Pikarar – Review

Guys I’m back after a weekend off and I’m so excited to be sharing with you an independent artist/store that I fell in love with towards the end of 2020!

As regular readers (and followers of my Instagram) will know, I do really love to share independent artists/stores with you all. If anyone needs our support (purchasing wise) right now, it’s these guys! Plus, their designs are so much better. šŸ˜‰

I discovered Pikarar around October/November 2020 when Yapfrog shared one of Pikarar’s designs over on Instagram. It was a shiba version of K.K. Slider and was ADORABLE! I went over to her store to check out her work straight away and made an order. I also pre-ordered some goodies towards the end of November 2020 for the New Year. I’m already planning to buy from Pikarar again, but I wanted to talk to you guys about my experience (spoiler it was amazing!) as well as share the goodies I picked up. šŸ™‚

I first of all want to mention here that the store isn’t open at the moment, but I have reached out to Pikarar to find out roughly when it’ll be open again. At the time of publishing, I haven’t received an answer in regards.

Pikarar is based in America so I already hear a lot of you in the UK worrying you may not be able to order… I don’t think we have to worry! Granted, I avoided the VAT related issues that began at the start of 2021, but I’m still in the frame of mind that Pikarar will offer to ship to the UK, which is amazing!

I want to get this out there first, shipping was NOT cheap, but it was worth every penny for how bloody quickly everything arrived. Both my orders arrived to me a week after they’d been shipping and as I had tracking with both too I was able to track the process. šŸ™‚ I also didn’t get customs charges either, which was AMAZING! We all hate those, don’t we? I paid $20.00 shipping but personally this was worth every penny to me. šŸ™‚

On the website there is a section where you can preview what will be for sale, but these are view only images. There aren’t any prices at the moment I’m afraid. I can’t 100% remember how much I paid for some of pieces I bought either, which is frustrating so sorry I can’t give exact prices on some of the pieces I picked up. I’ll mention what the rough price is on some items and the actual prices on others.

One thing to mention here is any clothing you buy, Pikarar will send you an apparel care guide, aka how to wash them etc. You need to wash the clothing inside out in cold water. I hate hand washing stuff and with my dermatitis on my hand, it isn’t something I can really “afford” to do. Instead I opt for popping the pieces into my washing machine inside out on a lot heat for a short amount of time and I hang it to dry naturally. You can tumble dry low if you want to, but I don’t personally.

I really hope you enjoy this blog post today guys! Alongside talking about Pikarar’s designs and the pieces I picked up, at the end of the post I’ll also share the website again, as well as their social media. šŸ™‚

  • Eevee Crane Sweater – Between $45.00-$55.00.

This was the first piece I popped into my basket! I love Pokemon and I’d seen this item shown over on Pikarar’s Instagram page shortly after discovering them. As many of you know, I love Pokemon and Eevee and the Eeveelutions are one/some of my favourite Pokemon. I couldn’t pass this sweater up in all honesty, the cream brown colour isn’t a colour I have in my wardrobe either so it’s something new!

As you can see from the design, this is a crane machine but instead of plushies it’s full of Eevee’s and they’re all doing different and cute poses. My favourite is the one at the front in my middle who is pushing its whole body against the glass of the crane machine. All the designs are adorable though and whenever I’ve shown me wearing this on camera to friends, as well as photos on Instagram/Twitter people have always commented how cute it is!

I’ll be honest, when it arrived the little white patches where the Eevee’s are smushing their faces, hands and bodies against the glass I thought the little white patches were a flaw in the print. I reached out to Pikarar in regards who was really lovely and understanding of my confusion and explained what it was.

Alongside how cute the design of this sweater is, the sweater itself is so bloody comfortable! It’s super fluffy and soft inside, as well as being really warm. It’s definitely been worn and loved loads since buying it in October/November last year. The sizing is unisex and I went with an L. I can get away with an M no problem but I wanted something really big and baggy which this sizing choice has done perfectly.

  • Shiba Crane Sweater – Between $45.00-$55.00.

The shiba crane sweater is actually my favourite out of all the crane designs I own from Pikarar. Shiba’s are adorable and I don’t know anyone who doesn’t like the breed. After returning from Japan I’ve kind of fallen in love with the dog breed more and more often now than before if I see a design of the breed I like, I may go for it. This shiba crane sweater included.

It’s the same sort of design idea as the Eevee crane sweater but with shiba dogs on it instead. I actually prefer the shiba design due to some of the poses the dogs are in. They’re very similar to the Eevee’s but there are some minor differences and such. My favourite shiba dog is squished by the drop/win section of the crane game. It’s little face is squashed up against the glass and it looks a little fed up.

I went for this gorgeous baby pink colour for my sweater. Pink isn’t a colour that you’ll see often in my wardrobe, so it’s nice to have some variety. I wear this sweater quite a lot and it’s fast become one I reach into my wardrobe for when I want to wear something warm and comforting.

When I recently went for an eye test at my opticians one of the women who worked there commented how cute this design was and asked me where it was from. I love clothing that can become a conversation starter, especially if people know of the artist whose pieces your wearing, or if they love that animal, character, game, etc.

Like the Eevee crane sweater, the sweater itself is so bloody comfortable! It’s super fluffy and soft inside, as well as being really warm. It’s definitely been worn and loved loads since buying it in October/November last year. The sizing is unisex and I went with an L. I can get away with an M no problem but I wanted something really big and baggy which this sizing choice has done perfectly.

  • Shiba Samurai Sticker – Between $2.00-$5.00.

I actually bought this sticker for my boyfriend as since he bought himself a laptop in the summer last year, he’s started to pop stickers on it for fun. I saw this shiba samurai sticker and thought he would love it. I haven’t allowed him to stick it on his laptop yet as I wanted to show it off to you guys first! šŸ™‚

As you can see it’s a black and white sticker of a shiba holding two katana style swords and looking a mixture of cute, serious, and ready to fight! I knew my boyfriend would love something like this. There was also a sweater with the same design on that I contemplated buying him for Christmas, which I didn’t in the end. I’d still like to pick this up for him in the future, or maybe even for myself as it’s such a cool design!

The quality of the sticker is really good too. It has a matte texture and it feels lovely and thick, so you know it’s going to last a long time on whatever you decide to stick it against!

It’s nothing to do with the design but I wanted to mention here that whenever you buy a sticker Pikarar pops it in a cute little envelope, alongside with a thank you care and your apparel care instructions, if you’ve bought any.

  • Shiba Good Girls Hoodie – $55.00.

This was one of my pre-order items and one of the items I’d wanted to snag the first time I made an order with Pikarar. I missed out, but I was happy to wait for my pre-order. I went for the mustard yellow/gold colour hoodie and the “Good Girls” slogan on the back and arm of the hoodie. You could also choose black and the “Good Boys” slogan. I don’t have a mustard yellow/gold hoodie and whilst I was anxious to wear this bright a colour, I knew I’d be able to pull it off. Since it arrived last month I’ve worn it quite a few times now. It’s been my go to hoodie for when I want to look and feel cute, but I don’t want to be too warm.

There is a shiba design on the back where it’s wearing a black hoodie and underneath it says, “Good Girls” alongside with “Pikarar”. The shiba looks so cute and happy as it’s smiling and it sort of reminds me of the shiba cafe we visited in Harajuku, Japan last year. The hiragana on the arm reads something along the lines of “good”. I did work out what it said the first couple of times I wore it, but I’ve since forgotten. 😦

This hoodie isn’t as thick as I thought it was going to be, which I first thought was going to be a problem. Thankfully this isn’t the case and it’s actually been a great hoodie to throw on when I want to be warm, but not super toasty. It’ll be a great hoodie to wear for spring, cooler days in summery and autumn and winter days when I want to wear a long sleeved shirt underneath. This hoodie is also a little see through… Which is annoying from someone who wears a lot of dark t-shirts… This being said it could be worse. I picked this up in a size L, as like the unisex sizing for the sweatshirts this is nice and baggy. šŸ™‚

I actually have a defect on the hoodie from where Pikarar has printed the design on the sleeve. There’s a green/black mark near the hiragana which I reported to Pikarar who has been kind enough to offer to send me from free stickers and a discount code when the store opens. At first the offer was for me to send the hoodie back to her and she would send a replacement. That sounded like it was going to cost Pikarar a lot of money, so I suggested a discount instead to make things easier and less faff.

  • Pikachu Crane T-Shirt – $25.00.

The final piece I bought and own by Pikarar (so far anyway…) is the Pikachu crane t-shirt. I decided that I needed the other Pokemon crane design in my collection, but I wasn’t quite sure I wanted another sweater. A part of me regrets not getting the sweater, but at the same time I don’t. It’ll be good to have a t-shirt to wear in the warmer summer months.

This t-shirt is also the same colour as the shiba good girls hoodie, so that mustard yellow/gold colour. I wasn’t feel as anxious about wearing such a bright colour with a t-shirt as it can always be styled with a darker pair of jeans or a skirt. This being said I actually really love the colour and both pieces have received lots of compliments during work calls!

The Pikachu design on the t-shirt is really cute and is very similar to the Eevee and shiba designs. Unlike the other designs, I can’t pick one Pikachu that I love and adore more than the others. The Pikachu’s in this design are all so sweet and adorable to look at! The one in the claw about to get won is pretty adorable, but so is the cutie at the front pressed up against the glass. I’ve really loved wearing this design. I picked this up in a size L, as again like both the sweatshirts and hoodie this is a unisex size. I could have gotten away with an M in this, but glad I got the L for that slouchy, comfy fit.

It’s adorable and out of the three this one reminds me of my childhood the most. Hot summer days during the school holidays and miserable rainy weekend days me and my dad would venture to a local town in the countryside where there are loads of arcade games to play! We’d pay the claw games and he’d win me teddy bears. One year he won me a fake TY bear that looked like Harry Potter. I cherished it for years and it’s still in my parents house somewhere. I think that’s the last time he won me anything on the claw games before they got “rigged”. I have to say, when the world starts to go back to normal, I’d love to go there with my dad for a day out together. It would be my treat and we could play arcade games, grab fish and chips and just have a fun day together. šŸ™‚

I would love some other things in this design, including a mouse mat if that’s something Pikarar would look into doing in the future.

