April Wish List ’18

Easter has come and gone and I hope you had an amazing Easter with your family and friends! Me and Dane had a lovely long weekend together, that was very much needed after he’s been away from work.

I cannot believe it’s now April and this month I’m hoping will FINALLY be the first time this year that we don’t have any bloody snow. I am officially ready for spring.

It’s also Dane’s birthday this month, so whilst I have my wish list post with plenty of goodies on, I need to pick up Dane’s birthday presents all the same.

Let’s not waste too much time, on with the wish list (which sadly isn’t anything special this month)!

• Nintendo 3DS Style Boutique 3: Styling Star – (link)

I recently picked up a new 2DS for myself and oh man I love it! I can’t wait to talk about it on my blog soon to be honest with you. ANYWAY I noticed recently that Nintendo have brought out a new Style Boutique game and since the first one back in 2010, I’ve played all of them to date. I really want to get this one soon after recently playing the demo. They’re just so relaxing to play and not the hardest in the world either.

•  Official Nintendo 3DS XL Persona Q Shadow of the Labyrinth Travel Case – (link)

As I just mentioned above, with buying myself a new 2DS I need a new case to keep it in. I’m loving this limited edition Persona Q one and I REALLY want it! It’s not cheap though sadly and that puts me off sadly. 😦 I’m going to see how I feel when I’m paid. I’ve had a search around for one similar if not the same one at a cheaper price, but sadly I’ve had no luck.

• Pokemon Center Original OTEIRE Please Memo stand clip Pikachu mini figure – (link)

This is something I was hoping to pick up around my birthday, but left it. I still want it to be honest with you. Now I’m feeling settled at work I would love to have a little picture of me and Dane on my desk. Not a normal one, but one of our commissioned pieces of us, specifically the one we had drawn at Hyper Japan. It’s our favourite and to look at it on a daily basis during my shift would cheer me up, even more so on a cute Pikachu picture stand.

• Nichijou Manga Volume 5 and Volume 6 – (link) and (link)

As I’ve said previously, I always like to order at least one manga to read in the month. I don’t know if I will order any this month as I want to catch up on manga I currently own. I also plan to order Dane loads of manga for his birthday so… ANYWAY! I started reading Nichijou at the start of 2017 as I received some of the volumes for Christmas 2016. I also received some for Christmas/my birthday just gone and it’s time for me to continue reading it. I can’t just keep waiting for Christmas and birthdays to read it. 😛 They’re not expensive really and there’s only 10 volumes at the moment so before I know it I’d have them all. We shall see though.

• Nintendo 3DS Detective Pikachu – (link)

The final item on this months wish list is yet another 3DS game. I remember hearing about this coming out and was super excited, especially with recent news out about Ryan Reynolds voicing Detective Pikachu in the movie that is being made. SO when I heard the Pikachu’s voice in the trailer for the game… I was extremely disappointed and put off buying it. However, I keep seeing trailers on my Facebook as well as having a look at YouTube myself for videos of game play and I rather like the look of it… I can ignore the voice of Pikachu and how brash it sounds. I’ve wanted to play games like this for ages, so maybe this one can be a first insight into games like this, eh?

Well, those are all the items I have on my wish list. I couldn’t really think of what I wanted to add here this month as I need to be good to be honest. We shall see what happens, but I don’t think I’ll be buying myself lovely things, it’ll be Dane being spoilt in April!

Holiday Haul!

Woohoo I’m officially back from my holiday (almost a week to be exact!), and boy was it good. The sun was out most days, and I’m now sporting a gorgeous natural tan. Don’t be too jealous! Whilst I was away I did a little bit of shopping. How could I not take advantage of a tax free island? Would have been rude not to… I didn’t buy as much as I actually thought I was going to, which left me feeling pleasantly surprised. Not only did I buy myself some odd bits and pieces, but I also bought some Christmas and birthday presents too.

