Badged up for Spring & Summer – What I Wore (12th April 2015)

Doesn’t hurt to start the post with a silly picture!

I haven’t made a what I wore post for ages and I already intend to have another one up on my blog towards the end of the month. I used to love doing these posts and being able to show off my unique style. These days however I either don’t have time, or make zero effort.

I recently picked up a new jacket though from Topshop and it’s one I’ve wanted for months. So long infact I mentioned it in a wish list post last year. June to be exact. I remember eying this up in Coventry and wanting to buy it. Then stating I would pick it up when I went to Bristol. I never did mind and in December and January  it went into the sales. I went to pick it up then so many times, but I never did due to trying to save money. I do regret that, especially when I looked for it again and it was gone. I was gutted.

Only recently did I think about it again and check out eBay. I’m a huge fan of eBay and have been for a long time, something regular readers on my blog will know!

This jacket (from memory) was originally £50-£60, it went into the sale for £25-£30 and I picked this up on eBay for £25.50. I’m happy with that! Yes it was worn a few times by the original owner and it needed a wash, but that doesn’t bother me at all.

Glasses – Ernest Hemingway.

Lips – Rimmel Exaggerate Lip Liner in Eastend Snob.

Black t-shirt (underneath jacket) – Primark.

American flag denim shorts (underneath jacket) – Topshop.

Tights – Tesco.

Sneakers – Vans (LE Star Wars Darth Vader).

I love it and since buying it I’ve worn it constantly. I love my parka from Topshop for cold spring and autumn days, and especially for freezing cold winter. But for the warmer days in spring and autumn, and definitely hot summer days, I NEEDED a good transition jacket.

This is perfect. I’ve always loved the military style look and ten years ago I owned a jacket exactly the same as this. If it still fit me, I would wear it.

I feel so confident and great when I wear this and it’s something I’ll be excited to create more looks and posts about in the future.

I really enjoyed taking these pictures, especially some of the ones my boyfriend took closer to my face as they just look really cool. It was also cool to edit these images and I thoroughly enjoyed it.

Me and my boyfriend had a lovely day out and whilst the weather wasn’t amazing, it was just great to walk around and relax. We went out for a pub lunch too and it was nice to just get out of the house and do something other than uni work!

I can’t wait for the nicer weather, I’m excited.

What did you think of my outfit? Let me know in the comments.

Until next time, take care all and see you soon.

Happy Easter!

Image taken from weheartit.com

Just a little post today to wish everyone a lovely Easter!

Don’t eat too much chocolate and make sure to have a yummy Sunday roast.

I’ve been spending Easter snuggled up with my boyfriend in bed whilst I do uni work. We bought ourselves some chocolate eggs to indulge in and boy have they been yummy! Think we’ve eaten too much though.

As well as that I’ve just been thinking about some exciting posts I want to write on my blog in the future.

I’m so pleased to have two weeks off of uni for Easter. It means I get to have a break, as well as get some of my assignments started.

But enough of me going on, here are some cute Easter related pictures for you to enjoy.

I hope everyone has a great day and I’ll see you again soon.

Wednesday Wish List – New Look

It’s not officially spring and what are you meant to do during this season? Spring cleaning! The first time in God knows how long, I actually did a little bit of spring cleaning. I started on my wardrobe and I found so many pieces of clothing that I hadn’t worn in years and wouldn’t wear again, as well as pieces that I have missed wearing.

As well as that, with the weather getting a little better I’ve started wanting to wear dresses and skirts more than my jeans and Victoria Secret pants. However when I did try some on last week I felt like I shouldn’t have bothered, as so many of my dresses either didn’t fit right, were too big in some places and small in others, or just looked horrible.

It did make me feel like shit to be honest and I think you need new clothes when you try on multiple pieces of clothing and hate them all.

So I think it’s time to sort my wardrobe out, there’s nothing worse than wearing the same clothes day after day and week after week. I’m meant to be saving at the moment but the odd piece of new clothing every now and then won’t hurt.

