May Favourites โ€˜21

I honestly can’t believe it’s going to be June in just a few days time… It’s really crazy how quickly 2021 is flying by and I don’t know how I feel about it. ๐Ÿ˜›

The start of June is going to be hella busy with me, with both mine and Dane’s eight year anniversary, as well as our five year anniversary in our home too! Alongside that my best friend is getting married, which is really exciting! I honestly can’t wait for it.

Aside from that I’m not 100% sure what else June is going to bring… Hopefully some better weather to be honest! I’m always a spring and autumn girl for the cooler weather, but it would be nice to have some decent weather so both me and Dane can go into the garden to do it up, have a BBQ and more. Plus, I have some pretty dresses that need to be worn and right now it’s too miserable and cold to do that. ๐Ÿ˜›

June is also the month that I need to go on a serious spending ban as I’ve spent quite a lot of money lately and yeah… I bought myself some cool accessories for my desk, as well as LOADS of Pokemon Nendoroid figures too! I would share some of these later on in this post but I’m contemplating having a post for it because… Why not! ๐Ÿ˜€ My new desk accessories are too kawaii not to share on their own.

Hint – they’re Razer x Sanrio themed… ๐Ÿ˜‰

May I finally add how gutted I am that I won’t be seeing My Chemical Romance in June… It’s been postponed until May 2022 now… I’m happy to wait but, I am gutted. ๐Ÿ˜ฆ

Anyhoo on a lighter note – let’s get on with this months favourites!

Beauty.

  • SBC Propolis Shampoo – (link).

This is a shampoo I started using a good couple of weeks ago now and I LOVE it! It’s one my mom gave to me as she bought one too many and as we’re both fans of SBC, she thought I’d love it. Well, she wasn’t wrong. ๐Ÿ˜› This shampoo smells like honey, both in the bottle, whilst using and after drying your hair too. It lathers up really nice and a little bit goes a long way, which is always good for my hair considering how much there is of it. It leaves my hair feeling soft to the touch, thick and without any frizz. It’s honestly been a bit of a gamechanger to my hair care and after it’s finished, I think I’ll buy it again! It’s actually a shampoo for scalp care and personally I have found my scalp isn’t as dry as it has been in the past, which is always good!

Soโ€ฆ Now itโ€™s time to talk about the miscellaneous favourites of the month! If there isnโ€™t anything Iโ€™ve done Iโ€™m not going to mention.

Favourite TV Shows โ€“ย Taskmaster andย Line of Duty.

This month instead of a movie AND a TV show, I’ll be talking about two TV shows, as quite frankly me and Dane have been addicted to both of these in May and I know we’ll be obsessed about them in June too! We’ve been binge watching both of these TV shows recently and have fallen in love with them! Not going to lie, Line of Duty hasn’t been continued recently as we’ve been binge watching Taskmaster.

Line of Duty finished it’s sixth series recently and I decided that I wanted to watch the show from the beginning. I know loads of people who watch and love it and as I had nothing to watch I thought, why not? Dane started watching it with me too and we’ve both become hooked on the show. We’re currently on series four and DAMN so much has happened leading up to the episode and series we’re currently on. The show is about AC 12, a group of anti-corruption police with Steve, Kate and their boss Superintendent Hastings being the main characters. We follow them as they investigate “bent coppers” and sit on the edge of our seats as they do so. The show is amazing and I’ve been recommending everyone I know to watch it. As I said, we do need to continue watching it. You can watch for free on BBC iPlayer.

As I mentioned before, we’ve also been binge watching Taskmaster. I remember being told years ago when it first started to watch it and how funny it was. At the time it didn’t appeal to me and I thought it sounded crap, oh how wrong I was. We’re currently on series five of the show and hoping to get through the rest of the series before my free two week All 4+ subscription runs out. ๐Ÿ˜› It’s such a good show to put on whilst we’re chilling out together, especially whilst eating dinner, doing work in the office, in the morning before work, etc. I highly recommend Taskmaster if you want something new to watch and want a laugh at the same time. A funny story to share, we went for a food shop over the weekend and we both occasionally commented on items used in challenges and how we would use them and such. Such geeks, right? ๐Ÿ˜›

Favourite Music – Tremonti – “Take You with Me” and Boston Manor – “Liquid”.