The first things I picked up were actually from Birmingham airport. Duty free is always a must have to splurge on before you get on your plane, but this being said I didn’t exactly grab many offers… I won’t lie when I say that I wished I had waited until I had arrived at Fuerteventura to buy the first thing, but no point in crying over spilt milk, eh?

• Dior Blooming Bouquet 100ml EDT Gift Set

I’ve had my eye on this perfume for quite some time now after receiving a sample of it in the post back in the summer. It’s an eau de toilette so it’s a lovely light perfume, and perfect for summer due to it’s fruity, and floral notes. This set cost a purse crying £80.00, which came with a 100ml bottle of Blooming Bouquet, as well as a 7.5ml refill bottle. The refill bottle is stunning, definitely a posher version of a Travello bottle. So for the high price tag, it was sort of worth the money really. I wore this every evening we went out and I loved it. This will probably be my go to scent for my new job, as well as for spring and summer.

• Benefit The POREfessional Face Primer

I LOVE this stuff! It’s definitely a must have for me now since it recently returned into my beauty regime. I’m really low on my first tube so I decided to pick up another one whilst I was in duty free. I used this in the evenings whenever we went out, and due to how light weight it is on the skin, it meant it was perfect when it was still warm outside.Due to this, I would say this is a definite must have for holidays! The airport had a special offer where if you bought one it would cost £20.00, but if you bought the three/four gift set, it was only £53.00! I was really tempted by the special gift set (as you can only buy it at the airport… apparently), but considering how much I had just spent on the Dior perfume, I decided to leave it. Next time my parents fly out I’ll ask them to pick the set up for me and give them the money back. My boyfriend will be jetting out in January for a holiday, so I may even ask him to pick it up for me!

I have to say that one thing I hate about Fuerteventura is how they have a chain of lingerie shops called Women’s Secret, and we don’t! This being said, we can order online from there but meh it’s not the same thing as going in store and going through all the amazing pieces they have on offer. That and it’s cheaper in Euro’s. This being said we now have Victoria’s Secret, and that’s my favourite lingerie shop so I can’t be too sad about not getting Women’s Secret. I only picked up a couple of things whilst I was in Women’s Secret. I didn’t intend on bringing anything back, but alas I couldn’t help myself, and even then I was pretty good. The possibility of bringing back some pajamas really did tempt me, but I left it and just bought loads of knickers instead… 😛

• Hipster briefs (in black, white, and grey)

As you can see I bought quite a few of these knickers… This wasn’t even my intention to be honest! I originally bought a pack of black briefs to keep at my house in Fuerteventura, which I left behind but I loved them so much I just had to buy another pack to bring home with me. This resulted in my buying two more packs, a white pack, and a grey pack. I have no regrets because these knickers are just so bloody comfortable! If there is a pair of knickers sent from heaven, then they’re these. As you can probably see these are hipster briefs, comfortable, and perfect for hugging my curvy bum in all the right places. These weren’t on sale or anything, but cost €12.99 a pack, and you get three in a packet. I didn’t mind paying this price to be honest as I just love these so much, and doubt I’ll find any as good in the UK.

• Mickey and Minnie Mouse knickers

These were a bit of an impulse buy but they were on sale from €12.99 down to just €5.99. Who could say no to that? These are really cute, yet sexy, and comfortable. They’re grey with a picture of Mickey and Minnie Mouse having a kiss and a cuddle on the one side, super cute! I am such an unsexy person when it comes to lingerie, so I choose childish, and comfortable over sexy, and lace any day!

One of my favourite places to shop in Fuerteventura is Correlejo, it’s basically like a smaller version of London (WAY SMALLER) to the island, and thus the place to go shopping. It’s especially a great place for surfing, and the fashion there is the best with the surf, skate, and (surprisingly) snow shops. This is the main reason why I like going there, as there are over a handful of these shops dotted around Correlejo, and although I wanted to go twice to make sure I visited all the shops, I only managed to pop into a couple on one visit. My favourite shop is one that is near the top of the high street as they sell some complete bargains in there, and they’re all high brand names such as Vans, DC Shoes, Roxy, Billabong, etc. So I picked up a couple of t-shirts from there.

