook and it’s snowing outside. You wouldn’t think we’re almost at the end of January would you? πŸ˜›

I found this gamer tag by Michelle over on her blog A Geek Girl’s Guide and with the amount of gaming I do I thought it would be fun to have a go myself!

1. A game everyone loves that you can’t stand

Rocket League. I fucking hate that game and it’s for one reason… I’m really bad at it. Like atrociously bad. I can’t play it for toffee and I’ve tried over and over again and I just can’t get into it whatsoever. It reminds me of football games and they’re always rubbish. πŸ˜›

2. A game that you love, but no one else seems to

Probably both the DJ Hero games. πŸ˜› I’ve always been into club music due to my brother being a DJ when I was growing up. I remember buying the first game with the turntable and I played that game nonstop on my PS3 until I completed it. Then when DJ Hero 2 came out I was on it straight away. I’d love to play it again but meh I don’t think I can be arsed. πŸ˜›

3. An older game you haven’t finished, and probably never will

Tomb Raider 2… Even though I REALLY want to because I loved that game growing up! Someone messed up one of my saves on it and I was beyond gutted. I’d got to about level 7 on there and there’s a point where if she falls she just dies. You can’t grab or fuck all, she just drops to her death. Some arsehole saved the game on that and I was distraught at the time. I went back to it last year to continue but never did. I think I played the first level with Dane and that was about it.

4. A guilty pleasure game

I want to say Minecraft or Sims 4 as they’re both such relaxing games (until you set your Sims house on fire or you’re stuck in a mine with a bunch of creepers!) and you can really get lost in them for hours on end. In all fairness though it’s probably going to be Persona 5 as I can just sit and play it over and over again. πŸ˜›

5. A game you really love but haven’t played in a long time

Probably one of the Pokemon games or even a Lego game. I loved the Lego The Hobbit game but I haven’t played it for AGES and I would love to, but it’s on my PS3. I wish I could put it on my PS4 to play instead. 😦

6. A game you never play seriously but others do

Oh man I don’t know… I never play games seriously to be honest! πŸ˜› Probably something like Sims 4 and maybe Minecraft too!

7. A game you completed but hated it by the end

Life is Strange: Beyond The Storm. I was interested by the storyline and to find out more about Chloe and Rachel Amber but fuck me by the end of it I was glad it only lasted 3 episodes as they both pissed me off so much. The way they designed Rachel Amber got me the most. A spoilt brat who walks like a man (not that this is a problem it just didn’t suit her whatsoever!) and uses Chloe as much as possible. Then there’s Chloe… Don’t even get me started on Chloe. I was disappointed by the game as I feel they made the girls like that on purpose and if that’s the case they did an amazing job at pissing people off. I just love Max to be honest.

8. A game you thought you’d enjoy, but didn’t

Lego Worlds. Me and Dane were so excited to pick this up as we thought it would be like Minecraft but with Lego. We love the Lego games so why would this be any different? Sadly it was and in that same instance it was awful. It felt more like you had to run around a glitchy world trying to collect as many Lego series as possible. That isn’t what it was advertised to be and due to that it was a massive disappointment.

9. A game you didn’t think was for you, and then loved

Oh man it has to be Persona 5! I had heard nothing but awesome things about it before it came out and I mentioned it time and time again to Dane to see what he thought. He’d say, “I don’t think it’s your thing Nat. It’s like the Final Fantasy games.” and sadly I can’t stand them. I hate the game play so much. So I ummed and ahhed about Persona 5 for ages and the day it came out I went to buy it from Amazon but it was sold out. A week later I found it in my local Argos and picked it up. I fell in love with the story as well as the game play and it has now gone up as one of my favourite games of ALL TIME. πŸ˜€

10. A game you are still excited for that hasn’t come out yet

I’m already excited for the Persona 5: Dancing Star Night to be perfectly honest! It comes out in Japan in May this year so I don’t know when we’ll get it. If it’s anything like Persona 5 was we’ll probably have it December… I CANNOT WAIT THAT LONG! :O

Another other games I’m excited for though? A Way Out looks like loads of fun and is one me and Dane would get to play together! That comes out late March. I’m SUPER excited for Detroit: Become Human but as of yet it doesn’t have a confirmed release date, which I’m gutted about as I feel like myself and others have been waiting years for this game now. 😦

So that is all the questions and my answers for the Gamer Confessions Tag!

If you want to know what Michelle’s answers were I’ll link her Gamer Confessions Tag post here.

If you fancy giving this tag a go THEN GO FOR IT! Make sure to let me know so I can read your answers, as well as letting Michelle know too!

Until next time, take care all and I hope you’re having a lovely day.