These two songs have popped up on my YouTube Music playlist this month and you know when you hear a song again and you forgot just how much you loved it? Yep, that. ๐Ÿ˜› I have quite a few Tremonti and Boston Manor songs on my playlist and I often love hearing them come on and have a good sing, especially if they come on whilst I’m driving. I don’t really know what to say about these, aside from check them out and see what you think! Tremonti are heavy metal and Boston Manor are rock.

Miitopia | Nintendo Switch | Games | Nintendo

Image taken from Nintendo UK

Favourite Game – Miitopia.

Miitopiaย is a game that came out back in 2017 on the 3DS and it’s one both me and Dane owned and played to death! Now we play our Switch’s, we don’t touch our 2DS handhelds anymore, so when Nintendo announced thatย Miitopiaย would be coming out on the Switch I decided to order a copy for both me and Dane so we could play it all over again! The Switch version has some additional features, including better customisation for characters, as well as being able to have a horse in your party, which is pretty cool. I’ve been playing it none stop the past week as it’s such an easy and laid back game to play. To describe the game – a bad guy turns up and starts stealing people’s faces. You need to travel the land, fighting the creatures who have people’s faces. It’s a laid back and fun game and it’s one I thoroughly enjoy. There is a demo of this you can get from the Nintendo eShop but I highly recommend if you’re in the UK and want to purchase a copy, get it from Gamersheek! They have the best prices around. ๐Ÿ™‚

Quite a few of my favourite things…

Animal Crossing and friends!

If there is one thing I have loved doing in May, it’s travelling to my friends islands on Animal Crossing to have island tours, meeting their villagers and exchange goodies! I especially love that my friend Sarah (Raiin Monkey) has finally got her own island to decorate and make her own. I went on a long tour recently and we took so many cute pictures, including the one above! This photo with her favourite villager Lily is PERFECT and I just had to show it off to you guys! If you love Animal Crossing content then make sure to go and check out my friend Sarah, she has an Animal Crossing Instagram account – acnh_kireishima.

Cross stitch.

If there is one thing I recently rediscovered it’s cross stitch. My mom got me into it from a young age and on and off over the years it’s a hobby I’ve done. I feel though since COVID I’ve done more cross stitching more than ever, especially the past month. I’d finished my Cookie cross stitch kit last month and had decided to buy some more in April/May, these being Lucky and Bones. Bones is almost finished and as soon as he’s finished, I’ll be working on Lucky. Then when Lucky is finished I’ll be ordering Cherry, Goldie and Shep. These Animal Crossing cross stitch kits are from DIY Crossing, who creates and makes some AMAZING Animal Crossing goods. Make sure to go and check them out if you’re interested. ๐Ÿ™‚

Commissions.

If there is one thing I like getting, it’s commissions. Not only do you support a small artist/business owner but you’re getting something unique and hella cute out of it! I commissioned quite a lot of of people in May and I have ZERO REGRETS!

First commission – Claire Likes To Doodle. Claire recently opened up for people to commission her to draw her original character design Bernard to be cosplaying/dressed up as whatever you want! I decided to go for a Bernard dressed as an Eevee and holding a sign advertising my Twitch channel! It’s so cute and adorable. I have it on my Twitch, as well as on the right hand side of my blog, which you may have already seen as you read this post. ๐Ÿ˜› I’ve spoken about Claire and her amazing store on my blog in the past which you can read here and here.

