The Pokemon Tag

As regular readers will know, I LOVE Pokemon! I have done since I discovered the show aged 6 and then the game aged 9. I’ve just been hooked since then and really do love playing both the games still to this day, as well as collecting Pokemon items from the Pokemon Centre in Japan.

I wasn’t at all surprised when I read that Sarah over at Raiin Monkey had taken part in this tag, as I know she loves Pokemon just as much as I do! 😀 She mentioned at the end of the post how she’s happy for anyone to take part in this tag, so whilst I’m poorly in bed I’m giving it a go myself! 😀

I really hope you enjoy my answers to this tag post, I know I’m excited to give it a go.

1. Favourite Pokemon? Definitely Mew, Dragonite and all the Eeveelutions! 😀 I love Cubone and Ampharos too.

2. Least favourite Pokemon? I can’t say as I have a least favourite Pokemon in all fairness… If anything maybe some of the latest generation Pokemon as they’re just lame and weird made up stuff to get the numbers up.

3. Favourite starter Pokemon? Cyndaquil! I love that Pokemon so much.

4. Favourite Eeveelution? Ooo this is a tough one to be honest you!

5. Favourite legendary Pokemon? Definitely Mew as well as all the dog legendary Pokemon from the second generation, Raikou, Entei and Suicune.

6. Most terrifying Pokemon? Mmm this is a tough one as I don’t find any really terrify me as such… If anything MissingNo used to creep me out growing up! I remember catching one in Pokemon Red and it glitched my game, nearly to the point of me losing everything! That’s the most terrified a Pokemon has ever gotten me. 😛

7. Most adorable Pokemon? Aww this is a tough one as there’s so many! 😛 The baby Pokemon evolutions are definitely adorable and I loved them all in generation 2! Of course Mew and the Eeveelutions are up there with the cute Pokemon. One of my favourites has to be Cubone though. 🙂

8. Most amusing Pokemon? Misty’s Psyduck. 😛

9. Favourite Pokemon type? Dragon and fairy.

10. Least favourite Pokemon type? I’d definitely say bug. It’s so shite it’s a joke. 😛

11. Favourite new Pokemon from X and Y? Fennekin and Sylveon! 😀

12. Favourite Pokemon attack or move? Dragon rage is a pretty good one, alongside some of the moves Eevee can learn from it’s Eeveelutions in the new Pokemon: Let’s Go Eevee.

13. Favourite trainer type? Trainer type?! Erm… I don’t know really… I guess the ones that carry cute Pokemon is always good and of course the easy trainers. 😛

14. Your gym leader speciality? I don’t fully get this question… If you mean if I was a gym leader I think my speciality would be fire Pokemon as I seem to sway towards them quite a lot. 😛 In my team I’d have Fennekin, Cyndaquil, Vulpix, Flareon, Arcanine and Rapidash.

15. Favourite region? Kanto and Johto. I love them both too much to pick just the one.

16. Favourite location? Definitely a toss up between Lavender Town from Kanto and Mt Moon from Johto when you get to watch Clefairy and Clefable dance on a Monday.

17. Most relatable Pokemon? I legit went to Buzzfeed and did a quiz because I honestly couldn’t come up with an answer for this! I got Mewtwo and it said, “You’re a rare one, that’s for sure. At times you may let your anger get the best of you, but we all know that you’re a sensitive and thoughtful spirit at heart. This world needs you, but just doesn’t know it yet.” Good enough. 😛

18. Favourite gym leader? Definitely Blue Oak/Gary Oak. I can’t really pick a favourite gym leader as I can’t say that I have one, but I love Gary’s character. He definitely needed to become a gym leader in the future.

19. Favourite elite 4 member/champion? I rather like Lance from gen 1 as he comes back for Silver and Gold to help you out for a “mission”.

20. Favourite Professor? Professor Oak for sure, the original professor! 😀

21. Favourite Pokemon bad guy? Team Rocket is always a good choice, but I really liked N too from the Black and White games.

22. Favourite rival? I’d say Gary Oak but I actually rather liked the rival from Silver, Gold and Crystal. He’s called Silver and from memory he’s actually Giovanni’s son!