So I had a huge mooch around New Look’s website to see what I could get nice for spring, as well as summer.

  • Rust Stripe Print Crop Top – £7.99.

I was having a nose on New Look’s website and what trends were out for S/S 15, and this was one of the main ones for the 70’s trend. This would look lovely with some high-waisted mom jeans, as well as a high-waisted skirt or shorts. Of course I’d pair these up with my Star Wars Vans or my Chelsea boots. I won’t lie when I say I don’t have the best stomach in the world and I don’t have the confidence to wear cropped clothing because of it. BUT I want to start trying to be comfortable with my body and I think daring to wear things like this will make me better. If I really don’t feel confident one day I could always pop a vest or long-sleeved thermal t-shirt underneath. Plus at £7.99, this is a really good price! It’s dead set on the 70’s trend that is out for spring and summer this year.

  • Black Open Shoulder Swing Dress – £14.99.

I’m after some new dresses but not just ones I can wear in spring and summer. I’d like some I can wear all year around. I’ve been after an open shoulder dress for years and they’re never that nice to be honest. However I do really like the look of this one. It’s simple and black, a colour you can wear all year around and accessories with pops of colour. I also like how it’s a swing dress as I find with this style of dress it hides my tummy, which on days where I’m not feeling so great *cough* bloated *cough* it means I can cover up my belly and still look nice. I could dress this up with all sorts of things. My fake leather jacket, some flats or maybe even boots. It would be nice to wear during the summer without tights on a night out, or maybe even some patterned or coloured tights.

  • Green Check Contrast Chiffon Sleeve Collared Dress -£22.99.

This is probably the biggest thing I would like off of this wish list and something I may even have a look for and buy before the end of the week. It’s a gorgeous green checkered dress with sheer cream sleeves, perfect for any season! It looks very straight cut though and due to being curvy I don’t think this will look that great on me when it comes to trying it on. I also really like the collar on this dress, as that is something I have always been a sucker for when it comes down to dresses with them on. On the model this looks quite short, so I’m hoping it wouldn’t be the same issue with me. I’d team this up again with my fake leather jacket, as well as with some boots and flats. In the summer this would look great with a chunky pair of sandals for a grunge look!

  • Black Contrast Collar Skater Dress – £19.99.

This dress is gorgeous! It’s the perfect shape for my body and it looks beautiful with the white-collar. I love skater dresses, they just compliment my figure and in turn make me look and feel good. This is in black, which of course will work with everything and anything like the black swing dress too. This looks really short on the model and when I was showing these pieces to my boyfriend he commented on the same issue too. Like the swing dress too, I’d team this up with some patterned or coloured tights, as well as my boots or flats. I have two dresses similar to this one, but due to them both being from cheaper high street stores, they’re starting to see their last days now. So this would be a perfect replacement for both of them.

  • Blue High Waisted Ripped Skinny Jeans – £24.99.

I would love a pair of high-waisted jeans and for a while I wanted a pair of mom jeans, but I don’t even think these are in style and being sold anymore. These are also ripped at the knee, another look I’ve always wanted but never really bothered to pick up. New Look jeans are pretty good and if I did want to plan an outfit I would try the crop top alongside these, as they’d look great teamed up with a jacket or cardigan, as well as my Star Wars Vans. I would like some new jeans, especially ones I can style up as a majority of my jeans are very “skater” looking and what you would team up with skate shoes and not really much else.

  • Wide Fit Black Patent Studded Side Loafers – £17.99.

I really need some new flats and I haven’t been able to find anything that I really like. I’ve owned my current pair since 2012 so I’m in need for a new pair as soon as possible. I searched for “studded” in New Look’s search bar and when these came up in the results, I was pretty happy about it. They’re studded loafers and look really comfortable and nice. My shoe size changes when it comes to flats and I often go down a size so I would need to go in store and try these on. They are on the expensive size, but I don’t mind paying this much for shoes if they’re going to be a good fit and feel good too.