Second commission – mellencrossing. I’d noticed Mel’s work around Instagram and fell in love. The style of her work was so cute and the variety was even cuter! Mel does various styles including full body and a plushie villager, full body and two plushie villagers and two full bodies which is what I went for! The turn around was super quick and Mel was really easy to work with. I told her I wanted me and Cookie playing Switch’s together and for Cookie to be wearing the dreamy sweater. I also sent a photo of me wearing my Bee and Puppycat dress. Mel sent me the commission once it was finished and asked if I wanted to make any changes. I altered Cookie’s mouth from the usual smile to a massive smile. I love the commission so much and plan to print it off to pop above my desk. I’m planning on getting another one or two commissions from her in the future, but instead full body of me with two plushies instead. The one thing I want to mention is how fair Mel’s prices are for how amazing her work is. ๐Ÿ™‚

Third commission – lunaquete. Finally I’ll be talking about Leony and her ADORABLE Animal Crossing designs. Leony is quite well known in the Animal Crossing community for her Pantone x Animal Crossing artwork and it’s also how I discovered her. I decided to commission her to draw me a Twitter header with my blog name on, as well as some of my favourite villagers including, Lucky, Marshal, Cookie, Eunice and Bones. It’s such a pretty commission and like Mel’s commission, I’m planning on printing this off to pop on the wall above my desk! I highly recommend checking out Leony’s work if you love Animal Crossing. If/when I hit affiliate on Twitch, I’m contemplating commissioning her to draw me some emoticons. ๐Ÿ™‚

Cookie amigurumi.

I HAVE BEEN SO EXCITED TO SHARE THIS CUTIE!!! Back at the start of 2021 I discovered cotswoldscrochet through Instagram and when I found out she was going to open her commission slots for amigurumi, I was ON IT as soon as I could! As Cookie is my favourite villager, I decided to get a huge Cookie amigurumi made to display with my Pokemon plushies. Harriet was amazing when it came down to making Cookie, she asked me loads of questions of what I wanted and how I wanted her to be, showed me the colour of the wool before starting her and more. Harriet faced a few issues when it came to creating Cookie’s head as this was her first dog villager and more. I was happy to wait though for Harriet to work on Cookie a little more to get her perfect for me. Harriet was amazing and finally a couple of weeks ago Cookie arrived and she’s now comfortably at home with my Pokemon plushies. ๐Ÿ™‚ I’ll be writing a HUGE review about cotswoldscrochet in June, so make sure to keep eyes peeled for that! Harriet’s commissions are closed but you can check out her Etsy store.

Homemade enamel pin hoops.

I need to add here in case anyone asks – NONE OF THE PINS ON MY ENAMEL HOOPS ARE FOR SALE. IF YOU ASK YOUR COMMENT WILL BE DELETED.

I decided in May that I was going to make my own enamel pin hoops. I’d wanted to buy some for a while but to be honest, the prices people charge for them on Etsy are a JOKE. I saw someone asking ยฃ10+ for one that was smaller than the ones I made. For two twelve inch hoops and two different types of fabric I spent ยฃ16. The amount of fabric I bought could make 8 twelve inch hoops too… Anyhoo! I decided to make my own as it seemed reasonable (price wise) and fun to do. I picked up the pin hoops and fabric from Hobbycraft whilst going bridesmaid shopping with my best friend and her bridesmaids. Making these was pretty simple and it took me max about an hour to do including popping the fabric into the hoops, cutting down to size and using a glue gun to stick the stray fabric to the hoop itself… I hope this makes sense. ๐Ÿ˜›

I decided to have one enamel pin hoop dedicated to all the Quirkory enamel pins I own currently. As and when I get more they’ll be added to the hoop. I would happily buy another hoop to create a second Quirkory hoop too! If you like the look of Quirkory’s designs, make sure to use my unique discount code on their Etsy store to snag yourself 10% off your order – “TMBQUIRKORY”. Also make sure to check our their currently Kickstarter campaign about Souls Of Nature. I’ve backed for some enamel pins and one of the deskmats.

I also decided to have a pin flag dedicated to all my Pokemon enamel pins. Aside from Quirkory, Pokemon designs take up the majority of my collection, with Animal Crossing and Ghibli hardly having any, which surprised me! I have more Pokemon enamel pins coming in the future after I backed Nyanzilla’s Eeveelution Kickstarter… I’ll be showing those off when they arrive. ๐Ÿ˜› If you’re wondering who any of the enamel pins are by on this hoop, please ask.

Razer x Sanrio Characters mouse and keyboard.