23. A friend-relatable Pokemon? Oh God knows! Erm… Probably Snorlax. I love sleeping and if someone wakes me I get very angry. 😛

24. Most useful Pokemon? Every single Eeveelution to be honest with you. 😛 If you needed heat – Flareon. If you needed water – Vaporeon. If you needed electricity – Jolteon. You get the point. 😛

25. Favourite animal Pokemon? Definitely fox/dog.

26. Favourite coloured Pokemon? Purple and white and pink.

27. Favourite game? I’d have to say Pokemon Silver. As much as I loved the original three, Silver has a soft spot in my heart. It’s the Pokemon game I’ve played the most and almost came close to finishing. The reason I didn’t was due to my game becoming corrupted. 😦 I cried for days after it happened.

28. What did you nickname your rival? It was usually my cousin as we used to compete against one another when we played Pokemon. She always did better than I did though. 😛

29. Favourite Pokemon tune or song? There’s loads from Pokemon Silver, Gold and Crystal that I love such as “Violet City” and “Azalea Town”.

30. Most nostalgic element? I think when the Gold and Silver remakes came out and it meant I could replay the games again and gain myself some memories back to when I was a teenager. I spent hours on end, to all hours playing the original Silver game. I think I need to now go away and play Pokemon Silver as I’m just getting too many memories. 😛

Aww I really loved taking part in this Pokemon tag and if it wasn’t for Sarah giving it a go, I don’t know how long it would have taken me to find out about it! Make sure to go and read Sarah’s post to see what her answers were.

I tag everyone who reads this post and loves Pokemon to give the tag a go yourself! 😀

Do you love Pokemon just as much as I do? Let me know in the comments down below.

Until next time, take care all and I hope you’re ready for the weekend, I know I am! 😛

Ohayou! Clothing Persona 5 Phantom Thieves Pins

This is a post I’ve been meaning to get around to writing for agggges now! It was thanks to a chat with Amy over at Writing into the Ether that encouraged me to write this post sooner rather than later. She loves pins just as much as I do! I picked up all of these pins back before Christmas through Ohayou! Clothing‘s Kickstarter, as well as their store online.

As many of my readers will know I LOVE Persona 5, just as much as I do with Pokemon so when Ohayou! (who in turn are my favourite designer) brought out the first two Phanton Thieves designs, I was hooked. So, I thought I would talk about these amazing pins on my blog today, because why not?! 😀

So far the collection has seven pins, which consist of Joker, Panther, Mona, Skull, Fox, Queen and Oracle.

There should really be nine, the missing two being Noir and Crow. I hope in the future that Ohayou! designs and releases these two eventually, as I’d love to own all of the Phantom Thieves, even the evil Crow! 😛

The pins themselves are all gold plated and come with two pins so you can feel a bit more secure when wearing these pins on bags, clothing, etc.

The first two designs that came out were Joker and Panther, which I bought the day they were released. I loved the designs but couldn’t stand the thought of wearing them in case they got lost, damaged or misplaced. So I decided to wait and see if Ohayou! would bring out anymore designs. Not long later she released her Kickstarter and slowly released the other five designs.

Eventually Ohayou! Clothing started posting out peoples Kickstarter awards and hence I received the rest of the Phantom Thieves pins!

I’ll be showing them all off on the photos down below.

Joker

Skull

Mona

Panther

Fox

Queen

Oracle

I don’t believe that there are many people out there making their own Persona 5 pins of the Phantom Thieves, or at least not ALL of them anyway! I have seen the odd Joker and Panther pins flying around but other than that it’s mostly just masks.

I just love the chibi design that Ohayou! Clothing has done with the Phantom Thieves, as well as adding cute little poses with them all too! I especially love that their eyes have hearts in, with each having their eye colours.

If I had to pick a favourite out of the bunch I really love Fox with his side smile, as well as Skull with his grin. They’re all gorgeous though in their own way. The design is just perfect for all of them! As a Persona 5 fan I couldn’t have asked for a better bunch of pins.

Not only can you buy these pins in their standard versions for £8.99 but you can also pick up the slightly imperfect versions for £7.99. This means they might have a slight discoloration, scuff etc. I’ve purchased both from Ohayou! Clothing in the past and both have been just as good as the other.

In the future I hope we get the two missing Phantom Thieves, who are Noir and Crow.

Do you love Persona 5 and pins just as much as I do? Make sure to go and check out her designs over on the store, the link is here for you! 🙂

If you love cute pin badge designs, make sure to go and check out Ohayou! Clothing’s other pin badges over on their store! They’re my favourite out there.

What are some of your favourite pin badges you own, as well as designers? Make sure to let me know in the comments down below!