So that was my wish list from New Look.

I really want to start doing a wish list Wednesday’s post. Would my readers like this? If so let me know in the comments.

Until next time, take care all!

Spring Tag!

Image taken from weheartit.com

I love spring, it means the weather is beginning to get warmer and lighter nights are just around the corner. Since getting back from my holiday I’ve been lusting after warmer weather and not needing to layer up and wear my parka. I just want to wear my pleather jacket again, as well as my dresses and playsuits.

It’s officially spring today! So what better way to start off spring 2015 on my blog, than a spring tag!

1. Favorite spring nail polish?
I like my cream and pastel shades for spring, and I’ll definitely be wearing my Models Own Speckled polishes (post about them here). They remind me of Mini Eggs, which I love. As well as that I’ll probably be wearing my Illamasqua Raindrops (review here) polish as I love that shade for spring too.

2. What is your must-have lip color this spring?
I’m swaying towards pinks this spring, mostly nude pinks as I’ve recently got into wearing this shade and I really like it. As well as that I always like to rock a hot pink shade too. You can’t go wrong with pink! One I’ll probably wear a lot is Miley Cyrus’ Viva Glam lipstick (review here).

3. Show us your favorite spring dress!
I have so many favourites! I love my Dr. Martens dress (lookbook here), as well as my Miss Selfridge playsuit which I wore on holiday and will continue to wear in the spring and summer in the UK. Here are some pictures of both dresses…

4. What’s your favorite flower?
I don’t reallllly like flowers to be honest and I put this down to having hayfever… But if I had to choose one it would probably be sunflowers and lilies.

5. Favorite spring scarf/accessory?
Favourite spring scarf is definitely my white skull one that I bought three years ago (wow time flies!). It’s light and perfect to wear with dresses in the spring and summer.

6. What spring trend(s) are you most excited about this year? (Makeup, fashion or both!)
I am really liking the look of the 70’s trend, as I find the style that was out then was pretty nice and looked lovely. When it comes to make up and hair, I don’t really bother with those trends as I just wear my hair how I want to, and same with my lipstick too. Clothes wise, I am in desperate need of a make over! So I may go down the 70’s route!

Image taken from weheartit.com

7. Favorite spring candle?
I’ll burn anything throughout the year, but I think out of all my Yankee Candles the candles I’ll be burning most throughout spring will be Sweet Strawberry and Sweet Apple (post about them both here). They’re perfect for spring and smell delicious too. They’re simple too which is great for spring.

8. Favorite body spray/perfume for spring?
Ooo this is a tough one as I have so many I like to wear throughout the year. I think a few that I really like are Paul Smith Rose, DKNY MYNY, Marc Jacobs Oh Lola, Gucci Envy Me, and Lancome Miracle. They’re all light and floral and citrus scents which work lovely for spring.

9. What is spring like where you live?
Erm… It depends I suppose but usually wet! It rains a lot in the UK as it is, but it seems to rain more during spring than any other month. The thing I like about spring in the UK is how great it is to go into the countryside and awe over all the baby animals, as well as take in the sights. I especially love seeing cherry blossom trees.

Image taken from weheartit.com

10. What’s your favorite thing about spring?
Baby animals and cherry blossom trees for sure! They just both make me happy, especially when it comes to photography too. I also like how lighter nights come around and you can go out in the evenings with friends, family, partner, etc and just enjoy yourselves for longer. It’s also nice how it gets a little warmer out too.

11. Are you a spring cleaner?
Sometimes, not like hardcore but I would like to do a lot of spring cleaning this year. I’ve done a little already with my clothes, but I need to do some more. There’s probably loads of junk I could chuck away out of my room!