Finally I want to show off something that arrived for bank holiday weekend! I recently ordered the Razer x Sanrio Characters mouse and keyboard from YY Kawaii and I HAVE NO REGRETS. As regular readers will know, back in March/April Dane decided to buy me my own desk for both working from home, as well as for my streaming on Twitch, playing games and working on my blog work. I wanted to have my desk be as cute as possible, so I decided to order the Razer x Sanrio goodies. You cannot get any cuter than this! Over the bank holiday

I’ve been using the mouse mostly (using at the moment!) which is perfect! It also came with the mouse mat seen in the photo which is adorable. It makes me so happy to look at. The design on the mouse is so sweet and not too OTT which is always good. I’ve also been using the keyboard on and off but I’ll be honest, it’s so fucking loud. I knew it would be due to the type of switches inside but yeah… I didn’t think it would be THAT loud. I’ve bought some stuff to try and help quieten the noise down a little. Aside from that, the keyboard is just as cute as the mouse and I cannot wait to use it more in the future for writing blog posts and maybe for work too.

What do you guys think of this months favourites? May has honestly flown by and I seriously can’t believe it’s June already. I know the first couple of weeks of June are going to fly by, which saddens me.

I’m just excited for June. I feel like I’m starting to sort of get back to normal. We’ve visited some friends, sat in the house with my parents to have a roast dinner, planning to go the cinema and planning to go for food and drinks. I can’t wait for the world to get more and more back to “normal” as the year goes on.

What were your favourites from May? Make sure to let me know in the comments. ๐Ÿ™‚

Until next time all, I hope you enjoy the rest of your bank holiday as well as the gorgeous weather!

July Favourites ’19

It’s August and only one more month now until my favourite of the year, September. I’m shocked at how quickly 2019 is going by, as well as the fact I have now been in my new (well not so much new anymore!) job for 4 months now. It’s flown, I still feel like I’ve only been here for five minutes.

Either way, summer is officially here and we had some glorious sunny days in July. It was amazing and me and Dane even got the BBQ out after work one of the days! I’m rather excited for this month and what it holds as I feel there will be plenty more BBQ days and pub garden evenings to be spent. ๐Ÿ˜›

July also brought along some blogger events in Birmingham, which I haven’t done/attended for YEARS! So I was really happy for that. I hope I am able to attend more Birmingham blog events in the future. This month I hope to be attending a couple of Coventry Blogger events too, so keep eyes peeled for that.

For now though, I’m back (even if it’s 2 days late!) to talk about my monthly favourites! ๐Ÿ˜€

  • SBC Honey & Almond Bath & Shower Creme.

This is something my mom recently gifted to me, as she’d bought it in a set and due to the size worried she may not get around to using it alongside her other SBC shower creme. This is amazing and I honestly love it so much right now! I use it daily and I’ve noticed a dramatic difference to my skin. It doesn’t feel or look dry and tight, but looks and feels softer. Not baby soft, but definitely softer. It smells amazing too! I honestly cannot get enough of it right now! It reminds me of times away in Fuerteventura as I often use honey scented shower gels and cremes whilst I’m there. This bottle will last me ages! I plan to try it as a bath creme next month when the cooler weather is upon us.

  • Cath Kidston Hand Cream.

I didn’t realise I had SO MANY of these little hand creams from my advent calendar from Christmas time. I found about three in one of my drawers recently and decided to take them all to work to use up. I actually forgot how amazing this hand cream is and when all of my hand creams are used up and gone, I plan to stick with Cath Kidston in the future. The hand creams are rich and a little bit of it goes a long way. The scent isn’tย reallyย my thing as it’s very “old lady” scented. I love my fruity and unique smells when it comes to perfume. However, I can live with it if it helps my eczema along the way, which I have recently noticed is rearing it’s dry, ugly head.

  • MUA Pro Base Soothe & Cool Primer Stick.

This has been so perfect during July due to the warm weather. I usually only apply this under my eyes as I tend to find if I apply it all over my face it has a tendency of making me feel oilier and that’s not something I wish to be! However, I did use it all over my face on lazy days off work to try and cool down my face a little. Alongside powder it works okay, but on its own it’s so much better for me. I do love this primer stick, but whether or not I’ll repurchase it, is another story.