Until next time, take care all and I hope you’re having a lovely week so far. 🙂

A Mini YY Kawaii Haul

Okay, so I said I was going to be saving money this year but yet I’m posting a haul on my blog today! Some saving, eh? Well most of these items I pre-ordered months ago in all fairness and now they’re here I paid the balance off and they arrived. 🙂

So I thought I would show you guys what goodies I recently bought from YY Kawaii! I love her store so damn much and whenever I’m after certain items, I know if I ask, not only will they try their hardest to get said item(s) but they’ll also offer the best price(s) too.

The first item on I’m going to mention in this haul is one I pre-ordered back in September! I didn’t realise it had been THAT long! The wait for this Persona 5 Joker plushie has been totally worth it though and he’s so adorable! He looks really happy with his little smiling face and the detail on his outfit, as well as his face is so good! There’s quite a few of these coming out alongside Joker and even my massive Morgana plushie is a part of the nesoberi collection! This plushie will be going on my bookshelf alongside the Joker plushie I have on there already.

Another item I pre-ordered before Christmas is the Eevee Tamagotchi! I decided to order this for myself before Christmas. This wasn’t cheap and although I didn’t mind paying the price for it at the time, when it arrived I couldn’t quite believe how small it was. Fuck me it’s tiny and it’s kind of a joke how tiny it is. This being said, I like it all the same and LOVE playing it before and after work since it arrived! You could get the pink and yellow versions, I opted for the latter. As you’ve probably guessed you’re looking after an Eevee which after 3 days if lots of love and care, will turn into one of the nine Eeveelutions! I haven’t got to that point just yet, but I can’t wait to find out which one I’ll be getting already! For the price I’m glad I picked this up as they won’t be making anymore now. I would have left it in the packaging, but meh what’s the point in paying money for something I can’t play and enjoy?! Would you guys like me to review this by the way? Make sure to let me know in the comments.

Finally we come onto the next two items, which I pre-ordered just after Christmas and my birthday as a treat for myself. I mentioned in my “What I got For Christmas 2018” post (which you can read here) that Dane bought me four of the nine Eeveelutions as Christmas presents. This then meant I was only missing two more of the Eeveelutions, Glaceon and Leafeon. So I decided it was time to order them! Less than a month later and they’re here and I love them so much.

Out of the two I love Leafeon the most as its face is just so sweet and adorable to look at! The little brown nose really does it for me. 🙂

So that is all for my mini YY Kawaii haul! I honestly love that I’m able to easily get my hands on Japanese goodies through YY Kawaii. I honestly don’t know what I did before I discovered sellers like her.

Have you bought anything recently? What have you bought? Make sure to let me know in the comments!

I am so glad it’s the weekend, what plans do you guys have?

Until next time, take care all and I hope you’re all as excited for the weekend as I am. 😛

February Wish List ’19

I can’t quite believe it’s February already! January really did fly by and to be honest I’m so glad as aside from mine and my mom’s birthdays it was fucking crap. The fact it flew by in a blur was shitty. I wanted to at least get a chance to see January before it was gone.

This being said, I’m using February as a, “this is the month I get my shit together for the rest of the year!” I hope it actually is.

For now however, I’m STUFFED with Korean BBQ and I’m re watching Shameless for the fifth time. I’m actually trying to save up right now so me and Dane can hurry up and book Japan for my birthday, but this being said I’m still going to write my monthly wish list post, because why not. 😛

As you may have already noticed, for the first time in God knows how many years my monthly wish list post isn’t up on the 3rd of the month. I’ve decided that moving forward that this post every month will now be up on the 4th of every month!

Without anymore delays, let’s get on with the post! 😀

  • Persona 5 Futaba Sakura Nendoroid (link)

I am so stoked for this Nendoroid being out now! I’m awaiting the delivery of mine from Gamersheek and I can’t wait for her to arrive. I pre-ordered her back in July 2018 so I’ve been waiting for her for over 6 months now. Soon as she arrives she’ll be going next to my Morgana Nendoroid and then before we know it Joker and Queen will be joining them! As soon as she arrives I’ll try and show her off on my blog. I don’t really talk loads about Nendoroid figures on my blog, as in like a dedicated post. Would you guys like that? Let me know if you would like to.