12. Any plans for spring break or an upcoming vacation?
We don’t have spring break in the UK, but we do get Easter break. I’m not at uni during this time for two weeks and throughout that time I’ll be working, as well as doing my uni work. I may also use it to do my spring cleaning and have a bit of me and blog time. I won’t have any holiday’s coming up, but I would love to go out for a day somewhere nice for my boyfriends birthday, which is just after the Easter holiday’s.

So that was the Spring Tag! I really enjoyed doing it, and I hope my readers have enjoyed reading it.

Who do I tag? EVERYONE! If you take part in this tag, please link me back to said post via a comment so I can come and read it.

Until next time, take care all and I hope you all have a good weekend.

Spring & Summer Fashion Inspiration

Okay I know it has been a week since I last wrote and published a post on my blog, but I’m not lying or making excuses when I say I’ve been really busy the last week.

The weekend I went away to the Lake District and although it was tiring due to climbing a huge mountain and driving for over 3 hours there and 5 hours back home it was amazing and a much-needed break.

At the moment I am suffering with tired legs from the walk, as well as from a chest infection which is pretty crap but I have the next two days off of work so I’ll be writing up and scheduling some blog posts, yes!

I realised when I was packing my weekend suitcase for the Lake District that I don’t really have many lighter coloured clothes, nor do I have many dresses for summer, I don’t have many longer pairs of shorts, or any cool looking summer t-shirts and it made me feel rubbish and worried about what I intend to wear during the rest of spring and summer this year. As well as that I’ll be going away to Bristol in less than a months time, as well as hopefully going to Fuerteventura in September for a long holiday away with my boyfriend and maybe some friends.

So! I have finally decided to have a look online at some shops to get a vague idea of what sort of style I would like to start going for during the summer times and it seems to be swaying towards skater boarder/surf boarder styles and a lot of the brands I have had my eye on lean towards these too.

So for today mind I am making a post about my fashion inspiration for spring and summer this year.

Although I do shop the high street shops for clothes when it comes to spring and summer, since getting with my boyfriend I’ve been able to start getting back into the style mentioned above, which I’ve worn a lot over the past 10 years.

Some favourite brands in particular are Vans, Element, DC and Animal.

There are some certain pieces of clothing by all of these brands that hold a certain style that I like, whether it be a baggy piece of clothing or a tighter piece. I’m going to share them all with you today!

  • Baggy t-shirts

You can’t go wrong with a baggy t-shirt! It can keep you cool and prevent you from feeling clammy during warm days as well as hide your tummy if you aren’t so confident about it, like the way I am with my own. I have a lovely baggy t-shirt by Element that I bought in the January sales and still now it’s doing me a good job and I wore it for my mountain climb the weekend, it did a great job of keeping me cool! You can get these t-shirts from Primark too for less than £10 each if you don’t wish to pay a big price tag and in all sorts of colours. I have one in a dark blue and a cream colour.

  • Sweaters

I know the weather is getting warmer and with that sweaters should be put into the back of my wardrobe and left there until autumn and winter are upon us once more, but I just can’t! I love my sweaters, they’re that warm hug you crave when no one is around and are comfortable as hell! I wear them when the weather isn’t that warm, as well as in the evenings when the sun has gone done and I wish to sit outside. I live in my Animal sweater and I’m sure throughout spring and summer I’ll continue to do just that! As well as that one I also love my Spider Man sweaters from Forever 21, they do some awesome ones for a great price.

  • Denim shorts

I have plenty of pairs of denim shorts and too right I should! They can be worn on their own with bare legs, or with a pair of black or patterned tights when it’s a little chilly or you feel a little conscious of your thighs (like I do). I have one pair of longer (just about the knee) shorts that I live in during the spring and summer when it’s really warm as I just feel too conscious to wear short shorts due to my thighs, but sometimes I just has to be done and at the right place, and with the right people I feel a little less paranoid. I do however want another pair of longer denim shorts, so that I don’t worry I’m too paranoid during holidays and such. You can pick these up ANYWHERE! I’ve always loved Topshop’s denim shorts, especially the American flag style, which I have one pair of and miss wearing terribly!