That’s everything I picked up from Pikarar though! I’m really excited for when she opens her store again to potentially grab a few more pieces and maybe even snag some goodies for my boyfriend for his birthday in April!

Overall I’m so happy with everything I’ve bought from Pikarar so far! Her designs are so unique and adorable. I just want to snuggle and squish all the cute animals she draws. I’m really excited to see what she comes out with next. I know she recently announced she’s creating a sticker Patreon soon so if you’re interested make sure to follow her on Instagram.

The same goes for when Pikarar announces when she will be opening her store. Following her on Instagram for updates in regards is the best place to be. šŸ™‚

I’m going to pop Pikarar’s links down below for you, including their store as well as social media.

Sugar Bunny Shop – Review

I’ve mentioned a few times now on my blog (as well as social media) but in December I went very shop happy and not just because I had Christmas presents and sales goods to buy.

It was announced by the government that there would be changes made to the VAT and how it’s treated on overseas goods sold to UK customers. Due to this a lot of independent stores/artists in America had to say no more to selling to the UK from 1st January 2021. I was gutted as more and more stores/artists I wanted to buy from announced no more sales in 2021 to the UK, so I went shopping. Sugar Bunny Shop was one of the stores I bought some goodies from and I had to share with you what I bought, as well as a bit of a back story in how I discovered Sugar Bunny Shop and why I’m glad, but also gutted (due to the VAT stuff) to have finally bought from them.

Before I talk more about Sugar Bunny Shop, I want to just address the VAT related issue here for people in the UK who may want to order. I did reach out to find out more information in regards to what may be set up/happen in the future for people in the UK looking to order. I know some American stores are looking to open Etsy stores for UK shoppers, as well as discuss further options etc.

Sugar Bunny Shop/Samantha did in fact reach out to me in regards to my query. I want to thank Samantha for taking the time to reply to my email and for how lovely she was too! šŸ˜€

Unfortunately I don’t have a resolution to the UK issues at the moment. I’ve considered using Etsy, but the fees are so high it’s not an ideal solution. I’m hoping the UK/EU will figure out some kind of solution to this for small businesses as they iron out the wrinkles in how the new VAT system works.

I wish I could offer a solution so that any of your readers could immediately order stuff if they wanted. My best suggestion is to recommend they maybe follow the shop on social media or sign up for the newsletter to be notified in any updates regarding UK orders.

I’ve known about Sugar Bunny Shop for years, I feel like it’s been since around 2011, so for the almost ten years and it’s only in 2020 I actually finally made an order. This being said, this isn’t the first time I’ve had something from Sugar Bunny Shop. Back in 2014 my boyfriend bought me a Doki Fox sticker sheet (which I spoke about here). He didn’t buy it direct from Sugar Bunny Shop (think he said it was on Crunchyroll’s store?) so when I opened it and said, “Oh my God! How did you know I loved Doki Fox?” He was taken by surprise.

Over the years I’ve been really interested in the Doki Fox original character, as well as a red panda original character called Ponwan. I’ll pop a little bit below about Doki Fox. I love that Sugar Bunny Shop wrote a little blurb about the cute fox character she’d created!

Doki Fox - Kawaii li'l Dumpling Fox

Silly li’l dumplin’ fox, Doki is a cheerful ball of fur that can’t contain his joy for pastries!

This plump little fox is cheeky, playful and so very fluffy! Small, dumpling-shaped chicks are his best friends and they love to follow him around, though sometimes he confuses them for real dumplings. Especially when they mingle with his food. He would never eat them, of course! But when he’s stuffing his face too quickly he sometimes discovers the taste of feathers. P’tooie!

Eating and sleeping are Doki’s two favorite hobbies, and he can often be found napping contentedly with his peeps after stuffing his tummy with tasty food. Aside from snacks and sleep, this wee fox enjoys soft grass and warm sunshine, which is the perfect spot to laze the day away.

Although dumplings are his favorite food, he also enjoys trying all kinds of other treats as well.

Text and image of Doki Fox taken from Sugar Bunny Shop

Doki Fox has been through some design changes over the years and doesn’t look as chibi as he used to. That being said, he’s still absolutely adorable and I’m glad to finally own a piece of clothing and some more stickers with Doki Fox on!

Short story behind my main reason for ordering from Sugar Bunny Shop. I asked Dane if he would be able to buy me the Doki Fox sweatshirt for me for Christmas/birthday and I’d somewhat hoped he had. Christmas passed and the size of the sweatshirt I was after came back into stock. I’d asked Dane in passing if he’d bought it for me and he said no. I rushed to the Sugar Bunny Shop website and got my order in for the sweatshirt, as well as some stickers! A part of me regrets not ordering more, especially as I’m unsure when I’ll be able to buy from Sugar Bunny Shop next…

  • Doki Fox Chick Pile Sweatshirt – $55.00 (link)

This sweatshirt is gorgeous in every way shape and form. I remember when it was announced around autumn time in 2020 and I fell in love with it. The design, the colour, the autumn vibes and most of all that it’s on a sweater! This is a dark brown sweater that is so fluffy and soft inside and makes me feel like I’m wearing a cloud of marshmallow! The sleeves has yellow and orange autumn leaves on, which I love. Autumn is my favourite time of year, so this is already perfect for me! Of course on the front we have the Doki Fox design – he’s lying on his back with a cute little smile on his face and is surrounded by his dumpling chick friends, who look to be really happy to be around Doki Fox. There are more orange and yellow leaves surrounding them, which I like. The design is just so adorable and it makes me smile whenever I see it.

  • Doki Fox and Chicks Vinyl Sticker – $4.00 (link) and Doki Fox Playful Vinyl Sticker – $4.00 (link)

I decided to order myself some stickers from Sugar Bunny Shop as I’ve become a bit of a sticker hoarder lately! Of course I couldn’t resist the Doki Fox stickers and both of the designs I bought are adorable. Both stickers feel like amazing quality due to the thickness, as well as the matte finish. I don’t mind shiny stickers, but I do prefer matte sometimes. The first design is of Doki fox lying on his belly and surrounded by his little dumpling chick friends. It’s such a sweet design and makes me smile! The second design is Doki Fox on his own, lying on his back, with his front and back legs in the air in a playful position! Both stickers are adorable and I regret not ordering two of each.

So that is everything I picked up! I regret not ordering more to be honest, so just wanted to share below just a few of the items I wish I could have picked up.

  • Red Panda Ponwan Parfait Vinyl Sticker – $4.00 (link)

I had so many regrets not buying this sticker and it was only JUST AFTER my items had been dispatched that I noticed it! NOOOO! Red pandas are one of my favourite animals and I swear, Sugar Bunny Shop has designed this so perfectly too, from how happy and fluffy the Ponwan is, to how yummy the parfait Ponwan is holding looks. I hope that Sugar Bunny Shop designs more Ponwan goodies in the future. šŸ™‚

  • Lavendeer Fawn Floral Sweatshirt – $55.00 (link)

I don’t so much as regret not buying this sweatshirt, but it would have been awesome to have picked up considering how lovely my Doki Fox version is. This is something I’d definitely love to pick up in the future if possible. I love and live in sweatshirts, especially since working from home due to COVID. I love the colour purple and the Lavendeer Fawn design is so damn pretty!

  • Doki Fox Playful Bee Unisex Shirt – $25.00 currently on sale for $22.00 (link)

If this hadn’t of been sold out in my size, I would have ordered. The only size that is currently left is an XS and that wouldn’t have fit me AT ALL! I’m really gutted I couldn’t pick this t-shirt up as Doki Fox is adorable. The design is more spring/summer than my sweatshirt design and has Doki Fox playing with a bee. It’s really cute and I hope (again) in the future I can pick it up, or maybe even another/newer Doki Fox design.

That is everything I regret not picking up and hope to in the future from Sugar Bunny Shop and with that we have come to the end of this review.

Overall I’m really happy with my order and I’m glad I bit the bullet and placed it. I’d have regretted so much not picking up that Doki Fox sweatshirt. I’ve already worn it almost a handful of times and it just makes me feel so happy to wear.

I’m going to pop Sugar Bunny Shop’s links down below for you, including their store as well as social media.

October Wish List ’20

Can you believe it’s already the second week of October, because I can’t!

So far for me October hasn’t been the best of months for me and I can’t see it getting much better. I mentioned in my September favourites how I’d recently experienced loss and had been grieving.

I’m also mentally and physically tired all the time lately and I really need to have a break from everything. I’ve got myself some holiday coming up in November and December which I’m looking forward to.

As well as that, I’m also rather looking forward to Halloween at the end of the month. I don’t feel like I’ve ever been so excited for it previously and I’m not sure why… Last year we played D&D and dressed up as our characters, but this year I think I’m going to cook a yummy dinner, snuggle on the sofa with Dane and either play some scary games, or watch some horror movies/tv shows we’ve never watched before.

For now, I am here today with my wish list and I’m not going to lie… I really struggled. It took me some proper digging to come across the items this month. There’s even one Christmas item and items that I’ve already added onto my Christmas ideas list for Dane.