  • Barry M Unicorn Primer Drops (review here).

I wrote a review about these primer drops towards the end of 2018 and you know what? I wasn’t very kind to these primer drops at all! If anything, I feel like I need to review these because I’ve changed my mind dramatically since then in so many different ways. I love these, they’re my go to these days whenever I wear a primer and whenever I go to buy a new one too. They just always do me good and never let me down. They leave my face feeling cooled, soft and plump looking, with a bit of shimmer to brighten the skin. I also use these on my lips to soften them too, as it works really well before product, even if it’s just a bit of lip balm. Would you guys like me to re review these in the future? Let me know in the comments!

  • Taya Copaiba Resin Volumising Shampoo.

This is something else my mom kindly gifted me recently and it’s such a gorgeous shampoo. My mom is honestly the best when it comes down to beauty and I always go to her for suggestions on new brands and products to try and use. She gave me this as she’d given it a go and wasn’t sure if it was for her. Well, it’s definitely for me! This really does leave my hair feeling and looking healthy, shiny and thicker! Not that my hair needs to be any thicker… ๐Ÿ˜› It smells gorgeous too and has a lovely honey smell to it, which works perfectly alongside the SBC shower creme mentioned here too. A little of this goes a long way, which is great because my hair always craves ALL the shampoo when it comes to cleaning it!

So now my beauty favourites are done, time to talk about the miscellaneous favourites of the month!

Favourite TV Show – Strangers Things 3 and Orange Is the New Black.

Fuck me, Netflix brought out the big guns in July and they did bloody good too! Not one, but TWO new seasons of shows that made Netflix what it is today, sadly with one leaving us for good. Me and Dane both made sure to bingeย Stranger Things 3ย before any spoilers leaked out and ruined it for us. I honestly LOVED season 3 as I found it brought back the action of the whole gang that we missed out on in season 2. Season 2 was okay but it was meh at the same time. It focused too much on Eleven for my liking and this whole rebellion she seemed to go on. Season 3 definitely covered more of what was happening with the town and the shit that was about to hit (I totally rhymed on purpose)! I’m not saying too much due to spoilers, but it was amazing and I nearly cried at the end.

Orange Is the New Blackย is over. Like so over, that we need a new word for it (Sex & The City quote right there :P). I LOVED Orange Is the New Blackย so much and I’m glad it’s a season I invested time into because it’s been worth it. This season went too quickly and the end was shocking, so much so I don’t feel like the show has come to an end due to it. There’s no happy endings all around and there’s moments where you can’t believe it’s happened or happening for that matter. I can’t say much without spoiling. The one thing I will say is, Piper is her usual annoying as fuck self! I honestly hope the real Piper isn’t that annoying in real life… That’s the only good thing about the show coming to an end, no more annoying Piper. ๐Ÿ˜› OH and who the hell calls their kid Piper?! Just me who thinks that, or?..

Spider-Man Far From Home GIF by Spider-Man

Image taken from GIPHY

Favourite Movie – Spider-Man: Far From Home.

This film was amazing. Absolutely amazing. I was on the edge of my seat throughout and stayed well until the end to see what was happening next! If you didn’t stay until the end then shame on you! ๐Ÿ˜› Without saying too much (because apparently this IS spoilers) I LOVEDย Jake Gyllenhaal as Mysterion. He was one of my favourite baddies back in the day as a kid of spending my every waking moment playing the original Spider-Man PlayStation game. The movie overall with Mysterion’s scenes were done so well and I also loved the story of Peter Parker wanting to be a normal teenager, but needing to be Spider-Man at the same time. It was great and I definitely enjoyed it more than the first film.

Favourite Book – Persona 4

Although I picked up the Elfen Lied omnibus in June – I didn’t actually get around to reading it in July… Which I am really pissed off about. It’s my favourite manga of all time (to date) and I don’t seem to want to read it again… Yet. To be honest, I will probably just prioritise series I need to catch up on and then start on Elfen Lied. So, as I had an Amazon discount code recently, I decided to pick up some more volumes forย Persona 4, two in total (volumes 2 and 3). I haven’t finished the game, but I am loving and enjoying reading the manga. I feel like the story of P5 and P4 are both completely different and due to that I enjoy them both so damn much. I really do need to finish playing the game though…

Favourite Music – Litany 4 Track EP.