• Vans Disney The Little Mermaid Ariel Raglan T-Shirt

I’ve mentioned on my blog in the past how much I’ve loved the collaboration between Vans and Disney. I did really like the look of The Little Mermaid goodies they brought out in the first collection, but not enough to actually pay the prices Vans had things for sale at. When I spotted that this shop were selling one of the Ariel t-shirts with 30% off I decided to snap one up quick. They only had large sizes left and whilst I probably should have tried it on, I decided to get it anyway. There’s nothing wrong with a baggy t-shirt. I’ll be teaming this up with some baggy jeans, denim shorts, and anything really. It’ll be perfect for lazy days, and shopping trips. I picked it up €23.00, bargain! When I tried it on at home, it felt baggy enough that it wasn’t swamping me, which is perfect really. I intend to rock this Christmas Day.

• DC Shoes T-Shirt

Another t-shirt from the same shop. I saw this and knew I had to have it. I didn’t want to worry if I left it behind I would regret it. This is a navy t-shirt with the DC Shoes logo in red, and white. It actually reminds me of a t-shirt my boyfriend owns by DC Shoes which is one of the reasons I picked it up. I love that t-shirt of his, and when we first got together I would constantly ask to borrow it to wear, or tell him to wear it. So it’s nice to kind of have my own version. That’s just so soppy isn’t it? I picked this up in a medium which is the only size they had for this one, I’m sure it’ll fit fine! This was 50% off in then sale so I only paid €13.00 for it. When I finally got this home and tried it on, it fit lovely but has a very odd boxy looking fit on the top half of it. I’m sure this will go away the more I wear it.

I didn’t buy much make up whilst on holiday, which I am somewhat surprised about, but at the same time I didn’t want to buy much anyway. So this being said, I did really good! Although I have three things here, I only bought two of them as one was a gift, but I still wanted to mention it here. These are all things I have wanted for years, so it was lovely to finally treat myself to them.

• YSL Kiss & Blush Soft Matte Colour in shade 3 Rose Libre

One evening when I stayed in I watched the 2014 film about Yves Saint Laurent which I’d downloaded specifically to watch on the plane to or from my holiday. I’m glad I didn’t watch it on the plane now to be honest, as I enjoyed it more during an evening in, whilst chilling in bed. It kind of gave me the push to buy the lip colour which I had nearly bought when I came here in January. It’s a gorgeous creamy lipstick and blush, which reminds me of a creamier version of Collection 2000’s lip cream (in shade Cotton Candy). Rose Libre is a cool neutral rose shade, and one that can be worn all year around, especially in spring! Due to how light it is on the lips this will be perfect to wear for my new job. It’s definitely a shade for wearing to smart events and such. I doubt that I’ll wear it as a blush, as regular readers will know, I don’t wear a full face of make up. This was an absolute steal at just €29.00 considering they cost £28.00! I’m sure I’ll be reviewing this in the New Year.

• Clarins Instant Light Natural Lip Protector in shade 01 Rose Shimmer

This is another product that I’ve been lusting after for ages, again since January and even before then! My friend Ali over at (Maliberry Makeup) reviewed this not long ago (link to that review here), which opened my eyes to this shade, as I had my eyes on another shade beforehand. This is a lovely non sticky lip gloss that gives a nice conditioning feeling to the lips, whilst leaving them with a natural shade, this one being a delicate pink shade, which is somewhat bright. These Clarins Lip Protectors also have a gorgeous sweet scent to them as well, an aspect I love in lip products. I’ve worn this to work a few times now and it looked natural and beautiful. It’s going to be a staple for me when I don’t fancy wearing anything dark on my lips. These cost £18.00 in the UK, but I picked this up for just €12.00 which is so damn cheap! I wish I had bought more now I’m back home, but two of these is more than enough.