Did I just say the C word? Yep… šŸ˜›

  • Sugarbones Nooks Cranny Shopping Tote – (link)

Sugarbones always creates such lovely designs and this is one of them! As regular readers of my blog will know, I LOVE Animal Crossing and since March any Animal Crossing fan merchandise that comes out makes me so happy. I especially love this Nooks Cranny shopping tote as it’s adorable and would definitely be eye catching if I was to buy and use it out and about. The size of the bag looks HUGE as well so this would be perfect to take for shopping trips, whether it be for geeky goods, clothes or food. I missed out on buying this when it was launched a week or so. I’ve added it to my Christmas and birthday ideas list for Dane. šŸ˜›

  • Sugar Bunny Shop Doki Fox Chick Pile Sweatshirt – (link)

I LOVE Sugar Bunny Shop but in the seven plus years I’ve loved the brand I’ve only ever owned one thing, which is Doki Fox stickers… Which Dane bought me for our second Christmas together in 2014. Since then I have eyed up loads of cute Doki Fox goodies from the store but just never bought, usually due to charges to ship to the UK and the fear of customs charges too. However, I feel this sweatshirt would be worth it. Regular readers will know how much I love foxes, so this is a must for me! Doki Fox covered in the little chicks is adorable! I could imagine wearing this with leggings or mom jeans for a comfy weekend look. I would love for Dane to buy me this for Christmas… But if he doesn’t I’ll definitely end up buying it for myself! šŸ˜€

  • MelonDesignByEllen Halloween Ghost and Pumpkin Keyrings – (link) and (link)

I’ve actually ordered these since writing this blog post as they’re so bloody adorable and I couldn’t resist! I think these will be going on my car keys as I know they won’t get bashed around as much as my house keys will. Or maybe even one of my bags as a little charm? These are cute little Halloween ghost and pumpkin keyrings that are handmade by Ellen over at MelonDesign on Etsy. These were Ā£10 each which I feel is such a great price when they’re made by hand! I honestly can’t wait for them to arrive and hope to show them to you at the end of the month… šŸ˜€

  • Mermazing Baths Advent Calendar – (link)

I know December is less than two months away BUT it’s good to be prepared when it comes down to advent calendars. As soon as they come out in the shops, me and Dane usually pick a chocolate one up for ourselves (each of course!) as they soon sell out, so we never want to miss out on getting something good. The same can be said for beauty advent calendars for me. In 2018 I owned so many it was crazy, but last year I only owned one. I’ve really gotten back into my bath and shower beauty and have discovered so many indie brands, including Mermazing Baths. They have an advent calendar out, which I’m definitely going to pre-order when I get paid at the end of the month.

  • CraftyWitch Craft Shop Ghost Tray Mould – (link)

If any of my readers follow me on Instagram and Twitter you may have seen that I’ve started to experiment with resin again. I had played with it back in March/April just after lockdown started but I stopped not long after. I recently bought some more moulds and Dane did too so we’ve both been having a play! I’ve really gotten into it and would love to make more in the future. However, I would also really love some more moulds to play with and potentially sell too! I’d love the ghost one shown as it would so much fun to play with and even have some in my house! I’d make some for me to keep things on, sell to friends and gift.

  • Teddy Fresh Color Block Hoodie – (link)

Finally we have an item on here that I really do want at the moment and that is one of the colour block hoodies from Teddy Fresh. If you haven’t heard of Teddy Fresh they are a brand by Hila Klein, who is also a co host on H3 Podcast on YouTube. This colour block hoodie has been spoken about loads lately due to H3 Podcast accusing someone of copying their hoodie… Which I agree with. Due to this I have been seeing the hoodie more and more lately and now I want it! The colour scheme is really cool and not like anything I own. It would be cool to have something like this in my wardrobe to wear around the house, as well as out and about. I have lived in hoodies throughout 2020 and this is no exception. It’s not a cheap hoodie to buy and ship to the UK… So this has definitely gone onto my Christmas/birthday list. I’m keeping my eye on a European store for this hoodie colour scheme to come back in stock, as well as places like eBay and Depop too. šŸ™‚

So there you have it guys, those are my wish list items for October! I can’t see me buying from it now aside from the advent calendar. šŸ™‚

What items do you guys have on your wish lists? Anything similar to myself? Make sure to let me know in the comments down below!

Until next time guys, I hope you all have a lovely weekend and take care. šŸ™‚

Redbubble Sweatshirts and Stickers Haul

If there is one thing I have been doing during lock down, it’s shopping… Shop, shop, shop! I honestly don’t know how I have been able to save money up! In all fairness, I don’t like to think I’ve spent a stupid amount of money, but I have been buying things I want and to be honest I have zero regrets.

As I’m not going out due to lock down and only spending a few nights a week talking to friends online, I’ve been on my laptop most of the time. During these times I’m either doing blog work, watching things on YouTube, browsing social media or buying things.

Not only have I browsed wish lists I have saved on my browser, but also wish lists I have on Etsy, eBay, EMP and finally Redbubble, the store I will be talking about today!

I wanted to share with you the goodies I recently bought from Redbubble as I’m so damn happy with everything I bought for various reasons, as well as sharing with you all the amazing customer service I experienced too.

I hope you enjoy this weeks blog post, it’s been a while since I shared a haul with you all (I’m a poet)! šŸ˜€

I made three orders with Redbubble, which sounds like a lot but this isn’t the case… I didn’t go shopping mad, I promise! Something happened to the original order I made and I complained to customer service about it.

I ordered the first sweatshirt I am going to talk about, alongside with some stickers. I ordered a men’s size L for the sweatshirt as I planned to wear it really baggy. I own a sweatshirt by One In Hundred that’s a men’s size L and it fits really comfortably. I wanted that feeling again.

The sweatshirt arrived and it looked amazing! The design was just as cute in reality as it was on the images on the website, however the size didn’t look right. I checked the tag which read M. In my head I began to worry it might not fit me, which wasn’t the case at all. If anything the M was a nice size, with the amount of baggy I had expected from the L. Even though I was happy with the M, I wasn’t happy with the fact I was sent the incorrect size.

What if this had been a gift for someone? What if it didn’t fit me? There are more what ifs here too, but those were the two that went through my mind.

I reached out to Redbubble through Twitter and an emailing service on their website to make a complaint/raise my concerns. I have to say, it is not easy to get in touch with Redbubble via email. You have to search for a certain topic and in the end I went for the “Have a query before you order?” option so I could free type an email instead of picking from options.

I always usually go to Twitter first as it’s easy to access and companies often reply quicker via social media. I didn’t expect to hear back from someone via Twitter and email. They offered me not one but two full store vouchers (which I chose as I was offered a full refund too) as an apology for what happened with the sizing. I was pleasantly surprised at this, as I didn’t expect anything considering the size I was sent fit me. Redbubble dealt with my complaint quickly and were really lovely about it.

I’ve been shopping with Redbubble for almost 10 years now and never had a problem until now, so I wasn’t really mad about it. Their customer service is amazing and I honestly cannot recommend Redbubble enough. I love them for the fact you are supporting artists who want to get their designs out there on/as clothing, stickers, phone cases, wall art, home & living pieces, accessories, stationary, gifts and more. It’s one of my favourite places to shop for certain pieces of my favourite things and I cannot recommend them enough.

With the refunds I received I bought myself two more sweatshirts, as well as sticker for me and some stickers for Dane (belated birthday present). I’m not showing the stickers I bought Dane though.

Now, onto the goodies I bought! I’ll show the sweatshirts first and then the stickers.

The first thing I want to say about the sweatshirts is the ones I bought are men’s/unisex sizing and are really comfortable to wear. They’re a little oversized for me and inside they’re all really soft, which is something I always check for when I buy sweatshirts. If they aren’t soft inside, it will take something special for me to buy. I’m thankful these are soft and fluffy inside. They’re perfect for all year around when the weather isn’t very warm and during the wet weather in the UK at the moment they have been perfect!

  • AC:NL- Goldie and Cherry Pullover Sweatshirt – Designed by EpikBecky (link)

This is the first sweatshirt I bought and the one I had “issues” with. The Animal Crossing design on this is gorgeous and I have no regrets ordering it. My favourite type of villages are dogs and I currently have a grand total of four on my island, including Cookie, Bones, Lucky and Goldie. My boyfriend Dane has Cherry on his island. I love that two of our dog villagers are in this design and it makes me feel like they both went to one of our islands to visit one another and have fun together! I love Animal Crossing so much and I need more merchandise from the game in my life. I especially love the oatmeal colour of the sweatshirt as I find the neutral colour works well with the bright colours of both Goldie and Cherry. EpikBecky who designed this has so many more lovely Animal Crossing designs on her Redbubble store, including Molly the duck, Isabelle, K.K. Slider, Tom Nook, Flurry the hamster, Mable and Sable and Rosie the cat. They also have an Ice Bear design from We Bear Bears that I love.

  • Bee and Puppycat Pullover Sweatshirt – Designed by Kaitlynn Peavler (link)

This is actually one of the last designs I found, but one both Dane and my friends really loved when I showed them. I decided to pick it up with the first refund I received from Redbubble and I have no regrets. I went for the cobalt blue sweatshirt with this gorgeous Bee and Puppycat print. The design is inspired by one of the first scenes of episode one (not the pilot) where Bee reaches for Puppycat. It’s a gorgeous design and it’s the first out of the three sweatshirts I bought I wore. I wore it for mine and Dane’s anniversary with some black mom jeans. The cobalt blue compliments the colour scheme of the design. I love this so much and I already know I’ll be asked who the characters are when lock down is over.

  • Questions worth asking Pullover Sweatshirt – Designed by Destiny Gaubert (link)

This is one of the first Bee and Puppycat designs I found and I fell in love with the design straight away. Without revealing too many spoilers, this is from the end of season 1 of the show where Puppycat is asking Bee questions to get to know her better. The questions including, “What’s your favourite colour?”, “What’s your favourite food?” and “What’s your favourite animal?”. It’s a really lovely end to the show considering what happens in the last episode. The design again shows the start of the first episode (not the pilot) where Bee is reaching out for Puppycat. I love how it combines the start and end of season 1. I got this on a dark blue/navy sweatshirt and again, it works really well with the colours of the design. I can’t wait to wear this one, as I know it will get a lot of questions. This was the sweatshirt I picked up with the second refund I was given by Redbubble.

  • Dom Animal Crossing Shy Sticker – Designed by rottnmaggtz (link)

I have fallen in love with Dom in Animal Crossing. He’s a new sheep to join the game and he’s absolutely adorable. One of my friends has him on her island and I’m semi jealous… But at least I get to see him when I visit! So I decided to have a look for a Dom sticker whilst browsing through Redbubble when I made my original order. This was my favourite out of all the ones I found so I decided to order it. It’s a decent sized sticker to be honest and has a matte finish to it. I love the design as Dom is always seem as the bashful, adorable sheep with the rainbow tie dye t-shirt (it’s a scarf on the sticker). It’s just so precious and perfect.

  • Morgana Chilling Sticker – Designed by tetrablock (link)

This was another sticker I ordered with the first order I made with Redbubble. Do I really need to explain why I bought a Persona 5 sticker? šŸ˜› As a regular reader you will know how much of a fan I am of the game, as well as my love for Joker, Skull/Ryuji and Morgana, who are my favourites. I bought this sticker to pop onto my iPad case but I actually don’t have room for it, which is a shame. It’s tempted me to stick it on my laptop to jazz it up a bit, but I won’t be doing that as I like my laptop to look “professional”, if that makes sense? This stickers design is so cute though!