  • Pink Soda Sport Arden Panel Sports Bra (link)

I’ve been going to my pole fitness once a week with my best friend Jacqui and I always forget how much I miss it as soon as I start it up again. I also plan on starting the gym with Dane this month too so I could do with some more fitness clothing. I own one Pink Soda sports bra and whilst it isn’t the most supportive in the world, it’s super comfortable and does the job for what I need it for. I’d love to get this one soon!

  • Pink Soda Sport Fitness Tights (link)

I know these are called fitness tights… So is that another term for leggings? I could do with some more leggings, again for the gym as well as when me and Dane go for walks together. These match the sports bra that I want to get, so it would be nice to have the matching set in all honesty. I’m going to go for a mooch in JD Sports soon to see what goodies I can get from Pink Soda as I really love the brand.

  • Bravissimo Maya Balconette Bra in Plum (link)

If there is a brand I discovered and fell in love with in 2018, it was Bravissimo! I was actually meant to write about it back when I first bought my bras from them, but that never happened. I may end up doing that soon considering it’s been since around July time. I can have a good natter about my experience, as well as which bras I own and why they’re good. ANYWAY this is one of the new styles they’ve brought out in 2019 and it looks GORGEOUS! It looks super comfortable, the colour is really pretty and it just looks fab. It’s not the cheapest in the world, but if it feels comfortable, makes me feel sexy and well does the job, I can’t really complain.

  • Himouto! Umaru-chan Vol. 4 (link)

New month, new manga! I’m not going to lie, I hardly read any manga throughout January and this is purely because I was just too bloody busy. I don’t think I’ll pick up this manga until I’ve caught up with all the series volumes I have right now. This being said, I LOVE this manga so as soon as I can pick this up to read I will for sure! I need to finish watching season 2 of Himouto! Umaru-chan in all fairness.

  • Paperchase Valentines Pink Ombre Heart Pen (link)

This is such a random item on this list, but in one of my most recent emails about Paperchase’s Valentine’s Day collection I noticed this being advertised and I kind of fell in love with it. It’s obviously meant to be a lolly and even though it’s nothing special, I still love the look of it! I’d have it for work to brighten up my pen pot even more so than it already is. My only issue however is, I bet it’s not a black pen! Which I use the most in my job. 😛 I MAY pick it up as for £3.00 it’s not a bad price. 🙂

  • Laneige Two Tone Matte Lip Bar in Red Velvet (link)

I really want to try some more Korean beauty products in 2019, especially lip products. I feel like I need more lip tints in my life as I really love doing the “bitten” lip look. I stumbled across the Laneige two tone lip bars and fell in love. I intend to pick some up soon but the one I really have my eye on is this red velvet shade, which will look really nice in colour opaque, as well as blotted out. I don’t know why but the shade colour reminds me of something vintage, which I love even more! If I end up getting this one, or any of the lip bars, I’ll definitely review them! 😀

So that was my wish list for February! I’m trying to save money to be honest with you as I REALLY want Japan booked out the way, so I can spend the next 11 months saving up spending money. As soon as Japan is booked, you guys will definitely know about it. 😛

What are you guys wishing for throughout February? Make sure to let me know in the comments down below!

Until next time, take care all and I hope you’re having an amazing start to the week. 🙂

January Favourites ’19

It’s officially the first monthly favourites post of 2019! Woohoo! Of course with that comes me talking about all the things I loved throughout the previous month, which of course was January.

I usually talk about beauty and lifestyle and it’s something I really enjoy talking about overall. I wanted to think of more things to add to my monthly favourites, what with there being a New Year and all but honestly, I couldn’t think of anything else worth adding! I thought about maybe adding like a favourite fashion piece, but my fashion sense isn’t everyone’s cup of tea… So I think I’ll leave that for now. 😛

As always I’ll talk about beauty first and lifestyle after! I hope you enjoy the first favourites post of 2019!

  • Lush Christingle Naked Body Conditioner.

This was something I picked up in the sales just after Christmas. Lush in Birmingham had LOADS of these in stock still and for half of the price they retailed for originally. I’m not as big a fan of Lush as I used to be, but as I had some Christmas/birthday money I decided to treat myself to some of the Valentine’s Day Lush goodies! I use this twice a week at the moment and to be honest with you it’s such a fab little product. I do find it to be incredibly greasy and I have to actually wipe off the excess body conditioner with a flannel as it’s just far too greasy feeling for me. I won’t be repurchasing any of the body conditioners again due to this, but it’s nice to give a go for the money. It makes me feel soft and smell of gorgeous peppermint, so I can’t complain. 😛

  • MUA Luxe Inked Lip Stain in Sangria.