This is an EP I adore and I wish it had more tracks due to that. This is the song that introduced me to the band, which you may recognise from the Extra gum advert from TV… Where the zombie girl and the guy kiss. Yes, that advert. This song is just so chill and perfect for those summer vibes, as is the rest of the album. I recommend you go and check out Litany if you fancy something new to listen to! I recommend “Bedroom” which I have linked about and “Work It Out”, which isn’t on the 4 track EP.

Monopoly GIF

Image taken from GIPHY

Favourite Game – Pokemon Edition Monopoly.

Completely random game for me to mention here this month but me and Dane recently had a little game date night in and we played this. It was actually really fun to play and we had a laugh during it, for a change! Monopoly can take forever (which this did) and be boring towards the end due to that reason. This was just fun. I find if you play Monopoly with the right people you can have an amazing time. Especially when it’s Pokemon themed too. ๐Ÿ˜›

So those are my favourites from July! I cannot believe how quickly the month flew by, it’s pretty crazy to be honest.

How was July for you guys? What were your favourites of the month, both beauty and in general. Make sure to let me know in the comments below.

Until next time all, take care and I hope you have a lovely weekend upon you all!

September Favourites ’18

I say this every month but honestly where is this year going and how is it already October?! I’m so excited for autumn and winter though, because as much as I love the warmer weather, I hate it in the UK! People just don’t know how to deal with it, including myself. I never have any decent summer clothes for the UK either and I was baking at work and home. URGH!

September really did fly by and I honestly do not know where the month went. Well to be fair I had a week off work so that fly by, which is always the way it works! ๐Ÿ˜› That is definitely my last bit of holiday until April now. ๐Ÿ˜›

So with a busy month, I have SO MANY FAVOURITES TO SHARE! I sometimes struggle to be honest with you, but not this month. ๐Ÿ˜› I hope you like this months favourites post anyhoo!

  • SBC Collagen Bath & Shower Creme.

This was a shower creme my mom recently gave to me. She loves SBC and when I lived at home I used to use the brand quite a lot. Since moving out a few years ago I’ve not touched it since, not until she recently gave me this MASSIVE bottle of collagen bath and shower creme! I use this daily now and it only takes a little bit of this and it goes such a long way. It smells floral yet sweet, I can’t quite put my finger on the scent but I really do like it, it’s different. This makes my skin feel so moisturised and fresh after use. I really do love it and so happy my mom gave it to me.

  • Barry M All in One Nail Paint.

This has been one of my favourite base and top coats for years, YEARS! My old bottle of this went out of date and was unusable, which sucks. I finally remembered to pick up a new bottle and this helped my nail polishes last SO DAMN LONG, which in turn made me so happy. I’ve been struggling to get my polishes to last longer than a day but thanks to using this it’s caused them to last just under a week. I love it and I don’t think I’ll use my nail polishes without it ever again.

  • The Body Shop Coconut Bubble Bar (review here).

If there is a new bath product I love to the moon and back, it’s definitely the coconut bubble bar from The Body Shop. I feel like I’ve spoken loads about The Body Shop on my blog lately and I do apologise for that, but meh I love the brand so much and it’s thanks to me rediscovering it that has helped me start to look after my skin properly once again. These bubble bars are a real treat but I’ve used them quite a few times throughout September. It’s just made me realise how excited I am for the colder weather and coming home to a nice hot bath after a long day. I really hope The Body Shop release some limited edition scents for Christmas! I’ve linked it where the name of the product is, but I recently reviewed this, so you can check it out.

  • Barry M Molten Metal Celestial Silver Nail Paint.