  • ACNL K.K. Slider Sticker – Designed by ncdoggGraphics (link)

I have had my eye on this sticker for almost a year now, (mentioned here and here) so I’m glad to finally have it! I ordered it when I made my first refunded order, alongside with some stickers I ordered for Dane as a belated birthday gift. This sticker is so adorable of K.K. Slider, especially with him saying, “Yo.”! This was another sticker I thought about sticking onto my laptop, but again, I want to keep it plain and “boring.” I would like this design on a t-shirt eventually, maybe even a notebook.

So, that is everything I bought from Redbubble recently! I bought so much stuff from there and don’t intend to buy anything else for a while now… Maybe later on in the year for clothing. It’s definitely an amazing place to go to buy things from games, anime, TV series, films and more that you love and are interested in, but that doesn’t have much merchandise around. A great example there is Bee and Puppycat.

Not only did I want to share you all the amazing pieces I picked up, but also what an amazing store Redbubble are, as well as how great their customer service is too. šŸ™‚

Have you ever shopped with Redbubble before? If so how was your experience? What do you think of the sweatshirts and stickers I picked up? Finally, were you aware of Bee and Puppycat before this post?

Make sure to let me know answers to my questions and more in the comments!

Until next time, take care and stay safe all!

Pokemon Center London – My Experience & Haul

This is a post I am writing literally 3 hours after I have arrived back home from our short trip to London… I am tired, unsure of what to do with myself right now and kinda poor. šŸ˜› If you haven’t gathered from the title, I went to the Pokemon Center in London with Dane and we bought some stuff… A lot of stuff as a matter of fact.

I wanted to talk about my experience of the Pokemon Center in London here on my blog, because not only have I been excited for this pop up store to come to the UK (as mentioned in my October wish list hereĀ as well as on my October Newsletter) but I am also a MASSIVE Pokemon fan and have been since 1999 when the first generation gamesĀ  came out in the UK.

So when I heard that we would be getting a Pokemon Center here in the UK, I knew I had to go… However there has been some ups and downs with this since it opened on the 18th October, which is over a week ago now. It shuts on the 15th November, when the new Sword and Shield games come out.

I went yesterday on the 28th October and I’m going to tell you all about it, including the good, the bad and the annoying. I’ll also be showing you what both me and my boyfriend Dane bought too… Because I just HAVE to show you all the awesome goodies we bought!

As you know as my reader(s) I’m from Birmingham and the Pokemon Center is in London. That’s either a 2 hour train or car journey to London for me. We did at first book a hotel and plan to leave early on the Monday to go and start queuing for the Pokemon Center at 5am… This plan didn’t wash with both me and my boyfriend though. We felt it was a waste of a hotel payment when we weren’t even sleeping in the room we’d paid for for long. So we cancelled our hotel, got our money back and decided to drive down early on the Monday morning.

We toyed with the idea of going stupidly early and semi stupidly early in the morning. Eventually we opted to arrive in London for 5am to begin queuing. We both woke up at 2am to get ready and at 3am we left to make our way down to London. It was a lovely quiet drive and we spoke about all sorts on the way down, including what we planned to buy, whether or not we would go upstairs to play the demo of Pokemon Sword and ShieldĀ as well as other things.

Before we knew it we arrived! We parked in the Westfield shopping centre and made our way through the quiet and empty shopping centre to join the queue. As we got closer to the queue people were bring brought inside by the security, which was good! It wasn’t exactly warm outside! Not long after we joined the end of the queue we were also led indoors into the warm, which I was grateful for! We joined the queue and sat down to make ourselves comfortable, we were due a lonnnnng wait!

Food and drink wise we made sure to take plenty with us to keep us going for the wait. We took Red Bull and Lucozade, some sweets and we even cooked some pizzas for us to have for lunch… Which we ate half of for breakfast and the rest for dinner in the evening! It was so odd, but that pizza was so yummy yesterday morning. šŸ˜› Some of the restaurants and cafes open at 8am, but I did see some people leave the queue and later came back with McDonald’s breakfast.

We were waiting by Love Coffee, which I toyed with going to for coffee when it opened at 8am. We didn’t bother in the end however, as I was feeling really dehydrated and caffeine wasn’t something I was all that arsed about… Which is a shock for me!

Toilets were close by to where we were queuing all of the day and there was also some drinks vending machines too and were contactless payments, which was handy! I never carry cash. 😦 Security were amazing and if you don’t happen to be queuing as close to a toilet as we were, they’ll allow you to go and do your business and rejoin the queue when you return. Just make sure there is someone around to hold your space, or at least someone nearby who will remember you!

Entertainment… This is something you will definitely need to think about, especially depending if you’re on your own. No matter what time you join the queue, you will need to take some form of entertainment with you so that you don’t die of boredom! We didn’t take our Nintendo Switch in the end as I know Dane was worried about us being outside with it… What a shame we didn’t take it though as we were inside straight after we started queuing. I saw a lot of people playing their Switches together, as well as alone. We only took our phones for entertainment, which didn’t bother me too much, but I could tell that Dane was really bored!

If you don’t take a handheld games console with you, at least take a book and a battery pack for your phone! My phone didn’t go down to 10% until after we had left the Pokemon Center, which was good! But I know Dane’s ran low not long before we headed into the Pokemon Center.

Whether you’re going alone or not, both me and Dane regretted not taking earphones/headphones with us to tone out people talking and to kill some time as well… I made sure to connect to the free WiFi in Westfield as I didn’t want to eat into my data. I just regret it so much… It would have killed a lot of time as I could have binged YouTube videos and listening to podcasts.

I can’t think of anything else here in regards to what to plan for with waiting times… If you have any questions, just ask!

Something that annoyed me at this point of queuing was the amount of people who were taking up LOADS of space, when others (including us) were confined to hardly any space. If me and Dane both sat down next to each other we were practically on top of one another! A couple next to us had more than enough room to move over and give us more space, but the guy next to them wouldn’t move over. Behind that guy there were two guys and a girl who took up so much space. So much so, the guys were both lying down with their heads next to each other. It really pissed me off and they weren’t the only people don’t this. Security should have really nipped this in the bud, but didn’t, which pissed me off. I’ve posted the photo to show you guys what it was like. I’ve blanked out their faces but if you’re reading this who did this, shame on you.

Another thing that annoyed me was hearing people gossiping about stuff to do with the Pokemon Center that just wasn’t accurate or true. I could hear them telling people who hadn’t yet been (I have a feeling the person in question had been maybe once or twice) and what they were saying felt very scaremongering to me. I won’t mention what was being said as I don’t want to openly out someone, but it was frustrating me. I didn’t want to hear it, but I couldn’t help it. It was at this point I regretted not having some earphones/headphones on me… I don’t mean to sound nasty but I just want to be honest. I understand people sharing experiences or things they have read from the official Pokemon Center Twitter page, but to gossip about facts that are not true, is downright annoying…

A lot of people have mentioned online of how they have made friends with people in the queue, but sadly we just didn’t do this… We were tired, bored and hardly spoke to one another. Plus the people around us just didn’t seem that sociable.

Eventually around 8.15am we were moved forward and stood up for the remainder of out wait before entering the Pokemon Center. Security will keep you as bunched up as possible and don’t like you sitting at this point as it can take up more room! This was fine, but I was shattered. We were standing for 3 hours before we entered the Pokemon Center. I appreciated the sit down in the coffee shop we ventured to after.

Obviously we weren’t here at 8.15am! This was us at 11.15am.

Security were amazing! They were friendly to talk to, any questions you wanted to ask they were happy with answering and they made sure that people weren’t pushing in!

There were a couple of incidents where people either thought the queue started where we were and needed to be redirected and a few times people blatantly tried to push in. One guy was “on his phone” and stood at the end of the queue. Security asked him to move and leave and he was pretending to be on his phone, he blatantly wasn’t! He eventually got moved, but he clearly knew what he was doing was wrong.

Another great example of the security was how someone wasn’t feeling very well in the queue and they seemed to be having a panic attack. I think they were dehydrated and hungry, plus anxious so they were taken out of the queue to be sat and calmed down by security. Not long after we entered the store, I saw them in there. It was good to see they had perked up and been able to enter the store after queuing!

Please excuse my fat, tired, anxious face! šŸ˜›

Eventually after six and a half hours later we entered the store! We were greeted by happy staff at the front of the store, which was lovely! The store is tiny… Smaller than I thought it was going to be! It was really busy too, which was a shame because it meant I couldn’t “enjoy” the aesthetic of it as much as I had planned to.

For all the time we waited outside of the Pokemon Center, we realistically only spent 30-45 minutes in there. Crazy, right?

Wait… What is that pink thing on the back?

Mmm let’s look closer at that pink thing…

Would you look at that! It’s a lonely Ditto. šŸ˜› Honestly if it wasn’t for the fact both me and Dane had picked up our 5 items each, I would have grabbed this forever alone Ditto. šŸ˜›

Look… He’s still there. 😦 šŸ˜›

You go into the store and on the right you have the tills and on the left you have a section the Detective Pikachu merchandise and the new Galar starters. Still on the left you also have a mixture of the Galar starters again and some London exclusive merchandise.

We made sure to grab a London Pikachu plushie each! We kept one and we also bought one for a YouTube friend Found on Film, which I sent off today for her. FYI she paid for the Pikachu as well as the postage costs and I didn’t charge any extra for doing this for her. Yes, I am annoyed at people buying and selling stuff on eBay, but I don’t mind when people help out others.

Then you can go through a tunnel style part of the store to go to the back of the shop. On the left there was loads of Nintendo Switch stock for sale, including the Nintendo Switch and Switch Lite consoles, games and accessories for the Switch and Switch Lite. Next to that was a section FULL of various plushies, especially the cute Eeeveelution plushies! I toyed with the idea of picking up a Vulpix plush, but left it. I can always pick one up when I go to Japan if I really want one.