If there is a lip trend I have been loving lately it’s the bitten lip look that has come over from Korean Beauty over to us! It’s been around for ages to be honest and is something I have done on and off over the years, but more so lately than ever before. I love these MUA lip stains as they’re super cheap, come in a nice selection of shades and are long lasting! I love to apply it into the inside of my lips to give that bitten look. It’s flattering too if I don’t want to have a heavy lip colour on and as it wear away quiet naturally, I don’t feel like I need to constantly top up. If you guys would like me to show you how I get the “bitten” look, please let me know and I’ll do a post about it!

  • Cath Kidston Hand Cream.

I got so many of these hand creams in my advent calendar at Christmas and I LOVE them all so damn much! The Cath Kidston hand creams are really thick, which are a blessing for my eczema prone hands. I use them at work mostly to be fair and always keep a tube on my desk now to use on my hands as soon as they feel dry and sore. I do have some at home too, but I have other hand creams I tend to use here. I don’t know if you can buy the tubes that I have, but you can buy all sorts of versions from Cath Kidston in their permanent range, so if you’re after a luxurious hand cream but don’t want to spend a fortune, I definitely recommend giving theirs a go! The one thing I dislike the most about them is some of their scents. They remind me of scents that your gran would have on her vanity. They’re lovely, don’t get me wrong but they aren’t ALWAYS for me. 🙂

  • The Body Shop Drops of Youth™ Youth Liquid Peel.

This is a product I LOVE so damn much and keep meaning to reveal since I bought it before Christmas. I’ll definitely get around to it sooner rather than later. This is a liquid you apply to the face and rub constantly all over your face to remove deal skin. It comes off in balls and chunks, which is gross to admit is your dead skin! 😛 I love using this liquid peel before my tea tree skin wash on my face, as well as before face masks. I use it once maybe twice a week if I feel the need to and it really does help my skin out! 😀

  • Rio Sonicleanse Glo Silicone Facial Cleansing Tool.

My final favourite beauty product of this month definitely has to be this facial cleansing brush that my mom bought me for Christmas (which you can see here alongside all the other goodies I was gifted in 2018! I use this facial cleansing brush everyday and I can tell it’s made a massive improvement to my skin. It makes me feel like I’m getting deep into my pores and giving my skin a good clean, alongside getting rid of old and dead skin cells to reveal fresh skin. I’ve been using this for well over a month now too and haven’t needed to recharge the batteries which is amazing! I probably will over this weekend. Again, if you would like me to review this facial cleansing brush please let me know!

So now my beauty favourites are done, time to talk about the miscellaneous favourites of the month!

Favourite TV Show – Inside No. 9.

This is a show I was told about back in the day when the first series came out. I watched some of the second episode and liked what I saw, but never watched anymore of it. During my Christmas holiday time from work I watched ALL of The League of Gentlemen and fell in love. I always found it to be a “creepy” show but after watching it, it’s right up my street. When I wanted to watch more from Reece Shearsmith and Steve Pemberton I stumbled across Inside No. 9 on BBC iPlayer and decided to give it a go. It has fast turned into one of my favourite TV series and I love it! It’s a dark comedy/horror series with episodes about what’s happening to people behind a door, house, room etc with the number 9 on it. It reminds me of Black Mirror but different. It’s not all technology based like Black Mirror is and I like that. Definitely give it a watch if you like this sort of thing though, you won’t be disappointed!

Favourite Film – Mary and the Witch’s Flower.

This is probably the only new film I’ve watched this month and in all honesty it’s the only film that I can think that I’ve watched at all this month! I picked it up on my birthday to watch as it was in the sale for £9.99 for the Blu-ray so I used some of my birthday money to treat myself (you can see what else I got for my birthday here). It’s about Mary, a girl who seems to have moved to live with her aunt and is due to start a new school soon. She doesn’t really seem to have any friends yet, is clumsy and doesn’t like her bushy red hair. One day she discovers a special flower and from there her life changes rather quickly! This is by Studio Ponoc, who are pretty much a sister company to Studio Ghibli. This is their first feature film and it did really well! I love it so much and really enjoyed watching it with Dane on one of our weekends off together.

I Am a Hero.jpg

Favourite Book – I Am a Hero.