• Clarins Instant Light Natural Lip Protector in shade 05 Candy Shimmer

This was actually a gift from my dad. He managed to snag it alongside another present for me for just €8.00! I couldn’t believe it when he told me, but he’s got a way with words, like myself really when it comes to trying to snag bargains. This is the shade I have been lusting after for years after my friend Poppy reviewed it over on her blog years ago. It just looked like such a gorgeous darker pink nude shade, something I don’t find myself going towards to be honest. It’s more of a peach shade and definitely darker than Rose Shimmer. Like Rose Shimmer, it has the sweetie scent to it, which really gives it a lovely feel overall. I’m going to be wearing these loads throughout the warmer months of the year, as they’re not sticky at all, and are also lightweight.

I didn’t intend on buying any games whilst I was on holiday, but alas I did… Oops!

• Nintendo 3DS games – New Style Boutique 2 Fashion Forward and Cooking Mama Bon Appetit!

I wasn’t going to buy any games whilst on holiday… Even though I was looking for the Style Boutique game the day after arriving. I had downloaded the demo to play whilst there, and I fell in love with the game after finishing the demo. I didn’t buy it until a couple of days before we were due to go home, and I paid hardly anything on it too! It costs £28.00, but over there it only cost me €27.99, which I thought was pretty decent. A day later I went back to the electronic shop I bought the first game from and picked up a Cooking Mama game. I loved Cooking Mama when it first came out, so to be able to play a newer version of the series made me happy, and I paid even less for it than Style Boutique. It only cost me €21.99. I didn’t bring the games boxes back to the UK with me, instead I just bought the game chips with me, which is of course what you can spy in the picture above.

In the part of the island we live in/stayed in they have their market every Tuesday and Saturday from 10am until 2pm, so we had to go and have a quick mooch around before we were due to come home. We went on the last Tuesday we were there, and within an hour we were done looking around, and buying things for ourselves, as well as for other people. I bought myself a little something, and my dad bought me and my mom a few things too.

• Black Baggy Genie Pants/Trousers

This is what I ended up buying for myself. I saw one of the waitresses wearing some pants similar to these, and I fell in love with them, so I knew I had to find myself something similar. These were only €10.00 which is cheap as chips! I wish I had bought another pair now, but alas I left it to just one pair. I wore them loads the last couple of days we were on holiday, and I knew I would be bringing them home with me. They’re pretty thin so they’ll be good if I just want to quickly pop out to run errands, and especially great for summer days, and evenings out with friends.

• Rainbow Scarf

This was another purchase from the market, and one my dad bought for me. He wanted to buy my mom something nice to bring home for her, and the only thing he could think of getting her was a scarf. You could buy one scarf for €7.00, or two for €20.00 so he offered to get me one too. I couldn’t really find much I was after, but when I spotted this scarf I knew I had to have it. I used to love anything with a rainbow pattern on, have done since I was a kid. I don’t know why to be honest. Since getting home I’ve been wearing this scarf for my new job, and it’s really lovely.

• Michael Kors Small Riley Satchel in Navy

I didn’t buy this, but it was a gift from my parents, bought whilst me and my dad were on holiday. It’s an early Christmas present, and I would have bought it myself but it was pretty expensive, and since buying all my Christmas presents before I went on holiday I was pretty skint… This bag was really cheap too, and before anyone assumes it must be fake it is NOT. It is very much real. This originally cost €294.00 but with 30% off it went down to €210.00. This in pounds made it £152.00, a complete steal for a Michael Kors bag, especially when this is meant to cost £260.00 (in John Lewis) it was a really good price! So far I’ve been using it since the last couple of days of holiday, and so far at work and I love it. It’s a small bag, but it fits loads in there, and it fits in all the things I need and that’s it! I picked it up in the colour navy, even though they had it in a nude shade too. I would have loved it in red or purple to be honest, but beggars can’t be choosers and quite frankly navy is gorgeous anyway! I will be writing a post about this bag before the New Year, so keep your eyes peeled for it.