All along the right hand side were Pokemon Trading Card related merchandise and London exclusive clothing merchandise. I knew I wanted both of the London exclusive hoodies (one has a zip and one has a pullover) and when I went over to both of the hoodies in their sections there weren’t many sizes left! I made sure to grab XL’s in both and shoved them in my basket! I’m definitely not an XL in unisex, but I wanted to make sure that both of these fit me as I’d heard things about the sizes come up small. Plus, if Dane wants to wear the zip hoodie, he can, as it fits him too! šŸ˜€

Dane also picked himself up one of the white Pikachu pocket t-shirts too, which he quickly grabbed a bigger size in due to the sizing issues. I’m glad he picked that t-shirt up for himself!

Sadly I did not get ANY photos of this part of the shop, apart from me standing in front of the photo at the back. This was just due to how manic this part of the shop was… The only images I got were of the Eeveelution plushies. 😦

Then for the rest of our time in the shop we made sure to relax a little (we grabbed the bits we really wanted first) and have a nose around the shop. We ventured back over to the London exclusive items and picked up a poster, some stickers and I found some of the London socks thrown on top of the Galar starter merchandise, which I gave to Dane. The socks had actually sold out so we were VERY lucky to have found these!

We finally went over to the Detective Pikachu merchandise to have a nose at what they had. As regular and older readers will know, back in May this year I bought the lifesize Detective Pikachu plushie from Pokemon Center Japan (which you can see and read about here) through YY Kawaii and I still to this day love it! They were selling this plushie at the Pokemon Center in London, but it had sold out by the time I got into the store. However, they did have the smaller versions. I picked one of them up and instantly fell in love with it. It looked so happy with it’s face and it really did make me smile. I put it into my basket and Dane even picked himself up a little key chain version too! Now we have a big happy Detective Pikachu plush family! šŸ˜›

That was it! We were happy with all our purchases and headed to the till.

In regards to stock levels, when the queue closes for the day and any other updates in regards to the Pokemon Center, their Twitter page PokemonPopUp is the best place to go for updates! I constantly watched it whilst I was in the queue after the store opened at 10am for updates of what had sold out as we queued. For example I did toy with the idea of picking up the fleece blanket they were selling, but this sold out before we went in… Which I was gutted about! This being said, I’ll live. šŸ˜›

We decided to go upstairs to have a go at the Pokemon Sword and Shield demo, as whilst we’ve pre-ordered both the games I fancied having a look upstairs, take some photos and of course give them demo a go on a Nintendo Switch Lite. I’ve actually ordered myself the limited edition one forĀ Pokemon Sword and ShieldĀ which I’m excited about! So, I wanted to have a go on a Switch Lite to see what it was like.

One of my favourite parts of the Pokemon Center was actually the photo wall they had upstairs! You could pick up and hold one of the Pokemon that is going to be a part of the new generation and I decided to grab Grookey for my photo. This is the Pokemon I’m planning to choose right now for my starter! I have to be honest (and vain) and say how much I love the photos that Dane took of me here! I’m not as keen on the photo from downstairs in the Pokemon Center and same can be said for the one outside too. I don’t know why… I guess I look a mixture of tired, anxious and stressed due to the waiting and then how busy it was inside the Pokemon Center. Upstairs where the demos were taking place was lovely and chilled, which I enjoyed. šŸ™‚

The demo was fun, for the 10 minutes it lasted for. You were playing through one of the gym puzzles before you go and play the gym leader. I never got to finish battling the gym leader, but Dane did. We both loved it and enjoyed playing it on the Switch Lite! I plan to talk about the Switch Lite on my blog when it arrives next week (maybe the week after) by the way. šŸ™‚

Once you’ve started to go upstairs by the way, you will not be allowed to go back into the Pokemon Center… You’ll be told this as you’re about to go upstairs so make sure you’re happy with everything you’ve done before going to play the demo.

Then when we had finished the demo we headed downstairs for one more photo of the Pikachu in the window and headed to a coffee shop for a sit down, something to eat and drink and chilled with my favourite independent artists Chibi ShibbyĀ (check out her store here!).

Shibby kindly picked up the umbrella for me from the Pokemon Center when she visited the weekend it opened! Due to how busy it was I started to get anxious that I wouldn’t end up going. Not only that, but I also worried that when we did go, the umbrella (which at the time was the thing I wanted the most!) would be sold out too. It wasn’t when we went, but we couldn’t see it anywhere!

We sat and chilled with Shibby for a bit and before we know it, we were all ready to head off home. Two hours later we got home at 3.30pm. We were shattered for the rest of the evening, ate our leftover pizza from the morning and I even filmed a video of a live haul and feelings about the Pokemon Center on my Instagram page.

FINALLY I am going to show you the goodies I picked up, the prices and why I picked things up. You know, the usual stuff I say when I write a haul post. šŸ˜›

  • London City Pikachu Umbrella – Ā£29.00

This umbrella is really hefty and it feels like a “professional” one, if that makes sense? It’s an automatic spring umbrella too, so when you push the button on the handle the umbrella opens up. It’s a navy umbrella with a Pokemon Center London logo and Pikachu on, but it’s inside the umbrella where the magic happens! Inside it’s grey with all the different London Pikachu poses, as well as some UK related things a Pokemon inspired red postbox, a lamp post, green bushes, clouds and even an Eevee. I am beyond excited to use this umbrella, but also anxious as hell because if this breaks, I will cry! xD As I mentioned in the post, Chibi Shibby was kind enough to pick this up for me (of course I paid her for it).

  • London City Pikachu Scene Poster – Ā£10.00

This wasn’t something neither me nor Dane contemplated picking up but when I saw it on show in the store, I just knew I had to get it. It was shown to the public a week or so before the store opened, which I fell in love with! I know a lot of people thought it wasn’t anything special, but honestly I did really like it. Granted, they could have done more but in my mind if they had of done more it would have looked too much and then people would have complained about that. You know? So yeah, the print made me happy! This will eventually be put into a frame and put on the wall somewhere in our house! I would have taken this out of the tube to show you all, but I want to keep it in there until we decide to take it out and frame. Dane picked this up in the store.

  • London City Pikachu Socks – Ā£12.00

As I mentioned this was something I saw on the starter plushies and I grabbed them quickly for Dane! I would have loved to pick these up myself, but I feel like I had picked up enough stuff and I knew Dane would really like and get some use out of these. More so than I would have, for sure. I’m glad we managed to grab these considering they had been sold out. šŸ˜› These socks feel really quite thick and they’re also really long, which is awesome! I know for a fact Dane will wear these in the summer with shorts. šŸ˜› Dane picked these up in the store.

  • London Pikachu Hiding T-Shirt – Ā£24.00

This was originally a t-shirt I wanted to pick up, but left it as I wasn’t all that arsed considering I wanted the hoodies more. I was really happy when I turned around and saw that Dane had picked this up! I had read loads of people saying to pick up a size larger in the clothing as it seemed to come up smaller, which Dane did for this t-shirt. It fits him perfectly, but one issue we both have with it, is that it’s rather see through… This isn’t a problem, Dane can always wear something underneath it. šŸ™‚ This t-shirt is really cool and I’m glad he picked it up for that alone! The London Pikachu is hiding in a little pocket on the front. I love t-shirts with these pocket designs. šŸ™‚ Dane picked this up in the store.

  • Detective Pikachu Plush Key Chain – Ā£12.00

This little key chain version of the Detective Pikachu plush is adorable! Dane plans to keep it in his card, which I think is such a cute idea! A part of me was tempted to do this myself, but I don’t think I will do currently with my car. This is so soft and very small! They had loads of these left for sale, which isn’t a surprise. This would be cute to keep on an ita bag or a backpack, as it has this little clip so you wouldn’t need to worry about it falling off. šŸ™‚ Dane picked this up in the store.

  • Detective Pikachu Plush – Ā£20.00

I cannot tell you how bloody happy this plush has made me. As I am writing this post I am currently every now and then looking over at it, as it is peering out of the top of the bag with all the goodies in from the Pokemon Center. I cuddled with this a little last night as me and Dane chilled out in bed and I really enjoyed it. I sound like such a kid, but sometimes things like that really do make you feel like a kid again. I just love it’s little face. It just looks so perfect and happy! I definitely have the perfect plushie here out of the bunch… šŸ˜› I have to add here, I loved Sooty as a kid and not going to lie, I still love watching it now for the nostalgia and this plush sort of reminds me of Sooty due to the yellow colour and it’s cute little face. I think that’s one of the reasons it has made me so happy haha! I picked this up in the store.

  • London City Pikachu Poke Plush – Ā£20.00

Of course I had to pick this plush up… I’d have been crazy if I hadn’t. These sold out not long after we left the Pokemon Center (including the demo section upstairs) and I’m glad we were able to grab one. These were in pretty good stock when we grabbed ours, but this was something I wanted to make sure we grabbed first! I do not have a clue where I’m going to keep this little guy, but at the moment I am contemplating my manga cupboard, if not my cabinet that is full of Pokemon Center plushies from Japan. I love this plush, he’s got so much detailing to him and he’s just perfect! He has a bowler hat on, a Psyduck style umbrella, a tie that is covered in Poke balls and all around is pudgy and cute! He was well worth the Ā£20 I paid. šŸ˜› I picked this up in the store.

  • London City Pikachu Stickers (4 Stickers) – Ā£6.50

This was a random purchase and was a toss up between these and the greetings cards. I feel like if I’d have bought the greetings cards, I would have never used them… However with the stickers I’m planning on making a little scrapbook for our Japan trip, so I would like to stick loads of cute stickers I am accumulating together right now onto a scrapbook cover… OR do the same with a notebook for myself! I’m also planning on sending one of these stickers to someone in a Christmas card. šŸ™‚ I picked this up in the store.

  • London City Pikachu Crest Hooded Sweatshirt – Ā£65.00

This was something I REALLY wanted as I’d seen photos of it and it just looked really comfortable, different and it’s limited edition… Why wouldn’t I want it! I’m not a small girl and usually when I buy hoodies I pick them up in a L… A man’s L more often than not. I can rarely pick up clothing from the Pokemon Center’s in Japan due to the sizing, as Asian sizes are usually a lot smaller than ours are here in the UK. So getting genuine Pokemon Center clothes is rare for me (I say this but I do own one Flareon tee…) so I knew I wanted this. I grabbed an XL to make sure it was lovely and baggy and damn it is!