This is a manga Dane randomly discovered quite a while ago and every birthday, Christmas and anniversary I’ll buy him as many copies of the manga as I can! Not only doe she read this manga, but so do I. I read a couple of he volumes throughout last month and it’s just getting better and better! I’m up to volume 6 at the moment and the story line is getting really juicy now! It’s about a zombie apocalypse in Japan and we follow Hideo Suzuki as he tries to make his way through it, meeting people as he goes. The art style is amazing as it’s so realistic and gives the zombies something a little different. I definitely recommend you giving it a go if you like zombie related films, shows, books, etc.

Favourite Song – “Promises” Calvin Harris Feat. Sam Smith.

Oh man I love this song so much, so much so whenever I hear it on the radio at work it just cheers me up so damn much! I only recently popped it onto my YouTube to listen to whilst I get ready in the mornings, do blog work, as well as any other tasks throughout each day. Sam Smith has a lovely singing voice and Calvin Harris is an artist I’ve loved since back in the day when he made that song and sang about the 80’s and what was acceptable. 😛 Yes Mr Harris I still dig the stuff you made back in the day! 😛

Favourite Game – Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp.

I was going to talk about Style Boutique 3 this month and although I’ve played it loads, I feel like I’ve played Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp almost daily to be honest since I got my iPhone XR but over the Christmas period and the odd days off I played this game loooooads. I find I play it most before bedtime as I find it relaxes me. I mentioned it a post last month about games I find help anxiety (which you can read here). They’ve just added some new updates too, one which makes playing the game so much easier than it used to be! I also love playing this in the car at the moment as it deices, you know with how crap and cold the weather has been lately. 😛

So those are all of my favourites from January!

What do you have on your favourites list from last month? Make sure to let me know in the comments down below and even let me know what your favourite fashion pieces too. I know mine has for sure been my Lazy Oaf rainbow “boring” cardigan. 😛

Until next time, take care all and I hope you’re ready for a relaxed weekend.

Life Lately -Urgh Can 2019 Slow Down?!

Busy GIF by Leroy Patterson

I just want to address that I didn’t realise I hadn’t written a life lately post since August 2018!

I didn’t think it had been so long to be honest with you, but it’s obvious that from August until now things haven’t been too bad. Not that things are bad when I do a life lately post, but I usually tend to do them when I want to address some things with you guys – my readers.

I’ve got myself a cup of earl grey tea and I’m binge watching a TV show I’ve come to adore since my Christmas time off work. I think you should grab yourself a lovely drink and get settled down for this blog post. 🙂

To start off this post I’ll be blunt. January hasn’t been shit but it hasn’t been perfect. It’s been exhausting. My jokey wording for January is like a bad shag – yeah it’s good for the time but leaves you unsatisfied and you wonder why you bothered in the first place.

2019 is the year I want to try and have my blog better than ever and I know we’re only into the first month of the year but deep down I already feel like I’ve fucked up somehow.

Without going into too much detail (because I’m private in some ways and all that) I got a promotion at work, a very good one at that. It was fab being offered it as finally after working on and off since the age of 14, I’ve finally been recognised and been shown I have some potential. It’s amazing and I love it. However, with responsibility comes the realisation of being an adult… Even though I experience that anyway, but you know what I mean!

Due to this new responsibility I’ve been busier than ever and my blog has been pushed away due to this. This sucks. I love my blog, it’s what I look forward to doing after days at work and over the weekend. I love writing my geeky content, reviews and especially working with companies to promote their amazing products.

I also love chatting to bloggers and followers on my Twitter and Instagram about all sorts and even that I feel like I’m pushed it to the side due to being tired and busy.

I just feel like since the start of the year my blog has taken a MASSIVE step back and this upsets me. It’s my hobby at the end of the day and my main one at that. It upsets me that something I am so passionate about and love is being shoved on a dusty shelf until I get around to looking at it again from afar. It really fucking sucks.

When I have been coming to looking at my blog and doing work on it I feel like the content I write and publish is shite, utter shite. Boring shite at that that no one cares about. I know this isn’t true though. My fabulous friends and followers are commenting on posts still and I love you all to the moon and back for sticking with me.

There have been a few tough moments for my blog, the worst being back in 2013/2014 when my blog had really taken off, but so had my anxiety and depression. I used to come home from my job at the time and just lie in bed, with something playing in the background as I mindlessly thought about how shit my life was and whether or not I wanted to carry on.