When I picked up the Barry M all in one nail paint I picked up a few other bits and pieces too. It turned out I qualified for a 3 for 2 offer so I quickly ran back to the Barry M stand and picked up this gorgeous nail paint! This is part of the molten metal collection, which I own a couple of nail paints from already (you can check out the review for the holographic one here) and they’re pretty awesome. I’d seen pictures of this shade on Instagram and it is so damn pretty! I wore it during my week off work and it was so lovely to wear. I got so many compliments on it. I really need to paint my nails with it again, as well as review it. ๐Ÿ˜›

  • Carex Unicorn Magic Hand Wash.

I picked this up at the start of September as I found it in Savers. I remember hearing about this scent from Carex for AGES but could never find it anywhere! So when I found both the hand wash and the shower and bath I picked a couple of each up. I was going to mention the shower and bath but I feel like the hand wash has been used so much more. It’s such a lovely scent, which is of palma violets! I’ve never been a massive fan of the sweets, but I do really like the scent. I don’t know if this hand wash is drying my skin out of not, as I’ve always been hit and miss with Carex hand washes. I don’t care though, I love it so damn much and it’s going to be a part of my bathroom from now on!

So now my beauty favourites are done, time to talk about the miscellaneous favourites of the month!

Favourite TV Show – American Horror Story Season 7 Cult.

Before and during our week off I made sure that me and Dane finished catching up on American Horror Story. I would have mentioned season 6 too, but that was such a bag of shit I couldn’t even believe people enjoyed it. Season 7 which is Cult was AMAZING though and I loved it so much! I loved Evan Peter’s character, even if he was a psycho! I also loved his sister Winter too and especially loved what she wore throughout the show. It was just a great season, even if it was a little bat shit crazy… But which season of AHS ISN’T bat shit crazy? ๐Ÿ˜› I need to start watching the new season as it’s currently airing, but it’s trying to find it to be honest.

Favourite Film – Christoper Robin.

Oh man I was so happy to have a date evening with Dane and this film was definitely that. I cried so many times throughout this and as soon as it comes out on DVD and Bluray I’ll be picking it up! It was such a lovely film and definitely one that I thought was made for adults over children. Pooh was adorable and definitely one of my favourite characters alongside Eeyore. The humour was just so dry and hilarious all at the same time! If I wasn’t crying, I was laughing. At one point I was sad for Pooh and turned to Dane to say, “Oh poor Pooh” and my voice broke as I said it was I was trying not to cry. It was hilarious! If you haven’t seen this film yet and get the chance to, honestly go and see it.

Favourite Book – Himouto! Umaru-Chan.

New month, new manga to read! I’ve not read loads of this, but enough for me to mention it here this month. I LOVED the anime so as soon as I found out the manga was FINALLY coming out in the UK I decided to order both volume 1 and 2 so I could read it. There are so many volumes coming out over a short period of time too which is pretty awesome and I love it! It’s a pretty cool manga and what you’d expect if you’ve watched the anime. It’s definitely made me chuckle when I’ve read it before going to work.

Favourite Song/Artist/Album – Myth & Roid – Voracity.

Me and Dane discovered this song thanks to the anime Overlord and we love it so damn much! We listen to it almost daily and it’s so damn catchy. I can’t remember where we were or what we were doing but I kept humming it whilst we were out and it was starting to bug me after a while. ๐Ÿ˜› I need to find more music from this band as their sound is pretty awesome. Definitely give it a listen!

Favourite Game –ย Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney: Dual Destinies.

I hate that I go into phases when it comes to playing games and this is definitely a game I’ve played on and off for God knows how long! I do really love playing it but sometimes I just don’t have time and then other times I’ll have LOADS of time to play it! It’s so bizarre. Anyway, I’ve finally sort of got into this game and I really do love playing it. I feel like a mini detective/solicitor and it’s pretty cool. I only paid about ยฃ7.00 for it too when I picked it up, which is pretty good. Now I’m talking about it, I actually really want to go and play it.

So those were my favourites from September. I’m pretty excited for October as I plan to start my Christmas shopping and of course we have Halloween and Bonfire Night coming up, which is always good. ๐Ÿ˜›

Do you have plans for both of those things yet? What were your favourites from September too? Make sure to let me know in the comments down below!

Until next time, take care all and I hope you had a lovely weekend.