It’s a dark grey zip up hoodie, so this will be perfect if I’m popping out for a while and just want to throw something on quick. It’ll be perfect for work too whenever I have dress down days and in the summer when I want something light to wear on the way to and from work. On the back there is a gold photo of the London Pikachu, with the year 2019 and London. There is even Mew and Mewtwo on the back too, which I didn’t notice until just now! The hood also has all the London Pikachu designs in, which is amazing! Finally on the left side of the chest is a Pokeball logo. I cannot wait to rock this this week. It wasn’t cheap by the way, I know but this is limited and worth every fucking penny to me! As this is an XL Dane can wear it too. šŸ™‚ I picked this up in the store.

  • London Sweatshirt Black – Ā£55.00

This is the final item on this list and it wasn’t a sweatshirt I wanted originally, but the more people I saw sharing it and talking about it, the more I wanted it. I’m so pleased I picked this up and especially glad that I grabbed an XL in this too, although I feel like an XXL would have been better. This fits perfectly with a long sleeved t-shirt underneath, but I would have wanted it a teeny bit baggier… There is so much detail on this sweatshirt and for that I love it!

This is a black pull over hoodie, but it’s being called a sweatshirt with some yellow detailing in places. On the front on the left hand side there is a London Pikachu in a sitting position, which is adorable! This design hasn’t been on much merchandise alone, so I’m glad they did it on this sweatshirt. Below the pocket on the right hand side there is the coordinates of the Pokemon Center in London! Which is amazing! This store will never be there again (unless the petition actually works and Nintendo keep it permanently!) and it makes me feel cool to wear something like this. It’s just an awesome idea and I love it. It’s the main thing I loved about the sweatshirt. Then on the back there is a yellow Poke ball stitched on the left shoulder, which I didn’t notice until I tried the sweatshirt on and Dane pointed it out to me. I honestly love this and can’t wait to rock it during the colder seasons and especially in Japan!Ā I picked this up in the store.

I want to make a disclaimer here, I am in no way showing off how much I bought and how much I spent… I mean let’s face it, why would I show off how fucking skint I am now?! I saved up for the Pokemon Center as I planned to spend a lot of money and I have zero regrets. I am a massive Pokemon fan… No matter what and it’s not like it’s everyday that we get a Pokemon Center here in the UK!

I wanted to show prices so that if people were/are planning to go to the Pokemon Center themselves, at least they/you could see the prices for items. šŸ™‚

That was everything I bought anyhoo and now it’s time to wrap up this VERY long post…

So, what did I think of the Pokemon Center London? I have so many feelings about it that I will list below:

  • I loved the Pokemon Center London, even with all the queuing. I waited 6 and a half hours, people have waited a lot longer than I have so I cannot complain. Don’t get me wrong, I didn’t love queuing but before I knew it, we were going in!
  • I hated how busy it was inside. Some people were rushing around and grabbing what they wanted, whilst others were relaxed and taking their time. I was actually one of the people rushing to grab what they wanted, as I was worried I had travelled all that way to find all the stuff I wanted was out of stock. I didn’t want that worry!
  • I HATED how much anxiety I had in the run up to going, as well as moments before entered the store and even when I was in there.
  • BUT I loved the relief of when I got the goodies I wanted the most (two hoodies and London Pikachu).
  • If anything the thing I have hated the most from the Pokemon Center London is how selfish people have been. I’m not going to go into detail on my post but this store opening has really brought out how people can be.

This being said, I loved it. The child deep down inside of me was really excited for the pop-up store and I’m so pleased that both me and Dane went and we had a lovely time. šŸ™‚

Would I go again? No. Not at all. Honestly I don’t need to. I don’t even think I would go with a friend because I honestly can’t be arsed to queue again. šŸ˜›

If you are looking to head to the pop-up store yourself then I will pop all the information down below for you, as there is plenty to take in! šŸ˜›

The store is open from Friday 18th October until Friday 15th November 2019.

Opening times are – Monday – Saturday 10am – 6pm and Sunday 12pm – 6pm.

You’ll find PokemonĀ Center London at Westfield London, located at Ariel Way, Shepherd’s Bush, London, W12 7GF in the United Kingdom. The store will be fully accessible for guests of all abilities, and an elevator will be available for travel between floors. Taken from Pokemon website

Pokemon Center London Twitter – Make sure to read this for all the updates! They update it daily including when the store opens, when queuing ends, which products have sold out for the day and even have FAQ’s on there too.

So, are any of my readers planning to make a trip to the Pokemon Center London before it closes, or have you been already? Make sure to let me know in the comments below, including how crazy I am! šŸ˜›

Until next time, take care all and I hope you’re having a lovely week so far.

My Boxing Day Sales Buys

Christmas and New Year have both now come and gone and with that shops everywhere held their Boxing Day sales and now their January sales! I am now officially skint until next pay day and this isn’t just due to sales shopping, it’s due to bills AKA adulting. šŸ˜›

On Christmas Day and Boxing Day however, I did pick up a few little bits as I’d been after them for ages! I also picked up some goodies on my birthday when me and Dane went to town for the day. Like my what I got for Christmas post (which you can read here) I thought I’d show off what I managed to pick up in the sales too!

I hope you enjoy this post, I love nosing at what bargains people pick up!

The first things I picked up in the sales and these were both WELL BEFORE Christmas was two games!

The first one being Sims 4 Cats & Dogs on the PC. Me and Dane love playing Sims 4 and like in reality, we were craving a puppy/dog for our family to play with! So we decided to get one and although I haven’t had chance to play loads with the game, we have our puppy and we love it! The editing system for the game with the pets is amazing and I cannot wait to play more of it. The game should have cost Ā£34.00 but I picked it up for Ā£24.49. Not cheap, no but it’ll bring hours of game play for us both!

The second game I bought was one I actually asked for for Christmas and have been eagerly waiting for to see in the sales for quite some time, that being Persona 4: Dancing All Night on my PS Vita. It originally costs Ā£34.99 but I snapped it up for just Ā£6.49!!! I’m so chuffed I got it so cheap and was playing it Christmas Eve. My only issue with it so far is that the story mode has more story than actual game play, which is sort of annoying… I want to get my dance on! As well, not long after I bought this Atlus announced a dance game for both Persona 3 and Persona 5!!! AHHHH!!!! I cannot wait, I already apologise in advance for all the Persona spam I will be throwing around my blog this year.

The first thing I ordered in the sale was this oversized Kurt Cobain sweatshirt, which I’ve been lusting after since I first saw it in Fuerteventura back in September/October. Time and time again I’ve gone to order it, but always changed my mind last minute. Well, I’m glad I waited as I really did get this for a bargain! Originally Ā£29.99, I got it for Ā£12.99 and now it’s sold out! šŸ˜€ As readers of my blog will know, I’m a massive Nirvana fan so this is a must have item for me. It’s more of a casual dress so I’ll wear this with thick tights or leggings. Maybe even some mermaid print leggings. šŸ˜› I think the one I was sent is a bit of a dodgy piece though, as I’ve shown in the pictures the print hasn’t been put on the front properly. My only concern is there isn’t any care instruction tag inside and I’m sure by law they’re supposed to have one? To be honestĀ  I don’t care though considering how much I paid, but I would be pissed of I’d have paid the full price for it!

The second thing I picked up is another dress and again, one I’d been lusting after a while both for work and for casual weekend wear! This is another thing I’d wondered whether to order or not as the price dropped but then stayed that way for ages. It still hasn’t changed to be honest at the time of writing this, but when I got a special Boxing Day voucher, it saved me Ā£6.60! Originally the dress was Ā£41.99, went down to Ā£32.99 and I picked it up for Ā£26.39! BARGAIN! I worried about the sizing and went for the size which I thought would be for the best and it does fit really nice… BUT 1. It’s rather short which I think will be a worry when wearing it around the office and 2. With a normal bra on it doesn’t look quite right due to the fishnet showing everything off. With a bra it’s so comfortable to wear but I can’t go braless! I’d feel naked without wearing one! We shall see how it works out. šŸ˜›

This is actually something Dane ordered for me as part of my birthday present, but considering it was in the sale, I thought I’d give it a mention. It’s a Yankee Candle and it’s a Christmas one, Macaron Treats. My friend Sophie bought me a little jar of this last year for Christmas/my birthday and we only recently finished it. This was a bit of a surprise to me and it’s nice that he ordered it for me. On Boxing Day I did actually pop into my local Boots to have a nose at what I could pick up and they had a couple of these left. I didn’t buy one though as we have enough Yankee Candles to last us years! Alas, if Dane wants to buy me a Yankee Candle though, I wouldn’t say no. šŸ˜› This was originally Ā£23.99 and Dane snagged it for Ā£11.99! Boots did good with their Yankee Candle prices this year, considering Yankee Candle are charging the same price for a medium jar, this one he bought is a large jar!

Finally we have my last Boxing Day sale purchases and I’m surprised I managed to get them really. As many people will know Lush didn’t have an online sale this Boxing Day and I for one was gutted and pissed off (if you would like me to do a massive rant on my thoughts on Lush lately, let me know!!!) about that. When Dane asked if I wanted to go sales shopping the day after Boxing Day, I jumped at the chance! It wasn’t the first shop we ventured into but Lush was definitely a shop I wanted to look in. They hardly had any Christmas stock left apart from some naked body lotions, naked lip products and finally Santa’s Christmas shower creams, which is what I picked up. This was one of the items I was really hoping they’d have left as it was the number one thing I wanted to try this Christmas! I’d smelt it in stores weeks prior and fell in love, but resisted the urge to buy it due to the upcoming sales. I’m glad I waited now as I picked up 2 for the price of one! These weren’t cheap either at Ā£17.95 a bottle so I’m glad I got them half price instead.

It’s been 2 weeks since I actually drafted this post and since then I have picked up a couple more sales items, which isn’t anything special but I felt like it deserved to be added here!