  • A baggy hoodie

I don’t often wear jackets or coats during the spring and summer as it’s usually too warm to and as I get warm quite easily I often opt for a hoodie to keep me warm on my travels. One I’ve been grabbing lately is my boyfriends yellow DC hoodie, but I do plan to get my own Element or DC hoodie soon so I can stop stealing his. As well as that I also tend to put my Evanescence hoodie on, it cost enough so I need to ensure to wear it! xD

  • Skateboard shoes

These are pretty much what I live in during the hot days as my Dr Martens are just too warm and the same can be said about my Chelsea boots too. I even wear a pair of black Vans for work! I wear my Vans slip on shoes, or my newer DC skate shoes during the warm days. They’re greats shoes that can just be slipped on and off whenever.

Now here are some pictures of some inspiration!

So I hope you enjoyed this fashion post! I’ll be going for some slight clothing shopping before I go to Bristol and I’m sure that shopping trip will result in either a haul post or plenty of what I wore posts after Bristol! 😀

I hope everyone’s week has gone off to a good start, I know mine has!

Until next time, take care all.

Things I Love About Spring

Image taken from weheartit.com

It’s been spring officially for a month now and I always forget how much I love it until it comes around late March.

Thanks to plenty of early shifts at work, weekends spent out and about with my boyfriend, as well as my curtains being able to stay open for longer due to lighter nights, I’ve began to notice loads of things I love about spring, which I thought I would share with you this evening.

ALSO I realise this post is very LATE coming up on my blog today, but I’ve been rather tired since finishing work this afternoon. However now I’m wearing my new onesie (which I will be posting about next week!), watching Goodnight Mister Tom, texting my boyfriend, and having a cup of tea I’m ready to get this post written and posted on my blog.

So I hope you enjoy it, I know I’m going to enjoy writing it!

Image taken from weheartit.com

The sound of rain, especially light and heavy rain.

I just HAD to include a picture from Bambi here! Something we have been seeing the past few days is rain, and plenty of it. We were told we were going to be getting some lovely weather for Easter and whilst it hasn’t been so bad it’s just a bit rotten at the moment, which is a bit of a shame. This being said, I do rather like the sound of rain, both light and heavy especially. I’m one of these people where if the weather isn’t too cold outside whilst it’s raining, I’ll open the window so that I can listen to it whilst I do whatever I need to. It’s just a relaxing sound and before now I’ve listened to those hour-long videos on YouTube of where you listen to sound effects whilst trying to sleep. Some of my favourite rain related ones are the sound of rain whilst in a car and in a tent. As well as how lovely it sounds, it’s good for all the new spring plants and flowers that are growing through beautifully!

Image taken from weheartit.com

Still being able to drink hot chocolate throughout the day (especially the evenings!) due to it still being chilly.

I love hot chocolate and as I work in a coffee shop, I have hot chocolate on tap, however I want it, whenever I want it. I don’t drink it every shift I work as that would take away the treat of having a hot chocolate in the first place, but when I do have one, it’s yummy! I especially love mint hot chocolate and honeycomb hot chocolate. I treated myself to a naughty mint hot chocolate with cream and marshmallows, it was amazing!

Image taken from weheartit.com

Burning candles, although that is acceptable throughout the year.

I love candles, especially my Yankee Candles! I received a large Sweet Strawberry Yankee Candle at the start of the year for my birthday from my boyfriend and only since the start of this month have I been burning it. It’s lovely to pop on a candle and watch it burn into late into the night, there’s just something nicer about burning a candle in the spring, than there is in the winter and I don’t know why! My boyfriend shares my love for yummy candles, and he’s owned two apple scented ones since the start of the year, so whenever I go to his for the weekend he burns his yummy Apple candle by Lily Flame. Can’t go wrong with candles, no matter what season!

Image taken from weheartit.com

Cherry blossom trees.