But that is all I picked up whilst I was on holiday! I don’t think I did too bad to be perfectly honest, as I could have bought more. I did also buy some presents for my mom, and a couple of things for my boyfriend, and my friends.

I had a lovely holiday though, and being able to treat myself after graduating from university was really good to do.

I doubt I’ll be treating myself anytime soon… Well maybe not until the Boxing Day sales anyway, or my birthday!

Naughty Nintendo Purchase & Wish List

Ahem (seriously this is the only way I can start this blog post!) I know I mentioned recently on a post how I was on a spending ban, so the fact I’ve spent quite a bit of money on this purchase is extremely naughty of me… BUT I HAVE MY REASONS… Don’t look at me like that, I do!

By the way I just want to get this out there that I KNOW the pictures for this post aren’t the best. It was late when I took the pictures, I was rather stupid due to being sleepy and didn’t use flash. Next time I shall… Or just take the pictures in the day time… Or get some bulbs put into my bedroom lamp as out of three only one works. :S

ANYWAY!

I’ve wanted a Nintendo 2DS for quite a while now, well since they released it in October 2013, the same date that they released Pokemon X and Y on the Nintendo 3DS and 3DS too, which I’ve wanted ever since it was announced. As well as this I’ve been a huge fan of Nintendo since the age of 5 when one of my brothers gave me his Game Boy after buying a PlayStation and shortly after this my oldest brother gave me his Super Nintendo Entertainment System (SNES) when he bought himself a PlayStation too! As well as that, like most kids from the 90’s, I’ve been hooked on Pokemon ever since it came out!

The reason why I’ve never wanted or bought a 3DS is because the 3D makes me really dizzy and sick, plus I can’t stand the whole con of it that you pay so much money for a handheld console and you don’t even get the charger for it, you have to buy it separately! Piss take, much?! Plus the 2DS is cheaper and I like cheaper… Especially when it gets the charger with it, as well as an SD card!

So, what caused me to take the plunge and finally buy myself a Nintendo 2DS? Well I’m going to tell you, of course!

A few weekends back my boyfriend and I went to GAME with loads of his old games that he wanted to exchange for a GAME gift card, which in the end turned out to be worth just over £100! So after he received his gift card, he pondered on what to use it towards. He had two choices, buy a Nintendo 2DS bundle, which included Pokemon X or Y, a carry case, and of course a 2DS, or he could have opted to use the money towards South Park: The Stick of Truth.

He knew how much I wanted to get the Nintendo 2DS bundle for myself and as I’d had a crappy evening the night before and was paying for it with a vile hangover, we decided to both go for it and both went back into GAME to buy a bundle each. They weren’t exactly cheap at £139.99 each, but technically it wasn’t too bad seeing as the 2DS was £99.99, Pokemon X and Y (at the time, the prices have been reduced since) was £39.99, and the carry case was £7.99, so overall it should have been £147.97, so we saved nearly £10 by snapping up this deal! Nice one GAME!

As you can see from the images above I went for the White and Red 2DS, Pokemon X, and of course the red carry case to match my 2DS. My boyfriend went for the opposite with the Black and Blue 2DS, Pokemon Y, and the blue carry case.

I won’t lie, due to me being on a spending ban (which seems to have been forgotten about since the start of March!) I did feel bad about buying the bundle, as I am meant to be saving up, but my boyfriend knew about my worries and was lovely enough to lend me the money to buy the bundle. I’ve paid him back £100 now and I just have £39.99 left to go! AND as well as that, my savings haven’t even been touched, so that’s great!

So two weeks later I don’t at all regret buying the bundle and if anything I’m so damn glad that I did! I’ve been waiting months to play Pokemon X and now I’ve finally had the chance to, I can’t stop playing it and last weekend I picked up another game, Animal Crossing: New Leaf.