I was after some new bras and on my birthday me and Dane popped into town for the day for a look around the shops and for some food. One of the first shops we went into was Victoria’s Secret and I’m so glad I did as I managed to pick up not 1, not 2 but 3 bras and all for Ā£14.00 each! I tried them all on too to make sure they fit okay and they were perfect. I can’t wait to wear them now to be honest, I’ve missed wearing a good fitting bra. šŸ˜›

Overall I am really happy with my sales goodies and I’m also glad I was good and only bought a handful of items. I looked loads online and found shit loads of stuff I wanted to buy, but left it as I either wasn’t sure, had stuff similar or the main factor, I wanted to save my money.

If there is anything I regret not getting it’s a Pandora ring I saw in the sale, but it sold out so fast I never stood a chance.

What did you guys pick up in the sales? Make sure to let me know in the comments and link me to blog posts!

Until next time, take care all and I hope you’re having an awesome New Year so far! šŸ˜€

November Wish List ’17

Only this wish list now and the next two will be Christmas and birthday ones, how crazy is that?! I’m actually a mixture of excited and bleh about Christmas at the moment and sadly this is due to money issues. That being said due to that this months wish list is going to be full of stuff I won’t be buying… BOO YOU WHORE!

Due to this, this months list isn’t a big one either and I actually really struggled with putting it together. I honestly wish I had money… 😦

  • Yuri!!! On Ice Logo Cardigan – Ā£41.99, currently Ā£24.99 (link)

I eyed up this cardigan on Crunchyroll ages ago but I didn’t quite like the price of it, but recently I saw it for sale on EMP and not only would it work out cheaper due to no import charges, but also it’s on sale at the moment which is always a good thing! I nearly bought this a couple of weeks ago but left it due to lack of monies. I love Yuri!!! On Ice, it’s such a heartwarming and lovely anime so it’d be lovely to own a piece of merchandise from the anime. I especially love the little pork cutlet bowl on the bottom of it. They would be great for layering up during the winter months!

  • Kat Von D Sinner’ Lipstick & Fragrance Travel Duo – Ā£24.00, currently Ā£21.60 (link)

I’ve been after the Sinner liquid lipstick shade by Kat Von D as it’s a gorgeous dark purple shade but I don’t know if it’ll come out as it’s own shade, or if it’ll always be a little limited edition style shade that comes in this travel duo. I’m not massively after this set, just the liquid lipstick so I wouldn’t want to pay nearly Ā£25.00 for it.

  • Ohayou Clothing! Sweet ‘Vee T-Shirt – Ā£17.99 (link)

I love Ohayou Clothing! they’re definitely my favourite independent store right now and one I recently picked up a new varsity jacket from! It has a cute Umbreon on, which just makes me really happy. So when Chrissy came out with this kawaii Eevee design I just fell in love with it! She’s so adorable playing with her 3DS and eating Pocky! I’d love this design on a sweater instead, but I feel like this tee would have a lovely relaxed feel to it and would work perfect with leggings or tucked into a skirt.

  • Bershka Oversized Kurt Cobain Sweatshirt – Ā£29.99 (link)

I saw this sweatshirt when I was in Fuerteventura and immediately fell in love with it! I didn’t buy it due to how heavy it was and also the fact that I could pick it up in the UK for the exact same price. It’d be great to wear with thick tights in the colder months and Dr Martens boots or even brothel creepers. I’d love to pick this up before my birthday to wear for then, but I may try and wait to pick it up in any sales… Ā£30.00 is a decent price, but of course if I can get it cheaper, I’ll damn well try! šŸ˜›

  • Elodie The Unicorn Ramen Bowl – Ā£24.99 (link)

When I saw that Firebox was stocking this ramen bowl I was seriously overjoyed! This bowl is by SmokoĀ a company whose designs are so adorable and I would honestly buy them all if I could afford it! šŸ˜› I remember eyeing up this bowl on their recent Kickstarter campaign, but due to how expensive it was going to cost me to buy AND ship the item(s) I wanted to back I left it. Now that Firebox is stocking it I know for a fact now that I can pick it up without worrying about paying loads of shipping as well as import! I love ramen and although I prefer to cook it “properly” it would be nice to have a cute little unicorn to eat it out of. šŸ˜›

  • Loungefly x Pokemon Eevee Mini Backpack – $78.00 AUS (link)

The final item on this list is the one I REALLY want but it is literally impossible to get right now… Not even due to money but because it would appear it’s an Australia exclusive… WHICH SUCKS! It’s hard enough being able to get hold of the Loungefly x Pokemon merchandise as it is, without making it even HARDER! So the only way I would get hold of this bag is by someone in Australia buying and shipping it over forĀ  me… Which sadly won’t ever happen! It’s just an adorable little backpack in a mint green shade, which is covered in little Eevee’s! I love the Eeveelutions so you can’t really go wrong with this backpack if you’re a Pokemon fan!

So those are my wish list items for this month! I know it’s nothing exciting, but to be honest most of the stuff I want I’ve either spoken about or I’ve popped on my Christmas wish list for Dane… He’s my personal Father Christmas! šŸ˜€

What items do you have on your wish lists this month? Make sure to let me know in the comments down below.

Until next time, take care all and I hope you have a lovely weekend!

September Wish List ’17

It’s September! My favourite month of the year and the month of our holiday! YAY! Due to that this months wish list isn’t anything special really and if anything is me adding some items I want to get as staples for my autumn and winter wardrobe.

This months wish list was really hard to be fair as I just can’t think of much I want right now. There’s just been a few big things I’ve wanted, but I’ll go into more detail about that as and when.

But no more chit chat, wish list time! šŸ˜€

  • Naketano Put The D On Me II Hoodie – Ā£60.38 (link)

I actually stumbled across this hoodie when shopping with Dane recently. Sadly it was TK Maxx and at the best of times it’s like a jumble sale so whilst I found one I couldn’t find anymore. Sadly the one they had left was too small for me. I looked on their website and sadly they didn’t have the hoodie in stock on their either. ARGH! I did get a note of the brand and looked online at their official website and discovered that Naketano are a German brand. The best bit being that they had the hoodie I wanted in stock on their own website as well as on Blue Tomato, which is where I found it. It’s a gorgeous navy hoodie with red stars all over. It has a cowl neck which means it’ll be lovely to snuggle into when the weather begins to get chillier. It’s not cheap though as you can see from the price, yet TK Maxx was selling it for Ā£29.99! I’ll be scouring local TK Maxx’s for this before I go on holiday.

  • Primark Pusheen Sweatshirt.

Primark are really upping their game with character clothing and merchandise and I would like to say I can’t get enough of it, but I haven’t bought any for ages! When I was out shopping with Dane I nearly bought a Marie sweatshirt but left it. I just want a cute and baggy sweatshirt to snuggle up in in my house whilst I do blog and house work. I didn’t see this when I popped in though and I had forgotten all about its existence until I looked on my eBay earlier. I wish I had looked for it now as I would have picked it up! I don’t know how much it’s meant to be from Primark itself, but on eBay it’s going for between Ā£18.00-Ā£25.00! Shit. I won’t buy this unless it’s from Primark itself.

  • Living Dead Clothing Aggretsuko Rainmaker – Ā£39.78 (link)

This brand is very similar to Black Milk Clothing and a lot of people argue about whether one or the other is better. I can’t really comment as I’ve not yet bought any pieces from Living Dead. I want to though and I have my eye on a few pieces (I’ll have to do a wish list in the future!). The one thing that I really like about Living Dead is the amount of geeky anime and gaming related pieces they bring out. They’ve had Studio Ghibli and Pokemon related pieces out in the past and I wish I had picked some up. But they currently have some Sanrio pieces up for grabs in the final chance area of the website which is the newer member of the Sanrio family, Aggretsuko! She’s a red panda who works a shitty office job and spends her time after work singing metal on karaoke to take out the frustrations of said job. They have a crop top with her on as well as the rainmaker which is what I want more out of the two. These like Black Milk aren’t cheap though and due to them coming from Australia, shipping isn’t either. I would rock this with black leggings and jeans in the summertime and a long sleeved t-shirt underneath in the winter. Due to it being discontinued I’m torn over whether to buy or not… I probably won’t though. 😦

  • Marks & Spencer Striped Round Neck Jumper – Ā£16.00 (link)

This is a jumper I keep seeing lately and it’s gorgeous for an M&S piece… šŸ˜› A lot of their clothing is designed for the older lady but this one is pretty nice and can be worn with all sorts. I’m really after a jumper that I can wear with my new skater skirt (which you can see here). I’m after wearing stuff like this throughout autumn and winter this year, so I’ll be on the hunt for lots of lovely jumpers to team up with the skirt.

  • Disney Store Lady and the Tramp Tsum Tsum Bundle – Ā£21.00 (link)

I saw these a couple of days in the Disney Store and I wanted to buy all of them! As old readers will know I LOVE Lady and the Tramp, it’s my favourite Disney movie so whenever I see merch come out for the film at the Disney Store, I have to buy. I already have the old Lady Tsum Tsum, but now I want the new one, as well as all her friends and enemies! I won’t get these until after the holiday though.

  • Dr Martens 8761 BXB Boot – Ā£135.00 (link)

I don’t need a new pair of Docs… I really don’t. I saw these advertised recently on their official Instagram page and fell in love! I have a thing for Dr Martens boots with a steel toe, my Triumph boots have this same sort of look and it looks so chunky and amazing! I love the classic 1461 boots, but the chunky toe just gives them that edgy look. As much as I love my Triumph boots they aren’t the easiest to put on when in a hurry and I’d like some ankle boots that I can just shove on and go out the door in! These are going to be something I’ll treat myself to before my student discount card runs out. šŸ˜› I’ll rock them throughout autumn and winter this year FOR SURE!

So that’s my wish list this month. It’s not the best wish list in the world but there’s a couple of pieces on here that I really want to get for my colder weather essentials. I don’t know if I’ll be buying anything whilst on holiday beauty and fashion wise. I’m sure I’ll have a massive list of goodies up I’ve bought when I’m back. Unless I buy the Docs before I go, I won’t be buying anything on this list anytime soon. Money that I get paid this month will be for holiday and bills. šŸ˜›

What items do you have on your wish lists right now? Make sure to let me know in the comments!

Until next time, take care all and I hope you’ve had an awesome week and weekend!