For as long as I can remember, I’ve always liked something about cherry blossom trees. I don’t know why but they’re just so beautiful and symbolise spring perfectly. Cherry blossoms only last until the end of spring, which is a real shame as they’re so gorgeous and add something bright and colourful to the season and especially to the UK. On my drive to and from work, as well as wherever I go really I drive/walk past loads of cherry blossom trees at the moment. Some are a light pink, some are a dark pink, but no matter what they’re all beautiful! My two apple trees sprout beautiful white blossoms every spring, which makes me happy and as we’re growing a cherry tree in the garden now, we’ll eventually have some gorgeous pink blossoms of our own. I intend to go out with my camera and get snap happy whilst the blossoms are around. Cherry blossom trees are my favourite trees!

Image taken from weheartit.com

Lighter, thus later evenings.

A year ago I would have thrived off of this due to being able to go to the pub any night of the week (especially the weekend) and due to it not getting dark until nearly 10pm I’d be able to sit outside in the beer garden with people getting drunk and laughing my head off… Although I still want to occasionally go out and enjoy the lighter evenings in a beer garden with my friends, I don’t wish to get drunk, just merry. As well as that this past year has taught me that there is more to life than going out every weekend to get drunk. I’m 24 now and I’m not getting any younger, I sound rather soppy but I’m getting to that time in my life where I would like to start settling down, getting what I want from life and making the most of it. Now instead of going out every weekend to get drunk, I spend it with my boyfriend, and sometimes even our friends where we’ll go out somewhere nice for the day and in the evening too. With the weather picking up a little and the later evenings, it means late walks and merry pub outings will be occurring. As well as all those things I love the view from my window from the late afternoon until it finally gets dark, it’s just gorgeous and I can’t really put into words how much I love it.

SO those were all the things I love about spring! Well, the ones worth mentioning anyway! As well as all those I also enjoy new baby animals being born, Easter, being able to wear my spring clothing, and finally the joys of pollen soon taking its toll on my nose, throat and eyes (I hate having hay fever)!

So, what do you love about spring? Let me know in the comments!

I’ve really enjoyed writing this post and sadly it is a day late, but better late than never eh?

Well I’m off to write some more blog posts up, I’ve got a long night ahead of me. 😉

Until next time all, take care and hope you’re excited for the weekend!

Things I’m Excited For – The Body Shop

Recently The Body Shop have announced a lot of exciting things for spring and summer this year, including hair chalk, some lip glosses, and eye shadows, as well as a special edition collection, which I oh so wish was permanent!

Like a lot of bloggers have been doing, I’m also going to jump on the bandwagon and talk about some of these, but I’ll be sharing the ones I’m interested in. I don’t really bother with lip gloss anymore and as regular readers will know, I don’t wear a full face of make up, just my lip products.

So let’s get started! I’ll save the best for last! 😛

Hair Chalk.

For a year or two now, everyone has gone mad for multicoloured hair and people have gone to all sorts to gain it whether it be with permanent, semi permanent or sprays and chalks to get this look. Women have been putting it on their ends of their hair to give them a different look, as well as a pop of colour and I even bought some red hair spray about a year ago to try and pull the look off myself, but I never got round to trying it and the can of spray is still in my cupboard…

However now that The Body Shop have bought out some hair chalks, I KNOW I’ll be giving these a go, as they look and sound amazing. I’ve seen some promotional images of how these transfer onto both blonde and brunette hair colours and they look great!

There are two shades to choose from, pink and blue.

Image taken from thebodyshop.com

The pink hair chalk is called Tickle Me Pink and is described as, “Transform your look with a pop of pink hair chalk for instantly on-trend style.”

Image taken from thebodyshop.com

The pink hair chalk is called Falling For Blue and is described as, “Transform your look with bold blue hair chalk for instantly on-trend style.”

I really like the look of these hair chalks and not only do they look nice in their simple packaging, they transfer well onto the hair and to apply and remove, is a piece of cake!