Since purchasing Pokemon X I’ve been playing it on and off and I’m pretty sure I’m not where near half way through yet! I know what I can say though, that I love this game so much and apart from the first hand full of Pokemon games (Red, Blue, Yellow, Silver, Gold, and Crystal), it’s my favourite game! The way it looks, plays and just the things that have been added and taken away, it’s just made this a perfect game to play and finally the makers of Pokemon have done it right.

I already know that whilst it isn’t beauty or fashion related, that I’ll be writing a review or at least a post about Pokemon X as I just love it so much and it still ties into the whole lifestyle theme my blog follows too.

As well as that since the weekend I’ve been playing Animal Crossing: New Leaf on and off too, which I have equally been loving! I’ve previously and still own Animal Crossing on both the GameCube and Nintendo DS and I loved playing both of those, but New Leaf is just a hell of a lot better! I can’t speak much about it so far on here as I’ve only been playing it a couple of days, but I can see me talking about in the future at some point.

I do plan on buying more games for my 2DS in the future so I thought I would share with you all a mini (are six games mini?…) wish list that I have complied together.

• New Style Boutique – Style Boutique combines creativity and fashion with a collection of trendy clothes, chic accessories and stylish shoes. As the owner of a clothing boutique, you must purchase inventory, monitor the store’s funds and try to please a constant stream of customers who look to you for the best fashions.

I own the first Style Boutique game that game out on the Nintendo DS and it’s a nice little game to have as it’s fun to play if you love fashion like I do and want a game that will quickly pass the time. I’ve tried two of the demos for this game and I fell in love straight away so I need this in my life as soon as possible. You own your own styling boutique and style customers up in whatever clothes or accessories (or both) that they’re after. In this new version you also get to style men, which you couldn’t do previously. Like I said, I loved the first game so I need this one in my life.

• Nintendogs + Cats Poodle Edition – Nintendogs puppies are back in the palm of your hand on the Nintendo 3DS system, with even cuter and more expressive puppies and, for the first time, kittens! The fun from the original Nintendogs game returns, with multiple breeds to choose from, accessories for your puppies and kittens to wear, and the ability to let your puppies and kittens train and compete in different challenges and activities. Nintendogs + Cats uses the built-in Nintendo 3DS camera and facial-recognition technology to enable your puppies and kittens to react to your real-life movements, mimicking your head tilts and jumping up to lick you as you lean in.

Another game that I own the original of, but my original version is Nintendogs Labrador & Friends. I loved this game back in the day and as sad and morbid as it sounds, I bought it after my dog Magic passed away to somewhat fill the space that she had left behind, as I know you could get cute little toy poodles (the breed that she was) on this game. So with my savings I went and picked the game up, which I’m glad I did. I tried out a demo for the newer version and I loved it! The dogs look a lot more realistic and the little poodle on the poodle edition is adorable! I really can’t wait to get this so I can play more of the game, as the demo only allows you to pet a poodle and a breed of cat, as well as brush them, and play fetch with them.

• Hometown Story In a lush, green village tucked away in the countryside, you’ll reunite with old friends, meet new ones, and rediscover yourself. This is where you grew up, your hometown. You’ve been tasked with reviving your grandmother’s old shop, and have your work cut out for you. However, the more items you sell, the more customers will come to your shop. And as you manage your shop better, you can expand, and the village will prosper! As your shop begins to grow by selling more expensive and rare items, you’ll be able give these items to the different villagers that populate the town. Therefore, not only will running a successful shop net you gold, but it will also help reveal the unique stories each villager has. Something insignificant to most people might be the most important thing in the world to someone else! In addition, all the villagers in your hometown have their own unique stories. Which villagers’ stories will move you the most? And what will you do to help them? At times, you will be faced with some very important decisions. You’ll be free to run your shop the way you want to. Your experiences will be completely different from anyone else’s. By the end, you’ll have experienced so many unforgettable memories.