Holiday Wish List

It’s only a whole three months away now, which is going to FLASH BEFORE MY EYES! Legit it probably will flash before my eyes… šŸ˜› I’m trying to keep myself on a spending ban until the holiday is over due to wanting to save money FOR the holiday. However I do want to pick up some new bits and pieces to take with me. You know the usual holiday stuff… Bikini, shorts, skirts, sandals… Etc etc etc!

I’m not going to lie, I was super excited to write this post for weeks after eyeing up LOADS of bikinis, but now the sales have hit so many of them have gone and I am GUTTED. This list isn’t going to be as big as I originally planned it to be… But oh well! šŸ˜› I tried really hard to be honest to get a decent list together! Just goes to show I didn’t need as much as I thought I did. šŸ˜›

  • New Look Pool To Party Turquoise Sequin Wrap Front Bikini Top – Ā£14.99 (link)
  • New Look Pool To Party Turquoise Sequin Tie Side Bikini Bottoms – Ā£9.99 (link)

I Ā have had my eye on quite a few bikini sets from New Look so far this year, as I mentioned in my May wish list (which you can read here). That has sadly sold out online now due to it going in the sale, so it’s one I’ll have to keep my eye out for in stores. ANYWAY This bikini set is better in my opinion though to be honest as not only can you wear it by the pool but teamed up with a pair of shorts you could wear it out and about. I wouldn’t do this myself as I feel conscious about my stomach. BUT it just looks so pretty! I definitely want to get it for my holiday. It just looks so pretty for a summer holiday and has a mermaid look to it. As well as that I love the fastening across the back as it means you don’t have to piss around with tying two straps, just the one around the neck. I’ll definitely try and get this one instead of leaving it too late like the other. šŸ˜›

  • Vans X Peanuts Skates Crewneck Sweatshirt – Ā£55.00 (link)

This is definitely one of my favourite items on this list. I was actually going to add it to my July wish list but NAHHHHH I want it for holiday and to be honest it’s definitely an excuse to get it before I go, or at least try and find it for sale whilst I’m over in Fuerteventura. It’s a sweatshirt with loads of cute pictures of Snoopy on, as well as Woodstock. I’d rock this with jeans and shorts and probably wear it to death throughout the autumn and winter season. šŸ˜›

  • Iron Fist Deerly Dress – Ā£45.00 (currently in sale for Ā£26.99) – (link)

This is a dress I had my eye out for buying and wearing to a wedding, but I wasn’t able to go to that so I never ended up buying it. I love Iron Fist dresses, they’re amazing quality for the price and really comfortable to wear. I’ve taken and worn an Iron Fist dress on holiday before and it was perfect for evening wear as well as day wear due to the gorgeous red colour. As the name suggests it does have a deer theme to it, which is the print. There is the white spots you would find on a deer, as well as some little white skulls which I love, it really gives that Iron Fist feel to it.

  • Vans X Peanuts Slide-On Sandals – Ā£25.00 (link)

I have a love and hate relationship with sliders right now. They look awesome, especially these and even some holographic ones I’ve eyed up online. BUT SERIOUSLY what the fuck are these ugly fluffy sliders everyone is wearing right now? Can we burn them? šŸ˜› But I have seen a few pairs I like the look for but the most tasteful ones I’ve found to date are these Vans X Peanuts collaboration ones! They’re black (tick!), they have Snoopy and Woodstock on (tick, tick!) and they’re Vans (TICK, TICK, TIIIICK!)! What more could I ask for? šŸ˜› I’ll be keeping my eyes peeled for them to go into the sale. šŸ˜‰

  • New Look Pool To Party Turquoise Sequin Swimsuit – Ā£29.99 (link)

I am not a fan of wearing swimming costumes/swimsuits as I love tanning and wearing a swimsuit won’t help you tan! Well your legs and arms yeah, but sweet FA else. This however is something I would like to wear in the daytime and evening with a skirt or a pair of shorts to make an outfit. I wouldn’t want to pay the full price for it mind as I find it’s a bit expensive for what it is! It does look gorgeous though and honestly it just looks like a great piece of evening wear.

  • Killstar Dye Fast Woodstock Maxi Dress TIEDYE – Ā£44.99Ā (currently in sale for Ā£29.99) – (link)

I’ve had my eye on picking up another Killstar dress for ages but always left it due to saving money. I definitely want to get another one for the holiday and I’ve had my eye on the rainbow tie dye for ages! There’s two styles for this print, the maxi dress and the sun dress (which you can find here). I like both dresses for various reasons but I seem to be swaying towards the maxi dress more for various reasons. This would be lovely to wear more so in the evening when the sun is down than in the day. This is mostly due to the pentagram print on the back, I wouldn’t want that tanned into my back. šŸ˜›

  • Vans X Peanuts Riffs Dress – Ā£60.00 – (link)

This is the last item on this list and one I’m 50/50 about, mainly due to the price! I’ve wanted a denim dress for at least two years now but I can’t seem to find a decent one anywhere. They’re either too thin, too thick or don’t suit my shape. Of course this one may happen to have the same issues I’ve encountered before, but I just love how this has pictures of Snoopy all over. It’s just so different and something I wouldn’t mind grabbing for the holiday. It’s just so expensive sadly. 😦 Sooo we shall see!

That’s my holiday wish list! I know it’s nothing special, but I’m quite laid back with holidays, especially to Fuerteventura. šŸ™‚

Do you have any shops I should check out for holiday pieces? Please share links in the comments down below or over on my Twitter account @maybeecoffee

Until next time take care all, I hope you had a lovely weekend!

March ’16 Wish List

Okay this is seriously a wish list this month because I SERIOUSLY need to watch my money now. I need to adult and only spend money on house related items… How boring. šŸ˜› I’m hoping to do a wish list Wednesday post on house related items, so keep your eyes peeled for that in the future!

But for now, I’ll just be talking about all sorts of cute, and quirky items that I want for myself. Oh and FYI, I never bought a single thing off of my wish list last month… šŸ˜›

deadpool20wish20list_zpsmt36m9hv

  • Benefit Posie Tint – Ā£24.50 (link)

I have to first of all say, I know there are going to be LOADS of lip products on this months wish list… Oh boy. BUT I picked up a sample of this lip tint and I have fallen head over heels in love with it. I am literally using this nearly everyday for work. A little bit goes a long way, and it leaves a gorgeous just bitten pink stain on the lips. I am just so in love. I will buy this one day, I just don’t know when at this moment in time. DAMN having to be a grown up and save money!

  • OPI Hello Kitty Collection Nail Lacquer in Starry-Eyed For Daniel -Ā£12.50 (sadly no link as most stores have sadly sold out…)

I have been lusting after this nail lacquer for quite some time now… BUT I keep telling myself I don’t need anymore polishes, especially when I don’t really wear them anymore. I have my eye on quite a few of the lacquers from this collection, including this one, Charmmy and Sugar, and Say Hello To Hello Kitty. But I doubt I’ll pick any of these up, at least not any time soon at least. It is such a pretty collection coming up to spring and summer, and it’s been a long time coming OPI collaborating with Sanrio. I hope they bring another collection out in future with the rest of the Sanrio family!

  • Bee & PuppyCat Vol. 2 Comic Book – Ā£10.76 (link)

I LOVE Bee & PuppyCat and after recently discovering that there was a comic book out of the popular cartoon show, I just fell harder in love with the show. The second volume of the comic book is currently on pre-order, but as it’s out in less than a month it’ll be mine before I write and publish my April wish list… Because I have that shit pre-ordered! OH YEAH!

  • Sugar Bunny Shop Doki Fox Yamiiko Sweatshirt – $25.00 (link)

Oh.My.GLOB I love this sweatshirt and I legit want it in my life… BUT MONEY! Y DO I HAVE NO MONEY?! Eventually this will become mine, when I don’t know, but it will be one day. It’s the gorgeous Sugar Bunny’s Doki dumpling fox on a sweatshirt, what more could I ask for? I love foxes as it is, but I especially love her Doki fox, he’s just so adorable. Dane bought me some of the stickers from her store a few Christmases ago and I keep them safe in my diary. I could imagine Dane buying me this for our third anniversary together… But we shall see what happens…

  • Lancome Juicy Shaker in shade 400 Mint To Be – Ā£18.00 (link)

I’ve actually bought one of these already… *smacks hand when meant to be saving money* NAUGHTY NAT! But I bought one of the purple shades. This one however is a gorgeous blue/clear sparkly shade, and one that is also limited edition. I actually regret not buying this one considering what it is… But meh I’m sure I’ll be able to pick this up on another occasion. These are gorgeous and lovely to wear for work, and I know already they’ll be a real hit with teenagers, and especially in the summer when people are going on holiday. I’m going to be writing a review up in the week on the shade I picked up over the weekend.

  • Benefit Puff Off Eye Gel – Ā£22.50 (link)

I have been lusting after this throughout February and I actually went to buy it a week ago, but it has sold out in the Boots store I visited! I received a sample of this when I picked up my Matte Rescue and I fell in love. It’s a lovely creamy gel texture, and when applied to the eye area it helps it feel cool, perfect in the morning! I don’t know when I’ll pick this up, as I recently purchased a miniature of Benefit’s It’s Potent eye cream, which I am loving at the moment! So I’m not in as much hurry right now as I previously was. I still can’t wait to get my hands on this though.

  • Nana Manga Vol. 16-21

I’ve spoken about this manga on my blog before, and it is by far my favourite. It’s also incredibly hard to get hold of these days, but my boyfriend finds me good copies on Amazon all the time… Thank God! I am currently on 13, but I know after I’ve finished writing and schedule this post, I’ll be reading it for a while before I go to sleep. I am so close to the end of the series, yet so far away! I know kind of what happens at the end, which sucks, but meh. I’ve watched the anime for the series, which I fell in love with too and own on DVD. I just can’t wait to get the rest of the volumes so I know that I’m one of the lucky few who owns ALL of the series. This is something I will definitely be buying off of this list. I can’t live without my manga.

So that was my wish list for this month! What goodies do you have on your own wish lists this month? Make sure to let me know in the comments down below of what you have your eye on.

Until next time all, take care and I hope you’re all having a great week so far.