The colours are both pretty bold and to transfer to hair you just pick the piece of hair you want to make colourful and rub the chalk onto the hair. Once you’re satisfied with your new temporary colour you spritz with some hair spray to keep seal it into place.

When you’ve had enough of your hair chalk all you need to do is wash it out with shampoo. Simple!

As of yet a price hasn’t been announced for  how much the hair chalks will be, but as soon as I know, I’ll be updating this post!

I’m going to get my hands on Falling For Blue, when my spending ban  is over, as I really want to give colour a go for the summer. I’ll be applying it to pieces of my braid to give it a funky look! When/if I give this a go, I’ll be making sure to post about it!

The Body Shop Special Edition BlueberrySpecial Edition Blueberry.

This is what I’m excited about, the Special Edition Blueberry collection that The Body Shop is bringing out for spring and summer. Damn, why can’t it be permanent?! I know so many who love Blueberry and when The Body Shop brought their Blueberry body butter out, it did very well! Same about their Blueberry shower gel, but that was only an online item, which was a shame.

However they now have a WHOLE collection of goodies out, including lip butter, shower gel, a cute bath sponge, body scrub-gelee, body lotion, and body butter.

I already have my eye on pretty much everything but I know that in reality I’m only going to be picking up four things (if I like them after trying them in store of course!) out of the six listed above… Unless I’m good and pick up less, but I doubt this will happen. I love blueberry a lot, it’s one of the few fruits I can actually eat and blueberry muffins are something that I’ve grown to love over the past couple of years.

image taken from thebodyshop.com

This has been up on The Body Shop’s website for quite a few months now for £4.00 for the 250ml bottle, which is the standard price of their 250ml shower gels. I have enough shower gel to probably last me until the end of 2014, but I CAN’T resist this and I know it would be loved and used just as much as my other shower gels would be. This would be lovely and refreshing to use during the summer whether it be in the morning or on the night. I love The Body Shop’s shower gels as they always leave me feeling clean, moisturised and smelling beautiful.

Image taken from thebodyshop.com

How cute is this little bath sponge?! I probably don’t need a new one, but how damn cute is this??? I don’t think I can resist it and I could probably do with a new one soon anyway! I can only imagine this will be between £2.00-£3.00 but as of yet the website hasn’t stated a price. Look at his little face! Damn I need this in my bathroom. I love the colour blue too!

Image taken from thebodyshop.com

This is something somewhat new sounding by The Body Shop and I can’t wait to check out a tester version of it in store! This is the body scrub-gelee and the name is just so cool! It just sounds like a gel style scrub, which sounds rather exciting to me. It contains honey, as well as blueberry to help keep the skin soft, as well as give you that gorgeous blueberry scent. This will help lift away dead skin cells and leave the skin feeling soft and smooth. I only have two body scrubs and by the time I pick this up, the one will be finished with! I’d use this on my legs before shaving as it would help with shaving as well as leaving my legs lovely and smooth and smelling gorgeous. I don’t know how much this will cost but I can’t wait to pick this up!

Image taken from thebodyshop.com

I love a good body lotion and for a while I have wanted to try one of The Body Shop’s body lotions, as I’ve previously tried their Coconut spray lotion and it was amazing! I want to try the Strawberry one, but for now I would so try the Blueberry one which sounds delicious! I can’t stand the body butters from The Body Shop, they’re greasy and take years to go into my skin that I just want to rip my skin off! However the body lotions are lovely and light, still moisturisng the same as the body butters would. Like a majority of the Blueberry products that are coming out, I don’t know how much this will be, but I can’t wait to pick it up.

So that’s all the things I’m excited for from The Body Shop!

I can see me being poor when I come off of my spending ban… But it’ll be well worth it!

Have you had your eye on any of the new products from The Body Shop? Let me know in the comments.

Take care all and I hope you’re having a good February so far!