This game seems rather interesting and as it’s by the same creators as Harvest Moon (which I like somewhat) this does sound like a fun game to pick up if I fancy something new, but I won’t lie, it isn’t at the top of my wish list.

• Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Gates to Infinity – Discover the incredible 3D world of Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Gates to Infinity, where Pokémon speak and amazing adventures are always nearby! What’s more, you will become a Pokémon yourself! You’ll meet all kinds of Pokémon throughout the game, both in the towns you’ll visit and the Mystery Dungeons you’ll explore. Have fun exploring more than 20 dungeons filled with all kinds of Pokémon, treasure, and surprises! Each of the dungeons you’ll explore has unique characteristics, including the Pokémon you’ll find, the number of floors in the dungeon, and the types of terrain you’ll have to deal with. Some of the Pokémon you battle will offer to join your team, too! In addition to the dungeons you’ll delve into during the main story, you can use the Nintendo 3DS Camera to discover Magnagates – entrances to new dungeons—by scanning everyday objects around you! Join up with people nearby who are also playing Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Gates to Infinity to explore and battle through dungeons together! Up to four people can play at a time. You can play as any of the Pokémon on your team – you don’t have to battle as your main Pokémon character.

… I’m not obsessed with Pokemon… HONESTLY! I do rather like the Pokemon games though! They’re fun to play and to be honest new games are always coming out to do with Pokemon, which just fuels my nerdyness all the more! Out of all the Mystery Dungeon games (including this one) I only need two more, I’ve owned pretty much most of them and I don’t intend on getting rid of them anytime soon either. I love the Mystery Dungeon games as they have really good stories with them and it makes a change from the traditional Pokemon games, I can’t wait to give this Mystery Dungeon game a go!

• Harvest Moon: A New Beginning – Welcome to the wonderful world of Harvest Moon! A new life awaits you on your little farm! Boasting bright, bolder, cuter graphics and a bigger game world, A New Beginning offers more choice and freedom than ever before!

Years ago when I first received my Nintendo DS Lite for Christmas from my Dad, my brother bought me a version of Harvest Moon and only within the past couple of years did I really start get into it and progress with the story! Alas, I’m not a huge fan of the game itself, which is a shame as I did really try to get into it, especially as it was a present. However the new version of Harvest Moon for the 3DS sounds a hell of a lot better and GAME are selling it pretty cheap too, so if I fancy a new game and I’m low on cash, I think I’ll be picking this up. It’ll depend on my mood of course due to my feelings on the Harvest Moon game I currently own.

• Professor Layton vs Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney (not out until 28/03/14) – When the mysterious Espella is pursued through London by a bewildering force, she desperately seeks help from legendary puzzle investigator Professor Layton and his assistant Luke Triton. However, before the duo are able to work out what’s going on, Espella is suddenly kidnapped. While attempting to track her down, Layton and Luke encounter a strange book and are transported to the outlandish medieval city of Labyrinthia – a place allegedly inhabited by witches and magic! Meanwhile, defence attorney extraordinaire Phoenix Wright and spirit medium-in-training Maya Fey also find themselves teleported to Labyrinthia after discovering the same book during a business trip to London. When he realises that Espella is be put on trial as a witch, Phoenix decides to defend her in court. Hint Coins can be found dotted around Labyrinthia; if you’re in a spot of bother while trying a testing puzzle, buy a helpful clue to point you in the right direction. Alternate between two play styles and experience the best of both worlds to solve a supernatural case filled with twists and turnabouts. When the puzzle professor and the ace attorney unite, no conundrum can get between them and the truth!

This game isn’t out until the end of the month and at the moment it’s number one on my wish list. I’ve always wanted to play the Professor Layton games, but never got around to buying any due to how expensive they are! As well as that I rather like the Phoenix Wright games after trying one out on my iPad when my boyfriend I first started going out with one another. So for both games to come together is rather excited and I have been tempted to pre-order the game! I can’t wait to get my mucky paws on this!