Alas 5/6 years later I’m in a much better place than I was and I can’t believe how I am now. My younger self would never believe that I could ever be better. Granted I’m not 100%, but I’m in a much better place.

I know this post has been utter waffle, but I just wanted to get it out there that I know my blog content hasn’t been amazing this month and that I’ve been fairly quiet on social media, but it’ll get better.

Throughout February I’m going to try and post my usual sort of content from reviews, beauty, lifestyle, geeky stuff and maybe some fashion too.

Are there any posts you’d love to see on my blog throughout February? 🙂 Make sure to let me know in the comments!

I am rather excited for next month for coffee dates, seeing Sabrepulse play as well as many more things. What plans do you have for February? Make sure to let me know about that in the comments too.

Until next time all, I hope you’re well and have had a fab weekend. 🙂

Wish List Wednesday – Killstar

If there is one brand I have really come to love over the past couple of months, it’s definitely Killstar! I’ve loved Killstar for almost 3 years in all fairness but I feel like only of late have I made more purchases with them. Throughout 2019 I’d love to buy even more pieces from them as I love wearing the two dresses I picked up in the sales (which you can see here) for both work, as well as in my own time after work and for my weekends off. 😀

For now though I’m going to show you guys what items Id love to pick up from Killstar soon! 😀 There will be a mixture of items from the website, obviously including clothing as well as footwear and home.

  • Wednesday Addams Dress – (link)

This is a dress I’ve wanted for years and STILL I haven’t bought it yet, which sucks. 😦 I actually bought it second hand off of someone via Depop, but I ended up being scammed. Meh. So I am still on the hunt for this dress! When my size is back in stock on the store I may just take the plunge and order it. I’m sick of not having it now and would love to wear it for work, as well as meals out with Dane and friends! Can never say no to looking like Wednesdays Addams. 😛

  • Hellda Knit Dress – (link)

This is a dress I wanted for a while like the Wednesday Addams dress, but the more I saw it in my wish list on the website, the less I wanted it. I thought it wouldn’t suit me, or that I already had something like it, which I doubt would be the case. So when I saw the gorgeous TheFodFairy over on YouTube showing it off on one of her latest videos, I KNEW I had to re add it to my wish list! I really want it for work in the colder weather! I do have a knitted dress just like this one, but I’ve owned it for over 5 years now so I need a much needed replacement.

  • Luna High Tops – (link)

If there is one thing I DON’T NEED it’s shoes. I would love a new pair of high tops as my white DC ones have seen better days and I’ve owned them for about 10 years now. How they’re still in one piece I don’t know! I’m not quite sure what it is I love about these high tops, other than everything! I feel like they’re an awesome cross between Vans and Dr Martens, which are two of my favourite brands. I’d love some of these to wear with dresses as well as skinny fit black jeans.

  • Starmap Comforter Set – (link)

I haven’t long ago discovered that this bed set exists and now I have, I REALLY want it! I have seen the price though and it hurts my soul just a little. 😛 It’s definitely a set I’m going to keep my eye on though as I really love the look of it. It’s called a comforter set because it’s really soft and fluffy, which would make it perfect for during the cold winter months! I wish it wasn’t like this though all the same, as I’d want to use this bedding all year around, of course this wouldn’t be doable during the warm summer months. As I mentioned, this isn’t cheap and although I love Killstar, £90 for some bedding is rather daft…

  • Wonka Knit Sweater – (link)

Finally we have another piece of clothing and alas the last thing on this wish list! The first item I bought from Killstar was a striped jumper, which I still own and wear to this day! It’s actually the jumper I wore in the photos that TV Trev took of me (which you can see in this post). It’s a nice oversized jumper that can be worn on its own with thick leggings or some jeans. I love to wear them when relaxing with friends as well as my weekends off work. They have quite a few different colour schemes for this jumper, but I rather love the look of the purple one to be fair! I’d love to get all the different colour versions though. 😛

If there is ever a time where you finally decide to take the plunge and make a first order with Killstar, then feel free to use my unique code and save yourself 5% off your first order! 😀

What do you think of the brand Killstar and the items I’ve popped onto my wish list this evening? Make sure to let me know in the comments down below!

I do apologise if this is a rather short post, but I wanted to get a wish list Wednesday post up today and the first brand that came to mind to feature on here today were Killstar.

I know my blog has been a bit on the bland side lately, I’ll be talking about this on Saturday. 🙂

Until next time, take care all and I hope you’re having a lovely week so far!
